SPEAKER_00: Most people in America and beyond do not understand money, Ryan.
• 0:05
SPEAKER_00: They do not understand how to make money.
• 0:07
SPEAKER_00: They do not understand how to keep money.
• 0:09
SPEAKER_00: They don't understand how to grow money.
• 0:11
SPEAKER_01: Just thanks for being here.
• 0:12
SPEAKER_01: Like I know it it seemed like kind of a big aspiration to even get you to accept this.
• 0:18
  SPEAKER_01: So I'm super stoked.
• 0:19
SPEAKER_01: Like my vibe is just like kind of the casual dad.
• 0:22
SPEAKER_01: But I feel like there's a lot to learn from you, someone that's built such an empire, and you know, kind of coming from you know the expertise you have.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_01: You've worked with you know exhausted parents, building brands and things like that, right?
• 0:34
SPEAKER_01: So you have that insight, and that's exactly what I'm trying to tap into here.
• 0:37
SPEAKER_01: And I just, you know, kind of wanted to just ask you some targeted stuff, and then we can kind of go, you know, off on uh on riffs or tangents if we need.
• 0:46
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I mean that's kind of the thought behind this uh podcast.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_01: And again, just thank you again for being here and excited to you have I thought I had a lot of followers on LinkedIn, but you have a heck of a lot more than me in a 15 million okay, so 15 million views a year, is that right?
• 1:07
  SPEAKER_01: From my research.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes, right.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_00: No, I'm happy to be here.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: You know, I think your mission spoke to me in terms of who you're trying to reach and what you believe in.
• 1:20
SPEAKER_00: So absolutely, yeah, 15 million views and counting.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, it's a global motivational media, Ryan.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_00: And now, you know, I was just thinking about this, like things have popped off recently.
• 1:32
SPEAKER_00: You know, I think for a long time I was struggling to figure out, you know, who my audience is and and who is a go-getter.
• 1:40
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, me being sort of Indian American, and you know, it's like, okay, you're not white, you're not black.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I was struggling to fit in.
• 1:49
  SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'll I'll be honest.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_00: You know, I've been doing this nine years now.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_00: So for a long time it was sort of like this, well, who is my go-getter?
• 1:56
  SPEAKER_00: Who is my audience?
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: And now, you know, because of the digital world and you know, the world has also changed in nine years, right?
• 2:04
SPEAKER_00: In terms of like digital, you know, exclusion.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_00: And so now, like, I'm having a hard time keeping up with the follower growth.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_00: And of course, we're targeting India, we're targeting Latin America, we're targeting Africa, just you know, people who are underserved in terms of motivation and believing in themselves.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_00: So now I'm I'm I I I'm having to catch up to my own vision.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, wow, this this is this is way bigger than you know what I was going for.
• 2:35
  unknown: Yeah.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_01: That's a good problem to have though, yeah.
• 2:37
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: I think in, and I know you talk a lot about this, it's like you gotta be structurally ready though, for that, right?
• 2:45
SPEAKER_00: And so, I mean, you want three kids.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_00: Are you ready for three kids?
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: You know, and so I mean, that's that's exactly where you're catching me now.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_00: Like, yes, it's exciting, yes, I'm blessed, but I mean, I'm I'm structurally preparing as we speak.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_01: For me, I don't know about you, but for me, it's like I don't know.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_01: Like, I didn't know at having one kid, I have two toddlers right now.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_01: I didn't know I was ready for one or two until I had it, and now I'm in it, I'm in the trenches.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_01: I realize what it takes to do it, you know, waking up at 5 a.m.
• 3:17
SPEAKER_01: sometimes, staying up, you know, past when everyone's already asleep, getting stuff done as a dad, as you know, I have a lot of ambition.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_01: Like you, like you, I have a lot of ambitions personally, you know, starting this up, trying to run a marathon, so trying to get in shape and like personal stuff, but also not letting the family life slip, not letting the relationship slip, not letting work slip, you know, because I still have a nine to five.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_01: So it's like all this stuff I'm juggling and just trying to keep it going.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_01: But, you know, I I love the challenge, honestly.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_01: Like, I like I don't know about you, but you know, it seems like you have to at the level that you're at, you know what I mean?
• 3:51
SPEAKER_01: Because you would you would teach ambitious people how to scale their personal brand, turn it into revenue.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_01: And so, like, what's the thing you see exhausted parents?
• 3:59
SPEAKER_01: You know, how do they build with a brand without completely burning out?
• 4:03
SPEAKER_01: Because I could see how that would be maybe one of the potential top things you're seeing right now.
• 4:08
  SPEAKER_00: Totally, Ryan.
• 4:09
  SPEAKER_00: Totally.
• 4:09
SPEAKER_00: No, this is a great question.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, kudos to you.
• 4:12
  SPEAKER_00: Obviously, you are a go-getter.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_00: I think that's part of the reason I'm here.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, you are definitely a go-getter.
• 4:18
SPEAKER_00: But no, look, I mean, I think I honestly, the the answer to your question is a complete lack of alignment.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_00: So when I double-click on any one-on-one client, you know, exactly in a situation like this, it'll be like I'm doing this and I'm doing this, that has nothing to do with that, and I'm doing this other thing that has nothing to do with any of the other two things.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_00: And then I'm listening here going, that's why she's exhausted, because nothing makes sense, right?
