- 0:00Speaker 1: So let's start at the beginning with Nacker. So I
- 0:05Speaker 1: had first been introduced to nako in. My sister was
- 0:07Speaker 1: actually going through the program with her late husband at
- 0:13Speaker 1: the time, and there was like a seminar that they
- 0:16Speaker 1: had to go through, and I was learning I never
- 0:18Speaker 1: heard about the program before that. They didn't actually go
- 0:22Speaker 1: all the way through with the program, which I find
- 0:24Speaker 1: a lot of people don't. The retention is so a
- 0:27Speaker 1: lot of people have criticized Knacker because they're like, it's
- 0:30Speaker 1: a lot that you got to go through. It's very strenuous.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So what's the first step in the Knacker process?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Like you said, going to that meeting.
- 0:39Speaker 3: It's about three or four hours and that's all over
- 0:40Speaker 3: the country.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Right. They pretty much break down everything, all of the
- 0:44Speaker 2: benefits of the program, the things that you have to do,
- 0:46Speaker 2: the rules for the program, things you can't do to
- 0:48Speaker 2: the program, and yeah, from there, you know, you sign
- 0:52Speaker 2: up and let them know what date you want to
- 0:54Speaker 2: meet with a mortgage counselor it could be up to
- 0:57Speaker 2: two years out, it could be up to two weeks out.
- 0:59Speaker 2: But you put whatever when you're comfortable. I tell people
- 1:01Speaker 2: all the time, don't go into you're ready you know
- 1:04Speaker 2: what I'm saying, don't go into your like all the
- 1:06Speaker 2: way ready, don't go just trying to see what they
- 1:08Speaker 2: gonna say and all that, like, you know, don't test
- 1:10Speaker 2: the program, like, no, go when you're ready, when you
- 1:12Speaker 2: know you have your documentation order, You got your two
- 1:14Speaker 2: years work history and order, you got your two years
- 1:16Speaker 2: tax history and audio bank statements order like these are
- 1:19Speaker 2: things that all lenders require, not just NAKA. So it's
- 1:23Speaker 2: like you shouldn't be going to a lender any unless
- 1:25Speaker 2: you have this stuff in order anyway, But NACA is
- 1:28Speaker 2: just extra strict about their documentation because essentially, you're going
- 1:32Speaker 2: to these people asking them for hundreds of thousands of
- 1:35Speaker 2: dollars for absolutely nothing.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Your credit ain't shit, you ain't really shit, like you
- 1:39Speaker 3: know what I'm.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Saying, like most of the time, for real, for real,
- 1:43Speaker 2: all time, like, but these people are still willing to
- 1:45Speaker 2: give you a chance. Most lenders, when you go to
- 1:47Speaker 2: them in that situation, what they're doing they're closing, doing
- 1:50Speaker 2: your face and giving you a decline letter.
- 1:51Speaker 3: NAKA. They're gonna give you.
- 1:53Speaker 2: A checklist of things to do and tell you to
- 1:55Speaker 2: come back when you have those things done. Your ID
- 1:58Speaker 2: with them is still gonna be attacked. Your foul with
- 2:00Speaker 2: them still gonna be intact. You're still gonna be able
- 2:02Speaker 2: to update documents and send stuff in, but they're just
- 2:04Speaker 2: not gonna qualify you for a loan until you get
- 2:07Speaker 2: things marked off that checklist.
- 2:08Speaker 4: So it's a pretty strenuous checklist. So it's not it's
- 2:12Speaker 4: thank That's why I'm saying, like people most people with
- 2:14Speaker 4: the common misconception. It's like yo, I've seen people say, Yo,
- 2:17Speaker 4: I tried twice and I just can't.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Get through it. What is it?
- 2:20Speaker 4: Is it the fact that they don't have that profile
- 2:23Speaker 4: that you just spoke about intact, or like, what is
- 2:26Speaker 4: the thing that is blocking people?
- 2:27Speaker 3: To me?
- 2:28Speaker 2: A lot of times it was my own fault. I
- 2:29Speaker 2: was getting in my own way, Like so just my mentality,
- 2:33Speaker 2: you know what I mean. So I'm you know, pointing
- 2:35Speaker 2: a finger at them, Like a lot of times they'll
- 2:37Speaker 2: be like, man, send us to this document or can
- 2:40Speaker 2: you resend this? And I would get mad and frustrated
- 2:42Speaker 2: and want to go back and forth and stead of
- 2:43Speaker 2: just sending the document, like you know what I mean,
- 2:45Speaker 2: So what if you got to send it twice?
