0:25

0:29
Speaker 2: to you by Reburger.
0:30
Speaker 4: Crave worthy street food freshly made with Reburger.
0:35
Speaker 2: Mo Yeah, great Freeburger. God, it feels good to say
0:40
Speaker 2: it again. I'll tell you what what also feels really good?
0:45
Speaker 2: Fellas setting eyes on old Mogi, the stallion in the
0:48
Speaker 2: corner over there, and.
0:49
Speaker 3: It's type black T shirts.
0:52
Speaker 2: He's sounding a bit croaky today, but we'll get into
0:55
Speaker 2: that maybe later on the show book.
0:58
Speaker 3: My word, what a stallion? How's life? Gabriel grassy.
1:03
Speaker 2: Me?
1:04
Speaker 3: What a weekend?
1:05
Speaker 5: It was? Fellers off the back of a huge week
1:08
Speaker 5: doing breakfast for the previous week and a half into
1:11
Speaker 5: what can only be described as I don't really realize that,
1:13
Speaker 5: but the fellows who do breakfast they get a long
1:15
Speaker 5: weekend every single week, Yes, a long weekend every single week.
1:19
Speaker 3: And I'm jealous. Of that, now that I know that
1:20
Speaker 3: it exists.
1:21
Speaker 5: They finish at ten o'clock in the morning every Friday
1:24
Speaker 5: and then they're done for three days long weekend.
1:25
Speaker 3: How good?
1:26
Speaker 4: But they are then back at work way before us.
1:29
Speaker 3: Yeah that's right, you know what I mean?
1:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I don't w Weirdly, we've kind
1:33
Speaker 5: of got a long weekend. But because we don't finish
1:35
Speaker 5: until seven or so at night, you know what I mean,
1:38
Speaker 5: it doesn't really feel like it. What I'm saying is
1:40
Speaker 5: we're getting ripped off here. Yeah, which are gone strip to?
1:45
Speaker 3: How are you going? Key?
1:46
Speaker 2: Because we all came into the studio today and we're like,
1:49
Speaker 2: she's it's hot in here. It's steam he is, And
1:53
Speaker 2: Keesy was one of those that said that. And he's
1:55
Speaker 2: wearing a massive corduroys sort of velvety green jacket, massive
2:01
Speaker 2: swam switching underneath that. What's going on, Gizie, You've got
2:05
Speaker 2: a bit of a chill or something.
2:06
Speaker 4: I don't have a chill at all. Man, just hiding
2:09
Speaker 4: some hickeys, Yeah, hiding some hickeys. Yeah, that pretty bad
2:12
Speaker 4: over the weekend. I'm just trying to hide it. So
2:14
Speaker 4: if they could turn the air on that'd be great. Yeah,
2:17
Speaker 4: about you, Jasonon You're looking good? Yeah, thank you, Mike,
2:19
Speaker 4: And I'm not even joking. You address identically to when
2:22
Speaker 4: we interviewed Josh Homire of Queens and the Stone Age. Yeah,
2:26
Speaker 4: same here, same shit, about one eighth the size. Other
2:30
Speaker 4: than that you look your dress and giving off the
2:32
Speaker 4: same vibe as Josh Homie.
2:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you man deliberately.
2:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, big fan, big fan, and I do follow him
2:39
Speaker 2: a lot in his fashion. So glad you noticed Key.
2:42
Speaker 4: Hate which one of his songs?
2:43
Speaker 3: Do You're like, hey, Mogi, what's coming up on the show? Mate?
2:47
Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's right?
2:50
Speaker 2: For god, what's happening on the Big Show with old mogis?
2:55
Speaker 5: It's another day in July, which means 's another opportunity
2:57
Speaker 5: to get yourself two one hundred and fifty dollars in
2:59
Speaker 5: cold cash with the piles that pay. Listen out for
3:02
Speaker 5: the pirates, c to Cale and give us a bell
3:06
Speaker 5: hodeche and you could get that cash for yourself, your
3:08
Speaker 5: mad dogs. Later on the Shell, be talking to Charlie
3:11
Speaker 5: Gubb about the Warriors win over the weekend, and coming
3:15
Speaker 5: up next we're going to be talking about what can
3:17
Speaker 5: only be regarded really as a sporting feast.
3:19
Speaker 4: Yes, a huge.
3:21
Speaker 3: Weekend of sport. Keezy.
3:23
Speaker 4: I also see written here improva.
3:26
Speaker 3: One of those things as they are falling off though.
3:29
Speaker 2: One of his favorite songs, did you ask me, Josh
3:32
Speaker 2: I had a tale?
3:33
Speaker 5: If I had a tail, if I had a tale,
3:36
Speaker 5: if he doesn't have one, Yeah, go on.
3:39
Speaker 3: As queens of the sone age.
3:41
Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod.
3:45
Speaker 2: Is indeed big there on the Radio Hodarki Big Show
3:48
Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past four
3:52
Speaker 2: o'clock and it was an absolute sporting feast over the weekend.
3:55
Speaker 2: But what we want to focus on in this particular
3:58
Speaker 2: voice break is what happened in the early hours of
4:02
Speaker 2: this morning.
4:03
Speaker 4: You dream of a punt to win the Open? He
4:08
Speaker 4: has it, Ryan Fox, Champion Golfer.
4:12
Speaker 1: Of the Year.
4:14
Speaker 2: He celebrates and far away in.
4:17
Speaker 4: New Zealand celebrates with.
4:18
Speaker 3: On Bloody Oates.
4:20
Speaker 2: We do fellows Fiellas to consider that he was too over,
4:24
Speaker 2: I think after the first round and then to go
4:27
Speaker 2: on and win the tournament.
4:29
Speaker 3: Champion, what is it?
4:31
Speaker 2: Champion Golfer of the year, a major, a major winner,
4:34
Speaker 2: just absolutely phenomenal. And what I loved about that little
4:38
Speaker 2: replay there with that part wasn't an easy part, Fellas,
4:41
Speaker 2: and he just went up there and did what he
4:43
Speaker 2: always does, doesn't muck around, smack that boom straight down
4:46
Speaker 2: the guts.
4:47
Speaker 3: It was quite interesting. I stayed up all night and
4:48
Speaker 3: watched it. Fellas.
4:49
Speaker 5: I knew he was in the final peering, so you know,
4:53
Speaker 5: you don't miss the opportunities to watch in New Zealand
4:56
Speaker 5: reach the great heights of the Sporting Mountains, the sporting
5:00
Speaker 5: mountains around the world.
5:01
Speaker 3: So I was there with him every shot, every step
5:03
Speaker 3: of the way.
5:03
Speaker 5: Keasy, who was he Burns I think his name was.
5:07
Speaker 4: It was Cameron Young.
5:09
Speaker 5: There you go, one of them. And so what was
5:12
Speaker 5: interesting was I think on the seventeenth the Bogey he
5:15
Speaker 5: ended up in a sand trap. Get high drama, Kezy,
5:18
Speaker 5: You're thinking to himself, I he's no show here. But
5:20
Speaker 5: it just no matter what happened to him, he just
5:23
Speaker 5: battled on. Absolute legend and interesting. At the end when
5:26
Speaker 5: he got that part and he won, he looked like
5:29
Speaker 5: the unhappiest man in the world. Yeah, it was shocked,
5:32
Speaker 5: he was, absolutely It was just a relief pouring over him. Yeah,
5:38
Speaker 5: he just looked completely over the moon that he had
5:41
Speaker 5: a bugger at that well, he was at that.
5:43
Speaker 4: Point, right because he's thirty nine. Yes, Jace, you both
5:49
Speaker 4: look great, by the way, thank you. And at that
5:51
Speaker 4: point in time, he's done something right in that moment
5:54
Speaker 4: that he wanted to do when he was a little
5:57
Speaker 4: kid and first picked up a golf club. I'd love
5:58
Speaker 4: to win a major one day and all of a
6:00
Speaker 4: sudden with one part, you know, obviously four days of play,
6:03
Speaker 4: but with one part he's done the thing that he
6:05
Speaker 4: set out to do. When I can't even imagine what
6:06
Speaker 4: that feels.
6:07
Speaker 2: Like, well even more extraordinary because we're focusing on the
6:09
Speaker 2: pup there. That last hole was the most difficult hole
6:13
Speaker 2: of the tournament, and everyone had bugging it up all
6:16
Speaker 2: day long, and he went and birdied it. He played
6:18
Speaker 2: a magnificent drive, he played a magnificent second shot to
6:22
Speaker 2: give himself the chance for the part, and he nailed it.
6:24
Speaker 3: And the great thing about it.
6:25
Speaker 2: Is he's won two PGA titles as well, and I
6:28
Speaker 2: think that's made all the difference. And when it comes
6:30
