Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: All right, welcome to all you faithfuls and traders for
- 0:03Speaker 1: another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls. We are
- 0:07Speaker 1: finally talking about traders once again. Wells Adams here alongside
- 0:11Speaker 1: someone who I've missed very, very much.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Tamara Judge. I feel like it's been like two years
- 0:19Speaker 2: since we've done this. Um, what has been going on
- 0:22Speaker 2: in your life? Like, did you have kids? Did you, what,
- 0:24Speaker 2: what's going on? I feel like it's been forever.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I know. Um, let's see. Um, I, I, I host
- 0:31Speaker 1: a show on the golf channel. I don't know if
- 0:32Speaker 1: you know that.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Well, you were kind of dipping into that. Your wife
- 0:35Speaker 2: was on Broadway.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yes. You were going back and forth. Now she's on
- 0:40Speaker 1: the West end in London doing cabaret. Okay.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Good for her.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Today is her opening night. So look, can we put
- 0:46Speaker 1: out some good vibes?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 0:49Speaker 2: How do you feel like having a wife that's so
- 0:51Speaker 2: crazy busy like that?
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's a bummer because, I mean, New York was far
- 0:56Speaker 1: for me to go visit her. London's worse. I don't
- 1:00Speaker 1: know if you're a fan of geography, but it's very
- 1:03Speaker 1: far to get over there.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I actually failed it in high school, but I have
- 1:07Speaker 2: been there before. So I know it's a trek to
- 1:09Speaker 2: get there.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm just very proud of her. This is
- 1:11Speaker 1: a dream role for her to be Sally Bowles in
- 1:15Speaker 1: Cabaret and then getting to do it on the West
- 1:17Speaker 1: End and then getting to do the West End in
- 1:20Speaker 1: the same year of doing a Broadway show, I think
- 1:23Speaker 1: is like very unique.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. So to be safe, no kids. You didn't
- 1:28Speaker 2: have any kids.
- 1:29Speaker 1: No, no. she's too busy for me to get laid.
- 1:34Speaker 1: What do you, that's what it sounds like.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Phone sex just doesn't do it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: No, it does. It doesn't make babies. That's for sure.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Let's get into this traders new blood season one. Um,
- 1:46Speaker 2: I'm not missing the celebs.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm not either. And I, I had a feeling that
- 1:50Speaker 1: this was going to happen for me. Um, what's so
- 1:53Speaker 1: fun about this is that because you don't know them,
- 1:56Speaker 1: they can be anyone they want.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:58Speaker 1: You know, Yeah. It's like when you watch the celebrities,
- 2:01Speaker 1: you're like, oh, I know, that's the asshole.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're right.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Refresh my memory. Have they done that in the US
- 2:10Speaker 2: version at all? Or has it always been celebs?
- 2:13Speaker 1: In season one, they had half.
- 2:16Speaker 2: That's right.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Half normies.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Half and half.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And then a half celebrities. And this is the first year.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But see, in the UK, they do... civilians, I think
- 2:26Speaker 1: is what they call them. Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I've seen, but I'll have to tell you, it's not
- 2:30Speaker 2: as good as this one.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I agree. And I'm liking it.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Maybe it's Alan. So you're thinking maybe it's Alan hosting
- 2:37Speaker 2: it or they just really picked them well this time.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think that the show just needed to get popular
- 2:45Speaker 1: enough to then not need the celebrities anymore. The celebrities
- 2:48Speaker 1: got them, I think, all the eyeballs for those first
- 2:52Speaker 1: three seasons. And now they're like, The show is winning Emmys.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Alan's winning Emmys. We probably don't need to pay these.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You're like, damn it. I wish I was on like
- 3:03Speaker 1: season five or six. Being at the very beginning, you know.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I know. He's not as great, all those things. And
- 3:10Speaker 2: people aren't watching as much. But I'll tell you, some
- 3:13Speaker 2: of these characters, I would assume they are on TV.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I mean, I swear I've seen Joe in an early
- 3:21Speaker 2: 2000 sitcom with Rosie O'Donnell or something. He just looks
- 3:24Speaker 2: like the type.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It's just, it's very interesting. I mean, obviously they probably
- 3:28Speaker 1: had a rigorous casting call for this and, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: people had to do lots of like kind of chemistry
- 3:35Speaker 1: reads and stuff to get on the show, but you're right.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Like watching, um, watching the show. I'm like, I'm going
- 3:42Speaker 1: through it being like, okay. Uh, Ben McDonald's hilarious.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Oh, by the way, I know Ben.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Do you really?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Ben DeGeneres was in dinner with Ben. Yes. Um, He's
- 3:53Speaker 2: actually a friend of somebody I know within the industry.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And we went to dinner and I met him and
- 4:00Speaker 2: his partner. And it was so like we became instant
- 4:02Speaker 2: friends because he has a ranch with all these animals
- 4:05Speaker 2: and we would talk about it and we would text.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And when he got on the show, he did not
- 4:10Speaker 2: tell me, obviously, because he couldn't. And then when it
- 4:13Speaker 2: came out, I'm like, what the? I go, okay, give
- 4:16Speaker 2: it to me. Did somebody get you in there?
- 4:18Speaker 1: He's like, no, not at all.
- 4:19Speaker 2: He goes, I did it all on my own.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Well, that's good.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Damn. Yeah. We're going to try to get them on
- 4:26Speaker 2: the pod. I talked to him yesterday, but you know
- 4:28Speaker 2: how strict they are?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Oh, I know.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Peacock's so strict. And so they can't go on any
- 4:34Speaker 2: podcasts until they are out.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Eliminated.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. We'll get them on eventually.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Okay. Hopefully.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 1: That would be awesome. I also want to get Clyde on.
