- 1:46All right, let's get this show kicked off,

- 1:49All right, everyone.
- 1:50Again, like I said, welcome.
- 1:52It is so great to have you here.
- 1:54The thing you're avoiding is exactly what you
- 1:57need.
- 1:58Series 5, show number 37, episode number 2.
- 2:02This is a Sunday.
- 2:04Before we kick off the show, you know
- 2:05what we do on Sundays and we do
- 2:07on Thursdays.
- 2:09We actually give a shout out to a
- 2:11local coffee or restaurant shop.
- 2:13Even though I am in Florida, I'm still
- 2:15going to give a shout out to a
- 2:16coffee shop in New Jersey.
- 2:19Today, I'm giving a shout out to Forum
- 2:21Coffee.
- 2:22That's F-O-R-U-M-C-O
- 2:23-F-F-E-E.
- 2:25They're located in a lot of different places.
- 2:28To be honest with you, they're located in
- 2:29Bloomfield, Hoboken North, Hoboken South, Little Falls, Livingston,
- 2:36Fairfield, East Hanover, Madison, Raritan, Hillsdale, Jersey Sea.
- 2:40The one I'm going to pick on right
- 2:42now is going to be the one in
- 2:43Little Falls.
- 2:45178 Nork, Pompton, Turnpike in Little Falls Township,
- 2:5007424.
- 2:52Unfortunately, we did miss them.
- 2:53They closed Monday through Friday.
- 2:55They're open 6 a.m. to 7 p
- 2:56.m. and Saturday to Sunday, they're open from
- 2:587 a.m. to 7 p.m. You
- 3:04can always find more locations by going to
- 3:07forumcoffee.com.
- 3:09All right, guys.
- 3:11What I want to tell you about Forum
- 3:14Coffee is an interesting little place.
- 3:18They have all these different kinds of coffees.
- 3:20Basically, they talk about shopping their beans from
- 3:23Guatemalan beans to Sumatra beans, all these different
- 3:27kinds of beans.
- 3:27They have single origin coffee, dark roast coffee,
- 3:31medium roast coffee.
- 3:33They even have the ability to do wholesale.
- 3:36It looks like to me, let me just
- 3:38see what they have on their menu here.
- 3:40It looks like they have a ...
- 3:42Let me see here what kind of menu
- 3:43they have.
- 3:45I'm just clicking on their more.
- 3:46Sometimes when you click on menu ...
- 3:48There we go.
- 3:49On their menu, as I just pulled it
- 3:51up, it's taking a second for their site
- 3:54to load because it's actually done with Square.
- 3:56Square site, probably from their Square POS.
- 3:59It's taking a minute for it to load
- 4:02so I can tell you exactly what they
- 4:03have.
- 4:04This is taking a very long time to
- 4:07load.
- 4:07It shouldn't be taking that long, guys.
- 4:10I'm on the Square.
- 4:13It looks like we're here.
- 4:15Finally, we loaded.
- 4:18I'm just saying, view the menu.
- 4:23I'm going to put here.
- 4:25I'm just going to put the zip code
- 4:26in here and pop it in this thing
- 4:29here.
- 4:29I'll choose the store that we want.
- 4:32Here it is.
- 4:34They have ice lattes, smooth organic espresso combined
- 4:39with milk.
- 4:39They've got ice matcha lattes.
- 4:42They have ice French toast lattes, cloud espresso
- 4:46coconut, signature seasonal drinks, peppermint mocha latte, gingerbread
- 4:51latte, French toast latte, ice chocolate covered strawberry
- 4:55latte, chocolate covered strawberry latte, a cloud espresso
- 4:59coconut, ice French toast latte.
- 5:02They have hot coffee in a box.
- 5:07What else do they have here?
- 5:09Box of boppy, they call it, which is
- 5:11decaf coffee, 120 ounces.
- 5:13Well, that's a pretty big box.
- 5:15They've got cold brews, cold brew floats.
