- 0:12Speaker 1: Frogo morning.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Megan, Good morning.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I don't know about that chili word you just used.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I mean, I think we can get a little deeper
- 0:18Speaker 2: into We stuck into cold, haven't we cold? Yeah, it's
- 0:21Speaker 2: in the thirties. Yeah, thirty four is what I'm seeing
- 0:24Speaker 2: on TV. And I was driving in I saw thirty
- 0:26Speaker 2: eight on the on the truck.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I had thirty five on month. Oh you had
- 0:30Speaker 1: thirty five yeah, way out the west side.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh, wow, today it is. Man, it's a cold one.
- 0:36Speaker 2: But hopefully this is it. Hopefully.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Don't ask me. No, I'm not okay, I'm not. I
- 0:43Speaker 1: noticed you didn't know.
- 0:44Speaker 3: We can't rely on your weather predictions anymore.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It is not the way, is not the answer. My
- 0:49Speaker 1: trick hip doesn't work. I gave up my top hat.
- 0:53Speaker 1: The website business cards have been shredded. They canceled the podcast,
- 0:57Speaker 1: Ye mintern Accouterment a Being a King, Welcome to Retirement.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Oh it is a cold one, but it's gonna we'll
- 1:06Speaker 2: see sixty for a high today, back into the eighties
- 1:08Speaker 2: by the weekend, though, of course.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It is man, we took a drastic jump from eighty
- 1:11Speaker 1: two to forty to thirty five yesterday. It was like
- 1:14Speaker 1: a thirty five degree change in twelve hours. It has
- 1:19Speaker 1: been yeah, forty five right, forty five degree change. Forty
- 1:22Speaker 1: five degree change, that's right. It was from the eighties
- 1:23Speaker 1: to the thirties. Yeah, forty five degree difference between Monday
- 1:26Speaker 1: and this morning.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I can't keep up with it. It's like hot freezing,
- 1:29Speaker 4: hot freezing.
- 1:31Speaker 1: That's March and Jacks. Though it is here, it is,
- 1:34Speaker 1: this is really nothing new.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Every year we always kind of get upset about it
- 1:38Speaker 2: and we're like, I can't believe this is happening, right, That's.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Why I was every year such a dufe as to
- 1:42Speaker 1: go and it's not coming back, because it always does.
- 1:44Speaker 3: It's kind of like a little treat.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Though.
- 1:46Speaker 4: When you do get those nice eighty degree days, especially
- 1:49Speaker 4: when they're on the weekend, I'm like, oh, yeah, I'll
- 1:51Speaker 4: take a cold Tuesday if that means Saturday and Sunday
- 1:54Speaker 4: and nice.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yesterday, I was on a walk and I was saying
- 1:57Speaker 2: to Lisa and my wife. I'm like, well, I think
- 1:58Speaker 2: this is it, this will be it. She's like, stop,
- 2:01Speaker 2: you say that all the time. It's never it, like
- 2:03Speaker 2: not think this is really it? Like mother nature gives
- 2:05Speaker 2: us that one last breath of cold air and then
- 2:08Speaker 2: it's over.
- 2:08Speaker 1: At some point it has to end. I mean, at
- 2:10Speaker 1: some point it's going to be one hundred, so I will.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Did you do any Saint Patrick's Day eating at all? That?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Y'all eat any traditional foods at all? Yesterday? I did not?
- 2:20Speaker 1: What do we have for dinner last night? Where did
- 2:22Speaker 1: we go? We went somewhere? Oh you did? We went
- 2:25Speaker 1: to I can't even remember what we did for dinner.
- 2:28Speaker 1: That's so wild. While you're pondering, Megan, did you eat
- 2:32Speaker 1: at Colhynes? Did you eat something fun at col Haynes?
- 2:34Speaker 1: We were out there yesterday. It was so fun.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Yeah, one of those like Philly cheese steaks.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It was so nothing says double that traditional Irish. It
- 2:44Speaker 1: was corn beef Friday? Was that a Philly cheese steak? Here?
- 2:46Speaker 3: I don't know. I have no idea.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Corn beef corn beef cheese steak as well?
- 2:49Speaker 3: Oh that might have been why it was so good then.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool. Did you did you remember where you
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I remember getting in the truck with Lisa last night,
- 2:57Speaker 2: but I don't remember where we went.
- 2:59Speaker 3: What kind do you remember? What kind?
- 3:02Speaker 2: No?
- 3:03Speaker 1: This is so bad.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I could tell you all play from a Florida Gator
- 3:06Speaker 2: game twelve years ago. Yeah, but I cannot tell you
- 3:10Speaker 2: what we did for dinner last night.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Oh, my goodness is crazy. This is so wid While
- 3:14Speaker 1: you're pondering still, Jill made Uh so she han't We
- 3:17Speaker 1: had cabbage?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Oh?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yes, she just made some potatoes, just roasted some potatoes.
- 3:20Speaker 1: So we just had some Irish, a little bit of
- 3:23Speaker 1: touch of Ireland. It was good. I can't stretch anymoreus
- 3:28Speaker 1: Froggy can't remember. I was just remembered. What was it?
