Transcript
- 0:04Hello and welcome back to the episode of Vance Lorencia.
- 0:06How are you all doing up? You're doing great.
- 0:08For today's episode, I want to talk about the Danish deception
- 0:11by Onieka Ahi. Now, before I even say anything,
- 0:17nobody should victim shame anybody.
- 0:19She's a victim whether we like it or not, whether we like the
- 0:23decisions that she made or the choices that she chose to make
- 0:27or the red flags that she ignored, she is still a victim.
- 0:32This man swindled her of over $300,000.
- 0:37So let us give grace. That's Onika.
- 0:43Now Onika is not happy. For some of you who have not
- 0:46watched the Danish Deception, it's on my channel, just type
- 0:52the Danish Deception. I'm going to see the full
- 0:54series. It's about four hours long.
- 0:56So I don't even know how to I'm going to compress that.
- 0:59But I just I'm just going to give you like a reaction from
- 1:01people online. And why Onyika, according to
- 1:05her, she feel attacked by black women.
- 1:08But I don't think Onyika has been attacked by black women.
- 1:12I think she's been attacked by Nigerian women, Ibu women in
- 1:16particular. Now, let me just give you a bit
- 1:19of a context. Oneka is a Nigerian woman.
- 1:23She is, yeah. She was born in America.
- 1:26She grew up in America. Her name is Oneka.
- 1:29I think that's the annoying part of the whole thing.
- 1:32For those people who are angry, they said that somebody named
- 1:35Oneka allowed a Danish man named Martin to defraud her.
- 1:42This is because she also mentioned that one of the man
- 1:47that her husband deferred of I think $50,000, that he said that
- 1:52she asked why he did not come to her.
- 1:54And the man literally told her, you're Nigerian, you are the,
- 1:58you know, 419 capital of the world.
- 2:01I don't know if you're in on the whole thing.
- 2:04So This is why people are angry. This is why Nigerian women are
- 2:07not happy. They said that Onika because in
- 2:12our culture, or yes, let me use Eboo culture, of course I'm
- 2:15evil. The men are supposed to take
- 2:17care of the women regardless. That is their pride.
- 2:22We are oriaku. Oriaku meaning you're just going
- 2:25to sit down and eat your husband's walls If you marry
- 2:29right that is. I mean, I am not saying that
- 2:31people don't marry people who like you, marry husband who you
- 2:34feed or you. Most women are the breadwinners,
- 2:38that is not. But if you're going to go by
- 2:40tradition, the woman is supposed to regardless of what she's
- 2:44earning, the husband is supposed to take care of all her needs.
- 2:49So This is why Nigerian women are not happy with Tunica.
- 2:54They said that you not only got with a white man, a blue blonde
- 3:00eye thought she's old man. You gave him your money, you
- 3:06gave him British American green card.
- 3:11He not only swindled you, your parents, your siblings, your
- 3:16friends, your coworkers. I mean, this man ran, even some
- 3:22Nigerians. Nigerian 499 sat down and we're
- 3:27taking notes like, oh, the Danish Prince, Is he
- 3:31overthrowing Nigerian Prince or what?
- 3:34But it is a sad situation. But one of the things that
- 3:38people actually took away from the whole thing is because Onika
- 3:42was travelling, I think she was in the face of her life where
- 3:46she wanted to travel because she said she had worked very hard.
- 3:50She wanted a break. Like she just needed something
- 3:53to to, you know, get her off the stress of working.
- 3:59So she travelled. But I think what she was not
- 4:02saying was that I think her cousin or her sister got married
- 4:07to a white man or the person she actually went to see is married
- 4:11to a white man. So she wanted that life.
- 4:15Ladies, be careful what you wish for.
- 4:17Don't, don't envy anybody. If you see somebody marry to
- 4:21somebody or marry to a different race and they're telling you all
- 4:25those sweet things about their marriage, about their union,
- 4:29don't think that you're just going to find anybody and
- 4:32they're going to fit into that mould.
- 4:35Find your own person. Don't have a type.
- 4:38What did I've realised is, you know, I've learned to to not
- 4:42have a type. Listen, there are certain things
- 4:47that the person must have, like money.
- 4:49Yes, you must have money. I mean, duh, if we're going to
- 4:52get together, we're going to have children.
- 4:55Who's going to pay? Yeah, I can help here and there,
- 4:58but you should be. You should be the primary
- 5:01breadwinner. Monika was trying to be the
- 5:07modern wife or the modern woman who the guy told her he was a
- 5:12Prince. Ding, Ding, Ding.
