- 0:03Enough enough. I don't have any harsh sh share your suck and we hold
- 0:09the world ransom for Wayne Yandy. Excuse me while I whipped this out broadcasting
- 0:16live and it leta Georgia. This this is the Sports Shock Show with Wayne
- 0:22Gandy. You may began you lean up, dang, frank me down.
- 0:29That comes to come to pet, it comes to Mark. Is it just
- 0:38I'm gonna do it big, I'm gonna go on the way you began.
- 0:43Welcome, Welcome, well good. I'm listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Throw it down, big man. Now
- 0:54that's my man. Bill Walton. Gotta give a Bill Walton some love right
- 0:59off the top, our man Bill Walton, the Hall of Famer, mister
- 1:07hippie himself. I was reading and if you don't know, the great Bill
- 1:11Walton passed away a couple of days ago, battle with cancer. But one
- 1:15of the more colorful figures, especially in the broadcasting. I would tune into
- 1:23a little Bill Walton just because Bill Walton can make you feel like your TV
- 1:30messed up. You tune in for the game. But whatever Bill talking about,
- 1:36you'd be thinking, is it bleeding sounds bleeding? For else. I
- 1:41must be watching one show that's bleeding into another. And I paid twenty five
- 1:45hundred dollars for this TV. Something need to be wrong. Commanding Gregg came
- 1:49over here, charged me twelve hundred dollars to set it up, and I'm
- 1:53bleeding in because Bill Walton be talking about some of anything, but he could
- 1:57always bring it back round to basketball, and that was always his big slogan
- 2:04is throw it down, big man. And some people and one thing I
- 2:08love to celebrate that we all leave here at some point, but some people
- 2:15they delight you while they're here. Bill Walton, as far as a commentator,
- 2:22was just a great guy doing it. He played as you know,
- 2:24he was the first pick when he came out, won two championships. I
- 2:28had a lot of injuries. He's one of those injury guys that their career
- 2:31just couldn't manifest because of the injuries. Think of kind of like Zion Williamson
- 2:40right now, not that it's going to continue to be that way, but
- 2:46or Greg Odin, those kind of guys throughout that just they had it.
- 2:51And we've seen the guy that was drafted before, Michael Jordan, Sambley,
- 2:54Moe where you can't say they were a bust right because the injuries were so
- 3:02prominent. They never got around to showing you they didn't live up. They
- 3:07couldn't live up to what you wanted because they was always hurting. Some people,
- 3:12I guess in a genetic way can just be that way. It seems
- 3:15like Kawhi Leonard has a little bit of that, like he could just get
- 3:21injured now those moments that he's not it's hall of fame, but in those
- 3:25moments it seems like there are a lot of injuries. But just want to
- 3:30give some love out to Bill Walton passing away. He was going to keep
- 3:36Hippie alive. He was going to still that shosh tree. He kept it
- 3:43alive, and what was the other would stop stopped? He fouled the Grateful
- 3:47Dead for decades and they ain't like, yeah, what is the Grateful Dead?
- 3:53Is a big song that I might know because they I was reading an
- 3:58article that said Bill estimated close to maybe a thousand Grateful Dead SERTs or shows
- 4:06and even a couple of people like a Robert Parrish or Danny ain't different.
- 4:13People said like their first encounter like maybe hanging out with Bill, so I
- 4:18guess Bill took everyone to the Great today. Grateful Yeah, now that's they
- 4:24call them dead heads, and that's say tradition with them is they will go
- 4:28on tour like a United States tour, and their fans will follow them to
- 4:32every single date of the tour and just keep watching the show over and they
- 4:38and they like zombies, and they purport, yes that it is a different
- 4:43show each time you see it now now, but it was last night.
- 4:46How did you change up? Sometimes they ain't even having a shell, you
- 4:50see what I'm saying. It's the Joshu Watree effect. Sometimes they just be
- 4:54in a field by theyself, Grateful Dead being a whole another sto. It's
- 4:57a group that Aaron Rodgers would have been following. Oh he yes, he
- 5:00would if he could, if he could keep up, you know, because
- 5:04sometimes you get distracted. You'll be following the Grateful Dead. You end up
- 5:08at a YouTube concert. You know what I'm saying. It's just it's one
- 5:11of those things. And well, during the show, if you find I
- 5:15never knew what the Greatest I always heard the name. It is a great
- 5:19name of a band. Yes, Grateful Dead, I mean now they have,
- 5:24but I never knew what they're top like the hit. Well, and
- 5:26that's what I'm saying. They've spanned so many generations that they had a song
- 5:30called Casey Jones driving that train, Jones the coach, No, just Casey
- 5:39Jones. What's the name of it? When the Casey Jones ahead of the
- 5:43It was the story of uh a locomotive engineer is. And then they had
- 5:50one when they came back in like the eighties. I will get by A
- 5:55Touch of Grace was the name of the song, Touch of Grace. See
- 5:57he even knows that one. Okay, so that video where so that might
- 6:00be the one if you put it on, I might know, righty,
- 6:02because that was the introducing them to the next generation of fans. Okay,
- 6:06Well, Bill Walton passing away seven y one, I'm quite sure somebody writes
- 6:14his book. It would be something colorful call throw it down, young man,
- 6:17throw it out, passing away and just wanting to give him some love
- 6:24on that. But Game five is tonight in the NBA. The Timberwolves able
- 6:29to put enough together the other night to push it to a game five.
- 6:32This game will be back in Minnesota, the MAVs going up three to one
- 6:41and man Anthony Edwards called Anthony towns. Who take a lot in the flack
- 6:46is called Anthony towns. He reportedly made an announcement or at some point word
- 6:53got out that he had mentioned that he practice shoots like fifteen hundred shots a
- 7:00day and don't shoot no better than that. And respectfully, I'm not trying
- 7:05to be critical, no judgment for me. I'm just saying, practice make
- 7:11perfect, right. He's been in a real slump, yeah for a minute,
- 7:15and he came out of it the other night. In the second half
- 7:18he scored like twenty points before he filed out in the second half. I
- 7:24think he maybe score like twenty six total. He scored twenty of them in
- 7:28the second half. They won the game. But a lot of the guys,
- 7:30especially on that TNT crew, from Saquille O'Neill to Charles Barkley to even
- 7:34Draymond Green, says that he's lying. He didn't. You don't shoot fifteen
- 7:41hundred shots today. Nobody shoots fifteen hundred shots a day. Well not.
- 7:46I don't think in the playoffs, Like, if you're in the midst of
- 7:49the playoffs, then the offseason, sure, but in the midst of a
- 7:53playoffs season, who has that kind of time. You never counted, never
- 7:57counted fifteen hundred shots. Yeah, I would imagine how long would I mean,
- 8:03I would imagine that's about at least a three hour and that's a three
- 8:09hour session unless he's doing him like I shoot an hour in the morning hour
- 8:15and you know, maybe he was breaking it down like that, but he
- 8:18wouldn't have the time in the playoffs. No, no, no, I
- 8:20can't imagine and then playing every other night and that's an hour or three hours
- 8:24consecutively, just continuously shooting the ball, no going to the side and drinking
- 8:31water or anything like that. So but Caat got hot in the second have
- 8:37against the MAVs on Tuesday night and push this series back to a game five.
- 8:46I've heard continuously that no team in NBA history has come down, has
- 8:50come back from three games down to win a series. But we have seen
- 8:56a team come back from three games down and push it to seven, haven't
- 8:58we? Yeah? Just well, just last year in the Eastern Finals.
- 9:03I thought that's only happened a couple of times. Yeah, yeah, and
- 9:07that's what I was thinking. I was like, that statistic sounded a bit
- 9:09like I needed to investigate it and That's what it was. A team has
- 9:13come back from three to zero to push it to a seven game series,
- 9:18and they see it did not win. So correct and Lebron James and the
- 9:22Cavs famously they were down three to one, but that means they had won
- 9:30one of the first three games and they were able to win the championship.
- 9:35So but the other night the MAVs got cold. Kyrie Irving is still something
- 9:41that Minnesota cannot solve. The Minnesota coach still hasn't corrected leaving Rudy Gobert out
- 9:48against guards. I don't know. I mean Rudy Gobert and a lot of
- 9:54people are getting on him for being the defensive player of the year. But
- 9:56Centers their defensive player of the year more from their disruption of you and players
- 10:03once they get around the rim, not their defense out by the three point
- 10:09line. So I don't know why people keep criticizing him because he's getting beat
- 10:15in an area he should get beat when they do the little pick and roll
- 10:18and he ends up having the guard someone like Luca Duncans at the three point
- 10:26line. Well, no, that's not my defense they're talking about. I'm
- 10:30defensive player of the year. Down in the paint when you come in here
- 10:33not out here. So everybody keep criticizing him, like, oh, you
- 10:35shouldn't have won the Defensive Player of the Year. I think Dallas is doing
- 10:39this on purpose. They're literally putting you in to make you have to be
- 10:45way out here. On me, every team would do that against Rudy Gobert,
- 10:48like we're trying to get yes when they are online listener Jared Lloyd,
- 10:58I lost on the oh yeah nine. He says, as some as someone
- 11:03who is missing work would say Cat is cappin and then he said he also
- 11:13said he was the best shooting big man. Shake my head, hashtag joker
- 11:16anyone. So you know, Okay, Cat was in the three point competition
- 11:22this year. He wonted. Didn't he last last year or the year before.
- 11:28I guess that's what he's going by the three point shot competition. Okay,
- 11:31yeah, but Cat and the Timberwolves and excuse me, r J.
- 11:35Twitter said that the was it. The Golden State Warriors came back from three
- 11:41to one. Cat, the Cavs came war against the against the Warriors came
- 11:46back. We'll be back more the Sports Shot Show right after this. Don't
- 12:09go away or of the Sports Jock Show, with Wayne Dantidius coming up next.

