- 0:00Speaker 1: I'll start Toyota Presents off the Bench with Jacob Hester
- 0:03Speaker 1: and Matt Flynn and Hester.
- 0:05Speaker 2: And Hester got it five little pot.
- 0:08Speaker 1: From carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each
- 0:11Speaker 1: other on the air.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Where there's proud control.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Kine Studio.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It's off the bench, all right, welcome back here and
- 1:02Speaker 2: now number three of ot B here live from the
- 1:06Speaker 2: Raizycines Studio. Always a pleasure to welcome on our next guest,
- 1:12Speaker 2: Connor O Geret Saturday down South joins us. Now, mister Garret,
- 1:16Speaker 2: how are we doing as we get ready for Turkey
- 1:19Speaker 2: Day tomorrow?
- 1:20Speaker 4: I'm doing really well. You know. I love this week.
- 1:23Speaker 4: I think it's, you know, just such a fun experience
- 1:26Speaker 4: we get in college football to have Black Friday, which
- 1:28Speaker 4: has now become just a musty day in the college
- 1:31Speaker 4: football calendar. And I'm you know, doing all my pod
- 1:34Speaker 4: prep breaking down all these matchups, and I'm legitimately looking
- 1:37Speaker 4: forward to so many of these games, whether they have
- 1:40Speaker 4: playoff implications or not.
- 1:42Speaker 2: All right, which one are we looking forward to the most?
- 1:45Speaker 5: Then?
- 1:47Speaker 4: The Iron Bowl this year is just it's perfect. It's
- 1:51Speaker 4: so fitting right now to be at this point with
- 1:55Speaker 4: what's at stake for Alabama? Obviously, you know we were
- 1:57Speaker 4: told going into the twelfth team playoff era, you know,
- 2:00Speaker 4: regular season games just not going to matter as much.
- 2:03Speaker 4: You cannot overstate the importance of this game for kaaln
- 2:06Speaker 4: de Borr, who is going into this one knowing that
- 2:09Speaker 4: if he loses, his team will be out of the
- 2:11Speaker 4: College Football Playoff. Yet if he wins, his team is
- 2:15Speaker 4: going to Atlanta, and you're in theory still still probably
- 2:19Speaker 4: going to have a chance to get a first round
- 2:20Speaker 4: by in the College Football Playoff. And so the Alabama
- 2:25Speaker 4: is going team that has that type of variability left,
- 2:28Speaker 4: and so you're going into this house of horrors place,
- 2:31Speaker 4: which has been historically the case for Alabama. But you know,
- 2:34Speaker 4: you look at recent history and Alabama has just been
- 2:36Speaker 4: the team that has found a way to win at
- 2:37Speaker 4: your Air. They haven't lost there since twenty nineteen. So
- 2:40Speaker 4: I look at that matchup and the fact that Auburn
- 2:43Speaker 4: is now you know, got the five wins, They're playing
- 2:46Speaker 4: in a different way than they did with Hugh Freeze,
- 2:48Speaker 4: and they're kind of playing with house money at this point.
- 2:50Speaker 4: So it's just kind of the perfect rivalry weekend setting
- 2:55Speaker 4: for a game that's going to have a standalone spotlight
- 2:57Speaker 4: in the SEC to close out the regular season slate.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean Darren Bowls always to get to keep
- 3:03Speaker 2: someing giving, and certainly when it's played in that place.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So I'm right there with you. How could you not
- 3:07Speaker 2: be excited about that? What I'll tell you what another
- 3:09Speaker 2: game that I'm excited about is Vanderbilt in Tennessee. This
- 3:14Speaker 2: was going to be in neland in Knoxville. I mean,
- 3:16Speaker 2: Vanderbilt's got a chance to do something pretty special now.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I know because of where they sit right now doesn't
- 3:22Speaker 2: necessarily guarantee them a playoff spot, which is wild. We
- 3:25Speaker 2: just always thought any ten and two SEC team would
- 3:29Speaker 2: get into the college football playoff. But look, if they win,
- 3:32Speaker 2: they still have a great opportunity. And we've been doing
- 3:36Speaker 2: this a long time together, Connor, I never thought we'd
- 3:38Speaker 2: be talking about the potential of Vanderbilt winning and getting
- 3:41Speaker 2: maybe a playoff spot.
- 3:44Speaker 4: It is crazy, and I like my I if I'm
- 3:47Speaker 4: a Vanderbilt fan, I'm going into this one kind of
- 3:49Speaker 4: putting the playoff out of sight, out of mind, because
- 3:52Speaker 4: there's enough meat on that bone. Yes, Thanksgiving pun very
- 3:55Speaker 4: much intended to look at this matchup and still be
- 3:58Speaker 4: really excited about what's at If your team is able
- 4:01Speaker 4: to win, you have a guy that is trying to
- 4:03Speaker 4: get to New York, which I think Diego Pobby is
- 4:05Speaker 4: a very good chance of doing that. You're going into
- 4:08Speaker 4: a place that, you know, let's be honest, has been
- 4:11Speaker 4: a really difficult venue for your program for a very
- 4:15Speaker 4: long period of time, and you're trying to show what
- 4:18Speaker 4: Diego Pavi has said, I'm busting with the boys in
- 4:20Speaker 4: the off season, that you're going to run the state
- 4:21Speaker 4: of Tennessee. You can do all of these things and
- 4:25Speaker 4: kind of add to this Tennessee misery and close out
- 4:28Speaker 4: this chapter of Vanderbilt football in such a fun way.
- 4:32Speaker 4: And to me, that's not to say that the playoff
- 4:35Speaker 4: stuff is irrelevant, but there's still so much joy in that,
- 4:38Speaker 4: and there could still be so many great memories that
- 4:41Speaker 4: are made for this van football program. If you're able
- 4:43Speaker 4: to win a game like that in Knoxville, and knowing
- 4:46Speaker 4: that your program hasn't won nine regular season games since
- 4:49Speaker 4: the Woodrow Wilson administration, you've already been able to check
- 4:52Speaker 4: that box. And so I just think that if we
- 4:55Speaker 4: focus on strictly the playoff, you're probably doing it wrong
- 4:58Speaker 4: from the bandy side.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, gosh, I wanted to get in. I
- 5:03Speaker 2: wanted to get in so bad. I think it'd be
- 5:05Speaker 2: such a great story in Clark Lee and Diego Pavi
- 5:07Speaker 2: and just everything that they've done there. So they might
- 5:10Speaker 2: need some things in front of them. Whether we agree
- 5:13Speaker 2: with that or disagree with that, So we'll see how
- 5:15Speaker 2: that all plays out. All right, let's go ahead and
- 5:17Speaker 2: do it. Let's get to Norman. Oklahoma. LSUE versus Oklahoma
- 5:22Speaker 2: Connor feels like a very bad matchup for the places
- 5:24Speaker 2: that LSU struggling. Oklahoma is elite. Now Lshu's defense, I
- 5:29Speaker 2: think gives them an opportunity to try to pull off
- 5:32Speaker 2: some crazy upset because Oklahoma's offense is not exactly world
- 5:37Speaker 2: beaters either. This feels like it could be a good
- 5:40Speaker 2: old two thousand and six fourteen to ten game.
