- 1:36Speaker 3: Has show Watch the Magic growth Bo. What's going on, everybody?
- 1:54Speaker 3: I am Vince Right. This is the Sports Done Right Podcast.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I am also known as the Big Smooth or as
- 2:01Speaker 3: the Sports Governor of Minnesota. And it is real hard
- 2:06Speaker 3: being the sports governor of Minnesota right now, because, honestly, folks,
- 2:11Speaker 3: the two main football teams in this state absolutely suck
- 2:18Speaker 3: right now, and there is just there's no two ways
- 2:21Speaker 3: about it. We're not gonna sugarcoat it here on the show.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We're really gonna focus in on the Minnesota Gophers, how
- 2:30Speaker 3: they've just kind of been this team of illusion all
- 2:32Speaker 3: season after really blowing the golden opportunity at Wrigley Field
- 2:37Speaker 3: to beat Northwestern yesterday, and also what you saw today
- 2:42Speaker 3: with the Minnesota Vikings again the continuation of just JJ
- 2:47Speaker 3: McCarthy not being it right now, and that's just you know,
- 2:52Speaker 3: hate to take shots of the young dude like that,
- 2:54Speaker 3: but you know, just on the field, nothing personal, but
- 2:59Speaker 3: it is just not working out. And we will get
- 3:02Speaker 3: into that as well. And so we're gonna kind of
- 3:06Speaker 3: keep this show focused on the football side of things.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Before we get started, a couple shouts out for the
- 3:13Speaker 3: Minnesota Wild by the way, twelve, seven and four. Now
- 3:16Speaker 3: they're on a four game winning streak and they get
- 3:20Speaker 3: to win another shutout Minnesota Wild over Winnipeg tonight. Three
- 3:24Speaker 3: nothing Blackhawks coming into town. They got a game Friday
- 3:29Speaker 3: night with Colorado. So Wild doing big, big things, and
- 3:33Speaker 3: we'll definitely cover them more as the season gets going.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Same with the Timberwolves as well. But like I said
- 3:41Speaker 3: on this edition of the Sports Done Right Show, let's
- 3:45Speaker 3: get it going here. Minnesota Golden Golphers, by the way,
- 3:51Speaker 3: the six and five Minnesota Golden Gophers. Where do you
- 3:59Speaker 3: begin or do you begin? You know? I called it
- 4:02Speaker 3: a season of illusions because you know, everybody was so
- 4:06Speaker 3: hyped obviously thought everything well, you know, was corrected. And
- 4:13Speaker 3: that's saying a lot to say, hey, everything's corrected in
- 4:15Speaker 3: the Nebraska game. But the Nebraska game is really the
- 4:20Speaker 3: only game where the Gophers had it all put together, obviously,
- 4:25Speaker 3: and outside of a half in the Michigan State game,
- 4:29Speaker 3: maybe a half in that Purdue game, this team's been
- 4:32Speaker 3: really bad for the most part. You know, we found
- 4:36Speaker 3: the quarterback I believe in Drake Lindsay. He is really
- 4:40Speaker 3: just kind of been the one kind of constant throughout
- 4:42Speaker 3: the season. When he has had time to throw, he's
- 4:46Speaker 3: looked good, and the offensive line at times has not
- 4:50Speaker 3: given him the best opportunity to sit back there and
- 4:54Speaker 3: figure some things out. But beyond that, like yesterday, you know,
- 4:59Speaker 3: you can not let the Northwestern Wildcats give up or
- 5:03Speaker 3: put on you excuse me, five hundred and twenty five
- 5:06Speaker 3: total offensive yards. You cannot do that. Couple shouts out
- 5:13Speaker 3: for Northwestern here, Preston Stone, their quarterback, twenty five of
- 5:18Speaker 3: thirty three hundred and five yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions,
- 5:23Speaker 3: And that was really your your big game player right
- 5:26Speaker 3: there for Northwestern because he along with Caleb coomalafe and
- 5:32Speaker 3: I hope I'm doing Caleb's last name justice, because you know,
- 5:37Speaker 3: they were just in sync all day. And Preston Stone
- 5:43Speaker 3: the way he was just getting rid of the ball
