- 0:01Speaker 1: Prats. How was the bank popping popping?
- 0:06Speaker 2: Not a seat to be not a seat to be had.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I don't understand.
- 0:08Speaker 3: It says to sellout, But there were seats all there
- 0:12Speaker 3: were seats next to me, had great seats, had a
- 0:14Speaker 3: great time. I got to send some of my younger
- 0:16Speaker 3: sons some videos. You know, my son's their travel games.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Maybe AJ doesn't do this, You go up there to
- 0:23Speaker 3: the fence and your video. So I sent some of
- 0:26Speaker 3: my kids.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You don't. I'm sure AJ doesn't do that.
- 0:29Speaker 3: They have they have people following their team, but you
- 0:32Speaker 3: send them, you make the videos, and then you send
- 0:34Speaker 3: them out to colleges for recruiting. So I did that
- 0:37Speaker 3: for Alec Baum and Big Dumper so they can hopefully
- 0:40Speaker 3: get a scholarship to to a nice college someday.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I hope. So.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I mean, I can honestly say I never did that,
- 0:50Speaker 2: and maybe I was in the minority. I mean, probably
- 0:52Speaker 2: I should have, but I never did the video.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Thing, video of the kids and sending it to the
- 0:58Speaker 4: school's situation.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I just never did see it. I just never did it.
- 1:05Speaker 2: My son didn't care, and I just didn't do it.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And I don't think it helps our hurts and recruiting
- 1:12Speaker 2: because I feel like if the coach likes you and
- 1:14Speaker 2: he hears about you, come see you anyway. So I
- 1:16Speaker 2: didn't know that it would. Yeah, maybe maybe I'm wrong
- 1:20Speaker 2: in that, but some people send them all the time
- 1:22Speaker 2: and they coaches just go.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Also depends. I mean, we don't care you're in a
- 1:26Speaker 1: hot spot.
- 1:27Speaker 4: What if you're in a spot that's not very hot
- 1:30Speaker 4: and you feel like you're not getting the right well, I.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Feel like, you know, Crowds's kids playing enough tournaments around
- 1:35Speaker 2: the country. I mean he was in where it was
- 1:37Speaker 2: Massachusetts and Bounce I've seen him in Atlanta. I mean,
- 1:40Speaker 2: if you're in enough tournaments, the kids will be seen. Plus,
- 1:44Speaker 2: you know, listen, air Crafts, your name is air Crafts
- 1:47Speaker 2: and you're you're on a national television show. You played
- 1:51Speaker 2: in the big leagues for a while. If you call
- 1:53Speaker 2: up a college coach and say hey, I'm air Crafts.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I played in the big leagues, most of them are
- 1:56Speaker 2: going to call you back.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I agree.
- 2:00Speaker 4: The real problem I had with last night was where's
- 2:03Speaker 4: the Durantela video? Did you post anything on your socials?
- 2:06Speaker 4: Did you enjoy the moment? Were you one of those
- 2:09Speaker 4: enjoyed the concert. Who actually puts the phone down, which
- 2:12Speaker 4: is what I have been doing very frequently lately. Like
- 2:15Speaker 4: no phone. It either doesn't come with you, or it's
- 2:18Speaker 4: in your back pocket or whatever, and you're just there
- 2:21Speaker 4: for the durantula experience. The John Duran ninth Ending Entrance.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it without my phone. They
- 2:28Speaker 3: do have a thing on the screen. Now, I've never
- 2:30Speaker 3: seen this.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:30Speaker 3: It always says like phones out, lights on, that kind
- 2:33Speaker 3: of thing. So when the lights go out, everybody's phone.
- 2:36Speaker 2: It looks cool.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Now they have a QR code on the screen that
- 2:39Speaker 3: you can scan. I have no idea what it was
- 2:42Speaker 3: because they then my phone out. But there's a QR code,
- 2:45Speaker 3: not unlike the Phillies QR code down at the bottom
- 2:47Speaker 3: here Philly show. But you scan it and something comes up.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I don't know. But from when I went an alumni
- 2:55Speaker 3: day two Sundays ago till now, the Phillies have kind of,
- 3:00Speaker 3: uh it tweaked the cinematronics on the like the picture
- 3:04Speaker 3: the Tarantula's there's a bunch of durantulas that are going
- 3:08Speaker 3: all over the screen. The one from The Twins was
- 3:11Speaker 3: kind of it was cool. The new one from the Phillies.
- 3:15Speaker 3: It's kind of a creepy spider like it's that's awesome.
- 3:19Speaker 2: What it does if you do the QR code is
- 3:21Speaker 2: it sinks your phone to the light show. That's what
- 3:23Speaker 2: you're supposed to do. That's what they want so you
- 3:26Speaker 2: can see get the QR code sinks your phone. So
- 3:28Speaker 2: like when the lights bounce, your phone does the same thing.
- 3:31Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 3:32Speaker 3: The lights on your phone, yeah, will match it.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's cool. Why they do that? And then also,
- 3:39Speaker 2: did you yell at Robertson? No.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I took a picture of him fielding a swinging bunch
- 3:44Speaker 3: and I just put underneath of it Mini van and
- 3:47Speaker 3: I sent it to him.
- 3:48Speaker 2: He thought it was funny. I'm sure he got it.
- 3:50Speaker 4: He got his wish. You got the win and you
- 3:54Speaker 4: got to see Durantela for the first time. It was
- 3:56Speaker 4: like the perfect day for krats to hit the ballpark.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Duran retired seventeen of nineteen six saves since he was acquired,
- 4:03Speaker 4: Alvarado was reinstated. Christopher Sanchez was a g It was
- 4:07Speaker 4: a good day for you.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Only one guy struggled, Kirk, Yeah, he was the only
- 4:11Speaker 2: one that really had enough.
- 4:13Speaker 1: To have saved him.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Christopher Sanchez first pitch strikes to twenty six of twenty
- 4:19Speaker 4: seven hitters.
- 4:20Speaker 2: He is knocked that we couldn't throw enough strikes. That's
- 4:22Speaker 2: why he was in the bullpen all of a sudden.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Now he can throw lots of strikes. Big improved its
- 4:26Speaker 2: eleven and four with a two something.
- 4:28Speaker 4: He's got good numbers, and they're gonna rely on him
- 4:30Speaker 4: because we don't know the deal with Wheeler.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Dude, Okay, so I'm gonna say this about wheel I
- 4:33Speaker 2: don't know this, okay, but I saw a guy today
- 4:36Speaker 2: that had kind of the same thing that Wheeler had.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I don't know if it's the same thing or not.
- 4:41Speaker 2: He had a he had aneurysms. He had an aneurysm
- 4:44Speaker 2: in his shoulder. He was a right handed pitcher, pitchers
- 4:46Speaker 2: in big leagues for a long time, and he got
- 4:48Speaker 2: blood clots in his fingers so he couldn't feel it.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So they had to go in and take care of
- 4:51Speaker 2: the aneurysm in his shoulder. Now, I don't know if
- 4:53Speaker 2: that's the same thing. He was out for eight months.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I'm not saying that's what Wheeler's looking at. He's done
- 4:58Speaker 2: for the year. I'm just saying that he told me
- 4:59Speaker 2: we had conversation about it. I'm like, didn't you have
- 5:02Speaker 2: and he said, yes, I did, but it was it
- 5:04Speaker 2: wasn't exactly. He didn't think it was the same thing.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Wheeler things around the shoulder here, right, Yeah, he's.
