- 0:09Speaker 1: What's up, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of
- 0:12Speaker 1: Bucko Territory, presented to you by the Foul Territory Network.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I'm Platinum Key ak Mark and joining me today is
- 0:19Speaker 1: Josh Harrison a k A. J Hey, fresh off our
- 0:23Speaker 1: trip to PNC Park Wednesday. Uh, Jay brought some good
- 0:28Speaker 1: luck for some Pirates fans. I got to see a
- 0:31Speaker 1: comeback with the Pirates down six to one. Just fantastic
- 0:36Speaker 1: energy in PNC Park. Josh, how is the drive home smooth?
- 0:41Speaker 1: Everything good?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Oh?
- 0:43Speaker 3: Yeah, man, smooth draft home. You know I've made that
- 0:47Speaker 3: draft plenty of times. I'm sure reminiscent of like, okay, man,
- 0:52Speaker 3: it's driving that bad. Yeah, so it's nice time to
- 0:55Speaker 3: pop in and out.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I love it all right, Oh yeah, yeah, very smooth.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Turns out there was not a lot of people on
- 1:03Speaker 1: the road at two in the morning, So yeah, I
- 1:05Speaker 1: got home nice and early, as they like to say.
- 1:09Speaker 1: But love it. Uh, completely worth it to see a
- 1:12Speaker 1: Pirates win like that. I'd show up at any hour
- 1:15Speaker 1: of the night to see a win like that, So
- 1:18Speaker 1: I'll take it. But we're gonna get into that win
- 1:21Speaker 1: now with our this week's Jay hay Now segments.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Okay, what do you say?
- 1:41Speaker 2: All right, there we go.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Ja Now a little different doing it at the beginning
- 1:45Speaker 3: of the segment, but we got a little different segment
- 1:47Speaker 3: due to you know, this week's show. But man, I
- 1:50Speaker 3: want to highlight today today's segment of j Now just
- 1:54Speaker 3: being at the ballpark on Wednesday's game and you know,
- 1:58Speaker 3: witnessing that six to one on you know, deficit being
- 2:02Speaker 3: overcome you know by I think it was eight runs
- 2:04Speaker 3: over the seventh and eighth inning. To be able to
- 2:07Speaker 3: you know, be there and experience that in the time.
- 2:11Speaker 3: As I said, you know, I mentioned it in one
- 2:13Speaker 3: of our podcasts about Opening Day that you could feel
- 2:16Speaker 3: the energy through the screen. It was pretty cool to
- 2:19Speaker 3: be there to experience that, especially you know on old
- 2:22Speaker 3: tiny day when Tony you know, he actually threw the
- 2:24Speaker 3: ball pretty well, and you know, it was one thing
- 2:27Speaker 3: that you know has helped the privates throughout the season
- 2:30Speaker 3: is you know, offenses stuck through it, you know, for
- 2:32Speaker 3: the course of nine innings and you know, for me
- 2:35Speaker 3: to be there and see them, you know, do that
- 2:39Speaker 3: and come through in the clutch in those last couple
- 2:41Speaker 3: of winnings, you know, it's pretty cool to you know
- 2:44Speaker 3: feel the energy from the crowd and you know, see
- 2:46Speaker 3: some of the guys. So my Jay Hay now was
- 2:48Speaker 3: just waitness send the guys you know in person, you know,
- 2:51Speaker 3: being down to a good Dodgers team and uh, you know,
- 2:54Speaker 3: overcoming that.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and I had to laugh. If you guys haven't
- 2:58Speaker 1: watched yet, make sure to tune into our vlog we
- 3:00Speaker 1: just released Thursday morning where we dig into we show
- 3:04Speaker 1: some of the behind the scenes clips of j Hay
- 3:06Speaker 1: interacting with former teammates and people within the organization, current players,
- 3:11Speaker 1: So make sure tune in for that. But at the
- 3:13Speaker 1: end of that we were talking, Josh, I was interviewing
- 3:16Speaker 1: you about how it was being back, and you mentioned
- 3:19Speaker 1: you're like, yeah, scoreboards a little tough right now for