- 5:45Speaker 3: very quickly, a lot of out routes and things like that,
- 5:48Speaker 3: but he was finding his receivers and they seem to
- 5:51Speaker 3: be open, and I just couldn't understand yet again this
- 5:55Speaker 3: Gopher defensive backfield just not being where they were supposed
- 5:59Speaker 3: to be and giving up a lot of receptions, a
- 6:03Speaker 3: lot of you know, first downs, short yarded situations, and
- 6:08Speaker 3: it really really sucked. Yeah, you know, you can't do
- 6:15Speaker 3: that against a team like Northwestern, and you know, really
- 6:22Speaker 3: in what and you let me say this, you usually
- 6:26Speaker 3: get a lot of Minnesota fans on the road at Northwestern,
- 6:32Speaker 3: whether they're playing on campus. This game was at Wrigley
- 6:35Speaker 3: Field because obviously Northwestern is building a new stadium up
- 6:38Speaker 3: on the lake front there and didn't want to play
- 6:42Speaker 3: at the temporary stadium that they had set up, so
- 6:45Speaker 3: played their second game here at Wrigley Field. And you know,
- 6:48Speaker 3: a lot of Gopher fans going down there at Wrigley
- 6:50Speaker 3: Field and you know, take part in the party and
- 6:53Speaker 3: all that stuff. But man, Northwestern came to play and
- 6:58Speaker 3: they just kind of lit up Gophers. Now, you go, well,
- 7:01Speaker 3: Vince god that you know it was thirty eight thirty five,
- 7:05Speaker 3: You're absolutely right, But in a game that was really
- 7:11Speaker 3: just three points, it took everything from Minnesota to get
- 7:15Speaker 3: back in this game, to stay in this game, and
- 7:18Speaker 3: it just had never really felt right. You know. Drake
- 7:21Speaker 3: Lindsay had an okay line. He was twenty of thirty
- 7:24Speaker 3: for two hundred and sixty four yards four touchdowns, by
- 7:27Speaker 3: the way, three of those over to Javon Tracy. He
- 7:30Speaker 3: had four receptions eighty seven yards three touchdowns. But in
- 7:35Speaker 3: the end, Gophers just could not hold on. And this
- 7:39Speaker 3: loss really hurts because, you know, six and five. You know,
- 7:43Speaker 3: we'll touch on Wisconsin coming in here next week and
- 7:46Speaker 3: what Wisconsin is looking like coming in because they've kind
- 7:49Speaker 3: of transformed a little bit as well. But what are
- 7:53Speaker 3: the Gophers. They're not a good football team right now,
- 7:59Speaker 3: and in a weird way, may not have been all season,
- 8:02Speaker 3: but yet here they are. Still would have winning record
- 8:04Speaker 3: at six and five, but an opportunity now where eight
- 8:10Speaker 3: wins is going to be you know, if you can
- 8:12Speaker 3: go eight and five, you know, get this win here
- 8:17Speaker 3: against Wisconsin bowl game. But before we get into that,
- 8:22Speaker 3: well we'll talk about Wisconsin. But Saturday was just kind
- 8:26Speaker 3: of not kind of it was. It was really just disappointing,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and you know, you sit here and you try and
- 8:36Speaker 3: figure it out, and like a lot of other Gopher podcasts,
- 8:39Speaker 3: a lot of other postgame wrap ups here in the
- 8:41Speaker 3: past twenty four hours, you know, this team just hasn't
- 8:46Speaker 3: really done anything all season, and somehow won all their
- 8:52Speaker 3: games at home, and for the first time in PJ
- 8:55Speaker 3: flex era, they are now going to be winless for
- 8:59Speaker 3: the first season under PJ Fleck on the road. So
- 9:05Speaker 3: no wins on the road this year for the Golden Gophers,
- 9:08Speaker 3: and in the game that they definitely should have won
- 9:11Speaker 3: in my opinion, but then again, obviously it didn't play
- 9:16Speaker 3: out that way. And like I said, Northwestern just you know,
- 9:20Speaker 3: you know, they let Minnesota back in. Gophers cloud their
- 9:23Speaker 3: way back in. I gotta give credit there, But in
- 9:27Speaker 3: the end, man, I mean the Northwestern speed, the receivers
- 9:31Speaker 3: speed on, you know, getting past some of these Gopher defenders.
