- 0:55Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald, Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well,
- 1:04Speaker 1: Kylie and Travis, they shared a cute video, Kylie did,
- 1:10Speaker 1: of kind of her pregnancy video for her new baby boy,
- 1:13Speaker 1: you know, Stormy's little brother. Very sweet. Everyone loved the
- 1:17Speaker 1: YouTube video. It went crazy. Shortly after that, she posted
- 1:21Speaker 1: on her stories, FYI, our son's name isn't Wolf anymore,
- 1:26Speaker 1: but So when the baby was born on February 2nd, 2022,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I mean, I think, I'm guessing, I mean, that's a
- 1:39Speaker 1: pretty great number. I'm guessing maybe she was slightly induced.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I don't know. That was pretty lucky. But anyway, not
- 1:46Speaker 1: saying that she was, but very lucky to get that date.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I know a lot of people want to get married
- 1:50Speaker 1: on that date and have their kid born on that date.
- 1:53Speaker 1: But she said in February. she announced Wolf Webster, which
- 1:58Speaker 1: is Travis's last name. But anyway, now she said, FYI,
- 2:02Speaker 1: our son's name isn't Wolf anymore. We just really don't
- 2:05Speaker 1: feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because
- 2:08Speaker 1: I keep seeing Wolf everywhere. Prayer hands for all the
- 2:12Speaker 1: wolves out there. We don't know what his name is.
- 2:19Speaker 1: We do not know. We're waiting for the announcements. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: just want to know, did they put it on the
- 2:25Speaker 1: birth certificate and then get home and just felt like,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you know what, he's not a wolf. He's a coyote. No,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I don't know what they named him. So anyway, that'll
- 2:38Speaker 1: be exciting. You know what I think we're going to
- 2:41Speaker 1: know when he's named? The premiere of their new show
- 2:44Speaker 1: on Hulu. It's about a week and a half away.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think it's like April 8th or something. So I
- 2:51Speaker 1: think we're going to know then. A lot of speculation.
- 2:53Speaker 1: A lot of people try to figure it out. Maybe
- 2:55Speaker 1: there'll be some clues. Maybe there's some hints. Maybe we'll
- 2:57Speaker 1: see a flash of a long nail that has something
- 3:00Speaker 1: written on it and someone screenshots it. I don't know.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But we'll see. But it's not Wolf, okay? So don't
- 3:08Speaker 1: call him Wolf. All right, Real Housewives of New Jersey,
- 3:13Speaker 1: The Sun is reporting that Teresa's fiancé, the love of
- 3:17Speaker 1: her life, who she's going to marry, is being sued. Well,
- 3:22Speaker 1: a lot of people get sued. So here's the story
- 3:25Speaker 1: because I just read it. Supposedly, they're saying that Louis
- 3:29Speaker 1: and his business partner owe this other company $ 113, 000. which
- 3:35Speaker 1: they did not pay of produce that they received for
- 3:38Speaker 1: their company called Produce Depot. They got 113,000 pineapples for Teresa's,
- 3:45Speaker 1: because he likes pineapples, my pineapple party. No, I just
- 3:49Speaker 1: thought it was funny that I did not realize that
- 3:51Speaker 1: one of his businesses was Produce Depot, and she was
- 3:54Speaker 1: so into fruit and pineapples. So he apparently, according to
- 3:59Speaker 1: the lawsuit, they said, This money was due. He didn't pay.
- 4:03Speaker 1: He and his partner are the controlling people. He and
- 4:06Speaker 1: his attorneys fired back and said, we're not the controlling
- 4:09Speaker 1: people of this company. We already ate all the pineapple
- 4:13Speaker 1: and we filed for bankruptcy for a million dollars worth
- 4:18Speaker 1: of bankruptcy like a year ago. So good luck ever
- 4:21Speaker 1: getting it. And that's the end of that. I mean, listen.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Anything that happened with this guy, people are going to
- 4:29Speaker 1: write articles and they're going to put them out on
- 4:31Speaker 1: the day that the show airs, which is on Tuesdays.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But she did say on Watch My Albums Live she's
- 4:37Speaker 1: getting married. And she said that Melissa, her sister-in-law, will
- 4:42Speaker 1: not be a bridesmaid. And so that stirred some controversy
- 4:46Speaker 1: last week. Is Melissa sad about it? Melissa said, no,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I don't care. It's fine. And I don't think anybody's
- 4:53Speaker 1: dying to be a bridesmaid like second time around. Like
- 4:57Speaker 1: once you are in your late thirties or older, I
- 5:01Speaker 1: think you're like fine. Like just, Hey, let me just
- 5:04Speaker 1: go to the wedding, wear a cute dress, get you
- 5:08Speaker 1: a beautiful gift that gets sent to your house. I
- 5:10Speaker 1: don't want to bring it either. No one wants the
- 5:12Speaker 1: gifts brought there. Well, who has a big enough car
- 5:14Speaker 1: to bring it home from the, hi, you're all buzzed.
- 5:16Speaker 4: You're just walking.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Nobody. So you just send the gift and show up
- 5:21Speaker 1: cute and you're good. So, No, you have the bridesmaids
- 5:26Speaker 1: and all that stuff the first time around when you're young,
- 5:28Speaker 1: unless you're getting remarried on a TV show. Then I say, yes,
- 5:33Speaker 1: have all the bridesmaids so we can see them. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: could see very much she having Melissa back. But you
- 5:40Speaker 1: know what? Be authentic. If you're a little bit, if
- 5:43Speaker 1: you and Melissa have always been like this, you don't
- 5:44Speaker 1: want Melissa looking really great in her dress, strutting around.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You don't want it to be the Melissa show. Yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 1: don't ask her. You already have four daughters. She really
- 5:53Speaker 1: should just... This is it. Listen to me, Teresa. First
- 5:59Speaker 1: of all, buy your pineapples from a normal store. Don't
- 6:02Speaker 1: let Louie bring some pineapples that fell off a truck. Okay? Literally.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Have the pineapples at your wedding from whatever, Whole Foods
- 6:10Speaker 1: or something. Then just have your daughters be the bridesmaids.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Don't have Jennifer or some old school friend from the neighborhood.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Just have your daughters. That's classy. They all wear... dresses
- 6:26Speaker 1: that work for their body, but are the same color.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And that's it. You don't even have a maid of honor.
- 6:31Speaker 1: You just have all maids of honors and it's all
- 6:35Speaker 1: your daughters and they're all equal. You don't make Gia
- 6:38Speaker 1: the maid of honor. Just, yeah, bridesmaids, just all bridesmaids,
- 6:42Speaker 1: no maid of honor. That's my advice to you. Okay.
- 6:47Speaker 1: All right. TMZ has shared the photographs from the Ritz-Carlton
- 6:55Speaker 1: room of where Bob Saget died. A lot of people
- 6:59Speaker 1: are like, why is anyone talking about this? Why is
- 7:01Speaker 1: TMZ reporting that? They're reporting, and I'm just going to
- 7:05Speaker 1: put an end to this, because as you know, the
- 7:08Speaker 1: family fought to not have any of the photos, autopsy photos,
- 7:13Speaker 1: or crime, not crime, but the photos around him dying
- 7:17Speaker 1: out there. But they did share just a clean room,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I don't know if it's his room, I guess it's
- 7:24Speaker 1: his room, of the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. And they have
- 7:30Speaker 1: now closed the case and said it is this padded
- 7:35Speaker 1: headboard that he hit his head on while getting into
- 7:39Speaker 1: the bed and then he went to sleep. There was
- 7:41Speaker 1: no external bleeding, only internal bleeding. And so now they say,
- 7:46Speaker 1: we think the wound on his head that caused his
- 7:48Speaker 1: death was from hitting Something that was soft on the outside,
- 7:53Speaker 1: but harder inside. Meanwhile, there was another doctor that we
- 7:58Speaker 1: heard about early on that said it looks like he
- 8:01Speaker 1: fell from six feet or was hit with the back
- 8:04Speaker 1: of a head with a baseball bat. Where's that guy?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Has that guy and the guy that said, I think
- 8:09Speaker 1: he hit his head on a padded headboard. Are these
- 8:14Speaker 1: people in the same profession? Have they talked? I think
- 8:17Speaker 1: the point is we're just never really going to know.
- 8:20Speaker 1: But we do know he went in alone. We do
- 8:23Speaker 1: know that when he arrived from driving from the club
- 8:26Speaker 1: at 2 a.m., he seemed perfectly fine. There was no
- 8:31Speaker 1: marks on his car. He didn't get a car accident.
- 8:33Speaker 1: He wasn't slurring. He wasn't acting weird. They didn't find
- 8:36Speaker 1: anything weird in his system, any drugs. They didn't find
- 8:38Speaker 1: anything in his room. At some point, he hit his head.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And maybe they're saying it's the padded headboard because the
- 8:46Speaker 1: Ritz-Carlton is a powerful place and And they don't want
- 8:49Speaker 1: people to think that people are slipping and falling on
- 8:53Speaker 1: the marble floor or the porcelain sink. Things that make
- 8:58Speaker 1: more sense to having, like, and then waking up and
- 9:01Speaker 1: going to bed. I don't know. I don't think we'll
- 9:03Speaker 1: ever know. Rest in peace. Okay. We did The Bad
- 9:08Speaker 1: Vegan on Tuesday. Talked about that show. Louis C.K. had
- 9:16Speaker 1: dated the Sarma girl. And in 2019, there was an
- 9:21Speaker 1: article written by Page Six that, so this was before,
- 9:25Speaker 1: obviously before this Netflix show that came out last week,
- 9:28Speaker 1: emails revealed that Louis C.K. may have given Sarma an STD.
- 9:34Speaker 1: There's emails that were somehow, I don't know how they
- 9:37Speaker 1: found it, maybe because she was, you know, facing trial
- 9:39Speaker 1: at that time, that it was from 2012. They were dating.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And they, it sounds to me like they had a
- 9:48Speaker 1: one night stand and he, she's, he's like, I'm sorry,
- 9:52Speaker 1: maybe I gave you an STD.
- 9:54Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You should have made me wear a condom. And then
- 9:58Speaker 1: he goes on to say, you know, at our age,
- 10:01Speaker 1: isn't everybody kind of got everything? You know, the future
- 10:04Speaker 1: generation will be having sex with glass penises and plastic vaginas,
- 10:08Speaker 1: but we exchange bodily fluids. So, you know, hey, I
- 10:12Speaker 1: think you're great. Sorry if it happened. I don't know.
- 10:17Speaker 1: She also dated her married attorney that was her defense attorney,
- 10:22Speaker 1: who was also the attorney of like El Chapo or whatever,
- 10:26Speaker 1: that big drug dealer. Anyway, those emails were revealed as well.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I read that article and that was very sexual and
- 10:35Speaker 1: like they were definitely getting on and he was married
- 10:38Speaker 1: with two small kids. So, again, a lot more is
- 10:41Speaker 1: being seen about this girl. I mean, she's quite, you know,
- 10:45Speaker 1: she acted like in the Netflix doc that her only
- 10:50Speaker 1: love of her life was her pit bull mix, Leon.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And he was a cute dog, and I understand the
- 10:57Speaker 1: love affair. But she also got around with people like
- 11:01Speaker 1: Louis C.K., the weird guy that she married for his money,
- 11:04Speaker 1: this show. you know, and now she's trying to act like, oh,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don't like the way I was portrayed in this thing.
- 11:11Speaker 1: You were portrayed exactly the way you were portrayed and
- 11:14Speaker 1: this doesn't help. And I love that this info came out. Um, okay.
- 11:19Speaker 1: So the conservative ship of Amanda Bynes is over. Um,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I think it's really great. And this started, Amanda Bynes
- 11:30Speaker 1: was an actress. She was a little comedian, like she
- 11:35Speaker 1: had that sketch show. She did all those like rom-com
- 11:38Speaker 1: type stuff. Then she does have a heart tattoo on
- 11:43Speaker 1: her face. Oh, I hope that, that she gets rid
- 11:50Speaker 1: of that. But anyway, the conservatorship is done. I'd read
- 11:56Speaker 1: prior to this being done that her mom was, her
- 11:58Speaker 1: mom was for it being over with. And Let's see. Unfortunately,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I think she's going to just live a normal life.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I'd be very surprised if we see her doing any
- 12:09Speaker 1: kind of acting or anything. I think she was into fashion.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I don't know what she's going to do besides starting
- 12:16Speaker 1: her own podcast, which she hasn't announced yet, but I
- 12:18Speaker 1: plan on that happening. Amanda, if you want a podcast,
- 12:24Speaker 1: why don't you come on my show? And we'll talk
- 12:26Speaker 1: about your life and, you know, where you are today.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And then everyone will say, I never knew who you
- 12:32Speaker 1: were until I heard you on Juicy Scoop. You should
- 12:34Speaker 1: have your own podcast. And then you will. And then
- 12:36Speaker 1: you'll hate doing it.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Sex in the City, you guys, otherwise known as, and
- 12:43Speaker 1: just like that, got a second season. And of course
- 12:47Speaker 1: it was going to get a second season. I mean,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I would be so upset if it didn't. So, big news.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Big news. I mean, we don't know where Che Diaz
- 13:18Speaker 1: is going to be in this. Remember she left to
- 13:20Speaker 1: LA to start, get her podcast, not her podcast, her pilot.
