- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Hi everybody,
- 0:05Speaker 1: it's Trithda and it's Bob Almost Famous. The OG's doing
- 0:09Speaker 1: a little Dancing with the Stars breakdown of last night's
- 0:13Speaker 1: Week two episode, which I don't want to. I want
- 0:17Speaker 1: it to be noted that I would never spoil the
- 0:22Speaker 1: outcome of the show for anyone, not even on a
- 0:25Speaker 1: text thread myself personally, but I will say this for
- 0:29Speaker 1: our listeners and our viewers who maybe haven't watched it yet.
- 0:32Speaker 1: There will be discussion of what happens at the end
- 0:34Speaker 1: of this episode, So spoiler alert, we're going to get
- 0:37Speaker 1: into it because they're shocking. It was shocking for me.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Good job, because honestly, I hate spoilers. One of my
- 0:45Speaker 2: biggest pep pieces about social media is that people think, oh, well,
- 0:50Speaker 2: she's interested in this show or that show, and I
- 0:52Speaker 2: should just write her and talk to her about it,
- 0:55Speaker 2: when she hasn't watched the show, and they tell it
- 0:57Speaker 2: like tell me without me asking did you ever want
- 1:02Speaker 2: to like write someone that you don't know that you
- 1:06Speaker 2: do know? Maybe just ask beforemian, Yeah, did last episode?
- 1:14Speaker 2: You want them to spoil it? However that goes, But.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I know what you mean t I know what you mean.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Yes, spoiler coming.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Spoilers are coming, guys, and we're going to get into
- 1:24Speaker 1: this because first of all, let's just say this. It
- 1:27Speaker 1: was Oscar's night at Dancing with the Stars, which meant
- 1:31Speaker 1: that they were songs that had been Oscar nominated songs,
- 1:34Speaker 1: and Julianne Huff looked like an Oscar statue atte She
- 1:38Speaker 1: looked absolutely stunning, didn't she always?
- 1:40Speaker 2: I swear she is one of the most beautiful women
- 1:45Speaker 2: and I have been lucky enough to meet her. I
- 1:48Speaker 2: was at the I think one hundredth episode of Dancing
- 1:51Speaker 2: with the Stars and they had like a part or
- 1:53Speaker 2: maybe it was during my season, I can't remember, but
- 1:56Speaker 2: in person, her eyes are like electric it's unreal electric blue.
- 2:03Speaker 2: They are so beautiful. And yeah, she is. She is stunning.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I yeah, I love her too personally, Like I interviewed
- 2:13Speaker 1: her a few years ago down in Nashville for something
- 2:16Speaker 1: we were doing right at the Grand Ole Opry and
- 2:18Speaker 1: then at this other facility out in front of something,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and the whole time I was just like mesmerized. I mean,
- 2:24Speaker 1: she is and then and then she's a very sweet
- 2:27Speaker 1: person too, you know, like like It was kind of
- 2:29Speaker 1: funny that I used to always host the Fanfare now
- 2:32Speaker 1: in Nashville. I did it for seven years in a row.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Where'd be like, I'd be on stage, it's like, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: everyone's packed into Tennessee Titan Stadium and it's everyone playing,
- 2:40Speaker 1: from Kenny Chesney to Keith Urban and I'm like, what's up? Everybody?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Like my my favorite jobs in the world. And I
- 2:47Speaker 1: did it for seven years in a row until one
- 2:49Speaker 1: year I was replaced by Julianne Huff, Taylor Swift and
- 2:53Speaker 1: somebody else. And you would have thought that that I
- 2:57Speaker 1: would somehow be like, what, how could you No? I'm like, yeah,
- 3:01Speaker 1: this makes perfect sense. Guys. First of all t Swizzle
- 3:04Speaker 1: and then you know Julianne Huff. I just interviewed her
- 3:07Speaker 1: and Hello, I think I'm in love, So yeah you
- 3:08Speaker 1: got she can take my job all the Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I loved her.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I thought she was super fun, really cool lady, but
- 3:16Speaker 1: looks stunning, great host on the show. I like that
- 3:18Speaker 1: she and Derek are both on there together at different capacity,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and I love so like, he's so good.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I was really sad when Tom me too. When Tom left,
- 3:28Speaker 2: But Alfonso has done an amazing job.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And he yes, and he's he's good at that stuff too,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and he's so passionate about dancing like he's really good too.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So yeah, I agree.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Anyway, Yeah, so the show was Oscar night. We're watching
- 3:39Speaker 1: all the songs from Oscar related things. I will tell
- 3:43Speaker 1: you that Joey from from the Bachelor franchise, you got
- 3:47Speaker 1: Joey and Jen for anyone who's you know, Joey looks
- 3:51Speaker 1: like he could be a professional dancer. I don't know
- 3:53Speaker 1: what the hell is going on, but it's like the dude,
- 3:57Speaker 1: he's not a dancer from from what I know, well, uh,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know. I mean, it's like, all of a sudden,
- 4:03Speaker 1: this dude is like blossoming into like a ballroom dancer.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And he's super good.