• 4:46
SPEAKER_00: Nothing is aligned, you know, and I'm a big energy person, you know.
• 4:50
SPEAKER_00: I read a lot, you know, about energy and and where that comes from and you know how that's built.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_00: And the truth is that we have to be aligned in one direction for us to feel energetic, right?
• 5:02
SPEAKER_00: For us to feel energetically full.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_00: And if you are literally all over the place all the time, there's there's very little possibility that you are going to be energetic or energized.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_00: And so the number one complaint of that demographic for me, whether that's in my personal branding, coaching practice, Ryan, or just a follower or a go-getter online is sort of I'm exhausted, right?
• 5:28
SPEAKER_00: That is the number one comment, you know, message that I get from parents, is that I'm exhausted.
• 5:34
SPEAKER_00: And so my challenge to anybody listening, including you, is what can you do to align all these different things that you're doing?
• 5:42
SPEAKER_00: Because I promise you, alignment brings, you know, energy, and energy is going to make you feel less exhausted.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_01: I can relate to exactly what you're talking about, how it feels very chaotic in my life sometimes.
• 5:56
SPEAKER_01: And that's why I was smiling so much because I'm like, I relate to that.
• 5:59
  SPEAKER_01: That's me.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_01: That I'm that person that you probably are dealing with a lot.
• 6:03
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, like you said, getting in alignment.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so how does that actually work?
• 6:07
SPEAKER_01: Like, what's if you want to like delve into a little bit more specifics on that, when it would apparent, you know, they're time starved, they're they're tired, like you mentioned, they don't, you know, they don't really have much energy going on.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_01: Well, how can we align ourselves?
• 6:19
SPEAKER_01: How can we, you know, kind of model what you did, you know, kind of building up your media company to 15 million views a year?
• 6:27
SPEAKER_01: Like, how does someone replicate that if they are, you know, running out of energy, running out of time, misaligned?
• 6:35
  SPEAKER_00: Totally.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_00: And I'm standing here, Ryan, with almost a decade of startup building experience.
• 6:40
SPEAKER_00: So while I'm not a parent, I do feel like I have been in that same situation of just extreme time crunch, extreme financial crunch.
• 6:49
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_00: And and by the way, me being really young.
• 6:53
  SPEAKER_00: So I started at 24, right?
• 6:55
SPEAKER_00: And so while a lot of people were like, wow, you know, you are, you know, this, you know, wonder kid, you know, but it's like you don't know a lot at 24, you know.
• 7:06
SPEAKER_00: I think that's the part that people don't tell you.
• 7:08
SPEAKER_00: So I also have a lot of young parents following me.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_00: So they they feel the same thing.
• 7:12
SPEAKER_00: So it's funny, like if we trade notes, they're like, my kid is, you know, 10 now, and like I didn't know what I was doing then, you know.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_00: So it's a very similar journey in that way where I felt like I have all of these priorities, you know, I want to build a media group.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_00: That's why I I named it what I did versus media agency or whatever, you know, and there were so many different threads that I wanted to pull and you know, the brand that I wanted to build.
• 7:39
SPEAKER_00: But all this to say how I fixed everything into alignment was by saying, first of all, who am I?
• 7:45
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 7:45
SPEAKER_00: I mean, that that even today is at the core of everything that I do.
• 7:49
SPEAKER_00: So when you think of go-getter, I also want you to think of me, you know, as a as a person.
• 7:54
SPEAKER_00: Because while I'm helping you be a go-getter, Ryan, I also want Ryan to be like, you know what?
• 7:59
SPEAKER_00: She is doing what she's saying.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_00: You know, she's doing what she's advising me.
• 8:04
SPEAKER_00: And and that actually has created a great amount of credibility with our hundreds of small businesses that we've helped kind of build their brands and just everybody follow me.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_00: They're like, wow, she, you know, talks the talk, walks the walk.
• 8:16
SPEAKER_00: So the first question is sort of who are you?
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: What are your core values?
• 8:20
SPEAKER_00: What do you stand for?
• 8:21
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 8:21
SPEAKER_00: Then it's what brand do you want to build?
• 8:24
SPEAKER_00: You know, and I'm a big fan, Ryan, of multi-dimension.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_00: So if you say that you have this, you know, podcast and you want to start a children's clothing brand, like I'm the first person, Ryan, who would say, do it, do all of it.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_00: But again, the concern that I have is I don't want everything to look crazy.
• 8:42
SPEAKER_00: And right now, when I look at some of the people following me, things are looking crazy.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: And and and things are looking crazy because they have not sat down like you and I are doing right now, and and saying, hey, what are my core values?
• 8:55
SPEAKER_00: What do I stand for?
• 8:57
SPEAKER_00: You know, what do I want to do?
• 8:58
SPEAKER_00: How do I want to get there?
• 9:00
SPEAKER_00: And the other critical factor, Ryan, is most people in America and beyond do not understand money, Ryan.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_00: They do not understand how to make money, they do not understand how to keep money, they don't understand how to grow money.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_00: So the after I'm exhausted, Ryan, the next challenge is I'm poor.
• 9:20
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 9:20
SPEAKER_00: That keeps coming up over and over again.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_00: And for some people, I'm like, brother, you're a lawyer.