- 4:45Speaker 1: He seems amazing. Jay seems amazing. I liked Kim, the,
- 4:49Speaker 1: the lawyer slash basketball coach.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Oh, do you think it was her karma to get
- 4:54Speaker 2: murdered after lying about who she was?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Well, we'll get into that because you have a theory
- 4:59Speaker 1: about that. And then, you know, when I met Kate, Katie,
- 5:02Speaker 1: the 23 year old, I was like, Oh, this is
- 5:03Speaker 1: a TV star. And then the same with Joe, right?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yes. Joe, Katie, Tamika.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:09Speaker 2: She also looks like she's an actress, just the way
- 5:12Speaker 2: she comes off and talks and so comfortable and natural
- 5:15Speaker 2: in front of the cameras.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 2: She's a pilot.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Christy is like the sassy Southern girl.
- 5:22Speaker 2: That's just like, she just, I just wanted to call
- 5:25Speaker 2: her Karen. She's such a Karen.
- 5:27Speaker 1: She went hard.
- 5:29Speaker 2: She put a target on her back. And then what
- 5:32Speaker 2: about Victor?
- 5:33Speaker 1: I mean, Victor, you can't talk about Victor without talking
- 5:37Speaker 1: about Madeline or Madeline.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Do you think they're going to be the couple? You
- 5:41Speaker 2: know how every season there's like a heartthrob. There's the
- 5:45Speaker 2: girl that's going to be on Dancing with the Stars.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Do you think it's going to be the same for
- 5:49Speaker 2: these civilians as it is for, let's say, regular traders
- 5:54Speaker 2: with celebrities on there?
- 5:56Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't want to get, I don't
- 5:57Speaker 1: want to put the cart before the horse because we
- 5:59Speaker 1: haven't gotten there yet as a producer. I would, I
- 6:03Speaker 1: am so annoyed that things went down the way they
- 6:05Speaker 1: did because I think all you want is a showmance
- 6:08Speaker 1: to happen on this show.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And you know, you like, you want to film them
- 6:13Speaker 1: both going up to bed together. Like, yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Well, speaking of showmances, you heard about CT and Phaedra, right? Oh, yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 1: They're together.
- 6:24Speaker 2: They're together. Now, they were on my season.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And I would- Was this Mark's then?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. Well, it's hard to tell with Phaedra because
- 6:33Speaker 2: she's so friendly with everybody. And he was going through
- 6:37Speaker 2: it at the time. I had conversations with him. He
- 6:38Speaker 2: was going through a divorce. He had a girlfriend that
- 6:41Speaker 2: he ended up married and divorced since I've seen him last.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And he was going through things with his son and
- 6:47Speaker 2: all this stuff. So Phaedra was always there kind of
- 6:50Speaker 2: comfort him and stuff. So I just thought it was
- 6:52Speaker 2: Phaedra being Phaedra. And then when it came out that
- 6:54Speaker 2: they're like dating, I'm like, Oh my God, I should
- 6:57Speaker 2: have seen that.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I, I can totally see them working too. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: don't know them personally, but just from watching them on
- 7:05Speaker 1: TV for so long, I'm like, yeah, that's, this checks out.
- 7:07Speaker 1: This works.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And Xavier, I thought at first that he was a
- 7:11Speaker 2: basketball player. You know, he's already been on watch what
- 7:13Speaker 2: happens live.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Oh really?
- 7:15Speaker 2: He was the bartender. oh yeah coming from my job
- 7:19Speaker 2: yeah yeah sounds like yeah but Tamika she's a she's
- 7:24Speaker 2: a force man.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yeah she's gonna be a really good trader all right
- 7:28Speaker 1: let's go let's get into the episode the players arrive
- 7:30Speaker 1: it seems like um the beginning of Harry Potter.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah Hogwarts I mean I'm loving the train station loving
- 7:39Speaker 2: it I.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Am too I mean like so right it's um It's
- 7:42Speaker 1: a storytelling device. We don't know these people. So this
- 7:44Speaker 1: is our opportunity to learn who they are vis-a-vis interviewing
- 7:48Speaker 1: each other on a train. I thought it was very
- 7:51Speaker 1: smart because I was like, how are they going to
- 7:52Speaker 1: do this? Are they going to have intro packages for everyone?
- 7:56Speaker 2: Very smart.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Very cool. Yeah. The train mechanism was good. So we
- 8:02Speaker 1: find out in the beginning that Kim is a lawyer,
- 8:06Speaker 1: but she's telling everyone that she's a college basketball coach
- 8:10Speaker 1: to avoid suspicion. Michael has the opposite approach. He's a lawyer,
- 8:14Speaker 1: but he's not hiding it. If you were a civilian
- 8:19Speaker 1: in this, would you change what your job is on
- 8:24Speaker 1: the show?
- 8:26Speaker 2: No, I just feel if you lie, you're just going
- 8:28Speaker 2: to get bit in the ass by it. And there
- 8:30Speaker 2: was already another attorney there. I think that she was
- 8:33Speaker 2: so well-liked that people wanted her to stick around. So
- 8:38Speaker 2: I don't think it was totally necessary, but I get
- 8:40Speaker 2: where she's coming from. She's like scared. She's like, they're
- 8:42Speaker 2: going to, but she really leaned into the lie. She
- 8:45Speaker 2: had a college picked out. She was talking about it
- 8:48Speaker 2: and we're like, Hmm. I know.
- 8:50Speaker 1: But what happens if like, someone's like, yeah, I went
- 8:53Speaker 1: to Houston.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Right. That's what I, that's what I was thinking. What
- 8:57Speaker 2: if somebody was like, called her out on it?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It was, it's interesting because I mean, you know, we
- 9:03Speaker 1: know what ends up happening and, you know, later in
- 9:06Speaker 1: the episode. So would she have been more on the
- 9:10Speaker 1: chopping block if she was a lawyer or?
