- 0:00Speaker 1: The Jerogun experience.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I'm married to the daughter of immigrants. I do think
- 0:05Speaker 2: that immigration can enrich this country. I do think that,
- 0:08Speaker 2: you know, immigrants, many of them are bringing a lot
- 0:12Speaker 2: to the table. But we have to be honest with
- 0:15Speaker 2: ourselves that permitting five hundred thousand immigrants in a society
- 0:20Speaker 2: like ours is much different than permitting five million or
- 0:24Speaker 2: fifty million immigrants. And importantly, where are the immigrants coming from?
- 0:28Speaker 2: What are their values, what are their economic skills? There's
- 0:31Speaker 2: something record, what's their criminal record? There's something very in
- 0:35Speaker 2: sort of the modern Again, this is a new thing
- 0:38Speaker 2: because this is not Bill Clinton liberalism. This is something
- 0:41Speaker 2: that we're seeing today where they don't even want to
- 0:43Speaker 2: talk about the quality and the backgrounds and the skills
- 0:48Speaker 2: of people coming in our country. Somehow, it's fundamentally racist
- 0:51Speaker 2: to say, well, we don't want certain people of certain
- 0:54Speaker 2: backgrounds to be in the United States of America. No,
- 0:57Speaker 2: it's just common sense. I mean, let me sort of
- 0:59Speaker 2: give you a very specific example. Okay, so you know,
- 1:04Speaker 2: ask yourself, should America accept one hundred thousand immigrants from Mexico? Okay?
- 1:12Speaker 2: Just in the abstract, Well, Mexico is a gigantic country
- 1:16Speaker 2: with millions upon millions of people. Who are we talking about.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Are we talking about people who speak English as a
- 1:22Speaker 2: second language and don't have criminal backgrounds, or are we
- 1:24Speaker 2: talking about people who don't even read and write in
- 1:26Speaker 2: Spanish and do have criminal backgrounds, Because those same groups
- 1:30Speaker 2: of people, even though they come from the country we
- 1:32Speaker 2: call Mexico, are going to assimilate and contribute to America's
- 1:35Speaker 2: society much differently. There's something in the modern liberal mind
- 1:39Speaker 2: that doesn't even allow you to ask the question, who
- 1:42Speaker 2: does America benefit from bringing into this country? And the
- 1:45Speaker 2: answer is we don't benefit, then why would we bring
- 1:47Speaker 2: them into the country.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Well, it's also this the concept of being anti open border,
- 1:54Speaker 1: somehow or another became attached instead of safety. It became
- 1:59Speaker 1: attached to xenophobia. It became attached to racism. And when
- 2:04Speaker 1: you know, you confront people and say, do you know
- 2:06Speaker 1: that Venezuela is literally opening their prisons and instructing people
- 2:11Speaker 1: to just cross into America? Like no, when you tell
- 2:15Speaker 1: the one of the wildest ones, I think it was you.
- 2:17Speaker 1: We're having a conversation with a woman. We're discussing the
- 2:20Speaker 1: gangs in Aurora, Colorado that.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Have taken me.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and she was like, it's only a couple of buildings.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Well, I said, that's your community. It's only a couple
- 2:29Speaker 2: of apartment complexes, right, with hundreds of people that have
- 2:32Speaker 2: been taken over by Venezuelan gangs. I think, Joe, the
- 2:35Speaker 2: right number is apartment complex is taken over by Venezuelan
- 2:39Speaker 2: gangs is zero.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It's in San Antonio too, It's happening in Sanatampaning everywhere.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It's so crazy that people don't want to admit to
- 2:47Speaker 1: this because if they do, it's empowering the right and
- 2:50Speaker 1: they think it's going to help Donald Trump get elected.
- 2:52Speaker 1: So they're turning a blind eye to dangerous criminals crossing
- 2:56Speaker 1: the border with no recourse, no track, You can't do
- 3:01Speaker 1: anything about it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Well, you see this in some communities because they're small
- 3:04Speaker 2: towns and because rapid migrant influx can happen very quickly
- 3:09Speaker 2: where the town population has been doubled. Okay, so you
- 3:12Speaker 2: don't even have to assume people are criminals. What does
- 3:14Speaker 2: it do to the local public school when all of
- 3:17Speaker 2: a sudden a thousand newcomers show up that don't even
- 3:20Speaker 2: speak English, right, what does it do to the hospital system.
