- 0:00Speaker 1: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Pharah and Farah.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Here for You, Here for Good. It's going to rain
- 0:07Speaker 2: in the trailer hood.
- 0:08Speaker 3: It does every day, every single day on the West Side,
- 0:11Speaker 3: it does.
- 0:11Speaker 4: It pours, thunders, lightning. I mean it's pretty traumatic.
- 0:14Speaker 5: If you live on the West Side, it pretty much
- 0:16Speaker 5: rains every afternoon this time of year.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's just something to plan on.
- 0:19Speaker 3: I think the Farrell Cats just get thirsty. So it's like,
- 0:23Speaker 3: all right, we'll take care of you.
- 0:25Speaker 2: All right, let's get in a bagans three thanks.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I just want to remind everyone it's back to school
- 0:30Speaker 3: sales tax holiday. It's going on, so if you need
- 0:32Speaker 3: to get something for the kids or even yourself, take
- 0:35Speaker 3: advantage of it. Yesterday I forgot chumle you told me.
- 0:38Speaker 3: You were like, there's no sales tax, Like, go get
- 0:40Speaker 3: with you.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you got a new computer. Congrats.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I know.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Now I'm gonna get our video set up so on
- 0:45Speaker 3: our ninety nine to one WQIK social media we'll be
- 0:49Speaker 3: able to like stream sort of.
- 0:51Speaker 4: It'll be cool.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Yeah, they can give you a tax break on personal
- 0:54Speaker 5: computers or accessories costing up to fifteen hundred bucks, so
- 0:58Speaker 5: that first fifteen hundred dollars the personal computer.
- 1:00Speaker 2: There's a tax break on that, which is awesome and
- 1:03Speaker 2: all that other great stuff.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Yeah, really awesome.
- 1:05Speaker 3: And another cool thing today our Jumbo Shrimp.
- 1:08Speaker 4: They're playing a double header.
- 1:10Speaker 3: They're making up a game, so that's why they're playing
- 1:12Speaker 3: two today, even though it's gonna be hot. So I
- 1:14Speaker 3: hope that our guys are drinking lots of water and
- 1:16Speaker 3: getting taken care of.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Yeah, and if you're watching the game, sit in the
- 1:19Speaker 5: shade a ballpark. Hot dog and a cold beer. Those
- 1:22Speaker 5: are two things that go great together.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Megan.
- 1:24Speaker 5: I was thinking that women, if they really wanted to
- 1:27Speaker 5: attract a man, a fragrance that smelled like beer and
- 1:30Speaker 5: hot dog water drives dudes wild.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Just throwing that out there.
- 1:34Speaker 3: It sounds like the mister Squatch or doctor Squatch like.
- 1:38Speaker 2: So yeah, there you go, very similar.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Salty and sweaty.
- 1:42Speaker 3: This weekend, there's a two day home and healthfare going
- 1:45Speaker 3: on at the Orange Park Mall, live music, over thirty
- 1:49Speaker 3: businesses to help you get a handle on your health.
- 1:51Speaker 3: If that's something that you need to get a handle on,
- 1:54Speaker 3: probably in this room we all need that.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Go check it out.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I'm Megan. That's three things need to know.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It's exciting.
- 2:01Speaker 5: It's Chumley, John, Meghan and Froggy the big Show on
- 2:03Speaker 5: Country ninety nine one WQIK and John actually took a vacation.
- 2:08Speaker 4: He hasn't had a day off in like over a year.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Yeah, it's crazy that dude works so hard and so
- 2:13Speaker 5: he's taken the rest of the week off.
- 2:14Speaker 2: He'll be back this coming Monday.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Ass and what he's gonna do for his vacation, he
- 2:18Speaker 5: says he just plans to lay horizontal and really, ninety
- 2:22Speaker 5: nine to one WQIK and John is out today a
- 2:25Speaker 5: little vacation.
- 2:25Speaker 2: The man deserves it. He'll be back on Monday.
- 2:28Speaker 4: I'm so happy he's taking vacation.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Joby, he needs it. I have bad news, Megan.
- 2:33Speaker 5: What Jacksonville We ranked Florida's least happy major city.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Oh that breaks my heart to hear.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Jacksonville ranked one hundred and twenty fifth nationally. And this
- 2:43Speaker 5: is wallet Hubbs's latest city Happiness analysis, the lowest placement
- 2:48Speaker 5: among the Florida's major cities. Now, the city scored best
- 2:52Speaker 5: Jacksonville in community and environment than it did in emotional
- 2:56Speaker 5: well being, income and employment, which kind of seems unfair.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Considering you know, we have beaches, we.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Have public subs and several hundred places to sit in
- 3:06Speaker 5: traffic and the.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Longest stretch of public.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Beach right, Yeah, we do actually, which is really cool.
- 3:11Speaker 5: That doesn't really cater to tourists as much as like the
- 3:14Speaker 5: rest of the state. So I was surprised to see
- 3:16Speaker 5: that What is the one thing that would immediately make
- 3:19Speaker 5: living in Jacksonville better?
- 3:22Speaker 4: That's a really good question.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Or what hurts Jacksonville happiness most?
- 3:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Wow, what could make it better here? What hurts our happiness?
- 3:33Speaker 5: You know, it's weird because downtown Jacksonville is not really
- 3:36Speaker 5: a destination. The first time you go to a new city,
- 3:38Speaker 5: you either go downtown or uptown to check it out.
- 3:41Speaker 5: In Jacksonville, I've been afraid for my life two times
- 3:44Speaker 5: downtown Jacksonville. I know they're trying to clean it up,
- 3:46Speaker 5: but they move the bus station, which is kind of nice.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just crazy.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I think it's really difficult to get from one of
- 3:55Speaker 3: the sections of Jacksonville to a different one, Like it
- 3:59Speaker 3: takes so long to get across the city. Makes it
- 4:02Speaker 3: really hard to kind of bounce around and have a
- 4:04Speaker 3: good time.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like forty minutes from my house to yours.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Which is crazy to think about without traffic, without traffic,
- 4:11Speaker 5: And yeah, we definitely have a lot of traffic, and
- 4:13Speaker 5: we've certainly noticed that since the pandemic.
- 4:16Speaker 2: But love to know what you guys think.
- 4:17Speaker 5: What's the one thing that would immediately make living in
- 4:20Speaker 5: Jacksonville better?
- 4:20Speaker 2: What do you think? Hurt?
- 4:23Speaker 5: So this one takes us to Lake County Megan. Okay,
- 4:26Speaker 5: two ladies arrested on DUI charges. Here's what happened. The
- 4:30Speaker 5: officer pulled over the first woman. The other woman was
- 4:33Speaker 5: the passenger. The driver in no shape to drive. Police
- 4:36Speaker 5: took her to Lake County jail and made the passenger
- 4:39Speaker 5: get a ride share because she too was unfit to drive.
- 4:42Speaker 2: They moved the car over to the side of the road.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Well, a little while later, this officer pulls over the
- 4:47Speaker 5: same car.
- 4:48Speaker 2: It was the passenger driving.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Oh no, wait, this is the two ladies.
- 4:52Speaker 3: That were principles right of school.
- 4:55Speaker 5: They were both school principles, and so when they pulled
- 4:58Speaker 5: the second lady over, she said, I was just trying
- 5:01Speaker 5: to bail out my friend.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I'm way better.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Oh and by the way, officer and she slurred, we're
- 5:06Speaker 5: both high up in education and my husband's a police officer.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Oh no, those after work margaritas were hitting a little
- 5:12Speaker 3: too hard.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Yeah, it's terrible. So anyway, they both ended up in
- 5:15Speaker 5: the Lake County jail. Not sure if there's still school principles.
- 5:22Speaker 5: DOUBLEQ on vacation. He'll be back Monday. The man needed
- 5:28Speaker 5: a vacation.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah he did. I'm glad he's getting.
- 5:30Speaker 2: It, Megan. Let's get some three things.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Today, the Jumbo Shrimp they're playing at doubleheader, which is
- 5:35Speaker 3: kind of cool. It's going to be a hot day
- 5:37Speaker 3: for that. But they're making up a previously missed game,
- 5:41Speaker 3: so it's cool to get it done.
- 5:43Speaker 4: I guess.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Yeah. I love going to Jumbo Shrimp games. Ballpark, hot
- 5:46Speaker 5: dogs and cold beer in America's pastime.
- 5:49Speaker 2: That's my jam.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the best. Let's talk about St. Simon's Island
- 5:53Speaker 3: up north. Our friends in Georgia, they just wrapped up
- 5:56Speaker 3: a new board walk project. If you want to check
- 5:58Speaker 3: it out, take the family to see it. It's one
- 6:01Speaker 3: thousand feet long.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Now, we have a boardwalk here in Jacksonville that we're
- 6:05Speaker 5: working on currently as well.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Who has the bigger boardwalk we.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Do Our Jacksonville Fishing Pier is thirteen hundred feet.
- 6:13Speaker 4: So we win.
- 6:14Speaker 3: We're still longer and you can tell afore the July
- 6:17Speaker 3: when those fireworks and those aerial shots.
- 6:19Speaker 4: We're the bigger bridge.
- 6:21Speaker 2: We love our Georgia listeners, but we love to beat Georgia.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So it is what it is.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah, we do Jack's Beach PD. This is crazy Chumbley.
- 6:28Speaker 3: There was a huge theft ring that they shut down.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Having a great Wednesday morning so far, it's the big
- 6:35Speaker 5: show on Country ninety nine one WQIK Megan Trailer Hood.
- 6:40Speaker 5: You got us a good trailer hood story today.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we got a new letter sent out to our community.
- 6:45Speaker 3: And you know, our pool hasn't been working since we've
- 6:48Speaker 3: lived there, so almost a year now.
- 6:50Speaker 2: When you say the pool isn't working, what does it
- 6:52Speaker 2: look like?
- 6:53Speaker 3: It looks like a nice new neighborhood pool. There's a
- 6:55Speaker 3: fountain in it. They even put in these like led
- 6:58Speaker 3: lights in this pool.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So it's not green.
- 7:00Speaker 4: No, it's not great. It's crystal blue.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I mean it's not big enough for the thousand trailers
- 7:04Speaker 3: that are set up.
- 7:05Speaker 4: But you know, by the time we get off work,
- 7:07Speaker 4: I should be able.
- 7:08Speaker 6: To use it.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I guess we cannot seem to pass inspection.
- 7:13Speaker 2: For some reason.
- 7:14Speaker 4: There is something so wrong with this pool. The inspector
- 7:17Speaker 4: doesn't even want to come out.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Oh that's terrible.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been time and time again.
- 7:20Speaker 3: And then they send us another notification saying we're sorry
- 7:23Speaker 3: about the pool.
- 7:24Speaker 4: We don't know what's going on.
- 7:25Speaker 3: But by the way, if we catch you speeding, and
- 7:28Speaker 3: they've got these this overlooming idea that everyone's watching each
- 7:33Speaker 3: other and you're being surveilled. If you speed in the
- 7:36Speaker 3: trailer park, if you have a junkie yard, you're gonna
- 7:39Speaker 3: get fined.
- 7:40Speaker 5: It's weird that they can find you in a trailer
- 7:42Speaker 5: park for speeding if there's nobody there with a radar gun.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Have all your cars parked out, because we don't have
- 7:49Speaker 3: any parking, so everyone just parks like a free for all,
- 7:51Speaker 3: like a county fair kind of. You'll get a ticket
- 7:54Speaker 3: a fine for this. But the thing is we live
- 7:56Speaker 3: in a trailer park, I mean a trailer hood. Like
- 7:59Speaker 3: there'sunk everywhere.
- 8:00Speaker 4: I've dunk in my front yard. We don't have any storage.
- 8:03Speaker 3: There's no closets in these trailers, so everything's on.
- 8:06Speaker 4: The front yard.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Uh, now they're going to find you for that. So
- 8:08Speaker 5: what's the alternative? I guess you get a shed or something.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I don't.
- 8:12Speaker 3: We have one shed that is the only no living closets,
- 8:15Speaker 3: but there is a shed.
- 8:16Speaker 4: But yeah, and it's.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Bad enough that if your dog uses the bathroom outside,
- 8:21Speaker 3: people will record you and send you in so you
- 8:23Speaker 3: get fined.
- 8:23Speaker 4: So it's like, what can we do?
- 8:25Speaker 2: It's kind of like living in a neighborhood within HOA,
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah it is.
- 8:29Speaker 4: What are they gonna do next? Outlaw? Our kiddie pools,
- 8:31Speaker 4: I mean, our big pool doesn't work.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Megan's life in the trailerhood, it's always entertaining.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I appreciate that. Hey, we've got your Cody.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Johnson tickets July twenty fifth, Vistar Veterans Memorial Arena. That's
- 8:42Speaker 5: going to be a great show this Saturday night. We
- 8:44Speaker 5: love to hook you up with these tickets. We're looking
- 8:46Speaker 5: for callers nine and ten to play the pop Quiz.
- 8:48Speaker 5: We've got that coming up three eight, eight thirty six
- 8:51Speaker 5: ninety nine. Listening on the Free Big Show Country ninety
- 8:55Speaker 5: nine one WQIK Megan's Music City Minute.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Gavin Adcock's been touring around with Morgan Wallan for quite
- 9:01Speaker 3: a while now, so you know how sometimes artists will
- 9:03Speaker 3: give each other gifts as parting ways and thanks for
- 9:06Speaker 3: being on tour.
- 9:07Speaker 4: With me kind of thing.
- 9:08Speaker 3: He gave Morgan Wallen this bizarre creature. I posted it
- 9:11Speaker 3: on our social media. What is this jump? I was
- 9:14Speaker 3: looking at that. It's kind of kind of like a jackalope.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Have you ever seen those in bars and stuff where
- 9:20Speaker 5: it is a jack rabbit with horns, you know, and
- 9:25Speaker 5: they make it an a taxi dirt, So this is
- 9:26Speaker 5: obviously a taxidermist did this.
- 9:28Speaker 2: But it looks like the back end of a deer.
- 9:32Speaker 4: The tail is like a nose mohawk, and there's what
- 9:36Speaker 4: are those talents?
- 9:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it looks like an eagle talons, and then it's
- 9:40Speaker 5: got bullhorns, not deer horns, and the butt is kind
- 9:44Speaker 5: of a face, and.
- 9:45Speaker 4: It's got like chicken the chicken hands in the front.
- 9:48Speaker 5: I don't even want to tell you where the mouth is.
- 9:51Speaker 5: It's it looks kind of obscene, to be honest. You
- 9:53Speaker 5: got to look at it on our Instagram page. It's hilarious.
- 9:57Speaker 4: It definitely looks like something out of a nightmare. It's terrified,
- 10:00Speaker 4: but also I'm.
- 10:01Speaker 6: Gonna say more friendly party.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I like that. All right, let's get started. We're
- 10:08Speaker 5: gonna ask a question. We're gonna start with you.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Sidara.
- 10:10Speaker 5: You give us the answer, and then Amanda, you're gonna
- 10:13Speaker 5: decide whether it's high or lower.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You guys have played before, correct.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Yes, sir, here we go. Will Ferrell great comedian. He's
- 10:21Speaker 5: got a new show. It's on Netflix. I actually watched
- 10:24Speaker 5: the first episode last night. It's called Hawk. It's about
- 10:26Speaker 5: golf and it's a comedy. It's pretty funny. Will Ferrell.
- 10:30Speaker 5: How old is he?
- 10:31Speaker 2: Sedara?
- 10:31Speaker 7: Sixty two?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Sixty two? Amanda? Is that higher or lower?
- 10:36Speaker 6: I'm gonna say a little lower.
- 10:38Speaker 5: You are actually very close. It's just a little lower.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Will Ferrell is fifty nine. So Amanda, you got that one. Sidaria,
- 10:46Speaker 5: You're still in the game.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Way to go, Amanda.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Okay, Amanda, this question is for you our new Queen
- 10:53Speaker 3: of country, Ella Langley.
- 10:55Speaker 4: How old is miss Langley?
- 10:56Speaker 7: Eight?
- 10:57Speaker 4: Okay? Sedara? Is she older or younger?
- 11:00Speaker 6: Younger?
- 11:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Sindara nailed it on the head. She's twenty seven
- 11:03Speaker 3: years old.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Nine.
- 11:05Speaker 5: You're back in the game. So now we got to
- 11:08Speaker 5: ask a tie breaker. Megan's gonna ask this question. If
- 11:11Speaker 5: you know the answer, just shout your name.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 11:14Speaker 3: We're going back to elementary school with state capitals.
- 11:18Speaker 4: I'll give you a multiple choice.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Okay, the state capital of Connecticut? Is it Bristol or Hartford?
- 11:26Speaker 6: Amanda?
- 11:27Speaker 4: All right, Amanda, what you got?
- 11:29Speaker 2: She got it right, Amanda one, Amanda.
- 11:32Speaker 5: You're going to Cody Johnson this Saturday, Vistar Veterans Memorial Arena.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Who you taking with you?
- 11:37Speaker 4: I'm gonna take the Sunday.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Oh, don't even tell him you won the tickets. Tell
- 11:43Speaker 5: him you bought them, you know, because you were thinking.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Very very smart.
- 11:48Speaker 1: You later, Sindara, thank you so much for playing. Hey,
- 11:52Speaker 1: all right, you take care, Bye bye. Country ninety nine
- 11:56Speaker 1: one WQIK. You're not hearing John this week. He's on
- 11:59Speaker 1: a little thing called a vacation.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The man deserves it.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Yeah, don't bother our friend John. He needs some time off.
- 12:05Speaker 5: And gas prices there up about twenty cents, we learned
- 12:09Speaker 5: yesterday just here in Jacksonville, and you could win a
- 12:12Speaker 5: thousand bucks.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Yeah, we're trying to fill your tank all summer long.
- 12:15Speaker 4: So just listen to us. We'll give you a keyword.
- 12:18Speaker 2: The Great American fill up.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Your next chance to win is coming up in about
- 12:21Speaker 5: an hour at nine am. How many times could you
- 12:25Speaker 5: fill your tank with one thousand dollars? Megan thirteen. I
- 12:27Speaker 5: think yeah for me. The last time I filled up
- 12:29Speaker 5: it was almost eighty.
- 12:30Speaker 3: The Big show Country ninety nine to one WQIK.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And so we have a.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Super speeder is a thing in Clay County. This happened
- 12:37Speaker 5: on Monday. This guy was arrested doing one hundred and
- 12:41Speaker 5: eleven miles per hour in a forty five mile per
- 12:44Speaker 5: hour zone. That's sixty six miles over the speed limit.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Oh that sounds like you're going to jail. Yeah, that's
- 12:50Speaker 5: a little excessive. That's more than running a little late.
- 12:53Speaker 5: It's kind of like attempting to arrive before the appointment
- 12:56Speaker 5: was even scheduled. Yeah, that's super fast. Think about this.
- 13:01Speaker 5: Who is the worst driver? Is it the super speeder,
- 13:04Speaker 5: the tailgat, that person going under the speed limit in
- 13:07Speaker 5: the left lane, the passing lane, or the person who
- 13:10Speaker 5: never uses a turn signal?
- 13:12Speaker 2: I hate all of them, yeah equally.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I mean I come from the West side over here
- 13:17Speaker 3: every day, right and on ten I'm telling you what
- 13:20Speaker 3: those lanes are so messed up all their construction. Yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 3: every day I'm honking, and I'm not a honker. I
- 13:27Speaker 3: honk at people because they almost swipe you.