- 14:54The Jock of the Day is sponsored by Macress HEROESUSA dot com the sleep
- 14:58you deserve at a price you can no, no, no, no no.
- 15:01It's time to present the Jock of the Day on the Sports Jock Shows,
- 15:05taking it to a completely different level this year where we highlight an accolete
- 15:09that has taken their game to the next level. Let's go welcome back to
- 15:35this sport shock showing. This what Shock Wing getting. Good morning tell you
- 15:37as we end the month of May twenty twenty four. Uh, sports just
- 15:45so much. Sports is really really with the age of technology, it's overwhelming
- 15:50and you can see why the industry is just booming. Uh there's things going
- 15:56on that you can't even keep up. There's a NCAA softball going on,
- 16:04which I like to catch me some, but then the game comes on,
- 16:07and then there's some w NBA, and then there's some news about the baseball
- 16:12Championship for college, and then there's actual Major League baseball. It's not enough
- 16:18computer processing power to really put it in. It just really is just and
- 16:25now that it's so available, whether you have whether it's on the nine hundred
- 16:29espns or the four hundred Foxes, or you're paying for it, it's just
- 16:33so much sports. But a funny story here, because there was a time
- 16:40where it was one of the most common things to see that you could ever
- 16:44want. Even if you didn't want to see it, it was always in
- 16:48your face. You peel back time you roll it back two decades. You
- 16:55could go any corner at any moment and you could see people smoking cigarettes.
- 17:00Yeah, like it was just smoking cigarettes. Smoking cigarettes was like how people
- 17:07have their cell phone texting. It's no ever surprised. Excellent analogy is like
- 17:12that normal. It was that normal people just smoke cigarettes and restaurants and bars
- 17:18and office buildings, on planes everywhere. So in today's society it's not you
- 17:26really don't. You have to almost stumble upon smoking a lot of times,
- 17:32even if I'm at the airport and I walked by that smoke room, it
- 17:36always catches me off surprise because you just don't see consistently people and they're still
- 17:40smoking because cigarettes are still made right. They're still a great money maker.
- 17:45From what I hear and what I've seen, they're very expensive. Yeah,
- 17:49yes, get your smoke on. I quit smoking cigarettes like thirty years ago,
- 17:56and when I quit, I think they were like three bucks two sixty
- 18:00a pack, and I was this was name brand and I was complaining.
- 18:03And then fast forward a generation but that I was with a friend in New
- 18:08York and they were like, let me get a pack of cigarettes, and
- 18:11dudes like fifteen dollars and I was like, I thought, you just wanted
- 18:14one pack and they were like that he is one pack? You hit a
- 18:18car. I was like, you need to cut back, is what I
- 18:21was thinking, Like, that's too many cigarette. But that was for the
- 18:23one pack. I've seen people buy cigarettes here in Atlanta where they are like
- 18:27about seven bucks a pack, and when they hear seven bucks, they stock
- 18:32up like what chess seven dollars? Give me four packs? And that got
- 18:37to me is crazy. Charlie Hole, who is number eight ranked on the
- 18:41US women's side of the lp GA, lit her a cigarette after her round
- 18:52the other day and it just captured me that she was like signing autographs smoking
- 18:56a cigarette. Charles Charles that's that's Charlie Hall. Okay, yes, you
- 19:03know what I'm saying. That's it appropriate. Yeah, as she was.
- 19:07She is a English pro golfer. Her name is Charlie Hole and she was.
- 19:15That's what I'm saying. It's not like she's some unranked she's number eight,
- 19:18I'm saying. And you could have stopped in English. You could have
- 19:21stopped it English. We'd have got it. You can stop the English.
- 19:27Was English person because it's a female Charlie Hall and anything after that? What
- 19:33you know, sheer the sheep after a round of golf. Okay, we
- 19:38get it. And do you think like she caught people by surprise, like
- 19:42the kids, because I was thinking about the little kids. If they're seven,
- 19:47eight, ten, they might not know what that is. That is?
- 19:51Yeah, and here I believe it's forbidden to smoke around the fans,
- 19:56isn't it. I didn't know, That's what I was. I've never seen
- 20:02a professional athlete at an in or outdoor event in their own personal time smoke
- 20:10a cigarette, and and I'm sure some of them do, but they just
- 20:15think John Day might have used to. He was doing it. He was
- 20:18doing it for clickbait though, you know, he would. He would find
- 20:22the most group of whatever pool of photographers there was and then think it would
- 20:29be a great time for smoke. And so you know, no one can
- 20:33really count John Daily. So I was just checking it because it threw me,
- 20:37like, I've never seen someone like you're saying, Big Kenny still in
- 20:41the event, whether it's practice or a real something, whether it's a real
- 20:47game, real match, at any point you might catch them if they were
- 20:51in their car or somewhere like that, right, not instill in the venue.
- 20:56And she's straight got it, I mean blowing it in people's faces with
- 21:00the mechanic cigarette in the corner of your mind. The corner copyra is gonna
- 21:04be about that copyright is gonna be about three hours, so I can get
- 21:07that clean. Now, now you think she had them on her? What
- 21:11do you think there in the bag? At least she bumbed one from a
- 21:15kid getting an autograph. Hate kid, I'll sign your out. Let me
- 21:18get one of those smokes. Where the kid would have a vape pin.
- 21:21Yeah, So she had to have them somewhere, That's what I'm saying.
- 21:23With the new kid. The younger kid would have seen people vape, yeah,
- 21:29and they would see people if they smoke probably uh some kind of marijuana
- 21:33p yeah, yeah, a blond, but they might not know what a
- 21:37cigarette a cigarette? Like she really she went off, she tripped out,
- 21:42like at the golf court, because you know, golf is always supposed to
- 21:45be a little bit more cultur culture and classy. So for her to just
- 21:52show up kind of some it was going on out here in the golf game.
- 21:56Man John Daley is definitely defending it, though, I'm sure he's like,
- 22:00what's the big deal? Well, and she's doing it in a way,
- 22:03as we wrapped it. It's just doing it in a way like there
- 22:07must not be a rule, can't be against it. So because she's doing
- 22:12it, it's not like she has it behind her. It's not like it's
- 22:17in her hand behind her back and she's riding with the other hand, she's
- 22:22sitting there engaging your fans, smoking a cigarette. So Charlie hole, okay,
- 22:27in that you know Big Kenny used to smoke cigarettes. Yes, coman
- 22:32you quit cold turkey, Come on, coman you now. I spent a
- 22:37lot of time trying to get my mom to quit smoking. Okay, okay,
- 22:41what was her brand? Uh? I think it was a cool cool
- 22:48My mom's brand used to be cool Filter Kings and some decades ago she finally
- 22:52quit. Were you a camel Man? New Ports? New Ports? And
- 22:56what did you hate? Was there a cigarette brand you just disliked? H
- 23:02Marble Marble rais We'll be back? A sports show you know that, don't

