- 0:26Speaker 2: Welcome to On the Luni.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Oh, musical on the success of on the heels of
- 0:32Speaker 1: the success of our uh Jesus Christ Secret Star rendition.
- 0:38Speaker 1: That's right, Jesus, you were excellent. I was listening back
- 0:43Speaker 1: to that clip tod Agina and you were like you
- 0:46Speaker 1: started to the la.
- 0:48Speaker 2: It was so I love the seventies movie version.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's yeah, that is I love. I'm not I'm not religious,
- 0:57Speaker 1: but I love that musicals so much. Musical it's so
- 1:01Speaker 1: fucking good.
- 1:02Speaker 3: We need a cross up between Jesus Christ Superstar and
- 1:04Speaker 3: Book of Mormon. Just merge those two musicals together.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Jesus Christ Mormon Star.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Jesus, don't fuck the baby.
- 1:16Speaker 1: No, don't fuck the baby. That's also what they're calling
- 1:21Speaker 1: the Epstein File political all right, produce our guests though. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:31Speaker 1: you're feeling some male vibes here, guys. Today We've got
- 1:34Speaker 1: our friend of the show, Vincent Sobrano with us.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Hey, everybody, I'm doing good. How are you guys.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Doing doing good?
- 1:43Speaker 3: Good?
- 1:44Speaker 2: Dream It's a lot later for me than y'all because
- 1:46Speaker 2: you're on the West coast I've been up for a
- 1:49Speaker 2: while that West.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Coast is the best coast.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Probably with side.
- 1:57Speaker 1: That's right, thank you. It was like West Coast feels
- 1:59Speaker 1: very long.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Vincent, did you watch the Golden Girls when you
- 2:05Speaker 2: were younger?
- 2:06Speaker 3: I did because I did not have cable growing up,
- 2:10Speaker 3: so I was forced to watch all the old shows
- 2:13Speaker 3: or do nothing at all. If it wasn't Golden Girls,
- 2:16Speaker 3: it was I Love Lucy and Andy Griffiths Show and
- 2:19Speaker 3: Mister Ed and oh yeah, yeah, everything, you know, there
- 2:25Speaker 3: was everything in between. I mean, hell, I was so
- 2:27Speaker 3: goddamn board growing up with no cable. Teletubby's was something
- 2:32Speaker 3: I was watching as a teenager because there's just nothing
- 2:34Speaker 3: else on TV in the summers. So, yes, I did
- 2:39Speaker 3: watch Golden So did you.
- 2:40Speaker 2: You didn't catch it first run? Did you? I think
- 2:42Speaker 2: you're longer than us.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Ok yeah, I'm forty. So what of this? Golden Girls
- 2:46Speaker 3: came out early eighties? Okay, so yeah, so when I
- 2:53Speaker 3: was still a sperm in my dad's balls because I
- 2:55Speaker 3: was born eighty six.
- 2:57Speaker 2: So oh yeah, okay, okay, good time.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I have to tell you that an episode that we're
- 3:05Speaker 1: going to be seeing in two weeks from now will
- 3:11Speaker 1: be one that my mom just saw, and so I
- 3:13Speaker 1: was just having this like very organic conversation with my
- 3:16Speaker 1: mother about an episode that we haven't done yet. But
- 3:19Speaker 1: I was like, actually, let's talk about this. And it's
- 3:24Speaker 1: interesting to see because my mom watched it live, but
- 3:28Speaker 1: I mostly saw in syndication like you did, Vincent. I
- 3:32Speaker 1: saw some of it live, but I rediscovered it in
- 3:35Speaker 1: syndication and fell in love when I was older.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Same I saw Like the tail End live.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And my parents, as it turns out, weren't like hard
- 3:45Speaker 1: like and fast Golden Girls lovers. They just watched it
- 3:50Speaker 1: because it was a popular show on TV, so if
- 3:52Speaker 1: they missed a week, they didn't, you know, die or anything.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And so my mom is really, yeah, she's watching. I mean,
- 4:00Speaker 1: we had a VCR very early on, but you could
- 4:02Speaker 1: only record one channel back then. It wasn't like watch
- 4:06Speaker 1: it all, and so we watched, uh or she has
- 4:11Speaker 1: been watching it on Hallmarks in the morning, and a
- 4:13Speaker 1: lot of the times their seasons align with our seasons,
- 4:18Speaker 1: they may not play them in episodic order. But so
- 4:22Speaker 1: three thirteen just aired for her and she was like,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I've seen that one, and I vaguely remember it from
- 4:29Speaker 1: when I was like seeing it live and I.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Say, yeah, that's a fun one.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I like. I like three thirteen.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but I.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Think Vincent has a good one today, honest. I like
- 4:41Speaker 2: this one.
- 4:42Speaker 1: This first one, yes, the second one's it's all right.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh shit, I let you guys behind that Wizard of
- 4:49Speaker 1: Oz Kurt and again.
- 4:50Speaker 2: God, when you when you come back next week, Vincent?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, next week you're here.
- 4:54Speaker 3: I'll definitely be here next week, you too.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I mean, I like them all, but some are definitely
- 5:03Speaker 2: better than others.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I can't wait. One of my favorites is coming up
- 5:07Speaker 1: about Rose and who she and her father and.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Oh not Rose aids, Okay, no, that's not one of
- 5:17Speaker 2: my favorite, that's your favorite.
- 5:20Speaker 4: No.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I was explaining yesterday to my parents about how when
- 5:24Speaker 1: there is a serious A plot, there was always a
- 5:28Speaker 1: crazy B plot because the one of the ones she
- 5:30Speaker 1: was watching had like aliens and UFO And I said,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I said, was the main plot really serious? And she
- 5:38Speaker 1: was like yeah, And I was like, okay, there.
- 5:41Speaker 2: That's why I gotta keep them hooked balance. Yeah, who's
- 5:47Speaker 2: your favorite Golden Girl? If you have one?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's it's got to be Sophia, right,
- 5:53Speaker 3: I mean, growing up. She was hilarious.
- 5:57Speaker 1: She is.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I just love her anyway, Yeah, yeah, No. But Sophia
- 6:03Speaker 3: with her non you know, no bullshit approach and her
- 6:07Speaker 3: you know, quippie one liners.
- 6:10Speaker 5: And she's Italian, well yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah yeah, and
- 6:16Speaker 5: not like a Judgie occasionally problematic in twenty twenty six.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, well no, Like of all of them, we find
- 6:28Speaker 1: that Blanches like yeah, morals are the least aligned with
- 6:33Speaker 1: today then next kind of Rose sometimes, to be.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Honest, both of them have their moments.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah it Dorothy being a teacher. They made her sort
- 6:43Speaker 1: of the woke one of the group, as woke as
- 6:45Speaker 1: you could be in nineteen eighties America. But yeah, like
- 6:50Speaker 1: when she gets Mario Lopez supported woke like that.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And she definitely got him back in the country.
- 6:57Speaker 1: We think, maybe we think because we never saw him after.
- 7:00Speaker 2: She cried and ate cookies, just.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Like Coco, Justice for Coco.