- 5:44Speaker 4: This is an Iowa game. This is really I mean,
- 5:48Speaker 4: the over under thirty six and a half points.
- 5:51Speaker 2: It just keeps going down to Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 4: And look, I'm even surprised it's still that high. Like
- 5:58Speaker 4: if this ends up at like thirty four points, it's
- 6:00Speaker 4: not going to stun me because yeah, I mean twenty
- 6:02Speaker 4: four to ten. You ne'd easily picture that. You're like, oh, wow,
- 6:04Speaker 4: Oklahoma's gonna score three touchdowns. Maybe maybe not. You know
- 6:08Speaker 4: how hard it is to be a double digit underdog
- 6:10Speaker 4: with a spread that low. I mean, it's it's star
- 6:13Speaker 4: near impossible to have an over under that low. I
- 6:15Speaker 4: would say, yeah, it is truly stunning to think about
- 6:19Speaker 4: how much this LSU offense has struggled. I know it's
- 6:22Speaker 4: very well documented on your airwaves, but it's going into
- 6:26Speaker 4: a hornet's nest. That's what the Oklahoma defense has been
- 6:28Speaker 4: because early on they couldn't force any turnovers. There was
- 6:31Speaker 4: one time where they went into that Kent State game
- 6:33Speaker 4: is the only FBS team that hadn't forced a turnover yet,
- 6:36Speaker 4: which was baffling for a defense that good. And in
- 6:39Speaker 4: the last three games where they've beat nothing but ap
- 6:41Speaker 4: tops twenty five teams, they've got an eight to two
- 6:45Speaker 4: advantage in the turnover margin, so they've been able to
- 6:47Speaker 4: do that. They've been able to get the chunk plays
- 6:49Speaker 4: with Isaiah Satania and John Metier is going to be
- 6:52Speaker 4: relied on a ton in this game. This is an
- 6:54Speaker 4: empty the tank game. For John Mattier and what is
- 6:57Speaker 4: the Blake Baker defense struggled with historically mobile quarterbacks, and
- 7:01Speaker 4: so that's why I think this is a difficult matchup
- 7:03Speaker 4: for LSU. And yes, all the pressure in the world
- 7:06Speaker 4: is on Oklahoma Brent Vnables, Right, you cannot lose this
- 7:09Speaker 4: game to an interim coach, with an LSU team that
- 7:12Speaker 4: has had all all of its hopes and aspirations wiped
- 7:14Speaker 4: off the table. You cannot ruin your playoff path with
- 7:17Speaker 4: a home loss like this. I don't think that ends
- 7:20Speaker 4: up happening though, And I think it's too difficult to
- 7:21Speaker 4: have a matchup for LSU. They need a non offensive
- 7:24Speaker 4: touchdown and maybe a miracle to win this game.
- 7:27Speaker 2: All right, Well, let's get outside of the game that's
- 7:29Speaker 2: coming up, because you know, LSU is going to have
- 7:32Speaker 2: to play its very best, I think, to get the
- 7:34Speaker 2: victory there in Norman. But let's just look at LSU
- 7:37Speaker 2: moving forward. What is your take on all the craziness
- 7:41Speaker 2: that's going on surrounding the you know, potential new LSU
- 7:45Speaker 2: head coach, whoever that might be, be it Lane Kiffen
- 7:48Speaker 2: or someone else. It's always great to get an outside perspective.
- 7:51Speaker 2: On this because obviously, like boots on the ground here,
- 7:53Speaker 2: you're hearing every single rumor what do you think at
- 7:57Speaker 2: the end of the day Connor.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Happens, LSU thinks they have Lane Kiffin. Now, whether or
- 8:03Speaker 4: not that's going to be the case, I would not
- 8:06Speaker 4: bet my life on that whatsoever. I'm still on record thing.
- 8:10Speaker 4: I think Lane returns, but LSU seems to think that
- 8:14Speaker 4: that Lane is indeed going to be theirs. And you know,
- 8:16Speaker 4: if this Eli Drinkowitz deal happens, to me, that would
- 8:20Speaker 4: be more confirmation that Lane is leaving, because I would
- 8:24Speaker 4: tend to think that if if Lane isn't going to
- 8:27Speaker 4: be going to LSU, that that would be the place
- 8:29Speaker 4: that ultimately LSU would want to turn. We've talked about
- 8:31Speaker 4: this before, but to me, I think there are so
- 8:35Speaker 4: many dominoes that are waiting to fall with this Lane
- 8:37Speaker 4: Kiffin situation. And if we do actually get this announcement
- 8:41Speaker 4: twenty four hours after the egg Bowl was played, and
- 8:45Speaker 4: we're you know, we're aware of where he's going to
- 8:48Speaker 4: end up by Saturday morning, then I think everybody else
- 8:50Speaker 4: is going to look around all this time. These moves
- 8:52Speaker 4: are going to start happening left and right, But man,
- 8:54Speaker 4: it sure seems like LSU feels like it has Link Kiff.
- 8:57Speaker 4: And now I had talked to people that felt like
- 9:00Speaker 4: Florida had had Lane in the bag and like there
- 9:02Speaker 4: was a better chance than not that he was gonna
- 9:04Speaker 4: end up there on some historic contract. I think what's
- 9:07Speaker 4: very clear is that Lane is not going to be
- 9:09Speaker 4: picking these places for money. It feels like the money
- 9:11Speaker 4: is going to be the same at all of these,
- 9:13Speaker 4: you know, these three schools that he's considering. But man,
- 9:16Speaker 4: everything that it seems like is coming out makes it
- 9:19Speaker 4: seem like LSU feels like it has the best chance
- 9:21Speaker 4: to land Lane Kiffin.
- 9:23Speaker 2: All right, And you still think your gut though that
- 9:25Speaker 2: he goes back to old miss Yeah, I do.
- 9:28Speaker 4: And maybe that's dumb, and you know, I'm gonna maybe
- 9:31Speaker 4: I'll just go down on the Titanic with that one.
- 9:33Speaker 4: But like you can just picture this, You can picture
- 9:36Speaker 4: this announcement coming on Saturday morning and maybe it's Lane
- 9:40Speaker 4: going on college game day and it's Keith Carter in
- 9:43Speaker 4: the background, and Lane just does a very Lane thing
- 9:45Speaker 4: to announce I'm not going anywhere. I'm coming back. This
- 9:48Speaker 4: was always the plan. That's that shouldn't surprise anyone at
- 9:51Speaker 4: this point, even if he's made these people, these decision makers,
- 9:54Speaker 4: feel like he's ending up at their school, but it's
- 9:57Speaker 4: just all very Lane. It is so Lane, this entire process,
- 10:02Speaker 4: and it could end in a very Lane way, and
- 10:04Speaker 4: maybe even new Lane is actually deciding he wants a
- 10:07Speaker 4: heroes welcome, and he wants here in the hero's return,
- 10:10Speaker 4: and he wants to be able to come back to
- 10:12Speaker 4: Oxford knowing that he considered these possibilities, but ultimately he's
- 10:16Speaker 4: found his forever home at Old Miss.
