- 0:00Speaker 1: From our archives, the Billy Graham classes.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Tonight, I want to turn to John's Gospel, the eighth chapter,
- 0:13Speaker 2: the eighth chapter of John's Gospel, and this passage of scripture,
- 0:21Speaker 2: the thirty second verse, the thirty second verse of the
- 0:25Speaker 2: eighth chapter of John's Gospel. And ye shall know the truth,
- 0:32Speaker 2: and the truth shall make you free. These are the
- 0:37Speaker 2: words of our Lord Jesus Christ. He's having a debate
- 0:41Speaker 2: with some of the religious leaders of his day, and
- 0:44Speaker 2: he said, ye shall know the truth. Now. That word
- 0:46Speaker 2: shall could be translated must. You must know the truth
- 0:52Speaker 2: if you were to be free. Tonight I want to
- 0:56Speaker 2: talk about truth and freedom. We hear a great deal
- 1:01Speaker 2: about both today. You know, there's an old Scottish oath
- 1:06Speaker 2: upon which our American oath is based, and it reads
- 1:09Speaker 2: this way. I pledge before Almighty God, before whom I
- 1:15Speaker 2: will give an answer on the day of judgment, to
- 1:18Speaker 2: tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Jesus said, ye shall know the truth, and the truth
- 1:28Speaker 2: shall make you free. Now in this passage of scripture,
- 1:32Speaker 2: Jesus discussed two personalities. He discussed God on the one hand,
- 1:38Speaker 2: who is truth, and Satan on the other who is
- 1:43Speaker 2: a liar and the offer of lies. Now here's what
- 1:46Speaker 2: Jesus said. He was pretty rough in some of the
- 1:48Speaker 2: things he said. He turned to these religious leaders and
- 1:51Speaker 2: he said, you are of your father, the devil, and
- 1:56Speaker 2: the lust of your father you will do. He's a
- 2:00Speaker 2: murderer from the beginning, and abode not in truth, because
- 2:03Speaker 2: there was no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie,
- 2:06Speaker 2: he speaketh of his own, for he's a liar and
- 2:10Speaker 2: the father of lies. Jesus said that there's the lie
- 2:17Speaker 2: and the truth. And in Second Thessalonians, the second chapter,
- 2:23Speaker 2: we are told that in the latter days of this age,
- 2:26Speaker 2: there will be a system called the lie, and a
- 2:33Speaker 2: great delusion will sweep over the people of that generation.
- 2:37Speaker 2: They will believe a lie and they will reject the truth.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Many people think we're living in that generation. And the
- 2:48Speaker 2: apostle Paul said in the first chapter of Romans that
- 2:51Speaker 2: the people of that day had changed the truth of
- 2:54Speaker 2: God into a lie. And then secondly, not only do
- 2:58Speaker 2: we exchange the truth of God, but Paul said in
- 3:01Speaker 2: Romans the first chapter, in the eighteenth verse, who hold
- 3:04Speaker 2: the truth in unrighteousness? In other words, you can know
- 3:08Speaker 2: the truth and not live it. This is holding the
- 3:14Speaker 2: truth of God in unrighteousness. The Bible says, the wrath
- 3:18Speaker 2: of God is against such people, and that's why Christ
- 3:23Speaker 2: was so bitter in his denunciation of the hypocrites. You
- 3:27Speaker 2: hold the truth intellectually, but you don't live it, Jesus said,
- 3:32Speaker 2: you serve me with your lips, but your heart is
- 3:34Speaker 2: far from me. You can hold the truth in unrighteousness,
- 3:38Speaker 2: and that brings about the wrath of God. And then thirdly,
- 3:42Speaker 2: Paul said, judgment according to truth Romans two two. But
- 3:47Speaker 2: we are sure that the judgment of God is according
- 3:50Speaker 2: to truth. In other words, someday God is going to
- 3:54Speaker 2: judge the world. Yes, there's a day of judgment coming.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Just as certain as I'm standing here, a day of
- 4:02Speaker 2: judgment is coming, and God is going to judge us
- 4:06Speaker 2: according to the truth.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Did we live by the truth? Did we believe the truth?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Did we accept the truth? What was our attitude toward
- 4:16Speaker 3: the truth? Or did we exchange the truth for a lie?