- 3:22Speaker 1: Pirates fans because it was six to one, and within
- 3:26Speaker 1: probably like I think, like ten twenty minutes after we
- 3:29Speaker 1: finished that interview, that rally started right away, and I
- 3:35Speaker 1: love to see that. Like Spencer Horwitz that batflip, we
- 3:39Speaker 1: couldn't really see it from the club because he threw
- 3:41Speaker 1: it so bad. Yeah, I know, I like, I was like,
- 3:46Speaker 1: how did I not see that? I was like, oh, yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 1: there's there's people in front of us. But that batflip,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I mean the confidence that that gives to a team.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Do you think that like that catches on? Is that
- 4:00Speaker 1: tageous that kind of belief that, like a team like
- 4:03Speaker 1: the Dodgers the Pirates didn't count themselves out? Uh, how
- 4:08Speaker 1: do you think that materializes? Like what what would the
- 4:11Speaker 1: vibes be like in the dugout to continue to battle
- 4:14Speaker 1: against one of the best pitchers in the league, hang
- 4:17Speaker 1: in there, wait till the bullpen gets in, and then
- 4:20Speaker 1: beat them up.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I mean, you know, you got to like the way
- 4:25Speaker 3: that the vibes are going right now, just given how
- 4:27Speaker 3: everything's going the past week or so, you know, with
- 4:30Speaker 3: a little bit of pitching, starting bullpen, whether it be
- 4:33Speaker 3: either of those injuries, just a lot of uncertainty the
- 4:37Speaker 3: past week, so to you know, being a moment where
- 4:40Speaker 3: you're down six to one in the latter part of
- 4:42Speaker 3: the game, there's a lot of uncertainty in that. And
- 4:45Speaker 3: you know it's a good testament to them having a
- 4:47Speaker 3: good team win and you know, doing things that you
- 4:50Speaker 3: know they continue to talk about as you know, I
- 4:52Speaker 3: think Noah mentioned that, you know, they're learning how to
- 4:54Speaker 3: win and teamsactly know are are going to make pushes
- 4:59Speaker 3: you know later in the scene.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And those are games that you know, you kind of highlight.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Because those are come from behind winds, as you mentioned,
- 5:05Speaker 3: against a good Dodgers team.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and we saw the bullpen again struggle for the pirates,
- 5:10Speaker 1: but again this offense was able to overcome those struggles
- 5:14Speaker 1: we saw. Josh, you were up in the radio booth.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You got to be on the call for Carmen Machinski
- 5:20Speaker 1: giving up a Grand slim. He did look pretty good
- 5:22Speaker 1: before that. Some a couple of nice strikeouts, but tough
- 5:26Speaker 1: to you know, get kicked like that when Jerry Jones
- 5:30Speaker 1: had a pretty decent outing And yeah, so I just
- 5:34Speaker 1: love to see the response to after lost Tuesday night.
- 5:40Speaker 1: That was deflating, felt like a gut punch. It's like, oh,
- 5:46Speaker 1: we're not close to the Dodgers. And then turns out
- 5:49Speaker 1: Tyler Callahan had something else to say about that, which
- 5:53Speaker 1: will get into here in a second. But quick, I
- 5:57Speaker 1: just want to stop for a word from our sponsors.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Crouch.
- 6:03Speaker 6: You know, I travel all the time and I'm always
- 6:05Speaker 6: looking for possible tickets to go see Evans concerts MLB games.
- 6:09Speaker 5: When I do, I always find Seakeek. Yeah, I'm not
- 6:13Speaker 5: traveling so pretty much. I'm looking for the games all
- 6:16Speaker 5: in my area. I'm gonna look for an Orioles game.
- 6:18Speaker 5: I'm gonna look for the Phillies game, the Mets game,
- 6:21Speaker 5: the Yankees game. But you know what else is coming up?
- 6:23Speaker 5: The All Star Game. Sea Geeks got me.
- 6:26Speaker 6: Hey, you're gonna need them tickets for the All Star Game.