- 9:13Speaker 2: I think she should have just, she should have just
- 9:17Speaker 2: been honest. If she wanted to lie about something, go, yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 2: I do HOA law. You know what I mean? Like
- 9:21Speaker 2: something that doesn't really, I'm not a criminal attorney or
- 9:25Speaker 2: anything like that. Oh, I do, you know, I do HOA.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's mainly pro bono work for me. I'm just
- 9:30Speaker 1: trying to get... Yeah, it's just a side hustle. Trying
- 9:33Speaker 1: to get orphans adopted, you know, whatever.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yes, do something like that.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You don't have to be like a defense attorney for
- 9:42Speaker 1: serial killers. It's okay.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Alan introduces a new incentive this season with each trader
- 9:49Speaker 1: they banish, the faithfuls will add an extra $ 15, 000 to
- 9:53Speaker 1: the prize pot. Um, this is a good idea.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Um, yeah, more money, more money. Uh, I, I don't know.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Do you think they, they, I know they like to
- 10:02Speaker 2: switch it up and they did switch things up a
- 10:04Speaker 2: lot in the first couple episodes. Um, do you think
- 10:07Speaker 2: it's because nobody can get a trader out until episode six?
- 10:11Speaker 1: I think that's one of them, one of the reasons.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I think the other reason is, especially like in the
- 10:17Speaker 1: season that I was in, season three, it ended with
- 10:20Speaker 1: like a kind of a kumbaya, like, you know, let's
- 10:23Speaker 1: have everyone eat a little bit of the money. Oh, true.
- 10:27Speaker 1: And it didn't leave for that one thing that I
- 10:29Speaker 1: think they wanted, which was someone trying to get another
- 10:33Speaker 1: traitor out, but ends up being a faithful and then
- 10:36Speaker 1: kind of a messed up ending. I think they want
- 10:39Speaker 1: to recreate that. I think that this is more for
- 10:42Speaker 1: the end of the show than it is for the beginning.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Right. It kind of incentivized people like traitors to get
- 10:47Speaker 2: out traitors too.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Yeah. The players explore the castle. Victor seems to have
- 10:54Speaker 1: a little crush on Madeline. He says one of his
- 10:57Speaker 1: greatest weaknesses is pretty girls, so he has to separate
- 11:00Speaker 1: church and state.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I thought for sure they were going to be the
- 11:04Speaker 2: castle couple, but we see what happens to Madeline.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I know. I was even hoping for like a Jim
- 11:09Speaker 1: and Pam situation, like will they, won't they for a couple.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I know.
- 11:13Speaker 2: At least for like three good episodes. I mean, it
- 11:15Speaker 2: was exciting to see them running around the castle like
- 11:18Speaker 2: little kids looking. And then you have Logan, who I
- 11:21Speaker 2: like to call Jeffrey Dahmer, who is just walking around
- 11:24Speaker 2: the castle going, zero expression, hands behind the back. I'm like,
- 11:31Speaker 2: you are the first person to go if I was
- 11:32Speaker 2: on that cast because you're creepy ass.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm like, for sure.
- 11:37Speaker 1: This guy's going to get taken out. Cause he is just,
- 11:40Speaker 1: he's like lurking.
- 11:41Speaker 2: He's lurking. And then he gets like his fried chicken
- 11:44Speaker 2: at one point. He's like, yeah, this looks good. I'm like,
- 11:48Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Uh, Alan starts doing the interviews with the cast. Um,
- 11:54Speaker 1: He talks to Joe and you know, Joe has this
- 11:57Speaker 1: one like locked and loaded in the chamber. He's a
- 11:59Speaker 1: funeral director and he can do the murders and get
- 12:02Speaker 1: rid of the bodies too. Did you, did you have
- 12:04Speaker 1: a sit down with Alan that they aired?
- 12:06Speaker 2: They did not air mine. And I was going to
- 12:09Speaker 2: ask you the same thing. Like, what did you say?
- 12:11Speaker 2: And I just remember sitting down there and being like,
- 12:13Speaker 2: what are you going to do with the money? It's like,
- 12:17Speaker 2: so I'm like, well, you know, I don't really count
- 12:19Speaker 2: my money until it's in the bank. You know, I
- 12:22Speaker 2: didn't know what to say.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I think I said, I want to give it to
- 12:26Speaker 1: a philanthropic arm, uh, of like a, like a dog
- 12:29Speaker 1: shelter and try to like get the, Oh.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Because it was dog. And then there was Ben that's like,
- 12:35Speaker 2: you know, the house pig is the new dog. Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Um, everyone. Um, so we gotta, we gotta select some
- 12:44Speaker 1: traders here. Everyone puts on their blindfolds at the round table.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Alan selects Joe as the first trader and Tamika as
- 12:50Speaker 1: the second, then he announces that another player will join
- 12:53Speaker 1: the traders. And Faithful will be murdered tonight.
- 12:57Speaker 2: What do you think about this whole traitor pick and how,
- 13:01Speaker 2: you know, they're going to have, you know, we don't know,
- 13:05Speaker 2: one or two more traitors come in and we'll find
- 13:07Speaker 2: out later how it works. But is it just them
- 13:10Speaker 2: mixing things up to try to make it more interesting?
- 13:12Speaker 1: I think the most interesting thing that happened in the
- 13:16Speaker 1: last season was like, do you remember Rob was having
- 13:20Speaker 1: to sneak around the house and find something or hide something.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I think it was a murder in plain sight, but
- 13:26Speaker 1: it was like this B storyline. Can Rob get this
- 13:29Speaker 1: thing done? Yes. And I think that the audience loved it.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Loved that.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So this is a mechanism to get more of that
- 13:35Speaker 1: stuff where you're just following someone and see if they
- 13:38Speaker 1: can get something done. Yeah. I think it's genius. I
- 13:42Speaker 1: think it's fun because it lets the traders... choose and
- 13:46Speaker 1: then but it also the stakes are really high for
- 13:49Speaker 1: because both those people want to be traitors right and
- 13:53Speaker 1: they but they do not want to be the second person.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Murdered who do you predict i think it's katie.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I think katie's gonna win she seems like the television
- 14:03Speaker 1: star to me yeah i But they both are big personalities.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's just so funny. If I wasn't supposed to know
- 14:12Speaker 1: who was who at that murder, I'd be like, well,
- 14:17Speaker 1: that one's 5'1, and that one's 7 feet tall. Right.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Pretty sure I could deduce who these people are.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Very true.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 1: The players have their first mission. They're searching a shipwreck
- 14:30Speaker 1: for gold, $ 50, 000 in the line, three shields up for grabs.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Victor immediately prioritized getting a shield over helping collecting money.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Abby L and Madeline take the two other shields, but
- 14:42Speaker 1: they kind of wait and that becomes important later on
- 14:44Speaker 1: in the episode.
