- 0:19SPEAKER_01: And now, here's Steve and Jeff.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Well, hey Johnny, thanks for getting us back into the show.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: It's great to be back in the studio, isn't it how you doing, Jeff?
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: I'm doing great, Steve.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: It was a really good week.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: We were celebrating my son-in-law's 40th big 44-0 birthday.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: And that was fun.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: We had it at a bar in Berwyn.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: Well, bar in Berwyn, I mean that sounds like there's going to be a lot of drinking there.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: And you know, Jeff, when you're young, like 40, you know.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Young people, young 40-year-olds do a lot of stupid stuff.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: You know, I mean, I remember celebrating my 40th.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: It wasn't in Berwin, it was the Duffies.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: You know, and I remember people wanted me to take 40 shots, you know, for my 40th.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: But you know, that's one of those youthful, stupid things.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean I when they said it's like, why just 40?
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, we're talking my birthday.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on, come on, you know.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And I know what you mean.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: I don't really drink.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: You know, I've never been much of a drinker.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: And for my 40th birthday, I celebrated by smoking 40 joints.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: That was a really good night, from what I remember.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: I think you told me about that.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: That was the night that you saw an apparition of the Hindu god Maya, and you learned the innate duality of existence, right?
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: That was that was a Maya's actually sitting right next to me now.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: So Yeah, yeah.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Is she in the room with us now?
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Yes, okay.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: She's been in the room ever since my 40th birthday.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: But we really digress, you know.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: When you you know, when you have a lot of drinking, and and trust me, I know drinking, and my mom, I grew up with it, you know, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when you when you have when you have a lot of drinking like that, people well, they get a lot more honest.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: And sometimes that honesty creates some problems.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: You know, now it happens most nights at my mom's, frankly, but did everybody behave at a dance party?
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: They did.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: A lot of drinking, yeah, and a lot of a lot of shots.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: And and you know, one of the reasons I don't drink anymore is because I I was having bad reactions to that.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I was I was having some hallucinations, and Dan talked me into having a couple more drinks.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: First time I've drank in a long time, and and you know, I would have preferred just smoke a joint and order a pizza, but he made me do some drinking.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: Mayan pizza, I bet too.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: So you hallucinated this time at that at the drinking?
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I think it's a hallucination.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: You know, those hallucinations are hard to tell.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: It's yeah, it's the hallucination in the room with you now.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: You know, well, Maya is, you know, and and yeah, but tell her hi.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Tell her she left some stuff here last time she was here.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: Tell her I, you know, I got the sorry, and I I got all the stuff.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: We're we're good.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's right.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: You never have to say you're sorry.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: So, but yes, it got crazy at the bar, and I think I was hallucinating, or at least I kind of hope I was.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: The bar Maya.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Wow, and you know, that sounds like a ranch in Wyoming, but I but I digress again.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Tell me what happened.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, so in this hallucination, which sounds very much like a dream, which sounds very much like our show.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Well, a dream is sort of a hallucination, it is an hallucination is sort of a lucid dream.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes, okay, all right, it's kind of a cousin to it.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: My hallucination started with having a drink with four of Dan's friends, and in the middle of having that drink, and I do remember having that drink with them, all of a sudden, this genie pops out of one of the beer bottles that the guy was drinking.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: That happened to me once at Milwaukee and Irving back in the 80s.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: What did you do?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I just kind of observed, you know, it's one of those hallucinations where you're sort of watching things happen like it's a movie, and fortunately the genie didn't say anything to me, but the genie turned to the four guys and she said, I'm gonna grant each of you one wish.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: So you did you get a wish?
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Doesn't sound like you got a whisk.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: No, I didn't, but I did have a really good pizza when I got home that night.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And that was Mayan, yeah.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Mayan pizza is great.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, yeah, it was it was just as good.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Anyways, the first guy who was black, he said to the genie, My native land has suffered from all the people who've been stolen away by slavery.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: And if I had my wish, I would return all of us back to Africa to start a new age of African success.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: As he was saying that, all of a sudden, poof, he was gone.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's like an automatic Roberts Court.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: It gives you meaning to shadow dock it, doesn't it?
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: So, anyway, so what happened after that?
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Well, then one of his other friends, who's a Mexican American, it was time for his wish, and he said, Well, my native land has suffered from all the people who've been running out of the country, you know, running from the drug cartels and all the corruption.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And if I had my wish, we would all go back to Mexico and start a new age of Mexican support.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: So did he disappear too?
