- 0:08Speaker 1: Scable Advice Shoot Spice. Hello, Hello, welcome to the Naughty
- 0:17Speaker 1: Even Night Shout. It's Modnesday. I'm your host, Rob Shooter,
- 0:19Speaker 1: and our dear friend Garrett Vogela from Z one D
- 0:22Speaker 1: is with us. Garrett, are you there? Good morning, Rob Shooter.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I know you've had a weekend because I believe you
- 0:28Speaker 1: just called it monsday. I was always going to correct myself,
- 0:32Speaker 1: but I thought, oh, let's just keep going. I did
- 0:34Speaker 1: think anyone would notice. You know. One of the benefits
- 0:36Speaker 1: of having this ridiculous as accent is often I can
- 0:39Speaker 1: pretend it's the British way of saying things about actually,
- 0:42Speaker 1: I just got it wrong again. But as your friend.
- 0:45Speaker 1: As your friend, I'm not going to leave you out
- 0:47Speaker 1: there to to do. Just be like, I'm going to
- 0:49Speaker 1: play this off. You cannot use your British acts in year.
- 0:51Speaker 1: As your friend, I'm going to say, I got it is.
- 0:53Speaker 1: You had a weekend, you deserve to sleep in, And
- 0:56Speaker 1: here we go. We are often running cups to com Monday, Monday,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and what time is it, my friends? It is? I
- 1:04Speaker 1: think I think coffee time. Yes, everybody gets a cup
- 1:08Speaker 1: of coffee today. Big breaking news at the top of
- 1:10Speaker 1: the show, Corny Kartassiana and Travis Barker are engaged. So
- 1:15Speaker 1: the tour have been dating about nine months and they
- 1:19Speaker 1: got engaged over the weekend when the drummer proposed this
- 1:23Speaker 1: is so cute. So he's forty five, she's forty two,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and he asked her to marry him at the Newswood
- 1:30Speaker 1: Beach Hotel. And it seems to be quite an affair, Garret,
- 1:34Speaker 1: because they were surrounded by a displayer of red and
- 1:38Speaker 1: white roses and candles. He was wearing your blanch cameras. Yes,
- 1:46Speaker 1: he might be writing about that too. This is a major,
- 1:50Speaker 1: major proposal. Kim is already congratulating them, and Courtney herself
- 1:54Speaker 1: confirmed the news late Sunday evening. I like this. I
- 1:59Speaker 1: love in gay jamns. I think it's so romantic. What
- 2:01Speaker 1: do you think, Garrett? Oh, congratulations to both of them.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Of course. I mean, it's not like we didn't see
- 2:07Speaker 1: it coming. Uh. But here's the interesting thing though, So
- 2:10Speaker 1: Travis Barker, he performed very late on Saturday Night Live
- 2:13Speaker 1: with the musical guest Young Thugs. So what did he do.
- 2:17Speaker 1: He hopped on a plane and he went to California,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, so like he had he had a lot
- 2:22Speaker 1: on his plate. It's not like he just thought of
- 2:24Speaker 1: this idea. So he was on stage knowing the fact that, hey,
- 2:27Speaker 1: as soon as I get off, I gotta get back
- 2:29Speaker 1: to the West Coast because I have a big day
- 2:31Speaker 1: on SUNG. It might have been too much for me
- 2:33Speaker 1: on one weekend. I think I might have spread it
- 2:35Speaker 1: out over to Garretts. But give yourself some time. Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 1: isn't what happened if I was late, So we had
- 2:40Speaker 1: to call the hotel and sort of reserve I guess
- 2:42Speaker 1: the beach. Is that possible? Look? And then they well,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I mean, let's let's be honest, like this is a
- 2:47Speaker 1: group effort. It's not like, you know, Travis Barker is
- 2:50Speaker 1: you know, a solo act. Maybe he is on stage
- 2:52Speaker 1: when he's performing on the drums, but you know, Chris
- 2:56Speaker 1: Jennerver was definitely somewhere involved. You know, you have to
- 3:00Speaker 1: think that um and and all the family. I mean, so,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you know what's interesting though, this is like because I
- 3:07Speaker 1: believe Courtney Chloe was with Travis in New York City too,
- 3:13Speaker 1: so like the family was in on. Everybody had to
- 3:15Speaker 1: have had to have known. Do you think courtey new
- 3:17Speaker 1: Courtney was backstage with him too. There's photographs of them kissing.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They get this a little bit of gossip. Courtney did
- 3:23Speaker 1: not go to Kim show a couple of weeks ago,
- 3:25Speaker 1: but she did go to Travisy show. I'm not trying
- 3:28Speaker 1: to cause trouble because they're newly ware, not causing trouble.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You're just you're just telling the storyline for their new
- 3:33Speaker 1: show on Hulu when it comes. They were on the
- 3:36Speaker 1: Hulu schedule. So maybe this weekend they had to do
- 3:39Speaker 1: it because of editing, they getting it ready for the
- 3:41Speaker 1: whole Hey would being so naughty. Let's just say congratulations
- 3:44Speaker 1: to YouTube. Back to what was going to be our
- 3:46Speaker 1: lead story, The creator of Sex in the City, her
- 3:49Speaker 1: name is Candice Bushnell, is saying that Mr Big just
- 3:54Speaker 1: isn't worth it. So for a long time she didn't
- 3:56Speaker 1: really want to talk about the TV show, but now
- 3:58Speaker 1: she is because she is. Now she's saying he's not
- 4:01Speaker 1: worth saying he's not worth it, like as a person
- 4:05Speaker 1: or as a as a character. She likes Chris not
- 4:07Speaker 1: a great deal or though she doesn't know the cast
- 4:09Speaker 1: that well, so she said the following. The reality is
- 4:12Speaker 1: finding a guy is maybe not your best economic choice.
