  Wisdom that wins. Not every victory is loud.
• 0:15
  Some of the most important wins in life happened quietly,
• 0:18
  through steady choices, disciplined habits, and wisdom
• 0:22
  that does not need attention to prove its value.
• 0:25
  In a world that often celebrates, whoever speaks the
• 0:27
  most reacts the fastest or shows off the loudest.
• 0:31
  God reminds us that real strength is often quieter than
• 0:34
  that. Real strength can look like
• 0:37
  restraint. It can look like diligence.
• 0:40
  It can look like showing up faithfully when no one is
• 0:42
  watching. Proverbs chapter 12, verses 23
• 0:46
  to 24 says a prudent man conceals knowledge, but the
• 0:50
  heart of fools proclaims folly. The hand of the diligent will
• 0:54
  rule, while the slack hand will be put to forced labor.
• 0:58
  That means wisdom is not about showing off what you know.
• 1:01
  It is about knowing how to use what you know.
• 1:04
  And diligence is not just working hard once in a while.
• 1:08
  It is choosing consistency, responsibility, and faithfulness
• 1:12
  over laziness and distraction. Then Judges chapter 3, verse 9
• 1:16
  says, And the Lord raised up judges who saved them out of the
• 1:20
  hand of those who plundered them.
• 1:22
  God used ordinary people in powerful ways.
• 1:26
  They were not all impressive by human standards, and they were
• 1:29
  certainly not perfect, but God raised them up at the right time
• 1:33
  to bring deliverance. That is encouraging because it
• 1:36
  reminds us that God can use willing hearts.
• 1:39
  He can use people who are ready to act, ready to trust Him, and
• 1:42
  ready to stay faithful. Maybe you have been
• 1:45
  underestimating the power of small, obedient choices,
• 1:49
  Studying when you do not feel like it, Staying humble instead
• 1:52
  of showing off, Being responsible with what you have
• 1:55
  been given. Keeping your word, Being
• 1:58
  diligent in prayer. These things may seem ordinary,
• 2:01
  but they are the kind of habits God builds into strength.
• 2:04
  Wisdom wins because it sees beyond the moment.
• 2:08
  Diligence wins because it keeps going when others quit.
• 2:11
  And when both are placed in God's hands, He can use them to
• 2:14
  open doors, strengthen character, and bring help to
• 2:18
  others through your life. You do not need to be flashy to
• 2:21
  be useful. You do not need to know
• 2:23
  everything to be wise. You just need a heart that
• 2:26
  listens to God and a life that keeps showing up faithfully.
• 2:29
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 2:33
  showing me that wisdom and diligence matter more than
• 2:35
  appearances. Help me to be steady, humble,
• 2:39
  and faithful in the things You have placed before me.
• 2:42
  Teach me to use what I know with wisdom and to work with
• 2:45
  consistency and purpose. Raise me up in the ways You
• 2:48
  choose and use my life to bring help, strength and hope to
• 2:51
  others in Jesus name, Amen. What if the most important
• 2:57
  question in your life deserves more than a shallow answer?

  The children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab 18 years.

  But when the children of Israel cried to Yahweh, Yahweh raised

  up a savior for them. Ehud the son of Guerra the

  Benjamite, a left-handed man. The children of Israel sent

  tribute by him to Eglon, the king of Moab.

  Ehud made himself a sword which had two edges, a cubit in

  length, and he wore it under his clothing on his right thigh.

  He offered the tribute to Eglon, king of Moab.

  Now Eglon was a very fat man. When Ehud had finished offering

  the tribute, he sent away the people who carried the tribute,

  but he himself turned back from the stone idols that were by

  Gilgal and said, I have a secret message for you, O king.

  The king said keep silence. All who stood by him left him.

  Ehud came to him and he was sitting by himself alone in the

  cool upper room. Ehud said, I have a message from
• 7:18
  God to you. He arose out of his seat.

  Ehud put out his left hand and took the sword from his right
• 7:25
  thigh and thrust it into his body.
• 7:27
  The handle also went in after the blade and the fat closed on
• 7:30
  the blade for he didn't draw the sword out of his body and it
• 7:34
  came out behind. Then Ehud went out onto the
• 7:37
  porch and shut the doors of the upper room on him and locked
• 7:40
  them. After he had gone, his servants
• 7:42
  came and saw that the doors of the upper room were locked.
• 7:45
  They said surely he is covering his feet in the upper room.
• 7:49
  They waited until they were ashamed, and behold, he didn't
• 7:52
  open the doors of the upper room.

  Therefore they took the key and opened them, and behold, their
• 7:57
  Lord had fallen down dead on the floor.

  Ehud escaped while they waited, passed beyond the stone idols
• 8:03
  and escaped to Sarah. When he had come, he blew a
• 8:06
  trumpet in the Hill Country of Ephraim, and the children of
• 8:09
  Israel went down with him from the Hill Country, and he led
• 8:12
  them. He said to them, Follow me, for
• 8:15
  Yahweh has delivered your enemies, the Moabites, into your
• 8:17
  hand. They followed him and took the
• 8:20
  Fords of the Jordan against the Moabites and didn't allow any
• 8:23
  man to Passover. They struck at that time about
• 8:26
  10,000 men of Moab, every strong man and every man of valor.
• 8:31
  No man escaped, so Moab was subdued that day under the hand
• 8:35
  of Israel. Then the land had rest. 80 years
• 8:38
  after him was Shamgar, the son of an Ath who struck 600 men of
• 8:42
  the Philistines with an ox goad. He also saved Israel.
