- 0:01Speaker 1: I grabbed the friend and and as I'm running back,
- 0:04Speaker 1: they're paging my name. It's just a show, okay, So
- 0:11Speaker 1: I need to kind of set you up. And we're
- 0:13Speaker 1: asking the audience. We're asking you to let us know
- 0:17Speaker 1: where you come down on this big debate. We're talking about,
- 0:21Speaker 1: you know, MENACE's walk that you did forty some miles right,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and then we talked about the guy who walked the
- 0:28Speaker 1: equivalent of the you know, the equator or whatever, the
- 0:32Speaker 1: diameter whatever the earth come for thank you? Well, you
- 0:37Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like we were talking around thee
- 0:40Speaker 1: somebody said, oh, like Forrest Gump. Well, just that mention
- 0:43Speaker 1: of Forrest Gump's got everybody debating on when Jenny in
- 0:48Speaker 1: the movie got AIDS.
- 0:50Speaker 2: So did she.
- 0:54Speaker 1: We're trying to figure out the timeline of Jenny's AIDS.
- 0:56Speaker 3: And.
- 0:58Speaker 1: People wonder, like, wait, what do you guys talk about
- 1:00Speaker 1: like during commercial breaks or in music plays or whatever.
- 1:03Speaker 1: We're debating on when Jenny and Forrest Gump got aids?
- 1:06Speaker 1: Was it before or after Little Forrest was born?
- 1:09Speaker 4: Yeah, which I think it's obvious it must have been before.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But wouldn't little Forest have aids?
- 1:15Speaker 5: Yeah? He wouldn't.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Then wouldn't have to have as obviously after what because
- 1:19Speaker 3: she was saying the way that Sammy said it was like, oh,
- 1:21Speaker 3: would be impossible.
- 1:22Speaker 1: And I'm like, why, like, why couldn't she have gotten
- 1:24Speaker 1: the AIDS after she had little Forest.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Because those weren't her wore days and so yeah, do
- 1:30Speaker 2: you know that? And and her intention was he says that.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And her intention was to.
- 1:34Speaker 6: Move back with Forrest so she could die basically, you know,
- 1:38Speaker 6: take tickets.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But what does that have to do with when she
- 1:40Speaker 1: got the AIDS?
- 1:41Speaker 2: Well, to me, it was before, because she tells him
- 1:43Speaker 2: in the park, like before she had the baby. No,
- 1:46Speaker 2: I think that's what we're trying to figure out.
- 1:48Speaker 7: She says, I'm sick, I have a virus. But you're
- 1:51Speaker 7: trying to decide if the baby was born yet when
- 1:54Speaker 7: she got the AIDS right.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Which he must have been.
- 1:58Speaker 5: He he she must have.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Already had AIDS and then the baby was born.
- 2:02Speaker 5: What are we talking about saying that she had.
- 2:05Speaker 4: A baby and then got AIDS because she was still
- 2:07Speaker 4: horn it up?
- 2:08Speaker 2: I don't think she.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Did not do drugs or have sex with anybody after
- 2:14Speaker 3: she had.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Assuming that, why like, why would she have had to
- 2:21Speaker 1: have been a whore to get the AIDS. I guess
- 2:25Speaker 1: she couldn't.
- 2:25Speaker 2: She just hooked up with the wrong person.
- 2:27Speaker 7: Yeah, but the whole movie shows that she only makes
- 2:30Speaker 7: bad decisions until she makes one good decision, right, So
- 2:34Speaker 7: I think in the bad decisions was probably getting the AIDS. Okay,
- 2:38Speaker 7: but I'm with Samuem.
- 2:39Speaker 4: But then, also, wouldn't Forrest have AIDS because that would
- 2:42Speaker 4: mean that she already had the AIDS when she had sex.
- 2:45Speaker 5: With four.
- 2:47Speaker 7: Maybe it's possible, but since.
- 2:48Speaker 1: They were not guaranteed to get it, yes, and.