- 7:10Speaker 2: My god, what's going on in your life? I'm sorry,
- 7:13Speaker 2: I think Aaron was about to ask you that, No,
- 7:15Speaker 2: you do it. What's going on in your life?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Incent, Well, I just got back from cruise eskew a
- 7:21Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago. Hence the blonde hair that some
- 7:25Speaker 3: people think is green. I had a mohawk on that cruise,
- 7:28Speaker 3: so I shaved it on the sides. You know. That
- 7:32Speaker 3: was an absolute freaking blast. But aside from that, just
- 7:35Speaker 3: back to work, hanging with the dog and the girlfriend.
- 7:39Speaker 2: If people don't know cruise askew is the Kevin Smith
- 7:42Speaker 2: sent Yes, it's like a convention at sea.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's one of those themed cruises. But sending it
- 7:48Speaker 3: around Jane soundly, Bob, that's an absolute blast.
- 7:52Speaker 6: That looked like a lot of fun.
- 7:54Speaker 1: So now this was your second year there, right, this
- 7:57Speaker 1: was my second.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yeah, this one I had a lot more fun on
- 8:00Speaker 3: then the first one.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Uh.
- 8:01Speaker 3: For for those of you in the know, for those
- 8:04Speaker 3: that don't, I was married the first time I went
- 8:06Speaker 3: on the first cruise, and it was the tail end
- 8:09Speaker 3: of that relationship.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You went with your ex one.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Well, we were not exes yet.
- 8:14Speaker 2: It was mysteriously fell over the boat.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh that stays on divorce fees, right, yea, that's fine.
- 8:25Speaker 1: We plot the demise of your husband sometimes too, so
- 8:29Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Jeremy died in the Titanics.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I the devise of my common law wife, Abby my dog,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but she didn't come to the studio today. Not really,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I don't, I don't.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Can you keep it down?
- 8:44Speaker 1: Yeah? She was like, excuse me, I'm sleeping. I don't
- 8:48Speaker 1: do your show if I'm tired.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 3: No, but yeah, the first that was the end of
- 8:54Speaker 3: that kind of relationship. That was the last ditch effort
- 8:56Speaker 3: to try to, you know, work things out, and they
- 8:59Speaker 3: did it and I didn't have a good time. So
- 9:01Speaker 3: this was my redemption cruise. So for anybody who finds
- 9:05Speaker 3: my social media's, I was all over that goddamn ship
- 9:09Speaker 3: this time. A six three hundred pound dude with a
- 9:13Speaker 3: bleach blonde mohawk is not hard to find. And I
- 9:16Speaker 3: participated in absolutely everything cool, from humping Jason Muse to
- 9:23Speaker 3: doing a script reading with Ethan Thupley and Jason Lee
- 9:28Speaker 3: to dancing my ass off in the Silent Disco. It
- 9:31Speaker 3: was an absolute amazing time.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Very cool, are you now? Did you meet up with
- 9:36Speaker 1: some of the other members of the garment.
- 9:38Speaker 3: While you were there or Mike Boaster and Jody h cool? Yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 3: those were kind of the main ones.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Did he have a butler again? This time?
- 9:46Speaker 3: He did have a butler and he told us all
- 9:48Speaker 3: about it the whole goddamn time, and We kept saying, Mike,
- 9:51Speaker 3: we got to see your room. You got to see
- 9:53Speaker 3: your room. And he was like, yeah, I'll take it.
- 9:54Speaker 3: You never God damn took us son of a bit.
- 9:58Speaker 2: He was working and staying and crew quarters pay for it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Spoiler alert this just in. Mike Bolster didn't have a
- 10:06Speaker 1: butler this year. He was anybody butler.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe no butler.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I haven't tried to book the cruise. Uh, but is
- 10:17Speaker 1: it really even an option? I mean, is there a
- 10:20Speaker 1: butler service?
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know anything.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I've never been on the ship. You guys, this is
- 10:28Speaker 1: cruise askew the moon landing.
- 10:30Speaker 2: To is Kevin Smith real?
- 10:32Speaker 6: I don't even know.
- 10:33Speaker 1: No, I've definitely wait. I would't say no, I've I've
- 10:38Speaker 1: I have been in conversation with multiple times.
- 10:41Speaker 3: He's a real human told me he was the butler.
- 10:48Speaker 1: In totally a respectful way and also despite the fact
- 10:53Speaker 1: I know how tired he is from his young wife.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I would pay toe for Scheckler to be like a
- 10:59Speaker 1: sexy but butler. He's a good looking dude. I let
- 11:02Speaker 1: him like wear like a cute little like pair of
- 11:04Speaker 1: shorts and like a little white pole and I.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Were doing Joseph when he's the man Servant. Yeah, we're
- 11:12Speaker 2: doing another musical.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, way way man.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Anyway, cool.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Well, that's awesome. I'm glad you had fun, and I'm
- 11:28Speaker 1: glad that you took that back. Something I'm a big
- 11:32Speaker 1: put on a supporter of, is like, if something gets
- 11:36Speaker 1: fucked up and you love it, to try to find
- 11:38Speaker 1: a way to take that back.
- 11:39Speaker 2: And you did you erase the Smith's mind?
- 11:42Speaker 3: I did?
- 11:45Speaker 1: You got Kevin Smith in the Divorce and that's.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Like his movie, Him and the Dog. That's all I got.
- 11:52Speaker 3: She took everything else.
- 11:54Speaker 2: All but was so cute.
- 11:59Speaker 3: He's literally tell you know, a toy on my arm
- 12:02Speaker 3: right now?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Sweet peppers. Well what about you? You're you're quiet up there,
- 12:12Speaker 1: miss miss Kristen, Oh dear in headlights? You know that's
- 12:16Speaker 1: your name?
- 12:17Speaker 6: You said up.
- 12:18Speaker 2: There, and it's all different.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Yeah, dreams.
- 12:20Speaker 2: So I was like, everybody, we're in the Brady Squares,
- 12:27Speaker 2: go ahead, nothing new really.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I am getting ready to go over to my mom's
- 12:33Speaker 4: tomorrow and help wear out the kids so they take
- 12:36Speaker 4: a nap. So we're gonna go to the park. It's
- 12:38Speaker 4: sposially like seventy seven degrees outside.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Just get like a scream mask and terrorize them. So
- 12:45Speaker 2: they run cardio in.
- 12:48Speaker 4: They wear me out too, to be honest, but it'll
- 12:52Speaker 4: be fun run around.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Do the slides.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Shock electricity, you know, they come down to the slide
- 12:59Speaker 4: and the yeah sticking out.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Don't them too quickly.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It's like a metal slide or a plastic slide.
- 13:07Speaker 6: The plastic slide get.
- 13:09Speaker 2: A lot of Yeah, they get the static electricity. Yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 2: you need to put them in those big Szumo outfits.
- 13:15Speaker 6: They don't do each other.
- 13:17Speaker 4: And yeah, they don't do the metal slides at parks
- 13:20Speaker 4: anymore that oh you'll burn your When we were kids.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And we would like we got metal slides, man.
