Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football free, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmerman.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographic location.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's a state of being.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: and have talked about a while back by beating the chiefsac putting a strangle hold on the AFC West.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe this isn't exactly a strangle hold on the one seed, but now they have the double tie breaker, whatever you want to call it over the Patriots as far as common opponents.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: But they got that little extra feel goal in at the end, make the better's happy, et cetera, et cetera.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: But the Broncos emerge victorious, act 24, 17, your gut reaction.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: pretty complete game on both sides except for that opening drive touchdown the defense allowed Chad ever since then they adjusted we talked about that on the halftime stream uh... it was a little tenuous at first but the offense was uh... clicking throughout the game my thought bonyx played another solid game uh... new where he was going with the ball the passing off and looked at crisp shon paid and call the good game arja harvey had a breakout type performance i really have very little complaints it was a little extended at the end but
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, when is a win in the Broncos and now have like you said that number one C type record ripped I thank you for the super chat big dog jumping in one of the dear members to say my favorite part of the game was time of possession.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, absolutely, it's the Broncos had the ball where let me find it here time possession 39 minutes three seconds to 20 57.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: I do still think though guys the Broncos allowed too many points in this game.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they were in kind of a prevent for much of the second half, but still like why you allow an an over the top touchdown.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: in the fourth quarter to a backup quarterback.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like that part, but yeah, I mean, Zach, to piggyback off of this time of possession thing, he brings up the Broncos had three scoring drives today, over eight minutes long.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, the full on dagger being that 10 minute drive at the end that culminated in the field goal.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: So we've heard of the four minute offense when you're either trying to protect the lead, you know, and kill the clock type thing.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: we're definitely controlling things today at the line of scrimmage on offense and you got to love that because it also trickled to the run game, RJ Harvey career high 75 rush yards on 17 toes, our point four yards per carry and he got his ninth total touchdown of this other season.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there were so many games in, uh, in the years past where the broadcast went for you not in a lot of games.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: This season, in fact, Chad, when I liked about this game through the air and on the ground, they kept moving the chains.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: They kept converting.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: They kept the Raiders defense on the field again.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: I thought everyone on offense from Sean Payton to Bow Nick's to RJ Harvey.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: They did their job.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't have many complaints from this game.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: Not at all.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: Had one to lick jumping in, what's up, big dog?
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I would agree.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: This is a good word for it.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the super chat brother.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: He says pretty workmen like win.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: Nice to see the Broncos take care of business even if it ended up at one score again.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: I may change for life hashtag LV Las Vegas has never beaten Bonax hashtag one seed.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: But it's also like, I mean, it is cool.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Zach see in Bonax go undefeated against the Raiders because remember, I forget now the number was eight games.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: even Sean Peyton the first season now granted that was Sean and Russ could not snap the street they they were swept by the raiders in 2023 got back on the horse last season with with bonyx and uh now it's four in a row for both the Broncos against the raiders and of course ten straight wins this season.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing the culture shift that Sean Payton has enacted within Barack's country.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: And only a couple of years, Chad.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: I tweeted this the other day, but he took a five and 12 team coming off the Nathaniel Hackett era and he cut a Hall of Fame future Hall of Fame quarterback drafted his own.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: And now he has the Broncos and the driver seat for the number one seed.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: Now officially has the tiebreaker.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: The playoffs can be going through a power field.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: We think about the job that he's done.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: We've all criticized him at points, but
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's doing good.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was workmen like I think Ted is a great way to put it.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: There were some times where I was like, man, you're going to be on the field all that time.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: Baby convert.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, get that tuddy.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: We've got the Dutchest jumping in off the top rope.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, she says, am I wrong to be concerned about our defense?
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Bow and Harvey look good.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think we don't if we don't get it together.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: We will lose to the
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: the cults but a big reason for that.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: Daniel Jones goes down with an Achilles injury and it's not looking good.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: So that's obviously Zach going to shake things up in the AFC South with the Jaguar still keeping, well, I mean, today taking control as far as the lead, but also the Texans who face the Chiefs tonight.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, I'm a little bit nervous about how Leaky the defense has been the last two games.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to lie Zach, how about you?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, definitely.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I brought this up on Twitter earlier.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: I got kind of roasted by saying, where do the elite Broncos defense go?
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't look that on that touchdown drive, which Bowers capped off with a touchdown reception.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_02]: But they did settle in after that.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: Nick Benito got a couple sacks.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: They got a lot of pressure on Gino Smith.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_02]: I know we're all a little bit hanging in Hong over the second half in the fourth quarter and the garbage time.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: But they did adjust your right, though, Michaela.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: I've been worried about this Packers game for a minute if there's one.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: team left on this schedule that could give the Broncos a loss and this winning streak, it is green bay.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Fortunately though, if they do have a lose a game, it would be to a non-conference opponent.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see how they respond in the weeks of Co.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: True that.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: We shall see, but Michaela, love you appreciate you.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I thought, Bo looked really good.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Uncharacteristically, what was it?
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: Three sacks today though?