- 9:37Speaker 3: It's just it's it's just very very alarming. Two hundred
- 9:43Speaker 3: and twenty rushing yards by the way for the Northwestern Wildcats,
- 9:47Speaker 3: fifty nine for Minnesota. Twenty five first downs it's just
- 9:54Speaker 3: for Northwestern, fifteen for Minnesota. Northwestern had the ball for
- 10:00Speaker 3: forty minutes and forty eight seconds, the Gophers in nineteen
- 10:03Speaker 3: minutes and twelve seconds. And with that being said, they
- 10:06Speaker 3: only lost by three, but they still lost. And you
- 10:09Speaker 3: know a lot of people now talking about not so much. Hey,
- 10:13Speaker 3: it's time to get rid of PJ. Fleck and things
- 10:15Speaker 3: like that. You know, some people are putting that out there.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You know, ten years, this is where we're at. Can
- 10:23Speaker 3: we find somebody else? Is there somebody on the who knows?
- 10:28Speaker 3: Is there somebody out there, somebody on the staff who's
- 10:31Speaker 3: the next great coach? Can we get them to Minneapolis?
- 10:34Speaker 3: And then you see things like hurt signetti down at
- 10:37Speaker 3: Indiana and people go, my god, if Indiana, the lowly
- 10:41Speaker 3: Indiana Hoosiers are number two in the country going to
- 10:46Speaker 3: be a second year playoff team, why can't we do
- 10:50Speaker 3: it in Minneapolis? Well, I don't know. And I really
- 10:54Speaker 3: got to reach out to Dinkeytown Athletics that's the NIL
- 10:58Speaker 3: for the University of Minnesota, and just kind of see
- 11:01Speaker 3: what they're feeling like. Money wise, We've gotten good reports
- 11:04Speaker 3: over there and they've gotten money to kind of spread
- 11:06Speaker 3: around to some of the non revenue sports as well.
- 11:09Speaker 3: But it is really really interesting because you never know
- 11:14Speaker 3: what you're gonna get year to year with this new
- 11:16Speaker 3: NIL transport portal. And I don't know. I mean, PJ,
- 11:23Speaker 3: he may have to take a look at some coaching
- 11:25Speaker 3: changes here. I don't think he's gonna get rid of
- 11:27Speaker 3: his defensive coordinator. I don't think he's gonna probably get
- 11:31Speaker 3: rid of the offensive coordinator just yet, but I don't know. Man.
- 11:35Speaker 3: You just you scratch your head sometimes at some of
- 11:37Speaker 3: these play calls, and the Gophers just kind of seemed
- 11:40Speaker 3: to be predictable too, and a lot of the offensive
- 11:44Speaker 3: play schemes that they run. No real running game here
- 11:47Speaker 3: for the past couple seasons. That's also very, very very
- 11:52Speaker 3: alarming because you know Darius Taylor, who's been hurt. He
- 11:56Speaker 3: had a nice kind of breakaway run yesterday and maybe
- 12:00Speaker 3: their normal circumstances, he could have broke that run for
- 12:02Speaker 3: the touchdown, but she saw him kind of he eased
- 12:05Speaker 3: up on that run, and he's nowhere near one hundred percent. Gophers,
- 12:10Speaker 3: by the way, have only rushed for a total and
- 12:16Speaker 3: this is the whole team is just eleven hundred yards.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Drake Lindsay's passed for just over twenty one hundred yards.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Lemachy Breckington or Brockington excuse me, leads them with four
- 12:29Speaker 3: hundred and sixty yards. Receptions are in receptions. Maverick Bereanowski
- 12:36Speaker 3: leads and tackles with seventy nine. But again, a Gopher
- 12:40Speaker 3: defense who gives you no feeling the strength that they
- 12:44Speaker 3: can stop anybody right now, an offense that you know,
- 12:49Speaker 3: kind of just sputters and at times looks really good
- 12:53Speaker 3: and then at times obviously you know, the Gophers do
- 12:57Speaker 3: not measure up when it comes to the upper echelon
- 13:01Speaker 3: teams of the Big Ten, and they're just a middle
- 13:04Speaker 3: of the road team. Very disappointing yesterday, like we said,
- 13:10Speaker 3: down there in Chicago to watch that game unfold. And
- 13:16Speaker 3: now next Saturday afternoon to thirty, the University of Wisconsin
- 13:24Speaker 3: comes to Minneapolis in a game where I look, this
- 13:30Speaker 3: is the Sports stone Right podcast. I am Vince Right,
- 13:32Speaker 3: sports governor of Minnesota, and I told you two weeks ago,
- 13:37Speaker 3: I said, do not take this Northwestern game and this
- 13:39Speaker 3: Wisconsin game lightly a lot of people, you know, looking
- 13:42Speaker 3: at Wisconsin. This was before they beat Washington, and you know,
- 13:48Speaker 3: obviously they were chalking that game up as an automatic win.