- 3:30Speaker 1: What did Chipotle last night? Oh? Chipotle? You went to
- 3:35Speaker 1: the Irish That's why you couldn't remember Irish bowl at
- 3:39Speaker 1: Oh Chipotle.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I don't know why I could never remember what we
- 3:41Speaker 2: did for dinner last night. I felt like such a dummy.
- 3:43Speaker 2: That's funny, but I just remembered. Let's get into magna.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Three things. Megan hopefully knows three things and doesn't have
- 3:48Speaker 2: to try to remember them.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Well as long as you asked me for three and
- 3:52Speaker 4: not four, then we're okay, We're good. The Jacksonville Zoo
- 3:55Speaker 4: has this new exhibit that's up. It's called Dinosauria, and
- 3:58Speaker 4: it looks really cool because it's these huge life sized
- 4:01Speaker 4: dinosaurs so the kids can go and check them out
- 4:05Speaker 4: in their full size I mean, they look crazy. They've
- 4:08Speaker 4: got t Rex's and all of our favorites, Stegosaurus.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I remember being four years old and going to a
- 4:15Speaker 1: dinosaur exhibit and just being the coolest thing ever. Yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 1: I still have that memory.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Yes, a Saint Augustine Sing Out Loud Festival isn't going
- 4:22Speaker 4: to be happening this year. Next year it will come back,
- 4:25Speaker 4: so it's not permanently gone, but they are making a
- 4:27Speaker 4: big change. They'll be hosting it in May instead of September.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And even though it's.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Not happening this year, there will still be local free
- 4:36Speaker 4: yeah artist performances going.
- 4:38Speaker 3: On throughout the year.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah, they're gonna do. The Festival's gonna happen. They won't
- 4:42Speaker 2: have the big headlining weekend this year.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Right. The reason is because they said the hurricane insurance
- 4:47Speaker 1: was a half a million dollars for the hurricane insurance
- 4:50Speaker 1: to get it in September. Yeah, because of all the
- 4:52Speaker 1: setup and everything has to go on. So they're going
- 4:54Speaker 1: to move it to May. So it'll start in twenty
- 4:56Speaker 1: twenty seven, so this year we won't have the big weekend.
- 4:59Speaker 1: They'll still be the first more where.
- 5:00Speaker 2: They do like local acts, A lot of local acts,
- 5:02Speaker 2: hundreds of local life is that, but they're moving the
- 5:03Speaker 2: main end to outside a hurricane season, which I don't
- 5:07Speaker 2: blame them. Good for them, I don't blame them if
- 5:08Speaker 2: it's going to cost them that much.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yep.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Ferd Indina Beach has been nominated for USA Today's Reader
- 5:14Speaker 4: Choice Awards for the Best Historic small Town. So if
- 5:18Speaker 4: you want to vote for a friend in a beach,
- 5:20Speaker 4: get on there and cast your vote.
- 5:22Speaker 3: That's three things you need to.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Know, all right, if you're up this early, you got
- 5:25Speaker 2: to call us and tell us one thing. Why you up?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Call us and tell us that right now. Nine oh four,
- 5:30Speaker 2: three eight eight thirty six at ninety nine. While you call,
- 5:33Speaker 2: we'll get a quote check on your early Chili Wednesday
- 5:35Speaker 2: ride in.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Once again, you don't want to get an accident
- 5:37Speaker 1: and have to go outside and talk to ninety five
- 5:40Speaker 1: at two o six that's down a sa wqyk Froggie,
- 5:43Speaker 1: John and Megan. It's a big show and good to
- 5:45Speaker 1: be with you for your Wednesday.
- 5:47Speaker 2: It was a good day yesterday at Cole Haydenes. It
- 5:50Speaker 2: was been a good time, big old crowd. Oh my gosh,
- 5:53Speaker 2: I mean we were there. We got there at ten o'clock.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It was packed and it just got busier while we
- 5:58Speaker 2: were there.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It didn't it got warmer, so it got busier outside
- 6:01Speaker 1: too if you drove by, and it wasn't busy outside
- 6:03Speaker 1: because it was forty it was only still forty degrees
- 6:06Speaker 1: out there.
- 6:06Speaker 2: When they opened up the windows inside at the bar,
- 6:08Speaker 2: I was like, oh, I'm going to go to the
- 6:09Speaker 2: back of the restaurant now because it's a little cold.
- 6:11Speaker 4: It was getting chilly, but it was so cool. They
- 6:13Speaker 4: had like dancers come out and later.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Patrick himself was there.
- 6:18Speaker 4: It was yes and I saw that they had like
- 6:21Speaker 4: drummers and stuff.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Later we saw bagpipe players.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We did, We saw the bagpipe guy. We saw Jordan
- 6:26Speaker 1: from my first times, our friend Jordan ye Hickerson there
- 6:29Speaker 1: did the show there and that was a lot of fun.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It was great to meet a lot of listeners, so
- 6:33Speaker 1: we sure appreciate you coming out and hanging out.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It really was a good time. I saw somebody back
- 6:37Speaker 2: into somebody else's cars I was leaving. I'm like, oh no,
- 6:40Speaker 2: they stopped though. They stopped and and we're trying to
- 6:43Speaker 2: contact the person.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean that parking lot is tight. Yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 1: it's a tight part.