Speaker 2: to the clutch, old Foxy tang it On.
6:36
Speaker 5: Certainly one of only five players to get a birdie
6:39
Speaker 5: on the eighteenth hole.
6:40
Speaker 3: Yes, how about that.
6:41
Speaker 5: It was also a little of an interview that he
6:44
Speaker 5: did afterwards where he said that he was so close
6:46
Speaker 5: to quitting the game he was playing in Australia. He
6:48
Speaker 5: was playing like absolute garbage, just as probably five or
6:50
Speaker 5: six years he was still in a keys. He was
6:52
Speaker 5: having a shocker week after week after week, and as
6:56
Speaker 5: old man grub Fox came over to help him caddy
6:59
Speaker 5: and the Australian Open, and his father said to him,
7:01
Speaker 5: why do you play this game? And he said, well,
7:03
Speaker 5: it's meant to be fun, and so grand Fox said
7:05
Speaker 5: to him, why don't we just go out this week? Oh,
7:06
Speaker 5: kady for you and let's just try and have a
7:08
Speaker 5: bit of fun. He finished fifth in that tournament, and
7:11
Speaker 5: for Bear and he's kicked on and he was right
7:12
Speaker 5: on the verge if he had a shock on that
7:14
Speaker 5: tournament of quitting completely.
7:15
Speaker 3: So there's a lesson for you there, Casey totally man.
7:19
Speaker 4: And he went over there and did a keyzy and
7:21
Speaker 4: then there's a lesson for key at all.
7:22
Speaker 2: This there's a lesson there doesn't mean you're going to
7:25
Speaker 2: have shocker after shocker after shocker, but one day keys,
7:28
Speaker 2: he you might win a major.
7:31
Speaker 6: Sweet.
7:32
Speaker 2: But that's the other thing too, just on that, by
7:34
Speaker 2: the way, is his sporting heritage. Obviously his dad of
7:38
Speaker 2: great all black and I think his grandfather was like
7:41
Speaker 2: a captain of the cricket side.
7:44
Speaker 3: New Zealand. I think that's eleven. Yeah, but Silly was captain.
7:49
Speaker 3: He was skipper mog Yeah.
7:51
Speaker 2: Ah so no, seriously, man fantastic and he's such a
7:54
Speaker 2: lovely bloke. We've interviewed him when we did Breakfast the
7:56
Speaker 2: last time.
7:57
Speaker 4: He's a listener of the show.
7:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a real hum a bastard. Ye, he's got
8:01
Speaker 2: that sort of ki we vibe about him.
8:03
Speaker 4: That keezy vibe about him. The other thing too, which
8:06
Speaker 4: we you know when you watch Ryan Fox play, is
8:09
Speaker 4: he decides what's what club he's gonna use, and within
8:12
Speaker 4: ten seconds he's up there and he's had a practice
8:14
Speaker 4: shot and he's hit the ball. He smacked it, And
8:16
Speaker 4: you can really learn a lot from that because you
8:17
Speaker 4: can get up to the tee or wherever you're hitting
8:19
Speaker 4: the ball, and you can muck around and get in
8:21
Speaker 4: your own head. You just walk up, sort of aim
8:23
Speaker 4: it up and then swing the damn thing.
8:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what you're saying today. His attitude is sea shot,
8:28
Speaker 5: make shot. Yes if he just if he does that,
8:30
Speaker 5: then he's sweet. As soon as he starts overthinking, it
8:32
Speaker 5: all falls apart.
8:34
Speaker 4: I love that does a Hoidy jay.
8:40
Speaker 3: Hey, this is a tune too.
8:45
Speaker 1: The Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
8:48
Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
8:51
Speaker 2: The Killers there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
8:54
Speaker 2: Monday afternoon.
8:56
Speaker 3: The time is four twenty seven.
8:57
Speaker 4: Fellas had my parents up over the weekend there. Yeah,
9:01
Speaker 4: but while since I've been up to Auckland, actually it's
9:04
Speaker 4: like over a year.
9:06
Speaker 3: They're scared of big cities and stuff.
9:09
Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's that's scared of the big
9:13
Speaker 4: city scrapers.
9:15
Speaker 6: Yeah.
9:15
Speaker 2: Well it's a mark contrast to go from the plantation
9:19
Speaker 2: to West Auckland for a yeah.
9:21
Speaker 4: Yeah, so you're talking about the avocado plantation that they own, yes,
9:24
Speaker 4: which is a three acre lifestyle block. But they carried
9:28
Speaker 4: to Auckland and yeah, they came out to West Auckland
9:30
Speaker 4: and stayed with my wife and I was really nice
9:32
Speaker 4: having them up actually, And the reason they were up
9:33
Speaker 4: is for my parents' birthday because they're both born in
9:36
Speaker 4: the same month, very close to each other. So I
9:37
Speaker 4: did a joint present of Warriors tickets weeking in Auckland,
9:42
Speaker 4: go out for dinner, all that sort of stuff. We'll
9:43
Speaker 4: put into one nice, very nice, very thoughtful great sun
9:50
Speaker 4: you easy, Thanks Jace. The reason we went for the
9:55
Speaker 4: Wars tickets was because my parents are staunch Union supporters.
10:00
Speaker 4: Cheaper and well they are cheaper. The cost of getting
10:03
Speaker 4: an all Black ticket is outrageous, it's stupid. Hence why
10:07
Speaker 4: it was just old boomers anyway, but as the first
10:10
Speaker 4: time they'd ever been to a live Warriors game, you know,
10:13
Speaker 4: and I was trying to convince them to start watching
10:15
Speaker 4: the Wars and get behind them, and they're like, every
10:17
Speaker 4: time we watch them, they lose. And so we went
10:20
Speaker 4: to Mount Smart. We watched them take on the bottom
10:22
Speaker 4: of the table team and almost lose and what was
10:26
Speaker 4: a dour performance.
10:28
Speaker 3: In the rain.
10:30
Speaker 4: I wasn't reading too be Jayson. I was more just
10:32
Speaker 4: a mist But to my surprise, my parents absolutely loved it.
10:36
Speaker 4: My mom had one of my old jerseys on, my
10:38
Speaker 4: dad had my hat on because my jersey wouldn't fit them.
10:40
Speaker 4: And we're at Mount Smart there and the music was
10:42
Speaker 4: really loud, and the fireworks were going off and the
10:44
Speaker 4: blackout and everyone's torches were flashing, and they absolutely loved it.
10:48
Speaker 4: And it was quite nice because the whole time, because
10:49
Speaker 4: my parents have been watching League, but leagues changed a lot,
10:52
Speaker 4: and so the new tactics of like you know, building
10:55
Speaker 4: pressure and getting through his tackle sets and all that
10:57
Speaker 4: sort of stuff. My dad's like one of they just
10:59
Speaker 4: throw the ball around, one of just keep running into
11:00
Speaker 4: each other. And I was trying to explain all the things,
11:03
Speaker 4: but they loved it. We went out to dinner at
11:06
Speaker 4: a restaurant on Dominion Road Friday night. Interesting restaurant where
11:10
Speaker 4: you get skewers of me.
11:11
Speaker 5: Now what was you can't say what it was, but
11:13
Speaker 5: it was a bit of a wacky joint for it
11:15
Speaker 5: was like a comedy restaurant or some description.
11:18
Speaker 4: So that's kind of funny. It's just fun. You get
11:20
Speaker 4: beer towers and you can get skewers with like lamb
11:23
Speaker 4: testicles or chicken gives. Yeah, exactly like weird stuff. But
11:28
Speaker 4: there's also like the more vanilla stuff as well, which
11:31
Speaker 4: we loaded up on. What I didn't realize is that
11:32
Speaker 4: everything has spicy chili stuff on it and my dad,
11:37
Speaker 4: who thinks like a pine of milker spicy, he was
11:40
Speaker 4: like this. He was like crying at the table, which
11:43
Speaker 4: was really funny. But yeah, it was. It was a
11:46
Speaker 4: great weekend, fellas.
11:47
Speaker 2: And I know it was because on the Friday night,
11:50
Speaker 2: your mum she rang me.
11:51
Speaker 3: She was in tears.
11:54
Speaker 4: So my mom was in tears.
11:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, she was in tears, and I went, here we go,
11:58
Speaker 2: how does she have your number? Because you wife gave
12:00
Speaker 2: it to her because she'd call me previously in tears. Yeah,
12:05
Speaker 2: right then, and then it was like, oh, what the hell?
12:07
Speaker 2: And it was your mum, but tears of joy keys,