- 3:23Speaker 2: When you now have thousands of people in a small
- 3:25Speaker 2: healthcare system that are showing up to get emergency services
- 3:29Speaker 2: because they don't have access otherwise to a doctor. And
- 3:31Speaker 2: now the American citizens have to wait in line for
- 3:34Speaker 2: seven hours to get to see a doctor because we've
- 3:37Speaker 2: overwhelmed the local hospital system. What does it due to
- 3:39Speaker 2: housing prices. We've seen this in a number of communities,
- 3:42Speaker 2: including those that I represent in Ohio. When you bring
- 3:44Speaker 2: in thousands upon thousands of people, you cannot build enough
- 3:48Speaker 2: houses quickly enough to accommodate that, so the cost of
- 3:51Speaker 2: housing becomes unaffordable for American citizens. It is the craziest
- 3:55Speaker 2: thing that we've seen in this country that you don't
- 3:58Speaker 2: even allow people to talk about the effects of mass
- 4:01Speaker 2: migration anymore. And that's why I think it's one of
- 4:04Speaker 2: the reasons why Donald Trump is going to be elected president,
- 4:06Speaker 2: or at least should be elected president, because he's one
- 4:08Speaker 2: of the few guys who's saying, you know what, no, no,
- 4:10Speaker 2: we're going to talk about this problem. Yes, some immigrants
- 4:13Speaker 2: are good, some immigrants are not good, and that is
- 4:16Speaker 2: an obvious insight to anybody who knows human nature.
- 4:19Speaker 1: What do you think is the goal behind allowing this
- 4:22Speaker 1: to take place. Now, first of all, one of the
- 4:24Speaker 1: things that Kamala Harris has said was that there was
- 4:26Speaker 1: a bill that could have fixed the border problem, but
- 4:29Speaker 1: that Donald Trump did not want it to take place
- 4:32Speaker 1: because he wanted to keep this as a political talking point.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Totally dishonest, totally dishonest. Here here is what was the bill. Okay,
- 4:38Speaker 2: here was the bill. What happened is Okay, let me
- 4:43Speaker 2: talk about what the bill does first. Okay. Number one
- 4:46Speaker 2: is it sets a maximum cap on the number of
- 4:49Speaker 2: illegal immigrants that we could have before the border shuts down.
- 4:53Speaker 2: That maximum cap is two million illegal aliens per year.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It's like one point eighty five million, to be more precise.
- 5:00Speaker 2: That's number one it did. Number two, it codified what's
- 5:04Speaker 2: called catch and release, where a person comes into our
- 5:06Speaker 2: country they're an illegal immigrant, but they say no, no, I'm
- 5:09Speaker 2: not an leegal immigrant. I'm an asylum seeker. And so
- 5:12Speaker 2: their claim for asylum gets adjudicated. But because there's a backlog,
- 5:16Speaker 2: because we have so many their claim isn't going to
- 5:19Speaker 2: be adjudicated for fifteen years. So rather than having that
- 5:22Speaker 2: person wait in Mexico, we give them a work permit
- 5:25Speaker 2: and we give them a legal status and we let
- 5:27Speaker 2: them come into the United States of America. That's called
- 5:29Speaker 2: catch and release. Donald Trump's policy was you have to
- 5:32Speaker 2: wait in Mexico. We're not going to catch you and
- 5:34Speaker 2: then release you into the country for fifteen years. It
- 5:37Speaker 2: codified that. In other words, even if Donald Trump became president,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and this is why he really hated it, is that
- 5:42Speaker 2: he would not be able to undo catch and release
- 5:44Speaker 2: if he won the election, it would be codified into
- 5:47Speaker 2: American law. Third thing that it did nothing on the
- 5:50Speaker 2: border wall, nothing on an immigration system called parole, which
- 5:54Speaker 2: is supposed to be a case by case you grant
- 5:57Speaker 2: parole to people who are fleeing to tyranny. But Harris
- 6:02Speaker 2: has used parole to the tune of millions upon millions
- 6:05Speaker 2: mass parole. Whole categories of country have been paroled into
- 6:09Speaker 2: the United States. They didn't do anything to solve that problem.
