  Speaker 1: you for yet this hour. Lord, I thank you for

  Speaker 1: Lord God, and share your goodness, Lord God, share your word,

  Speaker 1: your truth or God that that we should govern our

  Speaker 1: lives by Lord god Father. I thank you for just

  Speaker 1: moving all over this Landlord god Father. I lift up

  Speaker 1: our president. I've lift up all those that are in

  Speaker 1: the administration, Lord God, asking that you would just align

  Speaker 1: them with your will and your way. Lord god Father.

  Speaker 1: We know your word says that the government sits on

  Speaker 1: your shoulder. Lord God, so Father, we are trusting and

  Speaker 1: believing that you are yet working on working it out,

  Speaker 1: Lord God, and that everything will line up for your glory,

  Speaker 1: in us. Lord God. So Father, right now, I ask

  Speaker 1: that you have already put on the inside of us.

  Speaker 1: Lord God, allowed to align and to walk into our destiny.

  Speaker 1: Lord God Father, your word says in Jeremiah twenty nine

  Speaker 1: and eleven, it said that you declared that you had

  Speaker 1: a plan for us, and it was to prosper us,

  Speaker 1: not to harm us, for us to have good health,

  Speaker 1: for us to have hope in the future. So Father,

  Speaker 1: I stand on your word today. I have the faith

  Speaker 1: the size of a mustard. See, Lord God, and I

  Speaker 1: believe what you've done for me before in your past,

  Speaker 1: the Lord, in the strength of his might. Don't share

  Speaker 1: a little backstory on this scripture. So over Interphesians, it says.

  Speaker 1: In this version, it says, and in the lesson, the
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: title of this lesson today is strength for the journey,
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: standing firm in God's power. That that is the title
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: of the lesson for today. So the backstory is as

  Speaker 1: Paul wrote the letter to Ephesians while in prison, yet
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: his words radiate hope, resolve. The early Christians, including their Phesians,
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: face uncertainty, cultural conflict, spiritual opposition. But Paul's message was clear.

  Speaker 1: His message provided real strength does not come from us,
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: but it comes from trusting God's inexhaustible power. It was

  Speaker 1: a rallying cry for those new believers not to depend
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: on their own might, but to let God be their

  Speaker 1: source in their shield, y'all, have many of you right

  Speaker 1: now or are feeling all different type of ways out

  Speaker 1: because we see so much going on in this world.

  Speaker 1: We we are we are facing uncertainties because we don't know,

  Speaker 1: we don't know what our current administration is doing. One

  Speaker 1: minute they're saying peace and then the next minute you
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: see bombs, So we really don't know what is going on.

  Speaker 1: So we are facing a time of uncertainty. We are
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: facing cultural conflict. If you look at how over the
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: last four hundred and twenty some odd years there has
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: been disparity amongst the black and brown people. If honestly,
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: as honestly as we can be, we have to be
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: honest with ourselves. The government could have been stepped in
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: and done something. But we see that. This is a
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: part of the word It says facing uncertainties, your conflict

  Speaker 1: and spiritual opposition because you have people that want to
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: come against this believer, thisbeliever disbeliever. When there's only one God.

  Speaker 1: There's only one God, and he is the source in
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: our shield. Y'all. Our strength comes from from Him, does
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: not come from us. It's beyond us. Our truest, deepest

  Speaker 1: strength is not found in our talents, in our intelligence,
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: y'all are our resources. Throughout the Bible, y'all, God shows

  Speaker 1: us the strongest when his people are meant that they're
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: weak and turn to him. Let me, let me give

  Speaker 1: you some scriptures. And second correcting is twelve nine and ten.

  Speaker 1: And said Paul Shares, how he pleaded with God to

  Speaker 1: remove his thorn in his fleet, but God replied, my

  Speaker 1: Many of our fiercest battles aren't just physical and emotion,

  Speaker 1: they are spiritual battles. Power. Written in Ephesian six and twelve,

  Speaker 1: he said, for our struggle, it's not against flesh and blood,

  Speaker 1: but against the powers of this dark world and against

  Speaker 1: spiritual forces of evil in heavenly rams. So when Joel

  Speaker 1: went through his ordeal, y'all, Joel suffered, and it wasn't

  Speaker 1: it wasn't just It wasn't just bad luck, as many

  Speaker 1: would say. It was the result of a spiritual battle

  Speaker 1: be patient, you did not sit and wait, he say,

  Speaker 1: prayer life, you should start your day with prayer. I

  Speaker 1: challenge you if you do not have a prayer life,

  Speaker 1: if you do not spend time with Him in the morning,

  Speaker 1: when you wake up, and at night before you lay down,

  Speaker 1: I challenge you to develop a prayer life with him

  Speaker 1: and watch what he do. Watch what he do. So

  Speaker 1: each day we should start by praying before you face

  Speaker 1: the rush of emails, deadlines, family needs. Take a sacred pause, y'all.

  Speaker 1: when threatened with death. He committed to a belief, and

  Speaker 1: can be a lot easier. Your day could be a

  Speaker 1: him to strengthen you and to give you wisdom to

  Speaker 1: operate and to maneuver throughout this day so that you

  Speaker 1: can handle whatever come at you, because y'all, we've already

  Speaker 1: been told in the Word that things are going to come,

  Speaker 1: because we know that this journey is not easy. He

  Speaker 1: didn't say it was gonna be easy, but he said

  Speaker 1: that he would he would lead the comforter with us.