- 5:19They got ice cannoli latte.
- 5:22That's interesting.
- 5:23An organic nitro cold brew.
- 5:27It looks like just that.
- 5:29They have some hot teas, tangerine, ginger, and
- 5:32some other ones.
- 5:33I'm looking to see if they have any
- 5:35snacks, like any kind of pastries.
- 5:38And from what I can see here, guys,
- 5:39I'm looking.
- 5:40They have a very, very long menu.
- 5:43I'm looking here.
- 5:43It says bottled drinks.
- 5:44I see bottled drinks.
- 5:46I go to the very bottom.
- 5:47Oh, retail.
- 5:48Here we go.
- 5:49Retail coffee, retail snacks.
- 5:51They got bejorn popcorn.
- 5:54Not even sure what that is.
- 5:55Hampton granola organic, masa tortilla chips, cobanero, unreal
- 6:03candy they have.
- 6:05And again, their site's all done under the
- 6:07square because they probably take square to the
- 6:10store.
- 6:10So they're mostly about coffee and things like
- 6:13that.
- 6:15They have a most popular item on their
- 6:17menu and they have a more.
- 6:18So what it does have, I did just
- 6:21find, it was a little tricky getting to
- 6:23it.
- 6:24If you go to more and you go
- 6:25to pastries, they do have pastries.
- 6:27So they do have it just a little
- 6:29troubling to find it.
- 6:29They have crumb cake, they have monkey bread,
- 6:32delicious pull apart cinnamon bread made fresh daily
- 6:35and drizzled with icing.
- 6:37They have, as I said, they have half
- 6:40crumb cakes.
- 6:41They have, so they do have a couple
- 6:44pastries.
- 6:46So that's kind of nice.
- 6:47And they have an entire crumb cake.
- 6:50So you can get an entire crumb cake
- 6:52that serves 24 for $8, or you can
- 6:56get a crumb cake for 5.50 or
- 6:58a half crumb cake for 12, serving 12.
- 7:02Okay.
- 7:02That's a pretty big crumb cake.
- 7:04All right, guys.
- 7:04So shout out to you guys.
- 7:05And the reason I'm shouting out to you
- 7:07is we'll hope you'll visit jcmacademy.com and
- 7:10choose to check out our site, go to
- 7:12the option on the far right.
- 7:15So once you get to jcmacademy.com, you'll
- 7:17see there be an option on the very
- 7:19far right that says contact us in there,
- 7:22just put in your information and let us
- 7:25know that you'd like to host us to
- 7:26do a live show at your place.
- 7:29We'll then do a live author talk after
- 7:33the show.
- 7:34We'll do an author, basically a Q&A
- 7:38and then we'll do an author signing.
- 7:40So again, welcome everyone.
- 7:41Welcome to the ever popular inspirations for your
- 7:44life show.
- 7:44Who am I?
- 7:45All right.
- 7:45I'm John C.
- 7:46Morley.
- 7:47I'm a serial entrepreneur.
- 7:48I'm an engineer.
- 7:49I'm a marketing specialist, video producer, podcast host,
- 7:51coach, keynote speaker, graduate student at Montclair State
- 7:54University, and so grateful now to be a
- 7:57published author.
- 8:02That's delicious, guys.
- 8:03So our master topic, in case you guys
- 8:05forgot about it, this week, your next level
- 8:08will demand a different you.
- 8:11So today I'm talking about avoidance.
- 8:16Sometimes we're already there and we know what
- 8:19needs our attention, but we keep moving it
- 8:21to tomorrow, always another time.
- 8:24Maybe it's a conversation, decision, a project, a
- 8:27question, or a truth we don't want to
- 8:28face.
- 8:30Avoidance can provide temporary comfort, but comfort doesn't
- 8:33solve anything.
- 8:34Let's get into our 30 points, shall we?
- 8:36So number one, pay attention to what you
- 8:37keep postponing.