• 9:25
  SPEAKER_00: How are we poor?
• 9:27
  SPEAKER_00: What's going on?
• 9:28
SPEAKER_00: You know, and it's like then you double click, and then there's the debt, there's this, there's the overspending, there's the he's never been to the doctor in the last decade.
• 9:37
SPEAKER_00: You know, and while, you know, you're like, well, how does that it all matters because your personal brand, you're not being able to grow.
• 9:45
SPEAKER_00: You're stuck, literally, energetically, you're stuck, and and actually you're getting sicker, right?
• 9:51
SPEAKER_00: And you're getting more exhausted and you're getting poorer, and now we're in this crazy cycle that we cannot get out of.
• 9:58
  SPEAKER_00: So that that's that's that's our my following.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_00: Literally, yesterday, colon cancer at 40.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_00: You know, and uh again, because I study energy so much, Ryan.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_00: Like I'm not trying to blame anybody, but this is also someone who started the post saying that I never talk about personal things.
• 10:15
SPEAKER_00: I never when you behave like that, Ryan, you are keeping everything inside.
• 10:20
SPEAKER_00: You don't talk, you don't share, you don't this energy gets bottled up, and that's what makes you a prime breeding ground for cancer and every other disease and every other issue.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_00: And these are the guys who follow me of all races, of all ages, and you guys all have the same problems, you know.
• 10:40
SPEAKER_00: So I I have a very large male following, which I was not expecting coming into this, you know, because I I'm all for women's empowerment and you know, girl power, but I mean, the number of men in my DMs purchasing communications coaching, executive coaching, how to, you know, speak in front of the camera, I mean, is mind-blowing to me.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_00: And it's because he is fundamentally misaligned.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_00: And that is what keeps coming up, no matter geography, age, continent, country, uh, where he's from.
• 11:11
  SPEAKER_00: It's the same issue.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_01: What else, like uh, you know, people are like kind of like dealing with that silent struggle.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_01: Like, what else are you seeing in terms of issues that you have to kind of step in and help them with?
• 11:23
SPEAKER_01: Or is that mostly just the you know them the main culprits, you would say?
• 12:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so a couple of things.
• 12:11
SPEAKER_00: I really deal with branding, Ryan, and personal branding.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_00: And so people listening, you know, the m you know, because everybody's like a health coach or you know, you know, but mindset coach or whatever.
• 12:23
SPEAKER_00: So I think anybody listening, like, wait, so what does she do?
• 12:26
  SPEAKER_00: So branding coaching, right?
• 12:28
SPEAKER_00: So if you think about building your personal brand, you know, fortunately or unfortunately, Ryan, we are getting into each of these discussions on our private coaching call window.
• 12:41
  SPEAKER_00: Guess what?
• 12:41
SPEAKER_00: No advice I give you about, you know, posting on LinkedIn and and getting a promotion will ever be viable if you're sick, right?
• 12:49
SPEAKER_00: And so I am sort of inadvertently dealing with all of these issues in my uh coaching, right, in my uh private practice as well as in my content, which it has a very thriving media sponsorship revenue backing, right?
• 13:04
SPEAKER_00: And so all the content that I create it is about sort of fitness and mindset and you know how to stay motivated.
• 13:11
SPEAKER_00: And so I kind of touch the spectrum for those of you uh listening because a lot of people, you know, that's like they're only either one silo or the other silo.
• 13:19
SPEAKER_00: And and that's also why I, you know, value creators like you, and and nobody is too big or too small for me, right?
• 13:26
SPEAKER_00: And I want to spread my message on sort of every platform that I get the chance to uh share with, so you know, to be a go-getter.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_00: So I would say that is the that is the source issue.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_00: You know, if you look at all the other problems, like even today, like I obviously have a lot of moms, you know, following me, and you know, everybody's just exhausted, you know, and all over the place.
• 13:46
SPEAKER_00: And and I think they also become very tight.
• 13:49
SPEAKER_00: So they're like, this is the only time I have, and you know, I I can't spend more money than this, and you know, I I don't have more time than this, and I only have you know two kids and and I have a business, and like there's all these rules, right?
• 14:03
  SPEAKER_00: How they function.
• 14:04
SPEAKER_00: Whereas if you again you look at feminine energy, right, which we are supposed to predominantly embody, you know, it's all about flow, right?
• 14:12
SPEAKER_00: And so sometimes I do get concerned with the with the content and the posts I see online because I'm like, this girl is like it's too serious, you know.
• 14:22
SPEAKER_00: It's it's not it's not supposed to be this serious, you know.
• 14:26
SPEAKER_00: So have fun, you know, also play.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_00: Also, like why are you we as a society so serious, you know?
• 14:32
SPEAKER_00: I think this is causing sickness, this is causing exhaustion, and especially among women, you know, it's just creating this sense of like, I'm tired, you know, and I'm reading her posts and I'm tired.
• 14:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm not even a mom, you know, but I'm tired, you know.
• 14:47
SPEAKER_01: Also, you know, just like how people don't, you know, celebrate themselves or take time for themselves.
• 14:54
SPEAKER_01: And so, like, how do you balance delicate or how do you balance that that dynamic and also, you know, just kind of give us a glimpse at what your calendar looks like year-round.