- 10:19Speaker 2: All Right, If Lane given does stay at Old Miss,
- 10:22Speaker 2: which is certainly a possibility, where do you think Lsu goes.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I would think that it's that it's still on the
- 10:30Speaker 4: table for Kenny Dillingham. I would think that that's still
- 10:35Speaker 4: an option because I know that they've talked about, you know,
- 10:38Speaker 4: getting him a new contract, and he's told recruits like
- 10:41Speaker 4: he's coming back and everything. I think he's too good
- 10:44Speaker 4: of a coach to just you know, say, ah, you
- 10:47Speaker 4: know what. I guess. I guess he likes it there.
- 10:48Speaker 4: I guess we won't you know, kick the tires at all.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I think even if you're at home, and even if
- 10:53Speaker 4: you're a place where you feel like this is this
- 10:56Speaker 4: is my job. I you know, I owe so much
- 10:57Speaker 4: to this university. I do think that they're still a
- 11:00Speaker 4: few of those jobs that you consider. And I can't
- 11:02Speaker 4: help but think that Kenny Dillingham would love the possibility
- 11:05Speaker 4: of going to a big time place like LSU. I can't.
- 11:08Speaker 4: I look at his situation right now and think that
- 11:11Speaker 4: he's got total alignment there and that would be all
- 11:13Speaker 4: well and good. But you know, it's a very different
- 11:15Speaker 4: recruiting in the recruiting pool that LSU has to work
- 11:18Speaker 4: with as opposed to one that he has at Tempee,
- 11:19Speaker 4: And I just think that that he would be the
- 11:21Speaker 4: one that LSU would want to just essentially push all
- 11:24Speaker 4: the chips into the middle and say, let's go on
- 11:26Speaker 4: and get him, especially if you like Drinkawits ultimately wants
- 11:29Speaker 4: to stay at Miszoo. So I think that they would
- 11:31Speaker 4: still be swinging big. But you know, everything is going
- 11:34Speaker 4: to feel like a loss for whoever doesn't end up
- 11:36Speaker 4: with Blane Kiffin.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you're probably right about that. I mean, just because
- 11:40Speaker 2: you've you know, pushed all your chips to the middle
- 11:42Speaker 2: of the table there, so if you don't then there's
- 11:44Speaker 2: going to be at least a little bit of a
- 11:45Speaker 2: time period where you have some disappointment, even though you
- 11:48Speaker 2: know this. I think Kenny Dillingham is an absolute star
- 11:52Speaker 2: and I think any team would be lucky to have him.
- 11:54Speaker 2: So we'll see where that ends up. What about Florida?
- 11:57Speaker 2: What about the Gators? If they don't get Lane Kiffin?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Where do you think the Gators go? And also it
- 12:02Speaker 2: is so quiet on the planes, which is never quiet there,
- 12:06Speaker 2: and right it's I don't know. I'm kind of nervous about,
- 12:11Speaker 2: like what's going to happen. They're nervous because I think
- 12:13Speaker 2: they actually might be doing it the right way.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Jake, I think that this ends up with John
- 12:19Speaker 4: Summraw at Auburn. I'll until i'm told that he's not
- 12:24Speaker 4: going to that job, I'm going to assume he's going
- 12:27Speaker 4: to that job. And I think the meeting called off
- 12:29Speaker 4: with Florida. You know, it was never on the table,
- 12:31Speaker 4: it was it was whatever. I think that ultimately we're
- 12:34Speaker 4: going to see a relatively straightforward path. Dare I say
- 12:38Speaker 4: to Auburn hiring a football coach, what a crazy concept?
- 12:42Speaker 4: And really Florida? Yeah, you know, I just talked about
- 12:44Speaker 4: Kenny Dillingham leaving home and potentially ending up at lsuflas
- 12:48Speaker 4: who doesn't get link Kiffin. I think bran Kee could
- 12:51Speaker 4: still end up at Florida. I really do. And I
- 12:53Speaker 4: know that last week was really really rough to watch
- 12:56Speaker 4: the way that it ended for Georgia Tech. Their their
- 12:58Speaker 4: potential playoff push. They can still some chaos and get
- 13:00Speaker 4: to the ACC Championship early as that. But I still
- 13:03Speaker 4: think that Scott Strickland is enambered by Brent Keeth. And
- 13:07Speaker 4: I do think that a guy making four and a
- 13:09Speaker 4: half million bucks, there is still going to be a
- 13:13Speaker 4: real appeal for him to want to go to a
- 13:15Speaker 4: state that he spent a lot of time in and
- 13:18Speaker 4: he can say all he wants, you know, cut me
- 13:20Speaker 4: open and see what colors I bleed. I think that's
- 13:23Speaker 4: all well and good. But until you say I'm coming back,
- 13:26Speaker 4: I'm not going anywhere. I still think that that's on
- 13:28Speaker 4: the table. And I still think that Florida would be
- 13:31Speaker 4: willing to come over the top to get a coach
- 13:32Speaker 4: like him, So I think that that's where they would
- 13:35Speaker 4: turn if ultimately they're they're on the outside looking in
- 13:38Speaker 4: at the lane. Kiff and sweepstakes.
- 13:40Speaker 2: All right, if Lane Kiffin stays at Ole miss, LSU
- 13:43Speaker 2: gets Kenny Dillingham, and Auburn gets John Summer, all ranked
- 13:47Speaker 2: those one through three, Oh man, I.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Think it's dialing if you could. If you get dilling
- 13:56Speaker 4: Ham to LSU, that's one. That's one. To me, I
- 13:59Speaker 4: would probably still go with Summer on at two, and
- 14:03Speaker 4: I'd consider him at one. I really do think he's
- 14:06Speaker 4: that good. Like he's fifteen to three and one score games,
- 14:08Speaker 4: Like he just seems to be a guy that kind
- 14:10Speaker 4: of gets it. I love that he comes out here
- 14:12Speaker 4: and does the thing that nobody's willing to do and say,
- 14:14Speaker 4: you know, instead of saying his team deserves a shot
- 14:17Speaker 4: at the college football playoff, he's like, you know, if
- 14:19Speaker 4: we're the highest ranked group of five team, that's saying
- 14:21Speaker 4: a lot about the group of five because we're not
- 14:22Speaker 4: a good enough team.
