- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I thought we had that whole story.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I thought hold the mosquito thing because we'll we'll get everybody's attention on that, because after the rain we're gonna get in the next couple days, I feel like skeeter season's gonna set in on us.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: What happened with this woman with the hand?
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Last I knew she told the cops, she's like, dude, do you see no hand?
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: She actually said hand to God.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't have one.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: And and he goes, uh well, he kept saying, I saw you with your right hand.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: I don't have a right hand, sir.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I just don't have one.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: I can't hold anything with this.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: So ends up getting dismissed in court.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Well, I thought that happened.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: But now Deer Queen decides they're gonna they wanted to celebrate her court win, so they gave her a cake because she has a line of merch that's called hand to God, and the proceeds benefit the Shriner's children's hospitals.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: But that's very nice.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: So they gave her a cake with a cell phone and a limb on it.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: You do.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: And I love that.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: I thought, I mean, it sounds like she has a decent sense of humor.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: But I was afraid you were gonna say for a limited time at Dairy Queen, you can get a cone that you can hold in only one hand.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Which is any cone.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I actually Which is just a funny way to spin it, but I was like, oh, that feels a little awkward.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: What they should do is they should sell this cake nationwide.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: It shouldn't just be just to her.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: I would love to yeah, I would love a limb cake, to be honest with you.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: I had a boob cake once when I was uh turning 16.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: My next So let me explain.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: So it seems a little young for a boob cake.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: You would think, but that's Barb Brown for you.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: So when I was growing up, okay, living at the living on the old patent place up in Williamsville, New York, you can look it up.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, and uh, I mean, what are people gonna do?
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Go to my childhood house, knock on the door, and be like, did Scott live here?
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, a couple doors down, live the Browns.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Now, boy, is this some history.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: So, Barb Barb Brown and my mom, very close friends.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: They'd have coffee all the time.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Good age gap.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Don't get me wrong.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Barb was, you know, a mom of three, and she was younger, and then, you know, there was my mom.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Also, Barb had a shih tzu that my mom adored.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: See, wait, wait, I'd have Betty.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: I want to say one thing about the whole age gap thing.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: I love friendships like that.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: That's like me and my neighbor Diane across the street.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Diane's 72.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm 43.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: We hang out all the time.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, think about that, but you know, decades younger, both of them at the time.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: So, Barb, and of course, you know, she had two daughters and a son and a husband that was an Amherst cop, and then they eventually get divorced because she started sleeping with a pharmacist.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Then they moved into another house.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: No, this is great.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: They moved into another house on the same street further down.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: How do you like that?
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: With the person that she had the affair with?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: And but anyway.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Barb Brown.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Barb was great.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: She was like a walking soap opera at that time and a lot of fun.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: At least my mom was in there.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Well, I was turning 16, and they thought it'd be a good idea to walk in with a boob cake.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: So I've had a lamb cake.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Were there actual nipples on it?
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: God, I'm trying to remember.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Or was it like in like a bikini?
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Uh no, there it was, the boobs are out.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, it is Tata Tuesday, so I can tell that story, but I was also thinking, I have made many of the schlong cakes before.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: And why, you might ask?
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Dog devil cake?
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Because I've had so many girlfriends get married.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: So for the longest time for bachelorette parties, does anyone still do this?
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: For bachelorette parties, we would always do a short I love dog chocolate, please.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: And we and we would always take a Hershey bar and sh this is so this is really not appropriate.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Am I invested to hear where this is going?
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: If you have a kid listening, you might want to turn this down for one second.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: So you make the cake, right?
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: And and great, it's what it is.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: But in in order to make it real, a couple things have to happen.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: And I'll only say one of the two.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: The other one, I guess we'll have to talk about it on the podcast.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: But um, so I would take a Hershey bar and I would take a cheese grater, and I would Oh, I see what shave the chocolate shavings.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly where basketball is.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: This is before the lawnmower was a popular item for men as a grooming tool.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: The manscaped.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Well, plus you just want to make it more fun, I don't know.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I've never met someone that said hairy balls are a fun time.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying
