- 1:04Speaker 3: of Positively three sixty five. Today we're talking about something
- 1:08Speaker 3: that's deceptively simple but profoundly powerful, the importance of showing up.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It's easy to think that success is all about talent, timing,
- 1:20Speaker 3: and who you know, and yes, those things can help,
- 1:25Speaker 3: but often the biggest breakthroughs happened just because someone showed up.
- 1:30Speaker 3: They didn't have all the answers, they weren't sure they
- 1:34Speaker 3: were ready, but they were there and that made all
- 1:37Speaker 3: the difference. But before we dig deeper, here's our trivia
- 1:42Speaker 3: question of the day. Are you ready for it? Here?
- 1:45Speaker 3: It is what famous writer received twelve straight rejections for
- 1:50Speaker 3: her book before it was finally published and went on
- 1:55Speaker 3: to become a global sensation. We will have the answer
- 1:59Speaker 3: when we come back. Hey, they're amazing listeners. Are you

- 3:34Speaker 3: happy reading. Do you know the answer to this week's
- 3:45Speaker 3: trivia question? The question was what famous writer received twelve
- 3:51Speaker 3: straight rejections for her book before it was finally published
- 3:55Speaker 3: and went on to become a global sensation. The answer
- 4:00Speaker 3: A Rowling. That's right. The author of Harry Potter was
- 4:05Speaker 3: turned down by a dozen publishers before a small publishing
- 4:10Speaker 3: house finally took a chance on her story. And today
- 4:14Speaker 3: those books have sold over five hundred million copies worldwide
- 4:19Speaker 3: and inspired movies, theme parks, and a cultural phenomenon. And
- 4:24Speaker 3: it all happened because she didn't give up, and more importantly,
- 4:28Speaker 3: because she kept showing up. Now, you know, showing up
- 4:40Speaker 3: might not sound glamorous. It doesn't always come with applause
- 4:45Speaker 3: or instant success or even clear results. But showing up consistently,
- 4:51Speaker 3: honestly and with intention is the foundation of everything meaningful.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Think about it. Relationships thrive when you show up for people.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Careers grow when you show up and do the work,
- 5:05Speaker 3: even on the days you don't feel inspired. Dreams become reality,
- 5:11Speaker 3: not because of one lucky moment, but because someone kept
- 5:15Speaker 3: showing up when it was hard, boring, or uncertain. It's
- 5:20Speaker 3: not always about being the best. It's about being there,
- 5:24Speaker 3: willing to try, willing to learn, willing to risk looking
- 5:28Speaker 3: foolish or even failing. Because when you show up, you
- 5:32Speaker 3: send a message to the world and to yourself that
- 5:36Speaker 3: you're in the game, that you care, that you are committed,
- 5:41Speaker 3: and that kind of presence it is enough to move mountains.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Here is your reminder. As Woody Allen once said, eighty
- 6:04Speaker 3: percent of success is showing up. No you won't always
- 6:10Speaker 3: feel ready. No you won't always be perfect, but perfection
- 6:15Speaker 3: was never the point. Just show up again and again
- 6:20Speaker 3: and again, because half the battle is simply being there.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You've got this.