- 13:25Speaker 1: She put the podcast on hold. Um, what's going to
- 13:29Speaker 1: happen with that? I, I guess that we are not
- 13:31Speaker 1: going to see much of Che Diaz, but we'll see,
- 13:35Speaker 1: you know, I think we'll have a, like a couple
- 13:38Speaker 1: episodes of them breaking up and then Miranda coming back. Um,
- 13:44Speaker 1: But anyway, it's going to happen. I'll do my predictions
- 13:47Speaker 1: at my live show coming up with everybody. I'm going
- 13:51Speaker 1: to say my predictions for that for the second season.
- 13:55Speaker 1: But anyway, some people feel mixed about it. You don't
- 13:57Speaker 1: have to watch it. Cancel it already. You don't have
- 14:00Speaker 1: to watch it. Selling Sunset is coming back April 22nd.
- 14:06Speaker 1: It's all the hottest models that somehow got their real
- 14:10Speaker 1: estate license walking around modern homes and Can't wait. Real
- 14:15Speaker 1: Housewives of Orange County celebrated their 16-year anniversary yesterday. That
- 14:22Speaker 1: was the first episode of the show, and I'm glad
- 14:26Speaker 1: people made a big deal out of it. Like I said, look,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I have strong opinions about what I want for this show,
- 14:34Speaker 1: how I feel it can be improved, what needs to go,
- 14:37Speaker 1: what can stay, but I'll never stop watching. It sometimes
- 14:41Speaker 1: takes me two to three days to get through an
- 14:44Speaker 1: episode because I fall asleep. But I feel like it's
- 14:48Speaker 1: still what I love. Aesthetically, I like to look at
- 14:51Speaker 1: it and we just need to have a little more excitement.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But God, I just look at this and I just
- 14:58Speaker 1: remember the fact that no one had real, like no
- 15:01Speaker 1: one had fake eyelashes, a lot of original teeth and
- 15:08Speaker 1: a lot of movement in the forehead, a lot of
- 15:10Speaker 1: sky tops. And I just, a lot of BB, a
- 15:15Speaker 1: lot of BCBG, and I just, it just gives me chills.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And they are the ones that created a lot of
- 15:24Speaker 1: yellow hair. Remember when Vicki's mom said, well, it looks yellow.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Rest in peace, Vicki's mom. And there's nothing better than
- 15:32Speaker 1: that music that they play at the final party. They don't,
- 15:38Speaker 1: there's no other franchise that has that kind of music
- 15:42Speaker 1: that is Oh, I can hear it right now. And
- 15:45Speaker 1: every time it makes me sad. Oh my God. It
- 15:47Speaker 1: would always be like an end of the summer party,
- 15:50Speaker 1: end of the season. And they're all like, and then
- 15:54Speaker 1: it'll just write whatever sad things happening. You know, Laurie
- 15:57Speaker 1: Peterson's son went back to rehab. She's still working on
- 16:01Speaker 1: her happy place or like all, it was just such
- 16:04Speaker 1: a different time. Cause they didn't really fight with each other. They,
- 16:07Speaker 1: we just followed their, their own weird, sad lives. And, That's,
- 16:15Speaker 1: it was amazing. Anyway. Oh, speaking of OC, so there
- 16:20Speaker 1: was some drama. We talked about the outfits that they
- 16:22Speaker 1: wore for the reunion. Shannon, apparently she was, did a show,
- 16:29Speaker 1: Project Runway, where they had a couple housewives. And she
- 16:32Speaker 1: really clicked with her designer. And so she said to him,
- 16:37Speaker 1: come and do my reunion dress. According to everything I've read,
- 16:41Speaker 1: she flew him out and paid for it and put
- 16:45Speaker 1: him in a nice hotel, which there are only nice
- 16:48Speaker 1: hotels in OC and it's expensive. He then put together
- 16:52Speaker 1: this yellow dress that according to the blogs and stuff
- 16:55Speaker 1: I've read, absolutely did not fit, did not work. She
- 17:00Speaker 1: did not look good on her. They said there was
- 17:02Speaker 1: this netting on the top. I have some photos of
- 17:04Speaker 1: it and it looked like she was caught in like
- 17:07Speaker 1: a fishing thing and So they didn't know what to do.
- 17:11Speaker 1: They held up production for two hours while somebody else
- 17:15Speaker 1: went to like a Neiman's Marcus or something, went to
- 17:18Speaker 1: the South Coast Plaza. I don't know if they were
- 17:20Speaker 1: filming with OC or LA. Got her some dresses and
- 17:24Speaker 1: then this pink dress really worked. She looks good here.
- 17:26Speaker 1: But she still took a photo with her designer in
- 17:30Speaker 1: front of her trailer. So we, you know, seemed like
- 17:33Speaker 1: they were okay. But the designer is now saying this
- 17:37Speaker 1: is the dress in discussion with the help of my friend.
- 17:39Speaker 1: This was made two days before I left to Cali
- 17:42Speaker 1: with three measurements. So he's trying to say I did
- 17:45Speaker 1: everything right. I got measurements. I did this. I don't
- 17:48Speaker 1: know why she wasn't happy. But I guess people forgave
- 17:53Speaker 1: her for starting late because everyone said no. Like even
- 17:56Speaker 1: the other cast members were like, no, you cannot wear
- 17:58Speaker 1: this weird yellow fishing thing.
- 18:01Speaker 5: You can't.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It made her, according to the things I read, it
- 18:03Speaker 1: made her midsection look big. She didn't like it. As
- 18:06Speaker 1: you can see here, she looks really, really good. So
- 18:08Speaker 1: the pink was a good choice. Hope they can save
- 18:11Speaker 1: the friendship. I don't know the guy's name. I'm not
- 18:13Speaker 1: going to say his name because I don't want to
- 18:15Speaker 1: hurt his business. But this is probably going to help
- 18:18Speaker 1: his business because now he'll be like, whatever, it was
- 18:20Speaker 1: a misunderstanding. This same thing happened with Jen Shah's guy
- 18:25Speaker 1: that– the outfit from the first reunion that they recorded
- 18:31Speaker 1: her like screaming at him. And he said he was
- 18:35Speaker 1: treated very badly. He never got paid for his clothing
- 18:38Speaker 1: designs and he'd given her her whole look her whole season.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So maybe you don't want to be the person doing
- 18:44Speaker 1: the Real Housewives of anybody's reunion dress. Speaking of Jen Shah,
- 18:51Speaker 1: so there's another report. This is alleged because I didn't
- 18:55Speaker 1: order it. I don't know. But Jen Shah was doing
- 18:59Speaker 1: her merch, Shah-mazing. She has like a bomber satin jacket
- 19:03Speaker 1: that's like Shah-mazing with a crown on it and t-shirts
- 19:06Speaker 1: and like Jen Shah is legal and all that. And
- 19:10Speaker 1: people are reporting that they have ordered their stuff, sent
- 19:13Speaker 1: their money, A, have not received their money or any
- 19:15Speaker 1: kind of tracking number or anything. I don't know if
- 19:19Speaker 1: this is true, but if it's remotely true and Jen
- 19:22Speaker 1: Shah is a juicy scooper, She better get on this
- 19:25Speaker 1: now and rectify it because this is the last thing
- 19:27Speaker 1: you need for your trial, reputation, everything else. And if
- 19:32Speaker 1: you're anybody that ordered the Jen Shaw stuff and this happened,
- 19:36Speaker 1: DM me. I really want to hear, did you actually
- 19:39Speaker 1: get screwed and send like $ 65 for a sweatshirt and
- 19:44Speaker 1: not get it? Speaking of merch, here's some of my
- 19:47Speaker 1: new merch. Cute tank, cute... zip up just light enough
- 19:51Speaker 1: for summer or when you get a little nippy when
- 19:53Speaker 1: you're walking through the grocery store you just throw this
- 19:56Speaker 1: on and maybe a fellow juicy scooper will come up
- 19:58Speaker 1: to you and be like hey i'm a delight too
- 20:02Speaker 1: would you like to be my friend Anyway, you can
- 20:05Speaker 1: get it all at heathermcdonald.net. You can see me this
- 20:08Speaker 1: week in Southern California at the Brea Improv with Justin Martindale,
- 20:13Speaker 1: 25th and 26th. We're doing stand-up, and then we're doing

- 20:20Speaker 1: left for that event on Sunday, March 27th, with Spencer Pratt,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Chris Rangela, Justin Martindale, Sarah Kalana, all in person. We're
- 20:29Speaker 1: doing such fun, exciting things just for that show. Then
- 20:32Speaker 1: if you'd like to watch it, you have five days
- 20:35Speaker 1: to watch it once you've purchased it, starting March 29th,
- 20:39Speaker 1: and then it'll be gone forever. And you don't want
- 20:42Speaker 1: to miss out on all the juicy stuff we're going
- 20:44Speaker 1: to do. And you go to heathermcdolland.net and you get
- 20:46Speaker 1: the live event. And this is from Moment House. Moment
- 20:50Speaker 1: House is doing it. It's very easy. It's not expensive.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And you go to momenthouse.com slash Juicy Scoop or heathermcdolland.net.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You can find it there too. And now I did
- 20:59Speaker 1: a really great, fun, juicy interview. with two girls that
- 21:03Speaker 1: really started the whole podcast game over eight years ago.
- 21:08Speaker 1: And you probably have heard of this amazing podcast. I've
- 21:10Speaker 1: got the girls from Guys We Fucked. The car is beautiful.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Where did you end up going for it?
- 21:17Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 21:20Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 21:23Speaker 1: You have to put me in touch.
- 21:24Speaker 6: What's it called?
- 21:25Speaker 2: It's Dune ADL.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Where?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Dune ADL.
- 21:30Speaker 4: There's an accent on the E.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Do you mean.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yes, I got it on Done Deal Cars.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Lyft, please. You're going past Kimmage. Oh, Kimmage.
- 21:39Speaker 6: No.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Done Deal Cars.
- 21:41Speaker 1: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 21:44Speaker 6: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 21:47Speaker 6: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 21:50Speaker 6: have faced tremendous setbacks. And yet somehow have found a
- 21:55Speaker 6: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 22:03Speaker 1: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 22:05Speaker 1: be taken from you, what would you.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Do if it was given back?
- 22:08Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 22:11Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved? He said,
- 22:14Speaker 6: I have a work dad. I need a home dad.
- 22:16Speaker 1: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 22:21Speaker 6: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 22:24Speaker 6: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 22:27Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 22:33Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 22:36Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Hello, and if you want even more Juicy Scoop, I'm
- 22:55Speaker 1: talking the serious, super juicy scoop, you've got to join

- 23:18Speaker 1: inner thoughts. Everyone that has joined has loved it. Hello
- 23:23Speaker 1: and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I am with the hosts
- 23:27Speaker 1: of Guys We Fucked. Yes, it's going to be a
- 23:30Speaker 1: pretty juicy episode we have going on. A famous podcast
- 23:33Speaker 1: that's been around forever. The hosts are Corinne Fisher and
- 23:36Speaker 1: Christina Hutchinson.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Heather. Thanks for having us. That's
- 23:40Speaker 4: a beautiful introduction.
- 23:41Speaker 1: You came to see me a couple years ago. You
- 23:44Speaker 1: guys live in New York still, right?
- 23:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And yeah, let's talk about your show. You guys have
- 23:51Speaker 1: done a lot. You've been doing this a while and
- 23:54Speaker 1: have been partners this whole time.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Great title of a podcast.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Guys, in fact, I remember the first time I heard
- 24:01Speaker 1: about it, I was like, like, what? How has it evolved?
- 24:06Speaker 1: And how many years has it been going on? Because
- 24:08Speaker 1: you're like me. I'm on six and a half years,
- 24:12Speaker 1: but I know you're longer than I am. Are you?
- 24:13Speaker 6: Eight.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yes. And now it's like, Everyone has a podcast.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Yes.
