- 0:00Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:00Speaker 2: That was very fun doing our Obsession wake-up call.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It could be a new thing. Nikki. Nikki on the line,
- 0:06Speaker 1: but not Nikki from Obsession. Or are you?
- 0:08Speaker 3: Hi, I'm good.
- 0:09Speaker 4: How are you?
- 0:10Speaker 1: Good. What's up? What's your story? Good.
- 0:12Speaker 4: So I have an Obsession story. So my husband and
- 0:15Speaker 4: I watched Obsession for the first time, and it was
- 0:17Speaker 4: probably one of the scariest movies we've ever seen. My
- 0:19Speaker 4: husband does not like scary movies as it is, and
- 0:22Speaker 4: he hates to be scared. And so.
- 0:26Speaker 4: I get up in the middle of the night to
- 0:28Speaker 4: go to the bathroom, and so I did. And so
- 0:30Speaker 4: where he sleeps, our bathroom door is, like, right by us,
- 0:33Speaker 4: by him. And so when I got up to go
- 0:35Speaker 4: to the restroom, I decided to, like, stand in the
- 0:38Speaker 4: middle of the door in this, like, pitch black. And
- 0:40Speaker 4: he sleeps and faces that way. So I just stood
- 0:43Speaker 4: there for a minute, and then he just felt my
- 0:46Speaker 4: presence and, like, screamed so loud. Woke up, like, the
- 0:50Speaker 4: whole house. So the funny thing is my sister-in-law lives
- 0:54Speaker 4: with us. And so the next morning I was telling
- 0:56Speaker 4: her about the story because she also.
- 0:57Speaker 5: Saw the movie.
- 0:58Speaker 4: And I was telling her how bad I scared him.
- 1:01Speaker 4: He was so upset. And she was like, oh, my God,
- 1:04Speaker 4: me and my girlfriend, we heard him scream last night.
- 1:07Speaker 4: And we were wondering, like, is he okay? And then
- 1:09Speaker 4: my sister-in-law thought, she's like, we thought you were getting busy. Like, dang,
- 1:12Speaker 4: my brother screams like that?
- 1:15Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:17Speaker 5: What?
- 1:18Speaker 4: It was so funny. And the funniest thing is my
- 1:20Speaker 4: name is also Nikki, so he's, like, traumatized now.
- 1:23Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Oh, my God. That is so funny. All you had
- 1:26Speaker 1: to do is stand in the darkened doorway. See, it's
- 1:29Speaker 1: the simple one.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:30Speaker 1: We all these years thought it was the chainsaw that
- 1:33Speaker 1: scared people. Turns out it's just Dylan. Just standing there.
- 1:36Speaker 4: He's like, and I could see he's like, I could
- 1:38Speaker 4: see like a white light because I'm so unlike complex.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I could just see long brown hair and like a
- 1:43Speaker 4: white face. And like it scared the heck out of him.
- 1:46Speaker 4: It was so funny.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Why is this movie so scary? I don't want to
- 1:49Speaker 2: see Nikki. So why is it so scary?
- 1:51Speaker 4: It is just creepy. Like it's creepy. The things that
- 1:54Speaker 4: she does in the movie is like, it's just insane.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Like you have to watch it. It's a scary movie,
- 2:00Speaker 4: but it's like a different kind of scary.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And you think about it too. The movie for me, Obsession.
- 2:05Speaker 1: starts off almost like a rom-com where the guy's, you know,
- 2:10Speaker 1: trying to talk about how to ask a girl out.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And it's actually kind of fun. And then it goes
- 2:14Speaker 1: sideways so fast. Well, the thing is, too, it's.
- 2:17Speaker 8: Like everyone always, I feel like, has all eyes on Nikki.
- 2:20Speaker 8: But in my opinion, Bear is the true villain in
- 2:23Speaker 8: the story because he is the reason that she is
- 2:26Speaker 8: the way that she is.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That's true. Or does he lie to her, manipulate her?
- 2:29Speaker 8: No, he literally casts a spell on her is what happens.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Bye, Nikki. Hey, well, thank you for listening.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Bye. Yeah, Nikki comes unhinged.