- 14:23Speaker 2: To warnt that.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I just like, I love that man, Like I think
- 14:27Speaker 4: he just kind of gets it. And I do think
- 14:29Speaker 4: that that there are going to be people that look
- 14:32Speaker 4: back on this cycle in wonder Man, with John Sumrall,
- 14:34Speaker 4: the Dan Lanning that was just sitting right there that
- 14:36Speaker 4: he kind of could have had and instead he ends
- 14:39Speaker 4: up doing great things at a place like Auburn. So
- 14:41Speaker 4: and that's not to discount bran Key, because I do
- 14:43Speaker 4: think that would be a fantastic higher for Florida with
- 14:46Speaker 4: the type of identity that he's been able to bring
- 14:48Speaker 4: the Georgia Tech, the fact that he just every single time,
- 14:51Speaker 4: you know, stares down Kirby Smart in these games and
- 14:54Speaker 4: makes them fistfights. Like I just tend to think that
- 14:56Speaker 4: Brent key Is is going to have a lot more success,
- 14:59Speaker 4: you know, and the the rest of the decade with
- 15:01Speaker 4: whatever he hands up. So I would probably go that
- 15:04Speaker 4: order one through three. But there's not a whole lot
- 15:06Speaker 4: of separation between those three guys in my opinion.
- 15:09Speaker 2: All Right, there is our guy, Connor ghera Saturday down south,
- 15:12Speaker 2: good enough to join us here, Connor, fantastic stuff as always.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Enjoy the holiday, sir with your family.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Thanks man, we'll talk so all right.
- 15:20Speaker 2: We will step away here. I always appreciate Connor's time,
- 15:22Speaker 2: by the way, I bet you I don't even notice.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I bet I'm talking to him on off campus today
- 15:27Speaker 2: as well. But we get to go outside of the
- 15:30Speaker 2: normal conversation there. We got our guy chef Michael Johnson
- 15:35Speaker 2: set to join us munch. He's on a Wednesday. That's
- 15:37Speaker 2: always a good thing. We might have to put together
- 15:40Speaker 2: a pontoon parlay before we get out of here. Dad,
- 15:42Speaker 2: I didn't even think.
- 15:43Speaker 6: About it being the same. I was gonna ask y'all
- 15:44Speaker 6: if y'all want to do one today.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I think we need to. Let's do we can
- 15:49Speaker 2: do the Thanksgiving games and maybe like the Friday games
- 15:52Speaker 2: that way, like you can kind of keep it tight there.
- 15:54Speaker 2: So we've got a lot still coming your way. Stay
- 15:56Speaker 2: locked in here with us. It is OTB Live from
- 15:59Speaker 2: the Raising Studio.

- 18:53Speaker 1: segment hungry. This is Monkeys with executive chef Michael Johnson.
- 19:02Speaker 2: All right, chef, what's going on? How you doing?
- 19:04Speaker 5: Hey, living sir, I'm good brother, I'm an ok see
- 19:07Speaker 5: right now?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Oh you're all ready? I got you all right? Nice
- 19:12Speaker 2: planning ahead, already getting ready for the game against Oklahoma.
- 19:16Speaker 2: All right, all right, yeah, I guess that's true. You
- 19:18Speaker 2: got to maybe get there a little bit early since
- 19:20Speaker 2: it's a new spot that we haven't played.
- 19:22Speaker 5: At well, you know, usually we have our meetings on
- 19:25Speaker 5: Thursday and Thanksgiving Thursday. So we're meeting on Wednesday today
- 19:29Speaker 5: just to get everything sorted through, and we'll have a
- 19:32Speaker 5: we have a skip day and then game on.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Looking forward to it, looking forward to getting there, on
- 19:38Speaker 2: going to be there Saturday morning, and you know, a
- 19:42Speaker 2: great opportunity for the Tigers. All right. So who's holding
- 19:45Speaker 2: it down back in ban Rouge for maybe Thanksgiving?
- 19:48Speaker 8: Me?
- 19:48Speaker 2: Because I don't know if y'all still do it the
- 19:50Speaker 2: same way, Chef. When we were playing, we used to
- 19:55Speaker 2: have like an early practice that morning, and then for
- 19:58Speaker 2: the guys that weren't from like an hour away, they
- 20:00Speaker 2: would always host like a big Thanksgiving meal for us.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Yeah, that's exactly what's happening. Yeah, Chef, Run's back there, my,
- 20:07Speaker 5: you know, the whole team's back there. On Thanksgiving Day,
- 20:10Speaker 5: we kind of go down to a skeleton crew of
- 20:12Speaker 5: people who are willing to do the work and not
- 20:14Speaker 5: force people to work on Thanksgiving. But you know, everybody's
- 20:17Speaker 5: always happy to do it. They get it. It's a
- 20:19Speaker 5: special day to be close to the athletes.
- 20:23Speaker 2: All right, Chef, Let's go ahead and make your before
- 20:27Speaker 2: we get to the munchies. Questions let's get to your
- 20:30Speaker 2: ideal Thanksgiving plate. Right you're making it. You know, football
- 20:34Speaker 2: is on. You know, you've got a recliner with your
- 20:37Speaker 2: name on it. What is going on? Chef Michael Johnson's
- 20:40Speaker 2: perfect Thanksgiving plate?
- 20:42Speaker 5: Oh man, that's tough, you know. Obviously it's kind of
- 20:46Speaker 5: has some golden roasted turkey on there, not dried, you know,
- 20:49Speaker 5: like baby bear, just perfect. Yeah, gotta have some mashed
- 20:52Speaker 5: potatoes on there, for sure. I like green bean castrole
- 20:55Speaker 5: with the fried onions and oh yeah, I have this.
- 20:57Speaker 5: I had this new thing I found Frid Hallapain is
- 21:00Speaker 5: I like to put in my green back green being
- 21:01Speaker 5: cast rolled it. They complimented very well. Probably some probably
- 21:07Speaker 5: some pumpkin pie somewhere, you know, on the side, maybe
- 21:10Speaker 5: on the plate even you know, Gosh, I don't know.
- 21:15Speaker 5: I like I like corn bread and corn bread cast
- 21:18Speaker 5: roll uh over, like oyster cast roll or stuffing, you
- 21:22Speaker 5: know what I mean. So I don't know. I think
- 21:25Speaker 5: all those things are going to be on the plate.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Some gravy for sure, lots of lots of brown gravy.
- 21:30Speaker 5: I'm a brown gravy guy, not a white gravy guy.
- 21:34Speaker 5: I don't know. I think you're gonna have some sweet
- 21:36Speaker 5: pieces in there too, man. I mean, if you got room,
- 21:38Speaker 5: it's gonna be a big plate, you know, probably probably piled.
- 21:43Speaker 2: As it absolutely should be. Chef, all right, let's see
- 21:49Speaker 2: hashtag munchies. How do you feel about ribbi being served
- 21:54Speaker 2: on Thanksgiving instead of turkey?
- 21:59Speaker 5: I cut out there, I'm sorry.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you feel about ribbi being served on
- 22:05Speaker 2: Thanksgiving instead of turkey?