- 6:29Speaker 6: It is gonna be crazy. Hey, they have over thirty

- 7:00Speaker 6: use it later. Thank you.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Seek all right, now moving on to mister clutch himself,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Tyler Callahan hitting two home runs in his MLB or
- 7:14Speaker 1: his first two home runs in the same game. Unfortunately,
- 7:18Speaker 1: he did not get his first home run ball that
- 7:21Speaker 1: was sacrificed to the Allegheny. Apparently he was able to
- 7:24Speaker 1: make a trade for his second home run ball, So
- 7:27Speaker 1: that's cool. I think, you know, if you had to,
- 7:30Speaker 1: if there's a reason why you didn't have your first
- 7:32Speaker 1: home run ball, the ball being wet and in the
- 7:35Speaker 1: alleghany has to be a pretty decent excuse not to
- 7:38Speaker 1: have it. But to have a ball from the same
- 7:40Speaker 1: game pretty cool. And I just wanted to talk a
- 7:43Speaker 1: really bit really quickly about Tyler Callahan as a player.
- 7:49Speaker 1: The Pirates acquired him after they dfa Kyle Nicholas. So
- 7:53Speaker 1: the Reds traded Tyler Callahan, who they had drafted in
- 7:57Speaker 1: the third round back in twenty nineteen. Similar situation with
- 8:02Speaker 1: like bubblic Chandler. The Reds gave him one point five million,
- 8:05Speaker 1: which was way overslot for the third round out of
- 8:09Speaker 1: high school, and then his first full season was cut short.
- 8:15Speaker 1: So twenty twenty pandemic no minor league baseball twenty twenty one.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Two months in he has an injury and is outmostly
- 8:23Speaker 1: or he has Tommy John then he has another two
- 8:28Speaker 1: years injury free. Twenty twenty four has like a wrist injury,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I believe. Twenty twenty five, he fractures his forearm right
- 8:37Speaker 1: after the Reds call him up and left field. Very
- 8:39Speaker 1: nasty collision with the wall. So this guy has just
- 8:42Speaker 1: been beaten, bruised. Baseball's tried to keep him down and
- 8:48Speaker 1: he gets a shot with the injury to counter Griffin
- 8:52Speaker 1: with the infield a little bit banged up with O'Neill,
- 8:54Speaker 1: Cruz now down and he gets a shot as a
- 8:58Speaker 1: utility guy to come in and making him act. And
- 9:01Speaker 1: boy did he make an impact uh in Thursday night's
- 9:06Speaker 1: game because or Wednesday night's game. Excuse me, because that
- 9:11Speaker 1: was that was special to get one off of show
- 9:13Speaker 1: hey like that and then to seal the deal, uh
- 9:17Speaker 1: at the end there with the go ahead home run,
- 9:20Speaker 1: especially when it was a situation where like you thought
- 9:23Speaker 1: you might be getting a bunt signed out like and
- 9:26Speaker 1: was just locked in and just said Beasley said no,
- 9:29Speaker 1: let this kid swing, And Uh, I think that was
- 9:31Speaker 1: the right call. So Josh as a you know, like
- 9:34Speaker 1: a former utility player yourself. With Calahan, you know he's
- 9:38Speaker 1: played second base, UH might be filling in like corner outfields.
- 9:42Speaker 1: How is he gonna be able to continue the success
- 9:45Speaker 1: and state mentally prepared when everything is kind of up
- 9:48Speaker 1: in the air with him filling in for injured players
- 9:51Speaker 1: right now.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Well, I think we've had a conversation.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Multiple times just about the depth of the infield, and
- 10:00Speaker 3: you know, I think I mentioned it on one of
- 10:01Speaker 3: the pre recent episodes about somebody's gonna have to step up.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Obviously with you not knowing what was going on with
- 10:07Speaker 3: O'Neill at the time, Connor Griffin, I think O'Hearn was
- 10:11Speaker 3: just making his way back. I had mentioned that there's
- 10:14Speaker 3: going to have to be somebody that's gonna step up,
- 10:16Speaker 3: somebody that you know, otherwise, you know, somebody I don't
- 10:20Speaker 3: want to say isn't relying on, but somebody is going
- 10:22Speaker 3: to make a name for themselves. Yeah, you mentioned, you know,
- 10:27Speaker 3: the headlines is clutch Callahan first career homer off show.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Hey, as you said, lost it to you know the Alleghany.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Then the second one is a go ahead, you know,
- 10:37Speaker 3: home run in the eighth inning.