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: And then poof, he disappeared too.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Wow, I think it was puff and he disappeared.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: It was a puff, yeah.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: It was more of a puff.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: I think I puffed and he disappeared.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: In South American Spanish, it's puff, but it's you know, it's kind of puff.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: And he went away.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's faster than ice.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's that's really something, you know.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Then it came to the third guy, and the third guy, Dan's friend, was a Jewish guy.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And the genie asked what he would like to come true, and he said, Well, my native land had my people chased out of it for thousands of years.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And I wish for all the all of my people to go back to Israel to start a new age of Israeli success.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: And poof, he was gone.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Hey, you know Harvard's gonna have to pay for that one.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And then it was just left with this last guy, and he, this white guy, and the genie turned him and said, What would you like to wish for?
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: And the white guy said, So let me get this straight.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: All the blacks, all the Mexicans, and all the Jews are gone.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: You know, just get me a diet coke and I'm good.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't know what that hallucination means.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: We should probably get an expert.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: You know, some would call it a nightmare, some would call it MAGA's wet dream.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: We might want to get one of our dream specialists to analyze it.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: We had several, but I did we have a German one that they might have a better slant on this, so to speak.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: But you know, speaking of speaking of blacks, Mexicans, and Jews, did you see that executive order from our king?
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, I know I need to be more specific.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: There's so many in one day.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: It was the one right after NBC's been mean to me and right before Sydney Sweeney wants me.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: I read it and I thought for a second that I was hallucinating, you know.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: I I actually started talking to Maya, you know, and that's and that hasn't happened since I chased gummies with Mezcal, which which is a good time, let me tell you.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Did you see that executive order?
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: I may have gotten it.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: I didn't read it, I just assumed that it was more of you know, like banning woke or you know, celebrating Putin's birthday as a national holiday or renaming Washington DC now that he's taken over the city.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: So I, you know, these executive orders they're they're just coming left and right.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I don't think I really saw that one.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: What was it about?
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it really is hard to keep up, but this executive order is about the new DEI.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: Now, you know, they've spent their entire their entire lives trying to do away with DEI, but then they realize that DEI, the diversity, equity, and inclusion actually are part of the culture and have an important role to play.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Now, they want to bring it back, but not you know, not the way it was.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: They're calling it DEI 2.0, MAGA style.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: So this is MAGA's version of DEI.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: So I, you know, I never thought they'd bring any DEI back, but here you are, a new version of DEI created by our king and his Project 2025 administration.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: The sole purpose of this is to celebrate our differences and incorporate our diverse backgrounds.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: This is what the order says.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Incorporate our diverse backgrounds and histories into our American culture.
- 8:26SPEAKER_01: Well, American culture as MAGA understands it.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Pretty pretty amazing executive order.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: I have to give him credit because he was you know, he basically got elected on the idea of DEI being evil along with woke and a few other letters of the alphabet.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: But here he is adapting, wanting to make it better, taking DEI and making it better.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm kind of interested.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm kind of interested to see what he comes up with.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: And when he said that it would be better in two weeks, or he'd give it two more weeks if it wasn't.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: We should go through this, but you know, it's it's basically like state-approved books and movies that promote the MAGA understanding of DEI.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: And you know, speaking of movies, did you see that they're doing a revival of an old Arthur Copett play?
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: But this time it's all about the Supreme Court summer retreat.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I can't wait to see this.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: It's called The Day the Horse Came Out to Play Tennis.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: But anyway, back to the list.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: What what do you see first?
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: It looks like I've got the list of some of the books.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they look like books.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: I uh maybe they're mixed up a little bit.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: You know, he was never real good at lists, yeah.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: I you know organized organization specificity, you know, reality facts.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Uh you know, yeah.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: So the first one that I see on the list, it has a description, and then it has you know what it's called.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: And the description is the saga of river travel in early America with a focus on smelly vermin.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: And the name of the book is Dykes, Dams, and Dems.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Well, well, that certainly covers a lot of water, doesn't it?
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Yes, it does.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: And I I think he's making some point of I don't know which one is the smelly vermin, but I think we probably all can uh take a guess what that is.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, it's not all political, it's also no you know, he's covering all this DEI, it's ethnic every area that you can imagine.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: So here's yeah, here's a book.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: It's called Story of a Busy Italian American Mother Who Has a Secret Sauce.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and the name of it is Where Does the Day Go?