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know, two of them, I guess all three of them
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: You could argue the first one maybe not, but all three of them was it three sacked one two three yeah of kind of self sacks in that savvy kind of peat manning way one of them if you just like goes to a slide six inches further it's not a sack, but anyway, Jamaal killings a dear member of the coolest team in our community no doubt about it jumping into say 10 in a row let's go and by the way, it's the longest active winning streak for the Broncos since.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: 2012 in Zach, that team had 11 in a row, then they hit the playoffs, got the first round by lost to the Ravens.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: So this 2025 Broncos team, if they can beat the Packers next week, you match the 2012 team and you get that one more against the jags.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: You now have 13 and uh, wasn't that 98?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: Was that the 98 team that won 13?
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to remember exactly the street.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then you'd be talking about that point.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe resting your starters in week 18 against the chargers because you have the playoff seating locked up.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's so exciting to think about and talk about Jamal, the high probability now that the AFC playoffs could go through a power field.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: Again, considering where the Broncos were for a decade and where they are now, it's so exciting.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you for sharing that excitement with us.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt, and yeah, just reminding myself, it was 13 games, 1998.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: So the Broncos could actually break that.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: They could actually snap it, right?
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: So 10, 11 next week, 12 against the jags, if I'm not trying to count any chickens before they've hatched.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so they could tie it on Christmas day if they don't lose between now and then and break it in the season finale if they wanted to.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: If it gets that far, just kind of fun to think about.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: Colin, legend, good to see you big dogs, says this game was just as boring as the last matchup, but for the opposite reason, also the defense was so sloppy today, 11 and 2, baby, let's freaking go.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just really, really streaky, right?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: Colin says defense on a second super has to lock it in against the jacks, can't play down to them.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think it is the, oh, I can double check it here actually, I think it's the Packers up next.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Packers, Broncos Packers next week, then Broncos Jags, but your point remains.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, it's even more so.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: Got to lock it in because this is a, this is a legit top offense that you're going to be facing next week.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: And also a damn good defense with Mike Parsons and some of the other players that they have over there as well.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I don't think the broccas are at this point going to play down to anyone.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: They know the level of competition.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: They know what's in their sights that being the number one seed.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're going to see a damn good football game calling one way or the other.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Scott brings up a point, the defense.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: As a as a unit right is played with a lot of emotion and it's hard to be that up up up every week, especially against a team like the Raiders that just kind of sucks, that's a fair point, but it's now two games in a row, they've been a little bit leaky and especially given up that yardage in the score to the backup quarterback, I didn't like that, but.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: At the end of the day again, is that a lot of it prevent garbage time stuff, so you're not reading too much into it, but Colin, thank you, big dog.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: We got the Doc J.C. in the house with a super chatted deer member saying, hey, Denver Broncos for life, my Bronco boys, what's better than nine in a row, 10 in a row, my priest, yes it is.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: And guys, we can't take it lightly.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's like Sean Peyton brought up, I think it was.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: was it before or after the commander's game, but right around then, just pointing even then, let's say it was eight games.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's like Zack and baseball or basketball, 1340 games in a row, like respect the accomplishment.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: The question is, how much will it serve him in the final analysis?
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think quite well because so many of these have come down to the wire and the Broncos just keep finding ways to prevail.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: This game notwithstanding, even though Zack, it'll go down
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's also how they're finding ways to win overcoming injuries, historical combat on the road, overseas and London at home.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter chat.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: They're not only teaching the league how to win.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: They're teaching themselves and showing themselves that they can win and beat anyone in front of them and that is so important for a team that's reviving their culture as the Broncos are.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: taking care of business every day.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they're doing.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Two saw him fill in the house.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, brother?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: This is afternoon, Chad Zach and Deacon Scott loved the run game.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: Not impressed with the defense.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Green Bay will kill us in the passing game in my opinion.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: Hashtag, welcome.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see, bro.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: We're all kind of a little bit concerned, but I wouldn't be too overly worried about it.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Taylor, why didn't we kick the field goal?