- 4:08Speaker 2: He has great coaches, I mean the fact that he
- 4:10Speaker 2: has Jenna, but also because he has Jenna, he has
- 4:14Speaker 2: Botwel too. So like one of the biggest things, the
- 4:18Speaker 2: hardest things for me when I was on the show
- 4:21Speaker 2: was that, you know, as a dancer in my previous life,
- 4:26Speaker 2: I always learned better watching someone do it in front
- 4:29Speaker 2: of me, so I can mimic what they're doing, right,
- 4:32Speaker 2: So like a copycat.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Well, isn't. And I mean to be fair though, that's
- 4:37Speaker 1: how you would even you know, from like the routines
- 4:39Speaker 1: as a Miami heat girl and everything else. That's how
- 4:41Speaker 1: you would learn. The choreographers would choer if you would
- 4:44Speaker 1: be leading, and you'd like get behind her and start
- 4:45Speaker 1: doing the same stuff.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, So you learn from somebody else doing your
- 4:49Speaker 2: exact biops. Right. Yeah, And so when I was partnered
- 4:52Speaker 2: with Louie, he would be like, Okay, you do this
- 4:55Speaker 2: and this and this. I wasn't watching him. He was
- 4:58Speaker 2: kind of like telling me, I'm very visual and I
- 5:01Speaker 2: wasn't watching him do it or another female do my part.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So the fact that Joey has vow to like come
- 5:09Speaker 2: in and be like this is what it's supposed to
- 5:12Speaker 2: look like, I think probably not that he would. He
- 5:15Speaker 2: could have couldn't have done it without that, But I
- 5:17Speaker 2: think it's a huge help to have someone be able
- 5:22Speaker 2: to come into your rehearsal space and help you as
- 5:25Speaker 2: that part.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh totally. Plus, I mean, let's not forget right
- 5:30Speaker 1: when you were doing the show. It was the first
- 5:31Speaker 1: season of the show or the second season of the show. First, Yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and it was like you didn't know, you know, I
- 5:37Speaker 1: was thinking about this last night. Two things I thought
- 5:40Speaker 1: of last night that I think are both applicable to you.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So one was you didn't know what you couldn't couldn't
- 5:46Speaker 1: say right, like yeah, I mean like we look at
- 5:49Speaker 1: the Bachelor now and it's like, you know, now they're like, hey,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I want to bring this girl back because I didn't
- 5:53Speaker 1: give her a flower, and now I want to give
- 5:54Speaker 1: her one. That's like they're like, Okay, back in the day,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you know, it was here are the rules, you follow them, done,
- 5:59Speaker 1: and so we did know what you didn't know. And
- 6:01Speaker 1: I mean from your perspective, you didn't know what you
- 6:03Speaker 1: didn't know. And you're vernacular when it comes to dancing,
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm sure, even though I know you have you know
- 6:08Speaker 1: a bunch of broad interests and stuff in dance, but
- 6:11Speaker 1: you were like really hip hop and you know, and
- 6:14Speaker 1: that type of stuff. And so now you're in ballroom
- 6:16Speaker 1: and he might say, you know, I want you to
- 6:18Speaker 1: do this, like and say the name, and you like,
- 6:19Speaker 1: what the hell's that?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, And you could have been intimidated back then, like
- 6:23Speaker 1: am I allowed to ask? Am I do I have to?
- 6:25Speaker 1: You know? And I was thinking last night too, not
- 6:27Speaker 1: just that, but and this is both things I want
- 6:29Speaker 1: to hear your opinion on. Secondly, I was thinking, you know,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I know this is going to come off as funny,
- 6:34Speaker 1: but it's not meant to be. What a hard what
- 6:36Speaker 1: a hard job these judges have, and I I know
- 6:39Speaker 1: that like sitting behind the table going you know, with
- 6:41Speaker 1: with Bruno. Oh you know that's that's not difficult for him.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But when you've been brought up your whole life as
- 6:47Speaker 1: a dancer, right, and everything is about precision and accuracy,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and now you've got to watch these people just murder
- 6:55Speaker 1: your craft, right, like just racket you know, and things
- 7:00Speaker 1: that you've worked out of your whole life to be perfect,
- 7:02Speaker 1: and you've got like like if I were out there,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'd be like, you know, it'd be like terrible. And
- 7:07Speaker 1: so for them to find a positive thread and not
- 7:11Speaker 1: just look at it as just disastrous every time someone
- 7:14Speaker 1: Stefp's on the floor, I was thinking last night, because
- 7:16Speaker 1: I mean, there's reasons why you know that they've all
- 7:20Speaker 1: been there for as long as they have is because
- 7:21Speaker 1: they're also great at at promoting positivity even when they
- 7:25Speaker 1: know they're watching a train wreck, you know. And but yeah, So,
- 7:29Speaker 1: so I want to hear your thoughts on that, because
- 7:30Speaker 1: I was going to say I felt like it had
- 7:31Speaker 1: to be really hard in the beginning for you not
- 7:34Speaker 1: knowing what to say when someone's like that, then I
- 7:36Speaker 1: want you to plea and you're like, what the hell
- 7:37Speaker 1: is a pla? You know? Or whatever?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I know that's interesting. I I was so flipping
- 7:44Speaker 2: clueless back then because ballroom really wasn't something that I
- 7:48Speaker 2: It wasn't something that I ever studied. I remotely knew
- 7:53Speaker 2: about it from like the commercials with the Fred Astaire commercial,
- 7:57Speaker 2: you know that, Yeah, do you know what I'm talking about?
- 8:00Speaker 2: The store on the score, the like shot the dance
- 8:03Speaker 2: studio that you could go and take that, or like
- 8:06Speaker 2: you know, random movies or like the old school like
- 8:10Speaker 2: foxtrot stuff. You know. That was that was the only
- 8:14Speaker 2: knowledge I had a ballroom. So thankfully, I feel like
- 8:17Speaker 2: nowadays people have have a lot more knowledge of what
- 8:21Speaker 2: ballroom is. The show has brought like everyone knows about it.
- 8:26Speaker 2: There are millions of people who now know about it
- 8:29Speaker 2: because of Dancing with the Stars, which I love. So Yes,
- 8:34Speaker 2: it was hard, but it was it was just plain hard.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It was just you know, just really hard, just because
- 8:40Speaker 2: it was brand new, all of it. And then yes,
- 8:44Speaker 2: for them, it's kind of the flip thing, like they
- 8:46Speaker 2: have so much knowledge of it and they kind of
- 8:49Speaker 2: have to squash it down in order to really lift
- 8:52Speaker 2: these people up. And that's I feel like that's a
- 8:55Speaker 2: conscious choice because they could very well be like, oh yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 2: are you kids? Like that was ridiculous, you know, because
- 9:05Speaker 2: they are so used to perfection and excellence when it
- 9:09Speaker 2: comes to the details, you know. I remember I was
- 9:13Speaker 2: thinking about this last night. In our rehearsals. Louis was
- 9:17Speaker 2: very much all about placement of your hand. This is
- 9:22Speaker 2: where it's supposed to be in this particular dance. This
- 9:25Speaker 2: is what your foot is supposed to be doing. This
- 9:27Speaker 2: is what your leg like, your head, your whatever, you know,
- 9:30Speaker 2: like all of it very detailed, and he started with that.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It was never general. It was never general. It was
- 9:38Speaker 2: very specific, and I wish that I had been on
- 9:44Speaker 2: the show later so that we could have started more
- 9:47Speaker 2: general and not like, I feel like, because it was
- 9:52Speaker 2: it was him and that was that's his thing. Like
- 9:54Speaker 2: he's very specific, which I love, But also it was
- 9:58Speaker 2: really hard because I feel like now in this first
- 10:02Speaker 2: two seasons two episodes of this even they are very
- 10:07Speaker 2: like they're doing very general moves, like Derek pointed out
- 10:12Speaker 2: closing doors or sliding doors. It's in the rumba. It's
- 10:14Speaker 2: a move in the rumba. And I think that that
- 10:17Speaker 2: was Joey's dance. He Derek credited them for doing sliding doors.