  Speaker 1: He said he would never forsake us. So y'all, apply

  Speaker 1: it to your life. Begin with prayer, and then you

  Speaker 1: got to learn how to speak over your life, speak

  Speaker 1: your truth over your life. Over yourself. Speak to yourself, y'all,

  Speaker 1: when negative thoughts and self doubt creep in. Huh, you

  Speaker 1: gotta be able to speak to yourself and Psalms forty

  Speaker 1: two five he said, where he spoke to his soul,

  Speaker 1: reminding himself of God's faithfulness. Y'all, you got the power

  Speaker 1: to speak to yourself, to speak over yourself. Remind yourself

  Speaker 1: of God's word and what he can do. Instead of

  Speaker 1: agreeing with fear, declare that you are strong. Declare that

  Speaker 1: you have power, and know that you can do all

  Speaker 1: things through Christ that gives you strength. According to Philippians

  Speaker 1: four and thirteen, he said all things, y'all, when you're
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: faced with challenges, whether it's an interview, a presentation, a

  Speaker 1: family confrontation, a test that's coming up, whatever challenge you
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: may be faced, understand and remind yourself that God promised,

  Speaker 1: is his promise, and say it out loud. He said,

  Speaker 1: He will never leave you, nor for sake you. Then

  Speaker 1: we got to find us a support system. We got

  Speaker 1: to find those people that believe in the vision, that

  Speaker 1: will support the vision, trust the vision, and don't mind

  Speaker 1: pouring into the vision. So you have to surround yourself

  Speaker 1: with people that will support, y'all. Just as Moses needed

  Speaker 1: Aaron and her to hold his arms around the battle

  Speaker 1: over in Exodus seventeen. We need fellow believers who pray

  Speaker 1: with us, who can encourage, who would stand with us. Y'all.

  Speaker 1: You need to seek out some prayer partners or join

  Speaker 1: a Bible study group, so when you're feeling weak, you

  Speaker 1: can reach out and you can let others pour into you. Y'all.

  Speaker 1: The word say iron sharpened, iron, so one person sharpens
• 20:19
  Speaker 1: another person Proverbs twenty seven and seventeen. Y'all, we not

  Speaker 1: on this journey by ourselves. So I say to you

  Speaker 1: on today, you are not alone. You are not expected

  Speaker 1: to fight your battles by yourself. But you know that

  Speaker 1: you have the great I am the creator, the one

  Speaker 1: that created us, the one that has all power that

  Speaker 1: can operate within us. Paul wrote those words under the

  Speaker 1: Roman gud. Y'all, he was surrounded by adversity, yet overflowing

  Speaker 1: got to know that God's power will fill every gap.

  Speaker 1: you to be the change that you are called to be.

  Speaker 1: Be strong in the Lord, in his mighty power. Because

  Speaker 1: do not share why he brought you out, He saved you,

  Speaker 1: he set you free. But yet you will not share

  Speaker 1: what he's done for you. Have an opportunity for individuals

  Speaker 1: to be a part of a book where you can

  Speaker 1: share your testimony as being a survival. Yet I have

  Speaker 1: only three people signed up so far to be a
• 25:33
  Speaker 1: part of the book. But yet I know there's thousands

  Speaker 1: and thousands of people that watch me every day that

  Speaker 1: I know have a testimony that I know it wasn't God,

  Speaker 1: that it wasn't you that woke you up this morning.

  Speaker 1: But you know it was God that woke you up.

  Speaker 1: Some of us have been on our bed of afflictions,

  Speaker 1: and the enemy has told us that we will not

  Speaker 1: get up, that we be planning our funeral, that we

  Speaker 1: should be doing this, and we should be doing that.

  Speaker 1: But the God that we serve, we still here. We're

  Speaker 1: still here. But yet we sit down on the things

  Speaker 1: that God has done for us, y'all. I won't stop

  Speaker 1: telling my testimony. I will shout it from the mountaintops,

  Speaker 1: bits and pieces of it every day, because God has

  Speaker 1: been too good to me, y'all. He was better to
• 26:24
  Speaker 1: me than I could ever be to myself. He loved

  Speaker 1: me when I didn't even love myself, when I didn't

  Speaker 1: even know who I was or what I was if

  Speaker 1: I was going to coming. But He thought enough of

  Speaker 1: me because he knew that he needed me for this day.

  Speaker 1: He thought enough of me to get me together. And no,

  Speaker 1: by far, I am nowhere near perfect. I am perfectly flogged.

  Speaker 1: But every day I strive. Every day I want to

  Speaker 1: be more and more like the one that created me.

  Speaker 1: So every day I ask that the Creator that he

  Speaker 1: been on the wall for five years, standing on the wall,

  Speaker 1: trusting and believing that God's work is gonna come forth

  Speaker 1: and that He's gonna manifest in lives. There's over one

  Speaker 1: hundred people on our prayer list, and we call out

  Speaker 1: their names every day. Y'all. We watched people be delivered
• 27:36
  Speaker 1: of cancer. We will watch people be delivered of other diseases.

  Speaker 1: Ain't nothing that nobody told me. Something that I've witnessed

  Speaker 1: for myself. When you can get a phone call from

  Speaker 1: somebody and they tell you that they have bad news,

  Speaker 1: but then weeks later they can. You can get a

  Speaker 1: phone call from them and they say the doctor had

  Speaker 1: made a mistake, that they wasn't what they said. I

  Speaker 1: know the God that I serve. I won't sit down