- 6:47Speaker 2: It's a tight squeeze. And there was a lot of
- 6:49Speaker 2: people there. I park at the theater and walk.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That's what I did. I did parks all did Megan too?
- 6:54Speaker 1: We all parts on the other side.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, well only because it was full. I
- 6:57Speaker 4: saw there was one space open.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Did you see that person that they would be like
- 7:01Speaker 1: half in the other spot and half like oh good,
- 7:05Speaker 1: that one's Oh no. The reason I.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Saw you drive over there, I thought you beat me
- 7:09Speaker 4: to it, So I was like, okay, nope, But I
- 7:12Speaker 4: wasn't thinking my truck smaller than yours.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I might have been able to diny in door digging
- 7:17Speaker 1: to your truck. You don't want to, No, no, I don't.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Let's get into on Mega's Music City didn't What is
- 7:21Speaker 1: going on in Nashville.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Close Windell's opening a walk on sports bar location in
- 7:26Speaker 4: Nashville off of Broadway, which is cool.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Some variety, it is cool.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I love walk Ons. I go to the one in
- 7:32Speaker 1: Durban all the time.
- 7:33Speaker 3: It's a cool bar.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Kenny Chesney has started his own record label called Hey
- 7:37Speaker 4: Now Records. This is interesting. So what does that mean
- 7:41Speaker 4: for an artist? I mean they just is it gonna
- 7:44Speaker 4: be his music on it? Do you think there'll be
- 7:46Speaker 4: other artists that they'll sign on.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I think they'll sign other artist, but he'll he'll have
- 7:49Speaker 2: the freedom to do kind of what he wants to
- 7:51Speaker 2: do instead of he's I don't know what other labels.
- 7:53Speaker 1: He's been on. John's been around this much longer than
- 7:55Speaker 1: I have. He was on Warner, he was on DNA,
- 7:58Speaker 1: which was part of RCA.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I see.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he's been from label to label and they give
- 8:02Speaker 1: you different money, they give you more upfront money. It's
- 8:05Speaker 1: all this different stuff. But when it's your own label,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I don't know, you give yourself a raise I don't know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and what you are Yeah, and you want to do it.
- 8:10Speaker 3: It's pretty sweet. Very Kenny Chesney core much.
- 8:13Speaker 1: More control over all of your music. I would say, awesome.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Well, Megan Maroney, she revealed that she almost quit music
- 8:19Speaker 4: after she moved to Nashville. She said she thought making
- 8:22Speaker 4: it big wasn't going to happen for her. But what's
- 8:25Speaker 4: kind of confusing is she's had a lot faster route
- 8:29Speaker 4: through country music from where she was discovered to the top.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You used to beat the old ten year plan. Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: hers has been quicker.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Yeah four years if that so, I'm glad that she
- 8:40Speaker 4: stuck around. But it really goes to show how difficult
- 8:43Speaker 4: it can be for artists trying to make it. I'll
- 8:45Speaker 4: making and that's your country, your music city minute.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Let's doing new Jacksonville traffick for your Wednesday ride in
- 8:50Speaker 2: a little bit chilly, So we gotta drive good today.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Country ninety nine one WQY and K Good Morning, It's
- 8:55Speaker 1: the Big Show. His name's Froggy, her name's Megan, and
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'm John. Good to be with you lot. Yesterday.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So yesterday was Saint Patrick's sayle we had a really
- 9:03Speaker 2: unfortunate incident happening. Yeah, in our friend group. People live
- 9:07Speaker 2: across the street from us. They are on vacation, they're
- 9:11Speaker 2: out of the country and their dog they put it
- 9:13Speaker 2: with a dog sitter, saying dog sitter that's been seeing
- 9:16Speaker 2: their dog, keeping their dog for they've had this dog
- 9:19Speaker 2: probably five or six years now, same dog sitter's been
- 9:22Speaker 2: having it. The dog was on a walk yesterday morning
- 9:25Speaker 2: with the dog sitter and slipped out of the collar.
- 9:29Speaker 2: The dog's not usually on a collar. They are a
- 9:32Speaker 2: couple that they walk their dog with. Their dog stays
- 9:34Speaker 2: right with them. You couldn't get this dog away from
- 9:36Speaker 2: them if you tried. When they're on a walk up
- 9:37Speaker 2: the dog is right at their feet, walks of them, plays,
- 9:40Speaker 2: does whatever. So, yeah, they're out of the country. Dog
- 9:44Speaker 2: is on the out of the dog sitters slips out
- 9:47Speaker 2: of the collar.
- 9:48Speaker 1: The dog is missing a dog. Wow.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I could not imagine being on vacation, the helpless feeling
- 9:55Speaker 2: they must feel when you can't go searching for your dog.
- 9:59Speaker 2: So all of us in the community yesterday got together
- 10:02Speaker 2: and we went looking for the dog, and we all
- 10:05Speaker 2: did the wrong thing. But you don't know it's wrong.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Like John Megan, what would you do if a dog
- 10:09Speaker 2: was lost? What's the first thing you would do?