- 13:28Speaker 3: We got because of the metal slides on the back.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Of your legs.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I went down a metal.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Play hurt and we liked it.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I went down a metal slide in Boston when I
- 13:43Speaker 1: was there in twenty four for work. I went and
- 13:47Speaker 1: was walking around this like park and like the historic area,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and it was like a several row slide built into
- 13:54Speaker 1: like a hill and I had to walk up these
- 13:56Speaker 1: like very big steps. But there was all this like
- 14:01Speaker 1: used or discarded cardboard boxes up there because people didn't
- 14:05Speaker 1: want to go down on the metal and I yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you And what you don't know as an adult is
- 14:10Speaker 1: when you're this suz, you don't you don't slide as easily,
- 14:15Speaker 1: even with a cardboard. I just sort of like slowly
- 14:19Speaker 1: and straight way down this like it was not.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Like a little hamster with their cheeks. Oh me, I
- 14:37Speaker 2: mean your butt cheeks were stuck. Not those cheeks.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Too bad. This isn't a video now I'm doing the
- 14:46Speaker 1: visual cues today. Anyway. Well, hey, do you want to
- 14:51Speaker 1: tell us a little bit about the episode?
- 14:53Speaker 2: I suppose you've been good boys and girls.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Oh you're getting a little sexy with the this morning and.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Gina scratching my shoulder.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Yeah no, when you said you've been good boys and girls,
- 15:05Speaker 1: it felt a little sexy.
- 15:07Speaker 3: No, tell us how not we are boys and girls?
- 15:11Speaker 6: Okay?
- 15:12Speaker 2: Season three, Episode eleven is Three on a Couch The
- 15:16Speaker 2: original airdate December fifth, nineteen eighty seven, directed by Terry
- 15:21Speaker 2: Hughes and written by Jeffrey Farrow and Frederick Weiss, Vincent
- 15:27Speaker 2: and Kristen. What is three on a Couch going to
- 15:29Speaker 2: be about? Best guess?
- 15:33Speaker 3: I hope it's not about two girls one cup. No,
- 15:38Speaker 3: not casting a couch, No, I seems like some drama's
- 15:44Speaker 3: going to go down with somebody and it's going to
- 15:46Speaker 3: be some therapy sessions on a couch going on.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, Kristen, I think they had a tree fall
- 15:54Speaker 4: on the roof. It caused a massive leak. So three
- 15:57Speaker 4: of the ladies have to sleep on the couch because
- 16:00Speaker 4: their rooms are uninhabitable to them that much better.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I mean, we've seen two of them on the one couch.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I can't imagine where the third would go.
- 16:10Speaker 6: It would go, yeah, maybe they sleep sitting up.
- 16:13Speaker 1: So I just want to say that because Vincent is
- 16:17Speaker 1: playing with meatball. Just like right off screen, you look
- 16:21Speaker 1: like you're giving a dirt rudder to a Dutch rudder
- 16:24Speaker 1: to someone. No, I know, I understand news reference.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Yeah I know.
- 16:34Speaker 2: And then you I don't know if they made that up,
- 16:38Speaker 2: but I had never heard that. I was like, I
- 16:41Speaker 2: love it, Kevin. So now you kids come to a consensus.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Who will be the hardest of the four girls for
- 16:50Speaker 2: Aaron to prove is the villain.
- 16:51Speaker 7: Of the episode?
- 16:52Speaker 3: O God, you you go first, Christian, Well, you kids
- 17:01Speaker 3: got to agree.
- 17:02Speaker 2: We have to talk about we can only pick one.
- 17:07Speaker 2: There can only be much like the Highlander. There can
- 17:11Speaker 2: be only one.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I don't know, Dorothy.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Okay, you're thinking Dorothy Rose or Dorothy.
- 17:18Speaker 3: One of these two will be the villain. Dorothy. I means,
- 17:22Speaker 3: how often is Dorothy the villain.
- 17:24Speaker 1: According to these two all the Well, that's the point.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Do you want to pick someone that's not to make
- 17:30Speaker 2: it hard for her?
- 17:31Speaker 3: Okay, that's why. Yeah, yeah, Dorothy is usually this sense
- 17:37Speaker 3: of reason. I would think she wouldn't be I agree.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Okay, so let's do Dorothy, miss Bornac please.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Okay, done? Wrote it down? Locked in? Okay, Sorry, I'm
- 17:53Speaker 1: just having some difficulties here.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Audience, Aaron is having technical difficulties. Please please stand by.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It's less technical and more of it. My little belly
- 18:04Speaker 1: hits my charging thing for my remarkable I had to
- 18:08Speaker 1: slide the cord over. It was just like booping me
- 18:12Speaker 1: right on my tummy and it was gonna bug me.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Certainly.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It's National ceial Day my phone just for me, So
- 18:19Speaker 2: all right.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Well, while we watch episode, Yeah, we're gonna get a
- 18:22Speaker 1: bowl of cereal and we're gonna have you listen to
- 18:24Speaker 1: these commercials and then we'll be back.

- 18:56Speaker 2: Hi, you came back, Welcome back Cotter, Hey everybody?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, hey, well, what did you guys think of
- 19:07Speaker 1: the episode?
- 19:08Speaker 3: I thought it was hilarious.
- 19:09Speaker 2: It was I always enjoy the ones where it's different
- 19:14Speaker 2: mm hmm, not I guess flashbacks to them, but new
- 19:17Speaker 2: to us. Yeah, whatever you want to call that, mini stories.
- 19:21Speaker 1: It is a weird thing because sometimes the flashback shows
- 19:26Speaker 1: have flashbacks, but then sometimes they do these like fake
- 19:30Speaker 1: flashback shows. My favorite before yeah, the the personals ad
- 19:36Speaker 1: is one of my favorite bits of all time.
- 19:41Speaker 2: And give you four dollars.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna kick your ass out, all right.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Here are four dollars, Yeah, Toto, you're Dorothy.
- 19:53Speaker 2: It definitely was more than minimum wage back then.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Right, yeah, oh yeah, minimum wave buck fifty back then
- 20:01Speaker 1: or so in nineteen ninety six was seven dollars seventy.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Five cents an hour. Yeah, that's a lot federal minimum.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Yeah, twenty five in my first job. And yeah I
- 20:18Speaker 4: only made that six two.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I made six seventy five in two. Yeah. Yeah, well
- 20:27Speaker 3: it was also two thousand and four. My first job. Yeah,
- 20:30Speaker 3: well that's that's still sad.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Mine was fast food. What was your guys?
- 20:35Speaker 3: Mine was Hollywood Hollywood video nice video store. Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I worked at a Blockbuster at one point. Yeah, rival, Yeah,
- 20:45Speaker 2: all right.