- 6:12Speaker 2: So it wasn't a border security bill. It was an
- 6:14Speaker 2: amnesty bill. Now, in addition to what I just said,
- 6:17Speaker 2: it also gave some table scraps to border patrol, and
- 6:20Speaker 2: that is what allows them to hinge onto that one
- 6:23Speaker 2: thing and to say it's a border security bill, no, no, no, no.
- 6:27Speaker 2: It was a mass amnesty bill would have made the
- 6:29Speaker 2: border problem ten times worse, and that's why they ultimately
- 6:34Speaker 2: pushed it, and that's why Republicans fought against it. By
- 6:37Speaker 2: the way, like six Democrats voted against that piece of
- 6:40Speaker 2: legislation because they thought it was kind of a disaster.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So it was not a bipartisan border bill, and in fact,
- 6:44Speaker 2: it was much more bipartisan the opposition to the legislation.
- 6:48Speaker 2: But it has allowed Kamala Harris to go around and
- 6:50Speaker 2: dishonestly claim that she cares about the southern border, even
- 6:53Speaker 2: though when she came into office they bragged about undoing
- 6:57Speaker 2: all of Donald Trump's successful border policies. They did exactly that,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and then we had the massive migrant innovation that we've
- 7:02Speaker 2: seen in the last three years.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And I think it was good on you in the
- 7:05Speaker 1: debate with Tim Wattz when they fact checked you. They
- 7:09Speaker 1: tried to fact you check you and say that this
- 7:11Speaker 1: has always been in place, and you stepped up and said, no, no, no,
- 7:14Speaker 1: this app is new. And this app was specifically used
- 7:17Speaker 1: for shipping, yes, and now they're using it to schedule
- 7:21Speaker 1: people to illegally come into the country. Here's the question, why,
- 7:26Speaker 1: why is this happening? What do you think? I mean,
- 7:28Speaker 1: obviously speculation a little bit, but what do you think
- 7:30Speaker 1: the motivation of allowing this to take place? And the
- 7:34Speaker 1: disproportion number of people that have moved to swing states,
- 7:36Speaker 1: which is also like a little suspicious.
- 7:40Speaker 2: So it depends on how many how many tinfoil hats
- 7:43Speaker 2: do you have in this run? Because I got a wardrobe,
- 7:47Speaker 2: we can get real serious about this real quick or
- 7:49Speaker 2: pretty pretty crazy very quickly. Look, I think what is
- 7:51Speaker 2: obvious is and I've seen this in the halls of Congress.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I've seen it very explicitly. You talk about lobbying, and
- 7:57Speaker 2: we obviously talked about in the context of other industries.
- 8:00Speaker 2: There is a massive corporate lobby for cheap labor in
- 8:02Speaker 2: the United States of America, and that is I think
- 8:05Speaker 2: the main thing that's going on. To think about this,
- 8:07Speaker 2: if you've got millions of illegal aliens, Okay, let me
- 8:10Speaker 2: tell you a story. In twenty seventeenty eighteen, when I
- 8:14Speaker 2: was in the private sector, I was at a business
- 8:16Speaker 2: conference dinner and I was seated next to the CEO
- 8:21Speaker 2: of one of the largest hotel chains in America. This
- 8:23Speaker 2: is I think probably twenty eighteen, and the guy is
- 8:26Speaker 2: going on and on about how much he hates Donald Trump,
- 8:28Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, that's interesting, Like why do you
- 8:29Speaker 2: hate Donald Trump so much? Because again I was I
- 8:32Speaker 2: was sort of a Trump skeptic in twenty fifteen, and
- 8:34Speaker 2: at this point I was kind of, you know, starting
- 8:36Speaker 2: to really get get on the Trump train. And he said, well,
- 8:39Speaker 2: the reason the reason I hate Donald Trump, he says,
- 8:42Speaker 2: is because Donald Trump's border policies have cut down the
- 8:46Speaker 2: number of illegal immigrants, and because I can't pay illegal
- 8:49Speaker 2: immigrants under the table anymore, I have to pay American
- 8:52Speaker 2: workers and they want much higher wages. And I'm this
- 8:55Speaker 2: guy just admitted it. I was like, holy shit, this
- 8:57Speaker 2: guy just admitted that rhyme much to it as a
- 9:00Speaker 2: straight up monopoly man. Evil shit that this guy admitted to.