- 10:11Speaker 3: To walk around the neighborhood, bring it to toys?
- 10:16Speaker 1: All wrong things to do?
- 10:17Speaker 3: Really, why is that wrong?
- 10:19Speaker 2: It says, don't call out, don't whistle, don't acknowledge, because
- 10:23Speaker 2: it scares them. The dog is experiencing anxiety, and the
- 10:27Speaker 2: dog will run. Every time I see somebody, it'll run.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So there's all these people the dog doesn't know calling
- 10:33Speaker 2: its name and that they said that that that makes
- 10:36Speaker 2: it worse. Well, so we talked to a I guess
- 10:41Speaker 2: it would be a professional dog tracker, and they.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Went, there's a professional dog tracker. I didn't even know
- 10:46Speaker 1: there was neither me neither. Yeah.
- 10:49Speaker 2: So they went and got some items that smelled like home.
- 10:53Speaker 2: They went and got some some clothing from the house
- 10:55Speaker 2: that had not that had been worned but not washed,
- 10:59Speaker 2: that smelled like the dog. And they're going to leave
- 11:00Speaker 2: those out and hope that that will lure the dog
- 11:02Speaker 2: back to a place where they are able to contain
- 11:04Speaker 2: the animal.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Wow.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Yeah, so oh man, I feel even worse for these
- 11:10Speaker 4: people now because your neighbors they're gone. You got strangers
- 11:13Speaker 4: coming in the house going through your drawers to.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Grab your clothes.
- 11:17Speaker 2: At LISTA, my wife went over with the dog tracker
- 11:19Speaker 2: and they went to the hamper. They just went to
- 11:21Speaker 2: the hamper and pulled some clothes like a shirt, a
- 11:25Speaker 2: pair of pants, a sweater that had been worn, so
- 11:28Speaker 2: that in that way they could go and place them.
- 11:31Speaker 2: The dog will hopefully smell them and then come back
- 11:32Speaker 2: to that. But it's a little white, white and black
- 11:35Speaker 2: Boston Terrier female slipped on the collar during the walk,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and it just says that the last thing you can
- 11:41Speaker 2: do is don't whistle, don't call out. Anything that causes
- 11:45Speaker 2: panic will cause the dogs to continue to retreat and run.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Right, It makes sense now that you say it that way,
- 11:51Speaker 1: but I would never thought of that first. But that
- 11:53Speaker 1: feels just so bad for them.
- 11:54Speaker 4: So is that what you're supposed to do then, Like
- 11:56Speaker 4: if one of our dogs gets out, we're just supposed
- 11:58Speaker 4: to leave like a little trail around.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I think it's different if it's your dog, because they
- 12:02Speaker 2: know you, therefore they are accustomed to coming to you.
- 12:08Speaker 1: My dad actually had a really good idea.
- 12:10Speaker 2: This is one of my dad doesn't have a lot
- 12:11Speaker 2: of good ideas in his older age, but he did
- 12:13Speaker 2: have a good idea yesterday that maybe they could record
- 12:16Speaker 2: a message on their phone, say it and have like
- 12:21Speaker 2: a bluetooth speaker right with their voices that's familiar.
- 12:25Speaker 1: The dog would hear it. Maybe that would cause them
- 12:26Speaker 1: to come in. I did dad.
- 12:28Speaker 2: My dad sometimes has good ideas Wow. He had about
- 12:31Speaker 2: five other ideas yesterday. I have other things to do.
- 12:33Speaker 1: They didn't do so well. Those were not good ideas,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but he was good on that one, that is. But
- 12:37Speaker 1: that is a good idea. So I don't know.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I just, I just I have never prayed so hard
- 12:41Speaker 2: for an animal. It's not mine. Yesterday ran this dog home.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I can't imagine how helpless thing.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And as Megan said, I feel for that sitter too.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I yes, because I have been the person watching a dog.
- 12:53Speaker 4: And I was house sitting for my sister who was
- 12:56Speaker 4: living in Mississippi, so she flew me down to hang
- 12:58Speaker 4: out at her house. Her dog ran away the morning
- 13:04Speaker 4: of me getting on the airplane, where it's like at
- 13:07Speaker 4: five o'clock in the morning, dark outside, dog ran off.
- 13:09Speaker 3: She lived in the woods, and I had to go
- 13:11Speaker 3: on my flight.
- 13:13Speaker 4: So I had to be the one to tell my sister,
- 13:16Speaker 4: your favorite dog you have, it's gone.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I can't find it.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I called your in laws, I called your you know
- 13:23Speaker 4: family down here.
- 13:25Speaker 3: What do you do? She was mad at me for
- 13:27Speaker 3: a long time.