- 2:50Speaker 7: Also since they're just calling it the virus and they
- 2:53Speaker 7: don't really know what it is, they hadn't tested Little Forest.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so said Jenny ran a train with the Black
- 2:57Speaker 1: Panthers and got the AIDS. There's did with the Black Panthers.
- 3:01Speaker 1: She basically did do that. Yeah, but it also could
- 3:03Speaker 1: have been those dirty hippies when they're getting on the bus. Yes, yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 1: because that was a long bus ride. You don't know
- 3:08Speaker 1: what was going on in that bus.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:10Speaker 3: So Internet says that you would get HIV ten to
- 3:14Speaker 3: fifteen years before you would have full blown AIDS and die.
- 3:18Speaker 3: So I guess Sammy's terry is correct because it.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Was how old was for kindergarten? First grade?
- 3:28Speaker 7: Yeah, little emujual lawsmon.
- 3:32Speaker 5: It is a movie.
- 3:33Speaker 3: But well but you're going with like actual facts. She
- 3:38Speaker 3: had to have had it before.
- 3:40Speaker 7: And again, like I thought that was just the whole
- 3:42Speaker 7: point that once she became a boring diner waitress, she
- 3:45Speaker 7: didn't do anything or section do anything.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I was gonna say, someone just texted from the four
- 3:49Speaker 6: to four when Leonard Skinner was playing, and she almost
- 3:52Speaker 6: jumped off the hotel back and that's.
- 3:53Speaker 5: What she got it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe, I mean she had a sketchy pass. I mean, yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 2: she was stripping, yeah playing.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah, i'mnderstanding she was a slut, But.
- 4:04Speaker 4: It's reasonable to believe that that was the time period
- 4:07Speaker 4: that she would have got it doesn't really make sense
- 4:09Speaker 4: for after that.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'm hoping little Forrest didn't catch astray all. You know,
- 4:18Speaker 2: what's the what's the meme?
- 4:19Speaker 7: Like Gina, when somebody says, like, whenever I go to
- 4:23Speaker 7: a parent teacher conference, I always ask the teacher like
- 4:26Speaker 7: Forrest Gump, is he normal or is he like me?
- 4:34Speaker 1: So you wonder what we talk about her? But what
- 4:37Speaker 1: makes me laugh about it? Uh, And what's so random
- 4:40Speaker 1: is the serious intensity with which these conversations are had.
- 4:46Speaker 7: You know, everything has to be a heated no.
- 4:49Speaker 1: No, no, because you're forgetting it's a movie. Yeah, at
- 4:54Speaker 1: what point in the timeline the Jenny get aids is
- 4:56Speaker 1: what we're This is what we're like arguing over.
- 4:58Speaker 5: I have to do a rewatch. I don't remember.
- 5:00Speaker 7: We just watched it the other night.
- 5:02Speaker 1: The kid love that man says, you can become infected
- 5:06Speaker 1: and have full blown AIDS almost simultaneously. It just depends
- 5:09Speaker 1: on the virus that you caught, the mutation of it,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and your health.
- 5:12Speaker 4: But would it automatically be passed down to little Forest?
- 5:15Speaker 3: Well, they say with modern day medicine they can reduce
- 5:18Speaker 3: it down to a one percent modern.
- 5:20Speaker 7: Day Do you guys want to hear a crazy fact
- 5:24Speaker 7: that I just looked up because I said, in the book,
- 5:27Speaker 7: when did Jenny get AIDS? And guess what the answer is.
- 5:29Speaker 7: In the original Forrest Gump novel, Jenny never gets AIDS.
- 5:33Speaker 3: She gets HEPSI.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Oh maybe just assuming.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 3: In the actual novel, like he meets like a giant,
- 5:42Speaker 3: he goes to space. It's like way different than the movie.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Really, yeahah, but it says in that you.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Read a book, no I I watched it.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Lead here. We can all agree.