- 13:51Speaker 3: You know, let's just kind of play the game. We're
- 13:53Speaker 3: keeping the acts anyway. But oho, lo and behold, stop
- 13:57Speaker 3: that train. Wisconsin now has two ranked wins out of
- 14:01Speaker 3: their past three games. They took down Illinois yesterday, you know,
- 14:06Speaker 3: very very dominating in that game, and all of a sudden, man,
- 14:10Speaker 3: here come the Badgers, Here comes Luke Fickle, the Badgers
- 14:14Speaker 3: starting to believe in themselves, and lo and behold, folks,
- 14:19Speaker 3: this game obviously listen, Gophers are a I think they
- 14:24Speaker 3: opened at a two and a half point favorite. Sports
- 14:26Speaker 3: governor I tweeted out yesterday. Honestly, I think Wisconsin, if
- 14:30Speaker 3: you had it on maybe a neutral field, Wisconsin, you
- 14:35Speaker 3: might make even that point. I don't know, a couple
- 14:39Speaker 3: point favorite. It doesn't matter. In my mind, Wisconsin's actually
- 14:42Speaker 3: the favorite. They're playing better. They look really good in
- 14:48Speaker 3: these past three games. They won two of those three.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Running backs starting to hit holes. The running back had
- 14:56Speaker 3: eighty four yard John Locke, which was the longest play
- 14:59Speaker 3: for screen much for them yesterday. They are getting their
- 15:03Speaker 3: crowd back rush the field second time. But what it
- 15:09Speaker 3: is is, you know, maybe they're starting to believe in
- 15:11Speaker 3: their coach and Luke Fickel, and maybe Luke Fickle's starting
- 15:14Speaker 3: to write the ship. You know, maybe he's starting to
- 15:17Speaker 3: write the ship a little bit down there, and all
- 15:20Speaker 3: of a sudden, you know, you'd look at these two teams,
- 15:23Speaker 3: and Minnesota and Wisconsin, who's been playing better ball the
- 15:28Speaker 3: past two to three weeks past month, well pretty even
- 15:36Speaker 3: you can maybe say Wisconsin because they got two ranked
- 15:38Speaker 3: wins over Washington and Illinois. You know, they didn't play
- 15:44Speaker 3: horrible when they had to go out to Oregon. So
- 15:50Speaker 3: they do not sleep on this Wisconsin team. And by
- 15:53Speaker 3: the way, maybe all of a sudden, they might be
- 15:56Speaker 3: bringing some fans up all of a sudden, now fan
- 15:59Speaker 3: interest all the kind of getting back going in Madison, Wisconsin,
- 16:04Speaker 3: whereas up here in the Twin Cities it's a whole
- 16:08Speaker 3: home time and you know, the Gophers lose this game
- 16:12Speaker 3: and go to six and six and then it's just
- 16:14Speaker 3: the same old you know, or here we go Detroit,
- 16:17Speaker 3: maybe Music City Bowl, who knows. But it has just
- 16:22Speaker 3: really been a disappointing season and a perplexing season. And
- 16:27Speaker 3: one thing also too, is that the University of Minnesota
- 16:31Speaker 3: administration really has to be taking a task a little
- 16:34Speaker 3: bit too, because they you know, even when I was
- 16:37Speaker 3: in school there, they just really seem to not have
- 16:40Speaker 3: a real interest in athletics. Now, they come out and
- 16:44Speaker 3: they do all the proper talk and say all the
- 16:46Speaker 3: proper things, but behind the scenes, it just doesn't seem
- 16:49Speaker 3: like the University of Minnesota you know, you go over
- 16:52Speaker 3: to that campus on football Saturday. You outside of you know,
- 16:56Speaker 3: fraternity rowan University Avenue, in the you know, stadium village
- 17:01Speaker 3: area and the tailgate lots, you'd never know on campus
- 17:04Speaker 3: there's a football game. It is just there's nothing going on.
