- 3:37Speaker 1: beating the rush.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Having up for hours. I actually haven't even gotten in yet.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I got it. I know, well, we've quoted that line
- 3:49Speaker 3: before and I felt to do it again.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's great. It's a good call back. Now people have
- 3:55Speaker 2: to go back and listen to the episodes and then
- 3:57Speaker 2: go when did this line?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Which and which was it? It was either one yeah,
- 4:01Speaker 1: exactly nine yeah, one of those. I forget which new shoes.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Francis I bought them a couple of weeks ago.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Those Janowski's.
- 4:11Speaker 3: No, they are blazers.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Lasers.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Lazer sounds like maybe blazer.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I hardly know.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That's that's what Gillian Wallace say about fucking a girl.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They say that. They say that they blazed a bitch,
- 4:26Speaker 1: glazed and blazed WHOA blaze is when you jizzed on them,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and blaze is when you fucked them.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Really.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I used to blaze weed, and I thought that that
- 4:35Speaker 1: was the reason why I was like scatterbrained, and then
- 4:38Speaker 1: I stopped smoking weed and I continued to be scatter brains.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 4:42Speaker 2: You should go back to start smoking the kosh again.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I know.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I am back on that train.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Smoking the ganja.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, earth, and I'll tell you what, it's every bit
- 4:51Speaker 3: as good as I ever thought it was. Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You ever get scared every single night's? Do you do it? Though?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Cannot recall a time where I was high recently and
- 5:03Speaker 3: did not feel earth shattering anxiety.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but uh, every time I smoke, we'd have to
- 5:11Speaker 2: like manually put myself to bed.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Just like like I have to.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I have to, like I lay in bed for like
- 5:18Speaker 2: two hours and then I go, all right, it's time
- 5:20Speaker 2: to go to sleep now, and then I have to
- 5:22Speaker 2: sit there and like focus on going to bed or else.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm just like, man, I wonder if I hit that
- 5:28Speaker 2: pocket at the river next week? And what fly should
- 5:32Speaker 2: I use? Like it's like me having the most deep,
- 5:35Speaker 2: like nonsense thoughts for just hours.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Did I remember to do the tag? You know, four
- 5:44Speaker 1: weeks ago? It's definitely some dumb shit like that.
- 5:47Speaker 3: For me, it's like the shirt instructions for cleaning said
- 5:52Speaker 3: to lay it flat, but I have hooked it around
- 5:57Speaker 3: one of the bars on my drying rack, which means
- 6:00Speaker 3: that both sides are falling straight down. And this that
- 6:04Speaker 3: mean gravity is going to stretch my shirt longer to
- 6:08Speaker 3: make it look like I persa to sit in Los Angeles.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Like the Dave Chappelle shirt that just goes down to
- 6:13Speaker 2: your fucking knees.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, the Hillsong shirt.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Those shirts are crazy to me.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Those like we've also referenced and that was an episode.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah or one. Those have been a common topic, but
- 6:25Speaker 2: it makes like they have to be. You gotta discuss
- 6:27Speaker 2: those shirts. I get self conscious when my shirt goes
- 6:31Speaker 2: like halfway, it goes below the halfway point of my fly.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And those dudes are rocking shirts that are like like
- 6:39Speaker 2: if you cut them, they fit normal, but then they
- 6:41Speaker 2: just for some reason, they go down to your knees.
- 6:45Speaker 1: But I mean that's like almost an old observation. Head
- 6:49Speaker 1: os are wearing belly shirts these days. Oh yeah, but
- 6:51Speaker 1: that's been a thing, but I mean it's more it's
- 6:54Speaker 1: more relevant than is it the long shirts head roes
- 6:57Speaker 1: and belly shirts.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Are people really doing that though, or is that like, yeah, bro,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I feel like that was like two years ago that
- 7:02Speaker 2: was popular.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's popular, and Owen back me up on this, bro.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I haven't seen that in a while.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I haven't seen it.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I haven't seen a lot of heteroes and belly shirts.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Like maybe like a football player perhaps that was the
- 7:12Speaker 2: eighties style. In NCAA, they have the dudes that do
- 7:15Speaker 2: you know, like how like if you watch like training
- 7:17Speaker 2: camp videos, they like tuck their shirts up and their stomachs.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Are hanging out, which is sweet.
- 7:22Speaker 2: They have dudes doing that in game, which is not
- 7:25Speaker 2: a thing. You don't do that in games.
- 7:26Speaker 1: They used to, Yeah, they used to, like in the nineties.
- 7:29Speaker 2: In the nineties, not in twenty twenty five.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's back Oakman. What about Oakman's fucking taste the ass
- 7:35Speaker 1: and they.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Have like they have like corners wearing a fucking sweatshirt
- 7:39Speaker 2: under their pat it's like a hoodie.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Fashion is cyclical. Why would if that's happening in the
- 7:44Speaker 3: fashion world, why wouldn't it be happening with football jerseys?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Because I watched football and I've never seen a corner
- 7:49Speaker 2: wearing a sweat a hoodie under his sweatshirt.
- 7:51Speaker 3: But you weren't a lot the last time that that
- 7:53Speaker 3: was in vogue.
- 7:54Speaker 2: But it's twenty twenty five.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And exactly the amount of years later that it would
- 8:00Speaker 3: make sense for it to be back.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Right. Well, if we see a game played, say if
- 8:05Speaker 2: we see a game in Florida where the corner is
- 8:09Speaker 2: wearing a hoodie under his pads, I'll give you one
- 8:13Speaker 2: million dollars.
- 8:14Speaker 1: They probably wear a shisty because those boys have to
- 8:17Speaker 1: run drills after their fucking games. But also it's like.
- 8:20Speaker 2: A thousand degrees down there.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But it probably got outlawed because the boosters were getting
- 8:25Speaker 1: horny seeing the guy's mid drifts. The fucking the money
- 8:28Speaker 1: men up in the boxes were getting horny as hell
- 8:30Speaker 1: seeing fucking the.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I'm just saying, there's a lot of problems with NCAA
- 8:34Speaker 2: that have lead dressed. Yeah, the uniform is one of
- 8:37Speaker 2: the biggest ones. What are you trying to do, Francis.
- 8:38Speaker 3: You can never get the mic to the right distance
- 8:41Speaker 3: from my face.
- 8:42Speaker 2: It's pretty easy. Let me show you how to do it.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Nope, I don't want to talk about it anymore.
- 8:45Speaker 2: It also looks like it's in the exact spot that
- 8:48Speaker 2: you would need it.
- 8:48Speaker 3: It just makes me feel cost for Probrick. I'm sorry.
- 8:51Speaker 1: He would have got away with it too, if it
- 8:52Speaker 1: weren't for you fucking medaling kids over there.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I'm always like, I'm always like talking to the mic
- 8:57Speaker 2: stand like, I'm always adjusting it as I go. That's yeah, stage,
- 9:01Speaker 2: you guys, you guys, Yeah, you guys. You sit down
- 9:04Speaker 2: and you just use exactly what Because I know you're
- 9:08Speaker 2: hugging the you're hugging the edge of that couch. I
- 9:10Speaker 2: know you'd like to be This is a shorter fucking arm. No, no,
- 9:13Speaker 2: yes it is. It looks like show you it looks
- 9:15Speaker 2: like it from your appearance. That's a velocirapp This is
- 9:18Speaker 2: a short This is the t Rex, your dumb ass.
- 9:21Speaker 2: This was t Rex and then I adjusted it. It's brother,
- 9:27Speaker 2: and it's not my fault that you guys don't understand
- 9:28Speaker 2: a simple.
- 9:31Speaker 3: God damn orangutang over here dragging his knuckles on the ground.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It's a and this is the shortest there's this is
- 9:38Speaker 1: we're three little bears in it. Okay, yours is just right,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and it's fucking easy for you.
- 9:43Speaker 2: To I made it just right.
- 9:45Speaker 1: No, this is shorter than that one.
- 9:48Speaker 3: You intentionally chose the mic that everyone knows is just right.
- 9:52Speaker 2: No, this was the cord was wrapped around. I unwrapped
- 9:55Speaker 2: it and fixed it so I could extend this further.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and you, as a bad friend, didn't do the
- 10:00Speaker 3: same for us. You have the skills. What do you
- 10:03Speaker 3: adjust our mics?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Well, I'm aware that yours is shorter than mine actively,
- 10:08Speaker 2: but I'm saying that you could make it longer.
- 10:12Speaker 1: For for such a smart guy. You are a fucking
- 10:14Speaker 1: bumbling idiot.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I think this is crazy.
- 10:18Speaker 3: It's a valeable concess.
- 10:19Speaker 2: It's just like shocking to see fucking artist Clay two
- 10:22Speaker 2: guys who've never heard of lefty loose righty tights.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Has nothing to do with that.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's a pure all that has to do with It's
- 10:30Speaker 2: literally it's this. You go, Oh, I guess I could
- 10:33Speaker 2: loosen this and extend it out. I switched, then, cockboy,
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm not gonna switch. I've already adjusted my microphone to
- 10:39Speaker 2: my liking.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I can't get any smaller here, I can't get any smaller.
- 10:43Speaker 3: There's a this is the end of the road.
- 10:45Speaker 2: No, the one below it. If you loosened that, you
- 10:48Speaker 2: could push your thing in Oh, it's like this might
- 10:53Speaker 2: have been the first This was up there with the wheel,
- 10:58Speaker 2: Like this was created a day after the wheel was created.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Adjustable mic stands.
- 11:04Speaker 2: How do I get the mic to stop flip f
- 11:06Speaker 2: That's a task that I have not figured out. Oh,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I don't think anyone on earth.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Has and my well, mine doesn't at all.
- 11:13Speaker 3: This is so much better. Yeah, yeah, I needed that, But.
- 11:18Speaker 1: It also would have been fine if your add ass
- 11:21Speaker 1: couldn't have just didn't fixate on it.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I was totally hot. You guys are the ones that
- 11:25Speaker 2: are bitching and moaning about it.