- 10:22Speaker 2: And I know that Louis got such like pride when
- 10:26Speaker 2: a judge would point out that we included very traditional
- 10:29Speaker 2: parts of whatever dance we were doing. So I love that.
- 10:33Speaker 2: But I will say it is very hard for these judges.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I think that I've always thought that it's amazing to
- 10:43Speaker 2: me that these judges, especially Carrie and Bruno or Carrie
- 10:47Speaker 2: and Bruno, have been on the show for so long
- 10:51Speaker 2: and yet they can continue to come up with new
- 10:53Speaker 2: things to say, like yeah, you know what I mean,
- 10:56Speaker 2: Like it's like, how many people have been on the
- 10:57Speaker 2: show so many and how how can you not say
- 11:01Speaker 2: like the same things. And I'm sure they say similar things,
- 11:04Speaker 2: but I really give them kudos for for doing such
- 11:09Speaker 2: a good job at at lifting these people up, giving
- 11:13Speaker 2: them some positivity when they could completely just be like oh.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that was rotten. Well, let me ask you
- 11:21Speaker 1: this too, and this is this is something that I
- 11:22Speaker 1: just thought of. What's Dwight's partner's name, Daniella, Daniella and Dwight.
- 11:27Speaker 1: That's it dan Yelluy sorry, And you know it was
- 11:29Speaker 1: something like that. And there's such a hype difference. I mean,
- 11:32Speaker 1: so for you and Louie, was it weird that it
- 11:34Speaker 1: was the opposite because you're so much taller than Louis Ah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: just kidding, Louie. You know I love you, brother.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I'm just h that's really not taller. I had five too,
- 11:46Speaker 2: I'm probably I don't know if I'm taller than Anna
- 11:49Speaker 2: or what. I don't know. Anyway, I think.
- 11:51Speaker 1: You guys are I think she's like five to one
- 11:53Speaker 1: or something.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Okay, Oh that's yeah, she's tiny.
- 11:55Speaker 1: She's tiny.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Okay, So last night I want to hear who your
- 12:00Speaker 2: favorite was. But holy cow, she continues to impress me. Chandler.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I thought I thought she should have been given a ten,
- 12:09Speaker 2: like if it was later in the season, I guarantee
- 12:14Speaker 2: you she would have.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah. They're saving it. They're saving it.
- 12:17Speaker 2: They are totally saving it.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I will say this. When she first got up there,
- 12:21Speaker 1: Danielle and Duight, that's it. Dan yell, duay, Sorry, I
- 12:23Speaker 1: know it was something like that when when they got
- 12:27Speaker 1: out there, I legit forgot who the pro was for
- 12:31Speaker 1: a second, right, I was like, I was like, wait,
- 12:33Speaker 1: who is this dude? Because I was like, you know,
- 12:35Speaker 1: because the chick's obviously pro, so who's this dude? And
- 12:38Speaker 1: I'm like, I recognize that guy. I should be on
- 12:41Speaker 1: this damn show. And then all of a sudden like, oh,
- 12:42Speaker 1: in no wonder, I don't recognize him because she's the
- 12:44Speaker 1: celebrity and she's I mean, yeah, she's awesome, like absolutely awesome.
- 12:49Speaker 2: She is so talented, like Derek said, she was born
- 12:53Speaker 2: to dance, Like I really hope that she's one of
- 12:56Speaker 2: the ones after this show that gets like an offer
- 12:58Speaker 2: to do Broadway or something because she's something so amazing.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Let's talk about Joey for a second, because I, like
- 13:16Speaker 1: I said to you earlier, I feel like that dude
- 13:20Speaker 1: is blossoming into a really great dancer, which it was
- 13:24Speaker 1: almost like it was almost I mean, first of all,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and he's like starting to look like Guesteux or something.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I mean, in every episode he's got a shirt hardly on.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It's like watching Fabio in the old I can't believe
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's not butter commercials. It's like he's you know, he's
- 13:37Speaker 1: like all you know, and but he's killing it, like
- 13:40Speaker 1: he's really doing a great job. And he and his
- 13:43Speaker 1: partner are just like really vibing, which is really awesome
- 13:45Speaker 1: to see. And yeah, I mean I was really impressed
- 13:49Speaker 1: with him last.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Night, very impressed, very impressed with his composure with like everything,
- 13:56Speaker 2: like his placement of his hand when he like ge
- 13:58Speaker 2: is holding her like and they're really connecting on stage,
- 14:03Speaker 2: like not just on the you know, the footage that
- 14:06Speaker 2: you see from rehearsal. I feel like their connection is legit.
- 14:10Speaker 2: And and even more kudos to him because again Vall
- 14:14Speaker 2: comes in the studio and is helping him and to
- 14:18Speaker 2: do that kind of stuff with with because I think
- 14:22Speaker 2: we brought this up last week to dance so like
- 14:25Speaker 2: seductively with partner and her husband is the one teaching
- 14:30Speaker 2: you and like in the room with you saying, you know, whatever,
- 14:35Speaker 2: get closer, get tighter.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Well, you know, let's be honest, though, I think you know,
- 14:41Speaker 1: it's become sort of a thing, right like the the
- 14:44Speaker 1: lead uh you know, from the from the series will
- 14:47Speaker 1: go on to dancing with the stars as their next
- 14:49Speaker 1: thing when it sinks up and timing wise, and our
- 14:53Speaker 1: show does not have the greatest track record successful relationships,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and I think a lot of a lot of that
- 14:58Speaker 1: comes from Insecure. And people go on to this show
- 15:02Speaker 1: and they're dancing with their partner and their chosen one,
- 15:06Speaker 1: the betrothed that they pick from the show is sitting
- 15:09Speaker 1: back home watching it, you know, which I don't think
- 15:12Speaker 1: necessarily been the case so far with Joey and Kelsey,
- 15:14Speaker 1: but I think that it sort of takes the stigma
- 15:17Speaker 1: away of him having to dance seductively and connecting, you know,
- 15:21Speaker 1: with a passionate look or whatever. So even if Kelsey
- 15:24Speaker 1: weren't there as much as I think she has been,
- 15:27Speaker 1: but even if she weren't and she's watching from home,
- 15:29Speaker 1: knowing that vow's a part of those rehearsals, right, because
- 15:32Speaker 1: this is sexy seductiveness and it is getting close, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: it is you know. I mean, if you've ever hung
- 15:38Speaker 1: out with dancers, you know that they're very body aware
- 15:41Speaker 1: and they they're fine and they're comfortable, and so you know,
- 15:44Speaker 1: for something that may be uncomfortable for someone else to
- 15:47Speaker 1: watch or see, isn't uncomfortable for a dancer, and so
- 15:50Speaker 1: I think a lot of times some of the relationships,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you know, that may have been kind of shaky would
- 15:56Speaker 1: go into Dancing with the stars, and that was like,
- 15:58Speaker 1: that was a final nail on the coffin, right, even
- 16:00Speaker 1: if not even if nothing happened between them, the dancer
- 16:03Speaker 1: and the and the celebrity. So I do feel like, yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I feel like this is kind of a recipe, a
- 16:09Speaker 1: really good recipe, having val in there and being the
- 16:13Speaker 1: guy going, no, bro, come here, pull her closer, hold
- 16:15Speaker 1: her by her hips, you know, and all this kind
- 16:16Speaker 1: of stuff which could be interpreted very differently at home
- 16:19Speaker 1: if it wasn't her husband doing it and saying to
- 16:21Speaker 1: do it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I love that. I love that one shocking
- 16:26Speaker 2: moment that I have to bring up. And I don't
- 16:30Speaker 2: really even want to give her like airtime, but I
- 16:33Speaker 2: have to talk about.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It because hold on, this is the spoiler. Is the
- 16:36Speaker 1: spoiler that if you're doing what if you're talking.