- 20:46Speaker 1: It seemed like a lot of work to put that
- 20:48Speaker 1: stuff away and fast food when you were done making it,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you got to just walk.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Away, so you go, I kind of see.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Well I did Dairy Queen for three days, Bigger
- 20:58Speaker 1: King for a few months, and then I went over
- 21:00Speaker 1: to the Ice Palace and became a skateguard and worked
- 21:03Speaker 1: in the birthday parties and snack bar area. And then
- 21:07Speaker 1: I went to Disneyland, so I did a whole royal
- 21:09Speaker 1: fast food guest service tour before I went on to adulthood.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I will only work at royalty places.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I worked at Notts as well. So
- 21:20Speaker 1: then I did a theme park thing for a you know,
- 21:22Speaker 1: it's cool, it's cool.
- 21:25Speaker 3: I did the Born shit, I did the electronics from
- 21:28Speaker 3: Hollywood Video to Best Buy to like a representative standing
- 21:31Speaker 3: in best Buy and now I'm still work in tech.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Jesus Christ.
- 21:36Speaker 2: People you're like, don't make eye contact with me. Don't
- 21:39Speaker 2: make yeah exactly.
- 21:40Speaker 1: That was the Apple Store on like Black Friday. I
- 21:43Speaker 1: would be like, how can I not be visible here?
- 21:46Speaker 7: Because I'm visible?
- 21:50Speaker 3: As bad as that is. Best Buy is the worst
- 21:53Speaker 3: because they'll try to send you, sell you a six
- 21:55Speaker 3: dollars warranty on a twenty dollars blender, and we were
- 21:58Speaker 3: forced to do that shit, Oh thank you.
- 22:01Speaker 1: At Michael's, where I briefly worked a few years ago,
- 22:05Speaker 1: we had to try to sell. Every time a warranty
- 22:08Speaker 1: offer popped up in our pos, we had to try
- 22:10Speaker 1: to offer it. And like I would be selling a
- 22:13Speaker 1: twelve dollars photo frame and it would be like, do
- 22:15Speaker 1: you want this eight dollars warranty will replace it, no
- 22:21Speaker 1: questions asked, And I was like, the frames are usually
- 22:24Speaker 1: a buy to get one free. Just leave, don't buy this,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Like I felt like I even though it was my job.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I was like, don't do it.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Yeah, run away.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know what we should do and we
- 22:37Speaker 1: shouldn't run away from some friendly competition.
- 22:41Speaker 2: It's trus friendly.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Friend here.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I just want to get one friendly.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Shito, very much like Blanche in that way, how do
- 23:00Speaker 2: you acknowledge on the prettiest There you go, Aaron, that's
- 23:07Speaker 2: for you, for all the ship she gives you.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Thanks. Yeah, well, yeah, I mean wait till she tells
- 23:12Speaker 1: us that I have zero points the first time?
- 23:14Speaker 2: How many points we all have? Right now?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Christen, Aaron has zero and no one else has buzzed
- 23:22Speaker 1: in yet.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Okay, but Aaron still is zero? All right, Aaron is
- 23:27Speaker 2: negative one.
- 23:30Speaker 1: The limit does not exist.
- 23:33Speaker 6: Aaron's about to get her own.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Okay, guys, there's about to be an opening all the night.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Send your audition tapes to just kidding. All right, here
- 23:46Speaker 1: we go. Are you ready ready? Get those fingers ready
- 23:49Speaker 1: over your butt?
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:51Speaker 1: All right? What is Sophia's idea of a good psychiatrist?
- 23:57Speaker 1: M Chris? No one else even buzzed in.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I didn't know. Oh, buzz it, it makes you feel better.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Ten seconds later, Gina joined us, all right, what is
- 24:12Speaker 1: the answer.
- 24:12Speaker 4: The bartender that pours without a spout?
- 24:18Speaker 6: Agreed?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Right, She's right. Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I was trying to look up lipshits and I missed it.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I feel like that was a nod to Chicago because.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I can't find any reference for it in Chicago. And
- 24:36Speaker 2: the sixthly lip Ships, I know is in Rugrats. The
- 24:39Speaker 2: psychiatrist was lip Ships, but that came later.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yeah you know, lipshits is the name that they use
- 24:48Speaker 1: for the cicero. Yeah, thank you. I couldn't think of that.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I was like the six Merry Murderouses, but I was like,
- 24:56Speaker 1: that's wrong too. Okay, I would have zero points and
- 24:59Speaker 1: I do. Let's move on. Question two. Are you guys ready?
- 25:03Speaker 3: Ready?
- 25:04Speaker 1: What temperature is Dorothy?
- 25:08Speaker 2: How did you guys? She has to finish the question.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so we'll just go and what temperature?
- 25:17Speaker 3: Okay, it's so eager to get at least one right.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Maybe Vincent didn't know. She just finished the question.
- 25:24Speaker 1: It's okay, it's all right, that's fine. But it was
- 25:28Speaker 1: a practice question too, real question too. Okay, what temperature
- 25:32Speaker 1: is Dorothy's fever? Okay? Vincent?
- 25:37Speaker 3: Oh I got it? One of four?
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I think you're supposed to go to the
- 25:41Speaker 2: hospital one four? Are you?
- 25:44Speaker 1: But apparently in this case not really?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Or just drink you know, I don't want to ruin
- 25:49Speaker 2: a question.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I got the right temperature.
- 25:54Speaker 3: You are all right? We go.
- 25:58Speaker 1: What kind of car? Wait?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Reset? But buster?
- 26:07Speaker 7: I know?
- 26:08Speaker 1: And do you know why it's not reset yet because
- 26:11Speaker 1: you fox buzzed in while I was still talking last time,
- 26:13Speaker 1: so I was gonna wait till closer to the end.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Of the that's fair.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I'd like to point out I didn't say anything.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's reset now. But if someone buzzes in
- 26:25Speaker 1: before I'm done, you don't get a point now at all.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I don't care how fast it's new rule. I don't
- 26:31Speaker 1: give a ship. I don't care you loose, God damn it. Okay,
- 26:38Speaker 1: what kind of car do Larry and teenage Aaron both drive?
- 26:45Speaker 8: Mm hmm.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Let me ship here?
- 26:51Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Let me let him have it? Mm hmm.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, because you yelled at him, so I thought
- 26:56Speaker 1: he wasn't gonna.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah, zoomed in on him as he answered.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he has that thing. Yeah, the auto be the
- 27:07Speaker 1: like auto.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Zooeyah, you have it or you had a Labert.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I don't have it anymore. I had it from ninety
- 27:15Speaker 1: six to ninety eight. I had a red Chrysler LeBaron
- 27:21Speaker 1: convertible it was a sexy.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Car, but you know that car.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I uh, some couples, few mostly just like driving around
- 27:32Speaker 1: with the top down Blair in the heater because it
- 27:35Speaker 1: was cold, but we wanted the top down. That was
- 27:38Speaker 1: that was a vibe. All right. Next question, Okay, this
- 27:45Speaker 1: is a finish the line, so it has to be
- 27:48Speaker 1: the exact line. I don't want a paraphrase. I want
- 27:53Speaker 1: you to finish the line. Just because you put your
- 27:56Speaker 1: makeup on with a butter knife doesn't make you blank, Kristen.
- 28:03Speaker 6: Doesn't make you Tammy Baker.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yes, which I was surprised I didn't say Tammy fay Baker.