- 4:16Speaker 1: In the long term, men can be very dangerous to
- 4:20Speaker 1: women in lots of different ways. We never talk about this,
- 4:23Speaker 1: but that's something that women need to think about. You
- 4:27Speaker 1: can do a lot less when you have to rely
- 4:32Speaker 1: on a man. She went on to say that the
- 4:35Speaker 1: TV show and the message are not really very feminist
- 4:38Speaker 1: messages in the end, but it's just TV. It's entertainment.
- 4:42Speaker 1: That's why people should not base their lives on the
- 4:46Speaker 1: TV show. Well, I mean, I think we all knew
- 4:50Speaker 1: that too. I mean Mr Big was the guy, like
- 4:53Speaker 1: as perfect as he is, he had his flaws, just
- 4:56Speaker 1: like many of us do. But I mean they were
- 4:58Speaker 1: the qu quintescent all friend from high school where they
- 5:02Speaker 1: got back together. They went to Paris, they fell in love,
- 5:06Speaker 1: they were getting married. Now they're not getting married. Left
- 5:08Speaker 1: at the altar, like no spoiler alerts. Obviously, the show
- 5:11Speaker 1: has been on for almost twenty years. But you know
- 5:14Speaker 1: Mr Big was always that character that was just you know,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm going to be a big tease, but now I'm
- 5:19Speaker 1: going to fall desperately in love with you. Yeah, I
- 5:21Speaker 1: sort of love this. Well, I think she's saying to
- 5:23Speaker 1: his financially, Carrie couldn't live the life she's living now
- 5:27Speaker 1: without Mr Bigg's money and can pushtionally saying that's might
- 5:32Speaker 1: not be the best idea talking about money though. They
- 5:35Speaker 1: asked the page six did this the New York Post.
- 5:37Speaker 1: They asked her if she was surprised that Sex in
- 5:39Speaker 1: the City is returning to HBO. She said absolutely not.
- 5:43Speaker 1: HBO is going to make money on it and they're
- 5:45Speaker 1: going to quote exploit it as much as they can.
- 5:48Speaker 1: She also went on to say though she hopes it
- 5:50Speaker 1: runs a long time because she gets paid a little
- 5:52Speaker 1: bit of money too from that show as the author
- 5:57Speaker 1: of the column that was then turned into a look
- 6:00Speaker 1: that was then turned into a TV show. She did
- 6:03Speaker 1: say that she doesn't make as much money as people
- 6:06Speaker 1: think she does from the show. But isn't that true
- 6:10Speaker 1: with everything though? Rob Shooter, like they think, you know,
- 6:13Speaker 1: you have private jets and uh, you know, professional assistance
- 6:18Speaker 1: and for me, I live in multiple houses and you know,
- 6:24Speaker 1: you know it's funny. Have you ever done one of
- 6:25Speaker 1: those things? Uh? You do it with your friends where
- 6:28Speaker 1: they'll google how much you make. So I so I've
- 6:33Speaker 1: done it online. I'm very wealthy online like I am.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Rob Shooter. Yeah, I would be like your your sugar Danny,
- 6:41Speaker 1: you want Mr Big one in reality, Mr Big, I
- 6:44Speaker 1: am Mr Big online where I won't leave you at
- 6:46Speaker 1: the altar like that's that's how and that's how rich
- 6:49Speaker 1: I am. According to thank you very much, we'll practice that.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I would have a little look later on. But it
- 6:53Speaker 1: brings us to my poll question of the day. The
- 6:54Speaker 1: Sex and the City creator is saying that Mr Big
- 6:57Speaker 1: isn't worth it? Is she right? Go out on a
- 7:00Speaker 1: Twitter page at naughty Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
- 7:04Speaker 1: you to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Garrett Love,
- 7:07Speaker 1: what are you working on? Well, you know, we're just
- 7:10Speaker 1: talking about weddings and you know, Rob Shooter, if the
- 7:13Speaker 1: time ever comes where you and I get married, we
- 7:16Speaker 1: have to become friends with one of the two Gates
- 7:19Speaker 1: is obviously you know Bill and Melinda. You know they
- 7:22Speaker 1: obviously are divorced, but they did come together for their daughter, Jennifer,
- 7:26Speaker 1: who did get married here in New York. Great reception.