- 17:09Speaker 3: It's dead, it's quiet, there's no signs, there's no nothing.
- 17:14Speaker 3: And I just feel that, you know, athletics, say what
- 17:18Speaker 3: you will. We all get it. These universities are for
- 17:21Speaker 3: higher education, but in terms of getting your school's name
- 17:26Speaker 3: out there and getting people interested in taking a look
- 17:28Speaker 3: at you, sports has always been literally the front door
- 17:33Speaker 3: to any university. So I mean, I had a guy
- 17:36Speaker 3: that was in my fraternity back in you know, early nineties,
- 17:42Speaker 3: and he wound up going to UNLV because of the
- 17:45Speaker 3: UNLV basketball team. So sports, what it does for your university,
- 17:52Speaker 3: there's a lot to be said there. And if the
- 17:55Speaker 3: Gophers don't come prepared next week, keep the acts at
- 17:59Speaker 3: least than this season, because if they lose to Wisconsin, man,
- 18:06Speaker 3: it is going to be is going to be very
- 18:09Speaker 3: depressing around here. So with that being said, you gotta
- 18:12Speaker 3: beat Wisconsin. Good luck to Minnesota, keep the acts here
- 18:17Speaker 3: and just be prepared, be prepared to play a good
- 18:21Speaker 3: game of football, and just be prepared to get after
- 18:24Speaker 3: the Wisconsin Badgers. I have a feeling you're gonna see
- 18:27Speaker 3: some trick plays from Wisconsin like you saw yesterday. A
- 18:30Speaker 3: lot of stuff around in So just be prepared, Gophers,
- 18:33Speaker 3: be prepared.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Hey, do you know that SEVENTHDD Pizza is one of
- 18:39Speaker 5: the best frozen pizzas on the market, Well they do now.

- 19:11Speaker 3: Get you some, Get you some. Indeed, this is Vince
- 19:16Speaker 3: Wright Sports Done Right Podcast. I am the sports governor
- 19:20Speaker 3: of the state of Minnesota, a state that's in football disarray.
- 19:24Speaker 3: We just talked about the Gophers. Now, now we got
- 19:27Speaker 3: to talk about the pro team, the Purple. They go
- 19:30Speaker 3: down and lose at Green Bay today, and I don't
- 19:33Speaker 3: know what to tell you man. You know, we can
- 19:37Speaker 3: go over stats, we can go over this, we can
- 19:39Speaker 3: go over that really doesn't matter. Vikings go down twenty
- 19:44Speaker 3: three to six. Green Bay is seven and three, seven
- 19:48Speaker 3: three and one. Actually Vikings four and seven. Season pretty
- 19:54Speaker 3: much done. But it is all about the quarterback and
- 19:58Speaker 3: lack of product activity coming from JJ McCarthy again, just
- 20:03Speaker 3: another game of you know, overthrows, interceptions, holding the ball
- 20:09Speaker 3: way too long. It seems like not getting out of
- 20:13Speaker 3: the pocket. I mean, this is it's becoming scary. And
- 20:17Speaker 3: you know, nothing personal against JJ. This is all you
- 20:21Speaker 3: know on the football field. I want that to be
- 20:24Speaker 3: known because people you know have been saying, you know,
- 20:28Speaker 3: keep it cool here. He's a young kid, no need
- 20:31Speaker 3: and for whoever might be taking personal shots, which I
- 20:34Speaker 3: do not understand. But no, this is this is all about,
- 20:39Speaker 3: you know, the play on the field here with JJ McCarthy.
