- 3:16[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to try to hit everything that I can.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to, you guys know me long-winded.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_03]: I do a lot of explanation on things sometimes too much, but I'm going to try to keep it shorter and sweeter and simpler today so I can get through as many
- 3:33[SPEAKER_03]: the first voicemail today.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just start off with our boy Justin in Jersey.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_04]: Jersey Justin here, chime in in.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_04]: Just listen to your latest podcast with um uh you guys talking about you know Johnny Menzel and uh source B you know where he's gonna land maybe next year on the draft get my pity on that real quick.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_04]: Before I do that, I want to give you guys a huge shout out, especially with Josh for editing Jersey dogs and premiering our song on the show, while you were out in vacation.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_04]: I love everyone in the discord, all it comments, all the feedback, a lot of love and much appreciation for that.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_04]: Now, in terms of Johnny Manzo, you can go kick or ox buddy, like you did nothing for us, you did nothing in the NFL.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_04]: You know, just because you're trying, you know, make comments on something to keep popularity with yourself because you never got to chase your dream and achieve anything like that.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_04]: Don't try to play him off.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_04]: You aren't ever going to be an NFL quarterback and you knew that.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_04]: And in terms of terms of source being next year, I really think we should stay away from next year in the draft also because I think this first year is going to be exciting to try to stay away from the gambling.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_04]: But when is the relapse going to happen or trying to use a different vice, it's going to be, you know, the following year when the stress of being an NFL or trying to be an NFL quarterback kicks in and you relapses.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_04]: So as an organization, I hope we stay away from next year too.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, go Browns.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: Justin, thank you for the voicemail.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_03]: And yes, I hope everybody caught the first episode of the Jersey dogs last month.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_03]: It was a great episode, Justin and Kurt, two of our dog pack members.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: So if you guys want to meet other people in the, I'm telling you that dog pack community is the place to be.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_03]: So Justin, Kurt, two guys and Jersey, many other in the dog pack decided, hey, we'd like to try to do this podcast thing.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_03]: So we gave them an opportunity.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_03]: And they did really well with it.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_03]: So actually, this is the other special episode coming next week.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_03]: Jersey dogs episode two will be coming from Kurt and Justin.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_03]: next week.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_03]: So stay tuned for that guy.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_03]: I know you a lot of people really like that first episode, but to go to what Justin was talking about there, we're not going to, I'm not going to go back on Johnny Man's L thing.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's we've beaten that to death.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_03]: Brennan Soursby, I, I'd still stay away from him next season.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_03]: And it's
- 5:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just because of the gambling thing, and we'll see what comes of the allegations, the case, the investigation, all this stuff.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_03]: There's still a lot to be uncovered with Brennan source being in, you know, for me, that kind of reminds me of like the Sean Watson thing, you know, you had all those, those civil suits, all those cases, cases, all those allegations, and then
- 6:19[SPEAKER_03]: After he was here, it was like 20, 22, 20, 23 new cases were being filed or, you know, new accusers were coming forth and it's like, when is this going to stop?
- 6:31[SPEAKER_03]: So I would stay away from Brendan Sorge to be, but before I'm worried about the gambling thing, the number one thing I'm worried about is the dude's missing an entire year of football, much needed,
- 6:47[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he was talked about as a potential first round prospect in 2027 and the caveat from all of the analysts and draft people saying those things was with a year of development, with a step forward at Texas Tech, like he needed this college football season to solidify himself as a first round prospect, nothing was
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: guaranteed there.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_03]: So missing a whole year football, gambling stuff, forget about it.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_03]: We don't need to worry about Brennan source me.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: Let's, uh, let's see.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go to this next voice mode.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_03]: This one's from Brady.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, dogs podcast, uh, Brady Farrell here from Cincinnati, Ohio.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I wanted to say I've been listening to you guys for a long time and it's really nice to have a, you know, kind of a fan
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: My question is, I know there's been a lot of focus on the QB battle and QB competition, but what do I like a wider receiver competition?
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: I know that KC concepts, you know, and Denzel Boston do different things on the field, but you know, obviously one has to kind of cement themselves as the number one receiving option.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: My question is kind of who do you think is going to emerge?
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: Is that number one target?
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: And how close do you think that race is going to be?
- 8:07[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks and go dogs.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks for the voice, Mel Brady.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_03]: Let me put it this way.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's going to depend on the quarterback.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's going to depend on who is under center and here's why, okay?