- 11:26Speaker 1: He was just talking and you're like, what are you
- 11:27Speaker 1: doing with your mic?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, interrupted to be like what are you doing with
- 11:31Speaker 1: your mic?
- 11:32Speaker 2: It would have been fine. No one would have known
- 11:34Speaker 2: we were fine, That's true.
- 11:37Speaker 1: No one would have been any the wiser. Anyway, I
- 11:39Speaker 1: was walking around my apartment this morning for like nine
- 11:41Speaker 1: minutes looking for my headphones and they were around my
- 11:43Speaker 1: fucking neck. Ah, And I wasn't high, and normally I
- 11:47Speaker 1: would be high as fucking the morning, be like where's
- 11:49Speaker 1: my ship? And it was a because I was trying
- 11:51Speaker 1: to smoke as much as possible before I left the
- 11:53Speaker 1: apartment to kind of give me the push I needed
- 11:55Speaker 1: for the rest of the day, just to fucking let
- 11:58Speaker 1: me coast that the fucking well.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Maybe you could go back to weed and just do
- 12:01Speaker 2: like nights only four twenty.
- 12:04Speaker 1: That's the original thought of four twenty. I think that
- 12:06Speaker 1: you get your shit done for the day and then
- 12:07Speaker 1: you smoke at four twenty.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yeah, like happy hour.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It's like happy hour for your lungs, but a little
- 12:12Speaker 1: earlier than happy hour happy hour for your fear. Yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 2: But like, I think that's probably the problem as to
- 12:18Speaker 2: why you felt bad about the weed, because you were
- 12:20Speaker 2: trying to smoke as much as you possibly could before
- 12:23Speaker 2: leaving for work.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And like, as soon as I got up, like ass
- 12:27Speaker 1: would hit toilet and I'd be just fucking.
- 12:31Speaker 3: How did you get there? Was it gradual or did
- 12:34Speaker 3: you become where did you hit that pace and frequent started?
- 12:38Speaker 1: Well, toilet smoking early in the morning started. I think,
- 12:42Speaker 1: like when I was in college, I would like I
- 12:46Speaker 1: discovered the smoke and a Marlborough red on the toilet
- 12:48Speaker 1: fucking made me fucking empty, evacuate my bowels like that,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and it I think it turned into this Pavlovian response
- 12:57Speaker 1: where I needed to be smoking something on the john
- 12:59Speaker 1: just if I can empty my asshole and makes sense.
- 13:02Speaker 1: It's a great joy in life. You kind of get
- 13:04Speaker 1: lost in there fucking catch yourself in the mirror another
- 13:06Speaker 1: twenty minutes just fucking looking at the pores on your
- 13:09Speaker 1: nose like that. It was nice, but uh, I freed
- 13:12Speaker 1: myself from that that loop. But still scatter brained dude.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I got new light bulbs for my apartment yesterday, and
- 13:20Speaker 2: I i the ones in my bathroom. I have, like
- 13:23Speaker 2: there's just three light bulbs above the mirror, and I
- 13:27Speaker 2: got like they're a little too bright, Like they're much
- 13:31Speaker 2: brighter than.
- 13:31Speaker 1: The last light, white, yellow color light.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and now I turn on the light in my
- 13:37Speaker 2: bathroom and I can't even like look in that direction.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I can't look in the mirror because it's like blindingly bright.
- 13:42Speaker 2: You got the one twenties, Yeah, yeah, it's so bright.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You need a soft light and maybe even a yellow
- 13:49Speaker 1: light if you're not a girl. You don't need a
- 13:51Speaker 1: white light to do now doing makeup.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Or white lights a little match.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's surgical.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Yeah. I understand that the incandescent bulbs burn a lot longer,
- 14:00Speaker 3: more energy efficiently, but the older yellow lights look the
- 14:06Speaker 3: cast a far more flattering.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yes, definitely much warmer. Press Are people still warm?
- 14:12Speaker 1: More and warm? And then this one cold his eyes? Yeah,
- 14:18Speaker 1: interrogative like we're about to get sliced open on a table?
- 14:21Speaker 2: Are people? Are people still using the spinny the spiral
- 14:25Speaker 2: circle light? Yeah, that was supposed to be like the
- 14:28Speaker 2: future of light for a while when they first dropped.
- 14:32Speaker 2: This is going to save the whole world.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Kids in Africa won't be starving anywhere because they'll be
- 14:38Speaker 1: so hot that KB Lame just came up as an
- 14:41Speaker 1: African kid who was just like, now I'm hot as fuck? Yeah,
- 14:43Speaker 1: is he a circle light?
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Because the spiral light saved my life.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Like even like that. They were like GQ magazine shoots
- 14:50Speaker 1: when and I would like open the magazine and like
- 14:53Speaker 1: I was shocked at how fucking vivid people's faces looked.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And they just added like a little circle on your
- 15:00Speaker 1: fucking pupil. Yeah, people people looked so hot because of
- 15:03Speaker 1: those lights. I think they have to exist, but maybe
- 15:05Speaker 1: people got wise to them.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I don't know what was the point of them. They
- 15:08Speaker 2: lasted longer.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Are we talking about the same thing?
- 15:11Speaker 2: I don't think so we're not I'm talking about you're
- 15:13Speaker 2: talking about a ring light.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm talking about a ring light.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I'm talking about the actual light bulb that was spiral.
- 15:18Speaker 3: This is incredible. I actually knew what both of you
- 15:21Speaker 3: were talking about and chose not to fix it.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Me the first time that's ever happened.
- 15:28Speaker 2: You know, the spiral lights, Yeah, the spiral I know
- 15:30Speaker 2: what you're talking about now, the spir like Yeah, they
- 15:33Speaker 2: look like those were supposed to like save the world.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I thought the ring light was supposed to.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Say, did they kill people? Oh? I don't know.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That's how they stayed uh, stayed on for so long.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I worked out two days ago in the city and
- 15:53Speaker 3: then put my I changed at the gym, and then
- 15:56Speaker 3: I put my dirty clothes in my backpack and then
- 16:00Speaker 3: forgot to take them out. Yeah, and two days later
- 16:04Speaker 3: this morning, I opened my backpack and it was as
- 16:07Speaker 3: if there was a biological weapon in the bag. I
- 16:13Speaker 3: don't think that there is a way to save the
- 16:16Speaker 3: shirts and short that I wore. It's a scent I've
- 16:20Speaker 3: never experienced before. It's so bad, it's so much worse
- 16:26Speaker 3: than anything.
- 16:27Speaker 1: What is it?
- 16:27Speaker 3: What I pulled them out of my bag, and my
- 16:30Speaker 3: fingers stank through three hand washes.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like when you eat a Durian when.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Fruit. Yeah, uh so, I don't really know what to
- 16:39Speaker 3: do about that. Do you guys use scent, a detergent
- 16:42Speaker 3: and or fabric softener when you do your laundry?
- 16:45Speaker 2: I don't do my own laundry. Do you guys? Have
- 16:48Speaker 2: you do? You both have laundry in house?
- 16:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:51Speaker 2: All right, I'm definitely gonna come over to one of
- 16:53Speaker 2: your guys places and do my laundry.
- 16:54Speaker 1: My laundry machine is like this big. Though I need,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I can't. I have to like wash, I can wash
- 16:59Speaker 1: like half a sh shirt at a time.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have the amount. I don't have enough
- 17:03Speaker 2: clothes to go and drop off all of my clothes
- 17:07Speaker 2: and then get it back like three days later. Dude,
- 17:11Speaker 2: I haven't like what am I supposed to wear during
- 17:13Speaker 2: that period? Do you ever? Do you walking around in
- 17:16Speaker 2: like you skin tight shirt like and one basketball shorts
- 17:21Speaker 2: like nothing else?
- 17:22Speaker 3: A couple? You could buy more clothes, yeah, or get
- 17:28Speaker 3: into a habit of doing your laundry more frequently.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't wear I wear the same clothes
- 17:34Speaker 2: all the time.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Right, So my question would be, do you just wear
- 17:37Speaker 3: them dirty most of the time.
- 17:39Speaker 2: No, I don't believe I'll cycle through.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But I also think you're the perfect person to have
- 17:45Speaker 1: this problem, because if you send away all of your
- 17:47Speaker 1: clothes except for one outfit, and three days later you
- 17:50Speaker 1: get your clothes back for those three days, no one
- 17:53Speaker 1: will have noticed because you always wear the same clothes
- 17:56Speaker 1: for three days straight.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think it might appear that I do,
- 17:59Speaker 2: but actually.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Don't, because you have variants of the New England Patriots.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Well, like I'm wearing the same sweatshirt, but you can
- 18:06Speaker 2: wear the same sweatshirt multiple times in a row, or
- 18:11Speaker 2: are you guys? You guys wear a sweatshirt once and
- 18:13Speaker 2: you clean it. No, no, no, yeah exactly.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I saw a guy who has like a pair of
- 18:18Speaker 1: Japanese denim jeans that he's like never won.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you gotta put him in the freezer.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Turn him inside out, dust him with baking soda, wrap
- 18:26Speaker 3: him in rubber bands real tight, keep him in the
- 18:28Speaker 3: freezer for six weeks.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So crazy.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And this guy wears them. He he like errates them
- 18:34Speaker 1: and hangs them on a door like he makes like
- 18:36Speaker 1: a mannequin shell of them and like hangs them on
- 18:40Speaker 1: a door every single day. He's never washed them, and
- 18:42Speaker 1: they look pretty good. I guess you have to respect Denim.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know anything about it. Do
- 18:46Speaker 2: you respect him?
- 18:47Speaker 1: I don't really respect them them.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I don't respect them. I don't really.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I actually washed some jeans the other day, and you
- 18:53Speaker 3: know what, when they come out, they're.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Fine, a little bit tighter.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I don't dry them, obviously, and I do turn them
- 18:59Speaker 3: inside out, but that's mostly because all the sweat from
- 19:01Speaker 3: my legs is hitting the inside of the jeans. It
- 19:04Speaker 3: makes sense to me to turn them inside out.