- 9:06Speaker 2: And I was like, you know, my wife, who's very political,
- 9:09Speaker 2: she was actually at the dinner with me, and she's like,
- 9:11Speaker 2: come again, you just said you don't want Americans to
- 9:16Speaker 2: get decent wages, Like that is the best argument for
- 9:18Speaker 2: Donald Trump's immigration policy is that American workers are getting
- 9:22Speaker 2: higher wages and this is why this corporate ceo hates it.
- 9:25Speaker 2: So whatever the industry is, you've got a lot of
- 9:27Speaker 2: people who want cheap labor and they don't want to
- 9:30Speaker 2: pay American workers higher wages. That's a big part of it.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I do think there's also a power dynamic to it.
- 9:35Speaker 2: In particular, I think Kamala Harris and the Democrats they
- 9:38Speaker 2: want to give these millions upon millions of illegal aliens
- 9:41Speaker 2: the right to vote. They want to legalize them. They
- 9:44Speaker 2: want to make it easier for them to participate in
- 9:45Speaker 2: our elections, and that means fundamentally the end of American
- 9:48Speaker 2: democracy because you're talking about twenty five million people here.
- 9:52Speaker 2: If Kamala Harris gives ten million of those people legal
- 9:54Speaker 2: status and allows them to vote in American elections, then
- 9:58Speaker 2: you say, seventy third do they go Democrat? Republicans will
- 10:02Speaker 2: never win a national election in this country in my lifetime.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And the only way to get them on your side
- 10:08Speaker 1: was would be the Republicans offer the same services and
- 10:13Speaker 1: maybe even be more generous in letting illegals in exactly.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I mean you'd have to literally beat them at their
- 10:20Speaker 1: own game, like I'm going to give you a free house.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah no, I mean, yeah, you know, lifetime is probably
- 10:24Speaker 2: overstating it, but you'd have to. It would take thirty
- 10:27Speaker 2: years for the Republicans to get to a point where
- 10:29Speaker 2: we could even compete with these these newcomers. But again,
- 10:32Speaker 2: it will have degraded the voting power of the people
- 10:34Speaker 2: who have the legal right to be here.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And the states blue forever, the same way they've done
- 10:40Speaker 1: California exactly.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And we saw this, and look, I'm like a Reagan guy, right,
- 10:44Speaker 2: I'm a conservative Republican. But Reagan screwed up a lot.
- 10:47Speaker 2: He's screwed up mental health in this country. People don't
- 10:49Speaker 2: talk nearly enough about that thing. He really screwed up.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Amnesty thing. He really screwed up. Yeah, and people always say, well,
- 10:55Speaker 2: you know, Ronald Reagan. You know, when they critics of
- 10:58Speaker 2: Donald Trump will say, well, look at how Reagan talked
- 11:00Speaker 2: about immigration. Because of what Ronald Reagan did at the
- 11:05Speaker 2: nineteen eighty six amnesty, California is now effectively permanently blue
- 11:09Speaker 2: state except when Arnold won. But Arnold ran as a
- 11:13Speaker 2: super moderate Republican. He was a major celebrity, right, he
- 11:17Speaker 2: was at the height of his celebrity power. And he's
- 11:19Speaker 2: still won barely even though California had been mismanaged. California
- 11:24Speaker 2: is a one party state because of Ronald Reagan's amnesty,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and that's.
- 11:27Speaker 1: The fear, is that the entire country could become one.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Of the entire country becomes that now. It also you
- 11:32Speaker 2: may not appreciate this, but even if you don't give
- 11:34Speaker 2: people the right to vote, it really distorts congressional apportionment
- 11:39Speaker 2: and then the electoral college. You know how this works?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yes, okay too, but.