- 8:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not trying to use that as like, I don't want to answer the question, because I think one of those two rookies will emerge as your wide receiver one, though, it could be a very similar situation to like the bangles have where you've got your marches and T-Higgins, and yes, your marches is the wide receiver one, but T-Higgins is a wide receiver one type of receiver in his own right.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_03]: He's just second in the pecking order because Chase is that much better.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_03]: If the Sean Watson's the starting quarterback, I think you'll see Casey concepts your own peppered with targets.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_03]: Why?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_03]: Because he's going to be getting more targets closer to the line of scrimmage.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_03]: The Sean Watson can't throw down field.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care what anybody out there thinks or says, his arm, his shoulder, cooked.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think he can do it.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_03]: I guess just a quick side note.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_03]: Because I don't think I mentioned this on the show yet, Mary K. Cabot on Orange Brown talk podcast the other day.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_03]: talked about how the Sean Watson needs to rest during the summer break because it looked like his arm was tailing off a bit throughout the spring programs Zach Jackson talking about how he looks just like he did in 2024 with inconsistencies and inaccuracies and all that kind of stuff.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_03]: And we saw on 2024, he could not throw down field, could not throw down field.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_03]: Anything passed, seven, eight, definitely passed 10 yards, past the line of scrimmage was sailed out of bounds over the receiver said, or it's diving straight into the dirt, five yards at the receiver's feet.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's he cannot throw down field.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that would take Denzel Boston more out of the equation, case he concepts you own would definitely be earning more opportunities early
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: is the starting quarter.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_03]: What does should do or like to do?
- 10:02[SPEAKER_03]: He likes to push the ball down field.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_03]: He really looks for the big play.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's just kind of his play style.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_03]: So I think you could see
- 10:10[SPEAKER_03]: Denzel Boston have a better opportunity to emerge if should or Sanders is the starting quarterback because of the the downfield the sideline the big play the contested catch opportunity prowess that should or Sanders brings to the team.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_03]: So that's kind of my my answer there Brady on that question and we'll see how things go during training camp.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe one of these guys will even emerge here over the month of August last voice.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: Hello fellas, this is Maureen from the DMV area, I am not Brown's fan for any stress of imagination but however, I am a fan of the show, I watch you guys, you know.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: I came over.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm one of the Shidore fans, but I do have a question for you guys.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm wondering, like, with all the reporters out there, you know, that's projecting the worst of Shidore and his future.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: And what he does beyond this year, we know that this year will be, you know, a trial, you know, running for this year for him.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to get to know your guys perspective as far as does all this analytics and stuff matters as and not the eye test light.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: The eye test should matter more than the analytics, right, a football.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_03]: Well, thanks for the voice, Melmar.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: I see there, everybody.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody gripes about the Shedors Sanders fans.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_03]: Right here.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_03]: Mari is a Shedors Sanders fan.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_03]: Seems pretty well.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know, rationalized about this whole situation.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: Mari, let me tell you this here real quick about.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_03]: This should work thing and I'm not going to dive into my explanation about it now because I am currently putting together my notes and stats and analysis for a complete episode coming here in the next few weeks about Shidorah Sanders, just the whole thing is going to be about him about what happened in 2025 as a rookie and why we're optimistic about him going in the 2026 and just to give you the general idea of that episode.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: The eye test showed us that he can play at the NFL level.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_03]: He made some great plays.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_03]: He was visual, I mean, you could see it.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: He was improving on certain things from week to week to week.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_03]: And a lot of the detractors haters will point at some stats that aren't necessarily true.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: Or maybe that's the wrong way to say.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_03]: Stats that don't tell the full story or stats that are a little bit skewed,
- 13:00[SPEAKER_03]: in their favor.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_03]: But if you break down the stats just a little bit differently, which is what I'm going to do on that episode, you will see how those stats when looked at just a little differently.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_03]: Not much, just a little bit.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, speak to what we saw.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_03]: on the field.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I've got that coming up next week.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's going to be great for anybody who's excited or just at least even interested to see what shit or Sanders can do in 2026.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_03]: If you absolutely hate him, you're not going to like that episode.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_03]: You just tell you guys that one right now.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_03]: So thank you again, Marie, for the voicemail.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: So that was uh, I think that's it for my voicemails here today.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_03]: got a couple messages here now from the website.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_03]: This one is from Jack.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_03]: It says dog from down under here in New Zealand wondering pertaining to next year's roster.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_03]: What is the chance of Malachi Corly making the 53 man squad last year?