12:11
Speaker 2: what a lovely night It was out in the pissing
12:15
Speaker 2: rain watching a mediocre league game that.
12:18
Speaker 4: Was on the friday night.
12:18
Speaker 2: Was it was on Saturday, eating bulls testicles and so
12:24
Speaker 2: you know, kia kaha man. I mean that is good stuff.
12:28
Speaker 2: I think it's great. Yeah, that you look after your
12:31
Speaker 2: folks like that, I really do. I think it's lovely.
12:33
Speaker 4: Thank you. And do you know what as an absolute winner,
12:36
Speaker 4: like seriously, and I recommend you do this if you
12:38
Speaker 4: sort of you know my age, like you know, thirties, twenties,
12:41
Speaker 4: whatever it might be, if you are looking at potentially
12:44
Speaker 4: buying a house soon. Oh if you un fortunate enough
12:46
Speaker 4: take your parents to some open homes. Man, they loved it.
12:50
Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
12:51
Speaker 4: My dad obviously growing up on the plantation, he was
12:53
Speaker 4: just like, he's never been into an Auckland suburban, gone
12:55
Speaker 4: inside an Auckland house. How much does this cost?
12:58
Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, what is the it's brick dead, this is
13:01
Speaker 2: just a sick breck.
13:04
Speaker 4: Well, I mean we have bricks in Totager. We don't
13:08
Speaker 4: have bricks and Totager. Anyway, they loved it, that's all
13:11
Speaker 4: I recommend. Bloody good.
13:12
Speaker 3: Well, that's that's great.
13:13
Speaker 5: And did you manage to convince them to put down
13:16
Speaker 5: the deposit for the house, because that was the game
13:18
Speaker 5: of the whole weekend, wasn't it.
13:19
Speaker 4: You're you know obviously, well, not just a deposit, I
13:22
Speaker 4: want to pay for the whole thing.
13:25
Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
13:28
Speaker 1: in week days at four on radio.
13:31
Speaker 2: Is indeed Nirvana there on the radio Hodarky Big Show
13:35
Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon.
13:36
Speaker 3: The time is four forty one.
13:37
Speaker 2: As we were previously chatting about, but a rugby league
13:40
Speaker 2: action over the weekend, I had of mind. We've got
13:42
Speaker 2: our resident pro a rugby league legend, the one and
13:46
Speaker 2: only Charlie gab get a Charlie amyed bastard Our's life.
13:51
Speaker 6: What's up? Fellas? Life's good?
13:53
Speaker 7: I got a bang as a match tonight and oh yes,
13:56
Speaker 7: a leader of strawberry jelly. When to sit in the fridge.
14:00
Speaker 2: Ah good, I had bangers and mash the other night there,
14:05
Speaker 2: Gubby Ellison, she was a bloody affear.
14:10
Speaker 3: It was a bit damp the Fellows on the Friday.
14:12
Speaker 2: I need to tell you I did watch it the
14:14
Speaker 2: Fellows on the Friday, saying forty to fifty easy?
14:18
Speaker 3: What happened?
14:18
Speaker 4: What I expected? Jayse? Yeah, what did happen there? Charlie.
14:22
Speaker 6: Let's just seeing our ol. The Dragons were on.
14:24
Speaker 7: They got a really good young, hard forward pack and
14:29
Speaker 7: we were Warriors were off.
14:30
Speaker 3: You know we were.
14:31
Speaker 7: We played pretty ugly that first half. We did not
14:34
Speaker 7: build a lot of pressure at all. Every time we
14:36
Speaker 7: kicked down there would mister tackle or give a penalty
14:39
Speaker 7: and just let them off the hook, so they they
14:42
Speaker 7: there was no pressure belt to put the dragons, you know,
14:45
Speaker 7: like we weren't getting much good ball.
14:46
Speaker 3: Yeah, and we were.
14:47
Speaker 6: It was just it was just a bit off.
14:49
Speaker 7: But what was positive as the Dragons got in front,
14:52
Speaker 7: and even though we weren't playing our best, we still
14:54
Speaker 7: got enough to claw it back and went home.
14:56
Speaker 3: Couldn't agree more with you, there, old Gabby, you mad baths.
15:00
Speaker 3: It's interesting, isn't it.
15:01
Speaker 5: The Worriers have a have a win, right that they
15:04
Speaker 5: win ugly, and people are still all over them, you know,
15:07
Speaker 5: people saying, oh, well, you know, the Panthers won't be
15:10
Speaker 5: worried about them, the Roosters won't be worried about them
15:12
Speaker 5: being a real threat for the title this year. And
15:15
Speaker 5: yet the Panther is lost. So is anybody worried about them?
15:18
Speaker 5: Of course they are.
15:20
Speaker 6: That's right, And that's pretty if you can, if you
15:23
Speaker 6: can just keep stacking those two points, because all you
15:26
Speaker 6: have to do is get everything firing for those last
15:28
Speaker 6: few games in a row, you know, which is a
15:30
Speaker 6: quarter of semi in a final.
15:32
Speaker 7: Before that, hardly any teams are just playing like great
15:36
Speaker 7: weekend week out, especially this year. Panthers have dropped a
15:39
Speaker 7: couple in a row. Rusters are getting better now, but
15:42
Speaker 7: they were dog shit the whole season, absolute dog shit.
15:46
Speaker 3: Just language.
15:47
Speaker 7: We're getting the yeah, sorry, sorry, we're getting the bit.
15:51
Speaker 6: Aren't grateful as fans that we're expecting everything.
15:53
Speaker 7: To be you know, like rock.
15:54
Speaker 6: Stars all the time, but sometimes you just need a
15:56
Speaker 6: few rocks.
15:57
Speaker 4: Yeah, are you? Are you suggesting, Charlie Warriors legend that
16:01
Speaker 4: the Wars fans are now turning into all blacks fans
16:03
Speaker 4: are just sitting there expecting a win every single weekend.
16:07
Speaker 6: No, No, I don't think so.
16:08
Speaker 7: I just think that they're just kind of turning their
16:10
Speaker 7: nose up at like maybe Bang is a mash, you know,
16:13
Speaker 7: and they're expecting some friggin' line caught harpocker or something.
16:17
Speaker 6: But at the end of the day, like that, you've
16:19
Speaker 6: got a hot meal. When you finish the work, it's
16:21
Speaker 6: all good, you know.
16:22
Speaker 4: Exactly. One thing I have noticed about the Wars, though, Charlie,
16:24
Speaker 4: is when it comes time to take on a big
16:27
Speaker 4: team like the Melbourne Storm earlier this year or the Panthers,
16:30
Speaker 4: we really get up for those games and left our
16:32
Speaker 4: games to another level. But then when we do take
16:34
Speaker 4: on a lower team, we will still get the win,
16:36
Speaker 4: which is great, but we seem to drop off depending
16:39
Speaker 4: on the quality of the opposition. We seem to almost match.
16:43
Speaker 4: It's just something I've noticed you do you agree with that?
16:47
Speaker 7: Not really, Keezy. I mean just we're beating the people
16:51
Speaker 7: in front of us. So we've only we haven't lost
16:53
Speaker 7: that many times this year. Yes, we've won a lot
16:55
Speaker 7: of games ugly, but that's just it's.
16:58
Speaker 6: A long season.
16:59
Speaker 7: We're not always on and we've got a lot of
17:01
Speaker 7: troops down. We've got Rts out, We've got Jackson fought out.
17:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, we got Tanner Boyd out.
17:05
Speaker 7: We keep talking about it, but that's three possibly top five.
17:08
Speaker 3: Players is gone for the season. He's gone for the season.
17:13
Speaker 6: He had a couple of years he was out of
17:14
Speaker 6: the game.
17:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Charlie Gubbs out at the moment?
17:17
Speaker 3: Is he bloody?
17:18
Speaker 2: I'll tell you what though, who cares at the end
17:21
Speaker 2: of the day, Gubby? When you get the W, whether
17:23
Speaker 2: it's pretty or ugly?
17:25
Speaker 3: Right, yeap?
17:26
Speaker 6: What do they say? All W is the pink on
17:29
Speaker 6: the inside.
17:29
Speaker 3: That's exactly what they say, man, Gubby.
17:32
Speaker 5: Today, I got myself tickets for the Grand Final, mate,
17:34
Speaker 5: so I've put my money with my mouth is brother,
17:36
Speaker 5: you got your tickets already?
17:38
Speaker 3: Mate?
17:39
Speaker 7: No?
17:39
Speaker 3: Not yet?
17:40
Speaker 7: Oh no, I mean as we get closer, maybe I'll