- 8:39Repeating postponement tells you something.
- 8:42If the same thing keeps moving to tomorrow,
- 8:45ask yourself why?
- 8:46Understand the resistance so you can actually address
- 8:48it.
- 8:49All right.
- 8:49Number two, avoidance makes small problems larger.
- 8:53Many problems are easier when handled early.
- 8:56A misunderstanding becomes resentment.
- 8:58A small task becomes an emergency.
- 9:00Handle things while they're manageable.
- 9:03Number three, stop confusing relief with resolution.
- 9:07Avoidance can make you feel better immediately.
- 9:10You don't make the call or confront the
- 9:12issue.
- 9:13That's temporary relief, not resolution.
- 9:16Number four, the conversation you're avoiding still exists
- 9:20tomorrow, guys.
- 9:21I think some people forget that.
- 9:26Nothing like cold juice.
- 9:28Not having the conversation doesn't eliminate the reason
- 9:31it needs to happen.
- 9:33A respectful conversation today could prevent weeks of
- 9:36unnecessary tension from growing.
- 9:39Number five, face facts before circumstances force you
- 9:42to.
- 9:43Reality eventually demands attention.
- 9:46Look at the facts while you still have
- 9:48time to think, prepare, and make those choices.
- 9:53Number six, stop hiding behind being busy.
- 9:57Busy can become a convincing form of avoidance.
- 10:02You can complete 20 minor tasks while avoiding
- 10:05the one thing that actually needs your attention,
- 10:09your resistance, maybe pointing toward growth.
- 10:13Not every uncomfortable thing is worthwhile.
- 10:15Number seven, but resistance deserves examination.
- 10:19Sometimes we resist something because it pushes us
- 10:21beyond what's familiar.
- 10:24Number eight, do the uncomfortable thing before it
- 10:27becomes urgent.
- 10:29Urgency removes choices, guys.
- 10:32Handle important things before deadlines or consequences force
- 10:35you to do that.
- 10:37Temporary discomfort now can prevent chaos later, so
- 10:40why not pay attention to that because it
- 10:42becomes a real problem?
- 10:45Number nine, stop allowing fear to manage your
- 10:48calendar.
- 10:50Look at what fear keeps rescheduling.
- 10:52Monday becomes Friday.
- 10:53This week becomes next month.
- 10:55Your calendar should reflect your priorities, not your
- 10:58fear, guys, not your fear.
- 11:00Number 10, name what you've been avoiding.
- 11:04Get specific.
- 11:05What exactly are you avoiding?
- 11:07Name it and remove it.
- 11:10Assume it's mystery and let it give you
- 11:12something concrete to now address.
- 11:14Number 11, make the call.
- 11:17Sometimes the next move, pick up the phone.
- 11:21You might not know how it will go,
- 11:23but afterward, you'll have information instead of imagining
- 11:28possibilities.
- 11:29Number 12, start the application.
- 11:32Maybe it's applying for a new job, school,
- 11:35a program, or an opportunity.
- 11:37Don't reject yourself before somebody else even gets
- 11:41the chance to consider you.
- 11:43Start.
- 11:44If you don't start, you can never grow.
- 11:48Number 13, have the conversation, guys.
- 11:51Some conversations become heavier every day they're postponed.
- 11:56Be respectful, prepared, and willing to listen.
- 11:59Courage and kindness can exist together, guys.
- 12:02They can.
- 12:03I think a lot of people don't realize
- 12:04that, but they can.
- 12:06Number 14, open the document, the proposal, assignment,
- 12:11manuscript, report, or project you've been avoiding.
- 12:15It doesn't have to be finished today, guys.
- 12:17Remember, it doesn't have to be finished today.
- 12:19Open it and begin it.
- 12:20Start it, right?
- 12:22Start it.
- 12:23Don't just say, I'm going to do it
- 12:24tomorrow, but then you never really do anything,
- 12:27right?