- 28:08Speaker 6: But yeah, that was weird.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I've never heard anyone use just those two bits. Okay,
- 28:13Speaker 1: point goes to Kristen on that one. Kristin, did you
- 28:16Speaker 1: want to give us an update on the score. I
- 28:18Speaker 1: know we're only a couple in.
- 28:19Speaker 4: But.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Gina has zero points, Ray has zero points. We're tired.
- 28:28Speaker 6: Kristin and Vincent each have two.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I like how you went first because you dared to
- 28:33Speaker 1: stand up to her earlier.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Quiz Queen over here, Yeah, quiz.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Quiz, kind of jot that down. You squared quiz Queen,
- 28:52Speaker 1: which of the this is a multiple choice.
- 28:56Speaker 2: We have to wait for all the choices.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Yes, okay, Which of the following was not an alcohol?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Sophia put in Dorothy's hot Toddy. Was it a Ammorretto
- 29:07Speaker 1: B whiskey, C vodka or d rum vincent soprano Amoretto? Oh,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. That's next. Up was Kristen eighteen milliseconds
- 29:24Speaker 1: behind Rum? Correct, it was Rum.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Remember the one was Amretto and Sana and you said
- 29:31Speaker 2: you had sambucovin.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I love Amtto, A little bit of Ameretto on ice.
- 29:39Speaker 6: I'll just slip on that. It's so good.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I like amoratto an orange juice or amaretto stone sour
- 29:46Speaker 1: with like a splash of sweet and sour in the
- 29:48Speaker 1: oh chef's kiss.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I like coke.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean in non alcohol way. I love
- 29:59Speaker 1: my everyday. Oh, I will say, guys, I did discover
- 30:04Speaker 1: this thing, and maybe I'm just late to the party.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever seen these. These are
- 30:08Speaker 1: called Java socks. There's other brands out there, but it's
- 30:12Speaker 1: like a neoprene sleeve that keeps your drink from sweating,
- 30:16Speaker 1: like when you have like a cup that's not a
- 30:18Speaker 1: double wall insulated type.
- 30:20Speaker 6: Thing, like a beer cozy.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It keeps the Yeah, it insulates for it. It's like
- 30:25Speaker 1: a beer coozy. But it also like if you go
- 30:27Speaker 1: to like a Starbucks and you get like a ventie
- 30:30Speaker 1: and then your hands wet, your desk is wet. These
- 30:33Speaker 1: fit right over all the like major cups. I'm obsessed.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I tried to get my mom to use one and
- 30:38Speaker 1: she was like, it's slippery with my kitten paws, and
- 30:41Speaker 1: I was like.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Wow, it's a cup condom.
- 30:43Speaker 2: It's like a McDLT. It keeps the hot side. Huh.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Its Jesus right.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Well on that note, we're just gonna move to ruin it. No,
- 30:58Speaker 1: you didn't ruin it. You actually gave a a great
- 31:00Speaker 1: segue because you were talking about something hot and uh,
- 31:03Speaker 1: speaking of why did Dorothy's date Mike burn down a
- 31:08Speaker 1: diner in Arkansas?
- 31:11Speaker 3: I have this too, Chris.
- 31:13Speaker 6: The eggs were running.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Oh do you hear that?
- 31:21Speaker 3: I wrote that down. I wrote it down, but I forgot.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I was like his egg frustration.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah, this is this is a heated rivalry in a
- 31:35Speaker 1: non gay hockey way.
- 31:37Speaker 2: It's all right, non gay hockey way.
- 31:43Speaker 1: All right, next question, who is the first person to
- 31:47Speaker 1: answer Dorothy's ad. H oh man, you guys were all
- 31:51Speaker 1: really close that time. Uh, Kristen was first, though, What
- 31:55Speaker 1: was your answer?
- 31:56Speaker 6: Toto?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Okay, yep, that's right, all right. Vinton's getting pouty. I
- 32:06Speaker 1: don't know if anyone else here.
- 32:09Speaker 3: He agreed. I agree, No, he said, don't make a
- 32:15Speaker 3: rivalry nothing.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Everyone is Kristen's rebel.
- 32:20Speaker 6: It's okay.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's people come on the show just to like off
- 32:24Speaker 1: to the theater.
- 32:24Speaker 2: We need like an animation, Christian.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Let's more disappointed in myself.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Let's rename this like win Benstein's money, Like will we
- 32:36Speaker 1: win Kristen's pride?
- 32:37Speaker 2: When quiz Queen's pride?
- 32:41Speaker 6: All right?
- 32:42Speaker 1: According to the personal ad, how much is Dorothy charging
- 32:45Speaker 1: per hour?
- 32:47Speaker 3: Ship? Before you finished?
- 32:52Speaker 1: Oh?
- 32:52Speaker 6: Did they?
- 32:53Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:54Speaker 6: He did?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Do I get here on that one?
- 32:57Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 32:58Speaker 1: It's Gina eight dollars an hour? Yep, my bad, that's okay,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I got one except ye, all right, just just a reminder,
- 33:13Speaker 1: I know, don't do that, okay.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Finger slipped.
- 33:19Speaker 2: She said, I think I heard her majesty pulling out there.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Yeah, unless it was now.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Laying out is our producer joining us?
- 33:32Speaker 1: She tap danced her way down the hall. All right,
- 33:36Speaker 1: next question, speaking of speaking of our producer, Sorry my glasses.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Uh what is a girl kan knacking? Oh, too slow, Kristen.
- 33:54Speaker 6: It's when dog do turns white.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Yes, or in general, somebody you don't want to share
- 34:03Speaker 1: your hood and caggles with. Yes, but yes, you get
- 34:07Speaker 1: the point. I wrote down both in case.
- 34:10Speaker 4: Which I didn't want to over elaborate because I wasn't
- 34:13Speaker 4: sure you're okay.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I did google it and not a real thing, not
- 34:18Speaker 3: a real wording. The g knockin not a real word.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I got some trivia girka knocking. I think I said
- 34:30Speaker 1: it wrong the first time. Girkanknock and girk knocking girkin.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Yeah, because there's like an extra n and there gir
- 34:39Speaker 6: knock And.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I think that's it's ladies and gentlemen to home. It's
- 34:45Speaker 1: g e r c h A n A c h
- 34:48Speaker 1: e n g kan knacken gir kanknachen.
- 34:52Speaker 3: That's the actual spelling from the close captions.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Oh okay, I don't know.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That's what Hulu tells me.
- 34:59Speaker 2: It is like of the script.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I mean, that's what we're the word we're trying to say.
- 35:04Speaker 1: If you have all the old Golden Girls scripts, guys,
- 35:06Speaker 1: and you want to give them to me?
- 35:07Speaker 4: Do it?
- 35:09Speaker 3: Yeah? Be a friend?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah, well, thank you for being a friend.
- 35:15Speaker 7: She said.
- 35:16Speaker 2: The thing she did, Oh my god, blew out my earballs.
- 35:26Speaker 3: You woke up.
- 35:28Speaker 1: M h.
