- 1:52SPEAKER_00: And look at you now.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: What about um hey, there's this um there's this theater in my daughter's city, Fort Collins, Colorado.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: That Sunday mornings they play old cartoons.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Um, and you can come in and buy some cereal and watch cartoons.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: So um and the theater, I think it's called the Lyric, um, is is kind of like your pizza joint.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Uh what's it called again?
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: What's your pizza place called again?
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: I can't remember.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Papa John's, Papa Joe's, Papa John's.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: I can't remember.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Anyway, um, it's like that's our phone number, our phone number is 335 Papa.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: That's good.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: That's good.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Um, but it's it's like your place, which the whole place is like a work of art.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Um anyway, so Sunday mornings you can have cereal.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: And we when we were there visiting her, we had some cereal, we sat down with a bunch of other families, and we watched um Scooby-Doo.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love Scooby-Doo.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: You've I forgot about Scooby-Doo.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Of course.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Because you didn't really think about it.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: You didn't really go home, you didn't really do your homework, the homework I gave you.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: No, you gave me homework.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: You said make a list.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Well, no, I thought I was supposed to make a list.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the last one, I said, think about your cartoons.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Because I don't I think I did.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: I thought about them for a minute and I couldn't, and then I couldn't think of anything.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Yesterday was hard, man.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: I worked so hard.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: I at the end of the day, I drank two glasses of wine.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Then I had a little bit of whiskey, and I was I was just like, man, I couldn't deal with it anymore.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: I was over here trying to help my daughter get ready to move, and I was here till eight o'clock at night, and then I went by work, and then I got home and I was just out of it, man.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And I wasn't thinking about cartoons, I was thinking about um whiskey.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Whiskey, baby.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Whiskey.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: But uh anyway, I'm back over here.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: It's so overwhelming.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: I've got this house, it's full of crap everywhere.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: All these people have lived here over the years that she's been in college, it's full of crap, and I've got it, and no nobody's taking responsibility for this crap.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: I'm getting her crap out, and then there's gonna be about four truckloads of crap that I have to deal with, and I just I'm a little overwhelmed right now.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Anyway, uh, but yeah, I did love Scooby-Doo.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Scooby-Doo would be my favorite and the Flintstones, those are my two favorites.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, do you know what the Flintstones was based off of?
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Uh I think it was I might be wrong, but I thought it was like all in the family.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: The honeymooners.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: The honeymooners, okay.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: That makes sense.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: I knew it was I knew it was some old TV show.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was that was a good show.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know what?
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Uh when I got a little older, I watched a little bit of um The Simpsons now and then, but not too much, just maybe 10 times.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: Well, that's a lot older.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: But okay, so here's the big question.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: And here's, I guess, this is the question for all the fans that we have.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: All time?
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Is this the all-time question for all time?
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: Well, it's it's it's the question kind of in this classic movie from our olden days.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: The biggest question of all time.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: You hit me.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Monsters or the Addams Family?
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: It's really the only question worth asking, honestly.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: I didn't watch either of those.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: I wasn't I wasn't into that stuff.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: God, that makes sense.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Those didn't interest me.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: That's not my I don't like I didn't like it.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: It was dumb, goofy.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: I thought it was goofy TV.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: I didn't like it.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: You what are you what's the right answer?
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: So you so you think that's goofy, but you're you're into the Flintstones?
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: What's the yeah, when I was five, what's the right answer?
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: Monsters are out of the well that's the whole thing, is there's kind of not an answer.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: It's it's more it's it's it's one of those debates that that will probably go on until the end of time.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Like when we move to Mars, I guess, we're still gonna be answering.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: We're still gonna be trying to answer this question.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Now, I guess if I had to pick one, if I had to pick one, it would be the monsters because of the monster mobile.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: Because it was just the coolest car.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: And I've actually seen that car since.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: So I would say if if I had to watch the monsters, if I had to watch one, I would probably watch the monsters.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it you know, it's a it's a big question.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: It's it is a bit, it sounds big.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: It sounds really big.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: It's a question I urge you to think about and consider.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know either one, like I've never seen either one one time.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but it might be the question, like it might be like uh you know you know what I watch though, I remember like Little House on the Prairie, the uh the Sanford and Sun.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Oh Sanford and Sun um awesome.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: The Mary Tyler Moore show.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: Yep, you know, MASH.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: I remember I remember stuff like that, bro.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: The flying nun.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Do you remember that one?
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: You probably don't.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: I didn't see that one.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: No.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Sally Fields.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, TV, man.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: TV's one of those things, you know, it's out there.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: It is, it's still there.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: A lot of people don't know, but it's TV and it's there, and you can talk about it.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you follow me?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: How about the Beverly Hillbillies?
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Did you like that one?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: I didn't that wasn't on my rotation.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: No, it wasn't my rotation.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: Sounds like you didn't have a very creative rotation of I don't know.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: I spent a lot of time, most of my time I spent outside playing outside.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: That was my first words when I my first sentence where I could speak is on a godside.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: That means I want to go outside, but I said as a kid, I got side.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: And I spent a lot of time.