• 15:04
  SPEAKER_00: Totally know, Ryan.
• 15:05
SPEAKER_00: And again, this is it's just amazing to me that I have such a global view of each of these issues, and and it just it keeps coming up in in younger men, it comes up in in middle-aged men, it comes up in older men, and then women are just exhausted.
• 15:21
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it that's if I had to, you know, give that perspective.
• 15:26
SPEAKER_00: So, a couple of things, you know, I think it's again all about this top-down model that I use, right?
• 15:31
SPEAKER_00: I think a lot of people following me, go-getters, are like bottom-up, right?
• 15:36
SPEAKER_00: So they'll be like, Well, what do I have to do today?
• 15:39
SPEAKER_00: Uh oh, and then all this stuff, and I'm just exhausted, right?
• 15:42
SPEAKER_00: Whereas I go the opposite, like, how do I want to live today?
• 15:45
SPEAKER_00: You know, what do I want to do?
• 15:47
SPEAKER_00: You know, what are my uh priorities?
• 15:50
SPEAKER_00: You know, obviously I can't get to everything, you know, so I'm gonna do what I can do.
• 15:54
SPEAKER_00: And also owning my own schedule now, Ryan, has forced me to set a few priorities every day, but it's what I want to do.
• 16:03
SPEAKER_00: So I liberally reject meetings.
• 16:06
SPEAKER_00: If I have more than three things on my calendar a day, and I'm not talking about work time, work time I control or or time with my team or whatever I control, but I'm talking about like meetings.
• 16:18
SPEAKER_00: I don't have more than three a day, and and I do not meet in the morning.
• 16:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm not even awake half the time, you know.
• 16:25
SPEAKER_00: So I'm more of a night old than an early morning person.
• 16:29
SPEAKER_00: And even, you know, I do want kids, I do want all that in the future.
• 16:32
SPEAKER_00: I will be structuring my life to where, you know, I will have outside support or whatever so that I I'm not on call at 8 a.m., right?
• 16:40
SPEAKER_00: So I think it's about protecting your schedule and it's about you being intentional about what you want to do today.
• 16:47
SPEAKER_00: Whereas a lot of my followers and go-getters, they're there, I don't even think there's honestly that much thought that goes into like, how do I want to live?
• 16:58
SPEAKER_00: You know, and and I actually took yesterday was my 12-year anniversary, Ryan, of my college graduation.
• 17:04
SPEAKER_00: And I was the commencement speaker uh at Georgia Tech.
• 17:08
SPEAKER_00: So, because I I've had this dream for a long time, right?
• 17:11
SPEAKER_00: I mean, literally to do what I'm doing, I have been dreaming of this honestly for 12 years.
• 17:16
SPEAKER_00: And so I posted that, and even when I was up there, literally in a stadium in front of all these people, I'm like, this is what I want to do.
• 17:25
SPEAKER_00: I want to live a life of freedom.
• 17:27
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to get there, to be honest.
• 17:30
SPEAKER_00: Um, I know that it requires a lot of money.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to get there.
• 17:34
SPEAKER_00: But like I had a very clear vision of like, I want to work from home, you know, I want to make, you know, money from home.
• 17:40
SPEAKER_00: I want to dress, you know, in pajamas every day and you know, still make money and like be with my family and have, whereas like now when I talk to people, it's a lot of like, well, I have to move to you know Alabama and I don't have anyone.
• 17:54
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, do you have to do that though?
• 17:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, does it have to be that bad for you?
• 18:00
SPEAKER_00: So my my question or or encouragement to all of you is like, what do you want to do?
• 18:06
SPEAKER_00: Because for me, that was number one.
• 18:08
SPEAKER_00: No, I did get called names for that.
• 18:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh, you're a diva, you're this, you're that, because I was so young, 22, 24, where I was like, I want this and I want that, you know, nobody likes that, you know, at 23, which is why my honesty, my corporate career didn't work out.
• 18:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm very honest about that.
• 18:25
SPEAKER_00: And you know, probably that was part of the reason that, you know, I that they didn't see me as someone who could fit into what they wanted, right?
• 18:34
SPEAKER_00: And so technology consulting, that didn't really work out because I always had a vision where I'm like, you know, I want to live on my own.
• 18:41
SPEAKER_00: Now, when you look at the internet culture now of like this hustle and everybody's on a private jet, I don't think it was as much that as like, I want freedom and control of my own time and I want to be able to finance my life.
• 18:56
SPEAKER_00: Those were my goals, not necessarily I want to be on a private jet every day, because I I don't think that's healthy.
• 19:02
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, a lot of the kids following me go-getters, they are getting very influenced by sort of this, you know, big display of wealth and you know, craziness.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_00: But, you know, I think like being my own boss, doing my own thing, owning my own cash flow, basically, and as a result, time.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_00: Those were the top two goals and continue to be the top two goals today, right?
• 19:25
SPEAKER_00: So, in in general, I think for those of you listening, watching, like, why is everybody so exhausted?
• 19:29
SPEAKER_00: It's something that I ask myself all the time.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_00: I think it's because there is no thought going into how I want to live.
• 19:36
SPEAKER_00: So when I double click and all the DMs I get, I want more money.
• 19:40
  SPEAKER_00: For what?