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, that should be a whopping big hit.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Now maybe I'm getting it a little bit.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: I think so.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think you're getting it.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Do you think so?
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: I think so.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and the next one, this is one of those inspiring ones.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: The courageous effort to eliminate Japanese discrimination and basic gardening tips.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: And the name of it is Nip It in the Bud.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, we need inspiring stories like that.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: You want to take over this list a little bit and and uh go through some of them as well.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna kind of search down the list and see what my favorites are.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: There's so many of them, Steve.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, I know.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: I there are a ton of these.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's like they've been making these for years, just waiting for the right stooge, the right moron to put into the White House to do this through, you know, and and maybe they found him.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: But yeah, yeah, there's one here.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: Uh it's for trans people, it's a trans guide to making the cheerleading squad.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: It's called Sis Boom Bah.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: You know, controversial.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, oh, very much would be coed or uh, you know, I don't know in the new Trump era how that would work.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: You know, they're probably gonna need some kind of certificate though.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: And and of course, you know, somebody from the White House is gonna have to check.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: Because they like they like checking.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, they like checking.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: Here's a good one.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: This one is uh keeping the Latino Home Clean and Undocumented, and the name of it is Spickin' Spanish.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, very good.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: Yes, I like it.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: I think you're getting it, yeah.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: I like that very much.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: What do you see?
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: Well, there's one about a southern singer who starts the world's biggest bird sanctuary.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Uh it's called Polly Wanna Cracker.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: Or is a cracker.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Here's one.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: This one, I don't know.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: This one kind of makes me hungry after getting high.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: It's the story of an obese African American who wants to join MAGA, and it's called Double Stuffed Oreos.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, very good.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Love those, those are so good.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's after 40 joints.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: You're you're probably gonna want some of those.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: I tell you, man.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: One for every joint, or one for every joint, at least one.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: It's about that's about a box.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Got a roughly 40 in there, so we're you know, more or less.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, here's this is a good one.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: See, because the DEI really it's ethnic, but it's also all kinds of diversity.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: It includes psychological and mental issues.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: So here's a guide to raising ADHD kids.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: It's called in MAGA style.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: It's called Shut Up and Sit Down.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, yeah, I think we're getting it.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Here's one French guide to oral sex.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: So a little risque.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know if this has been approved yet.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: I don't know what they're thinking, but the name of the book is Frog in the Throat.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh, Macron is gonna love that one.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: Yes, absolutely.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Well, this one, you know, Southerners.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: There's a Southerner's guide to dating called Rednecking.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: I miss those days.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, too.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: And then this one actually feels like this one's somewhat familiar.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: It's called Deep Thoughts of a Jewish Uber Driver, and it's called Jubering.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: That's kind of interesting.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: You know, that really is quite a list, but uh, you know, there's so many more.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: There's a bunch of state-approved films and TV shows and movies.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, we really did see that.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Let me click on that too.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: Oh gosh, we should let our listeners see all the whole story here.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Here's one uh TV show uh with a Christian woman who rehabs houses in Miami called the Shiksa Fixa.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Ah, oh, oh, and this.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, and again, it it's all sorts of embracing inclusion.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: This is an LGBTQ plus tale of the Joppa, Missouri Tornadoes, uh called Blowing in the Wind.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I saw the original movie, it was it was great.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: Well, it's a remake, but that's that's Hollywood.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: What do you what do you want to do?
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, here's one where it it it kind of you know goes after that sensitive issue about history and the interpretation of it.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: It's a story of everything leading up to World War II without the bad stuff, and it's called The Rise of the Third Reich.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: Oh well, I think you're getting it.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, I think you are.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: I think we're getting it, actually.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're becoming a little more they're saying the quiet parts out loud because here here we've got a game show where the object is to find an African American, and the show is called Calling a Spade a Spade.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: I I think my they're saying the quiet part out loud here, you know?
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Here's one.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: This one's I I don't quite get this, but uh it's a movie about a soulless opportunist who had sex with living room furniture, and it's called Hillbilly Elogy.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: I don't know how do you pronounce that last word.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know if Hillbilly's known.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: Hillbilly elegy, yeah.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, elegy or yeah, maybe they'll do anything for a buck, won't they?
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: Jeez.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that seems unrealistic to me, but and I don't exactly know what you do with the furniture, but I'm sure if you watch the movie, it'll probably explain that.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: Well, I no, I'm sure it does.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's and this perfect timing for you know, one of the many wars that our king has stopped.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: What is it?