- 14:45Speaker 2: What do you think about, is it just too early
- 14:48Speaker 2: to just go run for the shield and grab it?
- 14:51Speaker 2: It's going to put a target on your back?
- 14:53Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting because You can argue it both ways.
- 14:56Speaker 1: You can be like, I'm not a traitor. And so
- 14:59Speaker 1: I want to ensure that I'm not going to be
- 15:02Speaker 1: murdered tonight. But then you can say, well, if I
- 15:04Speaker 1: was a traitor, I might use that and say that.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So then people don't think that, you know, it's like
- 15:09Speaker 1: I can see it. I could see it both ways.
- 15:11Speaker 1: The most important thing about these missions for me is
- 15:15Speaker 1: showcasing your value in helping the collective make the money,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you know? Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think that's where he screwed up is
- 15:25Speaker 2: that he just ran beeline for that and took it.
- 15:28Speaker 2: And it was either like, you know, either he's a
- 15:31Speaker 2: traitor or he's just a selfish butthole. Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Do you think that that's grounds to get banished?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Early on, you know how it is. Early on, nobody
- 15:44Speaker 2: has anything to go off of. So they're going off
- 15:46Speaker 2: of sweaty boy and heavy breathing and things like that.
- 15:51Speaker 2: So that's going to give them a reason. They're like,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you know what? If you're not a traitor, you are
- 15:56Speaker 2: a selfish faithful.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I think the way that I would probably
- 16:01Speaker 1: play it is I would help as much as I
- 16:04Speaker 1: could in the beginning. And I think, and be also
- 16:07Speaker 1: like hyper aware of who's getting them. And then after
- 16:10Speaker 1: maybe the second one was gotten, I might try to
- 16:13Speaker 1: make a dash for the third. Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I just needed somebody to eat the raw salmon off
- 16:18Speaker 2: those nicely displayed silver platters when they opened up. I'm like,
- 16:22Speaker 2: come on, somebody take a bite. You know, somebody put
- 16:23Speaker 2: that together.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I've been sitting out there all day.
- 16:35Speaker 1: The traders meet in the turret for the first time.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Joe and Tamika discover that they're working together and they
- 16:40Speaker 1: both seem pretty happy about it. Alan reveals the twist.
- 16:43Speaker 1: They must choose two players to compete for. The remaining
- 16:47Speaker 1: trader position won't become a trader and the other will
- 16:49Speaker 1: be murdered. That's savage. It's so savage. It's so fun.
- 16:53Speaker 1: If you're in the turret, let's say you're Tamika here.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Joe. what are we thinking in terms of who the
- 17:00Speaker 1: two people are that we want to buy to become traders?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Like what are the qualifications?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Well, I didn't do very well at the show. So
- 17:07Speaker 2: I'm just going to throw that out there first. I
- 17:14Speaker 2: think like you have to have, you know, I don't know.
- 17:16Speaker 2: There's a couple of ways of looking at it. You
- 17:18Speaker 2: have a good person at big personality. You know, what
- 17:21Speaker 2: the viewers don't know is, These two have spent a
- 17:24Speaker 2: lot of time at this point with everybody. As viewers,
- 17:27Speaker 2: we don't know them like they do. And so they
- 17:31Speaker 2: obviously saw something in Katie, for sure. And you could
- 17:35Speaker 2: see the more the time goes on, she's got something.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I don't know what it is because it's too soon.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And then you just have Xavier, who's just a big guy.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It's just I think it's a tough decision who to pick. Like,
- 17:52Speaker 2: what if you just pick like Jeffrey Dahmer, who's just
- 17:55Speaker 2: quiet and maybe there's no suspicion on him. I don't know. Yeah.
- 17:59Speaker 1: To me, that would be like a sacrificial lamb that
- 18:01Speaker 1: you're bringing into the turret because you know that there'll
- 18:03Speaker 1: be a shield for you because he'll probably get voted out.
- 18:07Speaker 2: And there's that one guy that we haven't seen much of, Mark,
- 18:10Speaker 2: the personal trainer. Very, very quiet. One person I wouldn't
- 18:14Speaker 2: have picked was.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Christy.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Well, listen, you know, my theory of like, if you
- 18:21Speaker 1: don't see someone early on in a season, that means
- 18:24Speaker 1: they're going a long way because a lot of their
- 18:26Speaker 1: storylines happening in, you know, the second and third act.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm actually really proud of Ben because he's kind
- 18:33Speaker 2: of keeping a low profile and he's a big guy. Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 1: And with a big personality, it seems like. Yeah. Yes.
- 18:38Speaker 2: And he's just keeping a low profile, which is very,
- 18:41Speaker 2: very smart.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I think that what the traders did in picking both teams,
- 18:48Speaker 1: katie and xavier i think that was smart one because
- 18:53Speaker 1: katie's young so she can um she can kind of
- 18:58Speaker 1: empathize with the younger cast yeah help them uh with
- 19:03Speaker 1: information like it's like they're diversifying who's in the turret
- 19:07Speaker 1: and then i think xavier's a really good pick because
- 19:11Speaker 1: of his size that like, you know, he's going to
- 19:13Speaker 1: continue to get you more and more money in the challenges.
- 19:17Speaker 1: So it's almost like a win-win. Like it doesn't really
- 19:19Speaker 1: matter who wins. I was interested to see if they
- 19:23Speaker 1: wouldn't throw someone in there that they kind of wanted
- 19:26Speaker 1: to murder anyways, you know, like they were already concerned
- 19:30Speaker 1: about and then it would be.