• 19:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that my that's my my answer because that's what they say.
• 19:44
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm a go-getter, I want more money, you know.
• 19:47
SPEAKER_00: So then I say, well, for what?
• 19:48
  SPEAKER_00: You know, for what?
• 19:49
SPEAKER_00: So, like, where's the thought, you know, behind it?
• 19:53
SPEAKER_00: And then on the other hand, now I have a lot of younger go-getters, right?
• 19:57
SPEAKER_00: 24 now, so they're much younger than me, 24, where he's, you know, has a very clear vision of I want passive income, uh, passive income from where?
• 20:07
  SPEAKER_00: Passive income doing what?
• 20:09
SPEAKER_00: And also, by the way, passive income doesn't fall from the sky, right?
• 20:13
SPEAKER_00: Most and also most people following me, Ryan, white and non-white, are they don't come from wealth.
• 20:20
SPEAKER_00: So they're building their own wealth and they're building their own brand, right?
• 20:25
SPEAKER_00: And so, you know, how passive income from where doing what?
• 20:30
SPEAKER_00: You know, so these are the questions that I ask.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_00: Whereas for me, I was very clear, I want to build a business, you know, I want to sell branding services, you know, I want to be paid to, you know, do motivational speaking.
• 20:41
SPEAKER_00: So there was a more structure around the revenue that I want to bring in.
• 20:46
SPEAKER_00: Whereas I think a lot of kids, even today, like I'm seeing a lot of like, I want to live a soft life, but how and with what?
• 20:54
  SPEAKER_00: And you need money.
• 20:55
SPEAKER_00: And so sometimes I feel like all the questions are not being answered.
• 21:00
SPEAKER_00: And so I think for those of you listening or watching, it starts with, what do you want?
• 21:06
  SPEAKER_00: Right?
• 21:06
SPEAKER_00: How am I gonna build it?
• 21:08
SPEAKER_00: And then every day, am I exhausting myself with my schedule or am I replenishing myself?
• 21:15
SPEAKER_00: Because I'm at a point now where even a few years ago, I just kept saying no to things that I don't want to do, that I don't care about, that will not make me the money that I want, you know.
• 21:26
SPEAKER_00: So, like I'm very protected over my time, my energy, my you know, thing.
• 21:31
SPEAKER_00: And and also I was just thinking about this.
• 21:33
SPEAKER_00: Like, now there's this whole thing, like moms, you know, they have the baby, and it's like in a year, like they're training for marathons, they're at CrossFit.
• 21:39
SPEAKER_00: Like, to me, it's a little bit intense.
• 21:41
SPEAKER_00: Now, if that's what you want to do, and that's genuinely what brings you joy, obviously I'm all for it.
• 21:46
SPEAKER_00: But for me, I'm more of a flowing person now.
• 21:50
SPEAKER_00: So, like fitness to me is a lot of at-home, you know, Pilates videos and and yoga videos, like literally in my room, you know, like on YouTube.
• 21:59
SPEAKER_00: Because I don't I don't feel like I have to do like all this crazy stuff and weightlifting and you know, crossfit, like for what?
• 22:06
SPEAKER_00: You know, like I tried a lot of that and it's kind of exhausting.
• 22:09
SPEAKER_00: Again, if if a woman mom watching this like that's what she loves, then that's great, but I wouldn't do it for the pressure.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_00: So uh you were asking, like, how I structure my days, it's quality work blocks, not quantity.
• 22:23
SPEAKER_00: And even with my private brand consulting practice, Ryan, we have capacity.
• 22:28
SPEAKER_00: So once I hate capacity, I'm not just onboarding people because I I need money all the time, you know.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_00: I I will say, Hey, you know, can we start in July?
• 22:38
SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm like I'm I'm I'm not overloading myself and you know doing that anymore.
• 22:44
SPEAKER_00: Cause I I definitely was operating out of hustle and out of lack and out of I don't have enough.
• 22:51
SPEAKER_00: And I don't blame myself for being there because I think most of us started there.
• 22:56
SPEAKER_00: And to be fair, most of us are still there.
• 22:59
SPEAKER_00: Now I made it out.
• 23:00
SPEAKER_00: I made it out with a lot of meditation, with a lot of self-work, self-worth healing.
• 23:06
SPEAKER_00: So I don't want to function like that anymore.
• 23:09
SPEAKER_00: You know, and even just like now when I go outside, it's like, you know, now I'll take a coffee break.
• 23:15
SPEAKER_00: People are rushing, you know, nobody is like in the moment.
• 23:19
SPEAKER_00: You can see it in their eyes.
• 23:21
  SPEAKER_00: They're stressed.
• 23:22
SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't have to be that way.
• 23:24
SPEAKER_00: And I think I like rescued myself from that race.
• 23:27
  SPEAKER_00: I'm not there.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_00: I by no means am I sitting here going, I'm there, but I am definitely well on the path.
• 23:34
SPEAKER_00: And I'm very, very proud of that because if I can get out of that, then then so can you.
• 23:40
SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't want to fall on that either.
• 23:42
SPEAKER_01: And what stuck out to me was the for what?
• 23:44
SPEAKER_01: Like asking yourself, for what?
• 23:46
SPEAKER_01: What are you doing this for?