- 7:30Speaker 1: You gotta think mom and Dad paide. You know, it
- 7:33Speaker 1: was the daughter that is the that is the quintessential
- 7:35Speaker 1: thing in a America wedding where the daughter the the
- 7:40Speaker 1: parents of the bride tend to pay for the wedding,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I mean, no matter what whoever they are, it's
- 7:50Speaker 1: the Gates I mean, I mean, and it wasn't just
- 7:53Speaker 1: any type of wedding too. It wasn't like you know
- 7:55Speaker 1: or Dervs and you know a little they had a
- 7:57Speaker 1: little band called cold Place show up. I mean, for
- 8:01Speaker 1: Coldplay to show up, you've got to think that million
- 8:04Speaker 1: a million dollars or a very high donation to challenge
- 8:08Speaker 1: to the charity of Chris Martin and Coldplay's choice, or
- 8:11Speaker 1: the fact that Coldplay might have a number one album
- 8:13Speaker 1: this week thinks because Bill Gates bought a ton of
- 8:16Speaker 1: albums and everybody got it in the gift basket at
- 8:18Speaker 1: the wedding. I mean, it was a private ceremony, uh,
- 8:22Speaker 1: which is which is interesting too because it's a very popular,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you know couple, a very high profile couple, and you
- 8:29Speaker 1: think Bill Gates has has the technology as as well
- 8:32Speaker 1: as Melinda to pretty much just like shut down any
- 8:35Speaker 1: type of air force, you know what I mean, no drones,
- 8:37Speaker 1: like a drone could shoot down another drone that was
- 8:39Speaker 1: trying to take pictures like I'm sure phones were taking
- 8:42Speaker 1: away like it was probably a very high tech security wedding,
- 8:46Speaker 1: so there was no way no one was getting into this,
- 8:48Speaker 1: but Coldplay was there. Uh. Jennifer, she she's an equestrian
- 8:53Speaker 1: and she's currently studying medicine in New York City, so
- 8:57Speaker 1: very smart the letting. I think she actually got married
- 9:00Speaker 1: the night before in a small ceremony and then all
- 9:03Speaker 1: the legal stuff they get out of the way, all
- 9:04Speaker 1: the religious stuff, and then it turns into a big,
- 9:06Speaker 1: big party. So congratul relations to you, Jennifer. Okay, So
- 9:10Speaker 1: Mick Jagger is poking fun at Paul McCartney after Paul
- 9:13Speaker 1: McCartney shade. So this is while some Mick was performing
- 9:19Speaker 1: with the Rolling Stones and there's been a long rivalry
- 9:23Speaker 1: between the two of them, but it was really ignited
- 9:27Speaker 1: a couple of days ago after Paul McCartney was asked
- 9:29Speaker 1: about the Rolling Stones and he called them a blues
- 9:33Speaker 1: cover band. So mc jagger was joking on stage saying,
- 9:38Speaker 1: Paul McCartney's here, he's gonna help us out. He's going
- 9:41Speaker 1: to come up on stage and join us in a
- 9:43Speaker 1: blues cover later. So he's making fun of that. They
- 9:47Speaker 1: have not got a log for a really long time.
- 9:50Speaker 1: In fact, Jagger once told the press that he thought
- 9:53Speaker 1: the Beatles breaking up was a very good idea. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: think this is just so much fun to watch these
- 9:59Speaker 1: two old, super rich, supertality, super famous guys go at
- 10:03Speaker 1: each other because there's no real downside to it. What
- 10:06Speaker 1: do you think it? Does it matter what? One seventy eight,
- 10:09Speaker 1: one seventy nine. I say, you don't want to like
- 10:11Speaker 1: each other at this point? I think I think the
- 10:13Speaker 1: both in on the joke, though, what do you think exactly?