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: Just why?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: Go Dembrancos like the win.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: I like the win, but hate the last 10 points given up.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but again, Zach Garbage time.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to paint as much of
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: I guess optimistic picture is possible, but, you know, garbage time, you don't ever want to read too much into it.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: And that goes for like, if you're offense sucks completely all game long, but then when their opposite defense, you know, goes into prevent all the sudden you put up the artage and you look at the stat line at the end of the game and start trying to flex because your quarterback got the 305 yards or whatever, yeah, it's cool, it still happened, but within the context of the game, not all that impressive.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you got to keep that in mind with this.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm just it's hard for me that the Broncos got this done.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think in fairly convincing fashion.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: You watched the first Raiders game chat and I said it to myself after it was a win, but it felt like a loss.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: It was the opposite to me today.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: It was a closer win based on the scoreboard, but it was closer on the scoreboard than the game would have indicated.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the Broncos were clearly the better team.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: I thought this should have been a blowout.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not too concerned Taylor, but your point is is valid here.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, George.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: This was a great win.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: The team played great Broncos for life and my chase for life hit the thumbs up guys.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: And it was also very interesting to hear how much Sean Peyton loved his game plan against the Raiders in the first matchup.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, the broadcast did a good job of explaining that, not of explaining his act, but revelation, you know, Sean Peyton didn't exactly speak that way.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Following the week 10 game, despite there being a lot of blowback, he probably could have absorbed a lot of what was going at Bonax if he would have fallen on the grenade then.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then like guys, I called a bad game plan.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: My, you know, it's my fault.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: a month later we hear about it.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's whatever, this time though, cruising, commanding win.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Whoa, we've got Chris coming off the top rope as it is tradition that we are so blessed and grateful that he has chosen to, yes, keep going throughout this season and many seasons, actually.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: And as you can see, as formula, it's a $264 massive superchap bro.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the number of wins now times the amount of points scored in the game.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you Chris.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: Love you big dog and the vintage profile pick.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: Keep it rolling strong, bro.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: Let us not forget our history.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: He says can you dig it onto the next one.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Click those little thumbs up.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yes indeed, guys.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: While you're with us, smash the like button.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Smash it.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: Smash it.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: We need you.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you Chris, brother.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: Love you.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Chris, I want to just echo everything Chad said there, thank you so much for your generosity, it's always exciting seeing you and these got reactions not because of the super just because you've been such an integral member like Chad was talking about going back, you know, five years now, so thank you so much for continuing to support us and and revel in these victories with us.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Chris.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: Hope the fans doing great.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Hope the bands do in great big dog.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: Really good to see it tonight.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much, Chris.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, it is on to the next one.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: Trying to make it 11 in a row and tie in the Peyton Manning Broncos of 2012.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: David Youngkin, jumping in a deer member in a superstar scene.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: For the last two weeks, our defense look off.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: A win is a win regardless of how we got it 11 and 2 nice.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, guys.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I felt pretty optimistic about this season.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: I did not see 11 and 2 going in a week 15.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be honest.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like I didn't see it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: And what's crazy Zack is this team could easily be undefeated like the two losses they had were heartbreakers, both of them heartbreakers.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of crazy how this team has just matured and developed this season.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: and man.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: Anything's possible.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: All the parallels act with the 2015 Broncos, the fact that this year's Super Bowl is going to be a Levi Stadium, kind of, kind of spooky.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: And look at the metamorphosis of this season alone, Chad.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: There were games earlier this year where the defense had to fight every single second every down for the Broncos barely to win.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: And now, David, you're talking about the defense looking off and the Broncos are still winning because the offense is pulling their weight.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: The offense is picking up the slack.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: That's excited.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: That means the Broncos have a balanced team.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_02]: That means the Broncos are going to be dangerous in January.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: David, thank you, brother.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: We also have the pop of Bear jumping in on super chat.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, big dog.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: A deer member in a long time, Mount Rushmore superstar says good evening, Broncos country, 13 and 4 plus plus plus plus.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: Man, now it's starting to look like Gali.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: You got four games left.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see two more losses?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these are all from here on Outzack, they're pretty quality opponents.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like even if the Chiefs lose tonight and end up knocking themselves out of the playoffs by the time you get to Christmas and et cetera, they're still a very quality opponent.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: This year kind of a weird outlier for them.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: So let's, he could end up being right on the money.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: I guess is my point.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: We shall see, but thank you, Papa Bear.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you so much David and if they do finish 13 and four or better, we'll be the first ones to trump at that because you've been saying it for months for months, literally for months.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you big dog and also Colin mentioning here.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, remember for two months, thank you, bro.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Our tiebreaker against the pats is hilarious.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it is of all the teams.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're really, that's who it's going to be.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: All right, guys.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: We do have lots, lots more to get to tonight, real quick, though.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, the holidays, they're here.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's all about finding that perfect gift.

- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: We got your mom.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: We got Colin Doc.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: We got David T jumping in.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you're doing okay.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: Big dog.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you tonight.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the super chat.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Chad and Zach.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: Good win.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos will have their hands full against the packers.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: Thank God it's at home.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, the Broncos have now won five straight on the road this season, which is huge for them.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, just taking a quick peek out, I mean, the, we'll do the head to head of course on Thursday, but just taking a quick peek at what the, I guess the Packers, it's still, it's still rolling, but right now Jordan love he's passed for 234 yards and three touchdowns today's act with one pick.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: So you're seeing explosiveness, you're seeing points.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: This defense is going to have to come correct next week.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_02]: They have like 10 receivers who could kill you.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: None more so than Christian Watson, who's one of the fastest players in the league.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: He had a big touchdown grab today.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: They have one of the best running backs in the NFL with Josh Jacobs, a top 10 offensive line, top 10 arguably quarterback, top 15 in Jordan Love.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: They are gonna have a tough matchup on their hands, David.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna be a fight tooth and nail, but the Broncos can play their a plus brand of football.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: We like their chances around here.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, indeed.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Rip tie.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: Are we scared of the packers?