- 19:07Speaker 1: When when you got your clothes really stinky and dirty,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you think you're like releasing something, you know what I mean?
- 19:15Speaker 3: Like it could be, it could be. I don't know.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I had a very good workout and I poured into
- 19:21Speaker 3: those clothes.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Were you wearing jeans while you were working out?
- 19:24Speaker 1: That's what you're supposed to do.
- 19:25Speaker 2: It was Indian style I was wearing.
- 19:27Speaker 1: It's the best type of workout crush, a leather vest
- 19:33Speaker 1: in jeans.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Jeans and a tucked in polo loafers.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Talking about the different Indians.
- 19:40Speaker 3: All those guys look like they're doing physical therapy at
- 19:43Speaker 3: the Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they work out hard. I remember going
- 19:47Speaker 2: to a blink and I remember a lady showed up
- 19:49Speaker 2: who was like clearly about to go out, and she
- 19:52Speaker 2: was wearing high heels and a dress and she was
- 19:54Speaker 2: doing squats to like get an ass pump in. Swear
- 19:57Speaker 2: to god, I swear on my life. I think I
- 19:59Speaker 2: have a photo of it on my old phone.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Bring it in.
- 20:03Speaker 3: You're like one of those guys that goes viral for
- 20:05Speaker 3: trying to take it.
- 20:06Speaker 2: No, I would never post it online, but I was like,
- 20:08Speaker 2: I gotta just broadcast it on my podcast. Yeah, well
- 20:11Speaker 2: this was like four years.
- 20:12Speaker 1: She's definitely a listener. She's definitely self conscious.
- 20:14Speaker 2: This is when I lived in East Village.
- 20:16Speaker 1: It was probably had her ass popping that night. She
- 20:19Speaker 1: probably got freaking laid.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I couldn't tell if it was she was going out
- 20:24Speaker 2: and it was a personal thing, or if there was
- 20:26Speaker 2: like a hitting camera somewhere and it was like a
- 20:28Speaker 2: social experiment. She was doing squats with high heels on
- 20:31Speaker 2: sometimes shoot a print dress.
- 20:33Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 20:34Speaker 1: It probably is a better workout, like it probably helps
- 20:36Speaker 1: your stayble.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Oh absolutely, yeah, it's like doing squats on one of
- 20:40Speaker 2: those like half balls.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, we're like going back onto it, like doing
- 20:45Speaker 1: a split spot and going back onto your toe or
- 20:47Speaker 1: something like, yeah, yeah, going that's what they recommend.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It's like calf raises and squats at the same time.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But Francis, I had a stinky streak when I started
- 20:55Speaker 1: doing cold showers. I would drive myself off and then
- 20:59Speaker 1: the fuck and towel would stink, and I had no
- 21:02Speaker 1: idea what was going on. And my buddy Mike was like,
- 21:05Speaker 1: you're probably releasing something, like something's probably coming at you,
- 21:07Speaker 1: maybe some kind of toxin or some shit like that.
- 21:10Speaker 1: And since I like, since then when I do cold showers,
- 21:12Speaker 1: doesn't stink anymore. Maybe I just got.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Rid of it. All the toxins are gone.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Maybe I killed the toxins like a fucking worm in
- 21:18Speaker 1: my gut or some shit like.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I don't know the answer to that question. I know
- 21:23Speaker 3: that if a certain amount of time passes, our dog
- 21:27Speaker 3: Ruby her anal glands fish smelling fluid that is quite
- 21:33Speaker 3: revolting and impossible for me to actually uh express the glands.
- 21:41Speaker 3: She doesn't like it when I put my fingers into
- 21:43Speaker 3: her rectum.
- 21:45Speaker 1: And she's been doing cold showers, right, she does plunges.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, she does lukewarm. She does lukewarm. By the way,
- 21:52Speaker 3: I got a cold plunge and it's awesome.
- 21:54Speaker 2: You did it.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I got one.
- 21:56Speaker 2: What you got, the expensive one, the redwood.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I'm fucking happy for you, dude.
- 22:01Speaker 3: It is awesome. And I the first ninety seconds is
- 22:05Speaker 3: a little a little tough, but then I become very peaceful.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I find it very peaceful.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Well, make sure you don't get that that you don't
- 22:14Speaker 1: stay too still and get the exothermic show.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I don't know anything about that.
- 22:19Speaker 1: When you stay too too still, the water around your
- 22:21Speaker 1: body gets warm. Oh we won't, So you gotta be
- 22:25Speaker 1: waving your fucking arms around like you're doing Tai cheek,
- 22:28Speaker 1: like an old Chinese guy at the park.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I have to get still. I have to.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I know. I took a lukewarm shower the other day
- 22:36Speaker 2: because I had a rash.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I think that's actually hard. I think cold showers are
- 22:40Speaker 3: harder than a cold tub. Because I'm immersed and used
- 22:44Speaker 3: to it, I could see that cold shower is just
- 22:47Speaker 3: NonStop torture.
- 22:48Speaker 2: This wasn't even cold though, This was like just not hot,
- 22:51Speaker 2: and I was like I was like making noises in
- 22:53Speaker 2: the shower because of how uncomfortable it was. What kind
- 22:56Speaker 2: of noise is like it was brutal. I don't know.
- 23:01Speaker 2: I couldn't imagine doing cold. I also was in a
- 23:06Speaker 2: hotel recently and there it just didn't get well. In
- 23:08Speaker 2: Austin just didn't get hot. That's when a Portnoy's pet
- 23:12Speaker 2: pieces my pet peeve. Shower pressure. Yeah, water pressure is
- 23:16Speaker 2: huge in a hotel because when you go to like
- 23:19Speaker 2: if you live in I live in the apartment I
- 23:21Speaker 2: live in, clearly it's it doesn't have great water pressure.
- 23:24Speaker 2: So going on the road one of the best things
- 23:26Speaker 2: is like I'm gonna get a good shower. Yeah, and
- 23:28Speaker 2: this was worse than my shower at home.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Do you remember you'll know this that the University of
- 23:34Speaker 3: Pennsylvania U Penn's football team plays in a stadium that
- 23:37Speaker 3: used to be where the Eagles played Franklnfield. Correct, And
- 23:41Speaker 3: we played Penn in lacrosse my freshman year, and we
- 23:45Speaker 3: played in that stadium.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Which is like where the pen relays are held. It's
- 23:49Speaker 1: like from it's like the coliseum.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah, huge, just two sides that go way up. I
- 23:55Speaker 3: don't think there were ends.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Maybe not.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I don't think it's a full stadium all the way round. Maybe,
- 24:00Speaker 3: but it's big going up on both you know, sidelines.
- 24:05Speaker 3: And we got beaten. We beat We lost to pen
- 24:09Speaker 3: and the visitor locker room that they had us in
- 24:12Speaker 3: had the coldest showers and only freezing cold showers. Felt
- 24:18Speaker 3: like they were punishing us.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Why the fuck do they? I mean it probably is
- 24:23Speaker 1: just to make it harder for the opposing players.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we'd already lost, but that I feel
- 24:29Speaker 3: like tough if we had beaten them, Okay, yeah, hit us.
- 24:34Speaker 1: With the cold water, but insult to injury.
- 24:36Speaker 3: You guys won give us the good stuff. Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I feel like next.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Time, though, that'll have you being like like, oh, Jay,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you wanted to fucking do that ship to us?
- 24:46Speaker 3: It was so unpleasant. And you don't get clean from
- 24:50Speaker 3: super super cold water.
- 24:52Speaker 2: To your point, right, do you not get clean at all?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Like it has to be hot.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Well if you're wearing like sweaty lacrosse pads and I
- 25:01Speaker 3: black and sweaty.
- 25:04Speaker 1: The first time I worked as a dishwasher, I was like,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I didn't want to have my hands in the fucking
- 25:09Speaker 1: super hot water the first day, and so it was
- 25:12Speaker 1: like on like kind of lukewarm cold water and like
- 25:14Speaker 1: it just doesn't Like someone came in. They're like, didn't
- 25:16Speaker 1: anyone ever teach you like the water has to be
- 25:18Speaker 1: like boiling hot to get like the grub off all
- 25:20Speaker 1: the dishes. It cleans better if it's super hot.
- 25:23Speaker 2: They flame you for that ship and you work at
- 25:25Speaker 2: a restaurant and you don't want to like it.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Didn't you know that?
- 25:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:28Speaker 2: I remember when I I used to have to do
- 25:30Speaker 2: the panini press, and I remember I would like put
- 25:33Speaker 2: gloves on to grab its because I didn't want to
- 25:35Speaker 2: burn my hands, and then like a girl would come
- 25:37Speaker 2: over and just like put her entire hand on the burning.
- 25:40Speaker 1: So I just grab a lobster the nests and they
- 25:45Speaker 1: get used to it.
- 25:47Speaker 3: My mom is like that. I used to watch her
- 25:49Speaker 3: and I'd go after take over for the dishes and
- 25:51Speaker 3: feel the water and I was like, are you a
- 25:53Speaker 3: fucking blacksmith?
- 25:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:56Speaker 3: Girls, this numbness.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Girls take showers that are like at like ten thousand degrees.
- 26:01Speaker 2: That's a fact.
- 26:02Speaker 3: And I don't know if you know this. The wage
- 26:04Speaker 3: gap is a myth. Oh really Yeah, people are really
- 26:07Speaker 3: trumping that up to try to create some kind of
- 26:09Speaker 3: I don't know, bullshit over correction, but in my experience,
- 26:13Speaker 3: women are exactly where they need to be.
- 26:15Speaker 1: So if the wage gap is a myth and we
- 26:17Speaker 1: start overpaying women because of the wage gap, then that
- 26:20Speaker 1: means that there's a wage deficit for men.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Correct, which to me makes me think we should change
- 26:27Speaker 3: the tax code. And Kamala should not be anywhere near the.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Whitewhere near the White House or godence supposed to speak tonight, Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 2: supposed do.