- 24:19Speaker 1: And, you know, sometimes I try to tell myself, girl,
- 24:24Speaker 1: it's okay, you know, but sometimes it can be a
- 24:27Speaker 1: little like, wow, really?
- 24:29Speaker 4: Don't beat the art form to death.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 4: You're always charting high, though. Yeah, you are.
- 24:34Speaker 5: It's a real testament to how good this show is
- 24:36Speaker 5: and how much people love it. You're always at the top.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Of the charts.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Now, speaking of intellectual property and all that stuff, Around
- 24:44Speaker 1: that time or maybe after you, the Caller Daddy girls
- 24:48Speaker 1: were together and they were a partner. When they broke
- 24:52Speaker 1: up in that juicy barstool story, what were your thoughts then?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Did you know them? Because it was sort of a
- 25:00Speaker 1: similar story. You know, a show of two female hosts,
- 25:03Speaker 1: very sexual content.
- 25:05Speaker 4: We actually have a juicy... I said you don't say. Heather,
- 25:08Speaker 4: we actually have a juicy inside scoop about Call Her Daddy.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And Barstool Sports.
- 25:11Speaker 4: We do have an inside scoop, yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 25:14Speaker 5: I mean, the inside scoop is that this show is
- 25:15Speaker 5: based off of our show and Barstool literally put out
- 25:18Speaker 5: a casting call saying we're looking to do our version
- 25:20Speaker 5: of Guys We Fucked. Yeah.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So we saw the casting call.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Because it came several... It came a long time after
- 25:25Speaker 4: Guys We Fucked.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Like a.
- 25:26Speaker 4: It wasn't like a formal casting call.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I am getting a rash just thinking about.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 4: It was like a memo of them, like an internal
- 25:33Speaker 4: thing of them looking for it.
- 25:33Speaker 1: But wait, how did, did you see it after the
- 25:35Speaker 1: fact or did you see it while it was happening?
- 25:37Speaker 4: We were alerted by listeners of the podcast.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Like people, I've since tried to find the actual like
- 25:42Speaker 5: ad because like, you know, you can find old ads.
- 25:44Speaker 5: You can find the ad that they put out to,
- 25:46Speaker 5: you know, cast the Spice Girls. But I was like,
- 25:49Speaker 5: I couldn't get this one. But, I mean, all the
- 25:50Speaker 5: signs are there. We know multiple people DM'd us and
- 25:53Speaker 5: told us about that. I mean, it's obvious in the show,
- 25:56Speaker 5: even in the trajectory of the show. I mean, the
- 25:58Speaker 5: big different thing is that Sophia ended up leaving. Right.
- 26:02Speaker 5: But I don't think that was planned. I mean, based
- 26:05Speaker 5: on what I know from behind the scenes.
- 26:07Speaker 1: No, I mean, I studied that whole thing. I mean,
- 26:09Speaker 1: I heard both sides of the story, and I interviewed Sophia,
- 26:12Speaker 1: and I understood it all. Yeah, it made sense. Yeah. Yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 1: one of them got $ 60 million, but on the other hand,
- 26:19Speaker 1: Sophia's still doing great.
- 26:21Speaker 4: She is.
- 26:21Speaker 1: And it's probably better that they went their own ways.
- 26:25Speaker 1: But wait a minute about them copying your thing. I mean, like...
- 26:31Speaker 1: It's a good idea, though. How? But how frustrating?
- 26:33Speaker 2: But basically what they did was, they said, we want
- 26:36Speaker 2: our guys to fuck, but with hotter chicks.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 26:39Speaker 4: So we need younger, hotter women. And that's exactly what
- 26:41Speaker 4: they did.
- 26:41Speaker 2: And something a little.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Less feminist so that it's better for the male gaze
- 26:46Speaker 5: because that is what Barstool is about. There's a reason
- 26:48Speaker 5: why Barstool is a multi-million dollar company.
- 26:52Speaker 4: They know what they're doing. They're smart.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Wow.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Erica Nardini follows us on Instagram but has never talked
- 26:59Speaker 5: to us.
- 26:59Speaker 4: She's a CEO.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Why is that? She's a CEO.
- 27:00Speaker 4: It's almost like she's watching us. And I love Erica Nardini.
- 27:03Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not even mad. I mean, I'm mad
- 27:06Speaker 4: about it in.
- 27:06Speaker 5: Theory because it's our baby and I feel like it
- 27:10Speaker 5: was bastardized.
- 27:11Speaker 4: In a way.
- 27:12Speaker 5: And like, it's like, I do feel like that show
- 27:14Speaker 5: gives women bad advice, but I can't control all the
- 27:17Speaker 5: advice that women get. So it's frustrating to create something
- 27:20Speaker 5: and then have the thing that's copying you become larger
- 27:23Speaker 5: than your thing.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Like, that's a tough pill to swallow.
- 27:26Speaker 1: That is.
- 27:26Speaker 5: But I can't be mad at Barstool because they're a
- 27:28Speaker 5: business and man, did they make that business work.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Well, I mean, Skims is Spanx.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Of course. And there were 12 other things between Spanx
- 27:36Speaker 1: and Skims.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Of course.
- 27:37Speaker 1: And it's like, I know that too, you know, even
- 27:39Speaker 1: with now Juicy Scoop is trademarked. But the amount of
- 27:42Speaker 1: times that I'm seeing people say, and we're going to
- 27:45Speaker 1: give you the scoop and let's get the, or they'll even,
- 27:48Speaker 1: they'll say Juicy Scoop. You can say it, you know,
- 27:50Speaker 1: but like, you just can't call a show Juicy Scoop.
- 27:52Speaker 1: And the similar types of shows and stuff. That's, that's
- 27:56Speaker 1: okay though. I didn't, I didn't invent podcasting. I didn't
- 27:59Speaker 1: invent doing hot topics. But yeah, I mean, so far,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you know, no, that hasn't been the blatant thing. That
- 28:08Speaker 1: would be, that would be extremely hard. That would be
- 28:13Speaker 1: extremely hard.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Hey, at least, I mean, that's, and that you can't
- 28:17Speaker 2: take away from us.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You did.
- 28:18Speaker 4: You definitely did.
- 28:19Speaker 2: The thing that frustrates me is like, I'll listen to
- 28:20Speaker 2: some of these copies because there's a lot of, there's
- 28:22Speaker 2: a lot of specifically two females hosting a comedy sex
- 28:25Speaker 2: podcast of their interviewing guys they fucked or guys that
- 28:28Speaker 2: they date or guys that won't date them or whatever
- 28:30Speaker 2: the fuck.
- 28:31Speaker 5: And I haven't listened to all of them. And it's
- 28:32Speaker 5: such a good idea that all of them do well.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Well, it is.
- 28:35Speaker 4: What a testament.
- 28:36Speaker 2: There's a couple things there. One, it's like, this is
- 28:38Speaker 2: a conversation that needs to be had, so everyone should
- 28:40Speaker 2: be having it. So that I really like, because then
- 28:42Speaker 2: we're all talking about things.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Finally, we're fucking talking about shit.
- 28:46Speaker 2: But when I listen to, like, I've listened to Call
- 28:47Speaker 2: Her Daddy, and I'm like, this isn't good.
- 28:52Speaker 4: I don't think it's good.
- 28:53Speaker 2: It's not fucking entertaining.
- 28:55Speaker 4: And I'm like, is that? But I'm like, okay, am
- 28:58Speaker 4: I not? What am I missing? I've got to be
- 29:00Speaker 4: missing something. I know I am.
- 29:02Speaker 1: People love it.
- 29:03Speaker 4: People love the show.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Well, I just listened to her interview with the Anna Delvey.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Oh, she gets really good interviews.
- 29:10Speaker 1: She gets really good.
- 29:11Speaker 4: And she's like a business bitch. She's like a bad bitch, Alex.
- 29:13Speaker 1: She should. For $ 60 million, she should bring in some
- 29:16Speaker 1: good interviews.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I know she cares about her
- 29:18Speaker 4: product being good.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And some hot people.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:20Speaker 1: The girl, Anna, is a horrific human being.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Sounds like it.
- 29:25Speaker 1: And we were watching the video, too, and I was
- 29:29Speaker 1: saying to Annie, I go, you know, this is really
- 29:31Speaker 1: good for Alex. This is like making her more real
- 29:34Speaker 1: and likable. I prefer something like this where she's trying
- 29:37Speaker 1: to call the girl in jail and like just every
- 29:39Speaker 1: five minutes, just a recall. And she, she tried to
- 29:43Speaker 1: get the scoop. This chick is just a horrible person.
- 29:45Speaker 4: She's like a narcissist.
- 29:46Speaker 1: She doesn't think she's done anything wrong. But when I've
- 29:50Speaker 1: listened to just Epps, like her solo episodes, which were
- 29:54Speaker 1: just like, hello, tiny gang, open your mouth and suck
- 29:57Speaker 1: it hard. I'm like, I'm like.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Sometimes I think that's really funny.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I guess you gotta be in the mood for it.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 4: She's beautiful. She's entertaining. She obviously has tapped into something.
- 30:08Speaker 4: It's like, okay.
- 30:09Speaker 1: But I think going that route of like, you know,
- 30:12Speaker 1: getting these kind of, you know, that's going to be
- 30:15Speaker 1: the smarter route to go in the long run of
- 30:18Speaker 1: life because it's like, you know, but.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Um, yeah, it's, it's, To me, with competition, like competition
- 30:25Speaker 2: and quotes, I like it because it keeps me on
- 30:27Speaker 2: my toes. It inspires me to be better. That's why
- 30:30Speaker 2: when I listen to a show that's like a copycat
- 30:32Speaker 2: type of show, I want it to be better.
- 30:33Speaker 4: If it's not, I'm like, what the.
- 30:35Speaker 2: You're wasting everyone's time.
- 30:36Speaker 1: No, I mean, that's why when I fell on my head,
- 30:38Speaker 1: I came in here on... What did we do? Tuesday morning,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I recorded a show. And I was freaking out that
- 30:44Speaker 1: it was going to be released at noon and not,
- 30:47Speaker 1: you know, midnight the night before.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Because I was like... A, I don't want people to
- 30:51Speaker 1: think that I'm out of the game because I'm, like,
- 30:54Speaker 1: handicapped now or something. And I also don't want to,
- 30:57Speaker 1: you know, I want people, you know, like, I was like, well,
- 30:59Speaker 1: let me tell you the scoop first. Yeah. But, yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 1: it's definitely the consistency is what people always say that
- 31:07Speaker 1: they really admire because they'll start, they like these other
- 31:10Speaker 1: new shows and stuff, but the people... it's not their
- 31:13Speaker 1: main job. So they get an acting job or they
- 31:16Speaker 1: go on a trip or they just like go on
- 31:18Speaker 1: maternity leave or whatever it is. And it's, I've, I
- 31:22Speaker 1: remember I learned that from like a YouTuber, like the
- 31:25Speaker 1: most consistent thing to do is like, if they think
- 31:27Speaker 1: they're getting a video on Tuesday, you better fricking deliver
- 31:30Speaker 1: that thing on Tuesday. And so that's been a big thing,
- 31:34Speaker 1: but like, no, it's funny because how you said how
- 31:37Speaker 1: obviously they're listening to you and the CEO listens to
- 31:39Speaker 1: you and everything. I'm like, Oh, I mean, I should
- 31:43Speaker 1: be flattered and I say that.
- 31:45Speaker 4: It is flattering.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I do rate well. But there's so many times where
- 31:48Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, isn't that interesting that now they're writing
- 31:51Speaker 1: about this subject when no one was writing about this
- 31:54Speaker 1: subject before. I don't necessarily break stories, but I sometimes
- 31:59Speaker 1: am the first person to talk about something that's happening.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But they won't say, I heard this on Juicy Scoop.
- 32:07Speaker 1: They'll just do the research themselves and then make it
- 32:10Speaker 1: their own thing. But that's the thing about today. We
- 32:12Speaker 1: put it out there, and you're only going to be
- 32:15Speaker 1: successful if you put it out there. If you hoard
- 32:17Speaker 1: your thing, there's no way. It's interesting, though, because.
- 32:21Speaker 5: What you just said about breaking news, because even the
- 32:24Speaker 5: New York Times, if a written news source, if another
- 32:28Speaker 5: written news source breaks it, they will credit in the article.
- 32:31Speaker 5: They'll say, this story was originally broken by Associated.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Press or whatever it is. And I'm like, that's so
- 32:38Speaker 4: nice because what did it take? It took a little second.
- 32:40Speaker 5: I'm still on the other place reading the story. So
- 32:43Speaker 5: it's not taking away business. But it's like everyone just
- 32:45Speaker 5: leaves feeling better. People like credit for the things they do.