- 19:33Speaker 2: So this murder is going to happen on, Episode three. Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Because I was confused at first. I thought that they
- 19:40Speaker 2: had to murder somebody and then pick the two. And
- 19:44Speaker 2: out of that too, that was the person that was
- 19:46Speaker 2: going to be murdered, but no, it was not, not
- 19:49Speaker 2: one of them.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Kim.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Uh, the episode ends with the accomplices identities not being, uh,
- 19:57Speaker 1: revealed episode two. We finally learned the identity of the
- 20:01Speaker 1: two accomplices. It is, yes, it is young Katie and
- 20:04Speaker 1: tall Xavier.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Uh, Now when they were in the forest and they had,
- 20:11Speaker 2: I assume it was Kim's body in the coffin.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And then they, it was the two of them with
- 20:17Speaker 2: axes like sending her off. And it's like crying, crying river,
- 20:23Speaker 2: which had that Justin Timberlake song. I'm like, Oh my God. Okay.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So this is a, this is a behind the scenes
- 20:32Speaker 1: producerial question that I want to ask you. You think
- 20:34Speaker 1: that Kim was really there? No, no.
- 20:37Speaker 2: No.
- 20:38Speaker 1: It's some handler they threw in that cloak. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:42Speaker 2: There's probably nobody in there.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I did like the mechanism of them sending her down
- 20:47Speaker 1: the river, you know? I know. Like in Hades or something.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I swear, it gets better and better every season.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah. uh xavier targets his competition he starts casting suspicion
- 21:00Speaker 1: on katie immediately hoping her banishment will clear his path
- 21:03Speaker 1: to becoming a traitor uh he does this in front
- 21:06Speaker 1: of joe and tamika not knowing they're the other traitors
- 21:11Speaker 1: you think this is a smart play or do you
- 21:13Speaker 1: think you should try to keep a low profile i.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Think you should shut up i do too it's just
- 21:18Speaker 2: stupid and joe needs to shut up too oh my
- 21:21Speaker 2: god And then Tamika, she was like, do you think
- 21:25Speaker 2: someone got murdered last night? No shit, girl. Say less.
- 21:30Speaker 2: You knew somebody was going to get murdered. Sometimes you
- 21:32Speaker 2: say too much. And then Joe's like, I'm going to
- 21:34Speaker 2: keep it cool like the Fonz. And I'm like, no,
- 21:37Speaker 2: you're not.
- 21:38Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 21:39Speaker 2: You're not going to. And then they do that early
- 21:42Speaker 2: roundtable situation where we normally would do it at night.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:46Speaker 2: They're like, nope, you're going to murder somebody now. Or
- 21:49Speaker 2: banish somebody now.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, Joe, I don't know if you remember
- 21:52Speaker 1: on season one, there was a civilian named Christian who
- 21:56Speaker 1: wore like a big hat and he was like a
- 21:58Speaker 1: big personality.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yes.
- 21:59Speaker 1: That was a traitor.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Who was giving Christian vibes.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Uh-huh. Yeah. I was bummed to see Kim gone because
- 22:06Speaker 2: I just, I wanted to see more of her. Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 2: But it's always sucks to be the first one to
- 22:12Speaker 2: go home.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I know.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Or the second.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Tell me about it.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 22:18Speaker 1: You know what's funny is that to fast forward to
- 22:23Speaker 1: that round table, I'm sitting there being like, I was Victor.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I was like the nice looking guy who's like, wait, what?
- 22:33Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 22:36Speaker 2: He cracked me up at the round table. I'm a
- 22:39Speaker 2: sweaty boy.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Those exact words, by the way.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I hope he makes it far. I think now. somebody
- 22:46Speaker 2: else has put a target on their back. And I'm
- 22:48Speaker 2: hoping that he, because he kind of has a funny
- 22:51Speaker 2: quirky personality. Like he had no idea, like going and
- 22:54Speaker 2: grabbing that shield immediately meant anything.
- 22:58Speaker 1: He's like, what do you mean? Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Why wouldn't I?
- 23:01Speaker 1: This is a good argument. Like we talking about, I
- 23:05Speaker 1: thought we'd try to not die.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Exactly. Exactly. But you have to be a little bit
- 23:10Speaker 2: more strategic.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Meanwhile, the players are discussing the first murder. Madeline
- 23:14Speaker 1: says she would feel bad for picking Kim to be murdered.
- 23:18Speaker 1: But Christy hears her say, I feel bad picking Kim,
- 23:22Speaker 1: which makes her think that Madeline slipped up and revealed
- 23:25Speaker 1: her identity as a traitor. Christy tells multiple people what
- 23:28Speaker 1: she heard and everyone starts to become suspicious of Madeline.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Did you hear what Christy heard or did you hear?
- 23:36Speaker 2: No, I mean, I use subtitles, but they bleep something
- 23:40Speaker 2: out even on the subtitles that you can see, hear
- 23:43Speaker 2: what she said or read what she said. So I
- 23:47Speaker 2: would have wished that Christy would have said, wait, what
- 23:49Speaker 2: did you just say?
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:51Speaker 2: So she could either clarify it because it's so early on,
- 23:55Speaker 2: it's so hard to pick somebody. And why didn't Madeline
- 23:59Speaker 2: at the time, like just at the round table, be like,
- 24:03Speaker 2: why would I do that?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Why would I be so stupid? Like she didn't help
- 24:08Speaker 2: herself at all. Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I got to say though, I could definitely see her
- 24:12Speaker 1: being a traitor. She's really, really pretty. Yep. I bet
- 24:17Speaker 1: you cameras were on her a lot in the beginning.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I could kind of see how... how a lot of
- 24:21Speaker 1: people thought both of them, Victor and Madeline were traitors together.
- 24:26Speaker 2: But if you watch some of the other seasons, like
- 24:29Speaker 2: we had Peppermint who slipped and said something and then got,
- 24:34Speaker 2: you know, banished for that. I think if you studied
- 24:37Speaker 2: the shows long enough, it's happened a few times. Christy
- 24:40Speaker 2: should have said like, well, wait, what did you just say?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Apparently I said something. I don't remember this, but
- 24:48Speaker 1: Boston Robb, after the, he wasn't a trader yet. We
- 24:55Speaker 1: were driving back after a mission and we were both
- 24:58Speaker 1: in the back. And apparently I said something that made
- 25:01Speaker 1: him think that I was a trader. Yeah. Then he
- 25:04Speaker 1: became a trader that night and realized that I wasn't.
