Have you ever wondered why God chose to take on human form? God became man to destroy the works of the devil and restore the authority that was lost through Adam’s sin. By entering our humanity, Jesus—100% God and 100% man—reclaimed the dominion mankind had surrendered to Satan. Authority in earth was originally given to humanity, but Adam yielded that authority through sin. This is why Jesus had to be fully God and fully man: as God, His life held infinite value to ransom all creation; as man, He was able to repossess the authority Adam lost.

Through salvation, believers now have authority…