- 26:34Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy, Big Kenny command you Greg
- 26:38in the building Major League Baseball, and I'm telling you that I'm watch games.
- 26:45Keep the pitch clock, that little bit of extra making people have to
- 26:49keep constantly things moving. I think that's what people got bored with that it
- 26:56was too much stagnation between pitches, like it just seems like and we're just
- 27:03talking about but the consistent motion seems to make the game move a little faster.
- 27:08Meant to go ahead. Well, other than like also with with the
- 27:14with the pitch clock, all the rules to others to make it move faster,
- 27:18Like if you bring in a relief picture, he's got to face three
- 27:21guys. You can't just have him face one guy and then bring in somebody
- 27:25else so to drag the game. The couple of moves they have made definitely
- 27:29has made the game move faster. I think people are enjoying that. Go
- 27:34ahead. I wanted to ask have we been able to quantify the retention of
- 27:41viewership or the increase in fan reach since the changes? Like were the stadiums
- 27:49half packed before the changes and now they're completely packed? That that kind of
- 27:53thing. What was it? You know, we were getting eighty five million
- 27:56viewers on TV and now we're getting nine three. I don't know about the
- 28:02TV, but I know there were more. There was more in attendance.
- 28:04Okay, the attendance definitely went up. Yeah, and I think that's just
- 28:07like we're saying that extra twenty thirty minutes that you can get me out here.
- 28:14Yeah, because baseball their schedule is just basically the week. Yes,
- 28:19so it's not like they're cutting out the week days. It's any day of
- 28:26the week. They play six days a week. Brave today at eleven,
- 28:27so I do have to go to work tomorrow. I actually missed work to
- 28:33day. But again, you know, hoping they don't pay over this way.
- 28:37But Major League Baseball has the side, and this has been a touchy
- 28:41subject. We've talked about this when they proposed it, but they have decided
- 28:48to incorporate the Negro League records into their baseball record books. On one ass
- 29:00me about this yesterday, I specifically told them I greatly appreciate Major League Baseball
- 29:08recognizing the Negro League. I do not particularly believe that it should be integrated.
- 29:22I just don't. And my stance on that is that if I am
- 29:30the all time leading rusher for the Falcons and the all time leading rusher for
- 29:41the Stillers decides to come play here his last two years, his yardage for
- 29:52the Steelers does not get to come to the Falcons. Whatever he runs for
- 29:59the Falcons noted, he doesn't, so unless he runs for to break my
- 30:03record as a Falcon, it doesn't count. The Negro League and Major League
- 30:11baseball were two different leagues, were they not? So how does your stats
- 30:17in a league that was not a part of my league jump me? If
- 30:23you can explain that to me in a way that I can grasp it,
- 30:27that's no knock on like of Josh Gibson, Josh Gipson. Throughout the heralds
- 30:33of time, people have always thrown that name out. But Josh Gibson,
- 30:38for the most part, played in the Negro League, correct, right,
- 30:42But now with this integration, integration it makes him number one, the number
- 30:48one and a lot of categories. But you would have been playing under different
- 30:53rules if we were not in the same league. So command, can he
- 30:59please win me over or why this makes sense for people who maybe have some
- 31:08kind of pride that they were able to accomplish something and now you're going to
- 31:15erase that accomplishment out. I can't make an argument to defend it. I
- 31:23can't make an argument to support it in that for me, first off,
- 31:30it seems as if there was some sort of this seems like some sort of
- 31:37admission of intentional guilt, like we made like it was our fault that segregation
- 31:45existed, and because there were two different leagues and that was out of our
- 31:49control back then. Now we feel obligated to make it right for history.
- 31:56I mean baseball and many of its players and executives, and a lot of
- 32:00those people only play in this current baseball era. They had nothing to do
- 32:06with that. All of those records stood now, as you said about the
- 32:09Steelers and the Falcons, if someone were to take something that was all Negro,
- 32:16like the Negro Baseball League and go no, they can't have those records
- 32:22because a baseball player from Major League Baseball did more, they would be very
- 32:29upset with that. People would be Josh Gipps know, Josh Gibson can't be
- 32:34number one because now that they're integrating the numbers, Ty Cobb becomes number one.
- 32:39People are only in favor of it because Josh Gibson will leap to number
- 32:45one, But if it was making him number four, they would have a
- 32:49problem. I can't really I can't really defend it either. Like I understand
- 32:55like wanting to recognize those players because and I heard someone say this to speak
- 33:02of early twentieth century baseball players, you only hear of white players being talked
- 33:08about, And so I understand bringing in the recognizing the Negro leagues to understand
- 33:15that there were there were players of other ethnicities that were playing, and it's
- 33:22great that those numbers were were kept, those records were kept, but to
- 33:28just combine everything, I think eventually it'll be how some of you will combine
- 33:35NBA and ABA statistics in the NFL, And that was my question, but
- 33:39it doesn't whatever the league is now. It's the NFL now, it's the
- 33:45NBA now, So that that's those are the records. So I think there
- 33:51will be there will always be that that asterisk that caveat saying that combine major
- 33:57league and Negro league records. This guy number one, but major league records,
- 34:02this other guy is number one. So I think that will just there
- 34:08will be that distinction being made going forward. And I was gonna ask what
- 34:12the ABA, and we, I guess we have to do a little research
- 34:16of that. Were players that played in the ABA allowed to bring their points
- 34:22over to the NBA as a record or even say baseball? If I play
- 34:29over in Japan, do those numbers follow me here? Do Canadian football numbers
- 34:36follow you back to the United States? It's anything official, because I mean
- 34:40Warren Moon would have like one hundred and fifty thousand yards or something if you
- 34:45combine his CFLs And again to my point that it seems like some sort of
- 34:49admission of guilt. Why it's Major League Baseball feeling the need to do this?
- 34:55Now, what do you think is the deciding factor, the motivating And
- 35:00that's the question I would love to ask, what is the I understand maybe
- 35:04you want to add that to the books, but I would still leave it
- 35:07under the heading of what the Negro league numbers were and just have to add
- 35:15extra pages. But I don't understand it was wrong, but it wasn't wrong
- 35:21for the time. That's how society worked in the nineteen twenties. Everything was
- 35:27still you can't walk on this side of the street kind of mentality. It
- 35:31wasn't like you was holding to a rule that wasn't societal in a way.
- 35:37And I love, as I said, I love this inclusion. I love
- 35:43weaving them into I just don't believe that you go and now Josh Gibson takes
- 35:51over something. And I say that because if you play somewhere, rules are
- 35:53different. So in Major League Baseball might have monitored their things more more better
- 36:01accounting of the stats. Now you know what's the walk, what's a what's
- 36:07a what's a home home run? Who counted stats is big and who's holding
- 36:13who's writing the stats is huge too. Now I want to ask this question,
- 36:17and you put this in my thought process sports shock when you brought up
- 36:23the Japanese Baseball League. Now that you've done it for the Negro leagues,
- 36:29we got Japanese players that have come from overseas and have come to the major
- 36:31leagues. You don't want to incorporate their numbers. You don't want to incorporate
- 36:36all that they did in the decades that they played in Japan before they came
- 36:38here, because why not. That would be racism. That would be racism
- 36:45to fix the Negro statistics and not the Asian. It would be racist to
- 36:52fix the Negro statistics and not any other demographic, the Cubans and the and
- 36:58all of those leagues. That's what I'm asking. Those people are hall of
- 37:00famers. Now do you know whether those records come over to Well, it's
- 37:06not anything official like some take someone like Eachiero, like, okay, we
- 37:10have his major league statistics, but from him playing in Japan, he will
- 37:15just combine them as to let's sum up his entire career, like wherever he
- 37:22played professionally, will combine all of that. But it's not any official record.
- 37:25And I'm saying now they're making it official for but this is official,
- 37:30right and this is official? Yeah, so yes, So that's what I'm
- 37:35saying. If they're going to efficiently do it for the negro leagues, they've
- 37:37got to officially open it up for baseball. And I remember, as we
- 37:42go to break, not the Sabone. I think it might be his dad,
- 37:47so I forget his first name, last name with Sabone. He played
- 37:51vet Arvida. He played for Portland, yes, or Arvetus when he came
- 37:55over. But he came over after about ten twelve years of playing over Europe.
- 38:00Right, but they didn't let his numbers follow him, right, No,
- 38:04I mean, but like I said, like they'll just like sum up
- 38:07use everything as far as like he's in the Hall of Fame. So they
- 38:10considered his entire career, yeah, because they do the they do the Nate
- 38:15Smith basketball, but that didn't john him the NBA Hall of Fame as far
- 38:20as his NBA stytics, that's that's just when he was in the NBA.

- 41:30it's lock on so so you can see a sports jaint. I'll sing even
- 41:45very candy, welcome back to the sport Shock Show. I'm the sports Shock
- 41:51Wing Candy. Even though it doesn't seem like it. We are sitting around
- 41:53two months away from the Olympics. Sorry, and they respectfully. It's one
- 42:00of those things when I was saying a couple of minutes ago, when sports
- 42:04is so big and you're able to tap into all the sports now, yes,
- 42:13that you forget things. It's just like the French Open is going on
- 42:17right now, right now, right and everything else is so huge you forget
- 42:23that the French Open until you see it. It's like, is that a
- 42:27live game or is that from last year? Like are they getting me warmed
- 42:30up? And then in the it's had the bottom left corner. You see
- 42:34the words a lot and then you go, oh man, this is and
- 42:37when did this? They didn't advertise it. I wanted to ask you something.
- 42:40Do you think a lot of leagues and not pointing any fingers, but
- 42:45leagues like the w NBA and others, uh, the UFL, stuff like
- 42:50that, struggle to gain some footage because people aren't willing to wait and see.
- 42:58I mean, we've got so many sports outlets that the pickleball network had
- 43:04a six percent increase, So if they want to watch it, they'll find
- 43:07it. You see what I'm saying. But they're not watching this, so
- 43:10that means nobody cares about it in the executive's mind, in the mind of
- 43:15the people who put this stuff on TV and put it in arenas, that
- 43:20means no one cares. Because if the pickleball something that didn't even exist ten
- 43:25years ago, network can have an increase, how is it that this league
- 43:30that's been around twenty years can't get a thirty five percent share on their night?
- 43:37So do you think that that harms some leagues having so much checks.
- 43:42I think all sports function from the idea that you like a sport, like
- 43:50your interest in the sport is the first thing that still takes you to that
- 43:54sport. Now, you watch other sports a lot of times because it might
- 43:59be it thing to do, but it's eventually you're going to go back to
- 44:05what your bread and butter is, right, So those things just have to
- 44:08be about starting to appeal to the new sports viewer. I don't know that
- 44:15you win the old. You still today have people who really only like college
- 44:21football. That's true. They're not interested in pro football now if you dress
- 44:28it up enough off wings. But if they have their dollar is still headed
- 44:35towards college football. They'll grill out at their house for college football and things
- 44:40like that. So I think if you're like the WNBA, your thing is
- 44:44to start trying to cast a net that this young seven year old okay in
- 44:52ten years sees us as something to view and not try to win over commandchie
- 44:57greg He said that he's not Okay. You know, it's like the three
- 45:01of us, none of us still have watched in the UFL. I defer
- 45:07you was at the barber shop and the TV. No. I was at
- 45:09the house. And I say it because we constantly say nobody watches it.
- 45:15I watched a minute and sixty two seconds, I think because I timed it
- 45:21and I got bive minutes, two minutes, two minutes, three seconds something
- 45:24like that. Now you know what, Okay, I understand why we always
- 45:30said nobody. And all it took me was a couple of minutes of watching
- 45:35like this is now, this is now good at all. So yeah,
- 45:38it's like a second rate. It still comes off like parody football. It's
- 45:45like y'all out here pretending. And for someone, as I'm saying, for
- 45:49something like, there's the NFL by the time I drink this cup of NFL,
- 45:53this cup of college football, and for somebody you call high school games
- 46:00this couple of high school football, I'm kind of fool, right, but
- 46:04I'm saying to value for about the highs depending on your region. Now we're
- 46:09here in the SEC and in Georgia. That that's thirty two ounces of high
- 46:14school football. You know. That's a big gulp cup of high school football
- 46:20that we get here, and then our college football is in six Yeah,
- 46:25we got the sixty four insulated cup of college football. If we only followed
- 46:31that, we would get full. We would get full. So really,
- 46:34I'm obese, I'm big, I have no room for UFA. I have
- 46:37a wide back at this point with football over in Paris. When I started
- 46:45this, it was all centered around I was reading the article they won't be
- 46:50serving French fries at the Olympic Games in the village, you know how they
- 46:55serve the players, say will be no French fries for the fifteen thousand athletes
- 47:01because it say it's too risky because of the fire hazard. I guess the
- 47:06oh, the deep, the deep friars, they're afraid of the Paris Paris,
- 47:09the deep friar in the Olympic village. Now I was going to ask
- 47:15have they done anything about the animal waste problem in Paris, because yes,
- 47:21Paris is notoriously known for people who don't pick up after their dogs. So
- 47:25you've got the whole world coming up. Oh, they don't have a doggye
- 47:29poop pool law? No, really no, And the French think that the
- 47:34French have normalized so the dog can just go on the cobblestones everywhere and they
- 47:38leave it, and they just yes. And in Paris it's almost like a
- 47:46game of Minecraft. I need to give him. I don't know my neighbor
- 47:52per Se, but I need to go over there and get his phone number
- 47:53because he has a little doggie poop service that comes by every Friday. I
- 47:59only know it because when I pull out the gate and I see the truck,
- 48:00I think, man, that's a job to go to a clean up
- 48:07their poop areas. Yeah, we usually just yeah, you have a No,
- 48:12we have a backyard, and we believe in biodegradable nature that you know
- 48:17that we've trained. I've trained. Uh. My dog's a small breed dog,
- 48:22so we have a large backyard. So beyond a certain point is where
- 48:29my dog goes to the bathroom, so it doesn't interfere with where we socialize
- 48:32in the backyard. And I honestly don't know if he goes because I never
- 48:37see it, I never smell it. It's just you know, it works
- 48:40out. This report is just for the Olympic Village. I guess other places
- 48:46you will be able to still get your fries. That just seems like because
- 48:52they build a lot of these Olympic village at least in the United States.
- 48:55Whenever we hosted something like the Olympics, everything we built brand new. I
- 49:00know in other countries they built it all new and y'all couldn't install, like
- 49:05install like breaker boxes. That would man. I guess they just couldn't keep
- 49:09get the contract with Alida. That's probably what it was. They keep they
- 49:15talking friars, but it was something like that. It was like, look
- 49:19and we'll be back to Sports Shock Show right after this. Don't go Awayne