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: At this, he says the only team we should be scared of is the Rams in the Super Bowl.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I won't lie today when I was watching that snow game between the bills and the bangles and the bangles were in control of it for much of the game.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just hard to, you never really have it sewn up against a team like the bills with that quarterback's act and they've seen so much football over the years as this kind of core that they are, you know, there are some teams that could give the Broncos troubles.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: But do I fear him?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: No way.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: Lovelated dishes as hello Chad Zach and Broncos country super happy we won wasn't able to let wasn't able to Watch the game, but caught the highlights.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Love you guys go Broncos images for life next for six.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, once again Zach kind of odd bone next did not get a passing touchdown, but he played very very well
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: finished with, uh, we went 31 to 38.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: So only seven incompletions on the night.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: 212 yards, QB rating of basically 90.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then he threw in, of course, uh, three rushes for 15 yards in that first touchdown to open the game.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: I know a lot of his completions were of the shorter variety, but still going 31 of 38 is impressive, Chad.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: And you saw every time he dropped back, whether it was a 5-yard attempt or a 20-yard attempt, he knew where he was going with the ball.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: There were no nerves.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: There were no indecisiveness.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: There was no lack of confidence.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: He was in full command.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't care.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_02]: I've said this before.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of fans feel the same way.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care what his final numbers look like.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_02]: I care what the Broko's record is and there are one more in the win column now.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: Lady D. Love you again.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Mr. for Jay.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Big dog.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: We saw you on the halftime stream here.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: You are the gut reaction member in the house, sounding off saying, not sure how I feel about this win.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: Don't like how it ended at all.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Defense did an awesome job.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: Most of the game than a fresh quarterback comes in.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: Does some good stuff.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm always like, go Broncos, but we did not end well.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: The one thing I'll say to and you why are you seeing it, but it does seem to be an explanation is that one touchdown at the end by Jackson's act.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Riley Moss thought he was going to have help inside, so he played his leverage outside, gave him that post that inside.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Because he thought Jones was going to drop.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Now was he right?
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like he probably was just based on how.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Even if he was wrong, I mean, someone got someone, someone, there was a miscuse, somehow somewhere.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: And whether that was on moss for getting it wrong or Jones, it explains the broken play, so to speak, nature of that.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not what you want to see in the closing minutes of a game, that's for sure.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: It was just weird defensively to start.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think Javier and started the first snap at safety in place of Brandon Jones.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know what they're tinkering with on defense, but VJ is doing, but I'm also J, and thank you for the super.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sweating garbage time too much.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a little surprised so many fans are up in arms about the fact they give up some points at the end.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's how every game goes when there's a blowout, you kind of take your foot off the pedal.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's indicative of much when the Broncos had to adjust after that first Raiders touchdown they did.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: They were in command on offense all game.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm very comfortable with the performance they showed today.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: Shannon, good to see you also here from the halftime stream to the gut reaction.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: chances, bo look to a lot more confident.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: RJ was great.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Getting apprentice involved.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: This is a good observation was affected.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: The defense has to cover tight ends better and stop with the ridiculous penalties.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't keep track of the penalties too well in this one.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: We can take a quick look at penalties, eight for 50, eight penalties today, 50, one of them was a twice that they, I'm trying to remember if it was a twice that they self-delayed of game on purpose kind of like one of them for sure, but Raiders Zach only three penalties for 25 yards.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: So just when you thought the Broncos were beginning to take steps toward cleaning up the penalties,
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: Last week, five kind of half of what they were used to boom right back to pushing push in the double digits again, and it's just what is it ever going to change.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: You said there were eight penalties the Broncos have in total.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_02]: We did the math on Thursday's head to head there.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: They were averaging a little over eight penalties a game and we both said that could not continue going into the postseason.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: And so it was a good way on both sides of the ball for the most part, but you're right, Shannon, and thank you for the super that penalties have to stop Sean Payton has to get a handle on that.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: Brad Murdock jumping in with the super chat.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: One of the members sounded off saying, way to go, Broncos, closer than it should have been.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Tending a row and counting.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, indeed.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of crazy, man.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think Bronco's country is starting to get to a point where you just expect it now.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: And my how far we have come from wandering the NFL desert to just expecting the team to win.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not that we didn't expect them to win back then, don't get me wrong.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what I mean, realistically, just kind of cruise control.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, it's crazy.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: Ernie, thank you for that super chat.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you big dog, don't be a stranger, and welcome.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't I think that might be the first time I remember seeing you on super chat.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you big dog.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Prentis, we didn't talk too much about it, but Prentis, man, he's become it's hard to call any full back in today's NFL, indelible, indispensable, etc.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: But man, he has become a true asset for this offense.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he has made Michael Burton expendable.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think we could say that, the veteran fullback who shot on Peyton Love to practice, to his place for, within being injured.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen no dip in production.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: I've actually seen more production out of practice, at least as a ball carrier than I ever saw for Michael Burton.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: So they might have got something here, based on what Tom Peyton likes to do.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: a scepter jumping in a newer name and yes look a long time viewer first time super chatter from Oregon see Broncos country not a geographic location time to grab the 10 gallon mamosa and celebrate with all the citizens of Broncos country yeah get after you got you know uh for you it's 423 so you still got you know quarter of a day to get after it for the