17:43
Speaker 7: get someone just sell him for a bit more.
17:48
Speaker 4: Before we let you go. Charlie Gubb, who was your
17:50
Speaker 4: Porterking player of the round? Mate?
17:52
Speaker 3: Oh that question? Put? I have you know what Hoyy watched?
18:00
Speaker 6: Can you tell me howdy mister Binger is the.
18:01
Speaker 2: Mash Devil sausages by the way there just say you know,
18:06
Speaker 2: ma back.
18:07
Speaker 4: To the league please.
18:09
Speaker 3: Cape.
18:10
Speaker 2: Well yeah, yeah, yeah, based because I thought he You know,
18:15
Speaker 2: as we say, they weren't at their best. None of
18:17
Speaker 2: them were at their best as far as I'm concerned.
18:19
Speaker 2: But the good news is usually the Warriors would lose
18:22
Speaker 2: a game like that, but they got the w Yeah.
18:25
Speaker 7: Okay, we still got time because next week we got
18:28
Speaker 7: the Bulldogs, and then we got the Tiners and then
18:31
Speaker 7: we're at home the real acid.
18:34
Speaker 3: Yeah.
18:34
Speaker 4: Boy, cannot wait. Charlie, I personally would have said Dell
18:37
Speaker 4: and I thought he played excellent. His carries and stuff.
18:40
Speaker 4: It was just absolutely brilliant. Don't forget. If you're ever
18:42
Speaker 4: in Wellington you need a Portloo, hit up Porter King.
18:44
Speaker 4: Uncle Charlie will sort you out. Will chat in a
18:46
Speaker 4: week's time at Charlie, Yeah.
18:48
Speaker 3: We will.
18:48
Speaker 6: And if you want to pick the players that next week, Kesick,
18:51
Speaker 6: just turn that down for a second. Then you show
18:53
Speaker 6: me a bit more on the interview, like what he did.
18:55
Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, we'll do mate, good Charlie Man.
19:00
Speaker 1: He's hide the Hllarchy Big Show weekdays from four on
19:05
Speaker 1: Radio hod Ike.
19:06
Speaker 2: Yes, and you two there on the Radio Hodarky Big
19:09
Speaker 2: Show this Monday afternoon.
19:10
Speaker 3: The time is four point fifty three. Let's talk TV.
19:15
Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
19:22
Speaker 3: Yeah that's right. Last night, Fellas, I watched Jurassic Park.
19:27
Speaker 5: Oh nice, Naives says, I don't think I've seen that
19:32
Speaker 5: since it came out. I watched it because it's got
19:34
Speaker 5: Sam Neil, and also we needed to have a family movie.
19:38
Speaker 5: My daughter is only seven years of age, so she
19:42
Speaker 5: found quite a lot of it, a lot of it terrifying.
19:45
Speaker 4: Yeah, watch it.
19:48
Speaker 3: She was.
19:49
Speaker 5: She loved it, absolutely loved it. She loved it things
19:51
Speaker 5: that were pretty scary, so that made me laugh. But
19:55
Speaker 5: it got It's a brilliant film. Because I hadn't seen
19:57
Speaker 5: it for so long, I've sort of forgotten the vast
19:59
Speaker 5: majority of what even happens in it. But pretty much
20:01
Speaker 5: it just goes brilliant set piece after brilliant set piece
20:05
Speaker 5: after brilliant set piece, the the dinosaurs. Practical effects right, well,
20:11
Speaker 5: the practical effects look great. C Cgo is pretty heinous,
20:15
Speaker 5: but it's mostly but funny. My daughter is like, oh
20:18
Speaker 5: my god, how do they make it look so real?
20:20
Speaker 5: That was so that was good because also she doesn't
20:23
Speaker 5: know what a dinosaur looks like. We do, so yeah,
20:26
Speaker 5: it was. It was pretty amazing. Four and a half
20:29
Speaker 5: was out of a possible five. Samuel was great and
20:32
Speaker 5: he's bloody good. But everybody is yeah, sure, yeah, he's brilliant.
20:37
Speaker 3: What was it on?
20:39
Speaker 4: I'm going to go with TV and Z plus has
20:41
Speaker 4: a whole thing dedicated to Samuel.
20:42
Speaker 3: Oh, that's right, it does all free to wear the
20:44
Speaker 3: whole collection. Yeah, so great beauty TV and Z Plus.
20:49
Speaker 2: Last night we watched a movie called Lee. It's a
20:52
Speaker 2: war drama made in twenty twenty three, one hour, fifty
20:57
Speaker 2: six minutes long, magi worrying the always brilliant Kate Winslet.
21:04
Speaker 3: Oh.
21:05
Speaker 2: It's the story of photographer Elizabeth Lee Miller, a fashion
21:10
Speaker 2: model who became an acclaimed war correspondent for Vogue magazine
21:14
Speaker 2: during World War Two, and obviously, her character very belligerent,
21:19
Speaker 2: likes drinking like smoking, like Making Love and I am
21:24
Speaker 2: a massive fan of Kate Winsor. I think she's a
21:26
Speaker 2: fantastic actor. And she's one of those actors that doesn't
21:29
Speaker 2: as not afraid to get down and dirty with it,
21:32
Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Be very groedy looking and
21:36
Speaker 2: you know she's not precious.
21:40
Speaker 3: Can I put it that way? You're saying she's looking grody,
21:42
Speaker 3: isn't it?
21:45
Speaker 2: She's just well, no, but she plays her character's actually
21:50
Speaker 2: quite a run down. She's very extravagant, but she's quite
21:52
Speaker 2: a rundown kind of character. Also starring Alex Scarsgard. Yes,
21:58
Speaker 2: who's a stud, but he's terrible in this film as
22:02
Speaker 2: a useless Yeah, he's really insipid and weak.
22:05
Speaker 4: Sippid me, Oh okay, just.
22:07
Speaker 2: Kind of really annoying, kind of weak character. Really good
22:12
Speaker 2: film though, based on a true story, where he goes
22:16
Speaker 2: from being a fashion model, is dissatisfied with that, wants
22:19
Speaker 2: to get up to the front in the war. Then
22:22
Speaker 2: they're like, no, woman can't do that. Now, we don't
22:24
Speaker 2: allow that. But she gets here anyway because she sowed
22:27
Speaker 2: such a determined character based on a true story. Quite
22:30
Speaker 2: an extraordinary one too. I'll give it three point seven buzzies.
22:35
Speaker 3: Out of five. Wow.
22:36
Speaker 4: It's called lee l ee Yes, and it's on Neon
22:40
Speaker 4: Neon NICs. My parents are up over the weekend and
22:42
Speaker 4: they introduced my YouTube algorithm to something they are quite
22:45
Speaker 4: partial to which I am now partial to, which is
22:48
Speaker 4: people buying rundown really old things and they're doing them up.
22:52
Speaker 4: So we watch this couple by a monastery nice from
22:55
Speaker 4: the fifteen hundreds, and it is an absolute shambles and
22:58
Speaker 4: they're just sitting there the whole time, backing up with
23:00
Speaker 4: a beer and a wine and hand cracking up like, oh,
23:03
Speaker 4: these still are never gonna get this place finished. And
23:05
Speaker 4: I'm into it now.
23:06
Speaker 2: I love it, of course you would. You love the
23:08
Speaker 2: arena stuff. You sound like you're surprised. It's exactly the
23:11
Speaker 2: kind of thing that you've watched.
23:13
Speaker 4: Exactly it is. And I've now introduced my wife to it.
23:15
Speaker 4: She likes it. How we watch these guys by a
23:17
Speaker 4: nun's covenant covenant content from the seventeen hundreds, and this
23:24
Speaker 4: other couple bought a ruin on the hills of Thermalfi
23:27
Speaker 4: Coast which hasn't been inhabited for hundreds of years. Wow,
23:29
Speaker 4: And it's just them doing them up. Yeah, you know what,
23:31
Speaker 4: this is good?
23:33
Speaker 2: Four buses out of you know what I've been getting
23:36
Speaker 2: into just randomly, very.
23:37
Speaker 4: Quickly, hardcore pornography.
23:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, fall Apart.
23:39
Speaker 2: From that obviously tree felling gone wrong, so good. Heap's
23:48
Speaker 2: coming up after five o'clock including I've got my first
23:51
Speaker 2: ever house and speech and fellers to and perform, so
23:54
Speaker 2: I might need your advice on it.
23:57
Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred percent plus your chance on two hundred
23:59
Speaker 4: and fifty dollars cash if you hear the cue to
24:00
Speaker 4: call ring O eight hundred Hodaki.
24:05
Speaker 1: The hold Achty Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
24:08
Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hodach.