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: I think we're up to 10.
- 16:13unknown: Sure.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Now there have only been three, but he stopped 10.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: You see, we he stopped them before we even knew about him, right?
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, oh it's so quick, but but I digress.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Uh there's an Arab joke book for whoever can possibly survive Gaza.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: It's called uh camel jocularity.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, I bet that's hilarious.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: It'll be it's a rip-roar and a laugh riot, as Mad Magazine might have said back in the day.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, and here's one that I think maybe goes with the other one, which is everything good about the Civil War without the slavery parts.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: And the name of it is the rise of the South.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I guess I bet that's great.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, and I'm sure it talks about how slavery and meant full employment.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: So you know, things, hey, we only hear the bad stuff, right?
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: You know, come on.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Well, I think isn't that the main point here is that that you can't celebrate people's differences without separating them from other people that you don't want to be around.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Well, exactly.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: And what better way to celebrate the differences and the diversity than to pick on some other thing that is not you?
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's perfect.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: A good example here.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: There are two that are kind of related here.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: There's one Japanese American soap opera called the Gaijin Light.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: And you know, in the in the same vein.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: We got a movie about a Jewish girl from the suburbs who marries a man from Tokyo.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: It's called The Two Japs.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, yeah.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be a big hit in Highland Park, you know.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Here's one that I find very interesting because it's important, you know.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: A big I don't know if you know this, but a big part of the world's population is Indian.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, and yeah.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: So this one is a film about Indian immigrants waiting for admission, and it's there's a dedication to Nikki Haley, and it's called the dot headline.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Oh so I I think that's great.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't hear liberals shout out to the Indian population enough.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: So here's here's where that's you know the king's really focusing on that.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's exactly it.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: That's a direct communication to those those South Asian voters.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: And here, you know, this is you really can't start too young with getting people interested in diversity, equity, and inclusion MAGA style.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: You know, so they have the they have this children's book designed for African American children.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: Uh it's called The Back of the Bus is Fun.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: And it's got little pictures and people waving and smiling and you know, eating little snacks in the back of the bus.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: You know, uh it's not too early to teach them, you know.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: No, and again, you're taking what's liberals and uh uh democrats would complain about and you know be upset about, and you're turning it into a good thing.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: And that is exactly that's the goal to love America and love our history.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, and just right along those lines, and just like that Arthur Copit play, you know, there's there's a revival of the uh Eugene O'Neill play, and it's gonna be revived at the Harlem Theater.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: It's called Darkie at the top of the stairs.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: This is a whole new page in ethnic racial understanding in the United States.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: You know, it's just pivotal, it's a watershed event.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: It's it's also, I think, a good example of where you take somebody's diversity and you incorporate it into everyday life.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: And here's one that I'm talking about.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: It's a Filipino real estate show, and it's called Philip This, I guess it's Flip.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Phil be Flip, yeah.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Flip this house.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I guess you kind of say it either way, but you know, I think that's great.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: You know, the the Filipino population needed a shout out, and here they got one.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: Again, thinking about children, and it's never too early to start, and not only start teaching them about cultural things, but start teaching them about science.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: There's a kids' sci-fi show that's set in antebellum, Mississippi.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: It's called Uncle Tom's Dragon.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to see that.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Boy, my my yeah, my kids are like in their 30s, but they'll love that one.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Speaking of kids, being bilingual has I think a lot of people thought that Trump was against that, but he's not at all.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: So here's uh here's a dictionary for people who want to be bilingual.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: It's the the new Spanish dictionary, and it's called Gringo Lingo.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, that's perfect.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And it sounds like a kid's name too, so it's good for kids to get started and makes a lot of sense.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: It really does, you know.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: This is this is just it's such an important step in bringing back diversity and recognizing that diversity.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: And you know, I only hope that it continues to be recognized and and be valued.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: Now it sounds like maybe it's valued in no in a different way, perhaps, than maybe we thought or wanted, but you know, at least it they're they're bringing it back, and we can maybe work on the from the inside, and in seven, eight hundred years, maybe we can make th things a little better here.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: What do you think?
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: You know, well, different is doesn't mean bad.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: I I think that is that is really important.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: I I don't know if you saw this one.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: It's uh again, a lot of people think that our king wants to erase history, especially you know, black American history, but that's not true.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: So here he's got uh what appears to be a book on uh the real history of black America and It's called Buckwheat Memories.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: Well, there you go.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Doesn't it say it all?