- 10:40Speaker 2: You know that that got the you know, the crowd
- 10:42Speaker 2: even more juiced.
- 10:44Speaker 3: And you know, one of those things where as you said,
- 10:47Speaker 3: been a utility guy or when you come up with
- 10:49Speaker 3: you get opportunity to bounce around. It's not easy, especially
- 10:52Speaker 3: when you know, for the most part, guys have come
- 10:53Speaker 3: up growing up playing one position. And then you mentioned,
- 10:56Speaker 3: you know, the injury, you know, the injury bug that
- 10:59Speaker 3: he's had, you know, throughout his career.
- 11:02Speaker 2: You know, it makes it, you know, success.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Stories like this when when things like this happened, you know,
- 11:07Speaker 3: you you love to hear stories like that because as
- 11:10Speaker 3: you mentioned, you said baseball, you know, try to keep
- 11:12Speaker 3: him down and you.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Know, injuries are part of the game and is how
- 11:15Speaker 2: you respond.
- 11:15Speaker 3: And you know, myself personally getting a chance to know
- 11:19Speaker 3: Tyler Callahan a little bit from my spring training with
- 11:22Speaker 3: the Reds in twenty four and obviously my older my
- 11:25Speaker 3: older brother Vince spent time coaching he. You know, it
- 11:29Speaker 3: felt a little more you know, special for me to
- 11:32Speaker 3: see that for him, because on my drive home, my
- 11:35Speaker 3: brother Vince called me and was like, hey, you was
- 11:37Speaker 3: at the game, right, you know, He's like because the
- 11:39Speaker 3: day that Callahan got traded, my brother was actually with
- 11:42Speaker 3: him like an hour before he got traded, so kind
- 11:44Speaker 3: of full circle moment, and I didn't get to you know,
- 11:47Speaker 3: I talked to him during VP, But after the game
- 11:50Speaker 3: I did see him exchanging a bat with the guy
- 11:53Speaker 3: they called his second home run, So as he was
- 11:55Speaker 3: explaining that, I was watching it in real time underneath,
- 12:00Speaker 3: you know, so like sand those moments are cool. And
- 12:02Speaker 3: then obviously when you know the guy's story and you
- 12:05Speaker 3: spent a little bit of time with him, as I
- 12:07Speaker 3: did myself in twenty four before debut, you know, it's
- 12:10Speaker 3: always cool to kind of experience that, especially in person
- 12:12Speaker 3: for people that you root for. Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Absolutely, And I love rooting for guys that have overcome
- 12:18Speaker 1: that much adversity in their career because those are the
- 12:21Speaker 1: guys that really really want this, that are working harder
- 12:25Speaker 1: than anyone else to get to overcome these hurdles. And
- 12:28Speaker 1: he's had a lot of very high hurdles in his
- 12:30Speaker 1: career already, and you know here he is still running,
- 12:34Speaker 1: still running the race, still fighting and making his mark
- 12:38Speaker 1: on a major league roster. So just wanted to highlight
- 12:41Speaker 1: Tyler there. Shout out for PNC was so loud after that.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I don't know if I have I like living in Michigan,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I don't get to go to P and C too often.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I've heard p andc that loud
- 12:54Speaker 1: since maybe like Paul Skin's debut when he was like
- 12:57Speaker 1: throwing strikes and everyone was on their feet. So that's
- 13:01Speaker 1: a quite the comparison there for mister Tyler callahan uh
- 13:06Speaker 1: and just love it.
- 13:06Speaker 2: And as you said, right on time with you know
- 13:10Speaker 2: the uncertain deal.
- 13:12Speaker 3: You know who's gonna be in the lineup, so you
- 13:15Speaker 3: know you need guys like that that's gonna you know,
- 13:17Speaker 3: make the impact felt. And not that she expected Callahana
- 13:20Speaker 3: hit two home runs every game, but you know, you
- 13:21Speaker 3: just won't good at bats. You know play, you know,
- 13:25Speaker 3: you know sound defense, and you know keep the ship floating.