- 16:38Speaker 2: About that, oh, the disrespect, like I was shocked.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Anna, are you talking about that?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Anna goes home? Okay, she's the one who got She's
- 16:51Speaker 2: one of the ones who got booted. And and I
- 16:55Speaker 2: can say that because I was the first one to
- 16:56Speaker 2: ever boot on the show, so I can say booted,
- 16:58Speaker 2: we got we all got booted.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Well, especially the way Anna was, we could say Anna
- 17:02Speaker 1: got kicked to the curb.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Anna got kicked to the curb. And Julian said, so
- 17:07Speaker 2: what we what are you going to take away from
- 17:09Speaker 2: this show? And she goes nothing, And I was like, like,
- 17:14Speaker 2: is she trying to be I was thinking, is she
- 17:15Speaker 2: trying to be funny? Like I proused for a minute,
- 17:18Speaker 2: thinking yeah, there's gonna be some follow up with that. No, okay,
- 17:23Speaker 2: Julian's face.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Was like I love that. They both go you've got
- 17:27Speaker 1: a good time. You know, they like, but you've got
- 17:30Speaker 1: a good time. First of all. You know, some people
- 17:36Speaker 1: are trying to think how Kathy Swartz said this to
- 17:38Speaker 1: me one time, But she goes, you can't make a
- 17:40Speaker 1: duck of goose, so you can't make a red line
- 17:42Speaker 1: of blue line or whatever. I forget. She and she
- 17:44Speaker 1: and her friends have this saying together Kathy and and
- 17:48Speaker 1: seeing all them and one of the they say something
- 17:51Speaker 1: like that. But I remember thinking to myself last night,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I'm like, you know this this this girl was portrayed
- 17:57Speaker 1: in this movie as a pos right, just didn't care
- 18:02Speaker 1: who got hurt with what she did and was very
- 18:04Speaker 1: you know and in fact, like literally her first thing
- 18:07Speaker 1: she does when she comes to the United States, which
- 18:09Speaker 1: is the first time she's been allowed back in the
- 18:10Speaker 1: States for quite some time, is to go on this show.
- 18:14Speaker 1: And she had an opportunity, even though she was the
- 18:17Speaker 1: first one voted off, she had an opportunity to change
- 18:20Speaker 1: people's images of her, you know. Yeah, And I mean,
- 18:23Speaker 1: so here's a big spoiler. First of all, it wasn't
- 18:27Speaker 1: It wasn't Eric Roberts, right, And it wasn't what's the
- 18:31Speaker 1: dad's name from Oracle family matters. It wasn't those two
- 18:36Speaker 1: dudes who I thought for sure it was done. Yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 1: and it ended up being Anna, and I hate to
- 18:42Speaker 1: say it, Tory Spelling. She was so sad, but Tory.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I think maybe Anna looked even worse because Tory looked
- 18:51Speaker 1: so good in the way that she handled herself. She's like, well,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I'm not going anywhere. I'm having too much fun. And
- 18:56Speaker 1: then she's like, you know, your kids are here. What
- 18:57Speaker 1: do you have to say to him? And she looked
- 18:59Speaker 1: like she was gonna cry that you can do anything
- 19:00Speaker 1: you want to do. I mean look at me, and
- 19:03Speaker 1: it was very inspiring and very sweet, as Tory always is. Yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and then you flip the screen over to this other
- 19:10Speaker 1: chick and she's so like, you know whatever, and she
- 19:13Speaker 1: had a chance, man, she had a chance right there
- 19:16Speaker 1: to you know, maybe not be you know, this total person.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what they say, fool me once, shame
- 19:25Speaker 2: on me. Told me twice, no one, shame on you. Fullman,
- 19:28Speaker 2: twice shame on me. So I feel like, and honestly,
- 19:33Speaker 2: I was thinking, is she saying nothing because she was
- 19:38Speaker 2: convicted of grand larceny and so she she took a
- 19:41Speaker 2: bunch of stuff from people? So is she saying nothing
- 19:44Speaker 2: because she's not stealing anything from the show.
- 19:48Speaker 1: But then you know, you know that chick took away
- 19:50Speaker 1: some stuff, like you know, she's got like a purse
- 19:53Speaker 1: full of makeup wipes, and you know she's got like,
- 19:56Speaker 1: you know, she's taking all of her shoes. I'm sure. Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 1: well they give you you can keep. I don't know.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I don't know. I've never been on the show. It's
- 20:05Speaker 1: like being at a bachelor wedding. I've only been to one. Well,
- 20:09Speaker 1: i've been too, I've been it too.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Sorry, I was like, have not just been to one
- 20:12Speaker 2: That's that's a lie.