24:13
Speaker 2: surviving your Monday. You are listening to the Big Show,
24:16
Speaker 2: brought to you by Rebig.
24:18
Speaker 4: Gear, handcrafted figures, leaded fries and gourmet eats that will
24:21
Speaker 4: change the game.
24:22
Speaker 3: Or can't believe you rescued me. I was stuck a
24:26
Speaker 3: bit allops or just leaves and coconut.
24:29
Speaker 5: You know, you know, I'm glad You're okay, to be honest,
24:33
Speaker 5: but we've got everything you need on board.
24:34
Speaker 3: We've got clean drinking water. We've got blankets a nice
24:42
Speaker 3: could reboogo on board?
24:47
Speaker 4: Listen.
24:48
Speaker 3: I don't know if we have any on the ship.
24:58
Speaker 4: It worked, Pugs, it was nice.
25:00
Speaker 3: That's quality work, right there, Fellers.
25:04
Speaker 4: What's up?
25:06
Speaker 3: Speaking of Rebiger? Yeah?
25:08
Speaker 4: You head at the weekend?
25:09
Speaker 3: Yeah?
25:10
Speaker 2: God, so god, because I guess it was just doing
25:14
Speaker 2: breakfast all last week and stuff, and I like, something's
25:18
Speaker 2: missing in my life. And then I realized on the weekend.
25:22
Speaker 4: Rebig, you did you? How did did you go in
25:25
Speaker 4: and order it?
25:26
Speaker 2: Yes?
25:27
Speaker 4: What did you get?
25:28
Speaker 2: What's it called the big red Ruby or something?
25:31
Speaker 3: How do you even ask him? What do you even ask?
25:33
Speaker 5: Because I never remember what? Remember one or two? Because
25:36
Speaker 5: that's what he sees. It's a lie. It's an insult
25:39
Speaker 5: to our sponsors. But he doesn't care.
25:40
Speaker 2: So if you're feeling a bit peggersh at the moment,
25:42
Speaker 2: don't get yourself some Rebig.
25:44
Speaker 4: But what I don't understand is Jason's done radio for ages.
25:48
Speaker 4: Every time he gets a sponsor, does he just lie
25:50
Speaker 4: and say he was there every single day?
25:53
Speaker 3: Well? He does, he does.
25:54
Speaker 5: And it's also like when we do anything for charity
25:56
Speaker 5: and the Xychy his texted him to make a three
25:59
Speaker 5: dollars donation.
26:01
Speaker 3: Yeah.
26:02
Speaker 2: In fact, I've texted in ten times already.
26:05
Speaker 4: What reburger?
26:06
Speaker 2: Hey love us and fellas a big occasion for Old
26:12
Speaker 2: Hoardy J coming up and I.
26:13
Speaker 4: Just wanted to give a guyburger.
26:15
Speaker 2: Oh no, I mean that's that's just my little treat
26:17
Speaker 2: every week.
26:18
Speaker 6: Keys.
26:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, right, okay, And I need your advice on some stuff,
26:21
Speaker 2: so we'll get into that next some stuff sounds good.
26:24
Speaker 2: In the meantime, here's the Black Keys.
26:28
Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy. Tune
26:31
Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodiky Sound Garden.
26:34
Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
26:38
Speaker 2: The time is exactly fifteen minutes past five o'clock. Now, fellas,
26:42
Speaker 2: you'll be aware of the fact that Old Howdy J
26:44
Speaker 2: moved into the CBD this year, which is great, a
26:53
Speaker 2: bit of a you know, time for change, bit of
26:55
Speaker 2: a move.
26:57
Speaker 3: But what it.
26:58
Speaker 2: Also meant was that for the first time in my life,
27:01
Speaker 2: I became a landlord because our house in west Auckland
27:04
Speaker 2: there we're renting out. So now my wife and I
27:08
Speaker 2: are officially landlords. Nice and you're recalled. Not that long
27:12
Speaker 2: ago we had a flat inspection at our.
27:14
Speaker 4: Place, at your at your apartment.
27:15
Speaker 2: At the apartment, it was like, oh jeez, I don't
27:18
Speaker 2: think I've ever had one of those in my life actually,
27:20
Speaker 2: so you know.
27:20
Speaker 3: We're a bit nuvy about that.
27:23
Speaker 2: Not because we had anything to hide, but yeah, you know,
27:26
Speaker 2: we've just never been in that situation. And my daughter's
27:31
Speaker 2: room is a pig style, but that's by the bye,
27:34
Speaker 2: And now it's our tune because we were like, geez,
27:37
Speaker 2: I suppose we should be actually checking our place out,
27:40
Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
27:41
Speaker 4: So you guys are handling it. You don't have a
27:43
Speaker 4: property manager.
27:43
Speaker 3: We don't have a property manager. We are the landlords.
27:46
Speaker 2: If you have an issue, come and speak to old
27:49
Speaker 2: Hoidy j or his wife.
27:50
Speaker 4: This is so fun. I can imagine being a tenant
27:53
Speaker 4: whilst Jase comes around to look at the place.
27:55
Speaker 2: Um, and you know, we stay in touch with the tenants.
27:58
Speaker 2: How's it all going, how's the bamboo up the path?
28:00
Speaker 2: Citric c just at engaging them. He said, oh, we
28:03
Speaker 2: suppose we should come over and actually have a bit
28:05
Speaker 2: of a house inspection.
28:07
Speaker 3: The reality is.
28:08
Speaker 2: Because I've never been a landlord in my life, I
28:10
Speaker 2: don't know what I'm looking for I don't know what
28:12
Speaker 2: my rights are. I don't know what their rights are. Yeah,
28:14
Speaker 2: you know what I mean. So I thought i'd talk
28:16
Speaker 2: to you backbones. Maybe you had some idea or even
28:19
Speaker 2: the audience on three four eight three are the do's
28:21
Speaker 2: and don'ts? If you will, Yeah, I'm doing a house inspection.
28:25
Speaker 4: Is it you and your wife doing it?
28:27
Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, it'll be just together. Yeah okay, well yeah,
28:30
Speaker 3: I mean it's your house. Yes, you can do whatever
28:32
Speaker 3: you want.
28:33
Speaker 2: Like could I go in there and go, well, you're
28:37
Speaker 2: going to hang that there?
28:38
Speaker 3: Are you?
28:38
Speaker 6: Yeah?
28:38
Speaker 3: Yeah you should.
28:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, you can say whatever you want. Ah as if
28:41
Speaker 4: you want them to still be a te like.
28:42
Speaker 2: If I go like and then run my hand along
28:46
Speaker 2: the sort or you know my windowsill and go oh
28:49
Speaker 2: bit dusty, you got your the triggers.
28:51
Speaker 5: You're knock on the door, they oser the door straight
28:53
Speaker 5: and they're straight to the bedroom. You sit down on
28:54
Speaker 5: the bed, you bounce up and down a little bit,
28:56
Speaker 5: and you say this rule of the work gets done?
28:58
Speaker 3: Is it? Are you all right?
29:01
Speaker 2: That sort of creative I personally friendliness and stuff? Because
29:07
Speaker 2: what actually you bring? You make a good point, megie,
29:10
Speaker 2: because big I can't go through their jaws or.
29:16
Speaker 4: Of course I don't want to have to get like
29:17
Speaker 4: sued or something, you know what.
29:19
Speaker 3: New Zealand, Well, then go for it.
29:21
Speaker 2: Old Mogi has been a landlord so so so it's
29:26
Speaker 2: totally g for me to go through jaws, et cetera.
29:29
Speaker 5: Is you just need to use your in this case,
29:32
Speaker 5: as two of you there. Your wife will be the lookout.
29:34
Speaker 3: Oh okay, and then you just need like some kind
29:37
Speaker 3: of a code word.
29:38
Speaker 5: Yes, you know, dilly, dilly, you'll just been standing in
29:44
Speaker 5: the hallway your teennant to start walking down the hallway,
29:47
Speaker 5: you have to stop looking through their drawers so she
29:49
Speaker 5: sees dilly.
29:53
Speaker 4: Yeah, that could I mean, because instead tells me Jason
29:56
Speaker 4: is like, you can do this, and this is great
29:58
Speaker 4: advice from Mogai who's definitely been a land lord of us.
30:02
Speaker 4: But what you could do is really think about how
30:03
Speaker 4: you felt when the inspector was coming to your house
30:05
Speaker 4: your apartment, and or you could even mimic what they did.
30:09
Speaker 2: Weirdly, I felt real good.
30:12
Speaker 4: Right, you know what I mean? Like, so you're worrying,
30:15
Speaker 4: you know, you're hoping that everything's up to scratch. You
30:17
Speaker 4: could go around, have a look, give it a once
30:19
Speaker 4: over and say, oh, things are looking great here. Guys,
30:21
Speaker 4: thank you so much for you know, paying your rent
30:23
Speaker 4: on time and stuff. We really appreciate having you here.
30:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's no fun in that.
30:26
Speaker 4: Keys, you could get your wife to stand in the hallway.
30:28
Speaker 2: And your dilly, you know, because would I be, for example,
30:33
Speaker 2: in my within my rights to go through the draw
30:35
Speaker 2: and if I found something like a dilly to go
30:38
Speaker 2: out there and go, WA's this?
30:39
Speaker 3: Then?
30:40
Speaker 4: Wait? And why would you not be allowed to use
30:43
Speaker 4: a dilly in my house.
30:44
Speaker 2: When I'm not there?
30:45
Speaker 3: Keys? When there? When he's there? Fine?
30:50
Speaker 4: And what is this a building inspection trying to find
30:52
Speaker 4: a deal?
30:53
Speaker 3: What else am I looking for?
30:54
Speaker 2: Is there any other dues? And don't so can I?
30:56
Speaker 2: Is there anything that's sort of off limits?
30:58
Speaker 4: Well, I would say I've discussed why don't we do
31:02
Speaker 4: it in prov right to sort of set the scene
31:05
Speaker 4: and then you'll yeah, Because.
31:06
Speaker 3: I mean, they're lovely people.
31:08
Speaker 2: When I and I want to create the right atmosphere
31:10
Speaker 2: for them, you know what I mean, I don't want
31:11
Speaker 2: them to feel sort of freaked out that old hoody
31:14
Speaker 2: Jane and his wife come around to check the place out.
31:16
Speaker 4: So it's not to run through and that way you'll
31:17
Speaker 4: be fully prepared.
31:18
Speaker 2: Okay, that sounds good, Keezy, We'll do that after some Lenny, Yeah,
31:22
Speaker 2: why not? Oh no, maybe after some Royal Blood.
31:25
Speaker 4: Okay.
31:27
Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keezy tune
31:30
Speaker 1: in on radio.
31:33
Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, royal Blood there on the radio Hodarchy Big
31:36
Speaker 2: Show this Monday afternoon. The time is five twenty six,
31:40
Speaker 2: which means it's time for Why not it sounds fake
31:44
Speaker 2: lines camera, Actually no, it's time for the big sure
31:50
Speaker 2: prov Now the scenario that we have here, I'm about
31:54
Speaker 2: to do my first ever house inspection as a landlord,
31:57
Speaker 2: coming up sometime this week, and so I just want
31:59
Speaker 2: to to get a few tips and ideas from the fellows,
32:02
Speaker 2: having never done it before in my life, having never
32:04
Speaker 2: been a landlord in my life. What's the dos and
32:06
Speaker 2: the don'ts?
32:07
Speaker 4: As you were, Yeah, I mean we've just had a
32:09
Speaker 4: brief discussion about it. You know, I was under the
32:11
Speaker 4: impression you'd sort of have a look around, make sure
32:13
Speaker 4: anything everything's tidy, nothing's broken, and then leave right.
32:16
Speaker 2: Okay, But it's a lot more complicated than that, though,
32:19
Speaker 2: wasn't it.
32:19
Speaker 3: It can bey, Yeah, it can bey we're going to
32:21
Speaker 3: find out could.
32:22
Speaker 2: So I thought what we could do as an improvisation
32:25
Speaker 2: because my wife and I are doing it. Maybe Mogi
32:27
Speaker 2: and I, me and my wife.
32:30
Speaker 4: So who plays you me?
32:32
Speaker 2: Mogi can be my wife and Kesey you could be
32:36
Speaker 2: the tenant if that works for you.
32:37
Speaker 4: Sure? What's my name?
32:39
Speaker 2: What do you want your name to be?
32:41
Speaker 3: Gareth?
32:43
Speaker 2: Gareth? I would never rent my place out to a Gareth.
32:50
Speaker 4: I love the idea of some Gareth listening right now? Going,
32:53
Speaker 4: my name's Gareth. All right, I'm Gareth.
32:55
Speaker 3: Yeah, man, you're a bag bro. Good stuff.
32:58
Speaker 2: Okay, so we're going to turn up and then we'll
33:00
Speaker 2: go into the inspection.
33:02
Speaker 4: All right, sure, okay, here we go.
33:09
Speaker 3: God, the bell's not working. Actually good point. Hello Hello hello?
33:18
Speaker 3: Oh oh you Gareth? Are you?
33:21
Speaker 4: But yeah, I'm Gareth. We've met before.
33:22
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's your You.
33:24
Speaker 4: Owned the property.
33:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, when are you poohing it?
33:27
Speaker 3: Eh?
33:28
Speaker 4: When are you pooing it?
33:29
Speaker 2: You just maybe put some pants on, Gareth while we're
33:32
Speaker 2: doing the inspection. It's just a bit distracted.
33:33
Speaker 4: It's just this is a nice thing. I've got pants underneath.
33:36
Speaker 4: Ah right, sorry mate, you told me you're going to
33:38
Speaker 4: be here. In hours time, just early, is all?
33:40
Speaker 2: Oh no, no, that was the time we agreed to love,
33:42
Speaker 2: wasn't it. Yeah, my wife, Alice, can you not look
33:48
Speaker 2: at it like that, please, Gareth.
33:49
Speaker 4: I'm garing.
33:50
Speaker 3: I'm going good. Jeez.
33:53
Speaker 4: Alice had a few dirries or something, isn't she.
33:55
Speaker 2: So we're just going to have a little look around
33:56
Speaker 2: if you don't mind. Gareth just checked. Yeah, yeah, okay,
34:00
Speaker 2: let's go down here.
34:02

