Hit-and-Run Driver Still at Large | New York City News
A 60-year-old Bronx man, Kitt Hamilton, was struck by a fleeing Ford F-250 pickup truck early on May 31st while crossing E. 183rd Street at Jerome Avenue. The driver didn’t stop—instead sideswiping an FDNY truck outside an EMS station before vanishing. Hamilton was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, but tragically passed away three days later at home. Police are urgently seeking the hit-and-run driver and urge anyone with information to come forward—justice is still possible.