- 2:40Speaker 8: Yeah, I think it freaks people out because it's like,
- 2:44Speaker 8: I mean, we've seen the movie's obsession, you know what
- 2:46Speaker 8: I mean? And it's just like, it's freaky because it
- 2:48Speaker 8: could be real life. And I think that's what freaks
- 2:50Speaker 8: people out so much.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not like there's a lot of special effects,
- 2:54Speaker 1: just kind of craziness. Chewy, you're on the air. Good morning.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, John Jay. Give me a second because
- 3:00Speaker 5: I know you hate the headphones. So I'm at work.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Give me a second to try to do some hiding.
- 3:06Speaker 2: You've been on hold for three minutes. You can't do
- 3:08Speaker 2: that while you're on hold for three minutes?
- 3:11Speaker 5: Give me a sec.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 3:12Speaker 8: Give him a sec.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Chewy needs a sec.
- 3:15Speaker 6: He said he's at work.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Where do you work, Chewy?
- 3:19Speaker 5: I can't tell you where I work. All I can
- 3:21Speaker 5: tell you is I'm a trimmer.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Okay.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Haircut or bushes? What do you guys think?
- 3:27Speaker 7: I like how you think.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Or down the hall. It's the Aaron trimmer. A trimmer.
- 3:33Speaker 1: We can't tell you where he works. Go ahead, trimmer.
- 3:35Speaker 5: A trimmer is automotive upholstery.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh, very nice. And you know what?
- 3:41Speaker 2: My son, I got his car wrapped a couple years ago,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and now his car is, like, peeling, and I need
- 3:46Speaker 2: to get the wrap removed.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Do you guys do that? I don't do that. All right.
- 3:52Speaker 1: That's a peeler.
- 3:53Speaker 5: I just do strictly interior, so I can do your headliner,
- 3:55Speaker 5: your carpet, your seats, your convertible top.
- 3:57Speaker 7: I can do all that, but not the rest.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You're talking exterior.
- 4:00Speaker 6: He does the interior.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I need a peeler. Yes, ma'am. I need a peeler,
- 4:03Speaker 1: not a trimmer. All right, so what's your story? Chewie,
- 4:04Speaker 1: what's up?
- 4:05Speaker 5: All right, so my story is, you know, Australia Mountain,
- 4:07Speaker 5: this big old huge park. Every Easter, a lot of.
- 4:11Speaker 7: Families get together there, and my mother.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Has 12 brothers and sisters.
- 4:16Speaker 7: My grandparents were there, and.
- 4:19Speaker 7: Everyone gets there.
- 4:20Speaker 5: So I got hundreds of cousins and great cousins. So anyways,
- 4:24Speaker 5: so this kid comes, and he starts terrorizing.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Our family, specifically my mom.
- 4:32Speaker 5: This kid, he's going through. He wasn't talking.
- 4:36Speaker 7: He wasn't speaking.
- 4:37Speaker 5: He was going to my mom. It was the Easter
- 4:39Speaker 5: right after the World Series.
- 4:40Speaker 7: That we won the Diamondbacks, and my mom.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Likes to represent. So the kid's going up to my mom,
- 4:46Speaker 5: pointing at her shirt, and... and enjoying on the dirt.
- 4:51Speaker 7: And my uncles are like just making fun.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Ah, Chewie, it's your long lost brother.
- 4:55Speaker 7: It's your long lost brother. It's your twin brother.
- 4:57Speaker 5: And my mom's crying and I'm just kind of freaking out.
- 5:00Speaker 5: But then my uncles, they shoo him away. And it got.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Kind of crazy.
- 5:06Speaker 5: It got really wild after that. About 30 minutes later,
- 5:10Speaker 5: he comes back. And he had, remember, you remember back
- 5:15Speaker 5: in the day at the grocery store, they used to
- 5:16Speaker 5: have those cheap balls for like a dollar. um in
- 5:20Speaker 5: the cage well he came back with the huge one
- 5:22Speaker 5: and he comes straight to my mom and he's pointing
- 5:26Speaker 5: at my mom's shirt again and he turns the ball
- 5:28Speaker 5: around and it has my mom's exact signature on the
- 5:32Speaker 5: ball in huge letters and my mom starts bawling crying
- 5:37Speaker 5: and my family's real big on wrestling they're big family
- 5:40Speaker 5: wrestlers so um or they're fans of wrestlers my grandma
- 5:44Speaker 5: she 70 something years old, runs up to the kid
- 5:47Speaker 5: and just clotheslines him to the ground.
- 5:49Speaker 1: How old is this kid? Is this kid 17? Is
- 5:51Speaker 1: this kid four?
- 5:53Speaker 5: No, we were, I was, I was probably like 13.