- 4:20Speaker 3: Or did we hold the truth in unrighteousness? God will
- 4:26Speaker 3: hold us accountable. The scripture says Jesus said, you must
- 4:31Speaker 3: know the truth.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'm the truth. We'll make you free now. You know,
- 4:38Speaker 2: that's what philosophy has been doing, and that's what science does,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and that's what we do in psychology and every field
- 4:43Speaker 2: of study and every discipline. We're searching for truth. We're
- 4:47Speaker 2: trying to find what the laws are. We're trying to
- 4:51Speaker 2: find what the truth is. Now, early in childhood, we
- 4:54Speaker 2: soon learned the truth that fire is hot, We learned
- 4:57Speaker 2: that ice is cold, learned that doing wrong makes us
- 5:01Speaker 2: feel guilty and doing good makes us feel good. We
- 5:04Speaker 2: learned that early. You see, all of us really are
- 5:09Speaker 2: on a quest for truth. What is the truth about myself?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Where did I come from? Why in the world did
- 5:17Speaker 2: God ever put us on this planet? If there's a God?
- 5:20Speaker 2: And where are we going? Is there life after death?
- 5:22Speaker 2: I'm searching for answers. All of us are consciously or unconsciously,
- 5:29Speaker 2: we ask ourselves these questions. What is truth? The same
- 5:32Speaker 2: question Pilot asked two thousand years ago. And that's why
- 5:36Speaker 2: a lot of these kids are taking LSD and mind
- 5:39Speaker 2: expansion psychedelic drugs. They're trying to find some experiences that
- 5:45Speaker 2: will lead them into some sort of a spiritual truth. Now,
- 5:49Speaker 2: truth is important in mathematics, it's important in chemistry, it's
- 5:52Speaker 2: important in science, and it's important in the spiritual life.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's important in morality. It's important to fire and the truth.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Jesus said, you shall know the truth. No guess work,
- 6:05Speaker 2: no speculation is allowed in aviation. You can make one
- 6:11Speaker 2: mistake nowadays and make Christ into another plane. You must
- 6:15Speaker 2: know the truth now. Job said, I know my redeemer lives.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The apostle. Paul said, I know in whom I have
- 6:26Speaker 2: believed the apostle. John said, you can know that you're saved.
- 6:36Speaker 2: The Bible teaches that you can know the truth, you
- 6:39Speaker 2: can find the truth, you can believe the truth. But
- 6:42Speaker 2: what is the truth? Every religion and every philosophy may
- 6:46Speaker 2: have some of the truth, but there is one place
- 6:51Speaker 2: you can find all the truth. Where is it? Jesus said,
- 6:59Speaker 2: everyone that is of the truth here if my voice.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Buddhas said, I'm still searching for truth at the end
- 7:07Speaker 2: of his life. But Jesus made this astounding claim. Jesus said,
- 7:16Speaker 2: I am the truth. Jesus said, I am the truth.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I am the embodiment of all truth. And if you're
- 7:33Speaker 2: going to get to Heaven, you've got to believe that,
- 7:36Speaker 2: and you've got to take it by faith. When you say,
- 7:42Speaker 2: anybody that would come along and say I'm the embodiment
- 7:44Speaker 2: of all truth, he must be mentally deranged. He's an
- 7:50Speaker 2: ego maniac. Yes, you can make that. You can make
- 7:54Speaker 2: a case for that. Or maybe Jesus just told a lie.
- 8:00Speaker 2: He knew it wasn't true and he just lied. Yes,
- 8:04Speaker 2: that's one of the options. But suppose he is the truth.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Suppose he is the embodiment of all truth. And you
- 8:19Speaker 2: rejected and exchange the truth for a lie, then you
- 8:28Speaker 2: have made a fatal error for eternity. Now I personally
- 8:35Speaker 2: believe that Jesus is the truth. I believe that he
- 8:39Speaker 2: is the embodiment of all truth. I have accepted that
- 8:42Speaker 2: by faith. And when I took that step and took
- 8:45Speaker 2: that stand, it changed my life. And it's very simple,
- 8:52Speaker 2: and he made it so simple that you can know
- 8:54Speaker 2: the truth that a blind man, a deaf man, a
- 8:58Speaker 2: black man, a yellow man, or red man can come
- 9:01Speaker 2: and know the truth. The educated man can know the truth.