- 12:28I think those are important things that we
- 12:32don't really realize.
- 12:34Number 15, guys, I invite you please to
- 12:38ask the question.
- 12:40We sometimes avoid questions because we're afraid of
- 12:42the answer, but uncertainty can consume more energy
- 12:45than reality.
- 12:47Ask and then work with the information.
- 12:50That's the key, guys.
- 12:52Ask the question, and then you'll get an
- 12:54answer.
- 12:56Number 16, admit what isn't working right now.
- 13:00We become attached to plans, routines, and strategies.
- 13:04Admitting something isn't working doesn't mean everything was
- 13:08wasted.
- 13:09It means you're paying attention.
- 13:11I think these are good signs to let
- 13:13us know that maybe we're on a path
- 13:15to making a change, and that change might
- 13:19be the success that we've been waiting our
- 13:21whole life for.
- 13:22Number 17, stop preparing forever.
- 13:27Preparation is a valuable thing until it becomes
- 13:30a hiding place.
- 13:32Yes, until it becomes procrastination.
- 13:36Eventually, another video, a book, a checklist, or
- 13:39planning session becomes delay.
- 13:42At some point, you got to begin.
- 13:45I know this happened to me with writing
- 13:46my first book.
- 13:47I kept outlining and outlining.
- 13:48I said, okay, John, enough's enough.
- 13:50I need to stop outlining.
- 13:51I outlined enough.
- 13:52I need to start writing the book.
- 13:55Number 18, action reduces uncertainty.
- 13:58Thinking can only take you so far, guys.
- 14:00Action creates information, and information allows you to
- 14:03make better decisions.
- 14:05That's important.
- 14:06Number 19, avoidance creates imaginary monsters.
- 14:11When we don't know what will happen, our
- 14:14minds fill in the blanks, unfortunately, with things
- 14:17we may not like.
- 14:18The conversation becomes catastrophic, and the task becomes
- 14:21impossible.
- 14:23Reality is usually easier to work with than
- 14:26our imagination.
- 14:28Because sometimes we take our imagination, and we
- 14:30send it down a pathway.
- 14:32We don't want to go.
- 14:35Number 20, difficult truths become easier once they
- 14:40are faced.
- 14:43And they're probably not even a tenth of
- 14:45difficult or as bad as you thought they
- 14:47were.
- 14:48The truth may still be uncomfortable, yes, but
- 14:52now you're dealing with something real.
- 14:54Reality gives you something you can evaluate and
- 14:58respond to.
- 14:59I think that's the most important thing.
- 15:01So our actions and how we create reality
- 15:03actually affect other people.
- 15:06And when that affects people, that affects how
- 15:09they respond to us.
- 15:10Number 21, stop carrying unfinished decisions everywhere you
- 15:16go.
- 15:18An unresolved decision can follow you into a
- 15:22diner your evening.
- 15:24Your weekend, and even, yes, guys, your wonderful
- 15:27sleep.
- 15:28Making the decision can give you mental space
- 15:32back.
- 15:34Space that you want.
- 15:35That space can be the difference between you
- 15:38excelling or you going backward.
- 15:41I think those are very important things that
- 15:44we have to think about.
- 15:45Number 22, handle what repeatedly occupies your mind.
- 15:50If the same issue keeps returning to your
- 15:53thoughts, well, pay attention to it.
- 15:56Determine whether there's an action available and identify
- 16:00your next concrete steps.
- 16:01The reason it may be coming back is
- 16:03because the universe wants you to take action
- 16:06on that.
- 16:08You know, oh, you know, it doesn't matter
- 16:10now, it doesn't matter later, but then you
- 16:11realize that you're not getting anywhere because you
- 16:14keep stuffing something under the rug.
- 16:17And really we have to address that, right?
- 16:20We can't just say, oh, I'll just stuff
- 16:21it under the rug, we'll worry about it
- 16:22later.