- 5:09Speaker 2: He had a scar on his shoulder where they had
- 5:11Speaker 2: to go in and fix the eneurism. But he was
- 5:12Speaker 2: getting blood. He couldn't feel his fingers. Yeah, so I
- 5:15Speaker 2: don't know if that's the same thing that Wheeler has
- 5:17Speaker 2: or not. But he said eight months. He's like, because
- 5:19Speaker 2: if it's even close to what I had, He's like,
- 5:21Speaker 2: there's no way he's pitching again. This again not saying
- 5:24Speaker 2: so everyone's relaxed, but I'm not saying that's what Wheeler has.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But he was just giving me background on what he had.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, they haven't said anything yet. You know, obviously the.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Biggest thing he had to get feeling back in his fingers.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It took a long time to get feelings back in
- 5:39Speaker 2: his fingers.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't pitch if that's the problem of your fingers.
- 5:44Speaker 2: But that's also the thing is why haven't the Phillies
- 5:49Speaker 2: given us a.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Timetable because they might not know yet or okay, or
- 5:55Speaker 4: it's a little bleak, so you don't want to necessarily
- 5:57Speaker 4: share it if there's a five percent chance, you know,
- 6:00Speaker 4: to say there's a five percent chance, but probably they
- 6:03Speaker 4: did it, and then he does the check up after
- 6:05Speaker 4: and yeah, to be continued.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but Wheeler, I'm with you, ft fam.

- 7:11Speaker 1: All right, let's get to the Yanks.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Let's charge them out, charge them out. They did this
- 7:20Speaker 4: on March twenty ninth, Nine home runs in one game.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Torpedo back.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That's the headline. Say it again, that's the headline.
- 7:29Speaker 2: They finally found the torpedo bats. The sonar found the
- 7:32Speaker 2: torpedo The left later yep, jumping last, Shane Bos was shamee.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Bos was not happy to be a pitching as these
- 7:43Speaker 2: guys last night.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Wait, so, what's the conspiracy theory? Crats?
- 7:46Speaker 4: They used them right off of spring training, and they
- 7:48Speaker 4: ordered more and they just never made it to anywhere.
- 7:51Speaker 4: And it was at spring training they get to their
- 7:53Speaker 4: spring training home in Tampa, they picked them up and
- 7:55Speaker 4: then they hit nine homers.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm kidding.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Also just as a as a preface here, but what's
- 8:01Speaker 4: your what's your joke?
- 8:03Speaker 3: No, my joke would be my conspiracy theory would be
- 8:06Speaker 3: maybe the Rays need to check for some speakers in
- 8:10Speaker 3: the in the facility somewhere. Maybe they knew what was
- 8:15Speaker 3: coming because they heard their pregame just saying it's there,
- 8:19Speaker 3: it's their home. Maybe they should do a sweep or
- 8:22Speaker 3: do their meetings outside in the heat.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Oh no, that's some conspiracy stuff. That's some good stuff.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I mean, I like it. I like it.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Or maybe or maybe if you look at every one
- 8:37Speaker 3: of those pitches, of those nine home runs, maybe there's
- 8:40Speaker 3: a consistent theme of where those pitches were. And the
- 8:46Speaker 3: Yankees know they were trying to go apple. How many
- 8:50Speaker 3: how many opposite field home runs as Jason Domingos have
- 8:53Speaker 3: hitting right handed? I think that was one last night. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 3: there was a concerted effort to go to right field.
- 9:03Speaker 3: They know that park.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Well, right exactly. They know that park well.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Maybe some of the guys stayed in their own house too,
- 9:10Speaker 3: down down in Tampa. You know, some of them might
- 9:12Speaker 3: have a place, don't. I don't know that for sure.
- 9:15Speaker 3: But look, you're not gonna hit nine home runs every night.
- 9:18Speaker 3: But they came out and the ball was, like Ajay said,
- 9:23Speaker 3: the ball was jumping and g is g is you
- 9:28Speaker 3: gotta find a way to keep him in the lineup
- 9:30Speaker 3: and healthy. I get it, but he's swinging it right now.
- 9:34Speaker 3: He's not quite playoff g but he is swinging it.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I think a good way to keep him in the
- 9:38Speaker 4: lineup would be they had Judge into the outfield as
- 9:42Speaker 4: quickly as possible.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but here's the thing about Stanton. Stanton always goes
- 9:45Speaker 2: like this. When he's hot, he is hot as anything,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and then he goes then he goes to a slumper.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Fans are like, I get him out, he's done, and
- 9:51Speaker 2: then a week later he's hitting ten homers in seven games.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That's just the way Stanton is and that's the way
- 9:56Speaker 2: he's build. That's fine.
- 9:58Speaker 4: The playoffs alone last year should shut everyone up for
- 10:02Speaker 4: a long time.
- 10:04Speaker 2: His performance, agreed, agreed. Just keep him healthy, figure out
- 10:07Speaker 2: a way to keep him healthy, and if Aaron Judge
- 10:09Speaker 2: is right, he's going to be back soon. Not according
- 10:11Speaker 2: to Aaron Bone, but according to what.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Aaron Judge said, back for a minute.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Adam Jones at the Padres game last night, this actually
- 10:18Speaker 4: happened twice last night with fans rush in the field.
- 10:21Speaker 4: They said it was the first time they think it
- 10:23Speaker 4: happened all year. At a home game, and this one
- 10:26Speaker 4: involved a kid. Clearly, I mean, unless it's somebody that
- 10:29Speaker 4: just looks incredibly young, skincroutine.
- 10:32Speaker 2: But what are we doing?
- 10:34Speaker 4: Luis or ees like, hey, let's not kill the kid
- 10:37Speaker 4: on the field at the same time where the parents at.
- 10:42Speaker 2: At the same time. Don't jump on the field because
- 10:44Speaker 2: if you get killed, that's your own fault. Don't jump
- 10:46Speaker 2: on the field.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I agree.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I mean it's like you should KILLI.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Right, not literally, but like securities knocking pretty good in fairness,
- 10:54Speaker 4: security is not going to be like, wait, hold up,
- 10:56Speaker 4: someone rushed the field.
- 10:57Speaker 1: They might be fourteen.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Let's let them go a little bit or see if
- 11:00Speaker 4: they'll hold our hands, like the kids trying to dodge people.
- 11:03Speaker 1: It is what it is. Where's your parent true?
- 11:07Speaker 2: True? Where are the people parents responsible?
- 11:09Speaker 4: If a kid who's twelve, you know, punches Timmy at
- 11:13Speaker 4: school and freaking knocks him out, as Timmy's obviously in trouble,
- 11:17Speaker 4: but your parents are responsible for the kid?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Sorry about it? Hmm our eyes crats.
- 11:24Speaker 2: On the field. Don't be an idiot, basically, don't.
- 11:26Speaker 4: You don't be People are like, oh, well, he's a kid,
- 11:28Speaker 4: Oh so kids can jump on the field.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Now I have two of them have been idiots at
- 11:32Speaker 2: times too. Trust me, if you have a kid, you know, yeah,
- 11:35Speaker 2: every kid can be an idiot at times.
- 11:37Speaker 3: They need to be punished. It's okay, that's not but
- 11:39Speaker 3: that's Scott. Sorry, that's not the world we live in now.