- 9:05Speaker 2: The uneducated can know the truth. I know people that
- 9:07Speaker 2: don't have any education at all, and they know this
- 9:10Speaker 2: truth and it gives them a satisfaction and a joy.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And I know professors at the great universities, and I
- 9:17Speaker 2: know some of the great scientists. They have come and
- 9:20Speaker 2: accepted this as the truth, and bowed in humility before
- 9:24Speaker 2: the Christ back of science, and it's changed their lives. Truth,
- 9:33Speaker 2: but profoundest truth, in simplicity, so that anybody can come
- 9:37Speaker 2: and anybody can believe, even children. Quittier once said, we
- 9:42Speaker 2: search the world for truth. We call the good and
- 9:46Speaker 2: the pure and the beautiful from graving stone and written scroll,
- 9:50Speaker 2: from all the plowed fields of the soul, and weary
- 9:54Speaker 2: seekers of the best, we come back laden from the
- 9:58Speaker 2: quest to find that all the stage is set in
- 10:01Speaker 2: the book our mother's read. It's here Jesus Christ, the
- 10:08Speaker 2: story of Christ. He is the truth. And Jesus said
- 10:12Speaker 2: this in that same chapter, in the twenty fourth verse.
- 10:14Speaker 2: He said, if ye believe not, listen to this. If
- 10:18Speaker 2: you believe not that I am He, you will die
- 10:25Speaker 2: in your sins. If you believe not that I am
- 10:31Speaker 2: the embodiment of all truth, You're gonna die in your sins.
- 10:37Speaker 2: You must come and believe and accept and commit. Yes,
- 10:42Speaker 2: Christ claimed to be ultimate truth, and Jesus told the truth.
- 10:50Speaker 2: He told the truth about sin, where it is the
- 10:53Speaker 2: lust and the greed and the pride, and the hate
- 10:55Speaker 2: and the jealousy and the fighting come from Why does
- 10:59Speaker 2: Why are people hate each other? Why do they fight
- 11:03Speaker 2: and kill? And every generation has a war? We've had
- 11:05Speaker 2: fifty five war since World War II? Why all of this?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Throughout history? The Bible tells us man has a disease
- 11:12Speaker 2: of the heart called sin, For from within out of
- 11:15Speaker 2: the heart of men precede evil thoughts and adulteres and
- 11:18Speaker 2: fornications and murders and thefts, and covetousness and wickedness and
- 11:22Speaker 2: deceit and blasphemy and pride. All of these things come
- 11:26Speaker 2: from within and defile a man. We're suffering from only
- 11:30Speaker 2: one disease in the world. Our problem is not a
- 11:33Speaker 2: race problem. Really, our problem is not a poverty problem.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Our problem is not a war problem. Our problem is
- 11:41Speaker 2: a heart problem. We need to get the heart changed,
- 11:45Speaker 2: the heart transform. That's why Jesus said you must be
- 11:49Speaker 2: born again. You must have a new nature, a new
- 11:52Speaker 2: heart that will be dominated by love. Ah. But we
- 11:57Speaker 2: go out and say we ought to love each other,
- 12:00Speaker 2: and we soon find that we don't have the capacity
- 12:04Speaker 2: to love each other. Where we're going to get it,
- 12:06Speaker 2: we get it from Jesus. You see, the Spirit of
- 12:10Speaker 2: God comes into our heart the moment we receive Christ,
- 12:13Speaker 2: and he begins to produce in your heart love and joy,
- 12:19Speaker 2: and peace, and patience and temperance. All of these fruits
- 12:25Speaker 2: of the spirit are produced supernaturally by the Holy Spirit
- 12:28Speaker 2: when you receive Christ. He told the truth about what
- 12:34Speaker 2: is wrong with the world. And then he told the
- 12:38Speaker 2: truth about our social responsibility, our responsibility to our fellow man.