- 5:56Speaker 5: He was probably around my same age.
- 5:58Speaker 7: Cause everyone kept making fun.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It's your long lost brother.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It's your long lost brothers.
- 6:01Speaker 7: You twin brother.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I say grandma beats the hell out of the 13
- 6:03Speaker 1: year old. Then what?
- 6:05Speaker 8: Pretty much.
- 6:06Speaker 5: But to this day, if you mention it, my mom
- 6:09Speaker 5: will cry and all of us just kind of laugh
- 6:11Speaker 5: at it.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So did the kid disappear? Is he a ghost?
- 6:14Speaker 5: No, we don't know who he was. So after we
- 6:18Speaker 5: ran him off the first time, he went up to
- 6:22Speaker 5: other people's parties and was flipping tables and throwing cakes.
- 6:28Speaker 7: I'm Hispanic, you know, we get together, we.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Have food, dessert, postre, all that. So he was going
- 6:34Speaker 5: to other events and flipping their stuff and people were
- 6:36Speaker 5: freaking out. But for some reason, he took a big
- 6:39Speaker 5: interest in my mom.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You know what's weird is I'm Hispanic too, but I
- 6:43Speaker 2: have white friends and they also have food and dessert
- 6:46Speaker 2: at picnics.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right.
- 6:50Speaker 5: You're right. I just think, like, for me, it's like,
- 6:53Speaker 5: why do we have to have cake on this day?
- 6:54Speaker 7: I know.
- 6:55Speaker 1: There's cake on this day.
- 6:56Speaker 6: It's a regular day.
- 6:58Speaker 1: That's fair. Chewy, that's a weird story, dude. I believe
- 7:02Speaker 1: it's real because who would make that up? Who would
- 7:05Speaker 1: put that through? Who would put that call through? That's
- 7:07Speaker 1: what I want. I don't know. All right, Chewy. No
- 7:10Speaker 1: call screener today? Is that what's going on? She just
- 7:12Speaker 1: did obsession bit. All right, Chewy, have a great day, brother.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Thanks for listening, man.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Oh, hey, thank you, guys.
- 7:18Speaker 7: And just to let you guys know, I'm excited.
- 7:20Speaker 5: I'm going to Doja.
- 7:21Speaker 7: You guys got me tickets.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Oh, good.
- 7:23Speaker 7: Exciting, man.
- 7:24Speaker 8: All right.
- 7:24Speaker 1: When is Doja? Next week, right? Yeah, the 29th. Oh,
- 7:26Speaker 1: that's good. Hey, call us after. I want to know everything.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Oh, definitely.
- 7:30Speaker 5: I'll call you Friday.
- 7:31Speaker 1: All right, brother. Have a great day, man.
- 7:33Speaker 5: All right, then.
- 7:33Speaker 1: See you, Chewie.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Bye-bye.
- 7:34Speaker 1: That's nice. Nice guy, Chewie. Hey, we need a contestant
- 7:37Speaker 1: for Minute to Win It.
- 7:38Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Today's a special day. National Slap Your Coworker Day, October 23rd.
- 7:46Speaker 7: Ow.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Slap your annoying coworker day.
- 7:48Speaker 5: What the heck?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Slap yourself very hard in the face, then leave.
- 7:52Speaker 5: When you're slapped, you'll take it like it's... Whoa, I
- 7:54Speaker 5: just got a big headache.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Rhythmic slap, slap, slapping sounds. I gotta get out of here. Down,
- 7:59Speaker 1: get a hold of yourself. If that isn't a slap
- 8:02Speaker 1: in the face, nothing is.
- 8:04Speaker 4: How's your mouth go slap somebody?
- 8:06Speaker 6: It's showtime.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Do you know it used to be called Slap Your
- 8:10Speaker 2: Annoying Coworker Day, but people complained?
- 8:13Speaker 1: That's annoying of them. I know. The first term was fitting.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Let the holiday be the holiday, please.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Did we slap the person that removed that word?
- 8:21Speaker 8: They need to be slapped.
- 8:23Speaker 1: But do you know what? It is also National Croc
- 8:25Speaker 1: Day today. Oh, if you ain't crocking, you ain't rocking. Oh,
- 8:29Speaker 1: not the gator-like thing. No, the shoe. Yeah, I've got my.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Crocs on today.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Do you?
- 8:33Speaker 8: Yeah, well, they're my Crocs flip-flops because they're the most
- 8:35Speaker 8: comfortable shoes ever.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Oh, the Crocs flip-flops are awesome.