- 5:55Speaker 6: We can all agree she's a gold digger though, because
- 5:57Speaker 6: she went back because.
- 5:59Speaker 2: She knew he was rich. Yeah, for shrimp money. Yeah. Okay.
- 6:03Speaker 3: So in the nineteen eighties the risk of the baby
- 6:06Speaker 3: getting AIDS or HIV was twenty five to thirty percent,
- 6:11Speaker 3: still more likely than he did. But now modern day
- 6:13Speaker 3: they got it down to one percent.
- 6:14Speaker 7: Okay, okay, and apparently it was late stage HIV, so
- 6:18Speaker 7: get it right, okay, according to Google.
- 6:21Speaker 1: All right, yeah, well now that we now that we
- 6:24Speaker 1: figured that.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Out, Yeah, a little forward to seat what looks like?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, who knows where she got it. I
- 6:30Speaker 1: mean maybe it wasn't even from slutting. Maybe it was
- 6:33Speaker 1: from a toilet seat, or.
- 6:36Speaker 2: We don't know. We're looking at somebody the wrong way.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Yeah, show, all right, welcome back.
- 6:46Speaker 1: We'll follow up from what we did get to know.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Jeff g Yes, you said you you heard from your wife.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Your wife heard the segment.
- 6:57Speaker 2: She did. How did she like it? She liked it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: She said it was good. She liked all the follow
- 7:01Speaker 2: up questions that you guys asked.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Did she learn anything?
- 7:03Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, she did. She learned that I was still
- 7:06Speaker 8: in contact with one of my exes. And I was
- 7:10Speaker 8: very nervous for about thirty seconds, and she said it's cool.
- 7:14Speaker 8: She goes, I trust you, and I'm like yeah, I'm
- 7:16Speaker 8: like she just will say hi every once in a
- 7:18Speaker 8: while and congratulations or whatever, but nothing at all.
- 7:20Speaker 1: But luckily I dodged that bullet. So she knows this person,
- 7:24Speaker 1: she does not. They've never met. No, okay, I said,
- 7:26Speaker 1: because that might have changed, like if she already knew
- 7:28Speaker 1: this person, and like, oh, okay, whatever, don't care about it.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But like, man, I can't imagine my wife in that situation.
- 7:35Speaker 2: She wouldn't go for that at all. And I'll tell
- 7:36Speaker 2: you that. I'll tell you the other reason why.
- 7:38Speaker 1: So this woman that Jeff is talking about is the
- 7:41Speaker 1: person that Jeff was stepping out on his first wife with.
- 7:46Speaker 1: No not first wife, just a girlfriend. Oh he's just
- 7:48Speaker 1: a girlfriend, okay. Either way, he was cheating on the
- 7:51Speaker 1: person that he was with with this girl. Correct, So
- 7:55Speaker 1: it could be just any other woman that you had
- 7:57Speaker 1: a previous relationship with. My wife wouldn't be cool that
- 8:00Speaker 1: she especially wouldn't be cool knowing that it was the
- 8:03Speaker 1: side piece, Like you know that chicks down right yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 1: so she would break out.
- 8:11Speaker 2: She was freaked out. She was just like, that's cool,
- 8:14Speaker 2: I trust you.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:15Speaker 1: On that somebody was texting over question for the room.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Jeff G said he used to be a cheater. Do
- 8:21Speaker 1: you all think he's a good guy, Sammy Woody is
- 8:24Speaker 1: he a good person? Because we were having that discussion.
- 8:27Speaker 5: That's a great follow up, Yeah, mainly for you wood
- 8:30Speaker 5: because yeah, like of the mindset, I don't trust cheater.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I wouldn't trust Jeff in a relationship like like I would,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I wouldn't be in a romantic relationship with Jeff I
- 8:41Speaker 1: like if.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I knew that.
- 8:42Speaker 1: If I knew that, I wouldn't be in a relationship. Sorry, Jeff,
- 8:46Speaker 1: you can have a romantic relationship in our next life.