- 50:47it's already ninety nine degrees in there. Let's not leave children in the backseat

- 52:01I put my money up now. I can't re run up in his
- 52:07spots just to get my stack up. Now I'm back on dead shouting what
- 52:12the food you want? You talking shoes? Shant what? Back to the
- 52:17sword Shock Shine and the sport Shock Wing. Can't it come morning to you
- 52:21out there and listening land Game five tonight between the MAVs and Timberwolves. Guys,
- 52:27why why can't we get some of these games a little earlier? Uh
- 52:30NBA like to put you to bed. Do the dude, They realized,
- 52:32like, by the time the game is done, it is bed. You
- 52:37you have to watch the fourth period in bed. If you wait to start
- 52:45your bed process after the game goes off, you won't fall asleep a one
- 52:51o'clock. I actually and in full trains because it takes you about forty five
- 52:57and I've taken a sleep study and most people, well it takes about forty
- 53:00five minutes to like fall asleep. Yes, unless you you know, if
- 53:07you're not on some something to put you to sleep, but just that natural
- 53:10get in the bed and your body finally falls asleep. The game starts at
- 53:15eight thirty, rarely over before eleven thirty. Right, if you're somewhere and
- 53:21you drove, yeah, yeah, and you got home. Now it's midnight,
- 53:25and which is and and it's interesting that if you're dirty and nasty,
- 53:30you didn't, babe, it didn't. Yeah, so took a shower.
- 53:34If you did take a shower, now that's another to ten twelve minutes.
- 53:37And then and then all the drying, put the towels, and that kind
- 53:40of wakes you up, you know, and then how you back up?
- 53:44Now you're sitting there watching an episode of whatever comes on at that time of
- 53:50night. And now I started. Now it's one fifteen, yeah, and
- 53:54which is why the playoff season, I haven't done much. Went out and
- 54:00having to come back, and I'll start to go in the bed process,
- 54:04like right about halftime, I'm gone and get you know, right, it's
- 54:07the second quarters, about in our shower and we're gonna Especially this past weekend,
- 54:13I would have thought on Saturdays and Sunday it would have been more like
- 54:15a six thirty. Come on, man, start come on where people can
- 54:20kind of hit it and still move after. But you put it at a
- 54:23time where movement is over. That's it. And this all these games.
- 54:30Once the fourth hit, I start bed preparation. It's it's midnight now.
- 54:36So the NBA is that's in the Hey you we we're the only league in
- 54:40town right now. You if you want to watch, you're gonna have to
- 54:45make a decision. Do you think when the viewership from the West coast is
- 54:50just so large that they don't feel the drop off or do you think that
- 54:54the TV being on and me being sleep still gets the rating. They don't
- 55:00care if I see the end of the game or not. They just care
- 55:02that the TV is on that channel. I think that in this particular case,
- 55:07it is the males versus the timberwolve. So we're in middle of America,
- 55:10right, yeah, the Central time zone. Yeah, these aren't two
- 55:15big, huge fan bases. Yeah, they're more regional. They very much
- 55:21are. I just thought that maybe an hour, and I'm talking about like
- 55:23an hour. I'm not talking about from eight thirty to three. I'm telling
- 55:29you to move it from eight thirty to seven point. General Hospital you can
- 55:35still do the soaps. They're what they're leaning on or kind of bending the
- 55:40rule is there is a rule that games cannot start later than eight thirty Eastern.
- 55:49So because they can't start later than that, I think they're going towards
- 55:52well, we're going to start that, We're gonna start as late as possible
- 55:57too. I think also to help the the West Coast audience, because that's
- 56:06that's five thirty there, so it's people getting off with it. So it's
- 56:08the advantage really more for the West Coast audience. And that's what I somehow
- 56:15we have appropriately enough. Maryhood just checking in from San Diego, one of
- 56:23our online listeners. See, I guess that's an endorsement for the eight o'clock
- 56:29start time, which is, as you said, what five thirty on the
- 56:32West coast and can you imagine trying to rush home to catch the But that
- 56:37is an old adage. I would like to see some research with this whole
- 56:42get home to me in this society today, what people want to watch and
- 56:46see, they're gonna watch and see, Yes, that old adage from the
- 56:52eighties and nineties where we got to do it so he can get home from
- 56:55his plumbing job. A plumber will quickly tell you they can't make it out.
- 57:01I have I had your hot water on by the morning. If you
- 57:05call them with two tickets to a game, let me let me call a
- 57:08play man. I got two tickets at the Math Minnesota game. And now
- 57:12he gonna come right down stairs, mister Kenned, I'm gonna have your hot
- 57:15water on by by late to tomorrow. Yeah, I gotta go get apart,
- 57:20and then late I see him in like what part you getting at State
- 57:22Farm Marina. I don't believe people are sacrificing like that anymore. If they
- 57:29want to see the game, they will see it. Someone who woke up
- 57:31happy today, I guess would be Scottie Scheffler. Uh. The charges have
- 57:36been dropped in this case that he was some kind of way, and I
- 57:42don't think everybody's happy. I think the arresting officer and the is standing on
- 57:49mister Scheffler committed a crime now because your sensibility say, it's you know,
- 57:57kind of how we are in this country. You know, like when my
- 58:00truck got broken into and the cop made it seem like what you want me
- 58:06to do, And I'm thinking, maybe find who broke into maybe your job.
- 58:12What you want me to do? Yo? What you would? I
- 58:15mean, you know I didn't. I didn't call Krispy Kreme about my truck
- 58:20being broken into. I call the police. That's what y'all do, right,
- 58:24If it's just that's how he made it seem like when he came you
- 58:30called us for auto right, I asked, I asked, have you noticed
- 58:36the level of indignance in service industry jobs? Like people really be mad about
- 58:42the fact that they at work. You know, it's like I'm bothering them
- 58:47because I came to the cash register to pay for this stuff. I mean,
- 58:51but this is what I'm supposed to do. Now in this case,
- 58:53do you know is are these charges dropped because the police were wrong or didn't
- 59:00have evidence, or it's just I just want this to go away? I
- 59:05think partially, I think it's mostly they wanted to go away. Part of
- 59:08it is also the officer didn't have his body cam on, so his version
- 59:15of events may have differed from what actually happened, and so it didn't have
- 59:22to escalate to and arrest. Possibly, so now you're only guilty of a
- 59:29crime that my body cam catches you, doesn't sound dangerous. That sounds they
- 59:36well, well, I think what we've moved into with law enforcement is the
- 59:43charges. Well, first of all, in the Scottie Scheffler situation, the
- 59:46rules that govern the county they were in is that the officers always have to
- 59:52have their body cams on, and when they don't, they have to fill
- 59:55out a body cam wasn't on form that day. This officer didn't do any
- 1:00:00of those things. And so we're to the point that if you didn't the
- 1:00:07technicality of the body camera, yeah, lets me commit a crime and get
- 1:00:13away. Yeah, dangerous. Don't be mad, Tito, No be mad
- 1:00:20when it's on your foot, though, I'm saying that got away with the
- 1:00:22crime that on you. That's that's and on some technicality where I thought we
- 1:00:28hired the police officer to do the job and trusted them to do the job
- 1:00:34that they were the video camera was just an add on. Yeah, it
- 1:00:37was supposed to be like, Okay, he's jaywalking, but you tried to
- 1:00:40turn it into drug possession. We'll be back with more to Sports Jock Show