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: for the weekend to work begins again tomorrow.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, very nice to have you.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for that first time, Superchap, big dog.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: A Derek can K jump in on Super.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the support, my friend.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: And just became a member.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's go, sing it from the rooftops.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: Derek can K becomes a member on YouTube.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Derek, welcome.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome, Dorf, mailman, awesome, Dorf in the house.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Saw you at halftime.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: Here you are again.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you big dogs.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: Seeing 10 in a row.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: Let's bow.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, M.A.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: H. Much love.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: Much love to you, big dog.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just so excited and happy for Broncos country, man.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody suffered for a long, long time.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: And now finally Zach, the ship has been fully turned around.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: The ship is turned.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: The worm has turned for the better.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like you said, Broncos fans now are squabbling over.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we didn't beat the Raiders by enough points, whereas in past years, they couldn't beat them at all.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it just shows you the level of expectation has been raised, and that's a good thing.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: We should all want the bar to be higher, and it has been because of the coaching job that Sean Payton's done in the quarterbacking job, and the defensive job as well from all the players on that side of the ball.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: and blacks who's always here to party saying big ups to bodacious nicks he's just a winner he really is man he just finds a way makes away i love how he was navigating the pocket today couple again you know i'll have to go back and watch the those sacks but
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: really stoked to see how Bonax has bounced back really from what I think the big turning point game for him was that Raiders match up in week 10.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: And what's crazy is it hasn't resulted since then in some massive explosion of points and touchdowns, the wins have kept coming.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: But Bonax
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: Last week against the commanders this week against the the Raiders again.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: He got a love it.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you big dog zoosmic peek from the top rope jumping in the very face that we matched in the MHH Mount Rushmore with the chisel.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: industrial size.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: This man right here going way back to 2019.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see Zeus in the house.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: Love our Broncos.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: He says seems like Sean Peyton holding back on some offensive offense play calls, saving some great plays for down the stretch.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: And may change possibly.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: It could be, you know, certain games he might feel a little bit more obliged, Zack, to, you know, dig deep.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: But this probably wasn't necessarily one of them.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: Although I will say, again, especially
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone was just feeling it.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: The execution, the run game, phone next, the play action.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm still, I still feel like the outlet passes or a little much at times to where opponents are really being able to key on that.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: The Raiders today, though, they kept giving them up.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: They were just like, yeah, okay, there you go.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there's another one.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, we'll see, but I wanted to see more of Evan Ingraham and back to back weeks, didn't shake out that way.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of my few bones to pick exact for this offensive
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: Well, one of my few nits that I've picked in recent weeks is as used for all the trick plays that Sean Payton has run unsuccessfully.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: I can't recall one today.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: I just like Chad said the offense was in a rhythm.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: They were humming from basically the first play and that's what we want to see quick passes.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: Bone nicks.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: He knows where he's going with the ball playing off play action with Archie Harvey playing well.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe we'll see more from Sean Payton as a play caller in the postseason.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_02]: But I thought today he called a pretty pretty solid game.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Miss for Jay jumping in again, you're not a downer bro.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: He says I apologize didn't mean to be a downer on the game just thought we played so well and then to end it like that just wanted to see us finish or play the full game.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, we're right there with you brother at the top of the show.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: We were kind of picking it's a little bit in the
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the, I don't want to call it defensive collapse.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that, but just kind of the sloppiness, allowing the backup quarterback's act to put it to you like that, given up 10 points in garbage time, but you have to think of this again, Ms. Virginia in case you weren't there at the top in the same way that we don't read too much into, you know, a quarterback going crazy in garbage time and losing effort.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to go crazy over the Broncos defense, giving up some uncharacteristic plays and points in garbage time either.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: They're playing some pre-vent.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was going to say this to a previous comment about how they wanted to make the, they wanted the game to feel more like a blow.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: I felt all game after the first drive of the Raiders for the most part that the Brock was wearing control.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was men versus boys out there.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: There was one team that was clearly superior, clearly dominant, and that was the Broncos.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_02]: So Jay, if you want to judge it from when garbage time started for the Broncos and they started giving up points,
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: after that, forget it.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: But up to that point, they played a dominant game.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: It was clear they were the better team.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it should have been maybe 40 nothing the final.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: But I thought based on the way they played.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_02]: It was never in my mind.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: It was a danger that they were going to come back and win chat.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_02]: The Raiders were after that first drive.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the Broccos were in control after that completely.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: We have a massive Prince fan in the house.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: Joe DePaul
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: Ernie jumping in again.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Ernie.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: I like the rhythm from the offense today.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: It makes it so much easier to fully understand the play call, see the field, then execute the play.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's definitely was one of the big takeaways was the rhythm, right?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: The rhythm, which allowed them to produce, which allowed them to convert, which allowed them to move the chains and then score again.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: Three different scoring drives today's act that went over eight minutes, including that last big one for ten minutes.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you guys, the Raiders, well, the Raiders as we showed you on Thursday night, pretty terrible offense, but their defenses, a plausible defense, even without a lot of talent, they were basically an average NFL defense.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not like these guys were exactly pushovers, and as you could see, man,
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: They fought till the end.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: They always get their down to up because it is divisional.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: It is a rival game.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: It is the Broncos.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say this was their super bowl.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: You can tell they were at home.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_02]: They're trying to avenge the previous loss to the Broncos on Thursday night and they would want nothing more than to spoil the Broncos playoff seating and they couldn't do it.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_02]: So they were up for it.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: It just couldn't get it done.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: And you're right.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: The tempo was better.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought that's because I've noticed maybe I'm wrong.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: The substitutions were a little less this game.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: and an allowed vote next in the offense to not only get in a rhythm, but stay in a rhythm.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: Riptis saying, undefeated till next year, how rad would that be?