- 32:49Speaker 5: And sometimes people are like, well, you're not feminist because
- 32:52Speaker 5: don't you want all women to be doing well? And
- 32:54Speaker 5: I was like, I want to be very clear that no,
- 32:56Speaker 5: I do not want women to be doing well with
- 32:58Speaker 5: my idea. That's like saying like, oh, would I want
- 33:00Speaker 5: someone to go on tour with my jokes from my set?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Uh no i would not i think people don't understand
- 33:05Speaker 2: when you're a stand-up comedian all you have are your
- 33:08Speaker 2: ideas your ideas are it they're they're more than your
- 33:11Speaker 2: face they're more than your outfit they're more than your
- 33:12Speaker 2: career goals your ideas are it and so that's why
- 33:15Speaker 2: it can get like like when they keep making like
- 33:18Speaker 2: home alone five six seven eight nine i'm like how
- 33:20Speaker 2: about you make a new plot with new family and
- 33:23Speaker 2: stop making home alone yeah you know you're out together
- 33:25Speaker 2: classic don't ruin.
- 33:26Speaker 5: It um.
- 33:28Speaker 1: So in speaking of that, like in all your years together,
- 33:31Speaker 1: has there ever been, because I think there are a
- 33:33Speaker 1: lot of women that get together, men too, a lot
- 33:36Speaker 1: of partnerships, especially in the podcast world. And a lot
- 33:40Speaker 1: of partnerships break up.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Money.
- 33:43Speaker 1: One feels that they've done more than the other.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 1: One feels that they have a higher platform than the
- 33:48Speaker 1: other and they're bringing the other or they're booking all
- 33:50Speaker 1: the guests or whatever.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 1: How have you guys avoided that or have you ever
- 33:56Speaker 1: like stepped in there and been like, wait a minute,
- 33:58Speaker 1: you know, or. Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Certainly we we put our relationship on a on a
- 34:04Speaker 2: we we we deliberately respect our working and relationship and
- 34:07Speaker 2: our friendship. And I think I was in a 70
- 34:11Speaker 2: relationship once. That's the longest relationship I've ever had. But
- 34:13Speaker 2: the longest relationship I've really ever had is with Corinne.
- 34:15Speaker 2: We really make a concerted effort to be respectful and
- 34:18Speaker 2: to set boundaries, more so she, and then I followed
- 34:20Speaker 2: suit because I was like, what's the boundaries?
- 34:21Speaker 4: Does that mean you hate me?
- 34:22Speaker 2: So I was a lot of learning and growing because
- 34:24Speaker 2: we started working together when I was 23. But I'm
- 34:27Speaker 2: very scatterbrained and I get very overwhelmed easily and I'll
- 34:30Speaker 2: go through these bouts of mental health problems. And then
- 34:34Speaker 2: Corinne steps in and she's mentally healthy.
- 34:38Speaker 4: It is good for a.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Mental breakdown that you can switch back and forth. That
- 34:42Speaker 5: is important. And also, but even like walking into the
- 34:46Speaker 5: building today, we were like, Christina, I don't know how
- 34:49Speaker 5: to drive anymore. I have a license, but it would
- 34:50Speaker 5: be dangerous for myself and others if I got.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Behind a wheel. Because in New York, you rarely drive.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I moved to New York when I was 17
- 34:55Speaker 4: years old. Like, I don't remember how. And so I
- 34:59Speaker 4: was like, you're the driver. I'm the office manager. So
- 35:03Speaker 4: she's driving.
- 35:03Speaker 2: She's on the emails.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I'm driving.
- 35:04Speaker 5: I'm replying to emails about press, making sure we're everywhere
- 35:07Speaker 5: on time. I need a schedule for our trip here.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Like, that's just.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I also used to be an assistant at a talent
- 35:12Speaker 5: management company.
- 35:13Speaker 4: So like I, that's the stuff I'm good at. I
- 35:15Speaker 4: was an assistant and I was very bad at it.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:17Speaker 5: I was too good to the point where like no
- 35:20Speaker 5: one wanted me to succeed in entertainment because they just
- 35:23Speaker 5: wanted me to be their assistant for the rest of
- 35:25Speaker 5: my life. So I do think like my advice to
- 35:27Speaker 5: artists is be bad at your nine to five.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Be so bad at it that the only choice you
- 35:32Speaker 4: have is art.
- 35:33Speaker 1: It was interesting because I've talked about that too. Like, With,
- 35:37Speaker 1: you know, with the big companies, like people that want to,
- 35:40Speaker 1: you know, oh, I'm going to work for the Kardashians
- 35:42Speaker 1: and one day I'll be able to be heading up
- 35:44Speaker 1: the Skims design or whatever. Yeah. And maybe that is
- 35:47Speaker 1: the case or wherever those places. But also know that, like, yeah,
- 35:50Speaker 1: if you're that really good assistant and you're the first
- 35:53Speaker 1: person that has... Brought the coffee on time and everything.
- 35:56Speaker 1: That is so great. But you could also be so
- 35:58Speaker 1: good that you don't get promoted.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Yes.
- 36:00Speaker 1: That is so true.
- 36:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:02Speaker 5: It's better, honestly, I think it's better to just have
- 36:03Speaker 5: a great personality and be, like, lovably bad at your job.
- 36:07Speaker 5: And then people will be like, man, I really like
- 36:09Speaker 5: you around, but you're so bad at this. Can I
- 36:10Speaker 5: refer to you, like, to something that you would rather
- 36:12Speaker 5: be doing?
- 36:13Speaker 4: Like, that's the lane. That was my MO. That's the lane.
- 36:16Speaker 4: It's called working for a temp agency.
- 36:17Speaker 5: I was so mad at myself for being such a
- 36:20Speaker 5: good assistant because there's no growth in that.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 36:24Speaker 4: There's no growth.
- 36:25Speaker 1: That's so funny. I remember my dad had like an
- 36:28Speaker 1: assistant and like she was being moved from office to
- 36:30Speaker 1: office and they're like, it's your turn to have her,
- 36:32Speaker 1: you know?
- 36:34Speaker 4: Passing her around.
- 36:36Speaker 1: And she, one day she was like decorated his office
- 36:38Speaker 1: and was like doing all this, you know, and he
- 36:40Speaker 1: was like, so then he went to the partners and
- 36:42Speaker 1: he was like, let's send her to decorating school. We
- 36:44Speaker 1: don't have to fire her, but she could. And she
- 36:46Speaker 1: became this, like, successful interior designer.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Oh, that's really sweet.
- 36:50Speaker 1: But, like, that's kind of the same thing. Like, we
- 36:52Speaker 1: all love you, but, like, you can't type or whatever
- 36:55Speaker 1: the case was back in the day.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Not doing the job that we're paying you to do.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. What could we do? Yeah. Yes. Okay, so
- 37:03Speaker 1: you started doing it. Now, I remember there were lots
- 37:06Speaker 1: of other things that came about. Were you supposed to have?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Different deals and TV shows and stuff.
- 37:13Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. So since the podcast, since its success, it
- 37:16Speaker 4: was pretty successful, like, pretty quickly.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:19Speaker 2: There's so many, like, reality show deal, like, all these TV.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I feel like Corinne and I have probably worked with,
- 37:24Speaker 2: you know, we've had, like, 10 various opportunities with television
- 37:26Speaker 2: that were, like, pretty real opportunities.
- 37:28Speaker 4: And a book.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:29Speaker 2: And a book, yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You did have a book come out.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Yeah, with HarperCollins.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:33Speaker 4: That was in 2017.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and we've done several iterations of our touring show. Yeah.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 4: But now we finally.
- 37:39Speaker 5: So we had failed TV shows with.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Well, just name networks. Who cares? Lifetime, True TV. And
- 37:46Speaker 4: now we finally.
- 37:46Speaker 5: It was just announced in Deadline that we have a
- 37:48Speaker 5: show we're developing with Fox.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Oh, awesome. Can you share about that?
- 37:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean.
- 37:53Speaker 2: It's a sitcom with Fox and Lionsgate.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Tannenbaum Company at Lionsgate.
- 37:59Speaker 5: It's the origin story of Guys We Fucked, but outside
- 38:02Speaker 5: of the entertainment business. So it's like if us, our
- 38:06Speaker 5: same personalities... existed in a world outside of the entertainment
- 38:09Speaker 5: business yeah.
- 38:10Speaker 1: They never want you to be that was our idea
- 38:13Speaker 1: actually yeah i'm sick of seeing shows about comedians okay
- 38:17Speaker 1: well honestly that was smart because in my day of
- 38:22Speaker 1: when i would pitch and sell shows that were about
- 38:25Speaker 1: my life i'd sell one when i was 30 and
- 38:28Speaker 1: then one when i was like 40 i guess um
- 38:33Speaker 1: both about my life and both times I was a comedian. Right.
- 38:37Speaker 1: The one was working with my parents doing real estate
- 38:39Speaker 1: as a comedian and actress and the other one was
- 38:42Speaker 1: being a comedian actress but a mom, okay, with kids.
- 38:46Speaker 1: They were like, we cannot have you be a comedian.
- 38:49Speaker 1: So it's interesting that you think there's a lot of
- 38:51Speaker 1: shows about comedians because that was always the thing that like,
- 38:54Speaker 1: they never wanted to see that. It was always like,
- 38:56Speaker 1: could you be a newscaster in Denver instead?
- 38:59Speaker 6: Right.
- 39:00Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, but then the stakes aren't where
- 39:02Speaker 1: the stakes are. Like, it's like a unique, weird thing.
- 39:07Speaker 2: And, um, and you need to be invested in the world.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 1: But whatever this, I was always like, sure, whatever. We'll
- 39:12Speaker 1: write the thing. It won't go anywhere. And then, you know.
- 39:15Speaker 4: That's the spirit. There you go.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Get that Emmy girl. I know.
- 39:22Speaker 4: I know.
- 39:23Speaker 1: That's not exactly working the secret.
- 39:26Speaker 4: It's like, That's on your vision board.
- 39:28Speaker 2: It's like, I don't know what you mean, though, because
- 39:29Speaker 2: sometimes you're working with... We've had deals where we're working
- 39:32Speaker 2: with people.
- 39:32Speaker 4: We're like, you don't like us, and this isn't going
- 39:34Speaker 4: to go. Yeah, I've been typing on a computer being like,
- 39:37Speaker 4: this isn't going. I should just email this to my
- 39:39Speaker 4: mother because no one likes this.
- 39:41Speaker 1: And I remember doing a reality show type of thing
- 39:44Speaker 1: with my family, and it was the last day of
- 39:47Speaker 1: shooting with the production company, you know? And I go, okay, well,
- 39:51Speaker 1: we'll either be really successful or we're never going to
- 39:53Speaker 1: speak again. This might be the last. Or when you
- 39:56Speaker 1: go to those pitch meetings and it's the last one,
- 39:58Speaker 1: but you still haven't gotten all the rejections yet, and
- 40:00Speaker 1: you're like, Is this it?
- 40:02Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Do I think of something else yet or should I
- 40:05Speaker 4: keep on this and hoping it's going to work?
- 40:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. So that is so– okay, so that's cool.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:10Speaker 1: So it's– okay, well, I think that that's probably smart. Yeah,
- 40:14Speaker 1: and it's– I think too– The longevity of it too
- 40:16Speaker 1: will help if it's not entertainment related.
- 40:19Speaker 5: It's more healing to just be able to step outside
- 40:21Speaker 5: this world that we're constantly in. I'm excited to write
- 40:25Speaker 5: more about, like, who would Corinne and Christina.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Be if we weren't comedians?
- 40:30Speaker 5: Because, you know, I think every artist has that vision
- 40:33Speaker 5: or the dream, the secret fantasy of, like, for mine,
- 40:35Speaker 5: it's owning a florist shop somewhere in the Midwest. That's
- 40:39Speaker 5: my secret runaway dream. And I think most people have, like, a.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Secret runaway dream.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Yours is basically a Hallmark movie.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Just when I'm like, arranged flowers have no skill set
- 40:48Speaker 5: around florist or floristing.
- 40:50Speaker 4: I don't even know what you would call it.
- 40:51Speaker 1: You don't even know.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Floristry? Yes, floristry.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you're wearing like a floral, like an outfit that
- 40:58Speaker 1: a florist would have.
- 40:58Speaker 4: I love it. Oh, I love dressing like a middle
- 41:02Speaker 4: school art teacher.
- 41:03Speaker 2: That's the look.
- 41:04Speaker 4: With titties out, baby.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Well, when you have small tits, they can basically, as
- 41:08Speaker 5: long as the areola is covered, they can pretty much
- 41:11Speaker 5: be out all the time.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Let them breathe.