- 2:46Speaker 3: Like it's just stuff?
- 2:47Speaker 2: Get lost stuff, get caught up in you know what
- 2:49Speaker 2: I'm saying things like that, and then too a lot
- 2:50Speaker 2: of times people get really frustrated because what they don't
- 2:54Speaker 2: understand is KNAKA is extremely understaffed. They're non for profit,
- 2:58Speaker 2: they're understaffed, and they're overworked. And then you got a
- 3:01Speaker 2: person like me out here screaming from the mountaintops on
- 3:04Speaker 2: eyl where there's millions of people following, Hey, y'all, y'all
- 3:08Speaker 2: can go get y'all Malta, you in it with the
- 3:09Speaker 2: knack of program. So now there's this rush of people
- 3:12Speaker 2: going to the knack of program, and now they're even
- 3:14Speaker 2: more overwork than more overwhelmed. So it's like there has
- 3:16Speaker 2: to be a level of patience and understanding when you're
- 3:19Speaker 2: taking advantage of a program like this and just really
- 3:21Speaker 2: getting like, all right, cool, I know if I exercise
- 3:25Speaker 2: patients at the end of all of this, there won't
- 3:28Speaker 2: be anything better out there for me. So I made
- 3:31Speaker 2: a real the other day that said, I compare NAKA
- 3:35Speaker 2: to Tom Brady and Jordan. They're not the biggest, they're
- 3:38Speaker 2: not the strongest, they're not the fastest, but they're the
- 3:40Speaker 2: best in the clutch when it comes to the closing table.
- 3:43Speaker 2: When you look at those numbers, they're gonna deliver every
- 3:46Speaker 2: single time in the championship. Like you won't find anybody better.
- 3:50Speaker 2: You won't find just you won't find better numbers ever.
- 3:52Speaker 2: And it's the same thing like I said with Brady
- 3:54Speaker 2: and Jordan. No, they're not the most anything, but they
- 3:57Speaker 2: just the best and they delivering the clutch when it's
- 3:59Speaker 2: time too steps.
- 4:00Speaker 1: All right, So you got to go to the seminar. Yep,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's like an all day thing, three four hours and
- 4:06Speaker 1: they edited. What do they teach you on the seminar?
- 4:08Speaker 2: They don't teach you anything. They just tell you about
- 4:10Speaker 2: the program, you know, like the benefits of the program,
- 4:13Speaker 2: like I say, the rules and different things like that.
- 4:15Speaker 2: NAKA doesn't teach you real estate, so like if you
- 4:17Speaker 2: don't know real estate, you probably have to go learn
- 4:19Speaker 2: real estate and then go through the program. Because I
- 4:22Speaker 2: tell people this all the time, no matter what program
- 4:25Speaker 2: you're going through, if you're going to buy property, have
- 4:27Speaker 2: some knowledge because if you don't, you're at that point
- 4:29Speaker 2: leaving your agent, your attorney whoever to kind of like
- 4:33Speaker 2: hijack your deal and lead you wherever it is you want.
- 4:35Speaker 2: To go as opposed to you quarterback in your own deal.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So have some knowledge and some information on this stuff.
- 4:40Speaker 2: So when you go in, you can kind of tell
- 4:41Speaker 2: your agent, hey, look, I'm looking for a multi unit
- 4:43Speaker 2: property undervalue that has people living in and already cash flowing.
- 4:47Speaker 2: You can tell the lender, hey, look, i'm qualifying. I'm
- 4:49Speaker 2: going to apply for a multi unit property, So don't
- 4:52Speaker 2: just qualify me based on my income. I'll let you
- 4:54Speaker 2: know how much the income the building is generating, you
- 4:56Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Like, you work with these people
- 4:58Speaker 2: and tell them what it is that you're looking for
- 5:00Speaker 2: so they can put the play together for you, you
- 5:01Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. But if you don't know anything
- 5:03Speaker 2: and you're just depending on these people to do the
- 5:05Speaker 2: work for you, you're not gonna get anything done because that's
- 5:08Speaker 2: not their job.
- 5:09Speaker 4: So that's one of the things, right, So you have
- 5:11Speaker 4: to have to do your due diligence before you go
- 5:13Speaker 4: in anything, and you have to have your profile ready.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Before you go. Well, I want to just ask what
- 5:18Speaker 3: the profile so here? All right?
- 5:20Speaker 1: So you go through the seminar two hours, then you
- 5:24Speaker 1: meet with a counselor and that's like an hour.