• 23:47
SPEAKER_01: And, you know, more money, right?
• 23:51
  SPEAKER_01: Sounds great, right?
• 23:52
  SPEAKER_01: But for what, right?
• 23:53
SPEAKER_01: What what's like what's the cost of that?
• 23:55
SPEAKER_01: And so for me, that really sticks out.
• 23:57
  SPEAKER_01: The marathon for what?
• 23:58
SPEAKER_01: Well, I like to challenge myself.
• 24:00
  SPEAKER_01: I like to do stuff I don't think I can do.
• 24:03
SPEAKER_01: Or nobody else thinks I can do.
• 24:05
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 24:05
SPEAKER_01: I'm one of those, like, I want to prove you wrong.
• 24:07
  SPEAKER_01: Tell me I can't do this.
• 24:09
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna prove you wrong and I'm gonna do it.
• 24:10
SPEAKER_01: If I was looking back 10 years ago and you could say, you could show me, like, hey, you have this today, I'd be like, no way.
• 24:17
  SPEAKER_01: That's awesome, that's incredible.
• 24:19
SPEAKER_01: Because I came from, you know, paycheck to paycheck, you know what I mean?
• 24:23
SPEAKER_01: Like barely making it, like basically like driving for Amazon because I had to, you know what I mean?
• 24:29
SPEAKER_01: Like doing what you have to do.
• 24:30
SPEAKER_01: And now it's like, you know, money's not that big of a concern.
• 24:34
SPEAKER_01: And like we have stuff and we're comfortable.
• 24:35
SPEAKER_01: And you know, like there's nothing I I don't have that, you know, that I really want.
• 24:40
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 24:40
  SPEAKER_01: Like it's or there's nothing that I want that I don't have, I should say.
• 24:43
SPEAKER_01: So I wanted, and I know we're running over, so I want to ask one last question before you kind of answer and then tell the viewers where they can find out more about you, how to get those discovery calls with you, and and really like learn about your systems.
• 24:56
SPEAKER_01: Like, why is the corporate lifestyle more safe than being a CEO?
• 25:00
SPEAKER_01: Why do people like believe that?
• 25:03
SPEAKER_01: Because at any point in my career, you know, there's layoffs.
• 25:06
SPEAKER_01: I have quarterly layoffs, I work for a university.
• 25:09
  SPEAKER_01: Quarterly layoffs.
• 25:10
  SPEAKER_00: Very good question, Ryan.
• 25:12
SPEAKER_00: I think it's a very apt question to end on.
• 25:14
  SPEAKER_00: Couple of things.
• 25:15
SPEAKER_00: People don't believe in themselves enough, Ryan.
• 25:17
SPEAKER_00: So that is the number one uh fear.
• 25:21
SPEAKER_00: If I uh somewhat get myself a job, you know, even if I screwed up a lot of the interviews or whatever, but it like worked out for me, you know, I do have this sort of stability that, okay, you know, I I should be good for a while, right?
• 25:35
SPEAKER_00: Whereas me going out on my own, guess what?
• 25:38
SPEAKER_00: I have to double, triple, quadruple believe in myself every day just to survive.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_00: Not to even make it and thrive, but just to survive.
• 25:47
SPEAKER_00: And again, just from my hundreds of conversations on a daily basis on DMs, I mean, go-getters don't really believe in themselves, you know, to that degree, to the degree that I need to be functioning for nine years.
• 25:59
  SPEAKER_00: Uh, they just don't.
• 26:01
SPEAKER_00: Now, am I saying they can't get there?
• 26:03
SPEAKER_00: No, they can get there.
• 26:04
SPEAKER_00: But I'm saying that they're not there right now.
• 26:07
SPEAKER_00: So for them to like jump and take a leap of faith and all, like it's not, it's not really viable right now.
• 26:12
  SPEAKER_00: Number one.
• 26:13
SPEAKER_00: Number two is they don't know how to sell.
• 26:16
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 26:16
SPEAKER_00: So that that is again a very tactical problem.
• 26:20
SPEAKER_00: This is again, can it be fixed?
• 26:22
SPEAKER_00: Yes, it can be fixed, but it requires a lot of work to be fixed.
• 26:27
SPEAKER_00: Sales is a skill, it's also a mindset, you know, and combined with the fact that right now a lot of them don't even really believe in themselves.
• 26:36
SPEAKER_00: Now you're looking at very difficult situations where you know they're not really even confident in themselves.
• 26:42
SPEAKER_00: Oh, and by the way, they can't really sell.
• 26:45
SPEAKER_00: Now, like this is a struggle, right?
• 26:47
SPEAKER_00: And then number three, I would add, Ryan, a lot of people are not that good with people.
• 26:53
SPEAKER_00: So there's a lot of like trauma.
• 26:56
SPEAKER_00: Like the people who follow me, like they're always in like some drama situation, like they're attracting wrong people a lot.
• 27:04
SPEAKER_00: They're always in scam situations, like they're getting scammed, or like they're scamming others, or like, you know, so basically their reader is a little bit off.
• 27:16
SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
• 27:17
SPEAKER_00: Like in business, like I knew from the rip that you are like a sweet guy, nice guy, because I have a good sense now of like people and that, but like imagine if you just have no idea what you're doing.