- 26:37Speaker 3: These AI videos are getting better and better.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I'm glad that you're that you're enjoying them. Have you
- 26:43Speaker 2: ever seen the old ones, like the ones where they
- 26:45Speaker 2: when it like when I know you've seen them, like
- 26:48Speaker 2: the really old not really old, it's probably a year old.
- 26:52Speaker 2: But it was like right when the AI voice thing
- 26:54Speaker 2: dropped and people were doing the ones of him talking
- 26:56Speaker 2: about weed. Oh, Biden's the funny it was when I
- 27:01Speaker 2: watched the Lebron ones a lot.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Those ones are pretty funy. Those ones are talking about like.
- 27:08Speaker 2: They just did one of that for Trump. Lebron talking
- 27:12Speaker 2: about Trump. He's like I told Donald, I said, I
- 27:15Speaker 2: would I think you got to cancel your rally tonight.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I think something's gonna go down.
- 27:23Speaker 1: They're good too.
- 27:24Speaker 2: These are this is a.
- 27:27Speaker 9: I got a twelve pack of that Gorilla that ship
- 27:29Speaker 9: you can only find walking along the Hashish transport paths
- 27:32Speaker 9: and Azerbaijan. I'm smoking on Bootany's Shadow Garden growing.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Dark Evil pack.
- 27:37Speaker 9: They watered this with the blood of thirty six dragons
- 27:40Speaker 9: ships so purple it should be asking me where's Ronald?
- 27:46Speaker 1: And like, comparatively, that's like watching a football game on
- 27:50Speaker 1: TV in the seventies. I know how good the shit
- 27:52Speaker 1: is now, like that's like almost sounds shitty.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I know that was like right when it's when people
- 27:57Speaker 2: started doing that though, right when people started doing like
- 27:59Speaker 2: the Ai voice of or shit.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Dude. The fact that like when he comes on, they
- 28:02Speaker 3: put him at the oval oppice of the desk and
- 28:05Speaker 3: he's there and he's like, my fellow Americans, fuck you.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's got to be confusing for old, really old people.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah, he's probably like when did I say, I don't remember?
- 28:15Speaker 2: Was I smoking on acromellical? Sh It's so purple it
- 28:19Speaker 2: has me ask him where's Ronald?
- 28:24Speaker 1: That is hilarious, But uh, I feel like if you're
- 28:27Speaker 1: an old person, I feel like you almost have to be.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of old people are kind
- 28:31Speaker 1: of banded together, being like he wasn't that bad, or like, uh,
- 28:35Speaker 1: he's not that senile. But I think it's the other way,
- 28:38Speaker 1: like if you're an old person, you have to be
- 28:39Speaker 1: like resentful of him because he's given all old people
- 28:42Speaker 1: a bad name. I don't saying all old people are
- 28:44Speaker 1: that far gone.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I most are, you think so? Yeah, like a young
- 28:50Speaker 2: eighties early ages talked to someone in their early eighties,
- 28:52Speaker 2: like you could talk to them for like forty five minutes.
- 28:55Speaker 2: There's gonna be at least one thing that they say
- 28:56Speaker 2: that you're like, WHOA. I don't say that ever. I
- 29:00Speaker 2: think we've.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Gotten away from a society that really does respect its elders.
- 29:07Speaker 3: But the counterbalance to that is that medicine has improved
- 29:11Speaker 3: so much that older people are living longer and in
- 29:14Speaker 3: less pain or whatever. And I'm gonna ask, what age
- 29:21Speaker 3: or excuse me, what time would you guys think was
- 29:25Speaker 3: maybe the best time to be eighty five years old? Oh?
- 29:28Speaker 2: Probably, like I don't know, like the eighties, Vietnam.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I think now, I think just the way that how
- 29:37Speaker 1: good shit is now, it's probably a pretty good time.
- 29:39Speaker 3: But we don't respect them.
- 29:41Speaker 2: I think it's got to be post World War two,
- 29:43Speaker 2: early Vietnam.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I don't think that people ever respected really old people.
- 29:47Speaker 1: I think that they stuffed them in a nursing home
- 29:49Speaker 1: and it was out of sight, out of mind. And
- 29:51Speaker 1: at least now nursing homes have like good cheeseburgers, beer
- 29:54Speaker 1: and fucking cable. Yeah you know what I mean, Like,
- 29:57Speaker 1: it's not.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Just like beating the shit out of the old people. Yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 2: that's crazy that that used to be. Like, I guess
- 30:03Speaker 2: it's still is still is definitely a thing, but like
- 30:05Speaker 2: you just like drop your parents off at a home
- 30:07Speaker 2: and then they just get fucking wailed on for the
- 30:09Speaker 2: rest of their life, to spend the rest of their
- 30:11Speaker 2: life getting the ship kicked.
- 30:13Speaker 1: In their pants because they like can't help it. And
- 30:16Speaker 1: someone comes in, he's like, what the fuck is this?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Literally the scene from Uhilmore?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, but like way less, Like it's it's like
- 30:27Speaker 1: not even funny.
- 30:28Speaker 2: It's so funny that happy Gilmore scene is so funny,
- 30:32Speaker 2: But like when Adam Sandler is in the room and
- 30:35Speaker 2: then the who's who plays the guy?
- 30:38Speaker 1: Ben Stiller?
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's like flipping off Adam Sandler's mom. Yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 2: so funny.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gotta be fucking tough. Hey, guys, let's take
- 30:49Speaker 1: a second and talk about game time.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Game time.
- 30:52Speaker 1: You know that you can go see Train the band.
- 30:56Speaker 3: I love Training.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I love Train, so Jupiter in her head.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Hey hey, hey.
- 31:01Speaker 2: MAT's Yankees tonight.
- 31:03Speaker 1: No, no, no train.
- 31:04Speaker 2: I'm just looking at game time right now.
- 31:06Speaker 1: You're talking about the subway.

- 33:39Speaker 3: for president. You're gonna punch your own ticket out of
- 33:44Speaker 3: this world now.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And if I make it to eighty, I'm hanging on.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I'm having a fuck fest in the nursing Yeah, I'm
- 33:51Speaker 1: having a baccan doll at Sunrise Nursing Facility.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I think if I and maybe I'm just being ridiculous,
- 33:58Speaker 3: but I do believe that if I became aware and
- 34:00Speaker 3: had the cognitive awareness to know that I was a
- 34:04Speaker 3: burden to my kids, my grandkids, costing lots of money
- 34:11Speaker 3: that we were going through whatever could theoretically go to
- 34:14Speaker 3: the next generation. I think I would do what Alan
- 34:18Speaker 3: Alda does in Little Miss Sunshine and go out by
- 34:22Speaker 3: intentionally like overdosing on heroin or something like that.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Everyone always says that though, like when I'm older,
- 34:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna do heroin and die, Like, really, where do
- 34:32Speaker 2: you That's like a big thing. Who were Like if
- 34:33Speaker 2: I if I knew I was gonna die, just do heroin.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Well they just ninety years old. Where are you planning
- 34:39Speaker 2: on getting heroin? I'm yeah, you're gonna take your fucking
- 34:47Speaker 2: walking thing up to up to fucking Harlem and get
- 34:52Speaker 2: some heroin.
- 34:54Speaker 1: They have it down in Chinatown for sure. Yeah, absolutely
- 34:57Speaker 1: Chinatown by where Tommy did his ar show. They had
- 35:00Speaker 1: a fucking dude we're fishing out. Dudes are a fucking
- 35:03Speaker 1: falling asleep standing up by that park over there. But
- 35:08Speaker 1: but I think that like once they start giving you,
- 35:10Speaker 1: like the hard morphine, like you're about to die anyway. Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 1: like once they get once they start pumping you with
- 35:16Speaker 1: like multiple times a day. I guess it's a nice
- 35:20Speaker 1: comfortable way to go out. I don't know, not exactly
- 35:22Speaker 1: A bioethicist.
- 35:24Speaker 2: On the even like the when people are like like
- 35:28Speaker 2: some sober people say like they're like when I when
- 35:30Speaker 2: I'm like eighty, I'm gonna start just like getting hammered
- 35:32Speaker 2: again because it's not gonna matter. And it's like, I
- 35:35Speaker 2: don't think getting drunk when your eighty is gonna be
- 35:37Speaker 2: like what you think it's gonna be like you're just
- 35:39Speaker 2: gonna be get the most insane hangovers that you've like
- 35:41Speaker 2: couldn't even comprehend.
- 35:43Speaker 3: No, I don't know. I think that if you're gonna.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Wake up and your skin's gonna be like shriveled up if.
- 35:47Speaker 3: You just if you just drink all the time.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you go from like years of not
- 35:53Speaker 2: drinking to then when you're initially.
- 35:56Speaker 3: It'll suck, but then you'll get into the zone, the
- 35:59Speaker 3: rhythm getting in shape.
- 36:01Speaker 2: That really is that's how you have to drink. If
- 36:02Speaker 2: you're gonna drink, you gotta drink.
- 36:04Speaker 3: I'm drinking a lot right now, You got it.
- 36:06Speaker 1: And my grandma's nursing home, they would come around with
- 36:08Speaker 1: a fucking like you're on an airplane. They would come
- 36:11Speaker 1: around with like cocktail, beer, wine.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and you.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Just take whatever you want you mix them up, get whatever.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Like mixing beer and wine. Yeah, that's what my grandma
- 36:19Speaker 3: call this bine.
- 36:22Speaker 1: A weird weird, let's get weird. But they're getting I
- 36:26Speaker 1: think they're getting ship paced in there. I think they're
- 36:28Speaker 1: off pain medicine and they're having some fucking cocktails. I
- 36:32Speaker 1: think they're enjoying themselves, which I mean they're entitled to.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Aren't we wearing the same shoes we are? Did you
- 36:41Speaker 3: ask me what these are? Yeah?