- 41:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And what is your weird career that you wouldn't have?
- 41:18Speaker 4: An EMT because I'm super good at emergency situations.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 41:23Speaker 4: Yeah. Blood doesn't scare me.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I like saving people.
- 41:28Speaker 1: That's my worst job. Also, I have no strength.
- 41:31Speaker 2: You would not be an EMT, I feel.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I would be the worst.
- 41:34Speaker 2: If I was on the sidewalk with a bleeding out
- 41:37Speaker 2: and you came up to me with the gurney, I'd
- 41:40Speaker 2: be like, uh-oh.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Honestly, we're in trouble.
- 41:43Speaker 1: I would be so bad in any kind– first of all,
- 41:46Speaker 1: in any era other than today. Like technically, like how
- 41:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't know how to do stuff. Like sometimes I
- 41:57Speaker 1: just am like, God.
- 41:58Speaker 4: I'm thinking of you churning butter now with a little
- 42:00Speaker 4: bonnet on.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Just give me non-digital tools. You know what I think about?
- 42:04Speaker 1: There was a show that they came to me. It
- 42:07Speaker 1: didn't go anywhere. And it was going to be on Bravo.
- 42:10Speaker 1: They were buying it from like Australia or something. And
- 42:13Speaker 1: it was taking people and their families to this cul-de-sac
- 42:17Speaker 1: and the houses were all going to be from the 60s,
- 42:20Speaker 1: like the mid 60s. And it was like maybe four
- 42:23Speaker 1: years ago that they approached me for it. And I
- 42:26Speaker 1: was so sick of doing Juicy Scoop. Like I was
- 42:29Speaker 1: so sick. burnt out on how hard I was working
- 42:33Speaker 1: and how it wasn't like gelling really yet yeah and
- 42:36Speaker 1: they were like so you would be the mother and
- 42:39Speaker 1: like you there'd be no technology and for the summer
- 42:42Speaker 1: you would just and I'm like oh my god I
- 42:44Speaker 1: could just like live like my mom like I would
- 42:46Speaker 1: just make tuna casserole and like no and like yeah
- 42:51Speaker 1: and then so I was completely down for it my
- 42:54Speaker 1: husband was like what? What is this weird thing? And
- 42:57Speaker 1: I was like, and I asked my kids and they're like, okay,
- 42:59Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, we can watch TV, but like,
- 43:01Speaker 1: we won't be able to do anything else. And like,
- 43:04Speaker 1: it's like this weird experiment. Anyway, it never happened, but
- 43:08Speaker 1: I still, I think I could do, I think I
- 43:10Speaker 1: could do the 1960s. Like I could, like cook or
- 43:13Speaker 1: whatever and all of that.
- 43:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 1: But not older than that. Like I couldn't do like
- 43:19Speaker 1: the four, I couldn't do like when there weren't refrigerators
- 43:21Speaker 1: and it was like ice boxes. I couldn't go that
- 43:23Speaker 1: far back.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Couldn't do Amish.
- 43:24Speaker 1: But I could get, yeah.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Could you make it through prohibition?
- 43:29Speaker 1: Well, those people, you could still drink, right? It's like
- 43:32Speaker 1: where the parties were.
- 43:33Speaker 4: You would definitely know the spots.
- 43:35Speaker 1: I would know the spots.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you would get the juicy scoop on who's.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Got the booze.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I would know the spots.
- 43:39Speaker 2: You should do a juicy scoop if it was around
- 43:42Speaker 2: in the 1920s and you were ratting everybody out for
- 43:44Speaker 2: probation or something.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Yes.
- 43:46Speaker 4: You'd know all the mafia guys to call. Heather in
- 43:48Speaker 4: all the decades.
- 43:50Speaker 1: That is funny, yes.
- 43:52Speaker 4: You're on the Mayflower.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Get the scoop. So I love that. So you guys
- 43:57Speaker 1: have out all these things. Well, I hope that goes.
- 44:00Speaker 1: And then if it went and you're running a show,
- 44:03Speaker 1: now would you be acting in it? We're us.
- 44:05Speaker 2: We're starring in it.
- 44:06Speaker 4: It's a real stretch.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Will you still be able to do your podcast once
- 44:10Speaker 1: a week? That's a good question.
- 44:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:12Speaker 4: Well, we'll see. But I mean, yeah.
- 44:14Speaker 5: I mean, I think we're always committed to it. Whether
- 44:15Speaker 5: or not we're doing it weekly or putting a bunch
- 44:16Speaker 5: of episodes in the can.
- 44:17Speaker 4: I think it's different.
- 44:18Speaker 2: A lot has happened in the last eight years, and
- 44:20Speaker 2: we've never missed one week in eight years.
- 44:22Speaker 4: Never an episode.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Never an episode. We've had some crises. That's my brag.
- 44:26Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 44:26Speaker 2: We've had some crises. We've had.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Trips we've had.
- 44:29Speaker 1: That's pretty great.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:32Speaker 4: So, okay.
- 44:33Speaker 1: So you said you just did a special. Yes. So describe.
- 44:37Speaker 4: We self-produced it.
- 44:39Speaker 2: We put our money where our mouth is and we
- 44:40Speaker 2: reinvested in our art and we, yeah, we got, we
- 44:43Speaker 2: made our own comedy special. We hired a production company
- 44:45Speaker 2: and we shot it in Salem, Massachusetts. Corinne directed it.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Why did you choose there?
- 44:50Speaker 2: Because that's, you know.
- 44:51Speaker 4: It's a powerful place for women.
- 44:53Speaker 1: For witches?
- 44:54Speaker 5: Yes. Well, yeah, and we also, yeah, we have, like,
- 44:56Speaker 5: we're definitely the witchy energy podcast of the sex comedy podcast.
- 45:00Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 4: I'm talking to ghosts. We're the hot topic. I'm getting
- 45:01Speaker 4: mediums to talk to my dead relatives. She loves the paranormal.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Okay, cool.
- 45:06Speaker 4: We're reading tarot.
- 45:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 4: We're, like, the little weirdos.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Smudging everything.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Got it.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I just felt like a place, and I actually, when
- 45:14Speaker 5: I thought of it, I was like, I can't believe
- 45:15Speaker 5: no one's done a special in Salem before. And, you know,
- 45:18Speaker 5: because people say, oh, why didn't you just do it
- 45:20Speaker 5: in New York? It's like, number one, we're always in
- 45:21Speaker 5: New York.
- 45:21Speaker 4: It's not special.
- 45:22Speaker 5: I mean, it's special to us because it's our home,
- 45:24Speaker 5: but it's not special to us as far as, like, performing.
- 45:27Speaker 4: It would have been just like any other night.
- 45:29Speaker 5: And I think a special should take place in a
- 45:32Speaker 5: city or a town that means something.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:35Speaker 4: Like, I don't know.
- 45:37Speaker 2: We're both on the fence with marriage.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Like, I'm not against marriage, but, like, I'm single, so
- 45:41Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 45:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:42Speaker 2: But it's nice to be able to plan an event
- 45:45Speaker 2: for yourself to pay for something.
- 45:46Speaker 4: And I love that it wasn't a wedding. It was
- 45:48Speaker 4: our fucking comedy special.
- 45:49Speaker 2: It was really important to me because I'm like, this
- 45:51Speaker 2: will never let me down. Like, this is like golden
- 45:54Speaker 2: and solid.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:55Speaker 2: So it felt good to like, because when people get married.
- 45:58Speaker 4: They spend a shitload of money. And it was nice
- 46:01Speaker 4: to spend that money on our art.
- 46:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 5: And even like a lot of strong women still that
- 46:05Speaker 5: we know come and talk about like how they're so
- 46:08Speaker 5: sad that they're not married or like it still seems
- 46:10Speaker 5: like Out of all they've achieved, that's still the thing
- 46:13Speaker 5: that really weighs heavy on them, that they didn't get
- 46:15Speaker 5: that to happen or that that's still the most important
- 46:17Speaker 5: thing or so much of their value is in that.
- 46:20Speaker 4: And, yeah, I just don't feel that way.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I think what it is is that because it was
- 46:27Speaker 1: so ingrained in women, you know, between the ages of, like,
- 46:31Speaker 1: 35 and up is– You know, as a little girl,
- 46:35Speaker 1: it was always, you know, people talked about it. I
- 46:37Speaker 1: think now, with younger women and certainly children that are
- 46:40Speaker 1: being born today, I don't think, at least on some cities,
- 46:46Speaker 1: I don't think it's going to be this kind of thing.
- 46:49Speaker 2: It's pressure.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Where you feel like it's so necessary, you know, or
- 46:54Speaker 1: like such a big part of your life, you know.
- 46:56Speaker 4: And it's interesting to read about.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Christina gave me the book, All the Single Ladies, and
- 47:01Speaker 5: it's just stat after stat about of how when women
- 47:04Speaker 5: started to not get married at all or just get
- 47:06Speaker 5: married even later, just wait until you're like 35. It's
- 47:10Speaker 5: a game changer for the opportunities that you will see
- 47:13Speaker 5: in your career, the amount of money you will make,
- 47:16Speaker 5: even your happiness level. It's just like the proof is there.
- 47:20Speaker 5: There's numbers to back it up.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Right, yeah. And what are your relationships like romantically?
- 47:26Speaker 2: I'm dating.
- 47:27Speaker 4: I'm seeing somebody. We've only just kissed, Denise. really handsome
- 47:31Speaker 4: and cute.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:33Speaker 5: And I have a much younger boyfriend. So yeah, yeah, that's,
- 47:37Speaker 5: I just tried something new.
- 47:39Speaker 2: You know, she's like a healthy dater. She like goes
- 47:41Speaker 2: out and I'm gonna connect with people.
- 47:42Speaker 5: And I'm like, well, once I like started thinking of
- 47:45Speaker 5: dating in a different way.
- 47:46Speaker 1: A lot of a lot of guys are going for
- 47:48Speaker 1: women that are older in all the brackets, like, right,
- 47:52Speaker 1: a 20, you know, a 24 year old guy dating
- 47:54Speaker 1: a 35 year old, I feel like, You know, 40-year-old
- 47:57Speaker 1: men are, like, dating 50-year-olds at a hot 50 or
- 48:01Speaker 1: 35 even once at a hot 48. Because, like, why not?
- 48:06Speaker 2: Women really, truly, and I'm not just saying this, I'm
- 48:09Speaker 2: learning this now, and I'm like, I can't believe this.
- 48:11Speaker 4: The world didn't know this or is not recognizing this.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Women get so much better with age, like so much
- 48:17Speaker 4: better with age.
- 48:17Speaker 2: It is wild how much better women get with age.
- 48:20Speaker 2: And I, and I, I think it's so funny the
- 48:21Speaker 2: way society like values the young woman, but it's like
- 48:24Speaker 2: young women are fascinating and amazing and great, but it's
- 48:26Speaker 2: like you, you, you know yourself, you, you know what
- 48:30Speaker 2: you will and will not negotiate on, you know, your boundaries,
- 48:32Speaker 2: you know what you want, you.
- 48:33Speaker 4: Know, I get it.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Also, I think with like a younger guy that is, um,
- 48:38Speaker 1: you know, a younger guy who's dating, okay, so let's
- 48:41Speaker 1: say a 28 year old who's dating a 28 year
- 48:44Speaker 1: old girl within two years, there's going to be that.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Are you going to get married? Kids, this or that.
- 48:50Speaker 1: If a 28 year old guy dates a 40 year
- 48:52Speaker 1: old woman, um, provide, maybe she already has her kids.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Maybe she doesn't want them, whatever. It's like this pressure
- 48:59Speaker 1: of like, she's not going to try to get knocked up.
- 49:02Speaker 1: She's not going to try to like, Get me to
- 49:04Speaker 1: take care of her. Like, we can just have our balance.
- 49:06Speaker 4: There's no motives. You can exist.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we can just have this great thing. And it's like,
- 49:10Speaker 1: it seems to be like a very successful combination. Like,
- 49:13Speaker 1: people seem to be, like, no one's trying to pull
- 49:16Speaker 1: one on each other. Like, everyone's just like, we're here
- 49:19Speaker 1: because we dig each other.
- 49:20Speaker 4: Well, exactly. There's a lot of freedom when you don't
- 49:21Speaker 4: have these goals.
- 49:22Speaker 5: Like so often the advice we'll give on the show
- 49:24Speaker 5: when someone writes in is like, They'll write in with
- 49:26Speaker 5: all these goals that they have that would need to
- 49:29Speaker 5: involve a partner, but they haven't met that partner yet.