- 20:14Speaker 1: That's a lie.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So yes, I was. I was shocked. I mean when
- 20:18Speaker 2: we were just saying last week how it seemed like
- 20:22Speaker 2: everyone was grateful for being on the show, and then
- 20:26Speaker 2: get to you know, Anna, and she's like, I will
- 20:30Speaker 2: take away nothing, and poor Ezra, her partner.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I know, what did you see him? He was almost
- 20:34Speaker 1: like he kind of went see he was almost like
- 20:37Speaker 1: his reaction I think even spoke more volumes than what
- 20:41Speaker 1: she said. His reaction was almost kind of like this
- 20:43Speaker 1: is what I've been dealing with, you know. So I
- 20:47Speaker 1: mean I felt bad for him because I know he's
- 20:49Speaker 1: a super nice guy.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Oh gosh, that's just even if he wasn't like that
- 20:53Speaker 2: was so rude, so rude.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah, because he's worked super hard. Like I mean, what
- 20:58Speaker 1: if she were even to say, you know, she could
- 20:59Speaker 1: have even say, well, I'm really disappointed, but you know,
- 21:02Speaker 1: I'm so glad I have this nice relationship with him, Ezra.
- 21:05Speaker 1: He's been wonderful to me. You know, the friendship will
- 21:07Speaker 1: last forever, you know.
- 21:09Speaker 2: And what I thought was hysterical. Julia Fox came in
- 21:14Speaker 2: and she said, if this was anyone's sister then, or
- 21:19Speaker 2: their cousin or their friend. You know that they would
- 21:23Speaker 2: want to give this person a second chance, right, Yeah,
- 21:26Speaker 2: And she's not all that to all these people. So
- 21:29Speaker 2: all these people are like, why is she on the show?
- 21:32Speaker 2: You know she's she's a felon or whatever.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah. So and then.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Julia in the rehearsal is like, she is such a
- 21:40Speaker 2: sweetie pie, Like she's such a sweetie pie. And I'm like, oh,
- 21:44Speaker 2: is she Like she really proved that that's not true?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Like, I don't know, lest we forget Julia Fox is
- 21:52Speaker 1: an actress. Perhaps perhaps she was paid to come in
- 21:56Speaker 1: there and put on this act. I don't know, I'll
- 21:58Speaker 1: just kidd yeah, I don't know. I know, you know
- 22:00Speaker 1: what I'm sure it is. I'm sure it's a defense mechanism, right,
- 22:03Speaker 1: like when people are hurt or they've they've gone through stuff,
- 22:06Speaker 1: they might come off hardened. And and you know, her
- 22:09Speaker 1: response was probably out of embarrassment. I mean, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 1: even though even though she wasn't the best dancer on
- 22:15Speaker 1: the show, I don't think she was the worst. And
- 22:18Speaker 1: so it's like, you know, to go home on that
- 22:20Speaker 1: first night and it's like, you know, you feel like
- 22:24Speaker 1: a little bit of embarrassment, you feel a little bit
- 22:26Speaker 1: of you know, And I mean at the end of
- 22:28Speaker 1: the day, she probably didn't have any fan votes, and
- 22:31Speaker 1: she can't count on any. I mean, it's not like
- 22:33Speaker 1: she's endeared herself to the American public, so you know,
- 22:36Speaker 1: how is she going to count on fan votes to
- 22:38Speaker 1: save her when the judge's votes weren't good either. So
- 22:41Speaker 1: but I was surprised for Tory because I thought Tory
- 22:46Speaker 1: was definitely, you know, learning to become a better dancer.
- 22:49Speaker 1: But I also know how much people love her, like
- 22:52Speaker 1: and they just didn't vote, I guess, you know, so
- 22:54Speaker 1: ultimately they didn't save her, which is a bummer because
- 22:56Speaker 1: I think I think she should have been on there
- 22:58Speaker 1: a few more weeks.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Totally agree. I love Toy. I I feel like she
- 23:05Speaker 2: had such enthusiasm for being there and I wish would
- 23:08Speaker 2: be rewarded in some way, you know.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And she's had such a crummy year. I mean, getting
- 23:13Speaker 1: divorced sucks no matter how you slice it. But when
- 23:17Speaker 1: you you know, I mean, we just had my ex
- 23:19Speaker 1: wife on two weeks ago, right, and it was great
- 23:21Speaker 1: and it was like lovely to see her, and we
- 23:23Speaker 1: still get along nice. Getting divorce sucks when you when
- 23:26Speaker 1: you're when you go through it and it's still someone
- 23:28Speaker 1: you care about. Yeah, getting divorced in really and it's
- 23:32Speaker 1: embarrassing when you go through that, even when you know
- 23:35Speaker 1: it wasn't right and it's probably the right thing or
- 23:37Speaker 1: whatever to go through. What Tory has gone through publicly
- 23:40Speaker 1: is so shameful for that dude, first of all, and
- 23:44Speaker 1: for to do that to his family and his children
- 23:47Speaker 1: and his wife. But it's also like, you know, it's
- 23:49Speaker 1: also just embarrassing because you don't feel like like every
- 23:53Speaker 1: time someone sees you like this, probably and we know
- 23:55Speaker 1: how people can be, they don't mean it, but like
- 23:57Speaker 1: the first thing you know they say is probably something
- 23:59Speaker 1: about what she's going through her husband, because it's always
- 24:01Speaker 1: in the tabloids and stuff. So it's like, you know,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm sure it's just hurtful and I don't know, but
- 24:07Speaker 1: I mean, you know, to go through it and to
- 24:09Speaker 1: come out and be you know, voted off, and to
- 24:11Speaker 1: be so gracious like she was. I thought Tory did
- 24:14Speaker 1: great for herself in that regard, and I thought, like
- 24:16Speaker 1: you said, Anna, Anna pooped the bed, as they say
- 24:19Speaker 1: in Spain, I do want to say. I.
- 24:25Speaker 2: First I missed it because I was having TV issues,
- 24:28Speaker 2: and then I watched it this morning. Jen was right
- 24:31Speaker 2: out the gate, first one to go on the stage. Yes,
- 24:35Speaker 2: and she had music problems, which fully crap. That would
- 24:39Speaker 2: so stress me out.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Like I mean, honestly, I've never seen that before.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, so stressful. So I thought she did amazing,
- 24:48Speaker 2: especially because she had no music in the beginning, just
- 24:53Speaker 2: like clicks going on, so unbelievable. So great job, Jen,
- 24:58Speaker 2: I did hear there's some rumblings of Sasha called her
- 25:04Speaker 2: babe or something in an interview, and so there's like
- 25:07Speaker 2: talk of like the two of them dating. But then
- 25:11Speaker 2: Jonathan came again last night to the show to support her,
- 25:16Speaker 2: and so is she dating him? Like I thought that
- 25:21Speaker 2: they announced maybe that they're dating, But is she dating Sasha,
- 25:25Speaker 2: like I hear for all the juicy this like.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I am, I think I think I was gonna I
- 25:32Speaker 1: was gonna ask you about that, not not about them
- 25:35Speaker 1: in particular, but about someone else that I think there
- 25:37Speaker 1: might be a little bit of a love connection, particularly clearly.