- 11:42Speaker 3: It's well, it's okay, we'll figure it out.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Everyone gets now three years in prison for that kid, please,
- 11:50Speaker 4: I'm kidding.
- 11:51Speaker 2: But Big Trouble and the Astros scored any runs.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Okay?
- 12:00Speaker 4: Part two Hot Corner Tommy Fam versus the Blue.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Jays, Buddy Tommy favers the world.
- 12:07Speaker 4: So we did a segment on this. We were reacting
- 12:11Speaker 4: live to things that were going on. So obviously in
- 12:14Speaker 4: the comments of the video that was posted later on,
- 12:17Speaker 4: people are like, yo, it's this, It's that. It's like,
- 12:20Speaker 4: I got it. Things were happening live. Now we've since
- 12:23Speaker 4: gotten more quotes to add to the table. This was
- 12:27Speaker 4: the original spark Tommy Fam on social media telling a
- 12:33Speaker 4: random fan that the profile picture of Addison Barger is
- 12:37Speaker 4: of someone who takes steroids. Loser words from Tommy Fam
- 12:42Speaker 4: after he had gotten into it with Heinemann and the
- 12:44Speaker 4: Blue Jays. Mitch Bannon, who covers the Jays said he
- 12:48Speaker 4: spoke with Barger before yesterday's game and wanted it clarified
- 12:52Speaker 4: that he was suspended for a stimulant, not a steroid.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Fifty games in twenty nineteen, I thought restricted list CHATCHYBT
- 12:59Speaker 4: was wrong. Couldn't find anything, but there was an article
- 13:01Speaker 4: saying he did get suspended, but it was a stimulant,
- 13:03Speaker 4: not a steroid, and Barger said he's been tested every
- 13:06Speaker 4: year since, as every player is with no discipline since Well,
- 13:11Speaker 4: Tommy wasn't done stop by the Pirates clubhouse. Keegan Matheson did.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Who covers the Jays fam didn't want to elaborate on
- 13:20Speaker 4: his post after last night's game, but he made it
- 13:22Speaker 4: clear he stands by them and wanted this note to
- 13:25Speaker 4: be passed along. Quote let them know I speak in facts.
- 13:30Speaker 1: This is WWE.
- 13:33Speaker 2: It's unbelievable. It's awesome. I mean, it's great for the
- 13:36Speaker 2: game because people are talking about it.
- 13:38Speaker 1: But what if you're Barger. Okay, Well, Barger did what.
- 13:40Speaker 2: He had to do, and he stood up and said
- 13:42Speaker 2: it wasn't for steroids. It was still it was for
- 13:44Speaker 2: another PD, which is stimulants.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Right, But you guys both played right and you were
- 13:48Speaker 4: involved in plenty of not this, but back and forth
- 13:50Speaker 4: right fun stuff that we followed a lot, and there.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Was never I was never really that. There was never
- 13:56Speaker 2: really that much back and forth between players on other teams.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It wasn't because.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Most of the time trash talk in the games, but
- 14:04Speaker 4: not like that, never in the media like this. So
- 14:06Speaker 4: so then take me through this part right, This is
- 14:08Speaker 4: the second portion of the saga. Barger clarifies, I got
- 14:13Speaker 4: suspended for a stimulant, not a PD, which is still
- 14:15Speaker 4: against the rules. Fam stands by what he says. If
- 14:18Speaker 4: you're Barger, are you like, hey, I'm squashing this. I'm
- 14:21Speaker 4: not answering about this anymore. I said my piece. And
- 14:24Speaker 4: behind the scenes, are you still super pissed because you're like,
- 14:27Speaker 4: why is this guy?
- 14:29Speaker 2: I said what he said. He said the truth, which
- 14:30Speaker 2: is he wasn't suspended for steroids because he said steroids.
- 14:33Speaker 2: It wasn't steroids, it was something else.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But Tommy Fam said, I speak in facts.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I mean what everybody has. Listen, everybody has their own
- 14:44Speaker 2: reality in life. And some people I played with people,
- 14:48Speaker 2: not saying this about Tommy Fam, but I played with
- 14:49Speaker 2: some people that I could sit here and tell them
- 14:52Speaker 2: that my hat was black and they thought it was white,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and they will die on that sword thinking that my
- 14:57Speaker 2: hat is white.
- 14:58Speaker 1: You play with some flat earthers.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I don't. Yeah, I'm sure I probably did that, but
- 15:02Speaker 2: I'm just saying there are people and crats played with
- 15:03Speaker 2: them too. No matter what you tell them, their opinion
- 15:06Speaker 2: is always right and you could be dead on correct
- 15:08Speaker 2: and they're like, no, that's not right. I don't believe it.
- 15:11Speaker 2: And you're like, well, dude, my hat is black. It's
- 15:13Speaker 2: not white. It's black, but they wouldn't believe it no
- 15:17Speaker 2: matter what you told. So hey, whatever, that's what makes it.
- 15:20Speaker 2: World go around, different strokes for different folks.
- 15:23Speaker 3: We we do love when somebody says something with their
- 15:26Speaker 3: chest and Tommy fam said it.
- 15:28Speaker 2: With his chest.
- 15:31Speaker 4: He says everything with his chest. So krats, if you're Barger,
- 15:38Speaker 4: what do you do? What are your thoughts after you
- 15:40Speaker 4: hear the comeback?
- 15:41Speaker 1: To the comeback?
- 15:43Speaker 3: I mean he said, I like how Barger was not like, oh,
- 15:46Speaker 3: I'm not going to comment on it because then everyone's
- 15:48Speaker 3: like speculation of whoa what was it?
- 15:50Speaker 2: He said it?
- 15:51Speaker 3: It was a stimulant whatever classify classification that is, it's
- 15:56Speaker 3: still performance enhancing Tommy Fam wasn't afraid of backing from that.
- 16:01Speaker 3: As Barger, I'd be like, you know, you just got
- 16:05Speaker 3: you kind of check that guy off your list. Tommy
- 16:08Speaker 3: Fam might be writing him on his list. Actually, I
- 16:10Speaker 3: think Tyler Heineman's on his list. And then we found
- 16:12Speaker 3: out today Gerriy Sheffield Junior's on Tommy FAM's list. Tommy's
- 16:16Speaker 3: list is getting is getting bigger. But if I'm Barger,
- 16:20Speaker 3: I'm like whatever, like I have to, I said my part.
- 16:25Speaker 3: If somebody comes back up to me again, I'll say, look,
- 16:28Speaker 3: I said what I said. I don't know what he's
- 16:31Speaker 3: talking about. He has his right to his own opinions.
- 16:34Speaker 3: You just kind of squash it. But you're not like
- 16:36Speaker 3: I don't think Barger's gonna sit there and be like,
- 16:38Speaker 3: I'm getting that guy. I don't care if he's Tommy Fam.
- 16:41Speaker 3: He defamed me by saying I did steroids, like he
- 16:44Speaker 3: came out and said he didn't. They published it, Keith
- 16:47Speaker 3: and Thompson published it, or Keithen Matheson published it, And
- 16:52Speaker 3: so to me, he doesn't have anything. He doesn't have
- 16:54Speaker 3: to go back, he doesn't have to comment on the
- 16:56Speaker 3: comment of the comment.