- 12:42Speaker 2: In the twenty fifth chapter of Matthew, beginning at verse
- 12:45Speaker 2: thirty five, you'll find it. People were hungry, they were sick,
- 12:52Speaker 2: they were tired, they were cold, and they were visited
- 12:56Speaker 2: in prison, and they were visited and they were helped.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I'm at the judgment. Jesus commended them. They said, but Lord,
- 13:05Speaker 2: we didn't know that we visited you. We didn't know
- 13:07Speaker 2: that we fed you. We didn't know that we did
- 13:10Speaker 2: that for you. Jesus said, if you did it under
- 13:12Speaker 2: the least of these, you've done it unto me. And
- 13:17Speaker 2: every time that you give of your time and your
- 13:21Speaker 2: energy and your money to help those in need, you're
- 13:25Speaker 2: helping Jesus. You're giving to him. And then he told
- 13:32Speaker 2: the truth about judgment. He warned us to flee the
- 13:36Speaker 2: wrath of God. Every idle word that men shall speak,
- 13:39Speaker 2: they will give an account in the day of judgment.
- 13:42Speaker 2: He said, there is a judgment coming. He told the
- 13:45Speaker 2: truth about repentance. He said, except you repent, you shall perish.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You say, but how do I repent? You say, Oh God,
- 13:56Speaker 2: I've sinned. I'm willing to change my way of living,
- 14:00Speaker 2: willing to live in a new dimension of life. I'm
- 14:02Speaker 2: willing to follow you and serve you, no matter what
- 14:04Speaker 2: the cost. That's repentance. And Jesus said, if you don't repent,
- 14:08Speaker 2: you're going to perish. He told the truth about that.
- 14:12Speaker 2: He told the truth about conversion. He said, except ye
- 14:15Speaker 2: be converted and become as little children, you cannot enter
- 14:18Speaker 2: the Kingdom of Heaven. Be converted. We're frightened of that
- 14:22Speaker 2: word in religion. We use it in everything else, but
- 14:24Speaker 2: not in religion. Young people want an experience, they want
- 14:32Speaker 2: something that means something. They have their happenings, and they
- 14:35Speaker 2: want to do their thing, and they want to take
- 14:37Speaker 2: their drug, they want their kicks. And in the church
- 14:42Speaker 2: we've stifled out any kind of religious experience. Jesus said,
- 14:46Speaker 2: you need to be converted. I can remember the day
- 14:49Speaker 2: I was converted. I had an experience with God. It
- 14:56Speaker 2: wasn't an emotional experience with me. Some people, it is
- 15:00Speaker 2: nothing wrong with emotion. We've got certainly emotional intellectualism today
- 15:04Speaker 2: on campus. I see these intellects on campus on television,
- 15:09Speaker 2: and boy, they're shouting it up pretty loud for their
- 15:12Speaker 2: cause and what they believe. Now we allow motion for
- 15:19Speaker 2: everything except Christ. If anybody sheds a tear on religion,
- 15:23Speaker 2: they say, too much emotion. And that's one of the
- 15:25Speaker 2: devil's lies, in the devil's tricks. So that we've lost
- 15:28Speaker 2: all feeling in our faith and all joy in our faith,
- 15:32Speaker 2: and all the excitement and the thrill that these early
- 15:35Speaker 2: Christians had. Jesus said, you need to be converted. Now,
- 15:40Speaker 2: the word conversion simply means to change. Turn around. You're
- 15:45Speaker 2: going in one direction on the broad road that leads
- 15:48Speaker 2: to destruction. Turn around and go in the right direction,
- 15:50Speaker 2: go the narrow road that leads to eternal light. That's
- 15:53Speaker 2: what it means conversion, to change, to turn around. Has
- 15:56Speaker 2: that happened to you? Have you changed your way of living?
- 15:59Speaker 2: Have you had an experience with Christ? Do you know him? Personally.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
- 16:07Speaker 2: you free. Now, I know that there are many people
- 16:11Speaker 2: that think they're free already, and they don't know Christ.
