  Speaker 1: Not after you get to know Nicki Minaj. So she

  Speaker 1: was amazing. What a treat and what an honor to

  Speaker 1: be able to sit down with her. She doesn't do

  Speaker 1: that often. So it really was awesome that she said yes.

  Speaker 1: And I wasn't really sure what to expect. I don't

  Speaker 1: think I'd ever met her before, but sometimes you meet

  Speaker 1: people and it's like a quick hello and then You

  Speaker 1: don't get a real sense of who they are. Look,

  Speaker 1: she really is kind of the epitome of the American dream.

  Speaker 1: And whatever you think of her music, a lot of

  Speaker 1: people love her music. I like a lot of her music, actually.

  Speaker 1: She really has a huge platform. And a lot of
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: people want to know what she has to say about things,

  Speaker 1: which is why it was such a big deal when

  Speaker 1: she came out and endorsed President Trump and told people
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: she was going to vote for him.

  Speaker 2: I think that.

  Speaker 1: The fact that she is saying vote red is probably
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: not surprising because what I think a lot of people
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: are finding is that while their parents may have been Democrats,

  Speaker 1: their grandparents may have been Democrats, everyone they know around
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: them sort of is in that mode of voting Democrat.

  Speaker 1: They realize at a certain point, well, maybe we haven't
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: questioned why people are doing that. And maybe we need
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: to take stock of what it is that the Democrats
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: are actually presenting to us. And I think whenever you
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: look at a group that she mentioned in our interview,
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: like Black Americans, I think a lot of people feel
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: very taken advantage of by the Democrat Party. This is
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: a voting bloc that is very important to the Democrats,
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: but they basically have neglected that entire voting bloc for
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: a long time. And so for people like Nicki Minaj,
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: she took a look at things finally for herself and said, well,
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: wait a minute.
• 2:07
  Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a part of Hollywood. Yeah, I'm a part
• 2:10
  Speaker 2: of the music industry.

  Speaker 1: And yes, I know that they encourage everybody to vote
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: for Democrats, but what are they doing? And what have
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: they done for any of us? In fact, they have
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: really done nothing. If anything, they've taken our country in
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: the wrong direction and they've made life worse for so
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: many people.

  Speaker 2: And what you.

  Speaker 1: Typically hear is that most politicians don't actually want to
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: tackle a problem because then they don't have anything to
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: run on again, right? So these people who are lifers,

  Speaker 1: which is probably why we need term limits, but that's
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: a topic for another conversation. A lot of these people
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: talk about a problem, then they don't ever have any
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: intention of fixing that problem because if they fix the
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: problem like President Donald Trump does, number one, he doesn't
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: get any credit for doing any of it. He fixes
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: something like the border where we have for 16 months
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: seen zero, zero illegal immigrants released into the interior of
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: the United States. wow, what a difference it makes to
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: have a different president. No new laws, no act of
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: Congress necessary. This is solely about the laws on the
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: books and enforcing them. But, you know, whenever you see
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: something like that, people don't even talk about the border.
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: That was the number one issue in 2024. So I
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: think she saw a person like Donald Trump who actually
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: addresses these problems, who does what he says he's going
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: to do. And who continues to just tick off his list. OK, well,
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: we got this done. We got this done.

  Speaker 2: We solved eight wars. We did it. He's going down
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: the list and he's doing it.

  Speaker 1: And it was the Trump account she talks about that
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: really impressed her with this president, where he's giving a
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: leg up financially to our next generation of Americans. You know,
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: kids who are being born right now have the opportunity
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: to have this huge savings account by the time they
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: become adults. And what a boost that will be for
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: so many kids. She says, like, I wish something like

  Speaker 1: that existed for me when I was a kid. She
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: came to the United States at five years old from
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: Trinidad and Tobago. She and her family lived in Queens
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: and it was tough. You know, it was a she

  Speaker 1: did not have an easy go of it. She had
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: to work for everything she has now. And so she
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: sees someone like President Trump who's actually delivering on his promises.

  Speaker 1: And she doesn't let all the nonsense, all the noise,

  Speaker 1: all the commentary from the liberal media and the talking
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: heads out there and the people who really don't actually
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: care about your best interests. She lets all that go
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: by the wayside because they have tried to convince America
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: that this man is a racist dictator who has no
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: business in the White House. And she said, well, let
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: me just see what he does. And she loved what
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: he did. And she's still loving what he did. And

  Speaker 1: she understands the importance of these upcoming midterms and especially
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: the role that the young Americans right now are going

  Speaker 1: to play in these midterms and in our upcoming elections.

  Speaker 1: So Nicki Minaj said, vote red. I support it 1000%.

  Speaker 1: And I would encourage you to get everyone you know

  Speaker 1: orthopedics at New York Presbyterian. And he ended up doing

  Speaker 1: the surgery on my wrist. And of course I had
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: a cast on this one as well. Um, and he
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: told me, he said, all right, if you shorten your
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: dress by two inches in the front, I will allow
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: you to walk down the aisle with no casts on.

  Speaker 1: But as soon as the ceremony is over, you got
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: to put them back on because you know how it is.

  Speaker 1: You're there with all these people.

  Speaker 2: I think we had 400 guests at our wedding and

  Speaker 2: you have to say hi.

  Speaker 1: To everyone and you're moving around the ballroom and this, that,

  Speaker 1: and the other. And he was like, if you fall

  Speaker 1: and you go down on that wrist, it is game over.

  Speaker 1: I don't know that I can fix you after that one.

  Speaker 1: So I had a plate and my gosh, I forget

  Speaker 1: how many screws in this wrist. I got it taken

  Speaker 1: out since then. So We're all healed up and back

  Speaker 1: to normal.

  Speaker 2: Knock on wood. All good.

  Speaker 1: But yeah, that's how. So I did have it on
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: for most of my wedding day, actually. But the walk
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: down the aisle and the wedding photos, he allowed me
• 8:38
  Speaker 1: to make sure I didn't have it on.

  Speaker 2: So very much appreciated, obviously. Here's the truth.