- 8:38Speaker 8: So comfy. No, that's not.
- 8:39Speaker 2: So I have some Croc facts that I didn't know about.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I thought it was interesting. Crocs first unveiled at the
- 8:43Speaker 2: Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in 2002. They only had 200 pairs,
- 8:47Speaker 2: and they sold out right away. They aren't made from
- 8:50Speaker 2: rubber or plastic. Crocs are made from material called cross-lite.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And in 2004, Crocs bought the exclusive rights to the material.
- 8:57Speaker 2: They have now sold over 850 million pairs of Crocs.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Wow.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Holy moly. Man, oh man. We could have been part
- 9:05Speaker 1: of it. We could have been.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Each pair of shoes has 26 holes, 13 on each foot.
- 9:11Speaker 2: And the holes are there to provide airflow drainage to
- 9:14Speaker 2: help reduce weight. Crocs bought Jivitz for $ 10 million in 2006.
- 9:19Speaker 2: That's the company that puts all the little charms in,
- 9:22Speaker 2: you know?
- 9:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And in 2017... Crocs walked in Paris Fashion Week. It
- 9:26Speaker 2: was a collaboration with Balenciaga, included 4-inch platform Clorox, which
- 9:30Speaker 2: makes it official. Crocs is a fashion brand.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So some fun, interesting.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Croc facts for you guys. Croc facts. Tiffany's our contestant
- 9:40Speaker 2: for Minute to Win It. Good morning, Tiffany.
- 9:43Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 9:44Speaker 1: What are you doing today? Where are you?
- 9:47Speaker 3: I am in Surprise. I'm just getting ready for work.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Oh, and tell us a little fun fact about yourself, Tiffany.
- 9:55Speaker 3: A fun fact, I love fishing. I went um deep
- 9:59Speaker 3: sea fishing in maui and caught a 22 pound fish.
- 10:02Speaker 10: Wow that's amazing that is awesome that sounds that's sounding
- 10:08Speaker 10: wow look at you go.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Yeah all right it was epic good luck to you.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I hope you win this thousand.
- 10:13Speaker 10: Bucks tiff John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for
- 10:17Speaker 10: you from Peoria Ford right now.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Minute to win it.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Okay, Tiffany, 60 seconds on the clock. You just got
- 10:24Speaker 1: to get all 10 of these right, and you win.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Let's lock in, Tiffany. Here we go. What 2004 comedy
- 10:30Speaker 1: movie stars Will Ferrell as news anchor Ron Burgundy? Anchorman.
- 10:37Speaker 1: What German automaker has four interlocking rings as its logo? Audi.
- 10:44Speaker 1: What Arizona city is home to the original London Bridge,
- 10:48Speaker 1: relocated from England?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Ooh, Lake Havasu?
- 10:56Speaker 1: Did she get it? My headphones came off. Yeah, she
- 10:58Speaker 1: got it. She got it. What type of bird repeats
- 11:00Speaker 1: the word nevermore in Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem?
- 11:03Speaker 8: The raven.
- 11:05Speaker 1: What series features Sheriff Rick Grimes surviving a zombie apocalypse?
- 11:12Speaker 3: The Walking Dead.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Salem is the capital of what U.S. state?
- 11:16Speaker 5: Oregon.
- 11:17Speaker 1: What California city will host the 2028 Summer Olympics? L.A.?
- 11:26Speaker 1: What do you call a word that reads the same
- 11:27Speaker 1: forwards and backwards like race car?
- 11:33Speaker 5: Antonym? I don't know.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Palindrome, right?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Palindrome. Palindrome, dang it.
- 11:42Speaker 6: You were rocking it, Tiff. Good job.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Really good job.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 11:49Speaker 1: That was really, really good.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And behind the scenes, something happened to Rich's headphones popped out.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Is that what happened? Well, yeah, I have a wireless
- 11:55Speaker 1: pack and it dropped and my headphones came unplugged. So
- 11:59Speaker 1: I was feverishly trying to plug it in while you
- 12:00Speaker 1: were answering. But it didn't delay anything that long.
- 12:03Speaker 8: Yeah, but she ended up getting that one wrong anyway.
- 12:05Speaker 1: No, she got that right. Just at the, right when
- 12:08Speaker 1: I plugged it in, I heard her answer. No, I
- 12:09Speaker 1: was talking about the last part.