- 16:59Speaker 4: The one thing that I want to throw in here
- 17:02Speaker 4: from my experience covering the player and my experience talking
- 17:05Speaker 4: to other players, is that when Tommy fam is on
- 17:08Speaker 4: your team, he is I don't want to say beloved,
- 17:12Speaker 4: but he is well respected.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Guys enjoy him as a teammate.
- 17:16Speaker 2: He comes to play every day and there that you
- 17:20Speaker 2: cannot replicate. That brings an intensity. He who was it
- 17:25Speaker 2: the Mets last year that they talked about when fam
- 17:27Speaker 2: was there, how much he meant and what he taught them,
- 17:29Speaker 2: and how he taught them how to work like guys
- 17:31Speaker 2: like lind Dorrince. We're talking about that. It's a big compliment.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Now he starts crap, but with other teams, right, so
- 17:41Speaker 4: when he's on your corner, when he's in your corner,
- 17:44Speaker 4: I mean, sure, do the Pirates want to get in
- 17:47Speaker 4: a fight with the Blue Jays right now over war words?
- 17:49Speaker 4: Probably not. But my point is that tons of comments
- 17:53Speaker 4: are filled with how is this guy still in the league,
- 17:55Speaker 4: you know, as if he's committing a crime or something
- 17:58Speaker 4: like that, And I'm like, I don't think you understand
- 17:59Speaker 4: that the guys that play with him generally love him.
- 18:03Speaker 2: And he's usually and he's been a pretty productive player too.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Yeah, productive player.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And also when you meet him in person, I don't
- 18:11Speaker 4: think he is who you expect him to be. Right,
- 18:14Speaker 4: He's like one of the most calm guys. His voice
- 18:17Speaker 4: is calm, am.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I wrong.
- 18:20Speaker 2: No, I've known Tommy. I've played with Tommy came up
- 18:22Speaker 2: in twenty fourteen. I've known for ten eleven years now,
- 18:26Speaker 2: and I've told you the story about how he helped
- 18:27Speaker 2: my son, and I couldn't have been a better guy.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So till so, the way I'll say this to the
- 18:33Speaker 2: day I died. Listen, he's funny, he says some things,
- 18:36Speaker 2: but Tommy, you were always good to my kid, and
- 18:39Speaker 2: for that you'll always have my respect.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it.
- 18:42Speaker 2: That's it. And every time I see him, he asked
- 18:44Speaker 2: about my son. How's he doing? His eyes at what's
- 18:47Speaker 2: going on? And that's all you can ask for. He
- 18:49Speaker 2: was good to me as a teammate. I mean, he
- 18:50Speaker 2: was a rookie and he was good. He was there,
- 18:54Speaker 2: he did the right things. And now he's got ten
- 18:56Speaker 2: plus years in this league, been on a lot of teams.
- 18:58Speaker 2: But one thing I'll tell you about how I mean,
- 19:00Speaker 2: he has always been good to me. So I will
- 19:02Speaker 2: you won't hear me saything bad about tom and krats.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Ninety nine point nine percent of the people that go
- 19:06Speaker 4: after him with their Twitter muscles would not hold up
- 19:09Speaker 4: well in a cage match. I feel like some people
- 19:13Speaker 4: don't realize he's a big dude, even height wise, Like
- 19:17Speaker 4: I don't know. When I first saw him on TV,
- 19:19Speaker 4: I thought he was like five to ten, and then
- 19:21Speaker 4: I met him in person, He's like six to two.
- 19:24Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm obviously I'm not defending what he did
- 19:27Speaker 4: on this case. My point Kratz is that he is
- 19:31Speaker 4: on teams for a reason, and I think that reason
- 19:34Speaker 4: is overlooked by many that just catch a viral moment.
- 19:38Speaker 3: There's front office, there's front office people that are afraid
- 19:41Speaker 3: to have a Tommy Fam on the team because Tommy
- 19:44Speaker 3: Fam the intensity they showed there. Whether if I was
- 19:49Speaker 3: coaching him and he was a high school kid, I
- 19:52Speaker 3: would say what he said to Tyler Hanneman was out
- 19:55Speaker 3: of line. You shouldn't say fu too a catcher for
- 19:59Speaker 3: you know, arguing that whatever. But that intensity is brought
- 20:04Speaker 3: every single day. You said before, You're like, oh, he
- 20:06Speaker 3: just pisses off other teams. That's not Tommy Fam. Doesn't
- 20:10Speaker 3: like put on this like mask for games and like
- 20:14Speaker 3: turn into the incredible Hult. He's that intense with everything.
- 20:18Speaker 3: When we used to work in the cage. If anybody's
- 20:20Speaker 3: ever seen the cage underneath in Tampa at the trap,
- 20:25Speaker 3: it is like a cave. Like the ceiling. They literally
- 20:28Speaker 3: have to tighten the left side of the cage so
- 20:31Speaker 3: it doesn't so it doesn't hit the ceiling.
- 20:33Speaker 2: It's really low, so you feel like you're in this cave.
- 20:36Speaker 3: And when Tommy would come into the cage, he would
- 20:40Speaker 3: just like his intensity and his work, he would get
- 20:44Speaker 3: pissed at himself just as much as he would get
- 20:46Speaker 3: pissed at another team doing something that he didn't agree with,
- 20:49Speaker 3: or he would get pissed at somebody else in the
- 20:53Speaker 3: cage who was who was messing around and like not
- 20:56Speaker 3: taking it seriously. So there's there's an intense that once
- 21:00Speaker 3: he gets to the ballpark, he parks his truck, goes
- 21:04Speaker 3: in and it's business. And I think when situations like
- 21:07Speaker 3: this show up, people look at it like, Oh, he's
- 21:09Speaker 3: just trying to start stuff.
- 21:10Speaker 2: No, he's just.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Not letting anybody get in the way of him.
- 21:15Speaker 4: M for Blue Jays fans, they are like, hey, we
- 21:17Speaker 4: want to just keep having an absolute blast enjoying our
- 21:20Speaker 4: team in our season. For Pirates fans, this team has
- 21:23Speaker 4: been irrelevant for months and really for many years. So
- 21:27Speaker 4: Tommy fam is leading the charge.
- 21:29Speaker 2: For the headline traded.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah. I think he could be a dump deadline guy
- 21:36Speaker 1: in a week and a.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Half because he's a little bit of money picked him up.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 4: I mean, for Bob Nutting, could be a no brainer
- 21:44Speaker 4: unless he's like, hey, I like this guy.
- 21:45Speaker 1: He's bringing us some pr in mid August.
- 21:48Speaker 2: He doesn't know who he is now.
- 21:50Speaker 4: He doesn't, but I do think that, Yeah, they'll they'll
- 21:53Speaker 4: probably put him on waivers, and it's not for the performance.
- 21:57Speaker 4: It's because he costs more than the league minimum and
- 22:00Speaker 4: another team can pick them up for the playoffs.
- 22:01Speaker 1: But we'll see what happens.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Okay, Kratz, I opened up Arena Club, put my own
- 22:06Speaker 4: money in there, and I wasn't gonna go big.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I know.
- 22:08Speaker 4: We went over the Ruby pack a week ago. This
- 22:11Speaker 4: time I just went for the low level pack where
- 22:14Speaker 4: it's an easy entry point twenty five bucks. You can
- 22:16Speaker 4: get yourself a big Boy card. The Grail has many
- 22:19Speaker 4: good options. I slice open the pack. We're looking at it.