- 20:41Speaker 3: And by the way, Vikings defense they've looked rather go
- 20:46Speaker 3: for esque here at times as well, a lot of
- 20:49Speaker 3: mistackles things like that, and you know, I don't know, man,
- 20:56Speaker 3: this is this quarterback situation isn't going to work. I
- 21:01Speaker 3: don't know, do you give also do you give Max
- 21:05Speaker 3: Brosmer a shot? I mean, you know a lot of people,
- 21:10Speaker 3: obviously being in Minnesota, go for quarterback from last year.
- 21:13Speaker 3: A lot of people want to see him play. He
- 21:16Speaker 3: is a undrafted free agent who, by the way, made
- 21:19Speaker 3: the team, and he made the team by playing very
- 21:23Speaker 3: good football with you know, second and third team. And
- 21:28Speaker 3: I don't know, do you maybe just say, hey, let's
- 21:31Speaker 3: just throw him out there or do you? But then
- 21:34Speaker 3: what happens if oh my god, lo and behold Max
- 21:37Speaker 3: Brosmer comes in and has a good game, moves the ball,
- 21:42Speaker 3: who knows, maybe even leads him to a win, then
- 21:46Speaker 3: what because it wouldn't that be the Vikings total luck
- 21:52Speaker 3: to have your third team undrafted free agent quarterback come
- 21:55Speaker 3: in and then challenge the number one and start looking
- 21:59Speaker 3: batter on the field. So there's that at play. Do
- 22:03Speaker 3: you bring in again a solid veteran backup quarterback? But
- 22:10Speaker 3: at this time, now you're gonna let JJ play and
- 22:13Speaker 3: just see what you got there. You have to and
- 22:15Speaker 3: you really got to do it this year. Now, I
- 22:18Speaker 3: wouldn't mind seeing Max get a shot because I think
- 22:22Speaker 3: it keeps going like this. And by the way, the
- 22:24Speaker 3: Vikings going into Seattle to take on their former slinger
- 22:28Speaker 3: from last year, Sam Darnold, who you know has been
- 22:32Speaker 3: lighting it up and looking very good out there in Seattle.
- 22:35Speaker 3: But I don't know, man, this is just you know,
- 22:39Speaker 3: the Vikings have spent so much money. They are really
- 22:44Speaker 3: tied up money wise here because they were ready to
- 22:46Speaker 3: win now. And you know, they let their quarterbacks from
- 22:50Speaker 3: last year go, both of those guys doing very well
- 22:56Speaker 3: and the guy that they put theirs in on as
- 23:01Speaker 3: of now not doing the job. And there's just really
- 23:04Speaker 3: no two ways around this. You know. You look at
- 23:10Speaker 3: Justin Jefferson now on these posts, and that's what everybody's doing.
- 23:13Speaker 3: They're looking at Justin Jefferson, you know, seeing how pissed
- 23:16Speaker 3: he's getting, checking to see what he looks like on
- 23:19Speaker 3: the sidelines, you know. Yeah, and that's the thing too.
- 23:22Speaker 3: You know, you got arguably the best wide receiver in football,
- 23:26Speaker 3: you know, not stat wise this year for obvious reasons.
- 23:29Speaker 3: But you know, then how long does he stay happy?
- 23:32Speaker 3: I mean, if this is going to be the continued situation,
- 23:35Speaker 3: So Minnesota Vikings got a lot to get figured out here.