• 27:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, this could this could be bad for you, you know, where okay, you're not really good at sales, you're trusting all the wrong people, you're getting scammed, you're losing all your money.
• 27:40
SPEAKER_00: So, you know what I'm saying?
• 27:42
SPEAKER_00: Like, there's a confidence issue for which I think a lot of people are not cut out for business because I I'm on threads all day, not to uh post content, Ryan, but to consume content.
• 27:53
SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people, you know, they get very personal on threads.
• 27:57
SPEAKER_00: And so one of the recurring threads that keeps going viral is stepped away from entrepreneurship and back to my nine to five, feeling better than ever.
• 28:07
SPEAKER_00: You know, you should do it too.
• 28:09
  SPEAKER_00: Something like that.
• 28:09
SPEAKER_00: Like that thread keeps going viral.
• 28:13
SPEAKER_00: And I always like try to see I'm like, why?
• 28:15
SPEAKER_00: What about entrepreneurship scared her so much or just didn't really vibe?
• 28:20
SPEAKER_00: Because it's it's interesting and and we should know.
• 28:23
SPEAKER_00: And again, what keeps coming back up is like lack of benefits, you know, lack of structure.
• 28:28
SPEAKER_00: And so that also tells me that this individual is not capable of building their own structure, and that might be because they don't have enough structure on their own.
• 28:38
SPEAKER_00: Now, am I saying that that can't be built?
• 28:41
  SPEAKER_00: It can be built.
• 28:42
SPEAKER_00: Day one, I had some of these qualities that before, I'll be honest, I was judged for a little bit, Ryan, because at 22, basically, if I said I don't want to be friends with her, I don't really like where she's going, it it was seen as judgmental, right?
• 28:58
SPEAKER_00: Whereas now in business, people applaud me for that.
• 29:01
SPEAKER_00: They're like, this is great that you're not hanging out with the wrong people.
• 29:05
SPEAKER_00: But at 22 to 24, I was seen as a little bit of a diva, as a little bit of a, you know, who does she think she is, or or she thinks she's better than you know, all of us.
• 29:17
SPEAKER_00: And so I would say now on the other side, people like me, we struggle to fit into I think the normal world and the real world, maybe.
• 29:30
SPEAKER_00: And and I think part of the reason that I'm building this sort of digital identity and platform is because I don't feel like I fit in in the real world always, you know.
• 29:41
SPEAKER_00: But I also think each go-getter has their own place, and maybe this was my calling to build this sort of digital home for a lot of people following me who also feel like they don't really fit in.
• 29:52
SPEAKER_00: Because I get that message a lot.
• 29:54
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I have queer black African, like this very niche, and she's like, I love your stuff, and like thank you for just existing.
• 30:02
SPEAKER_00: And I mean, you know, so I found my calling, and you know, but a lot of the qualities I'm being celebrated for today were also the qualities that, you know, it was hard for me to, you know, find my path at 23 because it was, you know, you're very loud and you know, you're outspoken, and you know, you want to be the speaker, but I mean you're 23, what are you gonna talk about?
• 30:28
SPEAKER_00: You know, and you're a diva, and you know, you you're you know, you think that you're better than everybody, you know, all this stuff.
• 30:35
SPEAKER_00: So now in business, it's like, well, yeah, I I have to have a little bit of ego to win, you know?
• 30:41
SPEAKER_00: Like, I have to say, Ryan, let's get on a call.
• 30:44
SPEAKER_00: Like, if if I don't do that, then like how will we make money?
• 30:48
SPEAKER_00: You know, so it's so funny that a lot of the qualities that were not going in my way 10 years ago, now it's all like actually fueling my growth, which means that I'm like in the right lane.
• 31:01
SPEAKER_00: And 10 years ago, I think I was just in a wrong sort of lane, you know, for me.
• 31:07
SPEAKER_00: And it's like like think about like do you could you see JLo working at Microsoft?
• 31:11
SPEAKER_00: Like, you know what I'm saying?
• 31:12
SPEAKER_00: It's just some people are not meant to do certain things, you know.
• 31:17
SPEAKER_00: And for me, I tried like the consulting and sort of strait jacketed path, and it just wasn't for me.
• 31:24
SPEAKER_00: And and you look at me today, and I'm speaking, and I'm out here, and I like how could I have done this, Ryan, in that world?
• 31:31
SPEAKER_00: I would have been fired.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's no there's no way, you know?
• 31:36
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
• 31:36
  SPEAKER_01: J-Lo.
• 31:37
  SPEAKER_01: J Load Microsoft.
• 31:39
SPEAKER_00: You know, I mean, again, like she's brilliant, like I think she's the one of the smartest women, but just she's so glamorous.
• 31:46
SPEAKER_00: She's and that and that was part of my issue, Ryan.
• 31:49
SPEAKER_00: Where I'm just like, I'm too, you know, glamorous, I'm too this, I'm uh to a lot of things.
• 31:54
SPEAKER_00: And now I'm a big believer that your calling is your calling, you know, and now I'm finally able to be me and be respected for me, but at the same time use my brain in a huge way.
• 32:07
SPEAKER_00: As you know, building anything sustainable and revenue generating is not easy at all, you know, and but I'm I'm being respected for what I bring to the table instead of can you just change this and not do that?