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: He led all wide receivers and tight ends at rushing yards and he played decently in the kick return game.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm personally high on him, but with love your opinion.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks for the question, Jack.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I put out a short video about this the other day.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_03]: I completely forgot about Malachi Correly in this wide receiver competition we're talking about the top four guys.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: Assuming nobody gets traded.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_03]: Here's your top four guys making the roster.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be Casey.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be Denzel.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be Isaiah Bond.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be Jerry Judy.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_03]: So those four are locked in.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: Badly for the last two spots.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_03]: Let's say they probably keep six receivers.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_03]: You're looking at Cedric Tillman, you know, Gage Larva Danvers here last year.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_03]: Malachi Corley.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_03]: And then Tillin Wallace, who was brought over from Baltimore, kind of more in the return game.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: But I see Malachi Corley maybe having a little bit of a leg up.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: on Tillon Wallace because Tillon Wallace has never contributed hardly anything on the offensive side of the ball.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: It's always only been special teams, Malachi Corley showed last year.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: He can contribute on special teams, but he can also come in and be a gadget guy for your offense and I would personally rather keep Malachi Corley than Tillon Wallace.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see what they just say, I mean, as far as like punt returns and things like that, that's why we'd draft a case against Sepsil because he can do that too.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_03]: Along with being a high profile receiver, he can use really good in the return.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_03]: And Denzel Boston can return.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_03]: They've had a lot of different guys returning kicks and practicing in those positions during the OTAs and many camps.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_03]: So I think they're trying to work that out now ahead of time.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm with you.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: I'm high on Malachi, Coral II, and I think that he could be definitely in this conversation for the Widersever room.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, and this last message from the website is from Jude.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_03]: It says, hello, dogs, podcasts.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: This is Jude from Carlston, South Carolina.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to ask y'all what you think the Brown should do in the draft next year.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_03]: Should we tank, and maybe get archmaning or Jeremiah Smith, or should we try and go for playoff contention, which we might be capable of?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, let's I want to I want to walk back the playoff contention just a little bit.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_03]: I I love your optimism.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, as a Browns fan, I get it.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_03]: I get to that point to where I'm like, hey, listen, I can see a path baby.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_03]: I see it.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_03]: I've said this on prior episodes.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_03]: We've talked about it.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_03]: We need the lower or at least temper.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's the right word.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_03]: Temper our expectations at least for the first part of the season because this roster is young, especially on the offensive side of the ball you're talking, most, it's pretty much essentially a completely new starting 11 with a couple returning guys who will be second year players, okay?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: One year of NFL experience or they're rookie.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_03]: That's pretty much it.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_03]: Other than a couple guys on your offensive line who are veterans, that is it, and they're still all new.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody like the whole offensive line, the chemistry, the rapport, the gelling, like all that stuff has to happen.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_03]: So we need to temper expectations and just understand there's gonna be some mistakes there's gonna be some frustrating moments, especially in those first few games, where these guys are still, I mean, I know we have training camp, we have preseason but until the real true meaningful bullet start flying, we really won't know how this team is gonna perform.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 17:18[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think, first of all, the first party question, should we tank?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: No, absolutely.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_03]: Zero.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_03]: There is no tanking.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_03]: I would never sign on for that.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_03]: You're thrown away a whole season.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_03]: You guys, if you watched all last season, you know, for the show, how frustrated I was.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_03]: All season long after every game, watching them make the same mistakes, the same mental errors, watching the same
- 17:48[SPEAKER_03]: for us trading.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_03]: I can't do 17 freaking weeks of that, just to get to the potential to draft a guy that we don't even know if he's even going to be in the draft next year.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know if he's going to be any good.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: Similar to what I mentioned about Brennan Soresby, like, yeah, people want to pencil in archmanting is like, that's going to be the number one overall pick next year.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's assuming
- 18:14[SPEAKER_03]: He develops and takes a big step forward at Texas this year.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: Because if he's just coming out off the last year's season, I don't know, don't know.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_03]: Jeremiah Smith would be awesome to get, but again,
- 18:28[SPEAKER_03]: If we're going to be picking high in the draft, it's going to come organically.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to be because anybody tried to lose.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_03]: And again, Derek Brown, fancy proes was on the show, last month or whenever it was, and he had a really good rant about tanking.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, we couldn't agree more.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_03]: Me and Justin were like, yep, that's exactly right, man.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_03]: What athlete, especially what professional athlete,
- 18:54[SPEAKER_03]: Especially these young guys trying to make a name for themselves trying to earn their way into that second contract that big NFL money Who's going out on the field saying let's lose let's lose because I want I want this team to get a player who's right now in college Well, I'm sitting here in the NFL earning a paycheck and trying to get a bigger one It makes absolutely zero sense and like Derek pointed out very good point
- 19:21[SPEAKER_03]: a lot with the turnover year to year and you look at the Browns and how many one year contracts we signed every offseason.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_03]: What one year contract player is going to sit here and say, yeah, let's let's lose.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_03]: So this team can get a quarterback next year.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_03]: I might not be here, but let's lose.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go out and play that.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_03]: Not going to happen.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_03]: So taking, taking is definitely not something that we even need to, we even need to discuss.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_03]: So we are
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 19:55[SPEAKER_03]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_03]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_03]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_03]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_03]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_03]: So if you think the public is wrong, like everybody's overreacting to these smoke screens in the draft or sleeping on a prospect, you can literally take the other side of the market.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_03]: And it's not just sports either.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_03]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_03]: It works like this.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_03]: Simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.

- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: And now let's shift over here.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna start with the comment questions from YouTube.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: First one from not Darrell says, I'm concerned about cornerback death.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_03]: Is there a cornerback that plays best outside the hashes who you're hoping AB can trade for?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_03]: Or would be available during roster cut downs?