- 13:27Speaker 4: They found the dog, luckily, but I felt so extremely bad.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I feel like I couldn't even base my sister for
- 13:34Speaker 4: a while because even when she found the dog, I was.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Like, you're the one that abandoned her, right, yeah, and what.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Are you gonna do? You know they're not gonna come
- 13:41Speaker 4: to you when they're out, like you said.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Flurry with Country ninety nine one wqy K The Big
- 13:48Speaker 1: Show with Fronkie John and Meghan. Thirty three year old
- 13:51Speaker 1: dude arrested for misdemeanor trespassing last Saturday. He spent a
- 13:55Speaker 1: night in jail. Now the next day he was brought
- 13:58Speaker 1: before a judge who had set his bail at too
- 14:00Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Where our friend here pulled out
- 14:02Speaker 1: a wad of cash, okay, handed it, handed the judge
- 14:06Speaker 1: for one hundred dollars bills told him to keep the change.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Oh now he's tipping. Now he's bribing the judge. Keep
- 14:13Speaker 1: the change. Well, there was one problem. It was counterfeit money.
- 14:19Speaker 1: The judge noticed it didn't look right and he flipped
- 14:21Speaker 1: it over. There were some kind of Chinese writing, good morning,
- 14:24Speaker 1: It's the Big Show with Frankie John and Megan. Another
- 14:26Speaker 1: cold start to a Wednesday.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Yeah, this Jack's Wednesday is cold outside, but I'm gonna
- 14:30Speaker 2: warm up to sixty today we'll see eighties by the weekend.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Uh huh. So I'm just looking forward to the weekend
- 14:35Speaker 1: eight though.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You don't want to wish life away, Nope, but I
- 14:38Speaker 2: really would like to get to the weekend.
- 14:40Speaker 1: At this point, I can just wish a couple of
- 14:42Speaker 1: days in advance, please, just.
- 14:43Speaker 2: A couple of days. I know I had trouble remembering
- 14:46Speaker 2: what I ate for dinner last night. You guys had
- 14:48Speaker 2: no trouble whatsoever, right, which says a lot about my
- 14:50Speaker 2: mental capacity at this point.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Quick question, Megan, how many hugs did you have yesterday?
- 14:58Speaker 3: More than normal? I think cone two? Four? Maybe?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Okay?
- 15:07Speaker 4: Four?
- 15:07Speaker 1: John? How many hugs did you have yesterday? Five? Okay?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Maybe that's good.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Kead Ready, an American author says that we need four
- 15:19Speaker 2: hugs a day for survival. Wow, we need eight hugs
- 15:23Speaker 2: a day for maintenance and twelve hugs a day for growth.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not really down with that.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Some people are not touchy feely kind of people like
- 15:32Speaker 1: my wife is. I mean, she'll hug me because she
- 15:34Speaker 1: knows I love a hug, right, She's not necessarily loving
- 15:37Speaker 1: a hug. I mean she likes getting one from me,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I would guess, But she doesn't need one, or so,
- 15:41Speaker 1: she says.
- 15:42Speaker 2: This will surprise you guys at least when I go,
- 15:44Speaker 2: can I get a hug? She's like, is it just
- 15:46Speaker 2: a hug or are you gonna try to do I'm like,
- 15:48Speaker 2: not just a hug.
- 15:49Speaker 1: You're trying to have a boys golf weekends coming up,
- 15:51Speaker 1: So just a hug. She's like, keep your hands to yourself.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Just a quick hug. I'm like, okay, nope, So this
- 15:59Speaker 1: is a hugs more than a hug. I understand, they say,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and they do say. Human touch is a bonding thing
- 16:05Speaker 1: like crazy. Like you see basketball teams when they're in
- 16:08Speaker 1: the layup line and they go by and they high
- 16:11Speaker 1: five each other almost every time when they walk, like
- 16:14Speaker 1: you do it constantly. And then you find out the
- 16:16Speaker 1: teams grow closer the more they touch, and so hitting
- 16:20Speaker 1: other guys on the butt sometimes, well maybe that's part
- 16:22Speaker 1: of it. And I'm doing that here at the station. Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I want to start starting HR and just save yourself
- 16:29Speaker 1: the trip.
- 16:30Speaker 2: No, imagine that's Juliet HR. No, she's not HR technically,
- 16:34Speaker 2: but she's our HR person.
- 16:36Speaker 3: She would laugh.
- 16:36Speaker 4: I think I think she would yell, she's got get
- 16:41Speaker 4: your hands off I don't stand why people want to.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I don't like that I got.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I got a couple of hugs at uh at Cole Haynes. Okay,
- 16:50Speaker 1: yeah I did too. I got a hug from my grandson,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and my wife hugged me, So yeah, I got I
- 16:55Speaker 1: got like five in I think I got maybe three
- 16:57Speaker 1: or four yesterday.
- 16:57Speaker 2: But yesterday was a hugging day because we saw people
- 17:00Speaker 2: that we know that we haven't seen in a while.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, it's great to see. So I don't think
- 17:04Speaker 1: I get four hugs a day.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Usually you can hug yourself, Howie Mandel, you know, give
- 17:10Speaker 4: yourself a fist bump.
- 17:11Speaker 1: That's not yourself, that's not weird or anything. Nothing looks
- 17:15Speaker 1: like guy in the corner hugging himself.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Different hugs too, you know, like there's some people that
- 17:21Speaker 4: they don't understand the side hug or the around the shoulder,
- 17:25Speaker 4: We're good to see you, buddy hug.
- 17:27Speaker 1: And then there's the full frontal hug.
- 17:29Speaker 4: I don't like those. I don't like being grabbed like that.