- 36:43Speaker 2: No, he did, he did, No I didn't he did.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I said, are those Janowskis? Because he said, Francis new shoes?
- 36:50Speaker 3: Right?
- 36:51Speaker 1: What Arejowskie Janowski?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 36:54Speaker 3: From what a character he's panning down?
- 36:59Speaker 1: Is that what we're talking about now?
- 37:00Speaker 2: It's this? Yeah, the skateboarder. I don't funk with that.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Shipboard rebellion ship, that rebellious streak. Get a fucking job,
- 37:10Speaker 1: put a tie on, ony fit, scumbag, you bastard.
- 37:15Speaker 2: I saw a dude today wearing a uh and what
- 37:20Speaker 2: a New York Fire Department shirt today? Coming here? I
- 37:23Speaker 2: almost stolen bowered him what he would so? Yeah? What house?
- 37:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 37:31Speaker 3: How many rugs on your ladder?
- 37:35Speaker 2: I want? How many stairs are they going on stolen Bower.
- 37:38Speaker 2: They all say that in the video this is going
- 37:40Speaker 2: on stolen Bower. I tried to I thought it was
- 37:42Speaker 2: like a website or something. It's I couldn't find it.
- 37:45Speaker 1: That's like when people film me in there, like I'm
- 37:47Speaker 1: gonna put this on the news.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Yeah, true world star.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I went back and watched that video. We talked about
- 37:53Speaker 3: the mall on pretty well.
- 37:55Speaker 2: He does pretty well until the phone call. That's pretty
- 37:57Speaker 2: much when he accepts defeat.
- 37:58Speaker 3: He does pretty well. I mean he's talking to the
- 38:01Speaker 3: kid and being like, this is who I am and
- 38:05Speaker 3: this is what I do.
- 38:06Speaker 2: But when he says when he says, I do mostly missions, fine, Yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 2: that part was hilarious.
- 38:11Speaker 3: But he's talking to a kid. You know, he's not
- 38:13Speaker 3: gonna be.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Like, I'm attack one. I do missions.
- 38:17Speaker 3: But he's not gonna be like I typically post up
- 38:19Speaker 3: with a sniper rifle and pop the heads off bad guys.
- 38:23Speaker 3: I guess he's gonna say missions because he's talking to
- 38:25Speaker 3: a child.
- 38:26Speaker 2: No, I think he was saying missions because he doesn't
- 38:28Speaker 2: know what he would actually have been doing.
- 38:31Speaker 3: You're right, yeah, but it is an okay answer to
- 38:35Speaker 3: a child. Yeah, definitely. Uh, And I was impressed with.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I mean, he's you know, it takes a very keen eye.
- 38:42Speaker 3: He had a backstory.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he did his recently prepared.
- 38:46Speaker 1: He like what looked in the mirror every morning and
- 38:48Speaker 1: fucking yeah.
- 38:49Speaker 3: So that's to me speaks of a guy who is
- 38:53Speaker 3: so immersed and obsessed with the lore of the military
- 38:57Speaker 3: that he's probably convinced himself he's actually in the millicy Yeah, probably.
- 39:03Speaker 2: That they always get him from hes. He the one
- 39:04Speaker 2: that they got him with the patches because he was like,
- 39:06Speaker 2: it's always He was like, I he had three, and
- 39:08Speaker 2: they were like, where'd you get what? Would you only
- 39:11Speaker 2: get one if you want a campaign? And he was like,
- 39:14Speaker 2: I got them all in Afghanistan. That's not possible. You
- 39:16Speaker 2: can't get him off.
- 39:16Speaker 3: And then one in Afghanistan and one in yeah.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and then he's like and then the second one
- 39:22Speaker 2: I got in Afghanistan because we went outside of Afghanistan
- 39:25Speaker 2: and they were like, that's not possible.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I respect it.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I don't, and I don't respect it because I'm like
- 39:33Speaker 2: pro military. I disrespect it because I think I could
- 39:36Speaker 2: do it better. So easily getting the patches wrong, It's like, dude,
- 39:41Speaker 2: do your research.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Come on, watch the other stolen Valor video.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yeah, watch like figure out how the dudes a getting caught.
- 39:45Speaker 1: And game tape.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Yeah you gotta be.
- 39:47Speaker 1: It's like hard knocks. Yeah, I'm watching the game tape.
- 39:50Speaker 2: I don't want to ever see a stolen Valor video again,
- 39:52Speaker 2: because there's already so many out that you should watch those.
- 39:54Speaker 2: If you're gonna steal Valor, watch those and prepare yourself.
- 39:57Speaker 1: That's how I feel about the audit videos where the
- 40:00Speaker 1: started getting audited or whatever. Yeah, so I was like, uh,
- 40:03Speaker 1: you need a reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime, yeah
- 40:05Speaker 1: to pull me over. Cops should all know that right now,
- 40:08Speaker 1: that is a running rampant. Yeah, fucking running sh up.
- 40:11Speaker 1: We should stand outside one of the stores on Seventh
- 40:14Speaker 1: Avenue that sell NYPD shirt yeah, and wait for someone
- 40:17Speaker 1: to buy an NYPD shirt and be like, where'd you
- 40:19Speaker 1: do your basic training?
- 40:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 40:22Speaker 1: You know that could get you killed in New York, right.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Cops are not liked around here.
- 40:30Speaker 2: They should make m y They should start selling m
- 40:32Speaker 2: YPD traffic patrol shirts. Baggie is triple XL with like
- 40:38Speaker 2: a taser on the shirt.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Your only defense is a can of mace that have
- 40:44Speaker 3: like a three radius.
- 40:46Speaker 1: You know, if you assault the transit officer, it could
- 40:49Speaker 1: be up to five years in prison.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I think we should pump that number up a little.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I think killing a transit officer is like it's like
- 40:56Speaker 2: you have to you have to go to Jerry duty
- 40:58Speaker 2: or something.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Community service guys go to they get accused of a crime,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and then they could choose either the jail time or
- 41:07Speaker 1: becoming a transit officer. They're just going to transit work.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Those jobs must suck. Those guys are probably clocking in
- 41:14Speaker 2: like seventy thousand steps a day. Actually, probably not because
- 41:17Speaker 2: they move in slow motion.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Yeah there, I saw. I was biking home. I'm just
- 41:22Speaker 1: on I'm not never going to the subway again.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Really, I'm on the subway right now.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I took the path yesterday to my apartment. I
- 41:30Speaker 2: didn't know the path got out like one block away
- 41:33Speaker 2: from my apartment.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I won't say it, sorry, I but
- 41:38Speaker 3: so I was biking Homestopher Street around that area.
- 41:41Speaker 2: I think you're actually gonna say.
- 41:42Speaker 3: It, I said, started to say it, I said I
- 41:47Speaker 3: won't say it, and then you said it doesn't matter,
- 41:49Speaker 3: and then I said it dude, I got.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I walked out of my apartment two days ago and
- 41:53Speaker 2: there was a dude standing there and he goes there
- 41:54Speaker 2: he is, and I was like what. I didn't even
- 42:02Speaker 2: say anything because I was like, surely he wasn't talking
- 42:04Speaker 2: to me.
- 42:06Speaker 1: He checked you off his scavenger butt like ran along.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Then he handed you a fucking service. Yeah, he served
- 42:18Speaker 3: an affidavit. It was so weird, subpoena.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I don't think you have to be nice to people
- 42:25Speaker 2: if they're if they're camping out outside of your apartment.
- 42:28Speaker 1: That like you can be.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I think you can be. You can go full Bieber
- 42:31Speaker 2: and go can you guys leave me along? I just
- 42:33Speaker 2: got out of mass right now.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I realized this is your job.
- 42:39Speaker 2: I realized I have a family to feed as well.
- 42:42Speaker 2: But please enough, please dude.
- 42:46Speaker 1: But I was biking up. I was biking up Canal
- 42:48Speaker 1: Street yesterday and uh, I like I was pulling up
- 42:52Speaker 1: to a red light, like along the side of the
- 42:54Speaker 1: bike lane, and like a cop car just swings its
- 42:57Speaker 1: back door open, like almost smoked with yeah, and the
- 43:01Speaker 1: fucking fattest cop walking slow as fucking possible, Yeah, lumbered
- 43:06Speaker 1: out of the back seat and like he was just
- 43:08Speaker 1: carrying like a Starbucks frappuccino, like a trienta, like a
- 43:12Speaker 1: thirty ounce Starbucks frappuccino. And he was getting dropped off
- 43:16Speaker 1: by like two other cops and both of them in
- 43:19Speaker 1: the front seat they were drinking huge frappuccinos as well.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Liked gone a.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Frap run and he was getting dropped off to fucking
- 43:26Speaker 1: do foot patrol in like on canal.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Don't you think the like if you're that fat and
- 43:32Speaker 2: you like are trying to lose weight, which some people aren't.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Maybe they're not trying to lose weight, but like just
- 43:37Speaker 2: simply cutting out the frappuccino with like ice cream and
- 43:40Speaker 2: whipped cream on it, would you probably lose like fifty
- 43:42Speaker 2: pounds in a year.
- 43:44Speaker 3: That's a treat though, No, but you don't need.
- 43:46Speaker 2: A treat to start your day. And also I drink
- 43:48Speaker 2: Starbucks every day.
- 43:49Speaker 3: You could do that.
- 43:50Speaker 2: You can get a coffee with a little syrup in
- 43:52Speaker 2: it or something. It's probably like eight hundred less calories
- 43:54Speaker 2: and it's still sweet and tasty.
- 43:56Speaker 3: People like what they like. That's part of their routine.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I told you guys about when I got the wrong Starbucks.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Order, Well, was it again, you got a sweet treat.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I ordered Starbucks in and they brought it to your
- 44:06Speaker 2: door and they brought it to my door and it was, uh,
- 44:09Speaker 2: it was just like a massive milkshake. And it was
- 44:12Speaker 2: like eight am, and I was like, who is starting
- 44:14Speaker 2: their day?