- 5:26Speaker 2: And that's and not the counselor meeting depends on you know,
- 5:30Speaker 2: how much of your stuff you got together. Not so
- 5:32Speaker 2: when you meet with your counselor, that's on the thorough
- 5:34Speaker 2: you know what I mean, due diligence. Start with them
- 5:36Speaker 2: background check, you know, bank statement check. Man, give us
- 5:38Speaker 2: your two years tech history, give us your two years
- 5:40Speaker 2: you know what I mean, work history, you know, just
- 5:42Speaker 2: like give us your like history of like you know,
- 5:45Speaker 2: where you've lived for the past ten years, like things
- 5:47Speaker 2: like that that they ask you. And some people can
- 5:49Speaker 2: get frustrated with it because a lot of times we
- 5:52Speaker 2: tend to have the mindset of man, I don't want
- 5:54Speaker 2: nobody in my business. But it's like, bro, like I said,
- 5:56Speaker 2: you're going to borrow hundreds of thousands of dollars from
- 5:59Speaker 2: these people, Like it's the bank. You need to have
- 6:01Speaker 2: a relationship with the bank. NAKA is funded by Bank
- 6:03Speaker 2: of America, So it's no different than going to Bank
- 6:05Speaker 2: of America, City Bank whoever to go and get a loan.
- 6:08Speaker 2: There are gonna be certain things that are required and
- 6:11Speaker 2: if you doing anything fraud or scam me or anything
- 6:14Speaker 2: like that, of course you don't want nobody in your business.
- 6:16Speaker 2: But if you legit man, get these people what they're
- 6:18Speaker 2: asking for because they're essentially about to change your life.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Now, that person that you meet, let's say you've done
- 6:22Speaker 4: those first two steps and you know you sit with
- 6:24Speaker 4: that person. If that person stay with you through the process,
- 6:26Speaker 4: or you pass.
- 6:26Speaker 2: On, your mortgage council is with you throughout the whole process.
- 6:30Speaker 2: That's who you work with. And if there's a time
- 6:31Speaker 2: where you know, you and your mortgage councilor not getting
- 6:34Speaker 2: the loan, they may not be responsive enough. You can
- 6:36Speaker 2: request to change your mortgage counselor like you have all
- 6:39Speaker 2: of those different options to pretty much like I say,
- 6:41Speaker 2: quarterback your own deal, which is what I did. And
- 6:44Speaker 2: like I told y'all, it's not the easiest process because
- 6:47Speaker 2: there are gonna be times where they may not get
- 6:49Speaker 2: back to you. They may not call back. Like bro,
- 6:51Speaker 2: I was pulling up to the office like you know
- 6:52Speaker 2: what I'm saying, like what's up? Like I sent you
- 6:54Speaker 2: all my documents, I did everything that I'm supposed to do,
- 6:56Speaker 2: like now what's the next steps? And you know they
- 6:58Speaker 2: would go review the five like you know what, mister
- 7:00Speaker 2: hamminges you right, I'm sorry. Let me go in and
- 7:02Speaker 2: you know what I mean, push you through whatever the
- 7:03Speaker 2: case may be. But if you're not proactive in your
- 7:05Speaker 2: own situation, nobody's gonna do it for you. And I
- 7:09Speaker 2: think most times people are used to or I don't
- 7:11Speaker 2: know what they used to, because you can't be used
- 7:13Speaker 2: to anything if you've never bought a property, so you
- 7:15Speaker 2: don't even know the mortgage process. So for you to
- 7:17Speaker 2: complain about somebody not reaching out to you or following
- 7:19Speaker 2: up with you, that's not necessarily your job.
- 7:22Speaker 3: It's your job to follow up.
- 7:23Speaker 2: It's your job to send it in documentation, it's your
- 7:25Speaker 2: job to go to the office, like with anything. That's
- 7:28Speaker 2: what I learned, Like, man, I have to be the
- 7:30Speaker 2: person that's kind of like, you know, controlling a quarterback
- 7:33Speaker 2: of my own situation. Otherwise people it's not important to us.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And also it's like like you said, you don't even
- 7:40Speaker 1: know if you haven't been through the process.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And even on a higher level.