- 12:11Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 2: So, Tiffany, you get a gift card to Del Taco.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Thank you so much for listening, Tiffany.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Really good player.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Thank you. Thank you guys so much.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You got it. Hold on the line. We're going to
- 12:21Speaker 1: set you up. Interesting.
- 12:23Speaker 2: By the way, Chewy brought up the World Series, the
- 12:26Speaker 2: Diamondbacks won in 2001. Yeah, we were there. And I
- 12:29Speaker 2: think the World Series starts tonight, doesn't it?
- 12:31Speaker 8: It does.
- 12:31Speaker 1: It does. And it's, who's in it? Milwaukee and Tampa.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:37Speaker 1: The Rays. The Rays.
- 12:40Speaker 2: So get this. I saw this fun fact. The World
- 12:43Speaker 2: Series begins tonight in Milwaukee. It's been so long since
- 12:46Speaker 2: the Brewers were in it that I have a montage
- 12:49Speaker 2: of the hit songs of when they were the number
- 12:52Speaker 2: one hit songs in 1982, the last time the Brewers
- 12:55Speaker 2: were in the World Series. And I think we talked
- 12:56Speaker 2: about it yesterday. Neither one of these teams has ever
- 12:58Speaker 2: been or has ever won a World Series. So somebody's
- 13:00Speaker 2: going to win for the first time. But the last
- 13:02Speaker 2: time the Brewers in the World Series, these were the
- 13:04Speaker 2: number one songs of that year.
- 13:28Speaker 1: What a trip. A couple of slappers in there, though.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Right? Yeah.
- 13:31Speaker 1: All right, some more stuff I have for you. Halloween information.
- 13:36Speaker 2: If you're on the hunt for ideas for couples' costumes,
- 13:39Speaker 2: like Peyton, you were going to be Spider-Man and MJ.
- 13:41Speaker 7: Yes.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Is that still happening?
- 13:43Speaker 8: No.
- 13:43Speaker 2: No?
- 13:45Speaker 10: Because her husband was like, I'll be in costume and
- 13:48Speaker 10: you're just going to be in regular clothes.
- 13:50Speaker 8: Yeah, he was protesting. So right now I'm working on
- 13:52Speaker 8: Foxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers.
- 13:54Speaker 5: That's great.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So we will see. That's really good. Yeah. Hasn't he
- 13:58Speaker 1: been Austin Powers before?
- 13:59Speaker 6: Yeah, he has when he was a kid, which is
- 14:00Speaker 6: why it's a problem right now.
- 14:01Speaker 1: He's like, I've already been it.
- 14:02Speaker 8: And I'm like, you're going to listen and you're going
- 14:04Speaker 8: to do it. It's either that or Stack and Mary,
- 14:07Speaker 8: but he wants to do the 80s version and no
- 14:09Speaker 8: one's going to recognize that.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Well, let me give you, these are the top 10
- 14:12Speaker 2: Halloween costumes for couples that don't go out of style.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They never go out of style.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Okay, let me hear.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Number 10 is Shrek and Fiona.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Number nine is Fred and Wilma Flintstone from the Flintstones.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Number eight, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible from the Incredibles. That's
- 14:27Speaker 1: a good one.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Number seven is Barbie and Ken. Number six is Danny
- 14:32Speaker 2: and Sandy from Grease. Number five is Mr.
- 14:35Speaker 1: And Mrs. Smith.
- 14:37Speaker 7: Oh.
- 14:37Speaker 1: How do you dress like them?
- 14:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Are they talking Brad Pitt? Yeah, I think so. I
- 14:42Speaker 1: don't know.
- 14:43Speaker 6: What do you hear in that movie?
- 14:44Speaker 5: Mr.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And Mrs.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Smith either go by the Brad Pitt movie or the
- 14:46Speaker 2: one with Childish Gambino.
- 14:48Speaker 6: Isn't that the one that are the assassins and stuff?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Well, Childish Gambino. The movie Mr. and Mrs.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Smith was about assassins, and then they did a TV
- 14:54Speaker 2: show with Childish Gambino, and it was about assassins.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 14:57Speaker 2: So maybe that's what they're talking about. Number four is
- 14:59Speaker 2: Sally and Jack Skellington. Oh, that's good. Number three is
- 15:02Speaker 2: Bonnie and Clyde.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Oh, that's good. And then number two is Lydia and Beetlejuice.