• 32:21
SPEAKER_00: And you know, can you can you just you're too much and you know, so then no, she she's always been an inspiration from that angle, you know.
• 32:29
SPEAKER_00: She's a multi, you know, business owner and all this stuff, but she's doing it in her own way, you know.
• 32:35
SPEAKER_00: So sometimes I look at like in my own world, you know, I was J-Lo, right?
• 32:40
SPEAKER_00: Like just so glamorous, so big, dancer there, and then you're gonna tell her to like sell software.
• 32:46
SPEAKER_00: Like, it's just it wasn't it wasn't feeling good, you know.
• 32:51
SPEAKER_01: So the authenticity that you bring, the the realness that you bring to the show, like talking about how you did it, how you continue to do it, you know, gives me a lot of advice and insights.
• 33:02
SPEAKER_01: And so how can people find you on the internet?
• 33:05
SPEAKER_01: How do people go find your frameworks and start auditing their own systems?
• 33:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so so no, this is and I think it's something that I've been thinking too is you know, you you are talking about your own challenges.
• 33:16
SPEAKER_00: I think my challenge, Ryan, is is AI and all this stuff with AI.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_00: So sometimes I'm always like, well, how do I make me stand out?
• 33:23
SPEAKER_00: But how do I make my content stand out?
• 33:26
SPEAKER_00: And the number one answer that always comes to me is be the most real you can be, because guess what?
• 33:32
SPEAKER_00: AI is not real, right?
• 33:34
SPEAKER_00: And and it's not human and it's not sort of vulnerable and and and it doesn't connect with people.
• 33:40
SPEAKER_00: And I think that is my superpower uh in terms of my content and just me being me.
• 33:46
SPEAKER_00: Uh, because we we definitely want to get big into live events, Ryan.
• 33:50
SPEAKER_00: I want to host, you know, retreats, I want to host, you know, events and for for basically go-getters to buy tickets, you that's that's what I need to be selling, is like this real experience, and that's what you know they're gonna you know pay for, but to to up level their lives.
• 34:05
SPEAKER_00: But follow me at Speaker Shin Jini across all social media.
• 34:09
  SPEAKER_00: So S-P-E-A-K-E-R-S-H-I-N-J-I-N-I.
• 34:14
SPEAKER_00: And again, my brand is all about being in a go-getter in life, love, relationships, career, business.
• 34:20
SPEAKER_00: I mean, are you truly going and getting it or are you just thinking about it?
• 34:24
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 34:24
SPEAKER_00: And I can definitely show you the mirror.
• 34:27
  SPEAKER_00: Uh, sometimes it's ugly.
• 34:28
  SPEAKER_00: I I'm I'll be, you know, I put a disclaimer here that it's it's not always pretty.
• 34:33
SPEAKER_00: I don't sugarcoat things because I want you guys to grow, because I I want to grow.
• 34:40
SPEAKER_00: But I think what I really like about my approach and how I even just coach in the DMs and even like how you and I talk, like and how we're here, is that I'm I'm gentle, I think, in my in my approach and also about all the blocks that go getters are facing, right?
• 34:58
SPEAKER_00: Because I think there's a lot of content out there that shames kind of our money blocks or like, why are you still here?
• 35:05
SPEAKER_00: You know, why are you still, you know, a manager at 40?
• 35:08
SPEAKER_00: Whereas I think you'll see that my approach is not that.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_00: My approach is let's look at, you know, what got you here, let's clean up some stuff to move to the future.
• 35:17
SPEAKER_00: And oh, by the way, let's leverage everything that you've been through to create sort of this badass, amazing, beautiful brand in the future.
• 35:25
SPEAKER_00: Because I'm competing with other motivational speakers, performance strategists that, if you agree with me, are very harsh, very, very harsh.
• 35:34
SPEAKER_00: So it's a lot of like you suck, you know, hey Ryan, you know, you suck, you know, you're not good enough.
• 35:39
SPEAKER_00: You're not where you want to be.
• 35:40
SPEAKER_00: Whereas my approach, even women in the space talk like that, if you notice.
• 35:46
SPEAKER_00: So my approach is a lot more gentle and is a lot more positive, but serious, right?
• 35:53
SPEAKER_00: I I do mean business, I do want to get you results, you know, I'm getting myself results, but I think I'm doing it in a much more positive, fun, uplifting, but firm way.
• 36:04
SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why we have the success that we have and and we are continuing to grow, you know, where we are.

SPEAKER_00: And part of the reason that I don't want to listen to their stuff, because I'm like, I don't want to be yelled at for two hours straight, you know?
• 36:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 36:22
  SPEAKER_00: Because I I I know where I'm struggling.
• 36:25
SPEAKER_00: I don't need someone to tell me that because I already know that.
• 36:28
SPEAKER_00: So I think my approach is like, I see you, I got you, I got you.

SPEAKER_00: Let's let's help you clean up some of those blocks, let's move forward.

• 37:09
SPEAKER_00: So it's all about gratitude, it's about positivity, it's not about why I am not here.
• 37:15
SPEAKER_00: Because I think that emotion will block any progress that you've been having.
• 37:19
  SPEAKER_00: So I don't think like that.
• 37:21
SPEAKER_00: And if you want to be a go-getter, you should not think like that either.