- 17:32Speaker 4: And then they just hold you there and you're like,
- 17:34Speaker 4: oh yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 2: The people that hug too long, they linger yep. Or
- 17:39Speaker 2: people hug with their crotch. You ever met one of those?
- 17:41Speaker 1: I have their crouching full frontel. Man, They're just a
- 17:45Speaker 1: little month I have.
- 17:46Speaker 4: So if you see me awkwardly hugging people, that's why
- 17:49Speaker 4: I'm avoiding.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yeah, great space, a lean hug.
- 17:53Speaker 1: She's basically leaning over to keep you.
- 17:56Speaker 4: I'm not moving my feet and I do the backtap
- 17:58Speaker 4: because until it's good to see you happen.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yes, we're done here. The backside means the hugg is ending.
- 18:03Speaker 4: But there are some people who are the hands swirlers.
- 18:06Speaker 4: You know, they'll they'll give you the circle on the back.
- 18:09Speaker 3: And I'm like, I don't want you.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I don't know you that well.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I want you to get away from me right now.
- 18:16Speaker 1: All right.
- 18:16Speaker 2: So whether you need four, eight, twelve hugs a day,
- 18:18Speaker 2: I hope you get whatever you need exactly for your
- 18:21Speaker 2: daily requirement. And I hope you only get hugged by
- 18:22Speaker 2: people who you want to hug you. Yes, and maybe
- 18:24Speaker 2: a side.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Hug by a pet, buy a squishmellow, oh yeah, something
- 18:29Speaker 4: you can.
- 18:29Speaker 3: That's what I do. Maybe I'm a freak, but that's
- 18:31Speaker 3: what I do.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Maybe, hey, maybe it's three things. What's going on for
- 18:37Speaker 1: the Shack's Wednesday.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Fernandina Beach nominated for USA Today's Reader Choice Awards for
- 18:41Speaker 4: Best Historic Small Towns. So get on and vote for
- 18:45Speaker 4: a local beach of ours. Saint Augustine saying Out Loud Festival,
- 18:49Speaker 4: it's not happening this year, but don't worry. It will
- 18:51Speaker 4: be back next year, but in May instead of September.
- 18:56Speaker 4: They're not having the big act, having local artists that
- 19:02Speaker 4: are performing for free.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, they're moving it out a hurricane season. Yeah, for
- 19:06Speaker 1: the insurance was crazy. Five hundred grand wow, Yeah, good move.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Sing Out Loud Festival. And that's slowly grown. I mean
- 19:13Speaker 1: it started and then it's slowly kind of grown into
- 19:15Speaker 1: an incredibly huge weekend in huge month and now they're
- 19:18Speaker 1: moving it but because of the money, but I understand it.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean yeah, and if we get free local
- 19:24Speaker 4: shows to move in and say five hundred grand, okay,
- 19:27Speaker 4: sounds good. Jacksonville Zoo has got a really cool exhibit.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Right now, Dinosauria. This would be.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Something if you've got kids that love dinosaurs or I
- 19:37Speaker 4: mean there's adult cell love dinosaurs. Sure, life size dinos everywhere,
- 19:42Speaker 4: so check it out. That's three things you need to know.
- 19:43Speaker 1: All right, we got a pop quiz coming up.
- 19:45Speaker 2: The callers nine and ten to play it with us.
- 19:48Speaker 2: We can't play by ourselves. Nine four, three, eight, eight
- 19:51Speaker 2: thirty six ninety nine. You're winning tickets to go to
- 19:53Speaker 2: Sea World, So call.

- 19:57Speaker 1: Megan from Amazon. Dang it in the pack bubble cigarettes. Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: they blow bubbles and then we also spilled half the fluid.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But we won't we won't tell the engineers.
- 20:07Speaker 3: That neither of you wanted to take a hit.
- 20:09Speaker 1: You see, I don't know what I wouldn't want to
- 20:12Speaker 1: get something from China and and hail it. I don't
- 20:14Speaker 1: know it's in that bubble fluid.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I still taste bubble in my mouth like that.
- 20:18Speaker 1: So the Big Show Froddy, John and Megan Country ninety
- 20:21Speaker 1: nine one. WQ I K. We know it's Wednesday, but
- 20:24Speaker 1: there's so much foody Tuesday.
- 20:25Speaker 3: We gotta get to it.
- 20:30Speaker 1: On a Wednesday. The Country ninety nine one.
- 20:33Speaker 2: All right, So I'm going to ask you guys questions,
- 20:35Speaker 2: and I want to see how many you can get. Okay,
- 20:37Speaker 2: this is a list of the most hated foods in America.
- 20:42Speaker 2: The most hated foods, I'll tell you what number they are?
- 20:44Speaker 2: When you guess there are, there are twelve on the list.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So Megan, you want to go first. Most hated foods
- 20:51Speaker 2: in America lime of beans, lime of beans not on
- 20:55Speaker 2: the list. Wow, wow, that's on Megan's list. John, what
- 21:01Speaker 2: is your guests?