- 15:09Speaker 2: And the number one couple's costume, they say, of all time,
- 15:12Speaker 2: that is timeless, you can do it anytime, is Morticia
- 15:15Speaker 2: and Gomez Adams from the Adams family.
- 15:17Speaker 6: I wanted us to be the Adams family this year.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that would have worked out great.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Nobody joined in. I was like, Easton, you'd be the
- 15:23Speaker 6: perfect Pugsley. And then Addy's like, I'm not wearing a dress.
- 15:27Speaker 6: And I'm like, okay, guys.
- 15:28Speaker 1: They protest all the fun.
- 15:32Speaker 8: I like the Bonnie and Clyde one, though, because you
- 15:33Speaker 8: can kind of switch it up. Like, we kind of
- 15:36Speaker 8: had a Bonnie and Clyde-esque costume. costume idea and it
- 15:39Speaker 8: was queen and slim which is kind of like a
- 15:41Speaker 8: bonnie and clyde like remake version but more sinners no
- 15:44Speaker 8: well queen no queen and slim is like the black
- 15:46Speaker 8: version of bonnie and clyde okay super cool it's that
- 15:49Speaker 8: the guy that's in you the daniel coyote guy i
- 15:52Speaker 8: think that's his name the main character in um in
- 15:55Speaker 8: that what's called oh get out oh get out that
- 15:58Speaker 8: show it was really good but it's kind of niche
- 16:02Speaker 8: you know.
- 16:02Speaker 2: What you brought up get out that's funny i have
- 16:04Speaker 2: something where they talked about the The top scary movies
- 16:07Speaker 2: to watch.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That aren't scary. Yeah, that was one.
- 16:10Speaker 2: No, it says horror movies for people who don't like
- 16:12Speaker 2: being scared.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 16:14Speaker 1: And Get Out was number four.
- 16:15Speaker 8: Yeah, it's definitely up there because you have a couple
- 16:18Speaker 8: jump scare moments, but also like the message behind it
- 16:21Speaker 8: is terrifying.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It's psychological. It's one of those movies that makes you think.
- 16:24Speaker 2: You know what else I heard is one of those
- 16:26Speaker 2: movies that makes you think is this one that's out
- 16:27Speaker 2: right now, the Documentary. On the dude, on the girl
- 16:30Speaker 2: from Thanos or Thanos or whatever it is. It's got
- 16:33Speaker 2: Norman Felder.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 16:34Speaker 1: That's the one that's. Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I heard that movie is a documentary. It's in theaters now.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It's breaking all kinds of records. I hear it's fantastic,
- 16:42Speaker 2: but it's three hours long. And I heard it just
- 16:44Speaker 2: makes you after you see it like it's got 100
- 16:46Speaker 2: percent of Rotten Tomatoes. And I haven't seen it. I
- 16:49Speaker 2: don't know if I'm going to sit through a three
- 16:50Speaker 2: hour documentary. I'd watch it on TV.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 16:52Speaker 1: But but apparently it's.
- 16:54Speaker 10: Yeah, I feel like I wouldn't go to the theater
- 16:57Speaker 10: for that, but I would definitely watch it on streaming.
- 17:00Speaker 2: So if you see that movie, if anyone's seen the documentary,
- 17:02Speaker 2: please call 877-937-1047. What's it called? It's called like behind
- 17:09Speaker 2: the scenes or things I've seen.
- 17:11Speaker 1: You won't believe the things I've seen.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Kyle is feverishly Googling. You can see everything.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You can see everything, yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Yeah, runtime two hours and 54 minutes.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Yikes.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Whoa, for a documentary? But it's blowing up, man. I'm
- 17:25Speaker 1: telling you, it's huge.
- 17:27Speaker 6: You know we laugh, but then we probably sit and
- 17:28Speaker 6: watch like five hours.
- 17:29Speaker 7: Literally. Literally.
- 17:32Speaker 6: That's what binging is nowadays.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So let me finish real quick.
- 17:35Speaker 2: These are the top movies for people who don't like
- 17:37Speaker 2: being scared, but they're horror movies.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Tremors is up there. That's good. The Sixth Sense, Signs.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Shauna the dead rosemary's baby the rocky or picture show
- 17:47Speaker 2: the others is number 10 that's.
- 17:49Speaker 1: A that's kind of scary and so is i think
- 17:52Speaker 1: six cents is kind of scary too six.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Cents on there uh the menu that's good oh yeah
- 17:57Speaker 2: that's good jennifer's body.