- 16:23I told you to stuff it under the
- 16:24rug, right?
- 16:26Number 23, courage often looks ordinary.
- 16:29It does.
- 16:31Courage isn't always dramatic.
- 16:34It can be just sending an email, making
- 16:37an appointment, saying no, asking for help, admitting,
- 16:43yes, I made a mistake, or saying to
- 16:46yourself, I want to start again.
- 16:48These aren't hard things, but what happens is
- 16:52people procrastinate, people put emphasis on this, oh
- 16:56my gosh, if I don't do this right,
- 16:58what's going to happen?
- 16:59So we put so much emphasis on the,
- 17:02what if it goes wrong?
- 17:03Well, what if it goes right?
- 17:05Right?
- 17:06I think that's an important thing.
- 17:07So courage doesn't have to be dramatic.
- 17:09A lot of people I know have to
- 17:11put drama in there because they think it's
- 17:13required.
- 17:13It's not.
- 17:15It is not.
- 17:17Number 24, guys, you don't need confidence before
- 17:21you begin.
- 17:22Confidence frequently comes after action.
- 17:25You act while you're uncertain.
- 17:27You learn from the experience and you discover
- 17:30you're more capable than you ever thought possible.
- 17:35I think that's a very important thing.
- 17:39Your confidence has been with you the whole
- 17:41time.
- 17:42It's just, have you trusted yourself enough to
- 17:45use it?
- 17:46And I think that scares a lot of
- 17:47people because maybe they haven't relied on their
- 17:51confidence in a while.
- 17:52And now they're like, oh my gosh, I'm
- 17:53relying on it.
- 17:53So what do I do?
- 17:55Well, what you do is you use it.
- 17:58And when you use it, you're going to
- 18:00find out that you're actually good.
- 18:03And that's going to reinforce to do more.
- 18:07See, whenever people are timid, they basically have
- 18:11a little bit confidence, but they don't want
- 18:13to use it.
- 18:14But the minute they use it and something
- 18:15goes right, oh my gosh, it's like, oh,
- 18:18why didn't I do this my whole life?
- 18:19What was going on?
- 18:20Why didn't I do this?
- 18:21Okay.
- 18:21So these are important things for us to
- 18:24realize and things that if we change, we'll
- 18:27change our life right away, right?
- 18:29Confidence is the key.
- 18:30Number 25, guys, give yourself fewer places to
- 18:34hide.
- 18:35If you know you're avoiding something, remove some
- 18:39escape routes, schedule it, prepare what you need,
- 18:43make avoidance less convenient and action easier.
- 18:48See, when something is comfortable, we tend to
- 18:53stay with that warm blanket or that cold
- 18:56situation.
- 18:57But when something is harder, we're like, oh,
- 18:59I don't know if I want to go
- 19:00there.
- 19:01It's uncomfortable.
- 19:01I've told you success lies where things get
- 19:05uncomfortable.
- 19:06Number 26, deal with reality while you still
- 19:09have choices.
- 19:11Early action usually gives you more options.
- 19:14Waiting often removes them.
- 19:16And address the important decisions while you still
- 19:18have room to maneuver.
- 19:20You too, guys, you have room to maneuver.
- 19:23Number 27, stop negotiating with something you already
- 19:28know.
- 19:29Sometimes you already know the answer, but you
- 19:32keep reopening the debate because you don't like
- 19:35what it's requiring.
- 19:38Eventually, you have to act on what you
- 19:40know.
- 19:42But you keep coming back and say, you
- 19:43know what?
- 19:43I don't like the answer, so I'm going
- 19:45to keep asking.
- 19:46The answer is not going to change, okay?
- 19:49Number 28, the breakthrough may be behind the
- 19:52thing you're dreading.
- 19:54A lot of people have that.
- 19:57What you're resisting may contain information, opportunity, closure,
- 20:00or growth.
- 20:01You won't discover what's there by standing outside
- 20:04imagining it, guys.