- 1:04:26Apple Podcasts, Deezer, Spotify, auto Board, iHeart Radio and listen to
- 1:04:32the replay. In that first hour, we talked about the Minnesota MAVs game,
- 1:04:39which is the night game five do a dive for the Timberwolves. We
- 1:04:44threw talked about Bill Walton, great Bill Walton on the court and in the
- 1:04:48broadcast booth. The seventy one passing away able to also talk about the charges
- 1:04:55drop for Scottie Scheffler. And Major League Baseball has decided to integrate the Negro
- 1:05:01league stats, and a lot of people stand on that. It is going
- 1:05:06to change a lot of people's status of what they're considered. Now the word
- 1:05:13is out, so people you would have to tell people that Barry Bonds is
- 1:05:17not the number one in this category. I don't know if they will instantly
- 1:05:24know or bay Ruth no longer have, or Ty Cobb or Willie Mays or
- 1:05:28any of the great ones, because now with the integration, people will get
- 1:05:30pushed back on the list in certain categories. I want to send a big
- 1:05:35war eagle out to the Auburn golf team who was able to hold off Florida
- 1:05:43State yesterday and when the NCAA golf title. So big war eagle to my
- 1:05:50Auburn Tigers down there, overachievers, I've heard of us winning. I'm just
- 1:05:59saying, yeah, exactly, y'all don't have football titles. Y'all good at
- 1:06:03basketball and got a solid baseball team, and now the golf guys got one
- 1:06:10small victories. Don't be mad, don't be mad. It's the law small
- 1:06:15victories. Auburn winning their first n C double a men's golf title, so
- 1:06:21big war ego to my college team, Gabby Douglas. We were talking about
- 1:06:28French fries other Gabby Douglas trying to make a comeback, and it is a
- 1:06:34comeback. When you talk about gymnastics and her age typically late twenties, you're
- 1:06:45the coach of the gymnastics team. You know your heyday, you're the coach
- 1:06:49by age twenties the og and that's how people refer to you in the gym,
- 1:06:57like, oh, look here comes right here comes Mama Douglas. Comes
- 1:07:03be come Mama Douglas. She a whole twenty year back in her day,
- 1:07:08back in her day, right like thirty six months ago, right when she
- 1:07:11was when she was young. But she is citing she suffered an ankle injury
- 1:07:19and in her training and that has derailed her ability to move forward and try
- 1:07:26to make this Olympic team. But Gabby Douglas, and she is what twenty
- 1:07:30I'm not making that up? Is it? No? No, No,
- 1:07:33she's in her twenties. She what is this saying she will be thirty?
- 1:07:39Is it said thirty two? It says thirty two. No, she'll be
- 1:07:46twenty. She's twenty eight. Twenty eight, Oh, okay, I had
- 1:07:49it right first. Twenty might be actually thirty two. She's just doing now.
- 1:07:55This is this is something that I find interesting when it comes to a
- 1:08:00Gabby Douglas making her comeback when obviously she's passed what they would consider the prime
- 1:08:05age for a gymnast. When athletes that play football or other athletes are out
- 1:08:16for a while and try and come back, people start talking about what's going
- 1:08:21on inside their head. Maybe they need some they're having trouble struggling getting away
- 1:08:28from the game, like they can't just have passion for wanting to play.
- 1:08:31And Gabby has withdrawn from her third national competition. But we never hear that
- 1:08:40about the female athletes, that they are struggling to walk away from the sport
- 1:08:45or that they're having a hard time finding a pathway forward. But the moment
- 1:08:49a guy thinks, you know, I got a little bit left in the
- 1:08:53tank, everybody start, oh, man, I hope we don't see a
- 1:08:56junior say you know that kind of thing, and they we just never hear
- 1:09:00that in this situation. Well, I think that in Gabby's case. Sometimes
- 1:09:09you just get that feeling, like the body it feels good today today,
- 1:09:15you think you can really it'll work for you if I can just get this
- 1:09:19feeling I have today to manifest for a couple of weeks, but it was
- 1:09:25just today. But that's what you learned that I really felt good Thursday.
- 1:09:31I was prime Thursday. But for Saturday morning my day. Until you go
- 1:09:38through those workouts and you keep landing on that ankle and it just will not
- 1:09:43because you do get you do as an athlete. You do see people.
- 1:09:47I can watch a football game and it's terrible blocking, Like what are y'all
- 1:09:55doing? So you're just not going to block this guy And it's like,
- 1:09:59for in that moment, I can put the cliques back on. I caught
- 1:10:02him coming off that edge. And then you go to pick up your Yetti
- 1:10:09has an issue with your your del toy flex and it reminds you now to
- 1:10:15reach over your head. It's just in your head, that's all it is.
- 1:10:18Just mentally you're there. Yes, it's just like I hope we there,
- 1:10:26No, we there, we there. I'm sure we're there. Yeah,
- 1:10:30we're there. I think so with Gabby uh and I don't know the
- 1:10:33status of our Olympic team at the moment, it could have been weakened that
- 1:10:39particular apparatus. What are they call floor exercise? Yeah, she was on
- 1:10:45the uneven bars, right, whatever, It could have been a weak group
- 1:10:48for that particular you know, it didn't necessarily be one of them things that
- 1:10:54she was trying to go for some kind of all around like some own boles
- 1:10:57are still at the top of her game. It probably was whatever she was
- 1:11:00the best at when she was on top that she felt like, there's only
- 1:11:04like two people. Can I can get those two people? Yeah, I
- 1:11:08get them and go over to Paris. And it's lucrative time to be in
- 1:11:13sports, whether you win or not. If you can make the Olympic team.
- 1:11:16That's probably some kind of weedy box to deal with Adidas. She is
- 1:11:21aiming she even though she's not competing, she's aiming to compete in twenty twenty
- 1:11:26eight. Okay, well you gotta have goals. Okay, that's why I
- 1:11:30said, I guess I was reading the thirty two. Yeah, twenty twenty
- 1:11:34eight, she'll be thirty two, which in that Olympics in La right,
- 1:11:38yes, oh yeah. And the more the words of d everybody got to
- 1:11:43have a dred. If you wanted to make an Olympics for as a US
- 1:11:47participant, go that's the one you want to me. I think I'm gonna
- 1:11:50try out. I'm saying I'm gona try for La breakdancing or something. I'm
- 1:11:57sure they you're not. I could just come in and tick move. Yeah,
- 1:12:00I'm so Gabby Douglas won't be able to participate in the No French fry,
- 1:12:09I don't understand that it's France, y'all, like are supposed to be
- 1:12:14responsible for the French fry. They they'll just be going to McDonald's. Man,
- 1:12:18they they'll find them. And I'm sure it had something to do with
- 1:12:21that. No, don't sell them fries in the Olympic village. What do
- 1:12:25they call French fries? What's the name of them in Paris? Uh?
- 1:12:30You got it on the I know in in the Netherlands. It's because pulp
- 1:12:35fiction says a royale with cheese with cheese, right, And that's what John
- 1:12:41Travolta say. They called them whatever the lorial with chi. What are French
- 1:12:47fries called over there? Uh? Palm ded tests, petty free tests,
- 1:12:56petty fee tests, or as we say here in the good old US as
- 1:13:02USA fries so no palm did tests over in pat ree? Uh big Kenny
- 1:13:15Brownie James has decided that he will stay eligible for the NBA Draft. He
- 1:13:26will not go back. I get that statement is closing the book on him
- 1:13:32being able to return to college. Right, he had a I think the
- 1:13:40deadline was yesterday if players were going to stay in the draft and return to
- 1:13:45school. So the deadline was yesterday. Now, now, I'm not doubting
- 1:13:55he has the ambition and he's got a great deal of talent. But do
- 1:14:00you think that it's possible that we could see some overt nepotism in this situation
- 1:14:10where Bronnie James might not be seen as highly touted as others would hope,
- 1:14:16and his father whispers in someone's ear and he get picked when people know we
- 1:14:23know this is all the lebron effect, It's almost like we're expecting that to
- 1:14:29happen with Bronnie James. I think you can take him from the report I
- 1:14:32read. He started the combine in of NBA combined around like ninety five ninety
- 1:14:42six ranked. By the end of it, he's somewhere in the mid fifties
- 1:14:47as far as ranked. I think that allows a team to be able to
- 1:14:53draft him in the second round, second round, now and again without having
- 1:14:58to come under scrutiny of answering that question. Now, second round, I
- 1:15:04wouldn't have a question, you know what I'm saying. I don't think do
- 1:15:09you think we'll see it first round? I don't think you can drift someone
- 1:15:15ranked that high, that late, that in the top thirty. What do
- 1:15:21you think what we'll talk about on the other side of the break of Ronnie
- 1:15:26James declaring for the NBA uh and deciding that that's where he's gonna keep trying
- 1:15:30to get into the NBA. We'll be back right after this. Can I

- 1:18:30nine years old. Actor Brian Cox, not the football player, but Brian

- 1:18:39he plays a dad in Secession. But he's been around and a lot of
- 1:18:44movies, a lot of TV shows. A true working actor at seventy eight
- 1:18:49years old. Alana's Morrissett is the Big five zero. Amy Schumer is forty
- 1:18:57three. I really there's two huge comedians that I still don't their comedic it
- 1:19:02still misses me and Amy Schumer one of them. Is one of them.
- 1:19:05Who's the other, Kevin Hart? Yeah, it misses me. Just hadn't
- 1:19:12seen it yet, right, And that doesn't mean like I always that's statement.
- 1:19:15It's not that it ain't there. Just haven't They make a lot of

