Louisiana’s launching a bold new campaign—Love Our Waterways—to tackle trash in rivers, lakes, and bayous for the first time. Led by Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser and Keep Louisiana Beautiful, volunteers are already hitting the water by kayak and boat to clean hard-to-reach spots, with local groups from law enforcement to veterinary clinics rallying behind the effort. This isn’t just about roads—it’s about protecting the state’s natural beauty and inspiring community pride in keeping waterways pristine.