- 49:32Speaker 5: So I go, how do you have all these plans
- 49:34Speaker 5: with a person that you don't even know exists? It's
- 49:39Speaker 5: like we're so sold that there will be 100% a
- 49:42Speaker 5: soulmate coming to us, that we create this whole world,
- 49:46Speaker 5: and that's the only thing we think of. It's like,
- 49:48Speaker 5: why not try to hit goals that only involve you?
- 49:51Speaker 5: It's just very strange to me. Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And how do you feel about different situations, like polyamorous moms? Polly.
- 50:03Speaker 4: Man, let me tell you something. That's a sore spot
- 50:06Speaker 4: for us.
- 50:06Speaker 2: A lot of people say they're poly because they're not
- 50:10Speaker 2: having sex in their current relationship. So to fix that,
- 50:13Speaker 2: they then go, let's both see other people. But it's like,
- 50:18Speaker 2: first of all, polyamory is a commitment. And it's a
- 50:20Speaker 2: lot of conversations, a lot of negotiations, a lot of things.
- 50:24Speaker 4: So it's more challenging.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Wait, there's polygamy.
- 50:28Speaker 4: Well, polygamy is definitely not even legal.
- 50:31Speaker 1: There's polygamy where you have one guy, you know, has
- 50:34Speaker 1: several girls. Then there's where a couple is like dating
- 50:37Speaker 1: a woman and she screws both of them.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Then there's we're no longer monogamous. We're together. We're free
- 50:46Speaker 1: to date other people online. But that's not like a
- 50:48Speaker 1: swinging situation. Like I go off with my numerous dates
- 50:52Speaker 1: and you go off with your numerous dates and we
- 50:54Speaker 1: talk about it or we don't talk about it. So
- 50:57Speaker 1: you're getting a lot of people asking that's becoming like
- 50:59Speaker 1: a trend or what? Yeah.
- 51:00Speaker 5: And to me, like they're using polyamory when they really
- 51:02Speaker 5: mean open relationship because polyamory is truly like a unit
- 51:06Speaker 5: where there's love everywhere. It's not just sex like. Polyamory
- 51:09Speaker 5: is very structured.
- 51:10Speaker 1: It's a very.
- 51:11Speaker 5: Specific community that is doing that. And I think people
- 51:15Speaker 5: are using it really loosely.
- 51:16Speaker 2: You have to divide your energy up in polyamory.
- 51:19Speaker 4: I think it's far more challenging than monogamy. Far more challenging.
- 51:22Speaker 5: And I think there are very, very few people on
- 51:24Speaker 5: the planet who are truly able to love multiple people
- 51:27Speaker 5: at once fully and in a healthy situation. So I
- 51:30Speaker 5: think people, number one, are writing in saying that they
- 51:33Speaker 5: are interested in polyamory when they really mean open relationship.
- 51:36Speaker 5: And when they really mean open relationship is that they
- 51:38Speaker 5: just don't have the energy to break up with the
- 51:40Speaker 5: person and they want to have their cake and eat
- 51:42Speaker 5: it too. It's too sad to them to go, well,
- 51:46Speaker 5: I can't break up with him because the sex isn't good.
- 51:48Speaker 4: Like it's more than just– it's like, well, no, you can.
- 51:50Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 51:51Speaker 4: It's not mean. You can be honest. It's all right.
- 51:53Speaker 2: It might hurt the person's feelings and it might hurt
- 51:56Speaker 2: your feelings.
- 51:56Speaker 1: But like– Well, also if it's just a– there's one
- 51:59Speaker 1: thing to break up with somebody and you've been dating
- 52:02Speaker 1: a few years and you have your apartment and he
- 52:04Speaker 1: has his– And you have your own money and he
- 52:07Speaker 1: has his and you don't even share a pet. Right.
- 52:09Speaker 1: That's just clean. Yeah. Then there's other where you are
- 52:14Speaker 1: married or you have children together or you even have
- 52:17Speaker 1: property together or even living together.
- 52:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:19Speaker 1: It's like, oh, do I really want to move? The
- 52:22Speaker 1: rents are so high. Where am I going to go?
- 52:24Speaker 1: I like my place.
- 52:26Speaker 4: It's a pain in the butt.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Yeah. And I don't hate this person. Right.
- 52:30Speaker 4: And a lot of people stay because they don't hate
- 52:31Speaker 4: the person.
- 52:31Speaker 1: But I would like to feel some passion.
- 52:34Speaker 5: Right.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Like, you know, Kim and Pete.
- 52:36Speaker 4: Yeah, because we're not super like, heal me in the shower, please.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 5: We're not super pro-monogamy. I just think that we wish
- 52:43Speaker 5: people would think about it. in a different way other
- 52:48Speaker 5: than just like.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Me want to fuck other person.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Dan Savage is like one of the best people
- 52:54Speaker 2: on this planet giving advice about sex, dating, and relationships.
- 52:57Speaker 4: He is truly like the godfather of sex advice. And
- 52:59Speaker 4: we love him very much. I listen to his podcast
- 53:01Speaker 4: all the time.
- 53:02Speaker 2: And I regurgitate a lot of his advice that he
- 53:04Speaker 2: gives because it's very thought out, very, and he's a
- 53:06Speaker 2: beautiful writer. And he says, he calls it poly under duress,
- 53:10Speaker 2: where one person is like suggesting it for their own reasons,
- 53:14Speaker 2: whether they're valid or not, doesn't matter. And the other
- 53:16Speaker 2: person doesn't want to lose them, so they say yes.
- 53:18Speaker 2: And so now they're in a poly and they're like, nah.
- 53:20Speaker 2: And then sometimes that person that's in poly under duress
- 53:22Speaker 2: falls in love with somebody and the other person was like,
- 53:25Speaker 2: didn't want to break up, so they said, let's do poly.
- 53:27Speaker 4: It's like, wait, what the fuck?
- 53:28Speaker 2: And now it's just this web.
- 53:29Speaker 4: So we get a lot of those types of emails
- 53:31Speaker 4: where it's.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Like, I got myself into this situation because really what
- 53:34Speaker 2: I should have done is just broken up with the person.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Right. And then the person that, you know, went along
- 53:39Speaker 1: with it could be very resentful or, yeah, or the
- 53:42Speaker 1: classic of like, Um, let's have, or even just like,
- 53:46Speaker 1: let's have a threesome. And then the girl ends up
- 53:48Speaker 1: enjoying the girl more than the guy. And it's like,
- 53:51Speaker 1: and then she goes off to be with the girl.
- 53:53Speaker 1: She goes off to be, explore her late in life lesbianism. Like,
- 53:57Speaker 1: you know, like.
- 53:57Speaker 4: I think you can be very, yeah.
- 53:58Speaker 2: It's just people to just remind people to be thoughtful
- 54:01Speaker 2: about the way that they negotiate and talk about and
- 54:03Speaker 2: communicate about whatever their situation is.
- 54:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:06Speaker 5: And if you agree to something sexually, like with your partner,
- 54:08Speaker 5: know that like, there's a good chance I'm going to
- 54:10Speaker 5: go off and do that. And you could be jealous.
- 54:12Speaker 5: You could, it could not hit you in the way
- 54:14Speaker 5: that you expect it to. So just like be ready to.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Feel those feelings. I did this show called all about sex.
- 54:21Speaker 1: We only did six episodes of it, but so much
- 54:24Speaker 1: of like the questions and stuff as a TV show,
- 54:27Speaker 1: It was like right around like the 50 shades of
- 54:30Speaker 1: gray and everything was like, well, the way to spice
- 54:34Speaker 1: it up is to dress up and buy toys and
- 54:38Speaker 1: do a fantasy. And I was like, oh, my God. Like,
- 54:40Speaker 1: is there anything any other advice than that?
- 54:43Speaker 2: Like.
- 54:44Speaker 4: Play with a power dynamic.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Don't dress up. Play with a power dynamic.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Do that. What do you mean?
- 54:48Speaker 4: Power play.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Everything is power, right? Our whole lives we're negotiating power
- 54:52Speaker 2: with people, whether it's an assistant, a comedy partner, a husband,
- 54:56Speaker 2: whatever the fuck. There's various power negotiations happening there. With sex,
- 55:01Speaker 2: that is like the ultimate physical manifestation of power. And
- 55:06Speaker 2: I'm not saying like one person is powering the other,
- 55:08Speaker 2: but it's a very powerful act.
- 55:10Speaker 4: It's a very vulnerable act.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:12Speaker 2: It's like I totally understand the notion of spicing things
- 55:15Speaker 2: up and wanting to. It's very human and it's so
- 55:17Speaker 2: fun when you spice it up and it works. Oh,
- 55:19Speaker 2: my fucking God. It's the best.
- 55:21Speaker 4: It's addicting.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Like it's enthralling. And so playing with a power dynamic,
- 55:25Speaker 2: that's not usually something that you do in your relationship.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Sometimes people, if they're like married or been together for
- 55:30Speaker 2: a while, they have one type of sex. Whatever the
- 55:32Speaker 2: power dynamic is in that sex. Is one person submissive?
- 55:35Speaker 2: Is one person dominant? Not saying that they're, like, full-on kinky.
- 55:38Speaker 2: But if you reverse that, whatever the power dynamic is,
- 55:40Speaker 2: that could be enough to just jolt you into excitement.
- 55:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:46Speaker 1: What about have, you know, in this day and age,
- 55:49Speaker 1: because you get a lot of people asking questions and
- 55:51Speaker 1: giving their scenarios and stuff.
- 55:53Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 55:55Speaker 1: It always seems like the shocking from the Oprah days
- 55:58Speaker 1: would be that I found out my husband was having
- 56:02Speaker 1: gay sex.
- 56:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 56:04Speaker 1: And oh my God. Have you found maybe in this
- 56:08Speaker 1: day and age it's more like not a deal breaker?
- 56:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just curious.
- 56:13Speaker 4: That's an interesting question.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Have people been like, oh, why can't a guy be
- 56:15Speaker 1: a little bi? It always used to be like a
- 56:17Speaker 1: girl could be a bi, but the minute the guy
- 56:19Speaker 1: gets gay, Forget it. That's what he'd rather have. He's
- 56:22Speaker 1: really secretly gay. He never was in love with you. Blah, blah, blah.
- 56:26Speaker 5: I think it's the secrecy is the problem, though, because
- 56:28Speaker 5: we actually very recently got an email that that was
- 56:31Speaker 5: a guy who had.
- 56:33Speaker 4: Like dicks or something on his phone. It was like
- 56:34Speaker 4: a man. He was bicurious.
- 56:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 56:37Speaker 1: For sure.
- 56:38Speaker 4: But he wasn't saying that. Yeah.
- 56:40Speaker 5: And for me, like openly, if someone like on a
- 56:43Speaker 5: dating app or something had bisexual in the profile, no problem.
- 56:46Speaker 5: I've dated a bisexual man. That's not the problem. The
- 56:49Speaker 5: problem for me is just like be open. I want
- 56:51Speaker 5: to know that you're bisexual before I start dating you.
- 56:53Speaker 5: I don't want to find out like after or in between.
- 56:57Speaker 4: Especially for people who know. Like if you know, just
- 56:59Speaker 4: like tell me.
- 57:00Speaker 1: That's it. Dating a bisexual guy though.
- 57:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:02Speaker 1: That's a lot to then be aware of because if
- 57:05Speaker 1: you're dating a guy and you go to a party–
- 57:07Speaker 1: And you think he's straight. Okay. You're in a straight relationship.
- 57:11Speaker 1: And a girl is there and she doesn't have a
- 57:13Speaker 1: partner and she's being kind of flirty. You're like, okay, bitch. Like,
- 57:16Speaker 1: step back. But then if your dude's bisexual, it's like
- 57:19Speaker 1: every guy, every person that he goes, I'm going to
- 57:22Speaker 1: play baseball. I'm going to go to the gym. I'm
- 57:24Speaker 1: going to be with my friend.
- 57:25Speaker 6: Oh, right.
- 57:25Speaker 5: Sports.
- 57:25Speaker 1: If you are a little bit of a jealous person. Right.
- 57:28Speaker 1: How do you know that he's, like, and then he
- 57:31Speaker 1: comes home that night and he has no, you know,
- 57:34Speaker 1: energy left to screw you. And you're like, what did
- 57:36Speaker 1: you do at soccer?
- 57:37Speaker 4: But this is conflating. A little worst case scenario-ing it, Heather.
- 57:40Speaker 5: This is conflating being untrustworthy with being bisexual.
- 57:43Speaker 4: And the two of the things have nothing to do
- 57:45Speaker 4: with each other.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Right. Okay, so if you're an untrustworthy person, don't you
- 57:49Speaker 1: think it would be more difficult?