- 21:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not real familiar with cornerbacks who would be
- 21:57[SPEAKER_03]: trade targets, trade, trade, trade eligible is what I want to say.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_03]: You know, guys that are maybe on the final year of their deal with a team and they could be looking to move on, we could capitalize.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have an answer to that right now.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't done a full breakdown on the position, but let me just go to your first comment.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm concerned about cornerback death too, man.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, for real.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_03]: We've got two of the best, like our starting two, they outside guys with Denzel Warden Tyson Campbell.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's one of the better duos in the entire league.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously Denzel Warden came at number seven on the NFL's top 10 quarterback list could have been at the number four spot.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_03]: He's he is a stud.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_03]: He's a stud.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_03]: Tyson Campbell showed last year.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: He's really good too.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_03]: After that, when Miles Harden is your quarterback three,
- 22:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that definitely concerns me, man.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_03]: I'm with you, but I'm watching during training camp just for you to also pay attention.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_03]: Nate Evans, UDFA signed out a Delaware and Michael Coates Jr., UDFA signed out a West Virginia.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_03]: Those are two young players that flashed had some positive momentum, positive reporting about them coming out of OTAs and many camp and I want to see how they do during training camp
- 23:17[SPEAKER_03]: They could be like a Ronnie, Ronnie Hickman was a UDFA, you know, worked his way into being a good starting free safety for the Cleveland Browns.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_03]: My hope is that one of those two guys can do the same.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_03]: All right, next, this is from informed and blessed 520 says if the Browns decide to only keep three quarterbacks on the active roster, who will be sent to the practice squad or traded, Dylan Gabriel?
- 23:45[SPEAKER_03]: Christopher Nye, 553 says will the Brown come play for the Browns?
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_03]: But he will come play for the caps.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_03]: I firmly believe that.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_03]: And then just luck 990 says do you guys think with the new additions to the offensive line up front and the new additions to the wide receiver position as well as the tight end position that with either quarterback.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_03]: Will the passing game get over 3000 yards for the season and do you think the ground game can get over 1800 yards this season?
- 24:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I went back and I looked last year.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: There were only six teams in the NFL who did not get over 3,000 yards passing as a team, and it was the Ravens Raiders Vikings Titans Jets, and of course the Browns.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_03]: So, that one right there.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I firmly, especially like a guy, if Shidorah Sanders starts the entire season,
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: Second year with what we saw last year, 1400 yards just in seven starts as a rookie with nothing around him.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think 3000 yards is easy.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think we definitely get over the 3000 yard threshold for passing as a team.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_03]: Now rushing, 1800 yards.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_03]: So if you sort by that, how many teams were under 1800 yards, seven?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_03]: And we were one of them last year.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_03]: I definitely think we can get over 1800 yards right I think there's that one to me is definitely like I would
- 25:12[SPEAKER_03]: be more 100% positive.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_03]: That one's going to happen.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_03]: Then I would the 3000 yards passing just because Todd Munkin and this brown staff is built for the run game.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_03]: You've got Baltimore's run game coordinator as our offensive coordinator now.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: We brought over George Warhop, the offensive line coach from over there.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_03]: There's a couple other like run games specialist that were signed to our staff.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_03]: I can't remember exactly the positions now I've taught my head, but they built this.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_03]: staff.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_03]: They built this offensive line with the intention of being a good running game, and that helps open up the past, but I do think 1800 yards, I think we get past, I think we get past both these numbers on offense in 2026.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_03]: So thank you guys on YouTube for your questions.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_03]: All right, let's shift over here to the Facebook comments.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just going to scroll through.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think the Brown, this is from Sean, says, what do you think the Browns will do with rookie quarterback tail and green to the draft him for short plays in short, or plays in short yardage in the red zone or did they just draft him as a developmental QB?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_03]: I've talked about this and the less I am, you guys need to help me out with this too.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: Am I missing something?
- 26:29[SPEAKER_03]: in order for tail and green to be used in online packages and special situations and things plays designed specifically for him.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: He has to be on the active game day roster.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_03]: I've talked about this a bunch and no one has told me I'm missing anything.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_03]: I still feel like am I missing something here because typically not just the Browns what all NFL teams will do.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_03]: You take your
- 26:58[SPEAKER_03]: Those are your two quarterbacks who are active on game day.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: Remember, you have a 53 man active roster for the season.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_03]: 53 players on your active roster.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_03]: Every game you get 48, only 48 out of those 53 can be active each game.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_03]: So if you make tail and green active, first of all, he's not gonna be your starting quarterback.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: He's not gonna be your QB2.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_03]: So, are you going to make a third quarterback active on game day?
- 27:34[SPEAKER_03]: Who's maybe going to come into the game two or three times, max?
- 27:39[SPEAKER_03]: And by doing so, that means you have one fewer offensive linemen, defensive back, defensive linemen, receiver, you got one,
- 27:51[SPEAKER_03]: fewer player at another position that can contribute on special teams multiple times during the game or come in as a depth piece if a guy gets injured, you would be taking away a depth piece somewhere else just to have a guy come in for a couple plays in the game.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying they won't do that.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_03]: I just feel like the likelihood is much more
- 28:13[SPEAKER_03]: that he will be the emergency quarterback, which means the emergency quarterback can only play if QB1 and QB2 are both out with an injury is the only way.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_03]: So if Tailing Greene's the emergency quarterback, he can't come in on any packages because that's not how that works.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_03]: So very good question, I am, I'm very interested to see what they do with tail and green because like you guys, I really know how they're going to, how they're going to do this, but I definitely think developmental quarterback, yeah, he's here at least to develop and we'll see how his career shakes out.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we got David on Facebook says, let's say the Browns do well this year with Shidorah Sanders on her center.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: What positions and or players, would you like the Browns to target with their two first round picks next year, corner and edge for me?