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: One score game because of a stupid penalty.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos ram Super Bowl, book market.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: And that would be quite the big game.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that would be an insane game.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: Look at L.A. he says by another Super Chat again, thank you, bro.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: Look at L.A. and next, they're first two years.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know, even Nick's whatever it was was a last week or the year week before saying, you know, I don't want to be compared to L way yet.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm an earned it yet, but man, he's up there already in this in the stat and achievement department with two other quarterbacks who have only been that prolific, let alone that early.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: And that's John L way in Peyton Manning says rooting for the bill's
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure, no doubt about it.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't that Bill's Patriots, I want to say, right?
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not sure.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the game.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll double check it.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think it is.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm right there with you right now.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: And we have to hope that the Patriots lose one and the Broncos keep winning.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: Just to make the number one seed, that much more likely for Denver.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: But thank you for all the superchets.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, big much love and respect dude, and thank you also for being a member.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: Zach, I want to take a second here.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: And, uh, all right, got copy that Scott.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: I want to take a second and let's let's do some studs and duds.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: You ready?
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sir.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: RJ Harvey 17 rushes 75 yards in a tuddy plus he chipped in six receptions for 25.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: So he gave you a hundred yards from scrimmage in a touchdown today.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Everything you drafted him to be stud.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: Jalil as kind of the third running back today, oddly enough, four for 22 average five and a half yards per carry.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: Stud, stud, Adam Prentis out of nowhere, two for 22 on the ground, plus he had a dandy, two catches, one of which was quite dandy for 11 yards.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: Adam Prentis, you're full back.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: They're going the way of the dodo in the NFL, but he was a stud this afternoon.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say stud for Boneyx who went 31 to 38 to 112 yards.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: No touchdowns through the air.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: He did score on the ground and zero interceptions.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of been hovering at 18, 19 scores now for about three weeks.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: So at some point, he's going to have to turn it on and start catching up on the touchdown department.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: But stud, absolutely.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: All right, receivers real quick.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: Cortland Sutton, six for 62, highest targeted Bronco on the day.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: 10 targets, six for 62.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_02]: help keep the chains moving had a really nice catch that was behind him the broadcast talked about it stood.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Pat Brian caught all four of his targets only for 32 yards, but stood.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: Let me flip it one one that might make you think for a second guys.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: Troy Franklin four
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: The hands, man, like we talked about it on the halftime stream, all this howling in the world, but he's good for at least one drop every game.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm tired of hearing about the supposed chemistry.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: He has with Bonix from their time in Oregon.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a vailing him.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see more consistency and reliability from their supposed wide receiver too, Doug today.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: Marvin Mims obviously big stud returns a punt 48 yards.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: He had one catch for five yards and one carry for two on offense.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then defensively Alex singleton leads the way with eight tackles.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: Tallinnol who Fonga had five in the sack department.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: Nick Benito had two.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: Malcolm Roach had one.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: Franklin Myers had one.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: So Zach, do you think the Broncos, did you expect
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: In this game, yeah, I did.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: Considering how many GNOs have been taking every week, we've got nausea, out top in the house.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry if I've been making your way to nausea, I was on another screen going through the number.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: But it's great to see one of the super chat superstars, one of the legends.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, brothers, great win.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: This next four weeks will tell us a lot about this team's ability against better teams going into the playoffs.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: RJ in the run game, Barry encouraging today.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: And in fact, Nage, even though it was kind of like Tyler Badey really what, he ended up still Zach averaging four yards per carry.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: So RJ of course was more the grind mill.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: He finished with 4.4 yards per carry, which is way up.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: from his preceding what was two games as the guy.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: So really stoked for that on Harvey's front.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: And as I mentioned earlier, there's that even jellil average five and a half yards per carry on his four totes.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: So this is the direction you wanted to see this run game show some genuine signs of life in the post JK Dobbins landscape down the stretch.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: And looking against the commander's last week, a bottom 10 rushing defense, the Broncos average collectively under 4 yards of carry.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now you have every running back going over that mark.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a big improvement and I give the Broncos offensive line and the the running backs lot of credit.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Nosh for that super.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely did.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to see you as always.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the support brother going back years going back years and your friendship Brad Murdoch jumping in with a very generous super chat again jumping in.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: He Brad says,
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I just loved how physicalsack and explosive and just twitchy RJ looked, especially early in this game.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: The coolest play he made, it wasn't a touchdown.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: It was that dump off on the outside that he broke a tackle that would have been a three-yard loss, and then moved the chains picked up the yardage.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was the type of play that should have happened for poor Jalil, whatever game that was.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was the chiefs game, but they called him
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't held up that long in this instance, RJ, and he was able to break that tackle, Jamal Adams, and keep going.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: So it's really stoked on RJ.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is a huge takeaway for the Broncos today.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: his change of pace, change of direction, putting one foot and making a cut and going the other way is pretty incredible.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_02]: But we knew that about him.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: Brad, first of all, thank you so much for the big superman.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: We definitely appreciate the support.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: And we also talked about this on the half time stream.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: Remember all the narratives coming out of the draft about RJ Harvey was that at, you know, had his size and his weight.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's too small to