- 22:07Speaker 5: Oh? I'm damn brother.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 5: You know what's funny is I did that one Thanksgiving
- 22:11Speaker 5: and my son he was he was it was probably
- 22:13Speaker 5: six or eight years ago, and he was quite a
- 22:15Speaker 5: bit younger, and he he was quite upset that he
- 22:17Speaker 5: wasn't getting turkey on the given days we're eating cow?
- 22:21Speaker 8: What is this?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 22:24Speaker 5: Yeah, he's he's he's grown to appreciate it.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Though, Chef. What is the difference? I think there's an
- 22:32Speaker 2: obvious difference, but I don't know. I'm gonna ask the
- 22:34Speaker 2: question anyway. What is the difference between sweet potato casse
- 22:37Speaker 2: role and carrots? Who flay? Is different?
- 22:41Speaker 5: Yeah? Well, I mean sweet potata sweet ptata casserole can
- 22:44Speaker 5: can come in many different forms, right, and charrishy play
- 22:47Speaker 5: you take care, you take the cars puree of it
- 22:49Speaker 5: down and with a lot of sugar and the little
- 22:52Speaker 5: cream into him so that the hold like an air
- 22:55Speaker 5: structure inside of it, right, And so that way when
- 22:57Speaker 5: you bake it, it kind of lists and and and elevates.
- 23:01Speaker 5: And that's the soupfl a piece of it. But I mean,
- 23:05Speaker 5: the essential ingredients are just about the same. It's the
- 23:08Speaker 5: process in which you handle it is the primary difference.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Never knew that, never knew that there was. I don't know,
- 23:16Speaker 2: never knew there was. Which one? Do you prefer karrisu
- 23:18Speaker 2: Fla or sweep Tata Cassrow.
- 23:20Speaker 5: I'm a soupfl a guy, just because there's more work
- 23:22Speaker 5: that goes into it. I appreciate the hands of the
- 23:24Speaker 5: chef there, the person that's the go so that's making it.
- 23:27Speaker 5: You know, it's it's just an elevated dish.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I think hashtag munchies. How does a Scotch egg made
- 23:34Speaker 2: with boudan sound?
- 23:36Speaker 5: Oh, I'd eat it any Put the bootan with anything
- 23:38Speaker 5: and I'll eat it. Man, It's Scotch Eggs are not
- 23:40Speaker 5: going to be the exception for me.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Hashtag munchies. You need to try crawfish boiling a turkey,
- 23:49Speaker 2: ever heard of that.
- 23:50Speaker 5: No, no crawfish boil.
- 23:53Speaker 2: In a I guess like you like the same thing
- 23:55Speaker 2: that you would do, same spice, the same everything, if
- 23:59Speaker 2: you drop the turkey instead of the crawfish.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I don't know about boiling a turkey, but I could
- 24:04Speaker 5: be putting that spice on a turkey and maybe like
- 24:08Speaker 5: plumping it a little bit and then frying it, you know,
- 24:11Speaker 5: or injecting it with the with the crawfish boil spice.
- 24:14Speaker 5: I think that would be interesting.
- 24:15Speaker 2: You know, all right, hashtag munchies. What seasoning do you
- 24:20Speaker 2: have to bring with you when you travel just in
- 24:23Speaker 2: case you can't find it?
- 24:25Speaker 4: Oh?
- 24:25Speaker 5: Man, that's a good one, you know. Fresh Marjoram is
- 24:28Speaker 5: something that I absolutely love. And if you can't ever
- 24:31Speaker 5: find it, it's not at the store. It's you know,
- 24:33Speaker 5: it's never anywhere you'd need it. And if I'm making
- 24:36Speaker 5: a red sauce and there's this, there's certain there's certain
- 24:39Speaker 5: sauces you know that I really love that that. I
- 24:42Speaker 5: think Marjoram just does better than a lot of other things.
- 24:44Speaker 5: You could use the regano, but I think Marjoram has
- 24:48Speaker 5: a character and Marjoram is definitely one of those things
- 24:50Speaker 5: that I frustrate over the most not having in a
- 24:53Speaker 5: place where it should.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I could actually get behind that. I like that one.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Uh hashtag munchies. If you are frying something, what is
- 25:01Speaker 2: your favorite oil to use? Uh?
- 25:04Speaker 5: You know, it depends on who I'm cooking for. I
- 25:07Speaker 5: guess if it's for me, the canola oil, which is
- 25:13Speaker 5: just kind of the go to when we work at
- 25:15Speaker 5: the at the nutrition center. But I also like coconut oil,
- 25:20Speaker 5: you know, if it has a low smoke point, so
- 25:21Speaker 5: you have to be careful about it. Coconut coconut oil.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Is it just tastes good? Right? And it Uh, I
- 25:28Speaker 5: don't know. I like the flavor of it, but it's
- 25:30Speaker 5: not super healthy. It tastes an good.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Right, right, Chef. What's the difference between vegetable oil and
- 25:41Speaker 2: canola oil? Like, what's the like, what's the biggest difference there?
- 25:45Speaker 9: Uh?
- 25:46Speaker 5: You know, I mean there's all kinds of stuff in there,
- 25:48Speaker 5: that's it. Both of them are are pretty healthy, healthy
- 25:51Speaker 5: as far as lipoproteins and and you know, saturated or
- 25:56Speaker 5: lack of saturated fats. Reality is is it either? Like,
- 26:01Speaker 5: I mean, there's there's subtle differences in there as far
- 26:05Speaker 5: as the little laic acids and stuff like that. But canola,
- 26:09Speaker 5: I think is it has a really has a higher point,
- 26:14Speaker 5: allows you to abuse it a little bit.
- 26:16Speaker 2: More because you know, we got that built in fryer
- 26:20Speaker 2: in the house, and I'm trying some different oils and
- 26:23Speaker 2: like we even try like the peanut oil. But you know,
- 26:26Speaker 2: sometimes peanut oil is you gotta be a little careful
- 26:28Speaker 2: because it feels like it tastes good. Sometimes peanuts maybe, uh,
- 26:33Speaker 2: you know, get you feeling a little certain type of way.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Yeah, And you know people people kind of get weird
- 26:38Speaker 5: about peanut oil. So I just steer it to steer
- 26:40Speaker 5: away from it. You know, Canola I think carry some
- 26:43Speaker 5: good flavor with it, and people I think tolerate, you know,
- 26:46Speaker 5: the flavor of it more. You should. Back in the day,
- 26:49Speaker 5: we used to use animal vegetables shortening, which you know,
- 26:52Speaker 5: I mean it's like it's like a lard and that
- 26:55Speaker 5: tastes good too, but it's awful for you.
- 26:59Speaker 2: All right. There, You is Chef Michael Johnson good enough
- 27:01Speaker 2: to join us here every single week to answer your
- 27:04Speaker 2: munchie question. Chef enjoy Oklahoma City. I will see you
- 27:08Speaker 2: Saturday morning, and happy Thanksgiving.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Sir Jesus, thank you.