- 57:50Speaker 2: But just don't date an untrustworthy person. I was going
- 57:53Speaker 2: to say, what needs to happen in that scenario is
- 57:55Speaker 2: that person needs to work on their jealousy issues.
- 57:57Speaker 4: Okay. That's what's happening. There's no trust in the relationship.
- 58:00Speaker 5: I didn't suspect or worry about my bisexual boyfriend cheating
- 58:05Speaker 5: on me any more than I— But were you.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Guys monogamous, though?
- 58:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, this is like a very short relationship, too.
- 58:10Speaker 5: Oh, so you were not— But I mean, in general, bisexuality,
- 58:13Speaker 5: not at all a deal-breaker for.
- 58:15Speaker 4: Me as long as I know. That's it.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Yeah. What about threesomes where two guys and you— Oh,
- 58:21Speaker 1: that's my favorite.
- 58:22Speaker 4: I'm not into threesomes, but yes, you. I flew a
- 58:25Speaker 4: porn star from Los Angeles to New York to have
- 58:27Speaker 4: sex with him and another man.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Tell me everything.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Ryan Driller.
- 58:32Speaker 1: How did you find him?
- 58:35Speaker 4: Pornhub.com.
- 58:36Speaker 2: I was sleeping with this person. He was a fuck
- 58:38Speaker 2: buddy is the best word for it. And very sexy,
- 58:41Speaker 2: very like we had just great sexual chemistry. And he
- 58:45Speaker 2: like had an adventurous side to him. I had a
- 58:48Speaker 2: very sexually adventurous relationship for seven years. So I was like, oh,
- 58:51Speaker 2: let's I love when I broke up with that guy.
- 58:53Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, I want to explore sexually being sexually
- 58:57Speaker 2: adventurous with another guy.
- 58:58Speaker 4: Like, it's so fun.
- 58:59Speaker 2: And so this person kind of, I knew he had
- 59:01Speaker 2: the bug of like, and I'm like, what would you be?
- 59:03Speaker 2: What would you want to do? Like, is there anything
- 59:04Speaker 2: like on your bucket list? And he's like, I would
- 59:06Speaker 2: love to see you get fucked. i'm like perfect sign
- 59:09Speaker 2: me up and so there's this person that we both
- 59:12Speaker 2: knew yeah i knew of him and then this person
- 59:15Speaker 2: knew you could dm anyone with that blue check mark
- 59:18Speaker 2: hell yeah okay verify gets you a lot of shit
- 59:21Speaker 2: don't let anybody tell you different.
- 59:22Speaker 1: You dm him and say i'm a big fan I'm
- 59:25Speaker 1: a fan of your work. Do you have any plans
- 59:27Speaker 1: to come to New York? He's like, no. And then
- 59:29Speaker 1: you're like, I'll get you a flight.
- 59:31Speaker 4: That's pretty much how it happened.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Kurt is going to do the itinerary.
- 59:34Speaker 4: Yes, I will do it. I'd be happy to.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Well, so my fuck buddy booked his flight and then
- 59:41Speaker 2: I booked the hotel.
- 59:42Speaker 4: So yeah, we had complimentary skill sets in this.
- 59:46Speaker 1: And then did you also have to pay him for
- 59:47Speaker 1: his time?
- 59:48Speaker 4: No, but the payment was his flight and his hotel.
- 59:54Speaker 1: And he got to have sex, too. Right, got to
- 59:57Speaker 1: have sex. And then the other guy just sat. Did
- 59:59Speaker 1: the fuck buddy watch or he joined in?
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: There was some watching. There was some joining. There was
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: a little bit of everything. There was.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: They didn't do anything. Because I asked them. I was like, oh,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: are you bisexual? Are you bi-curious? Because I wanted to know, like,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: what are you curious about? Like, what do you think about?
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: What turns you on? What gets you rock hard? Like,
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: that's what I wanted to know. Yeah, I'd sign up
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: for that part. I'd be like, can you guys kiss?
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: I wanted that.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: My boyfriend went on a work trip, and I was like,
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: can you... If you want to kiss... And then insert
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: guy's name here. I was like, if you want to, like,
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: kiss him on the beach, like, that's totally fine.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Just tape it for me.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I'm into that.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: I used to watch softcore, like, gay, like.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: It wasn't porn, but it was, like.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: I don't know what you call films where it's like.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: It's a movie, but like, is it?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: It's mostly sex.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: It's so funny because I've said that.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: That's my favorite genre of film.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: My favorite genre of porn is like prime time storylines
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: of TV shows that weren't supposed to be gay and
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: then they shock you with the gayness.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Like, you guys... Gay shock.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: They're working in an office.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: Is that your finger?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: They're both very hetero.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: And then they're just like, man, you took that client
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: from me.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: Fuck you.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: No, fuck you.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: That's hot.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: And then they just start going at it.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Really hot.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: That's my favorite thing.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Wait, I gotta watch that. That sounds great.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I don't know. There's little things like that. That's what
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I'm always like. When I watch The Bachelorette, I'm like,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: when are two guys going to just, like, go for it?
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure there's, you know, some underlying thing,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: but I don't think we've ever seen it, like, in captivity.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Like, it's, like, maybe afterwards or something. But, so, when
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you said that to the guy, was he at all
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: bi then, or did he just thought you were, like, ridiculous?
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: No, that, I mean, that's my current boyfriend, and he
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: is not bisexual, or maybe he hasn't discovered it yet
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: because he's young.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: He was just like, he was like, are you serious?
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: He's like, are you serious?
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: I think there was a little bit more jealousy because
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: in that youth, there's a little more jealousy. I think
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: jealousy tends to fade as you get older.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: So that was like 36-year-old me talking to 24-year-old him.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: And he was more, like in his head, he was like,
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: you'd be okay if I just like hooked up with
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: someone else. I go, yeah, a man?
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: That's no, I'm never going to be a man. So
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: this is not a threat to me in any way.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: It's not competition. I don't have a D.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: I mean- And again, like, and I was also, I'm like,
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: I'm the one who's asking you and telling you that
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: that's fine. So it's like, yeah, no, I mean, don't
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: secretly start like hooking up with men.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: That would also be strange.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: I was like, you know, just, you know, the waves
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: are hitting a certain way.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: And when you, throughout all your years of being on
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: this show and like sharing about your own experiences and everything,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: when you'd be dating someone. Would they listen to the podcast?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Would you be on restriction of how much you could share?
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's interesting. Before we started the podcast, I
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: had been dating somebody for two years. I ended up
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: dating for five more years. So the first five years
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: of Guys Be Fucked, I had a boyfriend the whole time.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: And I was exploring various themes with him and stuff.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Like I said, we were very sexually adventurous.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: There was a lot to talk about there.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: I did talk about some intimate things without running it
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: by him, which was bad on my part. And we
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: had a big fight, which makes sense. He was understandably
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: very upset. And then eventually we figured out a system.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Because I'm just.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: Now learning to be, like, an adult woman in where, like.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Even if you don't want to deliver the news, you
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: still should.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: You know what I mean? Like, have the hard conversations
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: or to, like, say, like, hey, I'm going to talk
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: about this on the podcast.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Is that cool?
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: And this is why I really want to talk about it.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: And I just, like.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: There's a part of me that's just like, I just
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: want to talk about it and hopefully he doesn't hear it,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: which is not good. So I'm getting used to that.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: I've been single for three years. So and I hadn't
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: the last two years. I have not dated. I didn't
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: have sex. I just fucking I so much childhood trauma
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: shit that I needed to sort out.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: And so I was focusing on that for a while.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Now that I'm seeing somebody.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: I am very mindful of just. letting that relationship happen
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: however it's going to happen without um highlighting it you
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: know but there's certain things along the way of like
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: you know right before you you know when you see
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: a guy's house and.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: You're like oh i hope it doesn't suck i hope
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: he's like got a.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Nice house you know what i mean like it's all
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: these little details that say a lot about a guy
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: that as you're getting to know him so that kind
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: of those kind of things i talk about but everything
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: else personal i kind of keep to myself.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: And so like what have you guys noticed? What's like–
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: since you've been doing this so long, what's like the
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: new kind of questions that you're getting from like people
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: in their early 20s that like you– can I– differentiate
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: between the generations.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: Of sexual standard duress that's a lot yeah this is
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: seriously that's been like a very common theme for for
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: people in their 20s lately uh emailing us and a
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: lot of like uh i would say like emotional abuse
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: uh that a lot of my friend is in a
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: physically abusive relationship what do i do a lot of
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: should i move cross-country for this guy a lot of
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: honestly like kind of it's very interesting because i would
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: say like as much as we feel like You know,
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: Gen Z is progressing and better than us. As far
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: as sex and relationships go, like, there's more openness. But
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: beyond that, it's still kind of the same problems, which is, like,
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: disheartening and– but interesting at the same time.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: I would venture to say there's still more– we're not
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: on to– you know, we still got to crack some
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: codes with the way that we interact with each other
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: sexually and romantically.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Do you think that, like, certain popular shows affected the
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: way– like, I.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: The way people react.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Sex in the City.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: That was my sex education.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Sex in the City came out when I was already married. Okay.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: So I like enjoyed it. But as I was watching it,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I was like, my God, you know, my friends and
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I were way more like judgy and would check each
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: other about how many people you're sleeping with or who
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you're sleeping with, or you'd keep it to yourself. So
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: to watch these women that were Their characters were, I guess,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: about my age, but maybe they were just single. So
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I was just kind of like, geez, is this what's happening?
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: And now when I think about the way the younger generation,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: like girls like 25 to 30 or whatever, react to sex,
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: I'm like, I think they saw this like, about you
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: could screw whoever you want, meet them at the gym,
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: screw them, whatever, which a lot of that was written
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: by gay men.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: And I think it sort of affected their whole.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Because it's like you see it and you see it
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: as a kid and you forget that there's a writer's
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: room and this isn't real and people are writing this.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: And then you just emulate. You want to go to
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: New York. You want to live that life.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: And we certainly see a lot of remnants of I
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: want to be cool. So I'm going to like to
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: propose a three way to my boyfriend. It's like, but
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: does that make you wet? Because if it doesn't, that's
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: not something you should put on your sexual repertoire.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Or there's something, you've got to find what turns you
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: on about it.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Instead of what you're trying to fucking prove. You don't
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: prove anything with sex. You come or you have an
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: intimate physical encounter with another human being.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: That's what sex is, right?
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: So I think it's so easy to get wrapped up
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: in these things that we should be proud of or
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: brag about like, Shows like Section of the City would
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: like kind of push on us.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Or like I'm like, what's Euphoria going to do for this?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I love that show. I love it too. But I'm like,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I mean, I was saying, I started to watch it
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and I was just, and you know, it's so graphically sexual.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: And I said this the other day on the show.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I'm a little bit bummed that it's that sexual because
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I honestly think it could be a great show. I
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: have teenagers that you could watch with your teenager. Right.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Because it's like, oh, my God, the way the girl
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: becomes a drug addict is so.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Very interesting. And her journey with that.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Honest and like such a real thing that could happen
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: and where the other girl starts becoming a sex worker
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: for attention and like. Those are the kind of things,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: you know, that I think are really important to see.
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: And all the characters. But then you can't watch it
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: with your kid when, like, you know... Yeah.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: The titties are out and just bouncing.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Up and down. Or dicks. Or, like, you know, like,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I was just like, yeah. But, like, do our teenagers
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: watching that show and thinking... all this is okay and
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: all this is the way you're supposed to act in
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: sex and this and that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: Well, it's interesting because people have criticized Euphoria for glamorizing
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: drug use. And I go, if anybody watches that show
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: and wants to use drugs more, you're just an addict
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: and that's a journey that you're going to go on anyway,
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: whether Euphoria came on the air or not.
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: I watch that show and go... I never want to
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: touch a drug.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I felt it was like an afterschool special, literally on crack. Like,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: like I would watch afterschool specials and that would keep
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: me from like ever wanting to get pregnant, ever wanting
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: to try a drug. And I think, yeah, that's it too,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: you know? And it's, and to make people aware and
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the fact that they're talking about fentanyl and stuff like
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: that's so important and how much it, You know, and
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: how you think it's cool with the friend at the carnival.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: This is season one. And then, like, at the end, it's, like,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the worst night of your life. Like, I thought that, yeah,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: And, like, heteronormative issues and, like, having a, you know, sorry,
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: there's spoilers coming if you haven't watched the season two.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Wait, I haven't seen season two. Oh, you didn't? I
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: told you I'm on season one. Oh, sorry. Don't tell me.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I did say season one, so don't.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Spoil it.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: We have very few things to look forward to.
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: How can you be giving the juicy scoop?