- 35:30Speaker 2: I see movement, blurry movement.
- 35:34Speaker 6: She's so fast.
- 35:36Speaker 3: She's taking it up now, I don't know, tell us what.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she's making clogging, settling in on the couch currently
- 35:49Speaker 1: here I can unblur for a second. This makes for
- 35:54Speaker 1: great audio. Obviously she is on the couch herself, or
- 36:00Speaker 1: she got scared.
- 36:01Speaker 4: She has.
- 36:03Speaker 1: She has a bean bag, and then another step in
- 36:05Speaker 1: front of the bean bags. So it's like Mario double jump.
- 36:10Speaker 1: There she is, look at her. Yeah, that's my life now, guys.
- 36:16Speaker 1: It's very glamorous to be an amateur podcast person. Just
- 36:22Speaker 1: see you know, an Asian. Yeah, if you're envisioning the
- 36:26Speaker 1: luxurious lives that we all live.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Spoiler alert, we don't even make eight dollars an hour.
- 36:31Speaker 2: You go, yeah, I'm an I don't even make no no, no,
- 36:38Speaker 2: Vincent just left.
- 36:41Speaker 1: All right, Well, speaking of white dog do let's move
- 36:44Speaker 1: on to the next question. Why do Blanche and Rose
- 36:48Speaker 1: climb into bed with Dorothy while she is trying to study.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Mm hm oh fuck, Vincent soprano, he's quick, all right,
- 36:57Speaker 1: what's the answer.
- 36:58Speaker 3: They are scared of aliens, correct, and not the illegal kind,
- 37:03Speaker 3: the space kind.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one of those times we had one of
- 37:06Speaker 1: those jokes in a yeah, yeah, why does oh let
- 37:15Speaker 1: me reset this real quick? Sorry, see I almost forgot,
- 37:18Speaker 1: but I'll catch myself.
- 37:21Speaker 3: I didn't say anything.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Well, Vincent, you were probably already trying to buzz in.
- 37:25Speaker 1: That's why I couldn't.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I won't it work?
- 37:30Speaker 1: Oh my god? Why was Sophia afraid of the movie alien?
- 37:35Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Ok, it didn't even take it.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Uh oh shit, oh because of Sigourney Weaver. I don't funk.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I would say you have to be more specific, but
- 37:53Speaker 2: she's the question master.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I do think you need to be more specific than
- 37:57Speaker 1: just because Sigourney Weaver, though, I like that. That's a
- 38:01Speaker 1: half sentence.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Kristin, wait your fucking turn, Chris, she got you.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I can see that. Your next Kristen, you're sixty five
- 38:10Speaker 1: milliseconds behind.
- 38:12Speaker 3: God something about No, it's not about eating dogs.
- 38:17Speaker 1: You're not You're not wrong, but you're not giving us
- 38:20Speaker 1: the whole answer.
- 38:20Speaker 3: So because the legal aliens were eating dogs? No, no, fine,
- 38:26Speaker 3: all right, give it a Christen.
- 38:28Speaker 4: All right, Kristen, this Sigourney Weavers shouldn't go without makeup.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Ah, it was a your ugly joke.
- 38:37Speaker 2: She is not.
- 38:38Speaker 1: She's not. I love her. She's got like a more
- 38:41Speaker 1: like hard look to her, so like I get I
- 38:45Speaker 1: in the eighties we were saying that. But she's not ugly.
- 38:49Speaker 2: She's just not soft for that third movie and I
- 38:53Speaker 2: thought she looked good.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Okay, so Kristen has that, Kristin, do you want to
- 38:58Speaker 1: catch us up on the score while I roll on
- 39:00Speaker 1: my bed.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I'm winning.
- 39:02Speaker 4: So Aaron has zero points, Gina has one, Vincent has three,
- 39:06Speaker 4: and Kristen has seven.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Fuck you supposed have the lowest amount of points, right,
- 39:13Speaker 2: I'm winning?
- 39:14Speaker 3: All right?
- 39:15Speaker 1: If Vincent gets every question right from this point forward,
- 39:20Speaker 1: he could still win. Yeah right, all right, Well let's
- 39:25Speaker 1: let's see.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Don't have a chance.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Why is Sophia drawing a line on the milk of
- 39:31Speaker 1: magnesium bottle, Vincent.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Because the gardener might be drinking it?
- 39:38Speaker 1: Yeah, she says she thinks the gardener is sneaking swigs.
- 39:41Speaker 1: All right, Vincent gets a point thanks for waiting until
- 39:47Speaker 1: I finished the question this time, super appreciate it.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Kristen was fifteen me Gina, Gina, that's both both
- 39:58Speaker 3: are still crazy.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Okay, next question, get ready? Everybody? Does Pepperoni swim up stream?
- 40:12Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know how we're supposed to answer Kristin, Yes,
- 40:21Speaker 2: are we being literal? And I'm sure what she's looking for?
- 40:24Speaker 1: He well, it was It's not a finish the line exactly,
- 40:28Speaker 1: but that was swim up Yeah, I guess, yeah, yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 1: the answer is it does it did? Once was what
- 40:38Speaker 1: Sophia is like. But yeah, so yeah, okay, that was.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Too short and funny of a question to answer it appropriately.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Do you have more on that one?
- 40:50Speaker 3: The pepperoni is missing and something about.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Count on that I don't know.
- 40:59Speaker 2: I know Pepperoni land meeting, but this time it was
- 41:03Speaker 2: I didn't know if you were looking for that?
- 41:06Speaker 3: Do you write the whole script?
- 41:10Speaker 6: I can't.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I can't say that to.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Be fair because you're new to this show. This is
- 41:15Speaker 1: one of my last technical quizzes.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Okay, yes, we didn't get about a painting.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Fuck you the painting and I heard her say there's
- 41:29Speaker 1: a tree in that painting, and I went, oh, poor Kristen.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I didn't ask that this time.
- 41:33Speaker 2: But that's there's words on the screen.
- 41:35Speaker 1: All right, here you go. I'm going to go on
- 41:38Speaker 1: with the quiz because a couple more left. What is
- 41:43Speaker 1: the psychiatrist's name, Tina rules.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Doctor Ashley?
- 41:50Speaker 4: It is.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Okay, point Gina at that point, bitch, Oh I did.
- 41:58Speaker 6: It's been marked.
- 42:02Speaker 1: It's already been marked.
- 42:04Speaker 2: It's Albirdie been baron.
- 42:06Speaker 1: What was doctor Ashley's advice to the women?
- 42:10Speaker 4: Mm hmm, Kristen incompatible save the money on moving expenses. Yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 4: save your money for moving expenses.
- 42:21Speaker 2: She has a button presser. I think she's cheating. I'd
- 42:23Speaker 2: like this looked in.
- 42:25Speaker 6: Just my buttons.