- 44:15Speaker 1: And it's ninety percent of America.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I went.
- 44:17Speaker 1: I used to have. I used to love Dunkin Donuts
- 44:21Speaker 1: coffee koladas. Oh the icing them is almost different. You
- 44:25Speaker 1: could like crunch the well, everyone loves those. Those are fantastic.
- 44:28Speaker 1: And I hadn't had one in fucking uh like four
- 44:31Speaker 1: score and seven years.
- 44:32Speaker 2: When the dropped, it changed the world.
- 44:34Speaker 1: It changed the world.
- 44:35Speaker 3: I used to drink the strawberry ones.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I drank the I was a blue guy.
- 44:39Speaker 1: It had Oh blue is crazy.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Well, I was probably like eight. Yeah.
- 44:45Speaker 1: The orange ones too, and they're delicious, but it was definitely.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Uh, starting your day with a kulada is so funny.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Though.
- 44:52Speaker 2: I went away and I have to go to work,
- 44:54Speaker 2: and you're like, I gotta get a koulada before I
- 44:56Speaker 2: go in.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I was craving hot and I went back to one
- 44:59Speaker 1: flushy and they're so not only like syrupy, but also
- 45:03Speaker 1: milky like the milk is just fits on your tongue.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Well, that's probably the coffee one. I don't think that
- 45:08Speaker 2: the blue blue viny milk.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Yeah, the blue is made of pure petrol.
- 45:13Speaker 2: It was so good.
- 45:15Speaker 3: It was just so tasty.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Windshield wipe or fluid fucking one.
- 45:19Speaker 2: The dude slushy is something that I don't know if
- 45:21Speaker 2: I'll ever have again, but I want want like the
- 45:23Speaker 2: ba I want the Baja Blast. Slushy's so bad.
- 45:26Speaker 1: And the movie is like one of the best treats.
- 45:29Speaker 1: But you can't even go to a movie theater anymore
- 45:31Speaker 1: without getting like a four horse meal. Movie theaters in
- 45:34Speaker 1: New York are fancy as hell.
- 45:36Speaker 3: People are talking about that movie you went to, Oddity.
- 45:39Speaker 3: People are saying it's one of the serious movies of
- 45:42Speaker 3: like of the last couple of years.
- 45:43Speaker 2: So scary.
- 45:44Speaker 3: When did when did you start doing this of going
- 45:46Speaker 3: to horror movies by yourself? Because that is a pretty bad.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Well, I'm not going by myself. I go with friends.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Oh you do, yes, you asked me that the other day.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I said, going by myself.
- 45:55Speaker 3: I go with I go with a group of people.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, Well that's comforting to hear that yeah, but.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Did you see that?
- 46:03Speaker 2: Okay, So he said that he never even told me
- 46:05Speaker 2: he was going to see Long Legs. He never said
- 46:08Speaker 2: if he said I'm seeing it tonight, I wouldn't have
- 46:10Speaker 2: told him the entire movie.
- 46:12Speaker 1: But why would you tell him the entire man?
- 46:13Speaker 2: And honestly, I would hope that he respects me enough
- 46:16Speaker 2: to to if he was going tonight, cancel the plan
- 46:19Speaker 2: because I told him the movie is dog shit, dude.
- 46:21Speaker 1: But I wouldn't even tell someone that.
- 46:27Speaker 2: So the fact that I went on a thirty minute
- 46:29Speaker 2: rant about how bad the movie is and he still
- 46:31Speaker 2: went and saw it makes me think he doesn't even
- 46:33Speaker 2: respect my opinion at all.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but he could make up his own opinion for himself.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Sometimes it's nice to hear a movie sucks because it
- 46:38Speaker 1: lowers the expectations.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Cheeks.
- 46:43Speaker 2: It was so bad, and so then I was like,
- 46:46Speaker 2: I gotta go see Audity and Audity last night was
- 46:49Speaker 2: a battle in my apartment all night, dude. I didn't
- 46:55Speaker 2: go to until like three am last night. I got
- 46:58Speaker 2: into bed at eleven thirty last night. I didn't fall
- 47:00Speaker 2: asleep until three because I got up multiple times, turned
- 47:03Speaker 2: on all the lights, looking around. I'm like someone hearing
- 47:06Speaker 2: something in my What the fuck is that noise?
- 47:08Speaker 3: There is a lot of noise in your apartment.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was was scar.
- 47:12Speaker 3: You should get one of those ambient noise machines, the
- 47:15Speaker 3: white noise machines.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, then I threw on a podcast and then
- 47:18Speaker 2: I just listened to an hour and forty five minute podcast.
- 47:20Speaker 1: You should put on a black noise machine, and it's
- 47:22Speaker 1: just like people playing basketball.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Wrap battle that old Nike commercial where they're bouncing and
- 47:30Speaker 3: squeaking the sneakers.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't sleep without my black noise ribs sizzling
- 47:36Speaker 1: on a grill jazz. This mood jazz.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Oddity was horrifying. Though the jump scares are it was
- 47:48Speaker 2: eyes like for most of that movie.
- 47:49Speaker 3: When you do that, do you just go like this
- 47:51Speaker 3: or do you go like this? Yeah?
- 47:54Speaker 2: So what I did was I had a big popcorn
- 47:57Speaker 2: and I put it in front of me and then
- 47:59Speaker 2: I would just stare at the er the popcorn. But
- 48:01Speaker 2: then at the end, by the end I had already
- 48:04Speaker 2: been through too many popouts, I went full like plugging
- 48:07Speaker 2: my ears, it's plugging the ears from me. I was like,
- 48:09Speaker 2: get me out of this room. I need to simulate
- 48:14Speaker 2: not being here. It was so scary, it was great.
- 48:17Speaker 3: I cover my ears and in my life when I've
- 48:20Speaker 3: ever been on like a date or watched a horror
- 48:23Speaker 3: movie with a girl, and I didn't want her to
- 48:26Speaker 3: know that I was a pussy bitch because I'll look
- 48:29Speaker 3: over and if I'm sorry, is this not a fact
- 48:32Speaker 3: that you.
- 48:33Speaker 1: No, I'm listening, don't hey tell me?
- 48:35Speaker 3: Was texting me Sean?
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah, right, continue?
- 48:43Speaker 3: What did he say?
- 48:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't read it, just glance. It
- 48:47Speaker 2: was sue screenshots or something. Oh wow, could have been anything,
- 48:50Speaker 2: could have been anything, could have been big.
- 48:52Speaker 3: You know, it's funny this story. I was about to
- 48:53Speaker 3: tell her this little this little anecdote was a piggyback
- 48:57Speaker 3: on his point.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, literally, all that happened with my phone buzz
- 49:01Speaker 2: and I went like this, and then you halted the
- 49:03Speaker 2: entire converence.
- 49:03Speaker 1: All that happened earlier was he moved his microphone and
- 49:05Speaker 1: you said, what are you doing with your microphone?
- 49:08Speaker 3: Yeah? And I think the way that our were set
- 49:12Speaker 3: up here is it's harder for me to look at round.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I'm sort of looking at you for much of the conversation.
- 49:18Speaker 3: And when I'm talking to you and adding onto a
- 49:21Speaker 3: riffing on top of something you've entered into the conversation,
- 49:26Speaker 3: and you just immediately pick up your phone. I lose
- 49:30Speaker 3: my confidence. All right, continue, Well, I don't want to know.
- 49:32Speaker 3: I don't feel good about it anymore.
- 49:34Speaker 2: I want to continue this conversation.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I need to hear this.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Does I do it?
- 49:37Speaker 3: All it was is that I get self conscious and
- 49:41Speaker 3: I and if you're on a date or something, you're
- 49:43Speaker 3: watching a horror movie with a girl and you start
- 49:46Speaker 3: covering your ears and then you look over and she's
- 49:48Speaker 3: just like raw dogging the screen, and then I have
- 49:54Speaker 3: to kind of make it more subtle.
- 49:57Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, dawning for like third three straight minutes, Like, oh,
- 50:02Speaker 2: my face is a game. Yeah, you're trying to find
- 50:06Speaker 2: something something to do with your eyes aside for look
- 50:09Speaker 2: at the screen.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I can't.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I can't even have it in my periphery. I'll throw
- 50:13Speaker 2: my jewel on the ground and I'm like this.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Good rift, good rift, And you would have we would
- 50:20Speaker 3: have had that.
- 50:21Speaker 2: We just did have it.
- 50:22Speaker 3: No, it was totally garbled and disjointed because of that
- 50:27Speaker 3: whole gardenI sean thing.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell him to stop texting me during my hours.
- 50:31Speaker 2: What what's what do you think the scariest horror movie
- 50:33Speaker 2: you've ever seen?
- 50:34Speaker 3: Is? For me? It's The Conjuring?
- 50:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I think three for me.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Ron, I don't watch a ton of horror movies. I
- 50:42Speaker 1: think like, no, I think you guys are pussy. You're
- 50:45Speaker 1: closing your eyes and covering your ears.
- 50:47Speaker 3: By the way, I also do it when ambulances go by, So.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I have zero shame.
- 50:52Speaker 3: That's like that was like the light and sound.
- 50:54Speaker 1: That's old school autism, like walking into a loud grocery
- 50:57Speaker 1: store and like fucking closing your Yeah no, I.
- 51:00Speaker 2: I like, I accept it, and I know I'm a
- 51:02Speaker 2: pussy about it, but I still love.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Them old school autism as opposed to our present day
- 51:07Speaker 3: understanding of autism, which is every single thing that anyone does.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 51:12Speaker 1: It's like, you know, people who are good at music
- 51:14Speaker 1: are probably autists because they have this century predilection towards
- 51:18Speaker 1: fucking rhythm and sound.
- 51:19Speaker 3: Dude, I went to a bar last night and there
- 51:22Speaker 3: was it was like a piano bar, and the place
- 51:25Speaker 3: had a new pianist performing what was it called the Nines.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Dude.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I was about to go to the Nines last night.