- 25:06Speaker 1: So like, it wasn't a storyline, but if he was
- 25:08Speaker 1: a faithful, he was.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
- 25:11Speaker 1: You said, you said this in the car.
- 25:13Speaker 2: And I was like, I think every single season, somebody slipped. Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 2: So I don't know in the future, just like, Maybe ask. Yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I would have asked. Yeah. Would you have asked? Like,
- 25:24Speaker 2: what did you say? Can you clarify that? Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 1: The problem is, is that, well, so I wish that
- 25:33Speaker 1: she had asked because it would have put a pin
- 25:35Speaker 1: in it for Victor, right? Because her only accomplice in
- 25:39Speaker 1: the whole thing is Victor.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 1: To have heard it, right? Because it's a, he said,
- 25:42Speaker 1: she said, and then you have one other guy. So
- 25:44Speaker 1: you have to put a pin in that to be like, wait,
- 25:46Speaker 1: hold on. What did you, did I just hear you say, Victor,
- 25:49Speaker 1: did you hear that? And then when she accuses Madeline
- 25:54Speaker 1: of this at the roundtable and she also asks Victor,
- 25:57Speaker 1: then at least Victor can be like, ah, I heard it,
- 26:00Speaker 1: but I don't know if that's what she said. You know, like.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Well, Victor's like his face, nothing changed when she said it.
- 26:06Speaker 2: So it's. Then at the round table, he's like, I
- 26:10Speaker 2: didn't hear that.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I mean, I can tell from experience when you don't
- 26:13Speaker 1: think you're on the chopping block and then all of
- 26:15Speaker 1: a sudden, like everyone's against you. It's really nerve wracking.
- 26:19Speaker 1: This is really spiraling out of control. I think that's
- 26:22Speaker 1: kind of what happened to both Madeline and Victor. Everyone
- 26:26Speaker 1: at the round table also scrutinizing Victor for getting that
- 26:29Speaker 1: shield so early in the mission. Right.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Christy brings up the supposed confession, shifting the conversation towards her.
- 26:39Speaker 1: You know what was interesting about this? Is that Christy
- 26:44Speaker 1: and Xavier both pipe up at the same time, and
- 26:47Speaker 1: Christy goes, like, I want to go first. And that
- 26:50Speaker 1: was the moment that Xavier was going to be like,
- 26:53Speaker 1: Katie's a traitor.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Oh, you think so?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yes, 100%.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Oh.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And then that happened and it was like, okay, the
- 27:01Speaker 1: room has shifted. I can't even try to do this
- 27:03Speaker 1: to her, you know?
- 27:03Speaker 2: It's probably best that he didn't.
- 27:07Speaker 1: A hundred percent.
- 27:09Speaker 2: But just how much he wants to call her out,
- 27:12Speaker 2: I think it's going to hurt him. And I think,
- 27:14Speaker 2: you know, with Tamika, she saw that and she made
- 27:19Speaker 2: a comment. She's like, well, I don't really want a
- 27:21Speaker 2: traitor that's going to come after me.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Exactly.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I don't think he's going to win, but I, you know,
- 27:27Speaker 2: who knows? It could be wrong. Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 1: It definitely seems like, okay, if you guys are both
- 27:31Speaker 1: kind of like traders in, you know, in practice right now,
- 27:37Speaker 1: it sounds like you're one of the people that goes
- 27:39Speaker 1: after traders and we don't want that. We don't want
- 27:42Speaker 1: trader on trader hate. Yeah.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Well, I have a question for you. Madeline, um, So
- 27:50Speaker 2: Victor stood up for Madeline and didn't write her name down. Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 2: But Madeline did not stick up for Victor. Do you
- 27:58Speaker 2: think that that was a smart move? She probably thought
- 28:00Speaker 2: it was between the two of them.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yeah. So she was counting numbers. He wasn't. It's something
- 28:05Speaker 1: that I wish I had done because the numbers came
- 28:07Speaker 1: down to, I had, I think, seven votes. I think
- 28:10Speaker 1: Robin had six and Ivers had six. I knew there
- 28:15Speaker 1: was heat on Ivers. And I remember thinking if I
- 28:19Speaker 1: just voted for him, he would have gotten the seventh
- 28:22Speaker 1: vote and I would have been safe. Right. I wasn't
- 28:24Speaker 1: thinking that way. I was thinking like, you know, I
- 28:28Speaker 1: was angry about how things went down. So I was
- 28:30Speaker 1: trying to go after Robin. And that's exactly what Victor did.
- 28:34Speaker 1: He voted for Christy because he was like, I don't
- 28:38Speaker 1: know if that's true. And then Adeline was smart enough
- 28:41Speaker 1: to be like, I got to play numbers here. Sorry, buddy. Yeah.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So it was a smart move.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I think so.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know that I would have done that though.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I don't know that I would think like that.
- 28:53Speaker 1: But ultimately Madeline receives 13 votes and is banished from
- 28:56Speaker 1: the castle at the circle of truth. She calls Christie
- 29:00Speaker 1: a liar. I know right there and reveals that she
- 29:04Speaker 1: is a faithful after the banishment. Christie becomes emotional, obviously
- 29:08Speaker 1: because she was so wrong about Madeline.
- 29:10Speaker 2: She's all, I'm not a liar. I'm not a liar.