- 1:19:29have a certain kind of humor that that hits us different. That don't mean
- 1:19:32that they've never told a joke that you didn't laugh at, but it just
- 1:19:35didn't, you know, I don't get it like that. So Amy Schumer
- 1:19:41is one of them. She's forty three years old, very successful, can
- 1:19:44do anything she wants in the movie and comedy realm So forty three. Tom
- 1:19:48Holland Spider Man is twenty eight years old. Cee Lo Green is forty nine.
- 1:19:56Harrison barn Harrison Barnes, NBA player. He has that when we were
- 1:20:00talking about he was someone that gave me more Michael Jordan about his style.
- 1:20:09Harrison Barnes. He's been in the league now, got to be about twelve
- 1:20:11thirteen years. He's in the same draft with Anthony Davis. Yeah, he
- 1:20:15played at Golden State, playing in Dallas, I think a couple of years,
- 1:20:18right, Yeah, but he's still in the Kings now. And I'm
- 1:20:23not talking about he's not played in the realm of Michael Jordan. But I'm
- 1:20:26saying the kind of body built, like his movements you thought he was going
- 1:20:30to be. Remember they were talking about ant man being and I was like,
- 1:20:32I seen more of his Dwayne Wade. I thought Harrison Barnes had that
- 1:20:36little Michael Jordan thing, isn't. Yeah, so maybe that could have been
- 1:20:43it as well. He's thirty two. Billy Donovan, the head coach,
- 1:20:46is fifty nine. PJ. Collissimo is seventy five. Morgan Freeman two hundred
- 1:20:55seventy three years old, close eighty seven years of age. Heidi Klum is

- 1:21:09Hatchett, Hatchet. I'm waiting on. I'm waiting on. She's seventy three
- 1:21:14years old. Judge had objection. I've never seen it. I'm quite sure
- 1:21:19my mom she loves that objection. The clockge around. She's seventy three years
- 1:21:27old. Who else do we have here? Dave Roberts, the manager of
- 1:21:30the Dodger's fifty two. Joe Namath is eighty one. Nate Robinson, former
- 1:21:36NBA baller who has been sick here lately. He's forty. He needs a

- 1:22:15In the legend, I mean countless movies, countless director movies. Might be
- 1:22:25the oldest Hollywood star alive. Clint Eastwood. Can you think of someone bigger
- 1:22:32than Clint Eastwood. It's still allive. He's ninety four and not only a
- 1:22:38love Clint Eastwood, but relevant in Hollywood. Now got a movie coming out
- 1:22:42in twenty twenty five that he's directing, but he executive produced, and he's
- 1:22:47starring in this movie. And that's Clint east Now there's no one wom now
- 1:23:00we're talking about. That's way back when that was up for an Academy Award
- 1:23:03for sound, right, when I had to be in the house or the
- 1:23:08lights came on and he was doing it. Then he was dirty, right,
- 1:23:12And now I'm screaming at my kids, you better be in this house
- 1:23:15for the lights come on. And Clint Eastfood still making movies. Ninety have
- 1:23:19another movie coming out. I told you, oh, doesn't it You thought
- 1:23:21I was? It just wrapped? It said, it just wrapped in April
- 1:23:26twenty twenty four. So I told you, yeah, four years old,
- 1:23:30stay working. To the point, I wasn't even gonna ask you was your
- 1:23:33favorite movie. It's so many you'd have to have to think about it,
- 1:23:36you would, you would. Man been making movie since the forties, and
- 1:23:40he's made all kinds, every genre, suspense, he's made romance movies,
- 1:23:45he's made comedies of course, the action. Make my day, go ahead,
- 1:23:53bunk, make my day. About that. Clint Eastwood still making movies.
- 1:24:01You got a six shoes. Please, if you get a chance,
- 1:24:04find me a bigger Hollywood star that's still alive. He's ninety four years old.
- 1:24:13How old is Jack Nicholson, maybe about eighty five eighty six, not
- 1:24:16even close to Clinton. Maybe Robert Redford, what is he ninety? I
- 1:24:24don't know. I mean Clint East would call them all young fella, Hey,
- 1:24:28young fella. How you doingd is eighty seven. I think only Kirk
- 1:24:32Douglas and Father Time are older than Clinty's. Kirk Douglas passed last see so
- 1:24:39so he he ain't clocking there. We'll be back, but more than Sports
- 1:24:45Jock Show ninety four, Clint easfood. Clint hasn't shot every kind of movie.
- 1:24:48Yes that you can. I can imagine we'll be back right after this.

- 1:27:53morning. Welcome back to the sport Shock Shop. Up the Sport Shock Wayne
- 1:27:58can Good morning till you once again, just to put that Clint Eastward thing
- 1:28:02in your mind and maybe a click on to one of his movies today,
- 1:28:10Just some titles that you know, some of you might just real quickly from
- 1:28:15The Mule fifteen seventeen, The Paris American Sniper, Unforgiving, Who, Sudden
- 1:28:25Impact, the Pale Rider Who. Yeah, right away, what I'm saying,
- 1:28:30all of those movies that you're naming are like, man, I forgot
- 1:28:33about Some of those are just some of the classics, the good, the
- 1:28:39bad, and the ugly, just all kinds of movies. As Big Kenny
- 1:28:43was alluding to it, that is not a joke. We're talking about,
- 1:28:46especially that second half of his career where he was directing, producing, and
- 1:28:51starring in these movies. Yeah, and not just and not just for producing
- 1:28:59content. These are Oscar nominated, Oscar winning movies. Father Flags for our
- 1:29:03father. He was just all kinds of Edgar JEdgar Hoover, a million dollar
- 1:29:14baby. I kind of teared up, y'all. Stop acting like y'all that
- 1:29:18was no impactful scene. Stop. I can only watch it once. That's
- 1:29:24what I'm trying to tell you. Don't stop acting like y'all. Kenny,
- 1:29:27you you you was holding Oh no, you want to push it on your
- 1:29:30jod I don't know. You just went on leave the room. Yeah,
- 1:29:43he sucked me in with that one. I wasn't expecting. I wasn't expecting
- 1:29:45that ending, and he suckered me and had me in there, kind of
- 1:29:48had me buying into the character. And then you're gonna do that to a
- 1:29:51Clint. I tell you what, kid unforgiving when he told Gene hacked,
- 1:29:57he was gonna kill everybody in there putting it in that Morgan Freeman. When
- 1:30:00I bring him back, y'all better give my friend a good bary. Mike
- 1:30:06Tyson had an in flight medical emergency. The other day. We talked about
- 1:30:12Mike being fifty eight when he goes into this match in July against Jake Paul,
- 1:30:16does this? I mean, come on, you don't want to just
- 1:30:20get out of it and say you got nauseous and passed out on the plane.
- 1:30:24Yeah, but we've all done that, haven't we. We've all got
- 1:30:28nauseous and passed out on the plane. Am I right? Am I right?
- 1:30:30No? Come on, man, one time All Star weekend in Dallas,
- 1:30:36what does that have to do? You know, I'm saying that's when
- 1:30:39it happened to me. All Star Weekend in Dallas for a show, partied
- 1:30:45a little too hard. Somebody said the next morning, man, you ought
- 1:30:47to eat. So that's not a good thing. You want to hear though
- 1:30:49before your match with your match a box of fifty eight year old man and
- 1:30:54I didn't have to land and fight anybody. I just have to go home.
- 1:30:58But he said he's doing better now, he said, he said he
- 1:31:01was feeling one hundred percent, even though I don't need to be to beat
- 1:31:04Jake Paul escape from al I forgot about that with Clint Eastwood. Yeah,
- 1:31:12there's a lot of them if you go through the list. Bronnie James we
- 1:31:14were talking about that has said that he is basically staying in the NBA Draft,
- 1:31:18giving up his college eligibility. It'd be interesting to see how all this
- 1:31:24payment play affects that. As I was speaking on Monday show, does that
- 1:31:29even exist anymore? If I'm getting paid, I guess I can try for
- 1:31:33the league. Yeah, how are you going to as long as you extend
- 1:31:38me a content track? Yeah, just come back to that league, right
- 1:31:42yeah? Yeah. So because people have left companies and gone back to those
- 1:31:46companies, I guess that's kind of moved that out of the way. But
- 1:31:49Bronnie James, as I said, he was more of around in the nineties
- 1:31:55before the Chicago NBA where they had the little come over. The last month,
- 1:32:01he's moved himself up into the fifties from what the report says. And
- 1:32:06the draft is here in about three four weeks the end of June. So
- 1:32:15what will a team do? I think from talking to what we talked about
- 1:32:19a little earlier, everybody is cool with him being a second round pick because
- 1:32:26there's what thirty there's thirty team, thirty teams, thirty teams, and if
- 1:32:30he's number fifty, that'd be hard to say we picked him. He's ranked
- 1:32:35fifty fourth or something in the draft. In the rank, there's twenty something
- 1:32:39dudes you could have gotten, but their reports that there are only two teams
- 1:32:43he's going to work out for like ten twelve teams contacted him about doing a
- 1:32:46private workout. He canceled all of them, but for two teams. ME
- 1:32:50guess the Lakers and the Lakers and the Suns and the Suns Okay and the
- 1:32:59Sons. I believe have the twenty second pick. The Lakers I think are
- 1:33:03at seventeen or somewhere around there, which would be now at seventeen's cry,
- 1:33:12that's a public, disastrous pitchforks, torches, villagers, storming the castle.
- 1:33:23Riot. There's no way I could see him at seventeen. But also with
- 1:33:27the you're talking about, like the he's where he's ranked, it would be
- 1:33:30a second round pick. A lot of those guys get the two way contracts.
- 1:33:33Rich Paul is his agent. It was also Lebron's agent. Of course,
- 1:33:38he says he's not doing a two way contract. He's not going to
- 1:33:41the G league at all. It's he's going to be on an NBA roster
- 1:33:45or we're not signing anything. So they are controlling this as much as they
- 1:33:51possibly can. So him going in the first round at all doesn't seem impossible.
- 1:33:58Well, if you have a first round pick and you or GM would
- 1:34:02you draft? No Big Kenny would you draft? And that's me either now
- 1:34:10if he's still around in the second round, to create some buzz and all
- 1:34:15that that comes with it, because you need you need a little that no
- 1:34:18matter how good a team you are, it's okay to bring a little bus,
- 1:34:23little buzz to your team. Right, it's still entertained, there's still
- 1:34:27the angle of there's still the angle of like Lebron will sign wherever. Whoever
- 1:34:31drafts Bronnie, Lebron will sign there, So there's still that angle. So
- 1:34:35I think that's why it went to Phoenix because I still wouldn't draft Bronni,
- 1:34:43not just to get Lebron. I I joked with people like, oh,
- 1:34:46the Hawks should draft Bronni number one if you want to get Lebron and bring
- 1:34:50people to the games. And some people really thought that was a serious idea.
- 1:34:55But I guess it's it's not impossible that a team will do that hoping
- 1:35:00they'll get Lebron. And I just think that, in my opinion, that
- 1:35:06in this era of players making prop bets on themselves and load management and all
- 1:35:17of that, a lot of credibility with the sport is already been lost to
- 1:35:23do something like that. It was something that is obviously just a pr move
- 1:35:30I think would further disappoint fans of the game, like, come on,
- 1:35:33man, y'all, just why why why not believe it's casting it? You
- 1:35:40see what I'm saying. And that's why I was saying I could take them
- 1:35:42in the second and then we don't have to go through all this losing the
- 1:35:45integrity right of the game. If I draft them in the first round,
- 1:35:49then all that comes under question for me as a general manager and an ownership
- 1:35:56of how serious are you really about winning? Right? And I don't ever
- 1:35:59want you to question my seriousness about winning. Yes, that's as an owner,
- 1:36:03I don't ever want you to think that. Now. I gotta do
- 1:36:05some things to make sure we you know, yeah, we gotta, but
- 1:36:11I never want you to think we're not making a move to win first.
- 1:36:15The other part is second. So that's why I said second round, I
- 1:36:18could grab him. China is banning wealth flaunting behavior on social media. Did
- 1:36:27y'all see the story? They are saying that on there on your account?
- 1:36:31If you're in China, you can't be flaunting your wealth like you can't be
- 1:36:38basically America. So you can't be American on social media, can't be showing
- 1:36:44people your cars and your houses and your and your your wealth comanchee And as
- 1:36:48Americans would ask, then what's the point of being what we would ask,
- 1:36:54I'm saying, if you can't see the new whip and the bag, well
- 1:37:01does it really exist? You have to be communicating about what's going on in
- 1:37:06the world. And you know what's going on in the world climate right,
- 1:37:11this guy, you know what's causing climate change? This Feat twelve when out
- 1:37:17and pull up on you and spin in the block and then throw a stack.
- 1:37:24All you can do is you got to talk about climate change, but
- 1:37:27have that whip in the background. Let me tell y'all something just climate change
- 1:37:32coming from not having a lot of trees. And you know why we ain't
- 1:37:35got no tree because they cutting them down to make all their money. What
- 1:37:40what you see the rights? You see the racks, jeery, I draped
- 1:37:44out all over my neck. I'm eating chicken thighs, a lemon pepper chicken
- 1:37:50thigh. Bro Ever know what I'm saying, Yo, y'all can't even see
- 1:37:54me. All my haters, I'm just drinking, bro I'm pulling up.
- 1:37:57Y'all don't know what it is saying this law in America crash. They would
- 1:38:03have to take it down. They would just take get rid of the whole
- 1:38:08percy, take it down, take it all down. If I can't get
- 1:38:12on here like Floyd and show you seventy five million dollars worth of pinky rings,
- 1:38:18I'm talking about. This ain't even my whole jury collection. That's just
- 1:38:21my pinky rings. I got four fifty here, I got six fifty right
- 1:38:25there my teeth. They're trying to sing, No, that's that's that's illegal.
- 1:38:30We're coming to arrest you. Oh well, all of America would be
- 1:38:32locked up if you show any of your wealth on social media. You gotta
- 1:38:38try that, America. Come on, let is this get That's how I
- 1:38:42got my following. As we say every time, that's why you should stand
- 1:38:45when they say stand for the flag, hand for the flag. Just standing
- 1:38:47up. You ain't gotta sing it, you ain't gotta put your hand over
- 1:38:50your heart. Just start with the part of standing up this America. Stand

