- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Definitely more than just me.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: We're standing in awe with that story you just told us about the 69-year-old in Stewben County that uh I I guess has just been awarded back her kids after three years.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: You know, I have a friend who is a foster mom, but this is in Cleveland, and I I think the one thing that is a recurring theme that at least I've heard from her as being a foster parent is that they the court system usually tries to get the kids back with their biological parents.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Well, that that there's truth to that if assuming that it's not such a mess of a situation.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: So then that takes us to the text from Anna.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: She says, because at first I told you the dad was like, I don't want these kids.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: She forged my signature.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, and she sh virtually um signed up or or went into a a trial with him, but forging his identity as well.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Like the whole thing.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: So what we're really coming down to is and and this is I don't mean this negative.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: This is just what I'm hearing.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: This woman has a large degree of mental health issues that need to get addressed very quickly.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Well, especially when the the doctor, the last time she had a baby was the age of 62.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: The last time she physically had a baby was the age of 62.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Which that just knocks me down too.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: That was baby number 13.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: So these two babies are we not seeing are you not seeing what I'm seeing?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I'm seeing what you're saying.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: We're seeing with the same thing, okay.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: So these two babies that were they were born three years ago, they're babies 14 and 15 for this woman.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: She calls them her blessings.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Of course they are.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, you love kids.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: I appreciate that.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: I think that you know, but become a grandma.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Anyway, she probably is multiple times over now.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Anna says, is it possible the husband just didn't want the babies because he didn't want to deal with all that comes with babies?
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: The guy's gotta be near 69 too.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: He there's no I mean, I'm assuming if she's 69, this guy can't be far off.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, unless she hitched up some 30-year-old.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Then Anna says, then three years later, basically, hey, thanks for raising him.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: We want him back.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: She goes, This was just a thought that popped into my head while you were telling the story.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Look, uh, you know, here's the thing.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: I'm sure she very much has love for the kids.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: I I don't doubt that whatsoever.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Um but at the same time, too, there is an interesting pattern that seems to be in play there.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: And I will never, no, I don't want to say never.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I I'm not one to criticize somebody who is AMA, advanced maternal age.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: But you know how I have criticized this before.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Like when Robert De Niro had a kid at the age of 80.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: You can't be present for that kid.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: There's only a certain amount they're you're gonna be able to be present for.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: My parents are 69, and I see their their health changing.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: I don't care if you're uh you're super healthy, it you're not gonna live forever.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: You you're not doing these kids justice.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Where you have this other family, now I'm getting a little hot about this, where you have this other family, the these foster family, they're in their 40s.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: The guy's an engineer, like they're maybe they couldn't have kids.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Maybe they did have kids too.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: They did.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: They have two biological children.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Maybe they did, but you know, they're two bonus ones.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they wanted more kids, right?
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: So I do think that sixty nine is too old.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: What is this?
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: The Bible?
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: I've never seen anybody buy diapers with social security checks, but this might be the very first.