- 51:31Speaker 3: It was cool.
- 51:32Speaker 1: I butt their menu is not great, so I went
- 51:34Speaker 1: to Datscana instead.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Oh that heard that is awesome. The best is that
- 51:38Speaker 3: next to the cellar? Uh?
- 51:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's right up the street.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Why didn't you sew me you were in the neighborhood, brother.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Because I know you're not booking the cellar. If I
- 51:46Speaker 1: was by the stand, I hit you up.
- 51:50Speaker 2: I still I'm I'm I lived near there. Could have
- 51:52Speaker 2: hit me up. We could have. You could have come over.
- 51:54Speaker 2: We could have.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Every time we're in that neighborhood. I tell my wife
- 51:56Speaker 1: that were like, well where SaaS lived? She's like, I know,
- 52:00Speaker 1: tell me every time.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I'm tired of Why don't you guys ever pop over?
- 52:03Speaker 2: I got I was lonely as ls.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Because you hate it when we pop over.
- 52:07Speaker 2: No one's ever popped over ever.
- 52:08Speaker 3: We used to come over all the time to report,
- 52:11Speaker 3: not to hang out, and I liked hanging out.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I was worried that you didn't have a pile of
- 52:15Speaker 1: clothes for her to sit on.
- 52:16Speaker 2: No one pops over anymore. I was so bored lesson
- 52:20Speaker 2: I had to switch franchises in my dynasty.
- 52:25Speaker 3: We get this.
- 52:25Speaker 1: How was the nines.
- 52:26Speaker 3: I was sitting at a table. It was a booth,
- 52:28Speaker 3: and it was a big booth that could actually accommodate
- 52:30Speaker 3: two different parties of people, and one party that I
- 52:35Speaker 3: was splitting the booth with got up and left, and
- 52:38Speaker 3: I hadn't really talked to them much. And then they
- 52:40Speaker 3: were replaced by four of the coolest gay guys I'd
- 52:44Speaker 3: ever seen. Just they looked like a funk band. It
- 52:48Speaker 3: was very hard.
- 52:49Speaker 1: I don't know what's like a cool gay guy like
- 52:51Speaker 1: a straight guy.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Yeah, they were, they made they they were these guys.
- 52:57Speaker 3: I asked them, I was the coolest what are you guys?
- 53:00Speaker 2: You know?
- 53:01Speaker 3: They had They had light colored sunglasses on yellow, and
- 53:06Speaker 3: then one had a pencil mustache and his hands were
- 53:09Speaker 3: tattooed artfully. And then the other guy looked like Challo
- 53:14Speaker 3: May quite a bit. It really did a lot like him.
- 53:18Speaker 3: And then one was just this fresh, fresh faced, beautiful boy,
- 53:24Speaker 3: and uh, I said, what do you guys? Do you know?
- 53:26Speaker 2: You all look so cool?
- 53:28Speaker 3: And three of them were concert pianists and the other
- 53:31Speaker 3: was a designer, a fashion designer. The guy with the
- 53:34Speaker 3: pencil mustache, and then we proceeded to ship on the
- 53:38Speaker 3: pianist who was playing because she was not good.
- 53:41Speaker 1: And you also you said ill.
- 53:44Speaker 3: At one point, the group I was with was like,
- 53:47Speaker 3: you should take over kick her off because I was
- 53:49Speaker 3: better than she was, and I said, I don't want
- 53:52Speaker 3: to do that. I don't want to steal work from her,
- 53:54Speaker 3: an upstage her and all that. And then they came in,
- 53:57Speaker 3: and I was so glad that I had not taken
- 54:00Speaker 3: the seat from this woman, because if I had been
- 54:03Speaker 3: playing when they came in, I would have been really bad.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Wait, is there the option there that you can play?
- 54:09Speaker 2: No, they would not allow it.
- 54:12Speaker 3: No.
- 54:12Speaker 2: It's like going to the cellar and being like, I'm
- 54:13Speaker 2: gonna go up tonight.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they wouldn't allow it that I didn't go up. Yeah,
- 54:17Speaker 3: but me and the gay guys and the gay pianists
- 54:19Speaker 3: just you know, talked shit about the piano player for
- 54:23Speaker 3: twenty minutes and it was really bonding experience.
- 54:25Speaker 1: You and four gay penists.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Only three were pianists. One was a designer with the handtack.
- 54:31Speaker 2: One was a piano designer. He built the pianos and
- 54:35Speaker 2: they played on them.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Did you do you have to dress to the nines
- 54:38Speaker 1: At the nines.
- 54:39Speaker 3: There's like a I think there's a dress code, but
- 54:41Speaker 3: I was what is it?
- 54:42Speaker 2: It looks like, honestly, you might have not gone in
- 54:44Speaker 2: last night, you didn't miss you wore I did wear this.
- 54:51Speaker 2: That's a good that's a good uh nines fit.
- 54:53Speaker 3: This is exactly what I was wearing.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, great knightes fit. But uh yeah, so what's
- 54:58Speaker 1: the dress code?
- 54:59Speaker 3: Is it? Like?
- 55:00Speaker 1: I don't fucking suit?
- 55:01Speaker 2: I don't know know. I was wearing this, literally wearing this.
- 55:04Speaker 2: I just love going to places like that. A piano
- 55:07Speaker 2: bar goet like a nice a nice music jazz.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not that it's not a dueling piano's kind of.
- 55:14Speaker 1: How the moon is? I mean, I have no problem
- 55:16Speaker 1: with it, but it's like people get ship faced and
- 55:18Speaker 1: like make out there.
- 55:19Speaker 2: What's the big one blue Blue Note? Is that what
- 55:21Speaker 2: it's got? That's a jazz club and that's that one's
- 55:23Speaker 2: like hard to get into. That's like that's the cellar
- 55:26Speaker 2: of jazz. Yeah, yeah, Arthur's human to Arthur's fun.
- 55:30Speaker 3: I'd like to dip into the jazz scene a little bit.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I saw save On Glover at the Blue Note. You
- 55:35Speaker 1: know who save On Glover is, Yeah, He's like, no,
- 55:37Speaker 1: you don't.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Donald's brother, Donald's brother.
- 55:41Speaker 1: He's like the most famous tap dancer of all time.
- 55:44Speaker 3: And the dude child Trombono would have been better.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Child is Trombono. Yeah, but he just like he just
- 55:55Speaker 1: like wore t shirt up and like fucking tap dance
- 55:57Speaker 1: until he was drenched and swagged in front of us.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a sweet It's probably awesome. It was.
- 56:02Speaker 2: It was that being a musician is probably so fun.
- 56:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it seems exhausting, like a jazz a jazz, like
- 56:09Speaker 3: a live jazz musician. That job and being a chef
- 56:14Speaker 3: at a big time restaurant seem so tiring that I
- 56:18Speaker 3: fundamentally don't think I could ever do it. For that reason.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Alone, I think, well, I think working at being a
- 56:23Speaker 2: chef at a big restaurant's probably way less fun than
- 56:26Speaker 2: being a musician.
- 56:28Speaker 3: I've never understood it.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Being a chef is like you don't even get to
- 56:30Speaker 2: see people enjoying enjoying what you're doing. Yeah, is the
- 56:35Speaker 2: old last case scenario, someone goes that was pretty good.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Or like you tell the waiter to like be like, hey,
- 56:40Speaker 1: my compliments to the chef, and the waiters like I'm
- 56:42Speaker 1: not fucking Yeah.
- 56:44Speaker 2: The chef's a dick.
- 56:45Speaker 1: He's gonna scream down my throat. Right, you played the
- 56:49Speaker 1: fucking Bronzino wrong.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Well that's why I do like open kitchens where you
- 56:53Speaker 3: can watch the chefs. They are no longer getting the
- 56:57Speaker 3: secrecy that allows them to fuck up in front of you.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Really pubs in your meal.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but they have opened the wall for compliments. Yeah,
- 57:06Speaker 3: and if that's the case, I will let them know.
- 57:08Speaker 1: There's a place in Philly called Alispina where and they
- 57:11Speaker 1: had something on the menu called ode to the publican
- 57:13Speaker 1: which meant that you could buy a sick pack for
- 57:17Speaker 1: the kitchen and it's like you could buy booze for them,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and it's like have them enjoy themselves, which I thought
- 57:24Speaker 1: was a cool way to like kind of tip the
- 57:26Speaker 1: back end of the house.
- 57:28Speaker 2: But did you see them were probably like, we'd rather
- 57:30Speaker 2: just have money. Yeah, I bet beer is like one dollar. Yeah,
- 57:35Speaker 2: we get we three for us. It would be awesome
- 57:38Speaker 2: if you guys could just give us money.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Yeah, we much prefer that. But did you see the
- 57:42Speaker 1: thing that was going around It was like, uh, maybe
- 57:45Speaker 1: it was a survey or something that said that most
- 57:48Speaker 1: high end chefs they're like what they eat the most
- 57:52Speaker 1: is like fast food? What or like uh? And I
- 57:56Speaker 1: think it kind of made sense because like fast food
- 57:58Speaker 1: is at least like solid. I mean, if you read
- 58:02Speaker 1: Kitchen Confidential Boardain would go fucking slap a burger or
- 58:05Speaker 1: fucking some ramen or some shit like that, something super easy.
- 58:09Speaker 1: And I think it's because like mid food that you
- 58:13Speaker 1: could get out isn't as good as like just like
- 58:16Speaker 1: the quickness and ease of getting some fast food. And
- 58:20Speaker 1: if you're a chef, you don't want to take your
- 58:22Speaker 1: work home. It's like a maid having a messy house.
- 58:24Speaker 3: I get that, But don't they do the family style meals?
- 58:27Speaker 3: I love the idea of that every early meal at restaurants.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Oh maybe cook a bunch of food in a big,
- 58:33Speaker 3: big quantity and serve it to the staff.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Maybe. I bet some restaurants do that or did they do?