- 21:09Speaker 3: I hate that sound delicious.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It's the San Francisco tree not on the list, John Colin,
- 21:16Speaker 2: you guys got to do better than this.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Now, I'm coming up with stuff I don't like either, beats,
- 21:21Speaker 1: beat it.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Some beats might be so hated. Number eleven, okay, number eleven.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I'm getting number one myself.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Okay, pickled pigs feet I don't like those either. They
- 21:33Speaker 4: freaking out in the jar.
- 21:34Speaker 2: You're close to one, but that's not on the list either. Really,
- 21:37Speaker 2: something with pigs is on there.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Okay, let's go to something like that.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Think about a pizza topping everybody hates? Oh, anchovies number one? Okay,
- 21:45Speaker 2: there we go, gotta get on the right track. Number
- 21:48Speaker 2: one anchovies, Go ahead. What about Chitlin's Chitlands. That's the
- 21:52Speaker 2: pig part I was talking about. That is number ten.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Wow, chicken parts intestines. Yeah, oh, that goes in the
- 22:00Speaker 1: potted meat. John, that's another part of the animal that
- 22:05Speaker 1: people like. Head cheese.
- 22:08Speaker 2: No, how about goat cheese. Goat cheese is not on
- 22:13Speaker 2: the list. On the list, but not that.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Okay, blue cheese, blue cheese.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm one of those. I don't like blue cheese. Smells bad.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It was like a fart. I don't like that. I'll
- 22:29Speaker 1: have extra mind. How about caviar. Caviar is number six.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You're getting close, keep going.
- 22:41Speaker 4: I'm gonna I just can't think I'm gonna go with
- 22:43Speaker 4: some gizzards, you.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Know what, you know, I'm gonna give you that close
- 22:47Speaker 1: to number two. Number two is liver.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Livery okay, yeah, they do go together.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Okay, So here we go. Number three is sardines. Okay, yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 1: there we go. Number four is something I can't stand tofu.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Oh I liked it.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I'm with you on that. Is there more things like
- 23:05Speaker 1: squid quid is number five? Which number five? Oh, you
- 23:08Speaker 1: got me thinking seafood that people don't like.
- 23:10Speaker 2: You think of another seafood people don't like. They slide
- 23:14Speaker 2: right down oyster number seven.
- 23:17Speaker 1: There we go.
- 23:18Speaker 2: We got eight of blue cheese, and number nine is sushi.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Oh yes, I'm not a sushi eater. My friend took
- 23:25Speaker 2: me for my birthday on like twenty third birthday, and
- 23:27Speaker 2: he had to put enough honeykin in me that I
- 23:29Speaker 2: would even eat one.
- 23:30Speaker 3: My gosh, that sounds like a bad birch.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Just was Philip was a great birthday. I don't remember
- 23:34Speaker 1: much of it. Never gonna eat the sushi was good. Ever.
- 23:38Speaker 2: The when I came to and the final one is
- 23:40Speaker 2: number twelve was Kalee.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I like kale Yeah, but yeah, I understand, but it
- 23:46Speaker 1: can have a bitter taste too. I understand how people
- 23:48Speaker 1: don't like it. Yeah, very good. Yeah, that's your list.
- 23:51Speaker 1: There you go, There you go things. I I don't
- 23:54Speaker 1: like that stuff either either.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, we got a five quiz coming, but
- 24:00Speaker 2: we are just a few minutes away. Somebody's going to
- 24:02Speaker 2: SeaWorld Orlando will play it in just a few minutes.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Alexis, we start with you. What percentage of people say
- 24:09Speaker 1: they love ranch dressing? Oh gosh, Kelly, is that number
- 24:16Speaker 1: higher or lower?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Lower?
- 24:19Speaker 1: It is? It's half of that actually, for only thirty
- 24:22Speaker 1: percent of people love ranch dressing. That's it. It's got
- 24:25Speaker 1: more than fifty percent likes, but only thirty percent of
- 24:28Speaker 1: people love ranch dressing, Kelly win the right direction.
- 24:31Speaker 2: So, Kelly, my grandma's ranch dressing. They'd love that you
- 24:36Speaker 2: drink that stuff. You'll be doing a house.
- 24:38Speaker 1: But Kelly, you get that point and you get this
- 24:43Speaker 1: question first. One of the most decorated gymnasts in history,
- 24:48Speaker 1: American Simone Biles. She's wowedest for a couple of Olympics. Now,
- 24:52Speaker 1: how old is Simone Biles? Kelly twenty nine? She's twenty nine. Wow,
- 25:02Speaker 1: Alexis sorry you didn't get a chance on that one.
- 25:04Speaker 3: M Kelly's going to be our winner.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Just a sweep with a sim Biles. Thanks, alexis absolutely amazing.
- 25:16Speaker 1: You incredible. It's got you a pair of tickets for
- 25:19Speaker 1: It's the Big Show. Froggie, John and Megan A happy
- 25:22Speaker 1: National Sloppy Joe Day. Do you like Sloppy Joe's? I
- 25:25Speaker 1: love Sloppy jo Love them, love them, love them. Our
- 25:28Speaker 1: family has them Memorial Day, fourth of July and Labor Day.