- 7:44Speaker 1: So we we're building the homes and you know, these
- 7:48Speaker 1: are million dollar houses, and we had to go through
- 7:52Speaker 1: a bunch of red tape and send stuff and then
- 7:55Speaker 1: the stuff they ask for the stuff that we just sent,
- 7:57Speaker 1: yeh and it's like it's a headache and it's a hassle,
- 8:00Speaker 1: and it's like, you know, it's not the most efficient
- 8:03Speaker 1: buying a home without the most efficient process.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Period.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I love that you just said that, because people don't.
- 8:07Speaker 3: People think it's just knacker, like.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Everybody gonna ask you the double send documents, and it's not.
- 8:12Speaker 2: This is the mortgage process, this is the home playing process.
- 8:14Speaker 2: And y'all don't y'all ain't never bought shit, so you
- 8:17Speaker 2: don't know. So you just complaining about what you think
- 8:20Speaker 2: you should be getting. Just entitlement, be beating you'll ass
- 8:22Speaker 2: whole time. Let's just call it what it is, beating shit.
- 8:24Speaker 4: That's what we say. It's one thousand, right, that's the
- 8:26Speaker 4: first part even getting a home. But now we, like
- 8:28Speaker 4: I said, we're buildings and now we're deale with permits
- 8:30Speaker 4: and that's a whole other process.
- 8:31Speaker 2: And now you got to go through inspections and stuff
- 8:33Speaker 2: that might not approve certain stuff. It's like man all
- 8:36Speaker 2: a time and a patient's thing. And again, no even
- 8:39Speaker 2: in sports' when you're dealing with hundreds of thousands, millions
- 8:42Speaker 2: of dollars, these things take time. These things take time,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and most times when you hear, like I say, about
- 8:49Speaker 2: somebody getting offered like a big contract. You hear about
- 8:52Speaker 2: them turning the contract down or just not working out
- 8:54Speaker 2: or the deal going bad.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Like this is business. This is just how business works.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Like I said, there are times when you can do
- 9:00Speaker 2: everything right and stuff just still won't go your way,
- 9:03Speaker 2: like its just and then what do you do? Like
- 9:04Speaker 2: you have to get back on the ground. You gotta
- 9:06Speaker 2: get back to it. You can't let it discourage you.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And a lot of times people get emotional about these things.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's why you hear so much slander because like now
- 9:15Speaker 2: you mad oh nakaa did this to you and not
- 9:17Speaker 2: gonna did That's no, you just quit, like you know
- 9:20Speaker 2: what I'm saying, You quit the process essentially because if
- 9:22Speaker 2: you would have stayed down, you would have came up.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Because that's what I did, and that's what my ex did,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and that's.
- 9:28Speaker 2: What my you know what I mean friends did, Like
- 9:30Speaker 2: that's what I've helped so many people through this program
- 9:32Speaker 2: who listen. But it's this it's a mindset thing, you
- 9:35Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Most people don't have their mindset
- 9:36Speaker 2: in order. Like I say, it's entitlement. You feel like
- 9:38Speaker 2: you owed something, It's like, nah, man, you gotta go
- 9:40Speaker 2: earn everything that you need that you got out here,
- 9:43Speaker 2: from property to business customers, Like you have to go
- 9:47Speaker 2: and earn these things. You have to go and show
- 9:49Speaker 2: and prove. You have to like do what you need
- 9:51Speaker 2: to do in order to make things happen. And most
- 9:53Speaker 2: people operate in the space of instant gratification. And I
- 9:55Speaker 2: think the Internet has a lot to do with that
- 9:57Speaker 2: because you see people doing so well, and you see
- 9:59Speaker 2: people accomplishing things, and you see more of the celebratory
- 10:02Speaker 2: moments online. You don't see the hard, behind the scenes
- 10:06Speaker 2: grind that it took. You don't see the offers that
- 10:08Speaker 2: I put in and you know what I mean, got
- 10:10Speaker 2: turned down or got beat out by cash offers. You
- 10:13Speaker 2: didn't see the time we're almost lost ten thousand dollars
- 10:15Speaker 2: in earnest money because you know what I mean, the
- 10:20Speaker 2: contractors didn't do what they were supposed to do and
- 10:22Speaker 2: give me the proper estimates. Just like, it's a lot
- 10:24Speaker 2: of things behind the scenes that people just don't know.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And practicing patience and understanding how this process goes will
- 10:30Speaker 2: make your life and just your process way easier when
- 10:34Speaker 2: it comes to stuff and just a lot less stressful
- 10:36Speaker 2: because it's like, it's not easy. It's a super stressful process,
- 10:39Speaker 2: regardless of whether it's nak an faha conventional. It's a process, man,
- 10:44Speaker 2: And I don't think people understand