- 29:05[SPEAKER_03]: I know a lot of people are going to say, oh, man, go get Jeremiah Smith guys.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm, if should door plays well this year and he plays the whole season, we're not going to be in any sort of top five pick position to draft Jeremiah Smith.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to probably two, three, one.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, depends on how the quarterback situation shakes out for this class, but he will be the first player, non-corder back selected in the 2027 class with two first
- 29:36[SPEAKER_03]: I would definitely, we'll see how the season goes, but they're going to need to take a corner back.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_03]: We got to get a top talent, a first round talent, a corner, and we're going to need another edge russure, because Alex Wright is good, but he's kind of just a guy, I don't mean to say that in a mean way, just is what it is, and deals with injuries during his career.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_03]: Jared versus a high level player, but I need somebody else on that defensive line to another young guy that we can grow and develop and that's just how teams tell teams win.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_03]: You're good on the offensive line.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_03]: You're good on the defensive line.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: So those are the two positions.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_03]: I would be looking at with those two first round picks next year.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: Keith says, with miles gone, who do you see as the face of the franchise, maybe one on each side of the ball, in my opinion, it can't be should door until his level of play earns it curious what you guys think.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_03]: So miles is gone, new face of the franchise can't be should door Sanders right now, one on each side of the ball on the offensive side of the ball.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_03]: I love Harold Fanon Jr.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_03]: All right, I love Harold Fanagener.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_03]: I do think that there's a chance quench on Judkins, just blows people away this year.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_03]: I really do.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_03]: So some of those skill guys, we've actually got good skill players now.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_03]: who we can talk about in this type of a question, which is a lot of fun.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_03]: It's funny that the one veteran receiver we do have, who was supposed to be our wide receiver, one is not even gonna be in that sort of discussion.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_03]: On the defensive side of the ball, Carson, face of the franchise, Carson, Swesinger, and I think by the end of the season,
- 31:13[SPEAKER_03]: we're all going to be Jared verse people.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_03]: Now, he's not going to be miles Garrett.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_03]: He's not going to replace that.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_03]: You're not, he miles Garrett is one of one.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: But I think we're going to be very happy with the type of season and production and leadership and just the person player that Jared verse is.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we got Michael here on Facebook as well.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_03]: Says besides Jared verse with this new
- 31:43[SPEAKER_03]: next big step.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's, okay, I don't know.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to sit here and predict it, but the guy who needs to take that next big step absolutely has to.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_03]: There's, I mean, outside of injury, which would suck, but there's no excuse.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_03]: You, Mason Graham has got to take that next big step.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_03]: Mason
- 32:11[SPEAKER_03]: as Brown's fans collectively, we should be able to sit back and say, okay, Mason Graham, 100% worth top five pick in the draft two years ago, 100%.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_03]: No doubt.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_03]: We can't be sitting around saying, man, did we?
- 32:26[SPEAKER_03]: Did we maybe blow another top five pick on a guy was Mason Graham worth that no he needs to make it damn positive that he was worth that top five pick he needs to take that next big step he had a nice rookie season I'm not dog and Mason Graham I'm just saying for a top five pick in the draft when we passed on some very good players at positions we also needed really badly.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_03]: He's got to do a lot this year.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_03]: There's got to be a sig, nifigant step forward, noticeable, erasing any doubt in anyone's mind.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's just me.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: Let me know what you guys think.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: That's what this is all about this show.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_03]: Well, every episode about what you guys think.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_03]: It's all about your feedback as fans, but specifically on some of these questions and this one right here, my answer about Mason Graham.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_03]: What do you guys think are, do you need to see a big step forward from Mason Graham in 2026?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_03]: Last one here from Facebook, Robert says, what contribution do you expect from the two rookie tight ends?
- 33:29[SPEAKER_03]: Carson Ryan, not sure.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_03]: You know, go back and watch my episode with Kenny Mac last week about the,
- 33:36[SPEAKER_03]: The position battles were looking at for training camp, Carson Ryan, 7th round pick.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, most 7th round picks don't even make their NFL rosters.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of is what it is.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think they drafted him in the 7th round because they didn't want to fight the priority free agents and the UDFA's to try to sign him and get him into camp.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_03]: Let him be a camp body, let him.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see if he can earn his way onto this roster.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_03]: If not, you know, he's waived, no harm, no foul.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_03]: It was a 7th round pick.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_03]: I actually expect him to come out as the Titan 2, maybe not right away to start the season, but I think by the end of the season, that's the role he will be operating in.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_03]: I expect him to contribute in the passing game.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe a little more than people are thinking just because of the way that Todd Muckin in this Browns coaching staff this offense Plans to utilize the tight end position So I looked to see a good contribution from Joe Royer this year and I know people are gonna.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_03]: Well, what do you mean by that?