- 29:13Speaker 2: And Victor's like, you're not a good hearer either.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's such a good line. He's got a
- 29:17Speaker 1: lot of good one liners.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah. But how about afterwards? This is like, threw me
- 29:23Speaker 2: a little bit. You know, Christie's all upset. Joe's hugging
- 29:27Speaker 2: her and he's saying, don't worry. No one is holding
- 29:29Speaker 2: it against you. And the ones that do don't matter.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I'm like, is that smart for a traitor to say that.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah i don't know i don't know if joe's just
- 29:38Speaker 1: trying to be everyone's best friend yeah gotta know if
- 29:43Speaker 1: he has any brains he's gotta know that she's definitely
- 29:48Speaker 1: probably going home next episode in the round table right yeah.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Yeah i would think so i mean you never know
- 29:56Speaker 2: you know how things just switch and yeah Somebody else
- 29:59Speaker 2: gets suspicion on someone else and it can turn around
- 30:02Speaker 2: so quickly. But if it doesn't, then she's gone.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she's gone. And then I think they
- 30:11Speaker 1: might go back to Victor. That's how I would think
- 30:15Speaker 1: about it. The accomplices face their final test. This is
- 30:25Speaker 1: very fun. Katie and Xavier must retrieve a hidden death
- 30:28Speaker 1: warrants from two copies of Crime and Punishment, which are
- 30:31Speaker 1: hidden in the castle. They have until the final clock
- 30:34Speaker 1: chimes to complete the task. Are you on with these
- 30:38Speaker 1: side quests? Yeah.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I think it's cute. I think it's fun. You're like
- 30:43Speaker 2: wanting to yell at the TV at one point. I'm like, Xavier,
- 30:45Speaker 2: just pull the book off and just look like you're
- 30:47Speaker 2: just looking like no big deal. Like open it up
- 30:50Speaker 2: just to see if you can find it in there
- 30:52Speaker 2: and then close it. Could he like have shoved it
- 30:56Speaker 2: in his shirt and like walked in the bathroom or
- 30:58Speaker 2: he had to do it in plain sight?
- 31:01Speaker 1: I was thinking the same thing. I was like, what
- 31:02Speaker 1: I would have done was I would have put that
- 31:04Speaker 1: in my, in like, Yeah, shoving your pants. And I
- 31:07Speaker 1: would have gone to the bathroom.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Yes. But then I was wondering like, oh, do they
- 31:13Speaker 2: have to do it in front of everyone? And of
- 31:15Speaker 2: course we don't get to see, you know, there's two
- 31:17Speaker 2: different rooms, two different books. And is it just, what
- 31:21Speaker 2: are they looking for? Just a piece of paper?
- 31:23Speaker 1: Well, I guess, yeah, it's a death warrant. I mean,
- 31:26Speaker 1: Katie gets really close where she's like going through the
- 31:28Speaker 1: book and isn't able to find it. You got to
- 31:30Speaker 1: do that thing where you take the, you know, shake it. Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Shake it.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Well, that's why I was like, I would have just
- 31:36Speaker 2: like grabbed the book, like just looking at the books
- 31:38Speaker 2: and go, Oh, look at this and just kind of
- 31:39Speaker 2: look through it. See if you can find it, put
- 31:41Speaker 2: it back. Just so you kind of know.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I also have been like, you know what I probably
- 31:45Speaker 1: would have done. I would have probably been like, man,
- 31:46Speaker 1: this library is so, so vast. And then like gone
- 31:49Speaker 1: and looked at like other books and going through other books,
- 31:52Speaker 1: you know, and then like, Oh, this is a great one.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I read that.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I read that back in ninth grade.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah. I, but the bathroom thing theory, I think maybe
- 32:03Speaker 2: they probably couldn't do it. They probably have to do
- 32:05Speaker 2: it right there in broad daylight in front of everyone.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I got a feeling production was like, all right, you
- 32:09Speaker 1: got to do this, but we have to get it
- 32:11Speaker 1: on camera. So you can't like go. Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 2: You can't go run into the bathroom or the, or
- 32:15Speaker 2: the cameras are coming in.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Until the final clock chimes to complete the task.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Do you think that anyone did it? I got to
- 32:26Speaker 1: believe somebody did it. I know.
- 32:28Speaker 2: What if they both did it?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Yeah, then it just comes down to who do you
- 32:31Speaker 1: want on your team, I guess, as a traitor.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Is this the final? Like if one doesn't get it,
- 32:38Speaker 2: they're gone? Or do the traitors get to pick who's
- 32:43Speaker 2: going to be murdered?
- 32:44Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. So the way that the super
- 32:46Speaker 1: tease ends at the end of the show is that
- 32:48Speaker 1: the traitors, Alan, and then the two potential traitors are there.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And he says something to the effect of like, all right,
- 32:56Speaker 1: who was able to get the death warrant? Yeah. So
- 32:59Speaker 1: it implies that if you don't have the death warrant,
- 33:03Speaker 1: I guess that is your death warrant. And if you do,
- 33:07Speaker 1: then you have the potential to be picked as a traitor.
- 33:11Speaker 1: What's interesting, and this is what I think is going
- 33:13Speaker 1: to happen, is that they're both going to have it.
- 33:16Speaker 2: And then what? So then they just choose who dies?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah. And then I think you, I mean, who do
- 33:22Speaker 1: you pick? I don't know. If they both have it,
- 33:24Speaker 1: who do you pick?
- 33:26Speaker 2: I just have a feeling Katie is going to be
- 33:28Speaker 2: a traitor.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I think it's the young part that they want. And
- 33:33Speaker 2: Tamika had said something about having young eyes. And then
- 33:36Speaker 2: I think what Xavier did trying to, you know, run
- 33:42Speaker 2: over Katie is not going to be a good look
- 33:44Speaker 2: for him at the end.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Now, you know, the traitor season five, is it five
- 33:50Speaker 2: or six? There's a new celebrity cast out.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Yeah, my buddy Joey Grazadeh is on it.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Really?
- 33:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 2: So it's an exciting cast. Kristen Chenoweth, Dominic. Some of
- 34:02Speaker 2: these people I don't even know. Chloe. I obviously know
- 34:08Speaker 2: the Bravo people, Cynthia Bailey, who's going to be great.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Bronwyn Newport, she's on there, another housewife. Craig from Southern Charm, excited.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Just interviewed him a couple weeks ago. Um, so there,
- 34:23Speaker 2: I think they're going to film, they're filming now.
