Green Day dropped a surprise 16-song live set at the afterparty of their new movie Nimrods in LA, playing deep cuts like “Going To Pasalacqua” and “Only Of You” alongside fan favorites and tracks from the film. The trio celebrated their long-awaited cinematic debut, thanking fans old and new and dedicating the movie to them. Earlier this year, they also surprised fans at Comic-Con with an ice cream truck performance of “Basket Case.” Inspired by the band, Nimrods follows fictional punk trio Analog Dogs — and now, Green Day’s new 24/7 YouTube stream GDTV is streaming archival footage…
