  Speaker 1: and it's time right now for today's word. Praise before

  Speaker 1: the promise. Praise before the promise. Genesis thirteen seventeen through

  Speaker 1: the land, for I am giving it to you. So

  Speaker 1: Abraham built an altar to the Lord. Abraham found himself

  Speaker 1: in a difficult spot after separating from his nephew Lot.

  Speaker 1: Their herds and flocks had grown so large that the

  Speaker 1: land couldn't sustain them. Both. Out of humility and peace,

  Speaker 1: Abraham allowed Lot to choose first. Lot took, of course,

  Speaker 1: the lush, fertile valleys near the Jordan, leaving Abraham with

  Speaker 1: a dry, lesser, pilly land. From the outside, it may

  Speaker 1: have looked like Abraham got the short end of the deal.

  Speaker 1: But here's the beauty of God's way. Man's best will

  Speaker 1: never ever outweigh God's promise. Right there, in the middle

  Speaker 1: of disappointment and uncertainty, God gave Abraham a vision much

  Speaker 1: bigger than the land Lot had chosen. He told Abraham

  Speaker 1: to walk the land and see it, for he was
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: giving it to him and his descendants. Abraham's response was
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: not to complain, not to sulk, but to build an altar.

  Speaker 1: He worshiped God before the promise was fulfilled, thanking God

  Speaker 1: in advance for what was coming, because he trusted God.

  Speaker 1: See that's a powerful principle for us today. God had

  Speaker 1: placed promises in your heart. He's promised dreams, breakthroughs, healings,

  Speaker 1: restorations that may seem far away or even impossible. The

  Speaker 1: land may not look fertile to you right now, the

  Speaker 1: circumstances may not look favorable, but faith builds the altar

  Speaker 1: before the blessing. Come, old Jesus, Faith says Lord. I

  Speaker 1: don't see it yet, but I thank you for what

  Speaker 1: you've already spoken. I trust you to bring it to pass.

  Speaker 1: When you look back, you'll see that every time you

  Speaker 1: built an altar of gratitude, every prayer, every declaration, every

  Speaker 1: moment of faith, it strengthened you for the journey. It

  Speaker 1: feels your hope for what's still ahead. So don't wait

  Speaker 1: until you hold a promise to give God praise. Go

  Speaker 1: ahead and build a build an altar right now. Worship

  Speaker 1: to worship you. Like Abraham, we choose to build our

  Speaker 1: altar today, giving you fakes for what you've already spoken

  Speaker 1: and what you're gonna bring to pass. God, we believe

  Speaker 1: that every promise is yes and amen in you in

  Speaker 1: Jesus' name. Ay, now that's your word for today. Take

  Speaker 1: it apply to your everyday life, and continue to praise