34:06
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, I don't need to know corner. I
34:09

Speaker 3: We've remember this bench.
34:26
Speaker 5: Yeah you see that beach there?
34:30
Speaker 4: Yeah, the breakfast bar.
34:31
Speaker 2: Just be careful, Yeah, your hands on it without gloves.
34:36
Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, well, I mean we've cleaned it a lot.
34:39
Speaker 3: Well that you need to you know, okay, is that
34:42

36:23
Speaker 4: so I appreciate that. Anyway, you're happy with everything? Are
36:29
Speaker 4: you happy with everything?
36:31
Speaker 3: Just have a little look through the draw here.
36:33
Speaker 4: We know you can't go through my drawer. That's my

Speaker 6: Tough times?
38:13
Speaker 7: Tough times?
38:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, imagine that's why you have to pound the beers
38:16
Speaker 2: keasy to warm you, I mean the beers.
38:18
Speaker 4: The pies, the pies.
38:19
Speaker 2: Way you could pound the beers as well as but no,

Speaker 2: That was a slip of the tongue, there, fellows, a
38:49
Speaker 2: slip of the tongue.
38:50

38:59
Speaker 2: Um, I'm actually really upset with myself because I forgot
39:02

39:06

39:15
Speaker 3: I didn't even know you could lock it.
39:17
Speaker 4: Yeah.
39:17
Speaker 3: Yeah.
39:17
Speaker 4: And that's the reason I've locked it is because Jays
39:19
Speaker 4: keeps going there and stealing flo and now it's locked
39:21
Speaker 4: and he's fuming about it. Excuse me, Key, why are

40:26
Speaker 5: Actually it's good yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I've been good
40:29
Speaker 5: as gold there. I had some delicious little feasts over
40:31
Speaker 5: the weekend. Little knocking number on your Friday night there.
40:35
Speaker 5: I had a Kennelini beanie experience last night.
40:38
Speaker 3: With may Day. You probably heard this as well, Keysy.
40:41
Speaker 4: I'm picturing you wearing a beanie with pictures of.
40:44
Speaker 3: Cannelini on it, Caroelini beanie. Yeah nice, and made that

41:00
Speaker 4: Talk us through.
41:01
Speaker 5: And then there's a little rap on the door, and
41:05
Speaker 5: my daughter she would like to go to the bathroom
41:08
Speaker 5: like Nat, because I I'm going to be here for
41:10
Speaker 5: a while, kizy, nothing nothing, nothing's going to move me anyway.
41:15
Speaker 5: Within about two or three seconds, I start feeling guilty,
41:17
Speaker 5: and then I see, are you just going out?
41:19
Speaker 3: What are you doing?
41:20
Speaker 5: You only want to go number ones? Or do you
41:21
Speaker 5: want to go number two? So I only want to
41:23
Speaker 5: go number ones? So how do I go? And I say, right,
41:29
Speaker 5: be quick. Three minutes later, I'm saying, what's going on
41:32
Speaker 5: in there? It's taking so long. I'm going to the toilet. Yeah,
41:34
Speaker 5: what are you doing? Number twos? So she lied to me.
41:38
Speaker 3: She liked.
41:41
Speaker 4: That's good stuff.
41:43
Speaker 3: Good stuff.
41:44
Speaker 2: Then with that in mind, well no, actually not with
41:48
Speaker 2: that in mind, what are you having for dinner?
41:50
Speaker 4: I don't want that in mind. Ever, we accidentally ordered
41:54
Speaker 4: food bag we forgot to shut down our account.
41:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, we've done that.
41:58
Speaker 4: And what we've been seeing is four of the least
42:00
Speaker 4: us meals.
42:02
Speaker 3: They send you the worst ones.
42:03
Speaker 4: Well they must do, because all four of them, we
42:04
Speaker 4: are just like, oh my god, what is this?
42:07
Speaker 3: You're not into it?
42:09
Speaker 4: Just last night was a rosotto. It was actually pretty nice.
42:11
Speaker 4: I don't like rosto. They wouldn't choose it. No, And
42:13
Speaker 4: so I've got another one tonight. I can't remember what
42:15
Speaker 4: it is, but I'm not excited, but hopefully it proves
42:17
Speaker 4: me wrong about you. Jason.
42:19
Speaker 2: Well, I just suggested a hot pot that my wife said, No,
42:24
Speaker 2: We're having creamy tomato soup with cheese toasties.
42:27
Speaker 4: That sounds yum.
42:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, I can live with that.
42:31
Speaker 3: Pretty good.
42:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, yam. I mean just have bought tomato soup.
42:38
Speaker 3: Make it tomato. It's very easy to make it tomato.