- 16:15Speaker 2: They think they know how to live. The Bible says
- 16:17Speaker 2: there is a there's a way outside of Christ that
- 16:21Speaker 2: seems right in demand, it seems the right thing. But
- 16:25Speaker 2: the end is death and judgment. I have a little boy,
- 16:30Speaker 2: and when he was much smaller, three years of age,
- 16:32Speaker 2: we were loaned a boat down in Florida and we
- 16:38Speaker 2: were going down the river and my friend Lee Fisher
- 16:42Speaker 2: was back there trying to get the fishing gear ready,
- 16:45Speaker 2: and I was running the boat and my little boy
- 16:47Speaker 2: and Ned said, Daddy, I want to run this boat.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And I said, no, I don't think you know how
- 16:54Speaker 2: to run it. Oh yes, I know exactly how to
- 16:56Speaker 2: do it, he said, And he pushed my hands out
- 16:58Speaker 2: of the way, so I let him have the wheels,
- 17:00Speaker 2: and he was heading right toward the rocks. You see,
- 17:05Speaker 2: we all say, Lord, we know how to run our lives.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Don't you interfere. We're gonna be all right. We can
- 17:12Speaker 2: handle it. Nothing we can't handle. But Jesus warns us
- 17:17Speaker 2: that you're heading for the rocks. You're in trouble. Emptiness, neurosis,
- 17:22Speaker 2: complexes of various sorts set in, and ultimately the judgment
- 17:28Speaker 2: repent be converted while you can. Now is the accepted time.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Today is the day of salvation. Now, what does the
- 17:41Speaker 2: truth do? It sets you free. Ye shall know the truth,
- 17:44Speaker 2: and the truth shall set you free from what. First
- 17:49Speaker 2: It sets you free. Christ sets you free from the
- 17:52Speaker 2: penalty of sin. Yes, there's a penalty of sin. Now,
- 17:55Speaker 2: we're all sinners. Every one of us are sinner, and
- 17:58Speaker 2: we're all under the penalty of sin, which is death.
- 18:01Speaker 2: The wages of sin is death, the Bible says. Now
- 18:05Speaker 2: death caris with it the idea of separation from God
- 18:09Speaker 2: in this life and in the life to come. The
- 18:13Speaker 2: rich young ruler came to Jesus, and he said, what
- 18:15Speaker 2: must I do to inherit eternal life? He wanted life
- 18:19Speaker 2: here and he wanted life to come because he felt
- 18:22Speaker 2: the deadness of his spirit and the deadness of his soul.
- 18:28Speaker 2: But he wasn't willing to pay the price. There's a
- 18:32Speaker 2: price if you come to Christ. The rich young ruler
- 18:36Speaker 2: tried to bargain with Jesus. He wanted Jesus to law
- 18:40Speaker 2: the flag. He wanted Jesus to change the rules for
- 18:42Speaker 2: him so he could get into the kingdom. But Jesus
- 18:45Speaker 2: will never law the flag. He'll never compromise, he'll never
- 18:48Speaker 2: change the rules. You've got to come to Christ, just
- 18:52Speaker 2: like people did two thousand years ago, if you're ever
- 18:54Speaker 2: to get to Heaven. We live in sophisticated America. We
- 18:59Speaker 2: thought we had all the answers, and look at us
- 19:03Speaker 2: sending a man to the moon with one hand and
- 19:06Speaker 2: building gigantic bombs and rockets with the other to blow
- 19:13Speaker 2: the world to pieces. Campus is torn apart, society being
- 19:22Speaker 2: ripped apart. Now we don't have all the answers, because
- 19:27Speaker 2: you see, we rejected the truth. We rejected Christ. Receive
- 19:33Speaker 2: Christ in your life. Let him come and put the
- 19:36Speaker 2: pieces back together in your life. Forgive your sin and
- 19:41Speaker 2: give you purpose and meaning to your life, and take
- 19:44Speaker 2: the penalty of sin away. There is therefore now no
- 19:47Speaker 2: judgment to them that are in Christ. He removes the penalty. Secondly,
- 19:55Speaker 2: he sets you. He can set you free from the
- 19:57Speaker 2: power of sin. He said, whosoever committed sin is the
- 20:00Speaker 2: servative sin in this chapter. But when you receive Christ,
- 20:06Speaker 2: this power of sin to dominate your life is broken.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Sin shall no longer dominate in your life, said Paul
- 20:14Speaker 2: to the Romans. Sin shall no longer have dominion over you.