- 20:06You've got to take the action.
- 20:09Number 29, freedom often begins with facing something.
- 20:15Something.
- 20:17There's freedom in finally dealing with something you've
- 20:20carried too long.
- 20:22It may not instantly become perfect, but you're
- 20:25no longer running from it.
- 20:26And I think when we admit to ourselves
- 20:29what it is, and we've decided we're no
- 20:31longer going to run, our life changes for
- 20:35the better.
- 20:36Now, it does get a little uncomfortable.
- 20:38I'm not going to lie to you.
- 20:39It gets uncomfortable when we get started.
- 20:40But as we start moving through that, it's
- 20:43like, wait a minute.
- 20:44That actually wasn't as bad as I thought
- 20:46it was going to be.
- 20:47I can do this.
- 20:49Yes, you can.
- 20:50And the more you do it, the more
- 20:52that your confidence muscle gets strong and says,
- 20:56you know what?
- 20:56I can do this.
- 20:58You're right.
- 20:59You can.
- 21:00Number 30, do what you've been avoiding and
- 21:03discover what's waiting beyond it.
- 21:07This brings everything together, guys.
- 21:09Think about what came into your mind when
- 21:12we started today's show in the beginning.
- 21:13What have you been postponing?
- 21:17What have you been not doing?
- 21:20Don't make a list of 30 things.
- 21:22Pick one.
- 21:24Maybe you need to make the call.
- 21:26Maybe you need to have the conversation.
- 21:29Maybe you need to, as I said, open
- 21:31the document.
- 21:33Maybe you need to submit the application.
- 21:36Maybe you need to ask the question.
- 21:40Maybe you need to admit something's not working.
- 21:45Maybe you need to finally admit to yourself
- 21:49you were wrong and you've got to start
- 21:50over.
- 21:53Whatever it is, identify the smallest meaningful action
- 21:58that moves you toward it.
- 22:01Then what I mean is avoidance makes things
- 22:06appear larger.
- 22:08Every day you don't act.
- 22:10It gives your mind another opportunity excuse to
- 22:13imagine what could happen, what could happen that's
- 22:16bad, because your mind's doing that.
- 22:18More scenarios appear.
- 22:20More questions develop.
- 22:22More fear gets attached to something you haven't
- 22:25faced.
- 22:26Action interrupts that cycle.
- 22:28Action doesn't guarantee you'll get the answer you
- 22:30want, guys.
- 22:32No.
- 22:33It moves you from imagination into reality.
- 22:37Once you're dealing with reality, you gain information,
- 22:41and information helps you make decisions.
- 22:45Decisions give you direction and clarity.
- 22:48That's very different from allowing fear to make
- 22:51those decisions for you.
- 22:53Every time you face something difficult, you're also
- 22:58creating evidence about yourself.
- 23:00You discover you can make an uncomfortable call
- 23:02and live through it.
- 23:04You can have a difficult conversation and get
- 23:07through it.
- 23:07You can begin without being completely prepared and
- 23:10get through it.
- 23:11You can ask a question without knowing the
- 23:13answer and get through it.
- 23:16You can experience discomfort without allowing it to
- 23:19control you, and guess what?
- 23:21You're going to live through it.
- 23:23And that's where this connects with our master
- 23:26topic of the week.
- 23:27Your next level will demand a different you,
- 23:31a different kind of you.
- 23:33Your next level may require a version of
- 23:35you who doesn't automatically retreat when something becomes
- 23:38uncomfortable, right?
- 23:40A version of you who addresses things sooner.
- 23:43A version of you who asks.
- 23:45A version of you who starts.
- 23:48A version of you who can hear an
- 23:50uncomfortable truth and still moves forward.
- 23:54Growth isn't about becoming fearless, guys.
- 23:56It's about becoming less controlled by the fear.
- 24:00So after today's show, ask yourself something.
- 24:04What am I avoiding right now that I
- 24:08already know needs my attention?