- 22:22Speaker 4: If you're watching us right now and I pull a
- 22:24Speaker 4: card from the nineteen fifties, super cool. I enjoyed the
- 22:28Speaker 4: experience looking at it. It's Jim Gilliam, It's the top
- 22:31Speaker 4: set from the mid fifties.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It's cool. It's a Brooklyn Dodger. But it's worth more
- 22:37Speaker 1: than the card. Like I said, I'm gonna sell it back.
- 22:39Speaker 4: I got twenty eight bucks instantly, so I can buy
- 22:41Speaker 4: another one of those packs and try and get what
- 22:43Speaker 4: I want.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Absolutely the excitement I heard Kip say it before. The
- 22:48Speaker 3: excitement's in the chase. You sold it back. Now you
- 22:51Speaker 3: get to open another one. I enjoy when you slide
- 22:53Speaker 3: it across the screen there and the pack opens.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You know where to go.
- 22:57Speaker 4: Arenaclub dot com slash foul twenty percent off your first
- 23:00Speaker 4: slab packer card purchase.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Get after it. Welcome to the show, Bubba Chandler.
- 23:04Speaker 4: And by the way, on the Baseball America YouTube channel,
- 23:06Speaker 4: we have a prospect profile with more information about one
- 23:09Speaker 4: of the top pitching prospects in the sport.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Ohiles broke this news.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Alex Stumf adding to the cause here he covers the
- 23:15Speaker 4: team for MLB dot Com. Ohiles is fantastic who breaks
- 23:19Speaker 4: a lot of Pirates news these day. Pittsburgh Post Gazette Anyway,
- 23:22Speaker 4: I'll read this from Alex Bubba. Chandler will be used
- 23:24Speaker 4: as a bulk reliever with the Pirates, and by the way,
- 23:26Speaker 4: he's getting called up Friday, the team views him as
- 23:28Speaker 4: a starter long term. He can get starts this year,
- 23:30Speaker 4: but the club wants him to get major league experience,
- 23:32Speaker 4: and this is consistent with the role and expectations of
- 23:34Speaker 4: other young pitchers like Ashcraft.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'd rather see him start, Sam Sam.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It's it's the Pirates.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I'd rather see him start. It's you can control his
- 23:45Speaker 2: innings better. I feel like as a starter, you're gonna
- 23:47Speaker 2: put him in, but you want to see if he's
- 23:48Speaker 2: going to be a long term starter. Why not let
- 23:50Speaker 2: him start.
- 23:50Speaker 1: There's five weeks left in the season. Begin the game.
- 23:54Speaker 4: What's the worst that happens, Like the top of the
- 23:56Speaker 4: order gets a couple runs off of him. Great, you're
- 23:59Speaker 4: gonna have to deal with that as a starter.
- 24:04Speaker 2: I don't.
- 24:04Speaker 3: I don't like it either, because one of the things
- 24:07Speaker 3: he struggled with this year was his command. He had
- 24:10Speaker 3: a banger April I think even one Pitcher of the
- 24:13Speaker 3: month for the International League.
- 24:16Speaker 2: And then they you know, they let him.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Squander in the minor leagues and his command and he's
- 24:21Speaker 3: been a great command guy and he kind of lost
- 24:24Speaker 3: his command. Now you're gonna throw him out of the pen,
- 24:26Speaker 3: which when I look at his stats, he has not
- 24:30Speaker 3: ever done. Oh no, I'm sorry. He did it three times.
- 24:35Speaker 3: He did it three times. He's thrown out of the
- 24:37Speaker 3: bullpen three times. Like I just I don't see it.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I don't see the reasoning.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I'm with you.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Hey, congratulations to Tarik Schooble to enter strikeouts. Also, while
- 24:48Speaker 4: we're on this series, yesterday was awesome Schooble versus Brown,
- 24:51Speaker 4: dealing two best starters in the al right now right?
- 24:54Speaker 4: Two threes eras for both of them. But what the
- 24:57Speaker 4: hell is going on with the ash.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Shows you might run again? Already down six?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Do you know what the scoreless streak's at?
- 25:03Speaker 2: They's been over three games now.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Thirty and in this game that's going on right now
- 25:09Speaker 4: around third, fran Rivaldez couldn't get out. It's already six
- 25:11Speaker 4: nothing Detroit in five minutes. Yeah, what is going on?
- 25:15Speaker 2: But game last night it was fun to watch Hunter Brown,
- 25:17Speaker 2: thank you for covering my k prop walk off walk,
- 25:20Speaker 2: walk off walk. By the way, the bullpens banged up,
- 25:23Speaker 2: there's no offense for Houston promise. You can't win a
- 25:28Speaker 2: game either.
- 25:28Speaker 4: That is potentially going to be covered later in the show.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Seattle can't wait to get back to the West Coast.
- 25:33Speaker 5: Seattle can't win a game?
- 25:34Speaker 6: Now?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Who else can't win a game?
- 25:35Speaker 4: The Rangers al West is crumbling? One more I wanted
- 25:42Speaker 4: to throw out here about this series. Kyle Finnegan's numbers
- 25:46Speaker 4: since joining the team eight and two third shutouts, two innings,
- 25:49Speaker 4: two hits, one walk, eleven strikeouts. I didn't like their
- 25:53Speaker 4: overall set of moves. We did like that one bingo.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Charlie Morton's been good for him too.
- 25:59Speaker 1: That's true. That's true.
- 26:00Speaker 2: He's pitching today. He's been good for him too. He
- 26:03Speaker 2: was good for the O's before they trade him.
- 26:05Speaker 3: But Finn never never fit like he fits kind of
- 26:08Speaker 3: into the bullpen in the sense that he's kind of
- 26:10Speaker 3: like the other guys that they have not a lot
- 26:12Speaker 3: of punch outs. So far in the eight innings, he's
- 26:16Speaker 3: he's punching out more guys than he did before. Maybe
- 26:18Speaker 3: that's splitter. You don't get a few more strikeouts in
- 26:22Speaker 3: the American League. Maybe in CA America.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Who knows, Hey, Nathaniel logos to the Red Sox hit
- 26:29Speaker 4: a huge homer from them last night.
- 26:30Speaker 1: They ended up losing. That was a fun game. By
- 26:32Speaker 1: the way, it was a bad loss of chances.
- 26:36Speaker 2: I think they went over something with the runners in
- 26:39Speaker 2: score position. It was a bad, bad night for the
- 26:42Speaker 2: Red Sox.
- 26:44Speaker 1: It was a bad loss.
- 26:45Speaker 2: That's when them losses. You look back. He didn't win
- 26:47Speaker 2: the division or something by one game.
- 26:49Speaker 3: That's the game you look back to as a player
- 26:50Speaker 3: and you're like, gosh, someone just could have got a hit.
- 26:52Speaker 4: We would have won, right The Orioles were given it
- 26:54Speaker 4: to him again and again they're relievers.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Were walking guys.
- 26:57Speaker 1: They anymore doors walking on me, they walk off.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But it was a lot.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Kittridge hurt, Bautista hurt. They traded away Baker.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Or traded Sorry, Kittrid traded uh Domingos traded, Soto traded
- 27:10Speaker 4: Bautista's hurt.
- 27:12Speaker 1: They've got like none of their normal guys.