- 34:42[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_03]: I honestly don't know what to expect maybe
- 34:47[SPEAKER_03]: 25, 30 catches 250, 300 yards, added into this offense.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_03]: Cause again, Harold Fannon Jr's going to dominate targets along with these rookie wider severs, Jerry Judy, Isaiah Bonne, Quinn Sean Juggkins, Dylan Samson, both very good past catchers all the backfield.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there's not like a ton left over.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_03]: I guess is the way I'm looking at it.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: There's not a ton of, you know, of the pie left to be eaten by Joe Royer.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_03]: So 25, 30 catches as a rookie would be awesome.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_03]: It would be really, really good 20 to 25, maybe.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just 250, 300 yards tops.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_03]: That would be, I think that would be a good contribution for him.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_03]: As a rookie, let me know what you guys think.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_03]: Am I too low, am I too high, am I crazy?
- 35:31[SPEAKER_03]: Kind of just pulling numbers off top of my head, but whenever I think my gut feeling on that, that's kind of what I'm thinking on that.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_03]: This episode is sponsored by Dash Dog Food.

- 37:21[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, got a couple questions here on X, Cleveland Brown says, who do you wish for the Browns to start at quarterback?
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: Shoulder Sanders.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think anybody watching or listening to me right now is surprised to hear that.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: I even commented back, I said, do you follow us?
- 37:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_03]: I wish for Shoulder Sanders to start at quarterback this year.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: So we know
- 37:47[SPEAKER_03]: for sure after the season, what we need to do with those first round picks.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_03]: Cause I don't care about the Sean Watson.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: He's not gonna be here next year.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care what anybody says about, whoa, there's a very sad he's not gonna be here again.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_03]: This is it.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_03]: This is the last ride.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_03]: and Dylan Gabriel's already out of the picture.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_03]: Taylor and Green's developmental guy, the only one who makes sense, the only one I want to see play quarterback this year, Shador Sanders.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, Mike over here says, kind of on top of that, would you root for Nishon to fail?
- 38:19[SPEAKER_03]: If he's the weak one starter, we know how you guys feel about who should start, but are you going to be a true fan and root for the win or root for the L?
- 38:28[SPEAKER_03]: I never root for the L. Mike and I even told him, I said it's a great question.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_03]: We'll answer it.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_03]: But I even gave him the heads up on this one.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_03]: Said this on the show already before I'll say it again.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_03]: If Todd Monk and comes out and says the Sean Watson will be our week one starter.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_03]: I will root for him to succeed because that means I want the Browns to succeed because if he fails the Browns fail, I'm all about his team being fun to watch.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: I hate wasting three to four hours of my Sunday afternoon watching piss poor football on my TV.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_03]: It sucks.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's why he gets so frustrated like I am wasting time watching these guys some some times How it feels.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want that.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_03]: I want it to be fun.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_03]: I want it to be competitive So I will root for him.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not gonna stay here.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: So I hope he sucks today So we can get him out of there.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_03]: That means I got to watch bad football now
- 39:16[SPEAKER_03]: Let's draw the line here, though, because I root for him to succeed, does not have to mean that I believe he will succeed, okay?
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: There is a difference.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: Just because I want to see the Browns do well doesn't mean that I have to change my opinion and all of the data and information that I've processed over the last four years to suddenly say, I believe now that he's going to be good.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: I don't.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_03]: I do not.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_03]: If he's the starter, I want him to be good.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_03]: doesn't mean I have to believe it's going to happen, so that's my fine line.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_03]: Daniel says, knowing the Brown's past, you think, okay, here's a good one.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: Do you actually know what?
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'll skip this.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'll come back to Daniel's question.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_03]: Should door X says, will I say a bond be the X factor this year?
- 40:02[SPEAKER_03]: Listen, guys.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: I like Isaiah Bonne.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_03]: I like what he showed last year.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: I really do.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_03]: He had like 338 yards on just what was 18 catches.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_03]: Something like that.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_03]: Or 16, I forgot what it was now.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's like 18.019 yards per catch.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: Pretty impressive for a rookie who had no training camp, no preseason, got thrown on to the active roster basically in September.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, season starting, here you go.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to play with Joe Flack or the Sheldon Joe Flacko and Dylan Gabriel and should like you're going to play with two rookies.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_03]: It was a tough season for all these guys with that being said, they added a lot of talent.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_03]: I think I think when people are saying, because I'll post this stuff on social media, who do you think is going to be the Browns receiving leader in 2026 and all this stuff?
- 40:52[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people say I say a bond.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_03]: I think you are grossly underestimating the impact and the skill level.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_03]: that Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston are both bringing to this offense.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_03]: Both of those guys could have been drafted by different teams and worked their way into being the wide receiver one for their team.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_03]: Both of them.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_03]: We got both of those guys.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_03]: We still have Jerry Judy who, you know, love and hate him or just not a huge fan of him.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_03]: However, everyone will look at it.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_03]: If he's not the primary focal, he doesn't have to carry the entire load of the offense and the receiving room on his shoulders.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to contribute.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_03]: Harold Fan and Junior, we're going to talk about the two running backs to a lawyer.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_03]: You know, if Cedric Tillman's still on the roster, Marie Thrash, who I forgot to mention earlier in that competition.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_03]: With Isaiah Bond, I guess I'd have to have you define what X factor means, but to me, I think he's going to be a complimentary piece to the offense.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I think that he can provide us with some very nice downfield explosive plays.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's going to be fun, but as far as X factor, I think he's going to be just a guy.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think it'll be a good piece to the offense, but I wouldn't call him a next factor.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_03]: That's just my opinion right now.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: I know that's probably going to make some people mad, but I think just realistically you're undervaluing what we have added to this team on offense just a little bit.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, back to Daniel's question now, because I want to spend a little time on this.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_03]: He says, knowing the Brown's past, do you think the Brown's will be interested in picking up Terian Arnold?