- 25:42Speaker 2: For sure they are Actually I was just on Instagram
- 25:45Speaker 2: before this and People Magazine just put out something on
- 25:50Speaker 2: their Instagram page about how Brooks and Gleb were like
- 25:54Speaker 2: kissing backstage like all night long.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Oh man, well they did kiss on there in their
- 25:59Speaker 1: routine during Maybe that comfortability just sort of spills over
- 26:06Speaker 1: into real life. I don't know.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Well, I mean, please, they're both hot, they're both single,
- 26:11Speaker 2: it seems, and they're you know, rehearsing very in very
- 26:16Speaker 2: close quarters all day long. So it's just like if
- 26:21Speaker 2: you're single and willing to like attract it to each other.
- 26:25Speaker 2: It seems like they're very attractive. They have great chemistry.
- 26:28Speaker 2: She did great last night too, And and yes, I
- 26:33Speaker 2: love that duo. I love the show mances.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Bring it up, I too, I love the Showmances. I do.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I love them. Yeah, I thought I thought it was
- 26:42Speaker 1: a great show last night. I thought that, And in
- 26:45Speaker 1: a weird way, the ending was almost fitting, right because
- 26:48Speaker 1: I mean it was an Oscar episode, so it could
- 26:50Speaker 1: have been, Yeah, it could have been like we got
- 26:53Speaker 1: the drama, we got the you know, we got the
- 26:55Speaker 1: feel good rom com, and then we got the drama.
- 26:57Speaker 1: You know. So yeah, but I thought I thought our
- 27:02Speaker 1: picks all did great, And like I said, I think
- 27:06Speaker 1: the only disappointing factor was for me anyway, it was
- 27:10Speaker 1: because I really love Tori personally, was to see her
- 27:13Speaker 1: go home, and I thought she was a better dancer,
- 27:16Speaker 1: you know. But it's interesting I think in those moments too,
- 27:18Speaker 1: you like, we talked about this on our first episode recap,
- 27:21Speaker 1: where you know, I had heard this was true, and
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm almost positive that it was, or that it is.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Rather was that in the early seasons, it was all
- 27:28Speaker 1: about the judges vote, right, because they didn't even really
- 27:31Speaker 1: have the fan vote contingent working like it does now though,
- 27:36Speaker 1: And now it's like the fan vote drives it, you know.
- 27:39Speaker 1: So I mean, you could be the worst dancer and
- 27:41Speaker 1: be in the top five, you know, and it's like
- 27:44Speaker 1: that wouldn't happen when you did it, because it was
- 27:47Speaker 1: it was like a weird algorithm. But it was still
- 27:49Speaker 1: the judges vote. I think that carried the more you know,
- 27:52Speaker 1: significant totals.
- 28:04Speaker 2: We do have to touch on a couple more people.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Alana the Rugby Olympic. Yes, Claire, when she lifted Allen,
- 28:13Speaker 2: I literally was belly laughing, like hysterical, like that was amazing,
- 28:20Speaker 2: and then she did it again, like.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh I couldn't imagine so good. I
- 28:27Speaker 1: have never I've never danced with anyone that could lift
- 28:31Speaker 1: me my whole life, and so I can only imagine
- 28:34Speaker 1: how I had to feel, right. I think even when
- 28:36Speaker 1: I was a baby, I was like, you know, sixty
- 28:38Speaker 1: pounds out of the womb. I think, I don't know.
- 28:40Speaker 1: So it's like no one's doing deadlifts with me walking
- 28:43Speaker 1: around the house.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that was such a fun moment. I
- 28:47Speaker 2: loved that. The fact that she picked him up like
- 28:50Speaker 2: it was amazing.
- 28:50Speaker 1: It was kind of like their answer to the Dwight,
- 28:53Speaker 1: the Dwight Howard from the week before, right, so yes, and.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Then the Olympic gymnast Superman. He did Superman. I just
- 29:03Speaker 2: he makes me so happy.
- 29:05Speaker 1: With those with those glasses and his whole story. His
- 29:08Speaker 1: backstory is brilliant, you know. I mean it's like I
- 29:12Speaker 1: love that guy. Love Like like, there are a lot
- 29:14Speaker 1: of people on the show this year. I mean, obviously,
- 29:17Speaker 1: you know, even though I've not I have to meet
- 29:20Speaker 1: Joey Oen but in my mind I feel like I
- 29:24Speaker 1: know them, so I want them in the finals. Right,
- 29:26Speaker 1: But it's like, you know, there are so many people
- 29:28Speaker 1: that I'm like, oh my god, yeah, that person I'd
- 29:30Speaker 1: love to see them win.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Oh and Denny al mondolo amazing, he did great last night.
- 29:37Speaker 2: And then Dwight Howard like, he looks amazing too, and
- 29:41Speaker 2: he has so much fun and he's so joyful. I
- 29:44Speaker 2: just there are so many people this season like I
- 29:49Speaker 2: When when the cast list came out, I have to say, like, oh, okay,
- 29:53Speaker 2: that you know, that seems cool. I'll watch whatever.
- 29:56Speaker 1: That's how I feel.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Wasn't super excited, but now I am after watching them
- 30:00Speaker 2: every week, I really feel like it's such a great
- 30:02Speaker 2: cast and everyone has something to bring to the table.
- 30:05Speaker 1: I think, you know, I think you're right. I think
- 30:08Speaker 1: I was the same way, like the cast lists came
- 30:10Speaker 1: out and I was like, oh, okay, yeah, I know,
- 30:12Speaker 1: I know her. I know her. That's cool, you know,
- 30:15Speaker 1: And so I wanted to tune in to see people
- 30:16Speaker 1: that I'm friendly with or whatever. But it wasn't like,
- 30:19Speaker 1: oh wow, what a great pick at the time. And
- 30:21Speaker 1: now when you're watching the chemistry of the of the show,
- 30:24Speaker 1: and you know, I feel like, I don't know, I
- 30:27Speaker 1: don't know why I feel this way, but I always
- 30:29Speaker 1: thought Faedra is that how I see I say her
- 30:31Speaker 1: name is Keevin Burring everyone's name todaysa aa. I you know,
- 30:36Speaker 1: I guess in my mind, I've always thought that someone
- 30:39Speaker 1: other than Lisa Rena, who are and even you know,
- 30:43Speaker 1: I mean even Kyle, you know, like the ones, the
- 30:46Speaker 1: people that I know from the Real Housewives franchise. I
- 30:50Speaker 1: always really I've loved I love them, and I've always
- 30:52Speaker 1: enjoyed them, study Mallen Camp, all of them. But it's
- 30:55Speaker 1: funny whenever I see someone who's coming on the show
- 30:56Speaker 1: from something like that, I assume they're gonna be drama,
- 31:01Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And that's not fair of
- 31:03Speaker 1: me to do that, but it is just it just
- 31:06Speaker 1: is something that I'm assuming. And she's so not like
- 31:09Speaker 1: she seems like she is just a breath of fresh
- 31:12Speaker 1: air man every time she's out there.