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: I I think that says more than they really meant to say, you know.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: I feel so much better to know that our king is focusing on DEI.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: I I I I imagine he'll change the name.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: For now, I think he's calling it DEI 2.0, just so people kind of get the message.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: You got it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: But yeah, he'll he'll probably change it to something like ethnic slurs or something.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: You know.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: That would go with the transparency of this administration.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: You know, they want to be transparent, they want to be very clear what they're doing, and no hidden agenda, no hidden secrets.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: So yeah, they'll probably just call it ethnic slurs.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Well, and the Democrats and liberals have taken the word slur and made it a bad thing.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: And it's not, it's a good thing.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Slurs are fun.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Slurs, you know, they make you feel good, especially if it's not about you.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: Well, and you know, in music, if you're playing a stringed instrument, sometimes you slur the notes.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: That's not a bad thing, it's just a style, you know, it's a thing of doing after 40 joints.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: I slur.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: I slur words.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Uh huh.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: Slur is a good thing.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: You go to a 7-Eleven, you get a slurry, right?
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, those are good.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think there's gonna be lots of words that used to be viewed as as bad that are now good, now acceptable.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: You know, anti-Semitism, racism.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: Is it racism when you hate everybody?
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: I mean that's fairness.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're not you're not picking on any particular race, you just you just hate them all.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: And you don't hate them all for the same reason, you hate them based on who they are, which is diversity, respecting diversity.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: That's exactly it.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: And that also is the equity because you hate them the same.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: And they're treated the same, they're treated fairly because you hate them all the same, and that's the inclusion, too, because you're including everybody because you hate everybody, right?
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: This is a time where we can take away that sensitivity to treating people poorly.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: This could be an important new window to understanding people.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: This could be a huge step.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, just being able to use those ethnic slurs that will free up so many MAGA people.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Not like they were restrained much before, but you know, this will really make them feel free.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: And it'll be cleaning up, it'll be laundering.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: We'll have money and the pensions and yeah, that kind of stuff.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: We'll be able to identify exactly who is aligned with everyone else, and we'll find that what used to be considered to be offensive is actually quite wonderful.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Well, absolutely, Jeff.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: And thinking about what people thought was offensive and what people thought was beyond the pale when we were kids.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, please, that's like Tuesday afternoon in the park these days, you know.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's nothing, right?
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: And when you say pale, you mean white.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, well, yeah.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, but yeah, you know, I don't see any jokes about white people on here.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: So there were a few.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: There were a couple of those southerner jokes, you know.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Well, oh, there's this one.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Actually, there actually there is one that we missed that we uh that does you know it's it's a movie about white people who are seeking romantic matches across ethnic lines.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: It's called uh honky horny.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: So see, they do have some.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: That's just a token.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, okay.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: You know, movie.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: I thought Jamie Lee Curtis might be in it, but I don't know.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Anyways, oh yeah.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: So well, she might be, yeah.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: So I think this is great.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: So I feel so much better, and I can't wait for next month because I I guess we're gonna get these coming fast and furious, right?
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: The zone needs to be so heavily flooded to keep people from realizing the truth.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: We think we've seen zone flooding before.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: Oh boy, zone flooding is gonna get even worse because somebody is on some list in some file that is not gonna look good if you know what I mean.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: I think I know what you mean.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: I do, I do.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: So, and that'll be some good reading if that ever comes out.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it'll be I met with redacted and redacted, redacted, redacted, redacted, and he was with redacted.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's uh it'll it'll be fascinating.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, it'll be perfect.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: I can't wait.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: I'm just so excited that we're we're turning this corner in helping people understand each other.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: It's just it's just a beautiful thing.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: It's you know, kind of like that old song, Everything Is Beautiful in its own way, you know.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: Or that song, The World is a Ghetto.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Well, that too.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: I think that was the inspiration for his inauguration speech.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: But I digress.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: Johnny, listen, Johnny, can you possibly get us out of this show?
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: Right, Steve.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: This has been a xenophobia production in association with clan bank media.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: Read all about Steven Jeff at their website, stepenjeff.com.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: This is Johnny speaking.
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: I feel locked out of this new DEI 2.0.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: See, I'm Polish, and they didn't have any new books or movies about Polish people.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: And we have suffered just like everyone else.
- 27:41SPEAKER_02: I did in particular.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: See, my father was a Polish locksmith, so.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: Good night.