- 42:33[SPEAKER_03]: and if the browns do that, what would that mean for Denzo Ward's future?
- 42:40[SPEAKER_03]: Denzo Ward's future with the Browns, I think, depends heavily on how the team performs and what the record is going into the trade deadline during the season.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_03]: because I hate to talk about it.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_03]: I love Denzel, Wardie's one of my favorite players on the team, but he's 29 years old.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_03]: And we already talked this episode about the lack of cornerback depth, however,
- 43:13[SPEAKER_03]: If the record isn't good and it doesn't look like we're going to be pushing for any sort of playoff contention or whatever, and a team who is a team that is looking to contend for the playoffs.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe make a run in the post these and all that kind of stuff.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_03]: If they have an injury to a corner back position, they just need to upgrade the spot.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_03]: You could see Denzel word get traded, especially if somebody is going to come in here and say we're desperate.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_03]: We lost our top guy.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_03]: Our defense is hurting, we'll give you a first round pick.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_03]: Like we just, we have to have, we have to have Denzel word give you a first.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's a question.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_03]: I think you take it.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think the bronze would have to take it.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_03]: It could be something like this.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_03]: I don't imagine he'd get traded for less than a second.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_03]: Even at 29th of the way he's playing,
- 44:00[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see how that goes for Denzo Ward.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think Signing Terrian Arnold would directly impact that decision.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_03]: Because again, I think if a team came with a first round pick in desperation saying, we have got to get Denzo Ward from you guys.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it matters who's on this roster, the Browns would take it.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_03]: Especially like I said, the record isn't bad shape.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: Terrian Arnold, let's talk about it for just a second here.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_03]: So I was looking up some of this stuff.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_03]: So, if you haven't really been following, and again, I followed the situation a little bit at the beginning and then I kind of checked out.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's hard to follow all these different storylines from all these different players and teams, and everything when I'm so really got to put a lot of energy just into the Browns alone.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_03]: But Arnold, second year, you're two-year corner back out of Alabama was the I think 24th overall pick two years ago and the first round by the Detroit Lions.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_03]: Played is rookie season.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_03]: I think you did fairly well again.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not a Lions fan.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_03]: So any Lions fans that might be tuned into this just let me know what your perspective on Terry on Arnold because I'm coming at this completely from an outsider perspective.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_03]: Last year only played.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_03]: seven games or something, he had a shoulder injury and it ended up having to have surgery on the shoulder, one on season ending IR, so really just one season so far in the NFL last year, again, marked by that injury cut short.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_03]: So he's got two years of the NFL, one of them cut short by a shoulder injury that already had to require surgery and then now gets arrested in Florida.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: and charged with eight felony counts, four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_03]: Not good, not good.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_03]: So this is just a quick summary of the situation.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: Again, I'm not going to go into like all of the details about this thing because you probably already know and if you don't, the summary is all you really need.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_03]: Prosecutors, prosecutors, alleged that Terry on Arnold orchestrated a revenge plot after reporting that cash and luxury items had been stolen from his Airbnb.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_03]: According to investigators several associates lured three people into an apartment where they were allegedly beaten, held at gunpoint and robbed.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_03]: Authorities contend that Terian Arnold coordinated the plan even though he was not physically present.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_03]: Arnold was plea or has pleaded not guilty his attorneys maintain he is innocent.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_03]: Detroit Lions
- 46:39[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it was like the next day or two days after this whole situation dropped, they caught him.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_03]: Just straight out caught him.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_03]: So that legal situation was just too serious for them to keep him on the team and just trying to think the best way to navigate this conversation.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_03]: So they caught him.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: He cleared waivers, which after you cut a player, there's like a player with
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: You have to have so many years of crude to be a free agent of neatly upon being cut, I believe.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_03]: So obviously as on a rookie contract, you cut a player, they go to waivers, which means any NFL team that once him can place a waiver claim on him, and then there's like a waiver priority, if you guys play fancy football, you kind of understand the terminology.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_03]: There's a waiver priority, and then the highest priority team that place to claim is awarded the player.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_03]: And that player's current contract.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_03]: Nobody, nobody claimed him.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_03]: No NFL team, placed a claim on Terry and Arnold.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_03]: So now his existing rookie contract is gone.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_03]: He is now an unrestricted free agent, eligible to sign with any team that wants him.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_03]: He is currently out of jail on a $1 million bond.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_03]: He is placed under strict conditions, including travel restrictions.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_03]: And he's not allowed to have any contact with the code of offense in the case.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_03]: According to his attorney, there are three NFL teams who have reached out and potentially are asked about or touched base about potentially signing him.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't mean any of those teams are going to sign him.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know who they were, but even if an NFL team does sign him,
- 48:19[SPEAKER_03]: The NFL could just place them on the commissioners' exemplist, which would prevent him from practicing or playing while this case continues to proceed.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_03]: So it doesn't look like there's going to be football.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_03]: Anytime in the near future, for Terrian Arnold, this situation is very serious and it's...