- 58:40Speaker 1: Is that like the Bear type.
- 58:41Speaker 3: They do in the Bear?
- 58:42Speaker 2: But I never had when I worked at a restaurant,
- 58:43Speaker 2: we never did that. All we would do is we
- 58:44Speaker 2: would go in and we have like a team meeting,
- 58:46Speaker 2: and they'd be like, now, chef is going to come
- 58:48Speaker 2: in and present the special for the day and all
- 58:50Speaker 2: the sheep would go over and eat and go chef.
- 58:53Speaker 2: This is the greatest thing I've ever had. You can
- 58:56Speaker 2: work in. Ever try I'll never try it.
- 58:58Speaker 3: I did tended bar at the Mason Jar for a
- 59:01Speaker 3: year in New York, and they would do a family
- 59:04Speaker 3: style meal before, but it was always some you know,
- 59:06Speaker 3: big quantity of pasta.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah, something easy and cheap.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Yeah, just buttered noodles.
- 59:15Speaker 3: It's nice again, you don't say thanks, missus Johnson.
- 59:21Speaker 1: It's nice when you can make your own ship at
- 59:23Speaker 1: a restaurant and they're not like charging you like anytime
- 59:27Speaker 1: I've worked at I mean I've only worked at shitty restaurants.
- 59:29Speaker 1: But you just make your own fucking roast beef sandwich,
- 59:32Speaker 1: make your own fucking yeah.
- 59:33Speaker 3: I never had that.
- 59:34Speaker 2: We had the pizza place I worked at, we would
- 59:37Speaker 2: we would get we would get to take pies home.
- 59:40Speaker 2: That was nice.
- 59:41Speaker 3: That was cool.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Yeah, at the end of the night, like they all
- 59:44Speaker 1: just have bonus pies, excess pies that they're not gonna
- 59:47Speaker 1: put out in the morning. When you live with a
- 59:49Speaker 1: bunch of dudes and you bring home a fucking stack
- 59:51Speaker 1: of pies or they'll call it like my friends would
- 59:54Speaker 1: call me when I was a delivery driver, and they
- 59:56Speaker 1: would order like to two leaders just so I could
- 59:59Speaker 1: come home and like smoke weed.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Yeah that's cool.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: It was really nice.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: The one time I was fucking rushing to get home,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I had like one order and I have the two
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: two leaders, and I was trying to get my one
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: order done and I was just rushing, and I like
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: didn't look far enough, like into the intersection. I got
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: fucking t bone. Really because I was rushing home to
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: try and smoke weed with the fellas with it. It
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: was nasty and I had to like, I like limp
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I was like on the block of the delivery.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I like limpplash where he gets hipped by the truck
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: and wattles to the to the venue.
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Basically, I'm the same as a concert.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: To get this pizza delivered.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Gotta do my fucking job. I was basically like Chaps
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: when he got shot. Yeah, basically the same type of valor.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: It's fun for all of us to look back on
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: our sort of blue collar days, and you know, of
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: our days of you know, driving food delivery and working
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: at restaurants, bartending the best. So I got fired from
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: that bartending job.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I got fired too, But I also just
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: told this entire story on Dan Soders podcast, so I
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: feel like I shouldn't say it again, probably.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: For the best.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Yeah, how'd you get fired?
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Francis?
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: I'll tell it. Can you hold off for a bit.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: I'll try to hold off. I just don't want to spoil.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Yeah, let Sean know he needs to wait.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I'll tell well, just text him now and down and
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: stand by.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Do you want to stand back to just check what
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: the screenshots were now? So frances can get into a story.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: No, it's not a long story. The story is that
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: I went swimming in the Jersey shore one weekend and
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: I went to dive for frisbee in the surf, and
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I dove sort of sideways to catch it in the
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: shallows just as the wave was cresting, and the wave
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: hit my head and I got a concussion, and I
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: got a concussion that was so obviously a concussion, and
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: that I don't I don't remember coming back up off
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: the beach, and then I was throwing up that day
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: from a washing.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: You have kind of a bad history with like diving
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: into water. I sure do. That's crazy.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: My relationship with judging depth is not.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: I do like to imagine you standing in like one
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: foot of water and then just fully diving into it
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: head first.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd like to imagine your death perception being so
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: bad that you see like a plane going like behind
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: a building, and you're.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Like, look out, about to hit that building.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: Yeah. So I got concussed, and I was very concussing.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: That was on a Sunday. The next day I had
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: to show up for work for the bartending job, and
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: I would come in for a lot of the lunch
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: shifts because I was new, and that that's where you
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: made the least amount of money. And I remember that
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: that day I put in probably seven or eight lunch
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: orders in a row that were completely the wrong thing.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Like someone would order a cheeseburger and I'd put in
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: like a queen was Salle, Yeah, and then I'd hand
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: it to him and he'd be like, what are you
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: fucking kidding me? And I'd be like, yeah, that's no.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: And it happened seven times in a row. I had
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: no idea what was going on. And then that didn't
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: that day they fired me. You fucked up so many
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: orders in a row, You're not coming back, did you?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I mean you could go back with like a lawsuit
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: and be like they fired me because I was concussed
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Morgan and Morgan because I got concussed by the softest
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: substance on earth water.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: This was a time in my life where those sorts
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: of thoughts. I just assumed everything I did wrong was
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: my fault, which is carried forth to this day.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's probably that concussion.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: That you should take a drive through New Jersey. You
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: get seventy lawyers, you drived every single billboard is just
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: got hurt at work?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Sandwich and Mark, Vegas. Dude, leaving Vegas, it's like
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: injured in your hotel.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like so specific, it's got to be it's
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: got to just be punched by a guy named Steve
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: what It's probably it's probably easy because if you if
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: you those hotels in Vegas are probably like billion dollar companies,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: So you can just if you like, even made up
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: that you got hurt. The settlement's probably like thirty thousand
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: dollars at least.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Dude, I haven't been to Vegas in probably five years,
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: and out of nowhere, I have two trips to Vegas
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: this fall.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Damn, Really, I want to go back to Vegas gangfast.
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: No, I'm going for uh. I got a gig out
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: there wise, guys, no, like a corporate gi oh yeah yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: which I'm kind of excited about. And then I have
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: a buddy's birthday who is He's now living in Switzerland
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: and he's making a big trip and rallying a huge
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: group to go have his birthday in Vegas, and he
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: wants us to be there from like Thursday till Monday.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: That you should No, no, you should not go to
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Vegas for that long, dude.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Thursday till Monday during football season in Vegas is so fun.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: No early, I'm thinking I might go Saturday to Monday.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Or go Thursday.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: The whole point is to be there for Sunday for Sunday. Yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: And if I'm gonna be there for Sunday football, I
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: know that two nights for me is probably my max
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: in Vegas.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Dude, Yeah, go into I'm pretty sure Circus. Circus is
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: that the one that has the outdoor it's like a
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: pool with all the fuckings all the games on the pool.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that one, I don't know if it has. I watched.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: That's where I watched during skangcast. We like Josh Potter
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: like knows the guy at Circa and he got like
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: a reserved area for all the comics and it's like
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: the most fun thing I've done.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I want to go, and I want to tell Taylor
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: and and Will to be there. Will Dana to bring
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: me to that magical atm.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Of a black black jack table print money.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: That would be kind of nice. Yeah, I would like.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: You're pretty good at black jack too, me. Yeah, Oh,
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I mean I know basic strategy. We went to that
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: pen casino you and those brothers were rolling.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: We did pretty well there. Yeah, that was a good one.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: It was just like Francis and like six black dudes
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: just running the black and we.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Figured out how we actually got on the same page
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: about what handshakes we would do if we want hands.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: And I lost all of we got paid, played all
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: of my money on roulette by myself, just sitting at
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: a roulette table by myself, lost all of my money,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: and then went and sat in the food court and
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: waited for Francis to finish playing.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: That's why you're probably uncomfortable that you know how to
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: play black jack. You need a black noise machine.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: That would have had you more comfortable.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean I just lost like seven hundred dollars.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I was like, I'm gonna go sit by myself for
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: a while. It was brutal, and Francis was so was I.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: You were hammered, oh, and I was like dead.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: So I was having a great time.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Francis won like two grand I lost. I lost seven
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: hundred dollars.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: I think I won.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: And then we drove. I drove us from the from
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: the casino to the hotel and then we stayed in
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: that hotel. Oh, it was the worst weekend ever, dude,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: wasn't And then we drove home the next day. It
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: was a seven hour drive there. I've told this story.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: But we go to drive home and France is like,
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: all right, yeah, you can just draw me up off
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: on the lavenue over here. And then I had to
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: drive eight hours by myself home.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: I didn't tell him that I was getting out. Yeah.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: We started driving and he's like, you have to go
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: nine hour over here, and it was just a ten
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: hour drive.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: I thought that this was going to be a goodwill
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: tour stop for us for Penn. Yeah yeah, but little
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: did we know that the Penn deal was coming to
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: an end.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: And also they didn't give a shit about us.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I don't think they're like, we're a gambling company.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess. We went to the bar Stool bar
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: and we were like ordering drinks and we were like,
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: we work at Barstool and they were like, oh, that's sick.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: It's gonna be thirty bucks. Yeah.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: We didn't get any sort of compage.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: We thought we were gonna get like free chips and stuff. Ship.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: Yeah, they were very nice to us. They were at
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: the at the casino.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: But weird rules though, like they can't serve us drinks.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: What was that weird rule?
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: I can't remember.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Like I was like can I get a beer? And
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: they were like you have to go and get it.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: We're technically not allowed to bring you beer.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Yeah. That was in the That was in the green room.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: In the green room. Yeah, we did get. The food
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: was crazy.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: Great.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: You go to a place like that, They're like, what
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: do you guys want for food? We got like steaks. Great.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I gotta hit I gotta hit that endeavor.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I got to hit out in about oh Ship.