- 13:29Speaker 5: I want to get a train horn in the truck.
- 13:31Speaker 5: I am a tailgater, but only in the left lane.
- 13:34Speaker 5: It's the passing lane. I don't know if they don't
- 13:36Speaker 5: teach people that in driving school anymore, but it's the
- 13:39Speaker 5: passing lane. If somebody's behind you, doesn't matter if they're speeding.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Your job is to move over and let the person buy.
- 13:45Speaker 5: And if we'd all start using the left lane like
- 13:47Speaker 5: it was intended, I think it would help progress.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Does your tailgating habits? Does that help you to get people?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Well, I'll get behind them.
- 13:55Speaker 5: I'm making hand signals, you know, move over, various other
- 13:58Speaker 5: hand signals, sometimes to give them a little double honk,
- 14:01Speaker 5: and then sometimes I'll lay on the horn, like move over.
- 14:03Speaker 2: See you have road grades a little bit.
- 14:05Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm one of those drivers who is the worst
- 14:12Speaker 8: driver is at that super speeder tailgate left lane camper,
- 14:15Speaker 8: the person who never uses a turn signal.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Love to hear from you. Three eighty eight thirty six
- 14:20Speaker 2: ninety nine.
- 14:20Speaker 7: Day I'm calling about the drivers that get.
- 14:22Speaker 6: On your nerves.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Oh, and there's a list.
- 14:24Speaker 5: The super speeder, the tailgater, the left lane camper, the
- 14:27Speaker 5: person who never uses a turn signal.
- 14:30Speaker 7: Well, actually I agree with the entire list, but there's
- 14:33Speaker 7: two more to add to that list.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Okay, the driver.
- 14:36Speaker 7: That has apparently three days to get to where they're
- 14:38Speaker 7: going and they're in the middle of traffic facts and
- 14:41Speaker 7: then and then the other one is the person anticipates
- 14:45Speaker 7: the light from going from green to yellow to red
- 14:47Speaker 7: and apparently they want to make that red light.
- 14:49Speaker 5: And they slow down when they see the yellow, where
- 14:52Speaker 5: I just speed up and get through it.
- 14:53Speaker 4: That's what you're supposed to do. Tap the roof for
- 14:55Speaker 4: good luck.
- 14:55Speaker 7: They're slowing down. They're slowing down when it's so green
- 14:58Speaker 7: because they think it's going to turn. You let green,
- 15:00Speaker 7: and they want to do the lawful thing by stopping,
- 15:02Speaker 7: Like why why why?
- 15:04Speaker 6: Why?
- 15:04Speaker 3: That'll start making me yell. I'll start yelling out the
- 15:07Speaker 3: windshield thinking they can hear me.
- 15:08Speaker 7: Girl, I will lose my Christianity over these things.
- 15:13Speaker 5: You sound like a good driver. I hope you're in
- 15:15Speaker 5: front of me when I'm on my way home today, me.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Too, Exactly, you're the top of driver. I want let's go,
- 15:19Speaker 7: let's go, let's go.
- 15:20Speaker 2: What's your name, Emily? Emily, thank you so much for colling.
- 15:24Speaker 2: We appreciate you. Listen, You're the best.
- 15:25Speaker 7: Thank you too.
- 15:26Speaker 2: A great day.
- 15:27Speaker 7: Bye.
- 15:28Speaker 2: So many different categories of bad drivers.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Of u QIK Froggy, can you give you some feel.
- 15:33Speaker 9: Good I love this story, so we don't have to
- 15:38Speaker 9: go far. A Florida mom got the kind of birthday
- 15:40Speaker 9: story that nobody can ever really top. Sedley Appalon's car
- 15:45Speaker 9: It went into a pond right, I'll five ninety five,
- 15:47Speaker 9: but a passing driver actually swam out, opened the back
- 15:50Speaker 9: door and pulled her to safety. And then just hours later,
- 15:55Speaker 9: doctors delivered her little baby girl, seven weeks early.