- 17:59Speaker 8: Oh that's so good megan fox.
- 18:01Speaker 2: She killed get out is number four death becomes her
- 18:04Speaker 2: is number three oh yeah that one was good crimson
- 18:06Speaker 2: peak is number two And the number one movie they say,
- 18:10Speaker 2: and I've never seen it, and I don't want to
- 18:12Speaker 2: see it, is The Birds.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Alfred Hitchcock.
- 18:15Speaker 8: Oh, I was thinking the.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I think that's frightening, too.
- 18:17Speaker 8: The Bird Box on Netflix from Sandra Bullock.
- 18:20Speaker 2: No, I think that.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I would have said The Bird Box. Well, that's what
- 18:23Speaker 1: I thought you were going with. I would have said
- 18:24Speaker 1: The Bird Box. The Birds is probably like a 1950s movie,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I'm guessing.
- 18:29Speaker 5: 1950s.
- 18:29Speaker 1: No, I can tell you, it was 1963. Gina, good morning.
- 18:32Speaker 1: You're on the air. Good morning.
- 18:33Speaker 7: Hello. Hi. Hi.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yes?
- 18:40Speaker 3: That's what I'm doing.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I don't know what you're doing either.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I wanted to say about the picture that I had
- 18:46Speaker 3: sent on Facebook.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You sent the picture on Facebook?
- 18:48Speaker 6: Oh, is it a ghost picture?
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 3: It was the one in... So, it's not my picture,
- 18:55Speaker 3: but it's my sister's. It's really creepy. So, basically, she
- 19:01Speaker 3: had moved to Hawaii many years ago.
- 19:03Speaker 9: I think around 2011.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, 2011. 2011. And she was out at the beach
- 19:13Speaker 3: with her boyfriend at the time. And he's like, go
- 19:15Speaker 3: into the water and I'll take a picture of you.
- 19:17Speaker 3: So she went in. I don't remember if he showed
- 19:21Speaker 3: it to her when she got out of the water
- 19:23Speaker 3: or until they got home. But she ended up giving
- 19:26Speaker 3: us a call and was like, because I took a really,
- 19:30Speaker 3: my boyfriend took a picture. We're like, oh, okay. And
- 19:33Speaker 3: we're like, oh, who was with you at the beach?
- 19:35Speaker 3: He's like, there was no one with me at the beach.
- 19:38Speaker 3: So when she showed us the picture, it's her in
- 19:41Speaker 3: the water, but there's something next to her.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Oh, I'm looking at it right now. I'm looking at
- 19:46Speaker 1: it right now. There's something next to her. But it
- 19:49Speaker 1: looks like.
- 19:49Speaker 2: from what I'm looking at, it could be like her foot,
- 19:52Speaker 2: kicking her foot out or something.
- 19:53Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 19:55Speaker 3: For us, it kind of looked like a figure because
- 19:58Speaker 3: it was weird because she was kneeling or, you know,
- 20:03Speaker 3: like on her knees in the water. But for us,
- 20:07Speaker 3: it looked like a figure. But the thing is, For us,
- 20:10Speaker 3: we kind of freaked out a little bit because it
- 20:13Speaker 3: kind of looks like the exact outling of our grandma.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Yeah, because our grandma had passed away in 2011. And
- 20:22Speaker 3: you all saw that.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Like, that looks like grandma. Like, you all agree? Your
- 20:27Speaker 1: family agrees?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Yeah, we all agreed. Like, there was something with you
- 20:30Speaker 3: in the water. Like, who was with you in the water?
- 20:32Speaker 3: She's like, there was no one with me in the water.
- 20:33Speaker 3: And even the boyfriend was like, hey, I need to
- 20:36Speaker 3: show you the picture I took.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Oh, hell.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I don't want you to freak out.
- 20:39Speaker 1: When you zoom in, now I see.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Because from far away, it's like, oh, she's swimming and
- 20:43Speaker 2: she's kicking her back foot. But when you zoom in,
- 20:45Speaker 2: there is a person next to her in the water.
- 20:48Speaker 5: Like it's like underwater.
- 20:50Speaker 2: No, no.
- 20:51Speaker 6: There's like literally. OK, so let me see.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you have to really.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 10: OK, so it's like it looks like a picture of
- 21:00Speaker 10: the beach. And if you're really not paying attention, you
- 21:01Speaker 10: probably don't see either people. And then you see one
- 21:03Speaker 10: person kind of like chest up and then another person
- 21:07Speaker 10: chest up right next to him.
