70 per 80, the 7080 .it section that deepens
• 0:58
the topics discussed on the portal. I'm with
• 1:00
journalist Enzo Mauri, who introduces the current
• 1:04
topic. Good morning, today I'm going to talk
• 1:05
about a successful PC. For the young computer
• 1:08
scientists of the early 80s, the Commodore 64
• 1:11
represented the crowning of a dream. Yet, in
• 1:14
addition to the sleeve, Sir Clive Sinclair had
• 1:16
conceived a home computer for many aspects superior
• 1:19
to the American product, the ZX Spectrum. After
• 1:21
the success, of the previous models ZX80 and
• 1:24
ZX81, first example of cheap home PCs, but without
• 1:28
sound and colors, the genius of Sir Clive Sinclair
• 1:31
started in 1982 the ZX82 or ZX81 Color better
• 1:36
known as ZX Spectrum, a product worthy of respect
• 1:40
by the captivating design sold in millions of
• 1:42
units throughout Europe. Agent ZX Spectrum, this
• 1:46
is your special mission Action Pack. Have fun
• 1:49
with the Supercomputer Sinclair, the fastest
• 1:52
gun in the world, the most beautiful games in
• 1:54
the world! The ZX Spectrum, easily connectable
• 1:57
to the color monitor, had 16K of RAM and 48K
• 2:01
  expandable. Among the various peculiarities,
• 2:03
the device had a real graphic resolution with
• 2:06
8 bright colors and the addition of UDG User
• 2:09
Defined Graphics that allowed the creation of
• 2:12
graphic characters. Emotion, skill, action! Supercomputer
• 2:17
Sinclair! The ZX Spectrum was also equipped with
• 2:26
a keyboard with rubbery buttons. Unfortunately,
• 2:29
the internal membrane, you know, delicate, tended
• 2:31
to wear out quickly. The problem was solved only
• 2:34
later in the version of the PC made by Amstrad.
• 2:37
Jack ports also allowed the connection to a cassette
• 2:41
recorder used as a mass memory. For sure, the
• 2:44
minimum volume, the speed of calculation and
• 2:46
the low price the ZX Spectrum, one of the most
• 2:49
appreciated computers of the 80s. Like many analog
• 2:52
products of the period, the ZX Spectrum also
• 2:55
mounted the Z80 CPU, created in 1976 by Federico
• 3:00
Faggin's Zilog and a valid alternative to the
• 3:02
Intel 8080. The longest CPU Z80 8 -bit, among
• 3:14
its categories, had a speed of 2 .5 MHz, 10 MHz,
• 3:19
equipped with over 6000 transistors, and a clock
• 3:23
speed of 2 .5 MHz, then improved to 20 MHz. Production
• 3:27
ended in 1985, with its inventions, in addition
• 3:31
to those already mentioned, to a computer, such
• 3:33
as the first compact calculator and the three
• 3:36
  -wheeled electric vehicle, little understood
• 3:37
in the mid -1980s, and which cost him the failure
• 3:39
of Sinclair Research, Sir Clive Sinclair can
• 3:43
be defined as a precursor of the 2000s. At the