- 10:16Speaker 1: I think it's one of those things where it's like, hey,
- 10:18Speaker 1: let's just play into it, because it's almost like the
- 10:21Speaker 1: h the Matt Damon Jimmy Kimmel feud. As much as
- 10:24Speaker 1: fun as it is, at the end of the day,
- 10:26Speaker 1: we know they don't they don't dislike each other. It's
- 10:28Speaker 1: just fun to poke fun. I mean, just like you
- 10:31Speaker 1: and I we poke fun at each other, you know,
- 10:33Speaker 1: most of the time. And and it's not like we
- 10:35Speaker 1: we hate each other or maybe each or maybe I'm
- 10:39Speaker 1: just not reading the clue, but you can. I ask you,
- 10:41Speaker 1: are you a Beatles fine or a Rolling Stones? Who
- 10:44Speaker 1: would you pick? Ah? I mean, at the end of
- 10:47Speaker 1: the day, the Beatles were the what I believe are
- 10:52Speaker 1: the more universal, popular, the more fun in concert rolling Stone,
- 10:59Speaker 1: he says, I'm to pick the beetles. Talking of music,
- 11:02Speaker 1: what's happening with Adela? Alright? So Adele had quite the
- 11:06Speaker 1: weekend too on the music front. So imagine not putting
- 11:09Speaker 1: out music in over six years, and some might think,
- 11:12Speaker 1: oh my god, that was way too long. What's gonna
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know, her career, what's gonna happen? Adele is doing
- 11:17Speaker 1: just fine. So she released her song easy on Me,
- 11:21Speaker 1: made everybody and their mother cry over the weekend several
- 11:24Speaker 1: times every time you heard it. She broke Spotify's streaming
- 11:28Speaker 1: record for a single day stream for her song, beating
- 11:32Speaker 1: previous holders BTS and Butter, who had twenty point nine
- 11:38Speaker 1: million global streams in a single day. Now here's the thing,
- 11:42Speaker 1: Spotify said, you know what, We're not giving you numbers
- 11:45Speaker 1: just yet because we're still counting. But here's here's what
- 11:48Speaker 1: BTS did. Adele bat so like, wow, I could only
- 11:52Speaker 1: imagine and uh, this is this is what will happen
- 11:55Speaker 1: on the music front, which is kind of interesting. BTS
- 11:58Speaker 1: has an incredible fan wrap of the BTS army. Right,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I could see next week the fighting BTS BTS going.
- 12:07Speaker 1: You know what, We're gonna put butter By BTS back
- 12:10Speaker 1: on the charts and it will be They could do this.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I think recently the Mariah fans for some reason got
- 12:18Speaker 1: together and bought Glitter and make Glitter her album that
- 12:21Speaker 1: didn't do very well many years ago, number one just
- 12:23Speaker 1: for a couple of minutes. But they can sort of
- 12:25Speaker 1: manipulate the formula. It's easier, powerful, but it is easier
- 12:29Speaker 1: to get an album to number one for ten minutes.
- 12:32Speaker 1: There to get twenty point nine million downloads in a day,
- 12:36Speaker 1: it's incredible. A lot of fans you never know the
- 12:39Speaker 1: war is, aren't. Do you like the new single easy
- 12:41Speaker 1: on Me. I've been listening to it. I like it.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't love it. Dare I say that? Oh well, no,
- 12:46Speaker 1: you're you're allowed to about it all. I wish you
- 12:49Speaker 1: had more of a hook. I wish there was more
- 12:50Speaker 1: of a tune to it. No, I think we'll get
- 12:53Speaker 1: more to it. I think we'll they will definitely get
- 12:55Speaker 1: more from the album. And you know, it's kind of
- 12:56Speaker 1: like thinking about think about going in the pool. You
- 12:59Speaker 1: know what I mean, you put your you put your
- 13:01Speaker 1: little toe in at the steps and go, oh, it's
- 13:03Speaker 1: a little cold, but I'll warm up to it. And
- 13:05Speaker 1: then you slowly get in, then you get up to
- 13:08Speaker 1: the you get to the belly button, and then you're like,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna go in. I'm gonna go
- 13:12Speaker 1: under that. I'm up to my maybe ankle in adel
- 13:16Speaker 1: at the moment, but I'm gonna put a little bit
- 13:17Speaker 1: more in the pool today and then quickly before we
- 13:20Speaker 1: go to bright we have some numbers here for the
- 13:22Speaker 1: box office weekend, so it's I think the second weekend,
- 13:24Speaker 1: maybe the third weekend of James Bond, and it's already
- 13:27Speaker 1: in trouble because Halloween Kills literally killed them at the
- 13:31Speaker 1: box office. Halloween Kills got fifty point four million dollars
- 13:35Speaker 1: at the box It's a huge, huge movie. And it's
- 13:38Speaker 1: the season too, you know what I mean. And and
- 13:40Speaker 1: but that still is of course, and to be fair,
- 13:43Speaker 1: there really is no James Bond season. There's a Halloween.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Think a movie as big as that would have more legs.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And so it's now fell behind the previous two Bond films.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So I'm not sure if it's the pandemic or if
- 13:56Speaker 1: it's just not quite what everybody wants. I think the
- 13:59Speaker 1: end might have put a few people off. And then
- 14:01Speaker 1: other theater news to movie news. Ben Affleck and Matt
- 14:04Speaker 1: Damon's new movie bombed. Have you heard? I didn't even
- 14:08Speaker 1: know this movie, The Last Duel bombed With just four
- 14:11Speaker 1: point eight million, Ben and Matt back together. On paper,
- 14:16Speaker 1: that seems like a huge hit. What went wrong? Jennifer
- 14:20Speaker 1: Lopez didn't help promoted enough. I think you're gonna say
- 14:25Speaker 1: Jenny was in it disastrous. The movie cost a hundred
- 14:29Speaker 1: million dollars to make. It's only made about five million.