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: You've got to watch Euphoria.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: It's the hottest show on the air.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I know. But it's like I have to be by
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: myself and I have to take it in small doses.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: It's a stressful show.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: I have to take it in small doses. It's a
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: stressful show.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I can't shot one that I can like binge on
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: a Saturday, you know.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: Okay, yeah.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Not that I'm binging anything on a Saturday. Well, tell
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: everybody where they can watch your show, what's everything they
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: should be following you and all that stuff.
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: So our special day is our debut stand-up comedy special

- 1:09:36Speaker 2: is the URL to watch it. It's the first video

- 1:10:03Speaker 5: VIPs.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: To have your diary out there for anybody to listen to.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: Mental health reasons.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: And so, yeah, the Guys We Fucked, we have a
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: lot of YouTube content out there for free and our
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: social media is at Guys We Fucked.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Oh, and then you said you were going to Bill
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Maher's show after this.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: His new podcast, Clubrandom.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: Have you met him before?
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Do you perhaps have a Bill Maher story to share?
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I have. I have met Bill Maher.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: Give me that scoop.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Well, I remembered how I met him just the other
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: day when I was watching the Playboy documentary. Oh, okay.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Have you guys watched that? I haven't watched that yet. No,
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: that sounds good.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I think you guys should watch that.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: What streaming service is this on?
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: It's on A & E.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: And I think the last one is going to be Monday.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: There's 10 of them.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Get that.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Get you caught up. And so it was, how would
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the girls get invited to the Playboy Mansion? And I
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: got invited to the Playboy Mansion for a couple years.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I went to the parties. Hell yeah. So cool. But
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: nothing ever happened.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: You didn't see any wild shit?
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Well, first of all, I was always looking for someone, like,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: normal and, like, cute. So I was not going to
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: screw the old men that were there. And I was
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: not someone who was into drugs. And I just was, like,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: happy to be there and, like, just experience, like, the
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: beautiful house and, like, The Lamb Chop Lollipop apps and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: just like I was just about that. But that is
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: exactly the way they described it, exactly what happened. I
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: was at something with Bill Maher. Like there was a
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Bill Maher dinner or something. My friend was seeing him.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: So I was at a restaurant and then his friend
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: was like, would you like to come to the Playboy Mansion?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: And they were saying like there were these old men
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: that would like go to clubs and just invite girls together.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: But then there was this other thing called the mini
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: mansions that these guys would try to do. And then
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: that was for, like, if you really wanted to be
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: a playmate and couldn't make it, but you're trying to
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: do it, they'd be like, you can stay at our house.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: And then you would basically just get fucked. Like, it
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: would be horrible. Like, awful stories of girls.
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: Oh, like, Sexual assault?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Like rape?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Like maybe you agreed to it, but it's basically like
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you're like living in the house for free for a reason.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Somebody dangled a possible job that's never actually going to
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: happen so.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: They can fuck you.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Like this is part of the deal and, you know,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: say in our father and get over with. I don't
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: know what people do. But I was just like, oh
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: my God. So yeah. So then I met him a couple,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: so then my friend dated him and then I went
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: to his show.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: And Oh, your friend dated him?
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: He's notoriously single, right?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Oh, my God. This was a million years ago.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: He has girlfriends, they said, but just never married.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: This was a million years ago. Honestly, I think it
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: might have been before 9-11.
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: Damn.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: A million years ago. Because I remember we went to
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the show at CBS, and then he hopped in my Celica,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and we all went to the restaurant. some restaurant and
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: he was like really funny and nice. And so then
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: cut to like 20, like 20 years later, about a
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: year ago or so, I think it was during COVID.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I can't remember. Anyway, about a year. So my friend goes,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: do you want to go to the Bill Maher show
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: in Santa Barbara with me? And I was like, all right, yeah,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: that might be kind of fun. I mean, I don't
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: know if he'll remember me, but we're going to go
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: backstage and everything. So we go to the show and
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: just at one point, like I'm talking to him and
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I think, And.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: Oh, my God, Heather.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: And I say, like... And I'm like, oh, yeah, we're...
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I probably don't remember my... I'm a comedian, too. You
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: probably don't remember my friend Daisy, whatever, that you dated
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: a million years ago. But, you know, the show was great. Blah, blah, blah.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: We're talking. We're laughing. We're talking about things. And he's, like,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: eating his, like, chicken and baked potato after the show.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: And I'm like, we're talking. And all of a sudden,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: he's like, okay, you guys are really loud.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: And I.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Was like, I have got to get the fuck out
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: of here. Like, I don't think there's a worse thing
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: than a guy telling you, like, my eardrums.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: That is so something he would say. Oh, my God.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I was like, I know. I was like, oh, my God. Okay.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: So we leave. At least he wasn't like.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I go, oh, my God. I'm like, well, anyway, great show. Like,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: we're going to get a hug. I don't really think
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: anything of it. I know it wasn't a hit. Yeah.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: Can't wait until he meets me.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I know he wasn't like... Well, I think in this setting.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: Well, did he just get off of his show?
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: I was going to say, because when we get off stage.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want anybody.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: To fucking talk to me or look at me because
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: I'm tired. The whole thing was that my friend invited
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: me and she was widowed a few years ago and
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: her husband was really good friends with him.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: So I thought I'm like doing her a favor by
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: coming and going on a friendship thing. I'm just thinking
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: this might be something I need to put on Patreon. Anyway,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: so then I come back.
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: So.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: I think the night was OK. It wasn't the hit
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be.
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: But whatever. She then goes on to tell me that
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: she's like, Bill Maher was so mad at me that,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you know, when I got invited to the show, he
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: just wanted to talk to me. And then he was
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: like all bothered that I brought this comedian girl and
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: that you were like bringing up your friend and all
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: this stuff.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: Oh, he's trying to bomb?
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: He's trying to fuck?
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Well, first of all.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: Was he trying to fuck?
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: To be honest, I think my friend was kind of
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: bitchy to say that. Because I'm like, first of all,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I know I drove home from Santa Barbara, so there's
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: no way I was wasted.
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: And then I'm like, and you're making me feel kind
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: of shitty.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: I know I wasn't drinking and driving. Like, I wasn't. Like, right, right.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: She's talking to you. Like, that's private.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Like, she shouldn't reveal that to you. That's, like, inappropriate.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Like, oh, man, I made a bad call bringing you. Yeah.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: And I was like, first of all.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: I dumped her.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I actually, after she told me that, I have.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: You friend dumped her?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I kind of friend dumped her.
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: Yeah, because that's rude.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Like, there wasn't a lot of activity her coming my
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: way either. But, like, when she told me that.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: She didn't need to tell you that.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I was just kind of like.
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: It's fucking rude.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I was just, yeah, because I was like, you asked
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: me and I literally got rid of another birthday plan
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: because I thought you were, like, needed a friend to
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: go to this. But then I also was like, oh,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: this could kind of be cool for me. Like, I'd
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: love to be on Bill Maher's show. Like, who knows
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: if he knows who I am or not. But then
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: when I got in that space, it just brought all
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: back those, like, I'm the female that an older white
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: comedian male does not find funny. Why are you loud?
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: Who is this chick?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Of course you're a comedian. I don't know who the
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: fuck you are. Like, I just started. So I kind
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: of felt that when it was happening. But then with
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: the really loud ladies, I was just like, oh, my God.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: It, like, reinstated that.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Yeah. I just want to die. But, yeah.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: Right, it's also, so I'll tell him he said hi.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: It's demeaning to speak to like a woman, you know,
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: like a full adult woman as like, it seems like
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: a childlike thing to say like, you know, quiet guys,
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: like no playing in the green room.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Also, I want to say in his defense, my friend
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: said the worst thing you could say after a show.
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: I liked it, but I don't know why everyone else
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: was laughing. I thought you were funny. No, it was like,
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: I thought you did great.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Yes, the worst is I've had people come up to.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Me after shows when I actually think it was a
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: great night. And then even like in meet and greets,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: and someone's like, can I just apologize for my city?
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: I don't know what is wrong with them. It happened, yes.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: I don't know what's wrong with my city. Like, I
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: was totally laughing. These people just don't get it. So, like,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: don't let it get you down. And you're like, I
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: thought I killed it. Right. From where I was standing,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: there was a lot of laughter. And I thought I did, like,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: a great show. Yeah. So she did a little of that.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: She walked in.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: And I have to say.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: People be projecting.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I have to say, it was this theater in Santa Barbara.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: And the acoustics are not great. Like, it's an old situation.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: And there were a lot of old, rich people. Santa
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Barbara liberals that came to see him and they like
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: literally were saying, what did she say?
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: What did he say?
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: And then the lady would be like, Ernie, he said
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: in Obama times, like it was just like.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: That's so funny.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: That's a bit, you gotta do a bit of.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Oh my God. And so then we walk in and
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I'm like, before I can say so fricking hilarious. Right.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Loved it. Bill Maher. Remember me and Daisy? Like before
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I could say that.
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I was like, She did that like, I don't know
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: what happened out there. Like, oh my God, what is wrong?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: I think people couldn't hear you.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: That is so fucking rude. Okay, I'm honestly surprised he
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: didn't say, get out, pigs. I think he.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Didn't because this really was like his friend's wife. Yeah,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: she was his widow.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: That's right, I forgot about that.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Since we're definitely doing this on Patreon. Then she goes,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: oh my God, you have to come to my, you know,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you have to come to my house in Santa Barbara.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I've totally redone it. Next time you come here, you
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: have to stay at my place. And he's like, he
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: said her name. He goes, I'm never staying at your house.
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: I appreciate the blindness.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I know a hundred percent.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: He's not fucking lying.
- 1:18:59Speaker 5: Bill Maher.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: You think he's going to stay at Santa Barbara? He's
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: going to the Bill Maher or whatever that fancy hotel is.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: He's not going to like be excited to get a
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: free night in the guest room. Right. Like, you know,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: like I.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: Hate staying at other people's houses.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: When somebody offers you something that you couldn't give a
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: fuck about and means nothing to you, but they think
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: they're doing you a favor by offering it. That's always
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: such a funny talk about power dynamics. That's so fucking funny.
- 1:19:22Speaker 5: Yeah. Unless they're not there. Like to stay at someone's
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: house when they are in. Yeah.
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: Get a hotel. That's terrible. That's terrible. Unless you're like
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: a relative.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I've done it with friends and stuff like that. And, um,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: But now, because honestly, sometimes I'd be like, oh, that
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: will be great. You know, I'm doing stand-up. I have
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: to stay four nights. I'm making this much. Ooh, I'll
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: save this much. Oh, yeah. Depending on. But then as
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: now I am like, no. Like, I just want to
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: watch TV. I want to get my coffee. Yeah. Don't
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: want to hear your dog.
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: It's a lot about the dog sometimes.
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: Do you not have a dog?
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: I have a dog.
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: Do you like the dog?
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I love the dog, but my dog isn't barking
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: at 6 a.m. after I went to bed at 2.30
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: after doing two shows.
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: Gosh, that's terrible.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: It's not their fault to stop the dog. That's their life.
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: How many dog friends do you have? I've only done it.
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: Have you stayed at a lot of friends' houses and
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: were interrupted by their dog?
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: It's only been a couple times, and now I'm like,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: I'm down to stay if I'm not performing. If I'm performing,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: I need to be at a hotel.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: Yeah, right, because you need your own fucking space.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: And again, it's like, I might want to stay up
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: until 3 to watch TV. I want to sleep until noon.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: You need to recharge. It's not my friend's fault who
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: lives in a beautiful mansion that needs to walk her
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: dog or the dog is getting excited. It's not the
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: dog's fault. that I couldn't go.
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: To sleep in the night. Just say Chelsea then.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: No, it was not Chelsea. But it was another very
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: wealthy friend and I love her and she might be patron.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: But the point is, I will come and I don't
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: care if the dog wakes me up as long as
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I'm not performing. Yeah, yeah. But yes, that's very funny.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: You guys are awesome. Thank you. I'll do a little
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: new ending because we'll marry that part. You already said
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: where they can watch everything. But thank you guys. I
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: wish you lots of success.
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: And this is very exciting and I hope the Fox
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: show goes or whatever million other things you're working on.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I love that you're comedy partners for life. And it's
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: just a beautiful thing. Thanks.
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: Thanks for always being so open and supportive with us. Yeah,
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: we love coming on your podcast.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: And let us know when you're in New York. Oh,
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: please come on ours. We have a podcast studio now.
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: Fully equipped with videos.
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: Please let us know.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Oh, that's awesome. Great. Definitely.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Thanks, Heather. They think you're done for the day, but
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: they don't know about the drawer.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: The drawer. Just the one square before bed. Or two,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