- 20:19Speaker 2: You can reckon yourself to be dead to sin, so
- 20:23Speaker 2: that sin may be in your life. You may commit
- 20:25Speaker 2: a sin, but it doesn't dominate you. You don't make
- 20:28Speaker 2: sin a practice in your life. You have power of
- 20:32Speaker 2: a sin, the spirit of God living in you through
- 20:35Speaker 2: a new nature that God gives you. And then thirdly,
- 20:41Speaker 2: He sets us free ultimately from the very presence of sin.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You read the Revelation, the twenty first chapter and the
- 20:48Speaker 2: twenty second chapter, and you will see the most glorious
- 20:51Speaker 2: description of heaven and the future world. And then it
- 20:54Speaker 2: says this. It says, on the outside of this new world,
- 20:58Speaker 2: this utopia that is called Heaven, that God is building
- 21:01Speaker 2: now for those that trust Him. For without other sorcerers,
- 21:05Speaker 2: the hormongers, the murderers, the idolatrous, and whosover loveth and
- 21:11Speaker 2: maketh a lie, all liars, all people that live a lie,
- 21:18Speaker 2: will be on the outside, he said, excluded and banished
- 21:23Speaker 2: from the presence of God. Jesus said, I am the truth.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set
- 21:34Speaker 2: you free. There was an ad in the New York
- 21:39Speaker 2: Times today, a whole page that said, come to life,
- 21:44Speaker 2: great big box car letters, come to life. I'm asking
- 21:48Speaker 2: you tonight to come to life, come to the truth,
- 21:52Speaker 2: to the source of life, to Jesus Christ, the Son
- 21:56Speaker 2: of God. Someday will be removed from the very presence
- 22:02Speaker 2: of sin and the devil in all lies. We shall
- 22:07Speaker 2: overcome someday till then we can have God's life right
- 22:15Speaker 2: here on this earth. We can have a little bit
- 22:17Speaker 2: of heaven. We can be set free from the bondage
- 22:19Speaker 2: of sin and slavery and the devil. Right now, Christ
- 22:24Speaker 2: can set you free. I'm asking you tonight by faith
- 22:28Speaker 2: to receive Him, to receive the truth. Notice I said
- 22:33Speaker 2: by faith, you cannot come with your mind alone, because
- 22:37Speaker 2: your mind was affected by sin. You have to come
- 22:40Speaker 2: like a little child, except you become His children and
- 22:43Speaker 2: be converted, said Jesus. You have to come like a
- 22:46Speaker 2: little child, by simple childlike faith and receiving. And if
- 22:51Speaker 2: you will, he comes into your heart, gives you a
- 22:54Speaker 2: new nature and you can go out and live a
- 22:57Speaker 2: new life. Now it's hard, and it's and it's rough
- 23:00Speaker 2: to follow Christ. I don't want you to come under
- 23:03Speaker 2: any false illusion. But when you make that commitment, you
- 23:09Speaker 2: don't go back into the world and back to your
- 23:11Speaker 2: house and back to your neighborhood to live the Christian
- 23:14Speaker 2: life alone. He goes with you, I'm going to ask
- 23:18Speaker 2: you to come tonight and receive Him openly and publicly.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Every person that he called and then your testimony called publicly.
- 23:25Speaker 2: There was a reason for him. He said, if you're
- 23:28Speaker 2: not willing to acknowledge me before men, I'll not acknowledge
- 23:30Speaker 2: you before my father, which is in heaven. Come publicly.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I'm going to ask you from all over the stadium
- 23:38Speaker 2: to get up out of your seat, hundreds of you,
- 23:40Speaker 2: and come and stand it in front of this platform,
- 23:43Speaker 2: quietly and reverently and say, tonight, I want to receive Christ.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I want the truth. I want the truth to dominate
- 23:50Speaker 2: my life. But you get up and come right now
- 23:53Speaker 2: from all over men, women, young people. God has spoken
- 23:57Speaker 2: to you tonight. You need Christ. You come. We're going
- 23:59Speaker 2: to wait.
- 24:12Speaker 1: As hundreds are responding to mister Graham's invitation to make
- 24:16Speaker 1: a public commitment to Jesus Christ. You can make that

- 24:54Speaker 2: I do not know whether you can see this great
- 24:56Speaker 2: scene here at the Garden in New York or not,
- 25:00Speaker 2: but hundreds of people are coming from all over this
- 25:03Speaker 2: great amphitheater to receive Christ as the Way and the
- 25:08Speaker 2: truth and the life in their hearts. You can make
- 25:12Speaker 2: that same commitment right now in your home where you
- 25:14Speaker 2: are watching by television. God help you to make that
- 25:18Speaker 2: commitment tonight.