- 27:14Speaker 2: All right, we will step away and when we come back,
- 27:17Speaker 2: we are going to have a little bit of everything.
- 27:19Speaker 2: We're gonna have a little would you rather Thanksgiving edition.
- 27:22Speaker 2: We are also going to have a little pontoon parlay
- 27:26Speaker 2: that we put together here before we get out of
- 27:28Speaker 2: here on a Wednesday morning. All that coming your way,
- 27:31Speaker 2: wouldn't we jump back on OTB off the bench, all right?

- 28:42Speaker 1: From the locker room to the airwaves, gets off the
- 28:44Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 28:59Speaker 9: Don't gator belts and petty milks and Monte Carlos.
- 29:14Speaker 2: And help Dorondo, don't wake it up out of my slumber.
- 29:16Speaker 9: But then like rodo follow It's so timing is follow.
- 29:19Speaker 9: The Kiki Shepherd put about a win, a leper drag,
- 29:22Speaker 9: Teddy Pendergrast cooling, and Freddy.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Jackson sipping their milks.
- 29:25Speaker 9: Taking a snow thom that my throat warm in the
- 29:27Speaker 9: doll room at the AU people do hate to athletics
- 29:30Speaker 9: might take you, but you must have be mistaken.
- 29:32Speaker 2: All right, welcome back? Yeah, well o TV. Here couple
- 29:38Speaker 2: more segments before we get out here for the holidays.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Well would you rather Wednesday Thanksgiving edition?
- 29:50Speaker 8: Uh?
- 29:50Speaker 2: Tay, you were excited about this. I'm gonna let you
- 29:54Speaker 2: start it off.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Man, I don't have any I'm kidding.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I thought you were. I was like, yes, mostly, can.
- 30:01Speaker 10: You know, kind of kind of mix it up a
- 30:03Speaker 10: little bit about a little bit yesterday. Would you rather
- 30:07Speaker 10: as your side corn bread dressing or green bean casserole.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Green bean castle castle, green bean cast role when done
- 30:15Speaker 2: right now? Some people try to church it up a
- 30:17Speaker 2: little too much. It's like, no, just keep it simple,
- 30:19Speaker 2: stupid your kiss method.
- 30:21Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go corn bread dressing.
- 30:22Speaker 10: And it's a risk because I feel like green bean
- 30:25Speaker 10: cast role is more consistent a lot of people's you know,
- 30:28Speaker 10: they're they're pretty much the same. I do like trying
- 30:30Speaker 10: new stuff, though, and I kind of feel like everyone's
- 30:32Speaker 10: corn bread dressing is just a little bit different.
- 30:35Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go with that, Okay.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Would you rather have the perfectly, the most perfect cook
- 30:45Speaker 2: turkey every year or have elite sides? But the turkey
- 30:50Speaker 2: is always a little dry.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Elite side, Like, I'm all about the side too, and
- 30:57Speaker 8: it's a part of the conversation, but it's not the stars.
- 30:59Speaker 10: Yeah, And if you have a really good turkey, great,
- 31:02Speaker 10: you're eating good turkey with ten crappy sides. I got,
- 31:05Speaker 10: I got a variety of good stuff, just a slightly
- 31:09Speaker 10: dry turkey. No, that's the right answer for some gravy
- 31:14Speaker 10: on that turkey, just.
- 31:16Speaker 8: Drowned it, or like combine it with your side, give
- 31:20Speaker 8: it a little little.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Something, oh an amalgamation.
- 31:24Speaker 6: Yes, I'm like T Bob and like I love a
- 31:27Speaker 6: bowl of slop.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Oh you you go the whether the old KFC.
- 31:33Speaker 8: Y'all knows, y'all know that's my big back like guilty.
- 31:38Speaker 8: Oh yes, I feel like I've said that before. Yes,
- 31:41Speaker 8: I the big bull or the famous bowl is like
- 31:44Speaker 8: my big back thing. Okay, whenever I want to like
- 31:48Speaker 8: really just be disgusting, that's what I go get.
- 31:50Speaker 2: All right.
- 31:51Speaker 8: I haven't had it in a while, but like, oh man,
- 31:56Speaker 8: it's the best thing ever. If you ever had the
- 31:58Speaker 8: bowl at KC, it's awesome.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I respect the.
- 32:00Speaker 10: Fact that they put that on their everyday menu because
- 32:03Speaker 10: you know, one day they just saw somebody come in
- 32:05Speaker 10: and do that, like, hey, what's there.
- 32:07Speaker 3: They're like it looks like.
- 32:08Speaker 10: Chicken and mashed potatoes, maybe a little bit of corn.
- 32:11Speaker 10: They're like, you know what, throw it in there. We're
- 32:13Speaker 10: putting it on the menu. I respect that.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I do too well done? All right, Landra, would.
- 32:19Speaker 8: You rather cook the entire Thanksgiving meal by yourself or
- 32:22Speaker 8: clean up the entire meal by yourself.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Ooh, that is a great question.
- 32:27Speaker 10: So I'm not a great cook, Victoria is, and like
- 32:32Speaker 10: normally don't. I don't mind cleaning up, like, so I'll
- 32:35Speaker 10: do that. I mean, I'm good with that. I know
- 32:37Speaker 10: most people hate it. I don't mind cleaning up. Plus,
- 32:39Speaker 10: if I cook it, it's not going to be very good,
- 32:42Speaker 10: so I'll just I'll take the cleanup.
- 32:45Speaker 8: I don't cook a lot, but I think I would
- 32:46Speaker 8: prefer cooking than cleaning.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 6: Like, again, I'm not domestic.
- 32:50Speaker 2: I know that cooking goes like it's probably a longer process.
- 32:54Speaker 6: It's more fun.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but doing the dishes after like a huge meal, like, yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 2: that's a lot of work. I think it is.
- 33:01Speaker 8: They're calling me a little slot now instead of little
- 33:03Speaker 8: sog because I said I like I like a little
- 33:07Speaker 8: sog my sandwiches.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that was that is That is a that's a
- 33:15Speaker 2: that's a choice.
- 33:16Speaker 6: Yeah, no, it's very big back.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Yeah all right.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Would you rather.
- 33:25Speaker 10: Watch football all day on Thanksgiving or be able to
- 33:31Speaker 10: catch every college football playoff game? But you can't watch
- 33:33Speaker 10: any on Thanksgiving?
- 33:36Speaker 2: No, I gotta have football on Thanksgiving. Yeah, I agree,
- 33:39Speaker 2: it's just it's part of the process. It's part of
- 33:42Speaker 2: it's part of the holiday, honestly. So yeah, I'm gonna
- 33:45Speaker 2: go NFL on Thanksgiving, no doubt about it.
- 33:49Speaker 3: It's a good sleigh too, really good slate.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Oh I like this one? Okay? Would you rather only
- 34:01Speaker 2: be allowed to eat cast roles for Thanksgiving or only
- 34:04Speaker 2: be allowed to eat desserts?