- 13:29Speaker 3: You do that, you will continue to make a name
- 13:31Speaker 3: for yourself and they will find a way to say, hey,
- 13:32Speaker 3: we got to keep this guy around. You know, he
- 13:34Speaker 3: stepped in when we had some of our important guys out.
- 13:37Speaker 3: So that was nice to see, especially as you mentioned,
- 13:39Speaker 3: against a good Dodger stick.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Yes, all right, we're gonna take a quick break for
- 13:42Speaker 1: another word from our sponsors, but when we come back,
- 13:45Speaker 1: we're going to talk about the impact of O'Neil Cruz heading.
- 13:48Speaker 2: To the IL.

- 14:52Speaker 1: All right, now, moving on to Onio Cruiz to theil.
- 14:57Speaker 1: This is really really tough news, I think for Pirates fans.
- 15:02Speaker 2: He has to add to what's been going on.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, and so this this news came out Wednesday
- 15:10Speaker 1: before the game. Injury happened back on I believe it
- 15:15Speaker 1: was Saturday. He was able to play as a play it.
- 15:20Speaker 1: He was a pinch runner for Brandon Low Sunday night
- 15:23Speaker 1: in the ninth inning, and then he was scheduled in
- 15:27Speaker 1: the lineup after the off day Monday. He was in
- 15:29Speaker 1: the lineup on Tuesday and was scratched about like an
- 15:34Speaker 1: hour before the game, and everyone was like, it's not
- 15:37Speaker 1: a great sign, but at least he was in the lineup,
- 15:39Speaker 1: so hopefully it's not too bad. And then he gets
- 15:44Speaker 1: placed on the ten day IO I have to read this.
- 15:46Speaker 1: It's fourth and fifth meta carpal non displaced fractures in
- 15:50Speaker 1: his left hand, which should keep him out about like
- 15:53Speaker 1: four to six weeks, I think is the expected timeline.
- 15:58Speaker 2: But all about.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Is this an injury that you had?
- 16:03Speaker 2: I broke my fifth metal corporal twice, non displaced?
- 16:06Speaker 1: All right, Well, what's that recovery?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Like?
- 16:08Speaker 1: What's that feel like? As a hitter?
- 16:12Speaker 2: So how did his happen?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Slagging ironically sliding into home with a Tyler Callahan RBI
- 16:20Speaker 1: in the fourth inning.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I think.
- 16:23Speaker 2: He had like the catcher's cleat or something. Did it
- 16:26Speaker 2: catch on anything.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I'm not sure, because he could. I don't think he
- 16:29Speaker 1: was removed from the game right away, so I think
- 16:32Speaker 1: he might have had a couple of bats after that,
- 16:36Speaker 1: because I.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Obviously broke mind on ninety six mile in our fastballs.
- 16:40Speaker 3: But when you said none displaced, yeah, there are so
- 16:44Speaker 3: many things with that because the hands. Obviously, baseball's a
- 16:47Speaker 3: hand oye coordination sport. You gotta be able to catch,
- 16:49Speaker 3: you gotta be able to throw. That's what you used
- 16:50Speaker 3: to hit with, and non displaced means that everything's intact,
- 16:55Speaker 3: but there's a fracture and the possibility of him making
- 17:01Speaker 3: a clean fracture to have surgery is increased if he plays.
- 17:05Speaker 3: And it's not just from swinging the back. He can
- 17:08Speaker 3: do that sliding, as you mentioned.
- 17:10Speaker 2: He can do that.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Well yeah, yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Well that's that's the hand that I and I mean
- 17:17Speaker 3: I played middle infield. They're like, oh, you could break
- 17:20Speaker 3: it making a tag, you could break it catching a
- 17:22Speaker 3: line drive. So it's one of those things that obviously
- 17:25Speaker 3: mind was due to a hit by pitch, so it
- 17:28Speaker 3: caused immediate attention. Right, his might have been something that
- 17:33Speaker 3: might have felt like just a jammed finger or like
- 17:35Speaker 3: oh man, I just bang my hand, you know, because
- 17:38Speaker 3: you don't have a fastball or a baseball that was like,
- 17:40Speaker 3: oh that was direct impact. Maybe his was from you know,
- 17:43Speaker 3: hitting the corner of you know, the plate or hitting
- 17:46Speaker 3: the corner of the cleat and then it's oh man,
- 17:48Speaker 3: my hand's okay. But then you know, it doesn't get better.