42:46
Speaker 2: Well tomato, Well, give me some cash so I don't
42:47
Speaker 2: have to buy the tomatoes myself, being very pricey. No, no,
42:51
Speaker 2: you do, because I use fresh tomatoes as opposed to
42:55
Speaker 2: as opposed to you can.
42:58
Speaker 5: Tomatoes. I can't wait to bet. Yeah she is Jace.

43:38
Speaker 3: You still are keazy kime on brother, you don't lie
43:40
Speaker 3: about it.
43:40
Speaker 4: I just keep quiet now about it because I know
43:42
Speaker 4: that you guys will turn into a thing.
43:43
Speaker 2: What it was more because your wife was getting embarrassed about.

43:57
Speaker 4: which is a weekly favorite of the Keyzy household, which
44:00
Speaker 4: is just a trough a ladle and it's a very
44:03
Speaker 4: lean meat to porks. Yeah, totally, Jason. Someone on Instagram
44:09
Speaker 4: lovely person message being like, and I'll have a sech
44:11
Speaker 4: through my DMS now just to get the extra name
44:13
Speaker 4: because I should credit them. They were like, oh, Kezy,
44:16
Speaker 4: have you seen this? Mate? It was an article about
44:18
Speaker 4: this new thing called borkmansh borkments, And I like, what
44:23
Speaker 4: the hell's that? So I looked into It turns out
44:25
Speaker 4: because with the rising cost of beef mints, which apparently
44:29
Speaker 4: has gone up more this year than it has since.
44:31
Speaker 4: You know, the increase is more this year. Then they
44:34
Speaker 4: first started counting back in two thousand and.
44:36
Speaker 3: Six, then they first started accounting when they.
44:38
Speaker 4: First started counting it, keeping stock on it. The myth
44:46
Speaker 4: she's she's bloody expensive now, whereas porkmants is not only
44:49
Speaker 4: more delicious but cheaper. So you know what they've done.
44:53
Speaker 4: They're mixing the two together and they are selling Borkman's.
44:58
Speaker 4: It's like a cheaper alternative to beef mints.
45:02
Speaker 3: They should call it beakments.
45:05
Speaker 4: Beakments. It's like the same thing, except a Jay's packs it.
45:13
Speaker 4: We've got that massive beakman. You got that home there,
45:18
Speaker 4: So how do you guys feel about mixing beef and
45:20
Speaker 4: pork together mints? Because I'm not I don't know. I'd
45:23
Speaker 4: rather just have the porkman's. Thanks, thanks very much.
45:25
Speaker 3: So what are they trying to achieve by doing that? Exactly?
45:28
Speaker 4: Making beef mints more more cost effective?
45:31
Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
45:32
Speaker 4: But it's like, hey, newsflash, just eat porkmants.
45:35
Speaker 3: But you yeah, I don't know about that.
45:38
Speaker 5: Actually depends what prices we're talking about here, Keithy, Very interesting,
45:42
Speaker 5: very interesting.
45:44
Speaker 3: They're calling that borkmants. You say, what about berkmant?
45:49
Speaker 4: Berkmans? What would that be?
45:51
Speaker 3: Beef and pork but just a better name Berkman's.
45:56
Speaker 4: What do you think on this? Jason? You're still sad
45:57
Speaker 4: about the beak comments even though you be going off
46:00
Speaker 4: about large Lett.
46:02
Speaker 3: Let's be honest, I what did Jake? That is an
46:04
Speaker 3: award winning Honker. I have.
46:08
Speaker 2: Absolutely no opinion on Borkman's.
46:12
Speaker 3: On what about what.
46:13
Speaker 2: I consider to be in my I don't know, fifteen
46:18
Speaker 2: year radio history the worst radio content I have ever
46:24
Speaker 2: had the misfortune of listening to.
46:26
Speaker 4: Did you hear Maggie's quip about what if it was
46:29
Speaker 4: Honkerman's then you'd be gobbling it up?
46:37
Speaker 3: Anyway?
46:37
Speaker 4: Yeah, Hey, Eds, the.
46:40
Speaker 1: Whole Achy Big Show with Jason Mike and Keyzy. Tune
46:43
Speaker 1: in week days at four on radio hold.
46:45
Speaker 2: Acs Ate chigainst the machine there on the radio Hodarchy
46:48
Speaker 2: Big Show this Monday evening, the time twenty six minutes
46:51
Speaker 2: past six o'clock. A sporting feast over the weekend. Fellers,
46:55
Speaker 2: let's get into it.
47:02
Speaker 4: Yeah, what do you want to start with? Their feelers?
47:07
Speaker 2: Well, I think we should obviously start probably with the
47:09
Speaker 2: football World Cup Spain, the Argentina drama, drama, drama as
47:16
Speaker 2: you'd expect for a World Cup final, tight of fair, tense,
47:20
Speaker 2: lots of dramas, send off but messy. The poor bastard
47:25
Speaker 2: didn't get the final sign off. He wanted Spain taking
47:29
Speaker 2: it out one million extra time.
47:31
Speaker 3: Do you watch the game, Jayson, No. I watched it
47:34
Speaker 3: and it was a down boring, boring affair.
47:38
Speaker 5: Weirdly, Argentina just sort of seemed to from the opening
47:42
Speaker 5: winner shut up shop and be aiming for a purity shootout.
47:46
Speaker 2: Right.
47:47
Speaker 3: They had zero.
47:48
Speaker 5: Attempts on goal in the entire game, where Spain had
47:52
Speaker 5: an excess of twenty attempts on goal. And when you
47:56
Speaker 5: look at the sort of who's in possession, they had
47:59
Speaker 5: that meter right, like who's dominating the game Spain dominated
48:03
Speaker 5: about not must be game wow. Anyway, it was bloody
48:07
Speaker 5: boring game MESSI one. I think last time around side,
48:10
Speaker 5: I don't care if he misses out this time let's
48:12
Speaker 5: talk about him coming back again.
48:14
Speaker 3: It's a shame.
48:14
Speaker 5: I enjoyed the World Cup generally speaking, but that was
48:16
Speaker 5: a shock.
48:18
Speaker 4: I found that they're boring.
48:20
Speaker 2: Final finals often are though, because the people don't they
48:24
Speaker 2: don't want to give it up. So that's a bout.
48:27
Speaker 2: The All Blacks versus the Irish very much looking forward
48:31
Speaker 2: to this test match. Some very encouraging signs I thought
48:35
Speaker 2: from the All Blacks. I've got to say Island were
48:37
Speaker 2: a bit off the game, a lot of drop ball
48:42
Speaker 2: and I don't know if that's because of the pressure
48:44
Speaker 2: we were putting on them, but they didn't have a
48:46
Speaker 2: great first half. It's only what I'm liking to prove
48:50
Speaker 2: on the flank. I think that's a that's a win win.
48:53
Speaker 2: I'm liking McKenzie at fallback. He's a dangerous bastard, always
48:57
Speaker 2: a threat.
48:58
Speaker 4: How good is mckens He always been he is just
49:01
Speaker 4: so he's a good part.
49:02
Speaker 3: He's always been a really good play my.
49:05
Speaker 4: Man in the match for that game everywhere and.
49:08
Speaker 2: Just some very encouraging signs. Of course, we're off to
49:11
Speaker 2: South Africa.
49:12
Speaker 4: Now that's going to be a test.
49:13
Speaker 5: I wait for this because it's an actual proper tour.
49:16
Speaker 5: So they're playing provinces. They've got three games before the
49:20
Speaker 5: first Test match, and they play each week. They've got
49:22
Speaker 5: the old dirt records they used to call them, so
49:24
Speaker 5: you get a midweek game as well.
49:26
Speaker 3: It's an old scored tour. About time they brought it.
49:27
Speaker 5: Back to make to make the All Black seasons a
49:31
Speaker 5: bit more interesting.
49:32
Speaker 4: Yeah, they're playing like the Sharks and the Stormers.
49:34
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's like.
49:37
Speaker 5: I think it's even like, it's even below that's sort
49:40
Speaker 5: of team it's like and yeah, which.
49:44
Speaker 2: Is even better as far as I'm concerned.
49:46
Speaker 3: Way bit not the history.
49:47
Speaker 5: Also this morning the black Caps wrapped up. There are
49:51
Speaker 5: five day one day series against the West Indies. They
49:55
Speaker 5: won it three to one. They by the one work
49:59
Speaker 5: at nine. I didn't get to watch any of that.
50:01
Speaker 5: Did you see any of that?
50:02
Speaker 3: Yeah? Bits of it. This Fisher, he's a young quickie.
50:06
Speaker 3: It looks good.
50:08
Speaker 2: He wrapped the off stump out of one of the
50:11
Speaker 2: West Indians. West Indies batsman so you know, you know,
50:14
Speaker 2: another good series victory over in Westerndies is not easy
50:17
Speaker 2: bending them in one days over there. Of course, we've
50:20
Speaker 2: just come off the Test series victory against England. Things
50:23
Speaker 2: going they retten nicely indeed for New Zealand cricket.
50:26
Speaker 4: I understand there's some UFC magive but just if anyone's
50:29
Speaker 4: listening right now, going, what about Foxy we've already chat about. Yeah, yeah,
50:32
Speaker 4: do you want to hear it? Check out? The podcast
50:34
Speaker 4: comes out at seven thirty tonight.
50:35
Speaker 5: Unt of pent and yes, there was a fight night,
50:38
Speaker 5: a UFC fight night yesterday. It was Driggers du Plus
50:43
Speaker 5: C versus kamaru Ousmandrigish. He is one of the blokes
50:49
Speaker 5: that's been in Israel Adasanya recently, but he got his
50:52
Speaker 5: beans about a year ago and has taken a whole
50:54
Speaker 5: year off.
50:55
Speaker 3: This is his first fight back. It was good.
50:56
Speaker 5: It went to decision over five rounds with Driggs TUO
50:59
Speaker 5: plus taking it out and possibly setting himself up for
51:02
Speaker 5: a rematch for the title.
51:04
Speaker 3: I enjoyed it. Actually not a big cad.
51:06