- 27:14Speaker 2: They had bas loaded.
- 27:15Speaker 4: By the way, Rinco Garcia was I texted you, guys.
- 27:18Speaker 4: It was one of the most impressive innings I've seen.
- 27:20Speaker 4: I mean he did like triple change ups for the strikeout,
- 27:22Speaker 4: tripled sliders for the strikeout of the next day B
- 27:25Speaker 4: But yeah, the Red Sox blew it.
- 27:31Speaker 1: In the weeds.
- 27:32Speaker 4: What's to deal with Aaron Judge and he's playing? Is
- 27:36Speaker 4: he going to be back to one hundred percent? Well,
- 27:40Speaker 4: it depends who you ask. We could start with the
- 27:42Speaker 4: Iron Boone comments on w fa N that began this discussion,
- 27:47Speaker 4: because then throughout the day we got another Boone comment,
- 27:50Speaker 4: we got another Judge comment, and we had plenty of
- 27:52Speaker 4: times since that game was in delay before they hit
- 27:54Speaker 4: a billion homers. So let's start with Aaron Boone in
- 27:57Speaker 4: the morning talking about Judge.
- 28:00Speaker 1: On a scale of one to ten without holding you
- 28:02Speaker 1: to it. Is he in six? Where is he at?
- 28:04Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 28:05Speaker 2: I think he threw out to one last time.
- 28:07Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, trying to get through where he can,
- 28:11Speaker 6: you know, let it go with ease and be able
- 28:13Speaker 6: to protect himself obviously. You know, I don't think we're
- 28:18Speaker 6: going to see him back to like throwing like he
- 28:21Speaker 6: normally does at any point this year. But not okay too,
- 28:25Speaker 6: but we got to feel like he can go out
- 28:26Speaker 6: there and be able to protect himself and represent himself.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Okay, and then Judge on Boone's comments later on in
- 28:37Speaker 4: that day, I don't know why he said that he
- 28:39Speaker 4: hasn't seen me throw for the past two weeks, so
- 28:41Speaker 4: I'm pretty confident I'll get back to one.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Booney backtracked a little bit. Where's the boony quote? I mean,
- 28:52Speaker 1: he basically just said, maybe I overstated that.
- 28:58Speaker 2: We don't the trainers tell him what.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yes, But Judge was like, you haven't.
- 29:02Speaker 2: TV throw, But the trainers tell him, don't they?
- 29:05Speaker 1: You guys tell me.
- 29:06Speaker 2: I thought, It's not like the manager goes out and
- 29:08Speaker 2: watches every person do their rehab.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Nope, trainers and manager and the general manager or if
- 29:19Speaker 3: the general managers not their assistant general manager. They all
- 29:22Speaker 3: sit down and they all go over all the injuries,
- 29:24Speaker 3: the injury report. Everybody's up to date on where everybody's at.
- 29:29Speaker 3: So I'm sure Boonie just got told that. Maybe maybe
- 29:34Speaker 3: Boonie was trying to make sure like when he gets
- 29:37Speaker 3: out there, other teams are like, hey, we're gonna run
- 29:39Speaker 3: on Judge, and Judge He's like, no, no, no, that's
- 29:41Speaker 3: not gonna happen.
- 29:45Speaker 2: I don't know, don't think it's wild to me, But
- 29:48Speaker 2: I hope Aaron Judge comes back full strength. Don't we
- 29:51Speaker 2: all hope he comes back full strength? Oh? Yeah, yeah.
- 29:53Speaker 4: So Chris Kirshner covers the Yankees for The Athletic. He said,
- 30:00Speaker 4: Judges Batsby has remained the same pre and post injury,
- 30:03Speaker 4: but the contact quality metrics are vastly different. It's obviously
- 30:06Speaker 4: small sample size since returning, but something to monitor moving forward.
- 30:12Speaker 1: That actually happens for a lot of guys.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Contact quality metrics. Yeah, hear that in.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Your nineteen years a contact quality metrics. No, I'll tell
- 30:24Speaker 3: you how.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I'll tell you how I knew I was going to
- 30:25Speaker 2: have good quality contact is if I got hits or not.
- 30:28Speaker 2: That's when I knew I was having good quality contact.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I don't know about the metrics, but if I got it,
- 30:32Speaker 2: if I was getting hits, I was good. I don't know.
- 30:34Speaker 2: I don't I don't really care getting hits and haveing
- 30:36Speaker 2: good at bats.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Oh you know, I'm just gonna mention Krats.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Our friend Ninosorus put out a story this morning on
- 30:44Speaker 4: Frinando Tatiskauz. He's got a big power average that's been
- 30:47Speaker 4: going on. He said his contact point is to blame.
- 30:54Speaker 3: But oh wait, wait, he's not hitting the ball in
- 30:57Speaker 3: the air, so he's not hatching it out front as much.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Holy contracting more up? Oh yes, that's what he has
- 31:08Speaker 2: to do. Stump the barrel and swing more up. You
- 31:12Speaker 2: start swinging more up. No, get that. If you get
- 31:15Speaker 2: that thing I've seen where they tie the thing around
- 31:18Speaker 2: your neck and you have a little paddle, and you go,
- 31:21Speaker 2: that's the thing, the little thing around your neck. You
- 31:23Speaker 2: haven't seen that video, it's online?
- 31:25Speaker 1: What is it?
- 31:26Speaker 4: Like?
- 31:26Speaker 1: An upper cut promoter?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, they have like a they have like these one
- 31:29Speaker 2: of those little bands, you know, the little physio bands,
- 31:32Speaker 2: and they have like a little paddle and then all
- 31:33Speaker 2: these kids are going on one leg and they're going.
- 31:39Speaker 1: That's like a bobble bat that you don't want to
- 31:41Speaker 1: be a part of.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I never see anbody swing like that. Have you ever
- 31:43Speaker 2: seen anybody swing on one leg and go like this?
- 31:46Speaker 2: I don't even I don't even want to get into
- 31:48Speaker 2: that topic.
- 31:48Speaker 3: But Posaus is saying, is saying everything that I'm sure
- 31:54Speaker 3: every hitting coach or even tatists would be saying. Just
- 31:58Speaker 3: not elevating the ball enough. Why am I not elevating
- 32:00Speaker 3: the ball enough. Well, now we have a metric. Now
- 32:03Speaker 3: we have a you know, a high home whatever cam
- 32:07Speaker 3: of something to be able to tell you where your hawkeye,
- 32:11Speaker 3: where your contact point is. If your contact point is
- 32:16Speaker 3: you know, an inch or two too deep, you're gonna
- 32:19Speaker 3: hit the ball on the ground, You're gonna hit line drives.
- 32:21Speaker 3: If your contact point can get out front, you're going
- 32:25Speaker 3: to elevate the ball. It's all things quality, contact quality metric.
- 32:31Speaker 3: It just means AJ came back, Aaron Judge came back
- 32:35Speaker 3: from the IL, and he's a little rusty. But now
- 32:39Speaker 3: we have a word and we have metrics for rusty.
- 32:42Speaker 3: That's what happens. It's really hard to hit a round kit.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Reach my bat right now, round ball, round bat, especially
- 32:49Speaker 3: when you take time off, especially when you're sitting on
- 32:51Speaker 3: the bench, to consistently have contact quality metrics be where
- 32:57Speaker 3: they need to be to be an MVP candidate.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I know one thing. Judge is pretty old school with
- 33:03Speaker 1: this stuff. It's like, I'm good, guys'll be fun.