- 34:10Speaker 5: Wait?
- 34:10Speaker 6: What was it? What was the first one?
- 34:13Speaker 2: Only only be able to eat castle roles for Thanksgiving?
- 34:16Speaker 2: Or eat the desserts for Thanksgiving? The desserts deserts are elite.
- 34:20Speaker 10: So I'm gonna go castrole only because I feel like
- 34:22Speaker 10: I have them like less frequently, like pumpkin pie on
- 34:25Speaker 10: Thanksgivings elite.
- 34:26Speaker 3: I kind of have that throughout the year.
- 34:29Speaker 10: I'm not gonna take the time to make a castle
- 34:31Speaker 10: roll out Thanksgiving.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Land.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Let's see.
- 34:38Speaker 8: Uh Okay, would you rather sit at the kids table
- 34:42Speaker 8: forever or be in charge of saying a five minute
- 34:45Speaker 8: heartfelt blessing every year?
- 34:47Speaker 3: Kids Table's elite.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Kid's table? Man? I can't. No, I don't have enough
- 34:54Speaker 2: motivates and inspires for five minutes.
- 34:58Speaker 8: I don't think anybody has ever described me his heartfelt
- 35:00Speaker 8: so nice.
- 35:01Speaker 2: And I could give you like a great ninety second prayer.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Right five minutes plus.
- 35:08Speaker 3: These are picky eaters.
- 35:09Speaker 10: I can snag whatever they don't want off their plate.
- 35:11Speaker 10: Yea stable, that seems like a great time.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah, kids, table's got all the tea too, Now it
- 35:16Speaker 2: really does. Hey they are They don't hold anything back, so.
- 35:21Speaker 6: I will, no, Huck, just prove that it's true.
- 35:24Speaker 3: It's very true.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Man.
- 35:25Speaker 6: He's liked my high hydration great, the taste, the.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Fact he went like category two hydration, great taste.
- 35:37Speaker 3: He was trying to like defend my high.
- 35:39Speaker 10: Later on, he's like, no, people only buy a Gatorade
- 35:42Speaker 10: because it's good, guys, because I love it, because my
- 35:47Speaker 10: eye is better for you. People only buy Gatoray because
- 35:49Speaker 10: it's good. I was like, not helping things there, but.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I shout out to Huck.
- 35:56Speaker 6: Adorable.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Great performance, Great performance from our guy, Huck. All right,
- 36:02Speaker 2: let's see here we go. Would you rather go Black
- 36:05Speaker 2: Friday shopping at four am with your in laws or
- 36:09Speaker 2: deep fry the turkey with the one cousin who definitely
- 36:13Speaker 2: shouldn't be near an open flame keep out the turkey.
- 36:15Speaker 3: That'd be fun, you know, see what he does with
- 36:17Speaker 3: that open flame.
- 36:18Speaker 2: I would go Black Friday shopping with my in laws.
- 36:22Speaker 2: My father in law is hilarious. He is the one
- 36:25Speaker 2: lion king and he would be judging everybody that was
- 36:29Speaker 2: sitting in line, and he'd have something to say about everybody.
- 36:31Speaker 2: So I'd pick my in laws.
- 36:33Speaker 6: Yeah, that seems more fun. I don't have in laws,
- 36:36Speaker 6: but I think that would probably be better.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Than than cousin Eddie.
- 36:39Speaker 8: Yeah, in the Turkey, I'd rather nobody die.
- 36:43Speaker 3: I'm good with that.
- 36:43Speaker 10: Problem is where I'm at, everybody's doing that with their
- 36:46Speaker 10: cousin too, Like fri everybody's with their cousin.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Okay, and there we go.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Oh sorry, sorry, sorry, I didn't know what you were
- 36:54Speaker 2: talking about.
- 36:55Speaker 3: But I mean, yeah, maybe that's too.
- 36:57Speaker 6: But they're squeezing the juice.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah maybe they are, you know, so the juice worth
- 37:01Speaker 3: the squeezle things.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I guess it wasn't for the Saints though, you know
- 37:03Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 37:04Speaker 10: No, it wasn't good for them, all.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Right, Tae.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Let's see, Okay, would you rather.
- 37:18Speaker 10: Only be allowed turkey on Thanksgiving and no ham or
- 37:23Speaker 10: you're only limited to two sides every year?
- 37:29Speaker 8: I can't do two sides. I'm don'na have to go
- 37:31Speaker 8: like turkey again. Sorry, you don't get any ham, I know,
- 37:35Speaker 8: but I.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Need all them sides. I need at least four.
- 37:38Speaker 3: I think I'm kind of with you on it.
- 37:40Speaker 8: Like I need the mac and cheese, I need the
- 37:42Speaker 8: cast role, I need the mashed potatoes.
- 37:45Speaker 6: That's already more than two, right, Yeah.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I gotta have all the sides. I like ham over turkey,
- 37:54Speaker 2: but I gotta have this the sides of the star
- 37:56Speaker 2: of the show.
- 37:57Speaker 3: They really are.
- 37:58Speaker 10: The turkey is the centerpiece of the tape, but the main,
- 38:01Speaker 10: the main reason you go, or the sides?
- 38:07Speaker 6: I don't have another one?
- 38:10Speaker 2: Would you rather watch the NFL games on Thanksgiving with
- 38:15Speaker 2: no commercials or have unlimited leftovers with no football? I
- 38:21Speaker 2: gotta have football.
- 38:22Speaker 7: Yeah, I can do that.
- 38:23Speaker 6: It's no commercials.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Yeah, no commercial zone is way better.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I gotta have football.
- 38:28Speaker 6: Eating leftovers gets old after a while, it does.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Like I'm good with that for like a day after
- 38:34Speaker 3: Other than that is.
- 38:39Speaker 2: All right, It's gonna do it for a little. Would
- 38:40Speaker 2: you rather Thanksgiving? Addition, anybody else got any more? No?
- 38:43Speaker 2: All right, when we come back, we are going to
- 38:46Speaker 2: give you a little pontoon parlay on the way out.

- 40:32Speaker 7: See whatever you want, but you still gonna get it up.
- 40:36Speaker 2: All right, Let's give a little Pontoon parlay and we're
- 40:40Speaker 2: gonna try to do it between games that are played
- 40:42Speaker 2: on Thursday or Friday, NFL or college kind of combining
- 40:47Speaker 2: them here for the you know, the change of slate,
- 40:50Speaker 2: gonna have games on different days here. And let's see.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Let's go ahead and see what Matt said. All right,
- 40:56Speaker 2: he's going with a game that is played tomorrow and
- 41:00Speaker 2: he is going to at home take the Kansas Jayhawks
- 41:04Speaker 2: plus eleven and a half against the utah Utes. The
- 41:09Speaker 2: reason why hydration. So Matt's going Jayhawks plus eleven and
- 41:16Speaker 2: a half at home against the utah Utes.