- 48:40[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot more to it than I'm really just skipping over.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_03]: So I apologize for not going into a deeper dive on this, but again, Detroit Lions player doesn't really impact the Browns right now.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: If the Browns were to sign in, then I would give you guys a full breakdown on this whole situation on an episode, but right now it doesn't really matter.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_03]: The big thing from a football standpoint, he's only 23 years old, still a super young player, former first round pick,
- 49:05[SPEAKER_03]: High Alabama pedigree, and he's got legitimate quarterback one type of physical traits, which obviously is what the lines were banking on when they drafted him.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_03]: the risks.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_03]: He's facing extremely serious felony charges that carry the possibility of having at decades in prison if he is convicted, not good.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_03]: The NFL discipline process has not even begun on this, so there's a suspension in the works if he were to come back and play football.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_03]: And again, may not play football for a long time, or ever again.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think the Browns, I don't think Andrew Barry are going to pursue this guy.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_03]: I would be shocked to hear the Browns being involved, especially if the way we've turned over this roster.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_03]: Again, Terri and Arnold, the football player fits with this roster.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_03]: Young high pedigree, all that kind of stuff.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: and you shift it over to the personal side of things.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_03]: Probably not the type of player you want to bring onto this young roster now with so many good young leaders and just the trajectory we are on with this team.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it would be a good idea.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's not a question of whether or not he would help our defense because of course he would.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_03]: If he's on the field,
- 50:22[SPEAKER_03]: We don't even know if he's going to be allowed to play so I just don't think it's worth the risk.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think the Browns are interested.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: We've obviously in the reason and I get why Daniel's asking this.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure other people I'm sure like you guys have been wondering that too.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: Andrew Barry has been called the GM of second chances.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_03]: He gives second chances, sometimes third chances or more to players who maybe he shouldn't.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, it can work out from time to time.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I say a bond last year is a good example of a guy who the Brown stuck with through his legal allegations.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_03]: And then when all of that got resolved, he signed with us.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_03]: and contributed as a rookie.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_03]: And now we're looking for, you know, hand to be a good player for us in year two.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_03]: There's also a lot of examples of these situations not going well for the Browns to Sean Watson.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, being the main one.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_03]: And then we've just got two questions left here.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_03]: These are from Instagram, chewy four Max says what receivers make the roster after Judy, Casey, Boston, and Bond.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: So we've already talked about this in the
- 51:35[SPEAKER_03]: The final, let's, let's just for the sake of this discussion, say the Browns keep six.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_03]: You've got Tillon Wallace, Malachi, Coralid, Jamari, Thrash, Gage, Larvadan, Cedric Tillman, kind of fighting for those last two spots.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_03]: We'll just leave it at those five for right now, because again, only two spots after these top four, five guys fighting for it, who makes the roster.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_03]: I actually don't think Cedric Tillman does.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think if there's a player that's going to get traded during camp, it's said or tell me.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_03]: Because I could see he's on the last year of his rookie deal, he's not going to get an extension here.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's probably not going to get a whole lot of playing time and if he does, he's going to be heard.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we know these things, okay.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_03]: We've got a track record now.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_03]: But I could see another NFL team looking at a guy like Cedricilman, former third ground pick.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_03]: He's got like the 6463, 220-pound receiver, prototypical receiver body.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_03]: Like he's a big contested catch guy.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_03]: I could see a team saying, now, we'll give you a six-round pick for him or something.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_03]: Like, don't even have people's Jones.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_03]: So Cedricilman probably not making the roster.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_03]: So that takes it down to what?
- 52:39[SPEAKER_03]: Thresh got cut last year.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_03]: after the, you know, I roster cut downs.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_03]: I got put on the practice squad, gauge Larva Dan.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_03]: I think Malachi Corley makes it.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_03]: So let's just make that five.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_03]: And then I think we're looking at, you know, it's gonna be between Tullin Wallace, gauge Larva Dan, and Tommari Thrash.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_03]: And out of those three, unless Todd Munkin has a really strong,
- 53:07[SPEAKER_03]: allegiance or feeling about keeping a veteran guy that he's got familiarity with until and Wallace.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think, honestly, I think it would be Gage Larva Dan.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_03]: So, I guess that's kind of my pre-training camp answer to that.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_03]: So, after Judy Casey Boston, Bond, Malachi, Corley, and Gage Larva Dan.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's my current prediction here on July 10th.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_03]: So, check back with me, you know,
- 53:33[SPEAKER_03]: month and a half after preseason game two and I'll see we'll see if my my thought on that has changed but thank you to everybody who submitted questions I really appreciate all the feedback all the engagement and the just you guys continue to stay plugged into not only the show but just the Browns in general like that's that is what true fans do even when the team is away and there's no actual football happening no practicing no nothing but