- 24:11You probably already know the answer.
- 24:13Then why not ask?
- 24:15What's the smallest real action I can take?
- 24:18Not something to think about for another month.
- 24:21Something real.
- 24:22Make the call.
- 24:23Send the message.
- 24:24Open the document.
- 24:25Start the application.
- 24:27Ask the question.
- 24:29Schedule the meeting.
- 24:30Have the conversation.
- 24:31Take one small step, even if it's a
- 24:33baby step, guys.
- 24:35The thing you've been avoiding may not simply
- 24:38be an obstacle between you and where you
- 24:40want to go, guys.
- 24:42It may be the doorway, and you'll never
- 24:44discover what's waiting on the other side while
- 24:47you're standing outside avoiding it and procrastinating.
- 24:50I think that's an important thing.
- 24:52Ladies and gentlemen, I am John C.
- 24:54Morley, and this has been another amazing episode
- 24:57of Inspirations for Your Life.
- 24:59Remember, guys, relief isn't resolution, okay?
- 25:05Stop letting fear manage your calendar.
- 25:09You'll be glad that you stopped doing that.
- 25:12Stop negotiating with something you already know, okay?
- 25:18You don't need complete confidence before you begin.
- 25:22No, you don't need complete confidence before you
- 25:26begin.
- 25:26Sometimes you need enough courage to take just
- 25:29one action, just one little baby action, okay?
- 25:36Just that one action.
- 25:38Can you think of one in your head
- 25:39right now?
- 25:39Maybe one that's been, I don't know, you've
- 25:41been milling over for how long?
- 25:44Could be days, weeks, months, or even years.
- 25:49But let's make today, tonight, or tomorrow the
- 25:52time you decide, you know what?
- 25:55I'm going to actually take a step, even
- 25:58if it's one step, okay?
- 26:01Sometimes you need enough courage to take one
- 26:04step.
- 26:06Face it, handle it, learn from it, and
- 26:09you've got to keep moving forward.
- 26:12Just agree to take one baby step every
- 26:15day.
- 26:16It doesn't have to be this colossal step,
- 26:19but take one consistent step every day, even
- 26:23if it's something small.
- 26:24I don't want you to take a big
- 26:25step.
- 26:25I want you to take small steps, because
- 26:28the small steps are what's going to motivate
- 26:31you to take another step.
- 26:32And again, don't take any bigger.
- 26:33Just keep taking small steps, and eventually you
- 26:36will get there.
- 26:37Rick, oh my gosh.
- 26:39See, the things you do in life, the
- 26:42small steps lead you to your success or
- 26:44lead you to your failure.
- 26:46So those small steps can lead you closer
- 26:48to your success, okay?
- 26:49So as I said, face it, make the
- 26:52choice now that you're going to handle it.
- 26:55You're going to learn from it, keep moving
- 26:57forward, and realize one thing.
- 26:59It may not be comfortable, okay?
- 27:02But that doesn't mean that you should back
- 27:04away from it, because well, it's not comfortable
- 27:07for me.
- 27:09And I don't want to do anything that's
- 27:12not comfortable, because the thing you're avoiding, are
- 27:18you ready guys for this?
- 27:20Maybe the thing you exactly need in your
- 27:22life.
- 27:24See, fear is false evidence appearing real, and
- 27:29we sabotage ourselves because of fear.
- 27:34Fear is this unfortunate thing that robs us
- 27:39of our ability to exude confidence.
- 27:44A lot of you have confidence, but don't
- 27:46let the fear, don't let somebody else's thought
- 27:48say, you know what, you can't do this,
- 27:50you're not good enough for that.
- 27:51Don't do that, guys.
- 27:53I hope you have a great rest of
- 27:55your day, a great rest of your evening,
- 27:56and I'll catch you guys tomorrow for a
- 27:58brand new show.
- 27:58Be well, everyone, and check out BelieveMeAtYourYouth.com.