- 23:39Speaker 3: As well. And like I said, now they got to
- 23:42Speaker 3: go into Seattle next week, maybe get shown up by
- 23:46Speaker 3: the guy they let go, Sam Darnold. Defense not impressive
- 23:51Speaker 3: at all, and you know the offense just can't get
- 23:55Speaker 3: anything started because you know, their quarterback is just really,
- 24:00Speaker 3: really suffering. Right now, I don't know what to say.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I mean, you know, like I said, no need to
- 24:05Speaker 3: go through stats and all the other stuff. You know,
- 24:08Speaker 3: I'm not going to repeat all the other stuff you've
- 24:10Speaker 3: been hearing on other game or excuse me, other shows
- 24:15Speaker 3: and stuff here since this game ended this afternoon. But
- 24:20Speaker 3: JJ McCarthy had a thirty four point two rating today.
- 24:25Speaker 3: You know, Jordan Mason had forty two yards rushing. He
- 24:30Speaker 3: was the leading rusher. Justin Jefferson had forty eight yards
- 24:34Speaker 3: receiving with the long of nineteen. Just I don't know, man,
- 24:43Speaker 3: you know big will You know? Kicking was the only
- 24:47Speaker 3: bright spot he had the fifty nine yarder, and he
- 24:50Speaker 3: hit that very easily. Probably could have hit that from
- 24:53Speaker 3: sixty five. He had plenty of room to spear on
- 24:55Speaker 3: that kick when they showed the highlight from the side.
- 24:58Speaker 3: But man, it is just rough times here in Gopher Vikingland.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Minnesota football just atrocious right now. It's gonna make for
- 25:08Speaker 3: a long, long winter. The Vikings just it's just, I
- 25:15Speaker 3: don't know, it's just off the rails. Gophers at least
- 25:18Speaker 3: they have the opportunity right now to keep the acts here,
- 25:21Speaker 3: beat Wisconsin next weekend and get a little bit of
- 25:24Speaker 3: momentum and maybe a somewhat decent Bowl game. And the Vikings,
- 25:30Speaker 3: like I said, they just gotta get going because it's
- 25:36Speaker 3: about to get very interesting. Three hundred million dollars they
- 25:39Speaker 3: got tied up in this team of signings. Games aren't
- 25:43Speaker 3: getting easier. Well, no game is easy at this point,
- 25:48Speaker 3: to be perfectly honest with you, Like I said, next
- 25:50Speaker 3: week Seattle, they have Washington coming in the week after that,
- 25:55Speaker 3: and then they're down in Dallas. So stay tuned, folks,
- 26:03Speaker 3: it's gonna get interesting. Timberwolves a couple nights ago, up
- 26:08Speaker 3: by eight under a minute left, lose the game, give
- 26:11Speaker 3: up nine points out of nowhere. You know early, you
- 26:15Speaker 3: know it's early still, so we're not gonna get too
- 26:18Speaker 3: bent up over that. But a lot of good Timberwolves
- 26:22Speaker 3: talk coming your way, and when we're working on some
- 26:24Speaker 3: guests here for wild and Timberwolves talk here on the
- 26:28Speaker 3: Sports Done Right podcast coming up, but I just wanted
- 26:32Speaker 3: to get on the air tonight because this football situation
- 26:36Speaker 3: really needs to be talked about, and it sucks because
- 26:40Speaker 3: that's all anybody is talking about right now. It's overshadowing
- 26:43Speaker 3: the wild and what they're doing. But you know, this
- 26:46Speaker 3: is a Viking state, and when the Vikings suck, everybody
- 26:52Speaker 3: is in a bad mood. So with that being said,
- 26:55Speaker 3: I am Vinced Right, the Sports Governor. I want to
- 26:57Speaker 3: thank you for tuning in to the Sports Done Right pocks.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Want to thank everybody for supporting this show over the
- 27:03Speaker 3: past while ten plus years we've been doing Sports done
- 27:06Speaker 3: Right incredible, So big shout out to everybody out there,
- 27:10Speaker 3: thank you for your support. I am Vince Right. We
- 27:13Speaker 3: will be talking to you soon. Peace.
- 27:18Speaker 2: You can get your sports scattered, smothered or covered, but
- 27:22Speaker 2: why would you
- 27:23Speaker 4: When you can get your sports done right.