- 5:14Meghan Markle. She was thinking she is that,
- 5:17you know me. Even there, I think there's a
- 5:20picture that they took that was really similar to Meghan
- 5:23Markle's wedding photo where they sat down on a staircase.
- 5:29People kind of juxtaposed that together and said this is what
- 5:32she was looking for. Is that true?
- 5:34Maybe or maybe not. She was one of the contestants
- 5:40in Bachelorette, I think in Paradise or something like that.
- 5:43So the guy, I think Cole, who is he?
- 5:49Cole can't remember his name, but he's blonde hair and blue
- 5:52eyes. So I think she fell in love with
- 5:54that and then she wanted exactly that kind of man.
- 6:00Unfortunately, she met somebody who not only took advantage of
- 6:05her naivety of her age because that man is in his 40s, late
- 6:1240s, if not early 50s. So he's not young and he kind of
- 6:17love bombed her from the beginning.
- 6:19He was telling her everything that she needed to know.
- 6:22You know, don't tell men, regardless of the race, what you
- 6:29want in a man because they are just going to become that and
- 6:35scam you and leave you high and dry.
- 6:38They would take you to the desert and leave you there
- 6:41without water like Oneka. This is why Nigerian women are
- 6:48angry, because Nigerian women believe that the man should take
- 6:52responsibility. If a man wants to buy me a Rolls
- 6:56Royce, why would I start saying no, Kia is fine?
- 6:59No, I'll be like, how about private jets, You know, How
- 7:07about that? So sometimes they call evil
- 7:12women or evil girls or Nigerian women gold diggers.
- 7:16This is why, because if she had allowed that man to spend money,
- 7:23which I think he was even prepared to do, just to get her,
- 7:26hmm, she just fell into the wrong hands.
- 7:33And nobody's immune. Nobody's immune.
- 7:36You can get married today. You know, he spends everything.
- 7:40Maybe he's probably scamming other people to take care of
- 7:44you. And then you get into that
- 7:45marriage thinking you're married to somebody who is wealthy, and
- 7:49then he starts scamming you, start giving you, oh, we're now
- 7:53married. There's this business idea I
- 7:55need to. He was lagging.
- 7:58He said he bought apartments. He said he was royal, he said he
- 8:04had 300,000 in his account. She was still planning a
- 8:07wedding. So you could understand the
- 8:14anger that some people are feeling towards her and I think
- 8:18it triggered a whole lot of people.
- 8:19They are not just angry with her but mad at the situation because
- 8:24some people have been in their shoes and most of them don't
- 8:27want to admit it, so they'd rather take out their anger on
- 8:31Oneka. When you can.
- 8:33I hope you heal. I hope you find peace.
- 8:36I hope this has taught three lessons.
- 8:38She did, you know, talked about, she talked about some lessons
- 8:41that she's learnt. And I am very, very sure that
- 8:47she would not try this. Next time.
- 8:52When you can, don't try it. Next time you don't, don't try
- 8:55it. Get your money, get Netflix
- 8:58deal, get Prime deal stream to a documentary.
- 9:04I don't know, because I, I believe, I strongly believe that
- 9:07this man has done this to a lot of people and we want it to look
- 9:12like or we want, we want something like this.
- 9:15The the, the Tinder swindler on your car.
- 9:18Get that, get the ball rolling. Get your money, get millions.
- 9:23He took 300,000. We want you to make millions
- 9:26minimum half, $1,000,000 from this whole situation.
- 9:31That is what we want and we're going to push it.
- 9:34Anything you want us to do, we're behind you.
- 9:36We're going to push it. We're going to, we're going to
- 9:38make sure that you're made whole.
- 9:41I wish you healing and don't blame yourself.
- 9:44Yes, people are blaming you but just take it all in, take the
- 9:49lessons and make that money. OK?
- 9:52Now let me know what you think. Do you think that Nigerians are
- 9:55mad at Anika because she she broke the golden rule by giving
- 10:00the man money? Or do you think that Reneka was
- 10:03just in love? That was her first love.
- 10:05She was naive. He was a a sweet talker and he
- 10:11she swindled her Or do you think that she was just she just
- 10:16wanted her life and didn't go as you know she wanted it?
- 10:20Let me know what you think. Thank you very much for watching
- 10:22today's episode. Please like, like, like and
- 10:23share. Thank you very much for
- 10:25watching. Bye bye.