- 34:26Speaker 1: They are. Yeah. I, I knew, um, I knew Joey
- 34:30Speaker 1: Grazadeh was going to be on the show. Cause we
- 34:32Speaker 1: were supposed to play in a golf tournament and he
- 34:33Speaker 1: was like, I gotta go. And I'm like, where.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Are you going? He was on the bachelor, right?
- 34:37Speaker 1: Yeah. He was the bachelor. He won with the stars. Um,
- 34:40Speaker 1: It'll be interesting.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I know who he is.
- 34:42Speaker 1: It'll be interesting to see if they make, I would
- 34:44Speaker 1: make him a trader because I think you would want
- 34:47Speaker 1: him on your TV screens and he's so lovable. Um,
- 34:50Speaker 1: but I think that if you are that in traders
- 34:53Speaker 1: and you are just a faithful through, you know, so.
- 34:58Speaker 2: We're going to be busy. So if this is filming
- 35:00Speaker 2: right now, when does it air normally? Like after the
- 35:04Speaker 2: first of the year, don't they have a pretty quick turnaround?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Scheduled to premiere in 2027. So yeah, it's usually like
- 35:11Speaker 1: right in the beginning of the year.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah. January.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 2: January. So that's good.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Yeah. That's good.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Do we know how many episodes this, the new blood has?
- 35:23Speaker 2: Is it the same? Do you notice they're only 40 minutes?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Or was it short?
- 35:29Speaker 2: They're shorter. They're only 40, 42 minutes.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I have with commercial. 12 episodes in this one. That's
- 35:37Speaker 1: why I feel like the old ones were 11, 10 episodes.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:43Speaker 2: So I kind of like it 40 minutes.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I do too.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 1: More palatable.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Cut out the, the fluff stuff. Just give
- 35:51Speaker 2: us the good stuff.
- 35:52Speaker 1: You know, what's one thing that was weird to me?
- 35:54Speaker 2: What?
- 35:56Speaker 1: I don't know if you noticed it, but like the
- 35:58Speaker 1: guys from Harry Potter were like in the beginning.
- 36:01Speaker 2: What?
- 36:02Speaker 1: What?
- 36:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:04Speaker 1: The two twins that opened the candy store.
- 36:07Speaker 2: They showed them.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Yeah. They're at the castle. Like Alan calls them and
- 36:11Speaker 1: he's like, get the castle ready or something like that.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And I'm like, what are they doing here? And then
- 36:15Speaker 1: you never see them again.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Oh, so they just made it. They just wanted to
- 36:19Speaker 2: give it that Hogwarts kind of feel.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Or they're good.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I miss that.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I have to go back and watch, but I'm not
- 36:26Speaker 2: a big Harry Potter person.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Like obviously I've seen some of them, but so I
- 36:30Speaker 2: probably wouldn't have known the twins.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Um, yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's Ron's older brothers,
- 36:38Speaker 1: I believe. Oh, yeah.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Very cool. Um, all right.
- 36:42Speaker 1: This is, this is so fun that this is back traders,
- 36:45Speaker 1: new blood. If you guys aren't watching the show alongside us,
- 36:49Speaker 1: you need to, you're not that far behind. There's only
- 36:51Speaker 1: two episodes out right now. Again, we'll be back next
- 36:54Speaker 1: week to recap episode three. If you're not following us
- 36:57Speaker 1: on social media, please do app by order of the faithfuls. T,
- 37:02Speaker 1: it's so good to have you back. I know.
- 37:04Speaker 2: It's good to have the band back. And we'll have
- 37:07Speaker 2: Dolores next week. I think she's traveling this week.
- 37:11Speaker 1: She's a busy girl.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:13Speaker 2: And you guys have been doing podcasts together. right?
- 37:17Speaker 1: We've been doing, we've been recapping a bunch of weird shows.
- 37:20Speaker 1: One was about nannies who, uh, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:24Speaker 2: But you, you guys went from traders to survivor.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Survivor was very fun.
- 37:29Speaker 2: And they asked me if I said, no, thank you. No,
- 37:35Speaker 2: thank you. But, um, yeah, glad that traders is back.
- 37:39Speaker 2: So excited. So we'll be with you for a while.
- 37:42Speaker 2: So we have 12 weeks with new blood and then
- 37:47Speaker 2: won't be that long before season, is it six? I
- 37:51Speaker 2: can't remember.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Season five.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Five, five comes out.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Or maybe it's six. I don't know if this is considered.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Five, yeah, that's what I was wondering.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Five because it's civilians. Last question I've got for you.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Of the traders and the two potential new traders, who
- 38:06Speaker 1: do you think the first trader to be banished will be?
- 38:09Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I'm afraid that possibly Joe is going to
- 38:15Speaker 2: get banished just because he has a big mouth and
- 38:17Speaker 2: he can't help himself.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I know.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I'm fearful of that because I really like him.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I know. He's such a big personality, but I think
- 38:26Speaker 1: he's going to trip up. We'll see.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Who do you think so far is going to be
- 38:30Speaker 2: doing commercials, getting those Cheez-It commercial or whatever it is?
- 38:35Speaker 1: Katie? Katie? I think seems like a star.
- 38:42Speaker 2: If Joe makes it for a while, I think he
- 38:44Speaker 2: will too.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Yep. And then if Victor can somehow get out of this,
- 38:49Speaker 1: he's got a million dollar smile and he's a sweaty boy.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I feel like he could sell some like deodorant.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Deodorant. Exactly. Exactly. You're so right about that. Axe for
- 39:02Speaker 2: men or whatever it is.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Hold on. We can get this guy for cheap right now.
- 39:10Speaker 2: So true. So true. Well, it was nice reconnecting and
- 39:15Speaker 2: we'll see you next week. Yeah.
- 39:17Speaker 1: If you guys aren't following us again on social media,
- 39:19Speaker 1: please do. And DM us any questions, concerns, or comments
- 39:21Speaker 1: you've got about this season of, of traders new blood.