- 11:42Speaker 2: So okay, so how many you know? We have four
- 11:46Speaker 2: hundred and thirty five congressional seats. Who The way that
- 11:50Speaker 2: you draw those congressional districts is that you try to
- 11:52Speaker 2: draw them evenly based on population, so that everybody has
- 11:56Speaker 2: equal representation. Right, one person, one vote, fundamental principle of
- 11:59Speaker 2: American law. But you don't just count the American citizens.
- 12:02Speaker 2: You also count the illegal aliens. And so, for example,
- 12:05Speaker 2: the state of Ohio lost a congressional seat in the
- 12:07Speaker 2: last census, and states that have high illegal immigrant populations
- 12:12Speaker 2: picked up congressional seats. So you're actually taking away congressional
- 12:15Speaker 2: representation from American citizens and giving it to illegal aliens.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Even if you don't give them the right to vote,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you're still destroying the voting power of American cities because
- 12:25Speaker 2: it's based on population, based on population including illegal immigrants.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Is there a way to change it so that it's
- 12:31Speaker 1: only based on legal American citizens?
- 12:34Speaker 2: Well, Donald Trump tried a proposal that Democrats went nuts
- 12:38Speaker 2: over and litigated, was litigated in the courts, So we
- 12:42Speaker 2: would have to try again. That would ask citizenship status
- 12:46Speaker 2: during the US census, the idea being that if you
- 12:50Speaker 2: ask more people their citizenship status, you get fewer people
- 12:53Speaker 2: who are answering that question. I think that we should
- 12:55Speaker 2: make it, and I do think this would require an
- 12:57Speaker 2: Act of Congress, but I think that it would be constitutional.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Is we should just say that illegal aliens are not
- 13:04Speaker 2: counted for purposes of congressional representation. Yeah, the Democrats would
- 13:08Speaker 2: call that racist, but it's just common sense policy.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Well, especially if it's been shown that you're manipulating it
- 13:13Speaker 1: by moving more people to these places, and even if
- 13:16Speaker 1: they're not legal citizens and they can't vote, it still
- 13:19Speaker 1: counts as congressional seats. Correct, that's kind of crazy. That's
- 13:23Speaker 1: exactly right, it doesn't I The one that drives me
- 13:26Speaker 1: the most crazy is this idea that somehow or another,
- 13:29Speaker 1: it's discriminatory to require ID to vote. That could only
- 13:35Speaker 1: mean I've tried to look at this from the most
- 13:39Speaker 1: charitable position outside of it only makes sense if you're
- 13:42Speaker 1: trying to cheat.
- 13:42Speaker 2: It's exactly right.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You need a ID for everything. Yeah, do you need
- 13:47Speaker 1: an idea to rent a car?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Well, you know it's basically illegal now in California. Yea
- 13:51Speaker 2: to ask for voter ID, which is crazy, which is
- 13:53Speaker 2: totally insane. But you know my view, and I'm sure
- 13:57Speaker 2: you got many many listeners in the great state of California.
- 14:00Speaker 2: The next time you're pulled over by a police officer,
- 14:03Speaker 2: just tell them that you're on your way to vote.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I've seen that name.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Think about this. You can't. If you can't require people
- 14:11Speaker 2: to show voter ID, then I think you're inviting fraud
- 14:14Speaker 2: into your system. And there's also something implicitly very racist
- 14:17Speaker 2: about this because what they say is voter ID means
- 14:20Speaker 2: that black people aren't going to vote. Well. Number one,
- 14:23Speaker 2: if you look at polls, the same level of support
- 14:27Speaker 2: for voter ID exists in the black community is in
- 14:29Speaker 2: the white community. It's about seventy five eighty percent of
- 14:31Speaker 2: blacks seventy five eighty percent of whites support voter ID.
- 14:35Speaker 2: But they're basically saying that black people can't get identification.
- 14:38Speaker 2: When they say that voter ID is racist, they're implicitly
- 14:41Speaker 2: saying black people can't get identification. I think that's an
- 14:43Speaker 2: actual racist concept concept. I actually assume that my fellow
- 14:49Speaker 2: or the black citizens are my fellow Americans, and they
- 14:51Speaker 2: can do the same thing that every other citizen can do,
- 14:53Speaker 2: which is good identification, assass