- 21:09Speaker 1: If I zoom in, there it is.
- 21:10Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, I totally see it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: If you look at the.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Water in the reflection, you can see that the figure
- 21:15Speaker 3: has a reflection in the water.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Is she the person on the right or the person
- 21:18Speaker 1: on the left? Who's the ghost?
- 21:19Speaker 5: No, she's the one on the left.
- 21:20Speaker 1: And she's looking at your sister.
- 21:23Speaker 3: The person, the thing that we saw or that was
- 21:26Speaker 3: next to her is on the right.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Looking at her.
- 21:29Speaker 6: The thing on the right almost looks.
- 21:30Speaker 1: More like the person. Oh, okay.
- 21:34Speaker 2: So here's the thing. A lot of people were messaging saying,
- 21:36Speaker 2: I can't find your ghost pictures. I don't know if
- 21:39Speaker 2: we're going to put together a special gallery of these pictures.
- 21:41Speaker 5: We should.
- 21:41Speaker 2: But on Facebook, if you go to John G. Rich
- 21:44Speaker 2: on Facebook and scroll down, we say send us your
- 21:46Speaker 2: ghost pictures there. Everyone has sent the ghost pictures. That's
- 21:48Speaker 2: where you can see it. Gina, thanks for calling in.
- 21:50Speaker 3: I appreciate it. Thanks, guys.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Thanks. Oh, Rachel, you saw that documentary. What's it called?
- 21:56Speaker 6: You can see everything.
- 21:58Speaker 9: You can see everything.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And how is it?
- 22:02Speaker 9: Well, I have a different perspective for it because I
- 22:04Speaker 9: actually used to work at Theranos. And I saw the
- 22:07Speaker 9: day it came out.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:08Speaker 9: So, and I met Elizabeth one time when she came
- 22:12Speaker 9: to Arizona to visit the site, and she's a very
- 22:17Speaker 9: interesting person, and I feel like the documentary captures her
- 22:20Speaker 9: pretty well. It was just so mind-boggling, because.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
- 22:27Speaker 9: It was three hours long, and I was not.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Expecting that, but.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Okay, but is it good?
- 22:32Speaker 9: Yeah, it was very good. I definitely recommend.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Is it good because you used to work there and
- 22:35Speaker 2: you know behind the scenes? Or is it good if
- 22:36Speaker 2: we don't know anything? I mean, what's her name?
- 22:38Speaker 1: What's the company? Thanos? Theranos.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Theranos.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Theranos, okay.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's good even if you.
- 22:44Speaker 9: Didn't work there.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Okay. She's a very intriguing person. I heard her husband's creepy.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Remind me what she went to jail for.
- 22:55Speaker 1: She created this.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Blood test that said just need a little prick of
- 22:59Speaker 1: your blood and they can tell all these things. But
- 23:02Speaker 1: that wasn't true at all. But she had all these
- 23:04Speaker 1: investors investing millions and millions and millions of dollars into it.
- 23:08Speaker 1: And the way she got busted was some equipment that
- 23:10Speaker 1: she ordered did not match or do what it said
- 23:13Speaker 1: it was going to do. Is that what it is, Rachel?
- 23:18Speaker 3: Sort of.
- 23:19Speaker 9: You kind of learn more in the documentary about it.
- 23:22Speaker 1: What did you do for the company?
- 23:25Speaker 4: I actually worked in the lab.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Oh, so you're part of the fraud.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Actually, the Arizona lab was under, like, fine. Like, all
- 23:38Speaker 9: the sanctions and stuff that we went through, we were fine. Like,
- 23:40Speaker 9: we had CLIA lab come in and audit us. And, yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 9: everything came out fine for us. I guess it was
- 23:48Speaker 9: more the LA lab that was not doing things they.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Were supposed to. So what do you do now? I
- 23:53Speaker 1: work for.
- 23:57Speaker 9: I work for CVS, corporate CVS, like Medicare and Medicaid stuff.
- 24:02Speaker 7: Good.
- 24:02Speaker 9: Yeah, helping people get their medication.
- 24:04Speaker 1: That's awesome. Well, thank you for listening, Rachel.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Thank you for listening. Thanks for calling.
- 24:07Speaker 9: Yeah, thank you.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Have a great day.
- 24:10Speaker 5: You too.