- 15:59Speaker 2: But mommy and daughter are doing well. Sweetest part.
- 16:02Speaker 9: Mama daughter now share the same exact birthday. That's an
- 16:06Speaker 9: incredible reason to celebrate life in our feel good story today.
- 16:09Speaker 2: W QIK John or good buddy on vacation. He deserves it,
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yes he does.
- 16:14Speaker 5: But today we're talking about a super speeder arrested on
- 16:17Speaker 5: Monday going one hundred and eleven miles per hour in
- 16:20Speaker 5: Clay County in a forty five mile per hour zone.
- 16:22Speaker 5: And it really led us into talking about bad drivers.
- 16:25Speaker 5: I prefer a super speeder as opposed to a slow
- 16:28Speaker 5: left lane driver.
- 16:29Speaker 4: And I just want to get rid of all of them.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Who's this, it's John. I have got another category for
- 16:35Speaker 6: you on these bad drivers.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a plague here in Jacksonville.
- 16:39Speaker 6: The idiots that want to stop to make a left
- 16:43Speaker 6: turn or a right turn with no traffic coming, you know,
- 16:47Speaker 6: and they want to stop and make that right hand
- 16:50Speaker 6: turn and all that. They're idiots.
- 16:52Speaker 5: And they do it without the turn signal half the time,
- 16:55Speaker 5: which is hilarious.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, you'll see them start hitting their brakes,
- 16:58Speaker 6: but they just won't, you know. And my thing is,
- 17:01Speaker 6: especially you're on a long roll, you can see a
- 17:04Speaker 6: mile down the road there's nobody coming. Get over in
- 17:07Speaker 6: that left lane, don't stop traffic, make your turn, and
- 17:10Speaker 6: you know, get out of everybody's way. But no, you've
- 17:13Speaker 6: got them people that there's only one way to put them.
- 17:15Speaker 6: They're idiots.
- 17:16Speaker 3: It's about time somebody has said something about this, because
- 17:20Speaker 3: you don't need to be stopping. Roll on through it,
- 17:22Speaker 3: just roll only.
- 17:24Speaker 6: You know. I saw a car the other day that
- 17:27Speaker 6: they come to a complete stop to make a left
- 17:31Speaker 6: hand turn and there was nobody coming that would you know,
- 17:34Speaker 6: have prevented them from just turning.
- 17:36Speaker 4: It's not a stop sign, don't stop.
- 17:38Speaker 6: Yeah, the wheels rolling make it safer for everybody.
- 17:42Speaker 5: Man, I appreciate that call, sir. You have a wonderful day.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Thanks so much for listening.
- 17:45Speaker 6: All right, chel To love the show, you know, Megan, we're.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Getting all these bad driver calls, and we learned today
- 17:50Speaker 5: that Jacksonville ranked as Florida's least happy major city. I
- 17:55Speaker 5: think traffic factors into that lot. QIK, It's the Big Show.
- 17:58Speaker 3: It's got a really cool chance for you to fill
- 18:00Speaker 3: up your.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Gas tank on us.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Yeah, the Great American fill up one thousand dollars.
- 18:04Speaker 2: That's quite a few phillips. Megan.
- 18:06Speaker 5: We figured out my truck about twelve and a half
- 18:08Speaker 5: phillips with a thousand bucks in yours thirteen.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I don't know how you're getting so much better gas
- 18:13Speaker 3: mileage and a Silverado than my Toyota.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I think it's the way you drive.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, I'm not going.
- 18:21Speaker 2: To well you. QIK.

- 19:02Speaker 3: one of the games they have to make up. They're
- 19:04Speaker 3: playing back to back, so it's super hot. Hoping for
- 19:07Speaker 3: a big win on both those games.
- 19:09Speaker 4: Excited about that.

- 19:19Speaker 3: new boardwalk project.
- 19:20Speaker 4: That they've been working on. It's one thousand feet long,
- 19:23Speaker 4: but I just want to throw this out. Here are
- 19:24Speaker 4: fishing pier on Jack's Beach thirteen hundred.