- 42:31Speaker 2: It's got one of those like Nintendo controllers where you
- 42:33Speaker 2: can put on auto.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Maybe she has a giant button that plugs in the USB.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Right, oh yeah, that's what we need. Button Uh no,
- 42:46Speaker 1: but like the kind of have on Jeopardy, like the
- 42:50Speaker 1: little oh yeah, yeah, All right, here we go. Are
- 42:54Speaker 1: you ready? This is the last question And the last
- 42:56Speaker 1: question is one of something that I do sometimes that
- 43:00Speaker 1: it's quite devilish. But last line, what is it, Kristen?
- 43:08Speaker 6: I have to go in there for the whipped cream anyway.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Yeah, by blank, I was blanking.
- 43:17Speaker 1: All right. Well, I think we all know who won,
- 43:19Speaker 1: but can you tell us the score?
- 43:22Speaker 6: Aaron zero?
- 43:23Speaker 4: Yeah, Tina, Tina too vincent for Kristen tenth.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I'm just happy to get four.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Honestly, you did good, you were You did much better
- 43:34Speaker 1: than some of our guesstizing.
- 43:35Speaker 2: You know now that she won, she's nice.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, wait till you come back for next week's show.
- 43:48Speaker 3: When I win the game.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Oh no, Queen is a ben appeased.
- 43:56Speaker 1: You make it sound like she's like living under a
- 43:59Speaker 1: castle and like a engine somewhere like und I must
- 44:04Speaker 1: win the quiz.
- 44:07Speaker 2: As a way to stop their fingers from finging.
- 44:12Speaker 8: Uh.
- 44:12Speaker 1: And just in honor of our our honorary Blanche, I
- 44:17Speaker 1: just want to say, oh yeah, we can't do it,
- 44:23Speaker 1: like James, No one can.
- 44:25Speaker 2: We can.
- 44:27Speaker 1: They sent him a picture of me last night and
- 44:30Speaker 1: I I had my hand on my forehead and I swooning,
- 44:36Speaker 1: and I said, but I am lay tired, and he said, okay,
- 44:40Speaker 1: so take a nap and then fire the missiles, and I.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Went, perfect, you know it. He's perfect. He's just perfect.
- 44:49Speaker 1: So James, h you're probably listening to this or maybe not.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I don't know, but we love you, but we also
- 44:54Speaker 1: love our guest Vincent.
- 44:57Speaker 3: I love you guys too, and been I think.
- 45:00Speaker 1: He loves trivia. So would you like to tell us
- 45:03Speaker 1: about the episode? Jeane?
- 45:04Speaker 3: Okay?
- 45:06Speaker 2: Well, Philip Sterling played doctor Ashley Uh. He was a
- 45:10Speaker 2: Broadway actor in Broadway Bound and Summer Three. He also
- 45:16Speaker 2: played Blanches therapist in End of a Curse as a
- 45:19Speaker 2: different psychiatrist.
- 45:22Speaker 3: M Yes.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I was like yeah. He was like, you're too beautiful
- 45:31Speaker 1: to be old, and she was like, oh call me yeah,
- 45:34Speaker 1: all right, sorry, God, just remember.
- 45:36Speaker 2: That Terry Willis played Carl, but he called himself Toto.
- 45:42Speaker 2: He was a founding member of the Magic Theater of
- 45:44Speaker 2: San Francisco and he was on Days of Alarves. Now
- 45:48Speaker 2: this is a weird, interesting one. They credit John C.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Muscaff as Jerry, but it says he's credited erroneously and
- 45:58Speaker 2: that he's not in the episode. And I couldn't find.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Fred's second guy that comes in with money.
- 46:06Speaker 2: That's what I thought, but I can't find that. So
- 46:11Speaker 2: there may be errors on this. The accreditation page interest
- 46:16Speaker 2: and there's no credit I could find for the father
- 46:18Speaker 2: ROSSI maybe because he didn't have lines.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Probably, Oh, he might have just been like an extra Yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Yeah, carl Or Toto. Was this the other plumber from
- 46:30Speaker 2: Second Motherhood? Not the mister haha guy, but the other one.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Sophia mentions Designing Women, which is set in Atlanta, which
- 46:39Speaker 2: is where Blanche is from. So she's totally making fun
- 46:41Speaker 2: of her accent.
- 46:43Speaker 6: Dog poo.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Turning white can be from having excessive calcium in their diet.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Is everything else degrades? Let's see they mentioned missus Simpson.
- 46:55Speaker 2: King Edward the Eighth abdicated the British throne to Mary
- 46:58Speaker 2: Wallace Simpson in a American Socialize Big Scandal. Well, yes,
- 47:04Speaker 2: Tammy Baker, Tammy Fay Baker was a televangelist that had
- 47:07Speaker 2: wild makeup.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Sure, there was a brief time that there was a
- 47:12Speaker 1: Broadway play about that that one of my favorite Broadway performers,
- 47:15Speaker 1: Michael Serafriso, is in, and my folks went and saw.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I wasn't able to go because of work, but my
- 47:21Speaker 1: folks went and saw it. And initially when I tried
- 47:23Speaker 1: to reach out to him to be on the episode,
- 47:26Speaker 1: I forgot that she got brought up in this but
- 47:30Speaker 1: I should have been like, no, wait, there's a Tammy
- 47:32Speaker 1: Fay Baker joke. Come be anyway, Sorry, that was just
- 47:36Speaker 1: a look at my life. Continue with your trivia that
- 47:38Speaker 1: matters to everyone else.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Just a couple more. They mentioned Florence Henderson, she was
- 47:43Speaker 2: the mom on the Brady Bunch. They mentioned milk of magnesia,
- 47:47Speaker 2: which is a laxative if you couldn't figure it out
- 47:49Speaker 2: from the context, and saying it was the worst of times.
- 47:54Speaker 2: It was the worst of times, as a parody of
- 47:55Speaker 2: the opening line of Tale of Two Cities. And that's
- 47:59Speaker 2: all that I have for your children.
- 48:02Speaker 7: Wonderful.
- 48:03Speaker 2: So now miss Aaron will tell us about what was
- 48:05Speaker 2: it Dorothy being the villain?
- 48:07Speaker 7: Mmm hmmmmmm mmmmmmmm mmm.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm ready go Okay, So first of all, right
- 48:16Speaker 1: off the bat, I mean they're barely in therapy, like
- 48:20Speaker 1: they barely sat down, and Dorothy tells Rose to shut up.
- 48:23Speaker 1: That's very fucking rude. And all of her roommates tell her,
- 48:30Speaker 1: all two of them, but still they both are like,
- 48:33Speaker 1: you are terrible to live with. She won't go on
- 48:36Speaker 1: a date with Mike, so the Blanche can go out
- 48:39Speaker 1: with Larry. Wow. I highlighted this one, This next one.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I highlighted this next one. Are you ready? Her outfit?
- 48:53Speaker 1: That's why she's a villain in this episode. That fucking
- 48:55Speaker 1: coat was awful. That was a fucking terrible coat.
- 48:59Speaker 3: It was so bad.
- 49:00Speaker 2: That feels like her like we've seen it.
- 49:02Speaker 1: I feel like we might have. But she took it
- 49:04Speaker 1: off when they got to the kitchen like she had
- 49:06Speaker 1: home and was like, I can't believe I wore this again.