- 33:09Speaker 2: That means the next week he'll go ten for seven.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Yeah, he'll be okay. I mean he's still been great
- 33:17Speaker 4: compared to most players. He just for what the last
- 33:20Speaker 4: couple of weeks, isn't he's been at a Superstar less.
- 33:24Speaker 2: He's been fine. He'll be fine. Yeah, So let's let's
- 33:27Speaker 2: say that right now.
- 33:29Speaker 4: This isn't like the you know, the Kyle Tucker slump
- 33:32Speaker 4: that we talked a little bit about yesterday. Like he
- 33:35Speaker 4: he will be fine too, but he has been going
- 33:37Speaker 4: through a prolonged slump.
- 33:39Speaker 2: It happened.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Judge sets the bar up here, So if you're not
- 33:43Speaker 4: seeing a home or every other game, people are like,
- 33:45Speaker 4: what's wrong.
- 33:46Speaker 2: By the way, I don't know if this is true
- 33:47Speaker 2: or not. This is breaking news, not on the Judge,
- 33:49Speaker 2: but in the division. Felix Bautista is having had shoulder
- 33:53Speaker 2: surgery for rotator cuff. Where did you see that Oils
- 33:57Speaker 2: announce the raider Felix?
- 33:58Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know if it's true or armand
- 33:59Speaker 4: breaking news in the chat he's.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Usually so I means he's out for all of next year.
- 34:05Speaker 1: He's usually our news guy. But you gotta be careful.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I know, I'm just saying I said, I don't know
- 34:09Speaker 2: if it's true or not. I just said that I.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Did hear you say that. All I heard you said
- 34:13Speaker 3: was breaking news. Then I started making news.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I don't know if it's true or not.
- 34:16Speaker 4: On Oriols Twitter, I don't see it, but Armand's usually
- 34:20Speaker 4: pretty quick with it.
- 34:21Speaker 2: But that's crazy. That's true because that guy was a
- 34:26Speaker 2: huge piece.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Armond. We love you.
- 34:30Speaker 4: But from now on, what you gotta do is you
- 34:31Speaker 4: got to source it. Tell me where it's from so
- 34:34Speaker 4: I can see it. Is it Jake Real, j Drill
- 34:38Speaker 4: Jake Real?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Is Jake Rill or Drill Real, jakeril d Real Jake Real?
- 34:45Speaker 1: Okay, that's that's just a source.
- 34:47Speaker 4: Yeah, no, no, that is. I just want to know
- 34:49Speaker 4: where it is so I can find it. He's the
- 34:50Speaker 4: Orioles beat writer for MLB dot Com.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 3: By the way, you guys are doom scrolling like screen agers.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Judge his numbers. We got to make sure everybody judge's numbers.
- 35:01Speaker 3: He's hitting three thirty three with a four forty seven
- 35:05Speaker 3: on base percentage eleven thirty four ops. So when we
- 35:10Speaker 3: say Judge is slumping or his contact quality metrics are
- 35:16Speaker 3: not quite up to par of where he used to be,
- 35:19Speaker 3: it's okay, he'll be fine.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Did we just say he'll be fine? Yes, he's gonna go.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Like I said, he's gonna go. He's gonna go twenty
- 35:27Speaker 2: for ten the next to the next week, so he'll
- 35:29Speaker 2: be fine, agreed. I mean just means he's due to
- 35:33Speaker 2: get high. Judge is gonna be fine. I think the
- 35:35Speaker 2: more you know he gets some guys don't go on
- 35:37Speaker 2: rehabs anymore. So if you missed ten to two weeks
- 35:41Speaker 2: at the Big leaguers, they don't know. Guys don't really
- 35:43Speaker 2: go on rehab because they don't want to waste the
- 35:45Speaker 2: swings and the pitches on the.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Rehab, especially if it's Judge and his rehab is still
- 35:50Speaker 4: like an eight eighty ops.
- 35:52Speaker 1: So you take that all day in the big leagues.
- 35:56Speaker 3: FT fans, you wanna have confidence when you go out
- 35:59Speaker 3: in public. Absolutely, we can't all wear a backwards hat
- 36:02Speaker 3: like me. But you can get some true Classic fit shirts.
- 36:05Speaker 3: It almost looks like, oh wow, the shirt was tailored
- 36:08Speaker 3: for me. Nope, it's every true Classic. This John is soft,
- 36:13Speaker 3: it is smooth, and it makes you look a little jacked.
- 36:17Speaker 4: I'm just saying, and Crats, you are jacked and you
- 36:21Speaker 4: are spot on. True Classic is the spot to go.
- 36:23Speaker 4: If someone's like, where do I get shirts? True Classic?
- 36:26Speaker 4: The colors are fantastic. They've sold over twenty five million
- 36:30Speaker 4: shirts to more than five million customers. Their shirts just
- 36:33Speaker 4: win the feel, the tailored look, the price. We all
- 36:36Speaker 4: wear True Classic on FT. I mean cam Maven literally
- 36:40Speaker 4: can't say enough about them too. Next time we have
- 36:42Speaker 4: cam on hit up True Classic dot Com slash foul,
- 36:45Speaker 4: give it a shot, upgrade your wardrobe and save on
- 36:48Speaker 4: True Classic at True Classic dot com slash foul. That's
- 36:51Speaker 4: True Classic dot Com slash fo u L.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what he said.
- 36:57Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 36:59Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 37:01Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 37:05Speaker 4: It's a fun one. We're gonna do a kid say
- 37:07Speaker 4: the darnedest things. That's what he said. Since the Little
- 37:10Speaker 4: League World Series is going on right now, and we
- 37:14Speaker 4: are going to start with a young girl on Australia's
- 37:16Speaker 4: Little League World Series baseball team, as she was interviewed
- 37:20Speaker 4: a couple of days ago on the Kids Cast, and
- 37:23Speaker 4: she said this.
- 37:24Speaker 3: So I went to La back in twenty twenty three
- 37:27Speaker 3: to watch the Angels game in which Shania Turney was
- 37:30Speaker 3: still an Angel, and then he did a home run
- 37:32Speaker 3: into an area where the fans couldn't go.
- 37:35Speaker 2: And then this guy got the ball and gave it
- 37:36Speaker 2: to my brother.
- 37:38Speaker 5: So the next day we went to the VIP rocks
- 37:41Speaker 5: at the front and I asked for.
- 37:42Speaker 6: His signature, but we gave me on the side eye.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I'm like, not a nice glance.
- 37:47Speaker 6: So after that, like, I've never liked another since he's
- 37:51Speaker 6: not really humble. So yeah, it's not my.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Yeah, epic epic. I mean, who knows?
- 37:59Speaker 2: Okay, what I get it. But here's where you have
- 38:02Speaker 2: to everyone that says this guy signs for every person.
- 38:05Speaker 2: They don't. Okay, nobody does, nobody does, nobody can. Guys,
- 38:10Speaker 2: do the best you can with what you're giving, and
- 38:12Speaker 2: if you have time, you'll try and sign. But you
- 38:15Speaker 2: don't know. When she asked him, he could have been
- 38:16Speaker 2: warming up to pitch right and be like, hey, sign
- 38:19Speaker 2: my ball, and he's like really right now.