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: play and succeed in the NFL.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think those narratives can be put to bed now.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: He was bouncing off defenders.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: He was taking hits.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_02]: He was running inside.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: He was running outside.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: He can catch.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: He can do it all.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's a future RB1 and I'm so happy the Brock was drafted.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I loved how he just lower that shoulder man and the boom.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: He took a pounding today, but that's kind of life as an RB1, right, in the league.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: And if this is the beginning of the trajectory for RJ, it makes it a lot less likely that the Broncos tried to bring JK Dobbins back next season, but even if this is the tip of the icebergsack and RJ has turned a corner and here we go down the stretch, I still think the Broncos would be wise to bring back JK,
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: Even if it's another one-year deal just because as you see, man, the NFL has, you know, support of a tradition and the season is long and you need as many good, reliable running backs as you can get.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to do the same thing.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: They did with Javante, which is checking in and offer him something and if he takes a great if not, we're going to move on and if they don't offer him anything, they're going to definitely prioritize that position in the draft, but even if they bring him back, Chad, I think the backfield now is RJ Harvey's for the taking.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, some questions about Green Law Green Law had four tackles today, two solo.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: One of them was a TFL.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of a solid, if unspectacular day at the office, Singleton again, as I mentioned earlier, led the team in tackles, shocker, with eight.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I believe that puts Alex Singleton now over triple digit tackles.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: So let's see.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, last year he obviously was robbed.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's over 100.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: He only had three games last year before the ACL.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: He had 95's that going into this game.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: So he's over 100 tackles for the third time in four years as a Bronco.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: And the only time he didn't get over it was of course his injury season.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: God bless Alex Singles and man for what he's been through this season.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: What he's been through in his career coming back from it all.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: Rip die almost time to hate watch the chiefs.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: And if they lose,
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: enjoy it, dude, enjoy it.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_01]: But as I mentioned during the halftime stream, you know, there's depending on what you want to, what's most important to, I guess.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: You can make an argument either way in terms of rooting interests and chiefs, Texans, like, but my personal thing is I want to see the chiefs lose just because I want the comfort of knowing they're even farther out of the
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: playoff race, making that Christmas day game less and less important, et cetera.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: But either way, honestly, this is one of those games relative to the playoff race, either way, it's kind of beneficial to the Broncos, but I'm rooting Texans today.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm I'm going for a Texans blowout tonight.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_02]: I hope CJ Suroud puts the boots to
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: to the members like Pearls in the House.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: We've said hello to David, Todd Austin Dorf.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, his, a good point.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: What a QB class that Bonax was in.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: We managed to get one of the better ones.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: Certainly higher than sixth best in the class.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's for sure.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: Makes you wonder, Zach, if the draft were to be redone, does Bonax last till 12?
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: Probably not, right?
- 42:47[SPEAKER_01]: So you think, I mean, even today, JJ McCarthy,
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: But he did have three touchdowns.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: They blew out their opponent, the Vikings, Caleb Williams.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: Did that game resolve yet?
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't been paying attention.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: But either way, Caleb Williams has had a heck of a year.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: Jaden Daniels already has proven he's good one, healthy.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what happened in that game today, Zach.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't good.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: He did return.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that 2020 for quarterback class.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know similar to me, I think it'll be viewed in a similar way as the 2018 quarterback class is viewed today.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_02]: And unlike that class, the Broncos finally picked a quarterback from their chat.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't bypass the position and Sean Payne took a lot of heat.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: He still gets heat for taking a bone next, but who really cares, look where the Broncos are now.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: Todd, do you think we found our identity?
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's approaching the epiphany of, okay, the question is like that rhythm that you saw today's act and the efficiency and can you duplicate it?
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: Can you sustain it?
- 43:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like the offense I thought,
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: was pretty good last week.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: It was pretty good against the chiefs.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: The only two things you can really pick nits in on the two offensive performances, not counting today was you just wanted to see better efficiency on the ground and you got that today.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I loved it.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: I loved the sustained drives, et cetera.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: I also would have preferred more points like that one they settled for on the field goal.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: The way the second quarter ended Zach, you know, if Troy Franklin doesn't bobble the ball, if he catches that deep shot that he dropped, like those little things add up over the course of a game, let alone a season and it just prevents a unit and offense from achieving its potential.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: So man, I hope that comes together for the offense, like the drops issue,
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: lamenting the fact going into this game's act, the Broncos have the second most drops in the NFL.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: Onto them again today.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: Only at the end of the second half, but haunted them nevertheless.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: Boss man, Jay, whoa, jumping in.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: Off the top rope, a deer member, a superstar.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: We've been chopping it up in an email through a good to see a big dog.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the support.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: Perfect way to collect everything together.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that, but Zach, it was a perfect day.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos won and they reclaimed the number one seed in the AFC, perfect day for sure.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: And boss man showing us that level of generosity, which is incredible.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for that super.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, we're all having fun around here when the Brock has win.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's a one big block party.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: Really good to see a buddy.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: Hope everything's going well.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: You and the misses.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you're your pods doing well.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you pal.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: We also have David T. Coming in again.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: What you called me Lance?
