Tax Fraudster Fakes Returns While in Jail | San Antonio News
Tax preparer Natasha Banks Brown, convicted in April on 11 counts of filing fake returns, kept right on scamming — even filing a new fraudulent return the day she was found guilty. The IRS had already uncovered her scheme: inflating client refunds to siphon off fees into her personal account. Her bond was revoked, she’s now in custody, and sentencing is pushed to August 24th with a possible 4-5 year sentence.