- 17:51Speaker 3: After a couple of days.
- 17:52Speaker 2: They probably did some imaging and saw the fracture and said,
- 17:54Speaker 2: you know what, let's.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Go get some more imaging, and you know, probably just
- 17:59Speaker 3: confirms say, you know what, it's non displaced. And if
- 18:03Speaker 3: you don't want to miss the rest of the season
- 18:04Speaker 3: with surgery on your hand, it's best that you know,
- 18:09Speaker 3: rested for you know, these four to six weeks. And
- 18:11Speaker 3: I'm sure they're gonna be aggressive with you know, doing
- 18:14Speaker 3: everything they can that let it heal. But I mean realistically,
- 18:18Speaker 3: it's gonna take rest, you know, not catching, not impacting.
- 18:23Speaker 3: So he's gonna be in probably a removable soft cast
- 18:27Speaker 3: that he is gonna have to protect. Just because you
- 18:30Speaker 3: can hit your hand. Think about all the random things
- 18:32Speaker 3: you can hit your hand on the side of the table. Yeah,
- 18:35Speaker 3: and those small movements. So I'm sure he's gonna have
- 18:38Speaker 3: some protective braces because I had to do it twice
- 18:40Speaker 3: in a matter of seven months. But the good thing
- 18:44Speaker 3: about the good thing about that is the rest of
- 18:46Speaker 3: your body will still be fresh. He's gonna still be
- 18:48Speaker 3: able to keep his legs fresh, He's still gonna work out.
- 18:51Speaker 3: He's just not gonna bar anyway. And that's not his
- 18:53Speaker 3: throwing man. So that's the good thing about it. Is
- 18:58Speaker 3: the top hand for him, which you know, he'll still
- 19:00Speaker 3: be able to do one hand drills. So, yes, it's
- 19:04Speaker 3: unfortunate the timing of it, but it's something that he
- 19:07Speaker 3: should return from because for me, I had three hand
- 19:11Speaker 3: injuries and the two broken hands weren't that crazy to
- 19:14Speaker 3: come back from it.
- 19:15Speaker 2: It was more of the torn ligament in my thumb.
- 19:17Speaker 3: So the four to six weeks, Yes, the timing of
- 19:19Speaker 3: it is unfortunate, but you look around and as I said,
- 19:23Speaker 3: Callahan stuffed up Plutch Mangum played a pretty good center
- 19:27Speaker 3: field yesterday.
- 19:29Speaker 2: You had contributions from a lot of people. Uh, Brian
- 19:32Speaker 2: runs robbed a home run. Oh yeah, yeah, you know.
- 19:35Speaker 3: There's gonna have to be some guys are stepping up
- 19:37Speaker 3: offensively like Callahan did, and also defensively as you saw
- 19:41Speaker 3: with you know, Brian RUMs robbing a home run.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I think the biggest concern right now for me with
- 19:46Speaker 1: the Neil Cruz injury is just the depth. If you
- 19:50Speaker 1: look at the Pirates bench right now, you got Rafael
- 19:54Speaker 1: Flores h Henry Davis will be back from the paternial
- 19:58Speaker 1: list at some point, Marcell Davis, Wincel and Billy Cook.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And that's assuming that you have Tyler Callahan starting and
- 20:09Speaker 1: probably either o'hearne or Reynolds at d H with Azuna
- 20:12Speaker 1: on the bench. So your depth is getting pretty thin.
- 20:17Speaker 1: And you Rodriguez was yeah on the seventh thing. So
- 20:25Speaker 1: we have we're recording this Thursday afternoon at about one thirty.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Uh so we haven't gotten any updates on nd Hopefully
- 20:33Speaker 1: the hip is okay. Maybe it was just need to
- 20:38Speaker 1: get off his feet a little bit. Either way, though,
- 20:41Speaker 1: I mean, this team is starting to get a little thin.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Hopefully.