- 41:19Speaker 6: I like it.
- 41:22Speaker 8: Maybe we can call it the Mayflower parlay for Thanksgiving. Okay, Well,
- 41:29Speaker 8: what was that beeping or is it the song?
- 41:32Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah, I think it's.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Page Yeah, Okay, we got the last five more minutes
- 41:38Speaker 3: in here.
- 41:38Speaker 8: Okay, So from mine. We're gonna head to Atlanta tomorrow.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Atl We're gonna go.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Down to Atlanta. Number twenty three.
- 41:47Speaker 8: Georgia Tech facing off against Georgia, and we always know
- 41:52Speaker 8: Georgia Tech is gonna stand in bang with Georgia. So
- 41:56Speaker 8: I'm gonna go Georgia Tech plus thirteen and a hal
- 42:00Speaker 8: half over Georgia Rambling.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Good pick.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 42:08Speaker 3: Are we mixing college in print?
- 42:12Speaker 2: Yep?
- 42:13Speaker 3: I'll go to the.
- 42:14Speaker 2: NFL, the National Football League.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Some NFL football is mats one.
- 42:19Speaker 2: What says we're.
- 42:21Speaker 10: Gonna uh, We're gonna go Chiefs Cowboys Kansas City three
- 42:25Speaker 10: and a half point road favorite. Okay, I'm actually gonna
- 42:31Speaker 10: take Dallas in this game. Now, boath teams had to
- 42:34Speaker 10: come from behind victory. I kind of thought the Eagles
- 42:37Speaker 10: and Colts boat choked that game away. But the Chiefs
- 42:40Speaker 10: are still just one in five on the season in
- 42:43Speaker 10: one score games. I think this is a tight matchup.
- 42:47Speaker 10: Chiefs haven't been good there and the Cowboys are at home.
- 42:50Speaker 10: So I'll take Dallas plus three and a half at
- 42:52Speaker 10: home against the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Cowboys when they're all on their own, I mean when
- 43:00Speaker 2: and that offense is clicking like that, and now that
- 43:02Speaker 2: you got Pickings and Lamb and you've got somebody that
- 43:05Speaker 2: can carry the football. And Williams now he was asked
- 43:07Speaker 2: to do way more at the beginning of the season
- 43:09Speaker 2: than he has been lately. But and Cowboys, now it's
- 43:12Speaker 2: a little hit or miss. It's got a little Panthers
- 43:14Speaker 2: feel to it. But when they're own, they are really
- 43:17Speaker 2: hard to stop. And Chiefs are one and four away
- 43:19Speaker 2: from Arrowhead this year, so.
- 43:21Speaker 10: One and four away, one in five in one score games.
- 43:25Speaker 2: So the Cowboys are three to one and one at home,
- 43:29Speaker 2: so much better in Dallas.
- 43:30Speaker 6: I like that he's in an NFL pick in the parlay.
- 43:33Speaker 2: We're gonna mix it up a little bit. Would you
- 43:38Speaker 2: do you want to add an NFL play?
- 43:40Speaker 6: No, I was just I can.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to the NFL as well.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Let me looks all right now.
- 43:47Speaker 2: I know that the Bengals are three and eight. I
- 43:51Speaker 2: know they're one and four away from home, but I
- 43:54Speaker 2: know that they have to get some juice from Joe
- 43:57Speaker 2: Burrow coming back. He's playing in this game. Give me
- 44:03Speaker 2: the Bengals plus seven and a half on the road
- 44:06Speaker 2: against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have been beat up
- 44:10Speaker 2: as well. The Ravens have played better, They're still not
- 44:13Speaker 2: world beaters. I like getting some life with Joe Burrow
- 44:17Speaker 2: coming back, even if it's a backdoor cover situation. I
- 44:21Speaker 2: feel like they'll cover, being a touchdown spread. I know
- 44:26Speaker 2: it sounds crazy, but give me the Bengals to cover
- 44:29Speaker 2: against the Ravens.
- 44:29Speaker 3: I like the pick.
- 44:30Speaker 8: I mean, the only one they haven't been close and
- 44:32Speaker 8: recently is the Steelers.
- 44:35Speaker 6: Yeah, so I don't hate it.
- 44:38Speaker 10: You look at Lamar since coming back from his injury.
- 44:41Speaker 10: He's played three games since injury, one seventy six and
- 44:45Speaker 10: a touchdown, one ninety three, no touchdown, two interceptions against
- 44:49Speaker 10: the Browns, and then last week one fifty three. He
- 44:52Speaker 10: has a fifty seven percent completion percentage since coming back
- 44:56Speaker 10: from injury.
- 44:56Speaker 3: He really hasn't been good. They're winning, but getn't been great.
- 45:01Speaker 8: So the first one that I saw is the one
- 45:04Speaker 8: I'm gonna pick because I actually like this one. Chicago's
- 45:07Speaker 8: at Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the favorite there.
- 45:11Speaker 6: Okay by seven points.
- 45:12Speaker 8: Oh wow, So I'm gonna go Bears plus seven.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:16Speaker 8: I don't want to go full money line, but I
- 45:18Speaker 8: do think that the Bears actually pull that one out.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Uh, pull that one off.
- 45:22Speaker 3: There's been great and close games, great Layton games.
- 45:25Speaker 2: To by the way, Uh listen to these Thanksgiving NFL
- 45:30Speaker 2: get in prices oh Packers Lions one hundred and ninety
- 45:34Speaker 2: two dollars in Detroit, Chiefs Cowboys two hundred and sixteen
- 45:39Speaker 2: dollars in AT and T Stadium, Bengals Ravens seventy five
- 45:44Speaker 2: dollars but still I guess not a cheap ticket. Bears
- 45:48Speaker 2: Eagles three hundred and fourteen dollars. My gosh, get in.
- 45:52Speaker 6: Price for nosebleeds.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like the worst seat in the house. That's
- 45:58Speaker 2: what is going to cost.
- 45:58Speaker 3: You cold up in Philly. Two new things, my god.
- 46:02Speaker 2: A couple of other get in prices, the egg Bowl
- 46:04Speaker 2: two hundred and sixteen dollars, Georgia Georgia Tech one hundred
- 46:08Speaker 2: and seventy five dollars, Texas A and M and Texas
- 46:11Speaker 2: three hundred and thirty two dollars, Arizona Arizona State one
- 46:15Speaker 2: hundred and fifty two dollars, Ohio State and Michigan two
- 46:18Speaker 2: hundred and eighty five dollars. So, man, if you're going
- 46:22Speaker 2: to enjoy three hundred and thirty seven dollars for the
- 46:24Speaker 2: Iron Bowl as well, So if you're going to enjoy
- 46:27Speaker 2: some football, you're ready to pay. All right, we love you,
- 46:31Speaker 2: we appreciate you, Happy Thanksgiving, and we'll see you next week.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Off the bench.