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Zach.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: You called Zach Lance?
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: I missed that.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Did you?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: But either way, you're for God and God, must be a head injury.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: He says, don't, don't, don't even mention it, David.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the super chat support and be in a member dude.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: It means a lot.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know this.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: Chris, par jumping in from Oz from Down Under.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's looking back on this game from tomorrow.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: How crazy is that?
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's tomorrow today.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's weird.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: You wrap your rain around that.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: Chris, par, great game Broncos.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: Harvey, look good today.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he did.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: well over four yards per carry and that's to me the marker I'm watching with RJ because you know the touchdowns are going to come.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, you know, he tied no, or did he tied no Sean Moreno today for the fourth most total touchdowns by Broncos rookie ever Clinton portus owns the record with 17 15 rushing to receiving back in O2.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: So where does that put RJ Zack he would need to basically to tie to tie portus he would need to per game from here on out, which isn't impossible.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen him do it multiple times this season, have two or more touchdowns.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, scepter, again, jumping in, thank you, buddy.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: Our Broncos are number one in the division over the chiefs and chargers.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: Take some time to sit back and think about that.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: Life is good today.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well said, well said, buddy, and how dearly bought it really is where the Broncos are at.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Man, all the blood sweat and tears act all the sacrifice, like really relish where this team is at.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the guys remember three years ago, not even, the Broncos were playing the Rams, the game they got hack-ed fired, and they got blown out in that game.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: And they were getting roasted, if you guys remember, it was a simulcast on Nickelodeon.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_02]: They were getting roasted by Patrick Star during that game.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: And they were as bottom of the basement as you could possibly be.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_02]: Not even three calendar years later, the Broncos are in the driver's seat for the number one seat, and one of the best teams, if not the best team,
- 47:45[SPEAKER_02]: in the NFL.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's crazy where we are now, scepter and life is indeed very good.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the super.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_01]: And as far as the questions like Dylan on Facebook, I love Bob, but if it wasn't for Sean, I don't know what he'd be.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you could argue that with almost any of the great quarterbacks in this era, particularly.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: And even L. way, like how great would L. way have been in the final analysis if he doesn't get Mike Shanahan that talent of his career as his head coach and play caller like, you can you can go in a million directions wrapping yourself into knots.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't buy into that kind of a trope for what it's worth big dog, but Zach, we'll call this the two minute warning.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_01]: We're about out of time here, guys.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: We still have a lot of coverage and content.

- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: Nage again, brother, always, always love it when Nage weighs in on anything.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: Says I thought the game plan today was excellent.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: Short crisp passing mixed with solid run game and we dominated time of possession.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's a winning recipe.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: Come play off time.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: If you can make that your standard operating procedure, boil, boil, you're going to be tough to deal with.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: The defense, once again, you know, really weird kind of day where they were leaky, it just opened the game, giving up a uncharacteristic opening drive possession.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: Touchdown.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then leaky at the end.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: But in between the second, third quarter, dominant, right?
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: But why are you giving up points early?
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you giving up the points in the fourth quarter?
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: But again, the fourth quarter thing.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not reading too much into it because it was Zack garbage time and the Broncos knew they had this game in hand.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, but no, thank you for your second super big dog.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: And if this is a model they can sustain, tough to beat this team.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: and why it works so well is because when you're running those short crisp passes and you're mixing in the running game, you're keeping the chains moving and you're keeping the opposing offense on the field or off the field.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me, and that's pretty pertinent when you're facing Jordan love coming up Trevor Lore and she have herbert, you have my homes.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: Those are pretty for pretty good quarterbacks and like you're saying there, that's the winning recipe.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: We talk about identity.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: That should be
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: These next four games are gonna be crucial.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: All four of them come what may with the chiefs tonight.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: All four of them are against quality opponents.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: So the Broncos metal, METT, Ellie, will absolutely be tested.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: A mile high salute, a special shout out to all the great Super Chat Superstars, supporters, members helping us keep the lights on tonight.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like Nage at the tail end and Blacks, by the way who gifted a membership to.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, brother.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: So much.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: celebrating two months as well.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, pal.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: Ted Wonderlick, Jamal Killing's a dock J.C. Tucson Phil Taylor Christensen, George Fox, the Duchess legend legend and a dear friend.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: David Yunkin, the pop of bear, did I already say Taylor Christensen either way.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_01]: Taylor Christensen, David T, Mistford J, let's see Shannon Mills, David Wilder,
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: Remember for three months, Bo and Harvey were awesome.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_01]: Today I'm impressed.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: Love you, big dog.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_01]: Makayla's got a not so good feeling for the next two, about the next two games.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see, we'll see if the Broncos are gonna lose one more next week is the one to do it because it's a non-conference, but we shall see, we'll talk more about next week as this week, March is ahead.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see, Chris Hernandez, Tippity top rope, super chat of the night,
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: Ernie jumping in multiple times, um, scepter multiple times, Melman Austin Dorf, the lady D, dear friend, Mount Rushmore Superstar, Derek King, yeah, King, King, King, King, King, King, love it, it zoos, so many legends in the room tonight.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: You got to love it.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_01]: Joe on Facebook, uh, let me see.