- 20:47Speaker 1: We saw Connor was throwing for the first time on Wednesday,
- 20:52Speaker 1: so that's encouraging. But again, you know, he's still probably
- 20:55Speaker 1: a couple of weeks away.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yet they're not going to rest at.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I mean No, it makes sense.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Like I think how they've handled both Connor Griffin and
- 21:05Speaker 1: O'Neill Cruiz's injuries have been exactly what you want, considering
- 21:09Speaker 1: both seem like if they don't get the rest of
- 21:11Speaker 1: they it could spiral.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They're gonna right exactly.
- 21:15Speaker 3: And just to add to that is, you know you
- 21:18Speaker 3: mentioned both Connor and don't know that's that's the speed
- 21:21Speaker 3: on the team, you know, So you're gonna need some
- 21:24Speaker 3: guys to step up because you know that you know
- 21:27Speaker 3: he couldn't hit, but he went and pitched ran for
- 21:29Speaker 3: loud the other day. So you're talking to your your
- 21:32Speaker 3: speech on the bases, you want those guys to be healthy.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and we need guys like Jake Ingham to really
- 21:38Speaker 1: step up. He's going to be playing a lot of
- 21:40Speaker 1: the center field probably and he brings a lot of
- 21:44Speaker 1: that speed that we're lacking now with both Connor and
- 21:47Speaker 1: o'neel out. So hopefully Jake Maingham can really take a
- 21:51Speaker 1: big step forward with this opportunity. I know, I believe
- 21:54Speaker 1: in him. Looked pretty good on Wednesday, so hopefully he'll
- 21:58Speaker 1: keep that Wednesday. Yeah, I mean just the grit, the hustle,
- 22:02Speaker 1: love it, uh made some nice catches as well. So yeah,
- 22:07Speaker 1: any any final thoughts here, Jay, Hey.
- 22:11Speaker 3: My final thoughts before you know, I'll tell you hit
- 22:14Speaker 3: that subscribe button is gonna be to you know, tell
- 22:18Speaker 3: those guys to limit their mistakes because obviously with these
- 22:20Speaker 3: injuries down the key players, you want to limit the
- 22:24Speaker 3: mistakes on defense, on offense, obviously pitching things are gonna happen.
- 22:28Speaker 3: You know, you you want to limit the mistakes pitching
- 22:31Speaker 3: as well. But you know that means not giving away
- 22:34Speaker 3: extra outs, you know, first to thirds or dirt balls.
- 22:37Speaker 3: You got to play really clean, especially when you're missing
- 22:39Speaker 3: your guys. And as I mentioned clean, you know it's clean.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Some merchandise on the website or you know, make sure
- 22:47Speaker 3: you hit that q R code go to the you
- 22:50Speaker 3: know the website, get you some merch We got all
- 22:53Speaker 3: types of stuff that fits anybody's like.

- 22:58Speaker 3: I think we gained a few more followers being at
- 23:00Speaker 3: the game Wednesday, Mark Andoa. So Noah's not here today,
- 23:04Speaker 3: but I just mentioned that because you know, he's still
- 23:06Speaker 3: part of the crew.
- 23:07Speaker 2: So don't forget to subscribe.
- 23:09Speaker 3: As we make our way towards three thousand, every every bit,
- 23:12Speaker 3: you know, gets us closer, and we appreciate the support
- 23:15Speaker 3: out there.
- 23:16Speaker 1: WI you got Mark, I basically covered it. I just
- 23:20Speaker 1: loved the the energy at PNC Park. Keep getting louder
- 23:26Speaker 1: and louder and louder. This team is going to respond.
- 23:30Speaker 1: We saw them come back with a packed house, you know.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I feel like that does make a slight impact when
- 23:35Speaker 1: you have a full crowd out there still having your
- 23:39Speaker 1: back even if you're down six to one. So keep
- 23:41Speaker 1: showing up to P and C Park. I'll see you
- 23:43Speaker 1: down there. Hopefully we'll get Jay back down there again
- 23:46Speaker 1: here soon. And just want to thank everyone for listening.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So for Josh Harrison and Noah Hiles, I'm platinum Key