- 31:14Speaker 2: And she's just so like blatantly honest in a fun way.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Like I I watched her on Traders And and loved
- 31:23Speaker 2: her on that. I don't I don't follow her Real Housewives,
- 31:26Speaker 2: but I did watch her on Traders And and I think,
- 31:30Speaker 2: I mean, she's really fun to watch too. Like everyone,
- 31:33Speaker 2: I feel like I'm missing people too, Like there's somebody
- 31:36Speaker 2: I'm missing, but they're still they're amazing too, you know
- 31:39Speaker 2: what I mean, Like.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Everyone on ye, there's a stinker in the bunch.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I will say. Chandler just stands out to me. She
- 31:45Speaker 2: should have gotten a ten last night and I told
- 31:48Speaker 2: I was sitting I was watching with my my son's
- 31:52Speaker 2: girlfriend last night, she was over, and I was like,
- 31:56Speaker 2: she she should get a ten. I don't think she
- 31:59Speaker 2: made a mistakes. And they're not going to give her
- 32:04Speaker 2: a ten because it's like only it's too early.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because once they give that ten out, you know,
- 32:10Speaker 1: in their minds, they can't can't give it out for
- 32:12Speaker 1: anything that isn't above that moving forward.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, you're right.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I agree. Yeah. I wonder when I wonder what we'll
- 32:17Speaker 1: see our first ten of the season. I'm going to
- 32:19Speaker 1: say episode four. I don't think we'll see any next week,
- 32:22Speaker 1: but episode four, because how many episodes is this season?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Do you know? Is it ten?
- 32:25Speaker 2: I don't know that's a good ques.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Twelve, I'm not sure. But yeah, but hold on, you
- 32:30Speaker 1: just mentioned our little guy Max has a girlfriend.
- 32:34Speaker 2: What he has had a girlfriend since the first day
- 32:36Speaker 2: of school last year.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 32:39Speaker 2: They just celebrated their one year anniversary. Yes, her name
- 32:44Speaker 2: is Maggie, love her, love her family. She is. That's awesome, greatheart,
- 32:48Speaker 2: and yeah, she's been a huge blessing for.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Our You guys moved from last year's beginning of the.
- 32:55Speaker 2: School year, so we moved and he started school at
- 32:58Speaker 2: a new school and they met the first stay of him.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Cool timing. I love it.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I mean I remember I called Blakesley or I texted Blakesley,
- 33:10Speaker 2: and you know, I was worried about him. Like she
- 33:14Speaker 2: she was coming in as a freshman, and they all
- 33:17Speaker 2: started as a freshman at our school. It's nine through twelve,
- 33:20Speaker 2: and he was coming in as a transfer student. So
- 33:23Speaker 2: it's just, you know, harder for him because like everyone's
- 33:27Speaker 2: kind of more set and there ways, you know, sophomore year.
- 33:30Speaker 2: And so I was a little bit more worried about him.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And I said, Blakesley, who was he sitting with at
- 33:34Speaker 2: lunch the first this is the first day last year.
- 33:38Speaker 2: And she was like, mom, he was with the girl
- 33:40Speaker 2: all day long. And I was like, wait, what, Yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 2: it's so awesome before that and he was with this
- 33:48Speaker 2: girl might be all day long.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I feel like there's a way that I could somehow
- 33:52Speaker 1: make this that I'm responsible for this here's how he
- 33:56Speaker 1: had just come off of meeting me. Yeah, and you
- 34:00Speaker 1: introduced me as your ex boyfriend. Yeah, and maybe he
- 34:03Speaker 1: was like okay, all right, maybe I maybe I'm ready
- 34:06Speaker 1: for this because this guy is super cool and we
- 34:09Speaker 1: had such great conversations while he was on his phone.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Playing that's right, while he was on his phone, yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Playing games and not talking to me the hole time.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, Max, man, I saw I was roommates
- 34:22Speaker 1: with your dad in the mansion and uh, you know.
- 34:25Speaker 1: And he's like, okay, yeah, and I think I think
- 34:29Speaker 1: I might have just like in the middle of my
- 34:31Speaker 1: conversation just sort of stopped and walked away because I
- 34:33Speaker 1: could tell he did not care until again, he was
- 34:36Speaker 1: very sweet to me, very sweet.
- 34:38Speaker 2: It's hard for him, like, you know, conversations with people
- 34:42Speaker 2: he doesn't know or oh.
- 34:43Speaker 1: God, yeah, it's trusting. It's the it's the teen the
- 34:47Speaker 1: teen dilemma. I'm telling you my buddies kids. My buddy
- 34:50Speaker 1: calls me the other day and he's like, hey, do
- 34:53Speaker 1: you want to come over and hang out at our house?
- 34:55Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, yeah, why what's up. He's like, well,
- 34:59Speaker 1: you know, and my buddy and I are very similar,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and he's like, just he loves to talk to anyone,
- 35:04Speaker 1: you know, and his kids are so sweet to me,
- 35:07Speaker 1: but not they won't talk to him. He's like, dude,
- 35:10Speaker 1: He's like, if I don't know what's going on, but
- 35:12Speaker 1: if you're here, I can. They'll talk. And so if
- 35:15Speaker 1: I'm asking the same questions, they'll answer them because you're here.
- 35:19Speaker 1: So do you want to come over? And I'm like,
- 35:21Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, so I go. Can I bring the
- 35:23Speaker 1: boys because my boys love his boy? Yeah, of course
- 35:25Speaker 1: I bring the boys over. You know, his kids are
- 35:27Speaker 1: teenagers mine five and three, but they're like, oh, you know,
- 35:29Speaker 1: they're just dreamy and you know, it was really funny.
- 35:33Speaker 2: But that's really cute. I love it.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Not looking forward to those days.