- 49:11Speaker 1: She calls Rose an idiot after she made Rose go
- 49:15Speaker 1: down to the paper and put the ad in for her.
- 49:17Speaker 1: If you want it done right, do it yourself, bitch.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Don't pick on Rose.
- 49:21Speaker 2: You know her capabilities.
- 49:23Speaker 1: She yells at a priest. She did, and then she
- 49:27Speaker 1: opted for the Hail Mary, which is the easier of
- 49:30Speaker 1: the prayers. You should have done, like act to Contrician
- 49:33Speaker 1: or our Father. Those are harder.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Was she wrong for yelling at the priest though?
- 49:38Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 49:41Speaker 3: Maybe the priest.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Yeah, she doesn't like Roses made up words which we
- 49:48Speaker 1: all know are delightful.
- 49:50Speaker 2: They are delightful.
- 49:52Speaker 1: And then, and here's the worst one, when her two
- 49:55Speaker 1: roommates are terrified because they've just seen Alien, she throws
- 49:59Speaker 1: them out of her bed. You could study with two
- 50:02Speaker 1: people sitting next to you quietly. You don't have to
- 50:04Speaker 1: be a bitch, Dorothy, So for that reason, you are
- 50:08Speaker 1: the villain.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Wait, I'd like to go back to she's a villain
- 50:11Speaker 2: because she won't date a guy while she's passed out
- 50:14Speaker 2: with the hunter four fevers.
- 50:17Speaker 6: I mean Blanche is the villain for making her sit
- 50:20Speaker 6: through the date.
- 50:21Speaker 2: No, wait, I want to hear this lot.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Well.
- 50:24Speaker 1: I mean Blanche had to crawl on this guy's car
- 50:27Speaker 1: and write her name on his window with her high heel.
- 50:32Speaker 1: We've already had several episodes where Blanche feels old and
- 50:35Speaker 1: useless and so and on the heels of little Span
- 50:39Speaker 1: just telling her what a terrible person she was and
- 50:44Speaker 1: leaving her for a young hottie. I just feel like
- 50:48Speaker 1: Dorothy could have just made an effort.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Or go to the house consciousness and make a fucking effort.
- 50:57Speaker 6: Next time you have one hundred and four fever, I'm going.
- 50:59Speaker 2: To make you this is my favorite villain ever. Look,
- 51:04Speaker 2: I when I outlandish.
- 51:06Speaker 1: When I had COVID and it complicated to like pretty intense,
- 51:12Speaker 1: like bronchial infection, I still had to go to my
- 51:16Speaker 1: office Christmas party because it was like a mandatory zoom thing,
- 51:20Speaker 1: So you have to go on your date, Dorothy, That's
- 51:23Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 51:24Speaker 3: Wait, you had to go to your office Christmas party
- 51:27Speaker 3: for a zoom thing.
- 51:29Speaker 1: It was like a it was like a virtual.
- 51:33Speaker 2: The same thing.
- 51:34Speaker 3: So you were at home.
- 51:37Speaker 1: But I had to like put on an ugly Christmas
- 51:39Speaker 1: sweater and like look presentable on camera for work people. Dorothy.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I hated everybody. I was the least team building.
- 51:49Speaker 2: No different, Gus.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I don't know what's up with you. But we'll be
- 52:01Speaker 1: holding open auditions ahead, yeah.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Because I'm awake normally record, I'm not awake yet.
- 52:08Speaker 1: We'll be holding open auditions for.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Hey, can I apply.
- 52:15Speaker 1: First time applicants only?
- 52:18Speaker 2: All right, I'll be Rose and she'll be Switch.
- 52:23Speaker 6: She gets an application from Baylor Farley, it's.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Gonna be hard, and then then the show is going
- 52:32Speaker 1: to be like.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Baylor, what do you think the villain is?
- 52:41Speaker 7: Obviously I would be on the show instead.
- 52:46Speaker 2: You gotta get yourdressed out of bed though.
- 52:48Speaker 7: Okay, let's calm down.
- 52:50Speaker 4: My gosh, could you imagine the show with Aaron doing
- 52:53Speaker 4: all the voices, all the parts.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Someone that played a played a half man woman character
- 53:00Speaker 1: for a time at Knots, and I had to routinely
- 53:03Speaker 1: talk to myself and the crowd. I know I'm capable
- 53:06Speaker 1: of it, but i'll tell you what, it is actually
- 53:08Speaker 1: exhausting to like write your own Like what I do
- 53:12Speaker 1: with Abby is nothing compared to what I had to
- 53:15Speaker 1: do with that because I had to have a different
- 53:17Speaker 1: like physicality for half my body. Yeah, I gotta know,
- 53:24Speaker 1: I can't remember now. Each side had a different so oh.
- 53:29Speaker 1: The concept of the character was it was split down
- 53:32Speaker 1: the middle, and so I always had this like line
- 53:35Speaker 1: of stitches and like crusted blood down the middle. And
- 53:38Speaker 1: then one side was like a male clown and the
- 53:41Speaker 1: other side was like a beautiful lady. And I had
- 53:45Speaker 1: two separate names and it was fun, but it was hard.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Some my guy voice was like what what are you
- 53:51Speaker 1: always wandering about them girls? And then my was my
- 53:58Speaker 1: like whiny girl's side, and switch between those voices. Now
- 54:03Speaker 1: I had like a little diary, and I would be
- 54:04Speaker 1: like I'd flirt with like a boy with like my
- 54:07Speaker 1: pretty side, and then I'd turn and be.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Like leave her alone, she's a jerk.
- 54:12Speaker 1: And the people were like the fuck.
- 54:14Speaker 2: And then this one have a training card, Dear, diary.
- 54:18Speaker 8: This guy broke up.
- 54:20Speaker 1: With me, and I'd cry, and then the boy'd be like,
- 54:24Speaker 1: why'd you go to do that?
- 54:25Speaker 2: Now we gotta live with this jerk.
- 54:27Speaker 3: God, she's crying.
- 54:30Speaker 2: I would have been my favorite character if I was
- 54:32Speaker 2: a kid. There.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Oh God, I did it. I did shit like that
- 54:35Speaker 1: all night and it was tired. I did that character
- 54:37Speaker 1: for like four or five seasons for them.
- 54:41Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 54:42Speaker 1: There's a lot of work. And I had to custom
- 54:45Speaker 1: make my wig each year because your wig gets real
- 54:48Speaker 1: skanky skanky after thirty nights, you know, and so you're
- 54:51Speaker 1: not reusing your wig. So I had to keep buying
- 54:54Speaker 1: a long wig and cutting and snelling with boyside, and
- 54:57Speaker 1: then I would steam curls into the girl's sides. Are
- 55:02Speaker 1: this beautiful curly hair, And then on the other side,
- 55:05Speaker 1: it was just like crazy, God, I love this. I'll
- 55:08Speaker 1: find a picture of it somewhere, please, hello, please.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Do Yeah, and look where all that talent led.
- 55:13Speaker 1: You to this beautiful podcast you find folks, Yep, yeah,