- 38:21Speaker 1: But kids don't understand this. I'm saying. I'm trying to
- 38:24Speaker 1: because it's funny what this is said.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I agree, So this is this crass. This takes me
- 38:28Speaker 2: back to a couple years ago. I was playing in
- 38:29Speaker 2: a golf tournament, right and there was all these seekers
- 38:31Speaker 2: we call them seekers, autograph seekers, and I'm and I
- 38:34Speaker 2: hit a ball over the green and I had to
- 38:35Speaker 2: chip up to get back and I'm literally mid back
- 38:38Speaker 2: swing and the guy goes, hey, ay j will you
- 38:40Speaker 2: sign my car? And I stopped and I'm like, right now,
- 38:45Speaker 2: you're asking me right now? He goes, what are you doing?
- 38:47Speaker 2: And I go I'm about to hit my shot. He goes, oh,
- 38:49Speaker 2: I didn't think anyone would miss by that much, and
- 38:51Speaker 2: I was like, are you kidding me? Then I proceeded
- 38:53Speaker 2: to scull it, fired my club because I was pissed,
- 38:57Speaker 2: made double bogie, and then he walked by me. He goes, so,
- 38:59Speaker 2: I you're not going to sign my card and I
- 39:01Speaker 2: was like, and.
- 39:03Speaker 1: This wasn't a kid the speaker.
- 39:07Speaker 2: You don't understand. It's all about timing, of course, so
- 39:10Speaker 2: you don't know the timing.
- 39:11Speaker 1: So this did.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Should you have signed for a kid? Yes, but maybe
- 39:13Speaker 2: he was in the middle throwing his bullpen to warm.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Up for You just don't know.
- 39:16Speaker 2: That's that's why, and kids don't understand that. You just
- 39:19Speaker 2: can't stop and just sign everybody's ball.
- 39:21Speaker 4: No, bet you can zero blame on show. Hey, I
- 39:24Speaker 4: just thought it was epic that on national television on
- 39:27Speaker 4: this kid's cast, She's just like, yeah, hey, Joe Hayden
- 39:30Speaker 4: signed for me.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Side.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Yeah, MLB wanted to bleep her out like she was
- 39:35Speaker 3: cursing anything about show.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Hey, he doesn't talk to anybody.
- 39:41Speaker 5: He is never available. We don't know what he's thinking.
- 39:45Speaker 5: He's the best player in the world, but we don't
- 39:47Speaker 5: know much about him. No way, he didn't sign for somebody.
- 39:50Speaker 5: This happens. My brother in law saw Cal Ripping Jr.
- 39:55Speaker 3: When he was playing, and it was he was the
- 39:58Speaker 3: only one going out to his car, and my brother
- 40:02Speaker 3: in law said, he was the only one who's still
- 40:03Speaker 3: a kid.
- 40:04Speaker 2: He's like, he's like, hey, mister Ripkin, can you sign?
- 40:07Speaker 3: And Cal said, if I got if I signed for you,
- 40:10Speaker 3: I gotta sign for everybody. They say, turned around and
- 40:13Speaker 3: there's nobody there. He's like, well, I guess not. Then
- 40:18Speaker 3: Cal Ripkin wasn't his favorite player. But it's like, you
- 40:22Speaker 3: don't know, Like maybe there's like fifty people on the
- 40:25Speaker 3: other side of the parking lot that he comes over
- 40:29Speaker 3: this side and all of a sudden, you know, they're
- 40:33Speaker 3: like spiders, so they just come running around and he
- 40:36Speaker 3: gotta sign, you gotta sign. Maybe he had to go somewhere,
- 40:39Speaker 3: maybe he was late. Like players live lives.
- 40:43Speaker 4: There's one more Wan Sodo caught strays from the Little
- 40:46Speaker 4: League World Series too. This is you want to get,
- 40:48Speaker 4: if any players in specific I want to get. Okay,
- 40:53Speaker 4: all right, Wan Soda is a popular one, Misha.
- 40:55Speaker 1: What about you Wan Soda on your list as well?
- 40:57Speaker 5: Eh, got over right, He's all right.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Initially bias. His defensive numbers aren't great. You should be
- 41:11Speaker 1: getting go glove consideration.
- 41:14Speaker 2: I love these Australian kids. Man, they shoot for the moon.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Ohtani and Soto like the Canada kid's more homeble He's
- 41:20Speaker 2: like big tumbrels. Sign for me.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I think the Australian kids are hilarious.
- 41:25Speaker 7: Were at the Pirates game today to the Australian kids,
- 41:28Speaker 7: is there as on Australia about Let's get them to
- 41:31Speaker 7: comment on the Tommy fam situation. All right, we got
- 41:34Speaker 7: to hit slap pants, will bear it back.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Slap pants. Let's get crats hats and then we'll make
- 41:50Speaker 4: an announcement.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Exactly because I always like to. I don't know just
- 41:55Speaker 3: the colors. The colors sick. It's the best spring training
- 41:58Speaker 3: hat that there is out there, these guys.
- 42:02Speaker 1: It matched your shirt nicely today too.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Good luck right, but the color scheme is working for you.
- 42:10Speaker 1: You nailed it.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Hey, next week we are going to be in Alabama
- 42:14Speaker 4: doing our shows. Krats will be in the bunker, but
- 42:18Speaker 4: AJ and I will be in Alabama for I know.
- 42:21Speaker 1: But you're going to be involved. You're here, You're here.
- 42:23Speaker 1: We're relying on you when we need you for the questions.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Uh, We're going to be in Bama for the pro
- 42:28Speaker 4: We did this the beginning of the year was January,
- 42:32Speaker 4: I believe, and so we'll do this again. There are
- 42:34Speaker 4: a ton of big names that are gonna be out there.
- 42:36Speaker 4: John Smoltz, Chipper Jones, the baseball list alone for our purposes, a.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Lot of good hockey players and football players and Peterson Yep, NBA.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Guys, Tony Romo, Matt Ryan, Vince Carter. But for our purposes,
- 42:50Speaker 4: for our audience. On the baseball portion, we're going to
- 42:53Speaker 4: have a good list of names.
- 42:55Speaker 1: We'll talk to Kevin Malar.
- 42:56Speaker 4: We've got a lot of guys Mallar I mentioned because
- 42:59Speaker 4: you two. That segment alone with the trash top will
- 43:02Speaker 4: be fantastic.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I mean, when Malar's I said, when Malar's in sixty
- 43:06Speaker 2: seventh at eightieth Place, I just can't wait. I'm just
- 43:09Speaker 2: gonna wear him out of LA. Are you play golf
- 43:11Speaker 2: every day, dude? In your sixty seventh at of eightieth place.
- 43:14Speaker 1: It's gonna be a good competition.
- 43:15Speaker 4: We'll give you more info the next couple days, but
- 43:17Speaker 4: we'll be there doing our same FT show, but we'll
- 43:19Speaker 4: just have access to VIP guests.
- 43:21Speaker 1: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Make sure you place these on the bet mgm app
- 43:25Speaker 4: and you can get yourself a little parlay boost to
- 43:28Speaker 4: token for a bigger payout if that baseball parlay hits.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Look for that parlay boost token.
- 43:34Speaker 4: On betmgm dot com or inside that app. Gambling problem
- 43:37Speaker 4: more concerned called Wyn a hunter Kambler