51:57
Speaker 2: Is that food they're bringing in there?
51:59
Speaker 4: Looks bringing outside the window here because people listening got
52:05
Speaker 4: no idea, they don't know.
52:06
Speaker 2: Well, I was just describing the fact that there might
52:08
Speaker 2: be food going past, all right.
52:12
Speaker 4: This one comes from anonymous. Get the feelers longtime email
52:16
Speaker 4: a first time listener. The old switcheroo. They're like, I
52:21
Speaker 4: found myself in a horror of a situation here. I've
52:23
Speaker 4: entered somewhat of a casual relationship with the youngest sister
52:27
Speaker 4: of my mate's partner. So his mate stating a check.
52:34
Speaker 5: I'm interested to see if the fact that it's the
52:36
Speaker 5: youngest sister comes into put younger sister just yeah, youngest
52:41
Speaker 5: or younger younger.
52:43
Speaker 4: They are quite different to each other physically, or so
52:46
Speaker 4: I thought. After a night of using some of the
52:49
Speaker 4: excellent tips from my childhood hero Steve Mudgway, Okay, Jason's
52:53
Speaker 4: character in seven Periods of Mister Gormsby, we endeavored to
52:57
Speaker 4: make way to home base. It was at this moment
53:00
Speaker 4: I realized that this young lady looks just like her
53:02
Speaker 4: sister in this particular lighting. Under this realization, my flag
53:08
Speaker 4: flew at half mast and I felt like a terrible
53:11
Speaker 4: human because I felt like I was sleeping with my
53:14
Speaker 4: mate's partner. Do I just been this whole situation or continue?
53:21
Speaker 4: She is anonymous.
53:22
Speaker 3: It's tricky, it's tricky.
53:25
Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think it's that tricky. I mean, well,
53:26
Speaker 4: it is tricky.
53:27
Speaker 5: Well, it is tricky based on what the reaction there is.
53:31
Speaker 3: He can't ah physically, yeah, yeah, yeah.
53:34
Speaker 5: I actually have a friend that this happened to without
53:36
Speaker 5: a word of a lie. He had a word of
53:38
Speaker 5: a lie. Now, the full story can't be told on
53:40
Speaker 5: the radio. Perhaps I can tell the story on the
53:43
Speaker 5: podcast tomorrow.
53:46
Speaker 3: But the long and the short of.
53:47
Speaker 5: It was, he had my mate, we had a we
53:53
Speaker 5: had a mate. There's a group of mates. One of
53:56
Speaker 5: the mates has also has a system, and one of
54:01
Speaker 5: the mates became.
54:03
Speaker 3: Very very friendly with the sister.
54:05
Speaker 5: Yeah, and a similar, very very similar thing happened. Now
54:10
Speaker 5: you see in this situation, he's saying that there's a
54:14
Speaker 5: family resemblance a similar thing.
54:17
Speaker 3: Was the issue? Right?
54:20
Speaker 4: But was that in your situation? Was the mat Was
54:22
Speaker 4: it a guy with a sister?
54:24
Speaker 3: Yeah?
54:25
Speaker 4: Well this is at least two sisters, you know what
54:26
Speaker 4: I mean?
54:27
Speaker 2: Yeah?
54:27
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Jase, what's your read on this.
54:35
Speaker 3: Straight?
54:35
Speaker 5: Well, look, your body, your body has made the decision
54:40
Speaker 5: for you.
54:40
Speaker 3: Your mind has made.
54:43
Speaker 2: Yes, a decision for your body.
54:45
Speaker 5: Now it's not it's not correct, but it's also actually
54:48
Speaker 5: quite good because it means that you know you are
54:52
Speaker 5: a good human being and it feels like you'll be
54:55
Speaker 5: cheating with your mate partner. Yes, so you're making your
54:58
Speaker 5: body is making the right decision on your behalf even
55:00
Speaker 5: though it's actually wrong.
55:01
Speaker 2: Well yes, and and also yeah, because he's not doing
55:03
Speaker 2: anything wrong here. No, and so there should be no
55:06
Speaker 2: there should be no guilt attached to this scenario. He's
55:10
Speaker 2: only creating the guilt in his own mind. His mind
55:13
Speaker 2: is betraying him.
55:14
Speaker 4: The mate's partner might also be a very attractive woman.
55:18
Speaker 3: Being attractive? Oh wow, was that bad?
55:22
Speaker 4: Is that saying? Is it?
55:26
Speaker 5: Wo?
55:28
Speaker 3: Oh?
55:29
Speaker 4: I mean she might be ugly?
55:31
Speaker 6: Ah.
55:34
Speaker 1: The Huriarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarchy.

Speaker 3: The felt in no way are we.
56:11
Speaker 2: You know, claiming anything good or bad about drug you are?
56:15
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm saying I'm deeply paranoid of them.
56:18
Speaker 3: You love them?
56:20
Speaker 4: Yes, So it was the Hoidy J. Druggy Special. Yeah,
56:24
Speaker 4: we just sort of just went through all the drugs
56:26
Speaker 4: he's done in his time and the effects and whatnot.
56:28
Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, yes, indeed, go and check that out. It's
56:30
Speaker 2: a hell of a podcast, mare no diendns maybe and
56:35
Speaker 2: then he tacked up in bed with.
56:37
Speaker 3: Your little hole water ball and then you.
56:39
Speaker 2: Know, have a nice little snooze till sex in the morning.
56:42
Speaker 5: I've got well, no, it'll be waking up fifty times
56:45
Speaker 5: between now and then. But I've got an electric blanket.
56:47
Speaker 5: Do you guys run an electric blanket?
56:48
Speaker 3: No? No, no, no you don't either. Love a little
56:51
Speaker 3: bit of an electric blank.
56:53
Speaker 4: Because I keep hopping into bed and being frozen. You
56:55
Speaker 4: know what my sheets and I think the cotton.
56:57
Speaker 5: But you don't. You don't run a flannel it either.
56:59
Speaker 5: So you're doing a couple of shops. Are you run
57:02
Speaker 5: the same kind of sheets a year round?
57:03
Speaker 3: Yeah?
57:03
Speaker 4: I run really nice Condon sheets, which my wife loves.
57:06
Speaker 4: But they're just freezing sleep naked.
57:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, so I just nestle in feel so do.
57:11
Speaker 4: I've had to start nestling as well?
57:13
Speaker 5: Yeah? You want to, but get in the game. Oh yes,
57:16
Speaker 5: it makes you look forward to being So that's bloody good.
57:17
Speaker 5: So I might sleep in there and watch a bit
57:19
Speaker 5: of Tally on my laptop.
57:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, good stuff.
57:22
Speaker 2: Mate, kezy, some some terrible dinner and then maybe red wine,
57:28
Speaker 2: a bit of gaming.
57:29
Speaker 4: Do I probably would have been a gaming tonight because
57:31
Speaker 4: I went on breakfast this week Fellers. So my wife
57:33
Speaker 4: will got a bit, I'll stab late and do some
57:36
Speaker 4: do do, get in the chat rooms, get in the
57:38
Speaker 4: chat rooms.
57:39
Speaker 3: My hamstring, my where's the wizard? Where's the wizard? Where's
57:46
Speaker 3: the wizards?
57:46
Speaker 4: I've blown a hamstring. Where's the wizard? But yeah, James,
57:50
Speaker 4: what about you to know?
57:51
Speaker 7: Man?
57:51
Speaker 4: What's the plans.
57:52
Speaker 2: I'm just gonna eat like a peg tonight. I'm stabb
57:55
Speaker 2: at so the usual. Yeah, well I might not usually eat.
57:58
Speaker 3: Like a peg.
58:00