- 8:48Speaker 1: But in other areas, you know, like he hasn't. He
- 8:52Speaker 1: hasn't shown to not be in other areas, but like
- 8:55Speaker 1: in that area, he has shown And so I would
- 8:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't be comfortable in a relationship with Jeff. You
- 9:01Speaker 1: don't believe that.
- 9:02Speaker 7: You don't believe that right now? Jeff G, the Jeffy
- 9:05Speaker 7: we know now would never do that again.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I can't say he would never do it because he
- 9:09Speaker 1: has done it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's like someone who was an alcoholic and they haven't
- 9:13Speaker 1: had a drink for however many they say once an alcoholic,
- 9:17Speaker 1: all is an alcoholic you have.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Like Jeff, is a recovering pos That monster lives in you.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Like you, You were faced with that decision and maybe
- 9:26Speaker 1: because yes, you were younger, there were circumstances or whatever.
- 9:31Speaker 1: My My line on this was, I can believe it's,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you know, something that can be forgiven and looked past
- 9:40Speaker 1: as a one off. If it was a one off,
- 9:43Speaker 1: you were out somewhere one thing, one night, and that
- 9:47Speaker 1: was it, not that you did it, did it again
- 9:50Speaker 1: and kept doing it until you got caught. That says
- 9:53Speaker 1: something different to me, And.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That's you know.
- 9:56Speaker 7: But do you think just a bad person?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Do I know? As a person, I don't think he bad.
- 10:00Speaker 1: You don't think it's a bad I would, I would,
- 10:05Speaker 1: but I wouldn't be in a romantic relationship with Jeff
- 10:08Speaker 1: for many reasons.
- 10:08Speaker 2: No kisses for you, Jeff, No kisses, miss out on
- 10:11Speaker 2: those handies.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Because I know it because for me, I would constantly
- 10:16Speaker 1: be thinking about that.
- 10:17Speaker 6: Yeah, and that's understandable, But I've never bought into once
- 10:20Speaker 6: a cheater always a cheater because people can figure it out.
- 10:22Speaker 6: Like I figured it out after I got busted by
- 10:25Speaker 6: the police. I figured it out after.
- 10:26Speaker 8: This cheating, Like I kind of like that was the
- 10:28Speaker 8: moment of change, right, I'm not going to do this anymore.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but like that's why, like you like you have
- 10:34Speaker 1: that you have that in you.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that dog is in you.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Like you had you you had that moment of weakness
- 10:40Speaker 1: and you failed, and you failed multiple times. So like
- 10:44Speaker 1: you like you're susceptible to it where other people may
- 10:47Speaker 1: not be.
- 10:47Speaker 5: You know what.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, the not temptation, but the opportunity was there and
- 10:51Speaker 1: you didn't give the temptation. And so that's a different.
- 10:53Speaker 5: And now there's so much more to protect and to lose. True,
- 10:57Speaker 5: So times are different, circumstances are exactly exactly children.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not I'm not saying that he would do it,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Like it's not my belief that he would do I
- 11:07Speaker 1: believe that you wouldn't do it, But I can't. I
- 11:10Speaker 1: can't say that it would never happen, because it has correct.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Well, could happen with anybody. Yeah, with Greg, if.
- 11:17Speaker 4: You knew his wife at the time that they were meeting,
- 11:20Speaker 4: and you had been friends with him, would you be like, oh,
- 11:23Speaker 4: look out for that guy, though, can't trust.
- 11:26Speaker 1: No, he's if he's my friend, I don't know her,
- 11:28Speaker 1: she's the new girlfriend.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm not saying anything in that situation.
- 11:30Speaker 1: No, but you feel that way, Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I'd be like, well, good luck. That's what everybody told her.