- 35:37Speaker 2: But anyway, oh yeah, and teenage days or you know,
- 35:41Speaker 2: they're a little bit of a rollercoaster, but you know,
- 35:45Speaker 2: you just gotta hold on tight, hold on tight. Well.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Always great catching up with you, my dear friend, and
- 35:53Speaker 1: it was another wonderful episode of Almost Famous to OG's.
- 35:56Speaker 1: We will of course be back next week doing our
- 35:59Speaker 1: recap of Dancing with the Stars Episode three. Who you Think? Okay,
- 36:03Speaker 1: we were both wrong this week as to who we
- 36:06Speaker 1: thought was going home, right, so the next one will
- 36:10Speaker 1: be well, actually, isn't it in two weeks? Because I
- 36:14Speaker 1: thought they said the ballroom was dark? Next week is
- 36:18Speaker 1: sign h yeah, and so the following week, so they'll
- 36:21Speaker 1: have two weeks to get ready for that next dance.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Probably only one person goes home that night, right, or
- 36:25Speaker 1: will it be two as well?
- 36:28Speaker 2: I bet because they skipped they skip a week that
- 36:30Speaker 2: it will be two.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Okay, So let's say it's two hypothetically, right, based on
- 36:37Speaker 1: this week's dances. That's all we can do based on
- 36:40Speaker 1: the last two weeks, based on what we know, not
- 36:42Speaker 1: what we don't know. Who do you think would be
- 36:46Speaker 1: on the chopping bottle? Let's say we can name three
- 36:49Speaker 1: couples that we think will be the lowest three couples
- 36:52Speaker 1: from a judge's score. Obviously they can be saved by
- 36:56Speaker 1: a fan vote, but if you were to look at
- 36:58Speaker 1: who's left in the competition, who do you think would
- 37:01Speaker 1: be the bottom three?
- 37:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna stick with our guests from I think we
- 37:06Speaker 2: both were on the same page about who he saw
- 37:08Speaker 2: we're going to go home this week, and that was
- 37:10Speaker 2: Eric and Reginald. Unfortunately, like I feel horrible for Eric
- 37:17Speaker 2: that he you know, suffered this horrible car accent and
- 37:20Speaker 2: has really with movement. So the fact that they're even
- 37:25Speaker 2: trying it, like, I love that he's there. And then
- 37:28Speaker 2: Reginald was joking about how he just can't move, you know,
- 37:32Speaker 2: like it's just hard for him.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel I feel you, Reginald.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I feel same same. Yes, I feel like because there
- 37:44Speaker 2: isn't as much dancing going on with those two. It's
- 37:48Speaker 2: kind of like their partners are, you know, shimmying around
- 37:50Speaker 2: them and stuff. I feel like they would will uh
- 37:57Speaker 2: who knows. You know, we were long this week.
- 37:59Speaker 1: But I think you're right. I think the jig is
- 38:02Speaker 1: up at that point, right, because because then it's almost
- 38:04Speaker 1: like a disservice to people who are really you know,
- 38:08Speaker 1: able to And I get it. I mean, you know,
- 38:11Speaker 1: you almost feel like like you're age shaming to a
- 38:13Speaker 1: certain degree, right, But I'm the same age as these guys,
- 38:17Speaker 1: so I can say whatever I want. But I think,
- 38:19Speaker 1: I think to a certain degree, there is there is
- 38:21Speaker 1: a part of it that's like, you know, okay, I mean,
- 38:24Speaker 1: who are you going to send home? Then Danny Imidola,
- 38:25Speaker 1: who's dancing his ass off or you know, or God forbid,
- 38:29Speaker 1: you know, Jen or Joey or a whole myriad of
- 38:33Speaker 1: other people that are really I want to watch him dance,
- 38:37Speaker 1: you know. And I think there's a certain charm that
- 38:39Speaker 1: Reginald possesses that yeah, comes through when he's out there,
- 38:42Speaker 1: and it's very sweet, and I think that could carry
- 38:44Speaker 1: him a little longer. But then who goes home in
- 38:48Speaker 1: place of him? You know? So it's like you're starting
- 38:50Speaker 1: to get to a point where it's like you're gonna
- 38:51Speaker 1: be down to eight couples and they're all pretty good,
- 38:54Speaker 1: and the shtick it will only last for so long
- 38:57Speaker 1: of you know, getting out there and not moving right.
- 39:00Speaker 1: So I hate to say it that way, but that's
- 39:03Speaker 1: just kind of I don't know. I mean, I'm the
- 39:05Speaker 1: furthest from you know, someone who could critique anyone's dancing skills,
- 39:08Speaker 1: but I am incredibly well known for my running man
- 39:13Speaker 1: and I think that uh do a running man much
- 39:22Speaker 1: better than some Yeah. No, I don't know. I wonder,
- 39:25Speaker 1: I wonder what will happen, But I'm kind of with you.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I think I think that, you know, especially if there's
- 39:30Speaker 1: gonna be two people going home, you look at the
- 39:33Speaker 1: rest of that cast list, I'd be hard pressed to
- 39:36Speaker 1: say that anyone else should go home before them.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I too. I think that they they
- 39:42Speaker 2: probably would say we've had a great time on the show. Yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I think it's just it might be time. It all
- 39:51Speaker 2: comes down to both judges and fan votes. And honestly,
- 39:56Speaker 2: I feel like people like Joey and Dan Madolo and
- 40:01Speaker 2: you know, the Olympic athletes, they have a bigger fan base,
- 40:07Speaker 2: So you would say they're going to get more votes
- 40:10Speaker 2: from you know, people who are probably watching the show
- 40:14Speaker 2: more than more than you know, the demographic of people who.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Used to Matters and well and you said it best too,
- 40:23Speaker 1: Bachelor Nation votes, man, And it's like, you know, vote.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I just what I don't want to happen because Bachelor
- 40:30Speaker 2: Nation votes is because there's two of them for the
- 40:33Speaker 2: votes to get split. And then you know what I mean,
- 40:37Speaker 2: So they're getting less votes because you know, people are
- 40:41Speaker 2: voting half for Joey half for Jen or however they're
- 40:44Speaker 2: deciding to.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Do it, so right, Yeah, yeah, that's a good point.
- 40:48Speaker 1: And that's a really good point. Well, I guess only
- 40:51Speaker 1: time will tell, and we of course will tell you
- 40:54Speaker 1: the day after. Yes, yes, interesting, all right, thank you
- 41:00Speaker 1: for listening to almost famous to Oh geez. We will
- 41:02Speaker 1: be back with another gripping episode. Until then, she has
- 41:07Speaker 1: been Trista Sutter nay Wren and I have been Robert Guinea. Godspeed, godspeed,