- 14:32Speaker 1: It's not going to make that hundred back. What what
- 14:34Speaker 1: insiders are saying is that this is a sign the
- 14:38Speaker 1: older audiences are still unsure about returning to the theater.
- 14:42Speaker 1: This movie really trended older. I'm not sure if that's
- 14:45Speaker 1: because then all Matt, I mean, they're not old. No,
- 14:48Speaker 1: it's the story because it's about two people that are
- 14:51Speaker 1: dueling for like the love of their life. It's a
- 14:54Speaker 1: historical epic. I see, Oh that's what. Yeah. So yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: so it's not like, hey, for aaday, now let's go
- 15:00Speaker 1: watch Matt Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and you know
- 15:06Speaker 1: it's it's it's more history than anything else. So it's like, hey,
- 15:11Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quick break and we will be
- 15:13Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the not a good show.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm not sure now if that do. Friend Carrot Vocal, Hey,
- 15:20Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Thank you, Thank you. Lord
- 15:26Speaker 1: des Leone, who is Madonna's daughter, shared some advice from
- 15:29Speaker 1: her mom, and the advice was thinking about what you're
- 15:31Speaker 1: going to leave behind, not about money. Is that good
- 15:34Speaker 1: advice or bad advice? Let's have a look. Percent said
- 15:37Speaker 1: that is good advice. I think that's good advice to
- 15:39Speaker 1: although people that tell you not to worry about money
- 15:42Speaker 1: always have money. Have you noticed with a lot of
- 15:47Speaker 1: or like we were talking about previous you have so
- 15:49Speaker 1: much money you just say I'm not giving you any
- 15:51Speaker 1: of it, bill games, any that money. So I think
- 15:53Speaker 1: it's a good idea, but I gotta say it. I
- 15:56Speaker 1: don't want to be a party pooper, but you've gotta
- 15:58Speaker 1: be able to pay your bills to and I think
- 16:00Speaker 1: Donna do not have to worry about that. Don't forget
- 16:02Speaker 1: to vote on today's poll. Go to our Twitter page
- 16:04Speaker 1: at Naughty Nice Robot. Facebook page is not only goes
- 16:08Speaker 1: A'm we sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Garrett Love, I think it's time for nicest yes yes, yes, yes,
- 16:17Speaker 1: yes yes, And and this actually goes up with what
- 16:20Speaker 1: you've been promoting for the last couple of months or
- 16:23Speaker 1: forward answer about you know, just thinking and believing and
- 16:26Speaker 1: trusting yourself and putting yourself first. And that's what Simone
- 16:29Speaker 1: Bile's actually just said during an Instagram story question and
- 16:34Speaker 1: answer she put out over the weekend. And uh, someone asked,
- 16:38Speaker 1: what marked you the most in your career and she's
- 16:41Speaker 1: been she's been in gymnastics pretty much, and I mean
- 16:46Speaker 1: she's one gold medals, she's been on commercials and what
- 16:49Speaker 1: she said, which is kind of interesting, and we've all
- 16:51Speaker 1: followed along the story because it just happened. She said,
- 16:54Speaker 1: twenty one, having the courage to take care and and
- 16:59Speaker 1: put myself first. As we know, you know, she pulled
- 17:01Speaker 1: out of some events because she said she wasn't in