- 1:42:19say you can see the sports jaint. I'll sing even Jenny, Welcome back
- 1:42:27to this wy Shock, Shine, this wy shock Wayne again. The former
- 1:42:32NBA point guard Isaiah Thomas, the younger Isaiah Thomas. Not to be confused
- 1:42:39with the older Isaiah Thomas. They're not related as far as I know.
- 1:42:43Uh So, I'm not talking about the bad boy Isaiah Thomas, Zeke,
- 1:42:46I'm talking about the youngster Isaiah Thomas played for the Celtics and the Sons in
- 1:42:51his career. Uh says that recently over the weekend, the two time All
- 1:42:59Star says that he had a terrifying experience where him and some friends came face
- 1:43:05to face with a young kid who pulled what he identifies as an ak forty
- 1:43:12seven on them out in his hometown. I think that's the part. He's
- 1:43:16from Tacoma, Washington, and reading the article, it seems more than the
- 1:43:23gun being pulled that hurts him is that it was in his hometown. You
- 1:43:30know me, I'm Tacoma's favorite son. You know me, bro, And
- 1:43:39matter of fact, that's why you pulled up on me like that, because
- 1:43:41you knew who it was. Yeah, he's He explained that he feels like
- 1:43:47that part that you just mentioned is mustar kind of came over the young man
- 1:43:55after he realized who he was pulling the gun on. What made him not
- 1:44:00pull the gun or continue with the crime. That because we do know one
- 1:44:04thing, whether we like it or not, in this country, there's certain
- 1:44:09crimes, and there's certain people you commit crimes for against they're gonna come see
- 1:44:14you quickly. There's some sometime. This guy might take a couple of months,
- 1:44:21this woman would be twelve hours. And it's just how it really works
- 1:44:27in this country. So Tacoma was gonna find Youma was gonna come f You
- 1:44:31aren't gonna be able to go home because Mama, like Isaiah Thomas, Oh
- 1:44:34you can't. So you ain't gonna be to come home and hear about our
- 1:44:38time, you know, and you don't get no credit for it in the
- 1:44:42streets everybody like, I know you didn't rob Isaiah Thomas. I didn't know
- 1:44:48who it was at first. That don't make no difference. Now you got
- 1:44:54to take it all back to You're gonna take all this stuff back to it.
- 1:44:58And it's a it's a frightening thing having gun pull I've experienced that,
- 1:45:01and it's something that makes a statement, it makes an imprint for however it
- 1:45:06turns out, even in this case when it things go your way and nobody
- 1:45:13was injured, it's still somebody to put a gun because we all been shot
- 1:45:17at am? I right? Am? I right? No, I've never
- 1:45:20been never went that far with it. But you had a gun pulled them,
- 1:45:25yes, so you're close. It's close. It's one feeling to have
- 1:45:29the gun pulled, but to have the gun pulled and shot, it's two
- 1:45:31different. I would imagine it's a different level. It takes things up.
- 1:45:36Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I can't even get to that one.
- 1:45:39I just had the feeling of it on me, so I can't imagine if
- 1:45:43you hear it go off, even if the person was just playing around.
- 1:45:45Now that wasn't playing then, you know. So, But Isaiah Thomas says
- 1:45:50he's really hurt. And I'm quite sure as I said, it seems to
- 1:45:55be a lot of it is because it's always like that with with certain things.
- 1:46:00Yeah, where it's where it might happen or who's doing it. It
- 1:46:04is an effective It is one thing for your best friend to pull a gun
- 1:46:09on you versus some stranger. You know it. It's going to have two
- 1:46:15different realities after the fact is over. And we've all had a friend pull
- 1:46:18a gun on them a right, not a friend. Not a friend.
- 1:46:25We're not phrase no more. We're not no more, you know what I'm
- 1:46:29saying. Like we was cool up until then. Yeah, everything was everything
- 1:46:33was tea, cakes and cought. Yeah, everything was fine and then when
- 1:46:39the when the steel got flashed. I don't want to be in this relationship.
- 1:46:45It can quickly change things up, Yes, I imagine it can.
- 1:46:49Uh. Former Jaguar kicker Brandon McManus accused of sexual assault. UH. The
- 1:46:58Jags played over in London last year, and two flight attendants are claiming that
- 1:47:02McManus uh basically felt them up one of them says that he grinded on her.
- 1:47:15Hey, I'm just bringing you the case on the flight over to London,
- 1:47:19got a little close. So they're charging and they're they're they're filing charges
- 1:47:25against the jack which always laugh. Remember now the Jaguars are responsible for right,
- 1:47:35because because they knew he was going to be back there and he did
- 1:47:41that. Took two different flight attendants on the same flight. Yes, okay,
- 1:47:45from what they're saying, that's their elegance because we've all been inappropriate with
- 1:47:49a flight attendant a right, All right, Come on, man, it's
- 1:47:54a long eight hour flight. Sit down and watch a movie. Oh,
- 1:47:59come on, and for three and a half hours. Wis I got a
- 1:48:01great Clint Eastwood collection, I'm saying, but I got no. I got

- 1:48:32London. Yeah, they do speak English. So I tell you what not
- 1:48:40to use as a defense, the language barrier. Don't say that when they
- 1:48:45pull you aside. The customers don't use language barrier. Oh and they did.
- 1:48:49After sixteen years, they were able to find and convict the bad breath
- 1:48:56rapists. Sixteen years of having to chase him down over the years. One
- 1:49:03of the identifying qualities of some of the people he raped was that he had