- 11:36Speaker 1: We all, by the way, every dude has that friend.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I think every dude has that friend in some way,
- 11:41Speaker 1: shape or form whatever it is, Like someone who's you know,
- 11:44Speaker 1: just trouble and just trouble in some way, shape or form. Degenerate, gambler, cheater,
- 11:49Speaker 1: that's the drunk, that's the who. We all have that
- 11:52Speaker 1: one dude.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I wasn't in my friend group.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I was not that guy. There were people way worse
- 11:59Speaker 2: than me, you know, and.
- 12:01Speaker 4: That's why you hung out with them.
- 12:02Speaker 1: They made you feel good about yourself.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Six six. This is how what he has played it
- 12:09Speaker 1: before about cheaters. He's such a little bitch, saying he
- 12:11Speaker 1: doesn't want to say something wrong in front of Jeff. Now, like, no,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I just explained it's there. There's a there's a difference
- 12:19Speaker 1: between being like, there's plenty of people that I'm friends
- 12:21Speaker 1: with who do plenty of things that I wouldn't that
- 12:24Speaker 1: wouldn't be my choice. That's not how I decide to
- 12:27Speaker 1: my one buddy who gets hookers?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Not my choice?
- 12:31Speaker 3: You know?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Do I judge a little bit?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:33Speaker 2: I sure do.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I judge, but like it has nothing to do with me.
- 12:36Speaker 7: Okay, So in this case, do you agree? Are we
- 12:39Speaker 7: coming around with Sammy who said just because you cheat
- 12:42Speaker 7: it doesn't mean you're a bad person, as somebody pointed
- 12:45Speaker 7: out in the text too, does that do you agree
- 12:47Speaker 7: with her?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, if you're looking at it, yeah, if you're
- 12:50Speaker 2: looking as.
- 12:51Speaker 5: A on this specific hole here saying.
- 12:54Speaker 1: As a whole, yeah, but you're you're talking about when
- 12:58Speaker 1: we first heard that you were talking specifically, wasn't it
- 13:01Speaker 1: about your ex?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Because your ex had cheated on you?
- 13:03Speaker 1: We were having that conversation about I got divorced, you know,
- 13:06Speaker 1: blah blah blahlah blah.
- 13:08Speaker 5: It was all born from just because you cheated on
- 13:10Speaker 5: somebody doesn't make you any bad.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Anybody can stand up or take back or defend somebody
- 13:17Speaker 1: who cheated on them.
- 13:18Speaker 4: But my so, my original statement was from an unpopular
- 13:22Speaker 4: opinion segment that we had, which mine was that I
- 13:25Speaker 4: don't think cheating automatically makes you a horrible person. You
- 13:28Speaker 4: can do a bad thing and not be a bad person.
- 13:31Speaker 4: And I think and that it was kind of don't
- 13:34Speaker 4: judge somebody off of one of the worst moments in
- 13:37Speaker 4: their life or one of the worst things that they
- 13:38Speaker 4: have done.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Dar in place to my one off that plays into
- 13:41Speaker 1: my one off reason.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Stand what he loves cheaters.
- 13:49Speaker 1: If it's the one time in the worst moment of
- 13:51Speaker 1: your life and you made that that was the worst
- 13:53Speaker 1: moment for us.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Mistake, biggest mistake that you If you were in a
- 13:58Speaker 4: low point in your life and you're making mistakes, that
- 14:01Speaker 4: doesn't necessarily mean that you're a bad person in an
- 14:03Speaker 4: overall in your whole life that you should be judged
- 14:06Speaker 4: by that.
- 14:07Speaker 2: And you also believe people can change. That's what I'm hearing.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yes, Yeah, if Jeff was put into the position that
- 14:12Speaker 1: he wanted a new girlfriend, he would definitely cheat again,
- 14:15Speaker 1: just like if he was put into the position that
- 14:16Speaker 1: he really needed money, he would probably scam credit cards.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Again.
- 14:20Speaker 3: It's all situations specific, man, all my credit cards.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I trust you no more. Man, It's not going to happen.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I found
- 14:31Speaker 1: All right more what he shows next thing on, So
- 14:33Speaker 1: what do you show'll be right back