- 1:51:55And now back to the sports child, Wayne Gamy, It's time for the
- 1:52:01school board. When we put a spin on light and sports and how they
- 1:52:06intermingled on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, See you trying child,
- 1:52:25forget you, mister charge in my fucker. It was I'm like forget you
- 1:52:33and can't hunt. You said, wait about this one shock show. I'm
- 1:52:38this one shock Wayne Gandy. That wasn't a version he did at the Hawks
- 1:52:42half time. He didn't say anything about no, forget you. He didn't
- 1:52:46do that. No he did. But we've all said that order that the
- 1:52:51Hawks game, right am? I right? He did the original version at
- 1:52:58the halftime. Made everybody ears perk up that night was see low Green at
- 1:53:03the halftime. And the Hawks never explained that, did they. Hey,
- 1:53:08they just let it go. It's just something you just kind of like Andre
- 1:53:11three thousand down at the park though day playing his flute. Did y'all hear
- 1:53:15anything about that? He was? He was he did a flute concert,
- 1:53:18like, well, I mean, we've all done a flute concert, even
- 1:53:26I haven't done that. I thought I was doing a flute concert pete my
- 1:53:30park. Turns out I was just in my backyard with a stick. But
- 1:53:33it was a long day. Snoop Dogg and his wife they are opening up
- 1:53:38a l A strip joint out in l A. I don't have a I
- 1:53:44guess that mother. Y'all think they're gonna do the dog Pound. What's the
- 1:53:45name, what's the name they gonna Snoop dog strip joint? Well, his
- 1:53:50wife is opening up the strip. Oh, boss ladies, that's what he
- 1:53:56calls her, boss boss ladies. Man that's that's not a bad name for
- 1:54:00it. I don't know that fifty. You just think your age out of
- 1:54:03stuff. Like if you were gonna have a thought, they would have done
- 1:54:09that back back in his donkey style because they've been married the entire time.
- 1:54:13You thought that was a late ninety thirty two thousand venture. You think granddad
- 1:54:17Snoop? What your granddad Martha Stewart hanging out with Snoop? And then his
- 1:54:24family would open up this late in life. It's like picking up smoking.
- 1:54:29People don't usually pick up smoking in their fifties, do they. They don't.
- 1:54:32No, they just don't pick up dad or drug trafficking. So they
- 1:54:38stopped Boss Ladies. I don't know if that's the real name. No,
- 1:54:43I don't know that would be that. I know that's Snoop's pet name for
- 1:54:46his wife, Boss bass Lady. Okay, And I'm quite sure he might
- 1:54:49use that two of this vantage and make a song knowing Snoop. Michigan judge
- 1:54:56astonished on how a man who was calling in for virtual hearing for driving with
- 1:55:02suspended license Big Kenny, We talked about this earlier. Uh the gentleman license
- 1:55:10was suspended. He calls in for his virtual court date. But the interesting
- 1:55:15part is as he was talking to the judge, he was calling in from
- 1:55:19his car. He was driving. Hopefully y'all are piecing that together. The
- 1:55:27gentleman who was supposed to be on a virtual call with the judge about his
- 1:55:30suspended license, which means that on suspended license. Last time I checked,
- 1:55:36I never had my suspended. But you're not supposed to drive. Is that
- 1:55:42still the same definition? That hasn't changed right now? No, it hasn't.
- 1:55:46And this is I think his first mistake, in my opinion, it
- 1:55:51was multiple. Yeah, I think, in my opinion, his first mistake.
- 1:55:57What's showing up for court? Now, I'm not saying that everybody skip
- 1:56:00court. I'm just saying he would have never got caught at me, he'd
- 1:56:02just missed the court date. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. That's all
- 1:56:10I'm saying. Write that down. Command you to put out a warrant for
- 1:56:14his arrest. Now, I'm saying, in full transparency, they gonna come
- 1:56:17looking for you, but you don't actually like do it to yourself. You
- 1:56:23know what I'm saying. Make them do their job. He said, we
- 1:56:27cable the screen. The judge asked him, are you driving? And he
- 1:56:30said, actually, I'm pulling into my doctor's office. Actually, just give
- 1:56:35me one second, I'm parking right down. So at least he was,
- 1:56:40you know, he was driving properly. Ny, you want him to be
- 1:56:44dishonest, he was gonna be driving as the proceedings went on. Still siund
- 1:56:51a little bit like a confession to make. He's just being honest with the
- 1:56:58judge. He was caught on tape and no hey and sports Jock, I've
- 1:57:05got to mention this. There's someone online listener named Ernest Wallace. When Ernest
- 1:57:11Waller says he's got an X rated story about the sports Shock, he says
- 1:57:15he don't think he can say it on air, but he got a lunch
- 1:57:17on it that he remembers it, a lunch on it that you remember the
- 1:57:23story. Okay, Well, I'm just saying what he said. Now,
- 1:57:30do you remember an X rated story with you and Ernest? No? Okay,
- 1:57:34which means you got a lot of X rated stories. Fist bump,
- 1:57:38christ bump. I knew me and you was gone. I knew me and
- 1:57:41you was gone. Come on, man, the ends was gonna meet.
- 1:57:43I knew the ends was gonna overlap at some point, come on, man,
- 1:57:45fist bump on on the debauchery sports jock. I did got Ernest dm
- 1:57:53us the show we want to. I'm just saying no, just the fact
- 1:57:56that you can't remember. Most people be like, oh, I know for
- 1:58:00you to be like X rated, most stories I can't remember. I don't
- 1:58:03know X rated stories. I got so many because first of all, I
- 1:58:08wouldn't know what story when you'd have to walk me back into it, Like
- 1:58:13stories like Clint Easwood movies. Eve been making them since the Saturdays. He
- 1:58:18doesn't take make college. That's last time I hung out with, which means
- 1:58:25that's probably an amateur film, you know. So, but thank you Ernest
- 1:58:32for letting me know. It's interesting what people were type, what people remember,
- 1:58:36Yeah, right on the internet for the whole world to see. At
- 1:58:42least. Ernest was like, I can't say it here. I appreciate that.
- 1:58:45Well, that's not really because that's not we know. And that kind
- 1:58:50of like when people say, with all due respect, like my friends on
- 1:58:55some board me, you used to go to jail or something out there about
- 1:58:58a person too. But that's all it takes in this society to put it
- 1:59:01out there, to put something out about a person. So that was very
- 1:59:04interesting. How you think you're not telling on a person, but you be
- 1:59:09telling me, But you're telling on the whole. Just and Greg, you
- 1:59:11look like you don't look something up over there. Did you find a new
- 1:59:14component of the judge and the driver? Well, I was looking at the
- 1:59:18story and uh, there was nothing else that knew about it. I'm pulling
- 1:59:25into my doctor's office. What does the judge say? If you can show
- 1:59:27me a doctor's excuse, I'll let you off. Now he got to make
- 1:59:31a doctor's appointment. You see what I'm saying, Because he probably wasn't really
- 1:59:34at the doctor and we are in the ocean. The truth is he will
- 1:59:43throw your to the ocean. It's time to rap things up. On The
- 1:59:47Sports Judge Show with Wayne Candy. Were the times of those who give the
- 2:00:15Sports out Test a minute to Vin, I'd like to thank you for tuning
- 2:00:16in to today's show, Monday Show, any segment, any hour that you
- 2:00:20gave us. Remember, once the show goes off air, you can go
- 2:00:24to Amazon podcast, Apple Podcasts, Deserve, Spotify, Audible, or iHeartRadio
- 2:00:31and hear the replay of the show Game five tonight MAVs timber Wolves Anthony Edwards
- 2:00:39called Anthony Towns Rudy Gobert fighting for their playoff lives. The MAVs are trying
- 2:00:45to end the series and go and play Boston for the championship. Next Thursday
- 2:00:55will be the NBA A Final start Januar excuse me, June the six going
- 2:01:00in the ocean to day, just like we had the Bad Breath Cereal.
- 2:01:06A rapist caught out in California. Interesting story. They arrested a gentleman who
- 2:01:17had been terrorizing the neighborhood for the last nine ten years. They called him
- 2:01:24the slingshot shoot him. For the last decade he has been going through the
- 2:01:30neighborhood with his slingshot, busting car windows, houses and anything else he can
- 2:01:40hit, shooting people driving down the street. Interesting part of this case is
- 2:01:47Prince Raymond King. It's eighty one years old. Nobody get they granted,
- 2:02:00who's supposed to be watching Prince Raymond today? Eighty one year old Prince Raymond
- 2:02:06King was arrested last week after the investigation under the title of serial slingshot shooter.
- 2:02:16The neighbors finally got their justice. It took him ten years to figure
- 2:02:21it out. He uses age. He was nobody was expecting Granddaddy. He
- 2:02:27was the one. He was being youthful out in a Zoomsa, California.
- 2:02:34No mention of how much time he's facing in the story, but it's been
- 2:02:39I guess a lot of property, dammit. And I was going to say
- 2:02:42that after ten years. Yeah, that's a lot of windows broken. So
- 2:02:45that adds up, well, eighty one years old. He doesn't have a
- 2:02:48lot of time to give to the prison system, but I guess they'll take
- 2:02:53what they can. Oh, you gotta do is clutch his heart. He
- 2:02:56left. But Prince Raymond King buck the plank eighty one. You know you're
- 2:03:09gonna he's gonna blame it on the clock, Homer, Damn, something like
- 2:03:12that. I don't want that, Homer, though, you got a anchory
- 2:03:18for Big Kenny Commands, your Greg and the sports Duck. As we always
- 2:03:21say on Thursday, we hope you have a good weekend and we'll see you
- 2:03:26in the future. Peace.