- 25:32Speaker 1: That's the only time we really have them. But we
- 25:34Speaker 1: make a big deal out of them because that's what
- 25:36Speaker 1: we did with the kids, and so my wife and
- 25:38Speaker 1: I still continue the tradition of Sloppy Joe's. Some potato
- 25:41Speaker 1: chips and some big beans. No, sloppy Joe is what
- 25:44Speaker 1: it's fun, and it is a hamburger meat. It's hamburger meat. Sure,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's hamburger meat with a tomato pasty bass. Yeah, you
- 25:51Speaker 1: can throw some manwich in if you don't, if you
- 25:53Speaker 1: want to skip some skip some steps, or if you
- 25:55Speaker 1: make your own. I make my moan.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't even know how you make it. I
- 26:00Speaker 3: just buy the can.
- 26:01Speaker 1: You get to get some tomato, You get some spices
- 26:04Speaker 1: and work them out. That thing said for a while.
- 26:06Speaker 1: You can come over if you would like to join
- 26:08Speaker 1: us for a Memorial Day Sloppy Joe's You and Ali
- 26:10Speaker 1: can come over.
- 26:11Speaker 3: We do like sloppy Joe.
- 26:12Speaker 2: You're more than welcome to come. Sloppy Joe the family.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I haven't had a sloppy Joe since. I don't think
- 26:16Speaker 2: i've had since I was in high school. We had
- 26:20Speaker 2: a sloppy Joe Day in high school with it.
- 26:22Speaker 3: They served that at school.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you could always tell, because everybody had it all
- 26:25Speaker 2: over their clothes after because nobody didn't eat. Hence the name.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It's not called clean Joe. We're high school kids, and
- 26:31Speaker 2: they still did not eat it is still really Yeah,
- 26:34Speaker 2: I can't.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Believe they serve that to you at school, like a
- 26:36Speaker 3: big scoop of slop.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Megan, it's cheap, is that. That's the reason we had
- 26:41Speaker 1: them for a long time. Care what we ate. It
- 26:43Speaker 1: was new, it was new. They didn't worry about nutrition
- 26:45Speaker 1: Mountain and my mom told us it was a delicacy. No,
- 26:47Speaker 1: we were saving a ton of money by clipping together
- 26:51Speaker 1: some ground beef into some sauce.
- 26:52Speaker 3: It is kind of a delicacy. We got frozen chicken patties.
- 26:57Speaker 1: We got those sometimes too at school. He did. Yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 1: I never ate. I never ate lunch at school.
- 27:02Speaker 2: The lady with the hair net and her arms, you
- 27:05Speaker 2: always knew they were good. Her arms like were hanging
- 27:07Speaker 2: in the sauce. That's it's just gonna be good because.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Mine was also this my softball coach.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Right, see exactly. So they were pulling triple ripple duty
- 27:18Speaker 1: back then, you know they were. Yeah.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I liked school lunch. Actually, Oh, I didn't get any
- 27:23Speaker 2: trouble at school lunch. I behaved. We had some kids
- 27:26Speaker 2: they got in trouble at school lunch every day, every day,
- 27:29Speaker 2: every day, trouble at school lunch.
- 27:30Speaker 3: I hated school lunch.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Maybe that's why my mom made me a peanut butter
- 27:33Speaker 1: and jelly sandwich every day. Oh so you did eat
- 27:35Speaker 1: school lunch. Never ate school lunch. My mom would either
- 27:37Speaker 1: do a ham sandwich or a peanut butter sandwich. And
- 27:39Speaker 1: so I didn't have to go through the line. She
- 27:41Speaker 1: thought I was so picky I probably wouldn't eat a morsel. Yeah. Wow,
- 27:45Speaker 1: I got over that real quick.
- 27:47Speaker 4: I was on free lunch, so I just got whatever
- 27:49Speaker 4: they had. You know, so you go to the line
- 27:52Speaker 4: and they're like, sorry, milk too, right? Uh yeah, chocom out.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Love chocolate choccing milk is always good. We have that
- 27:59Speaker 1: with our slop. Sometimes this is like being back in school.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I'll bring my own trade.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I tell you right now, there's a According to a
- 28:09Speaker 2: new study, your brain's attention span does not hold steady.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Get this, this is wild to me. The brain's distraction windows.
- 28:16Speaker 2: So the number of times you can get distracted per
- 28:19Speaker 2: second is seven times your brain's distraction. I mean, I
- 28:23Speaker 2: don't even want to brain can operate seven It can
- 28:25Speaker 2: do anything in seven times in a second.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Our mind is amazing, but I can't. I didn't know
- 28:29Speaker 1: what to do that.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it says that it feels like you can't go
- 28:31Speaker 2: a second without being distracted. That's not an exaggeration. It's
- 28:35Speaker 2: actually happening more than that. According to a new study,
- 28:38Speaker 2: the brain's attention span does not hold steady. It's constantly
- 28:41Speaker 2: flickering within seconds up to seven.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Times a second. You can get distracted.
- 28:46Speaker 2: That's why you go to do something and you completely
- 28:49Speaker 2: forgot what you were going to do. See, it's not
- 28:51Speaker 2: necessarily an age thing. It's more a study finds that's
- 28:54Speaker 2: how our brains operate.
- 28:56Speaker 1: That's amazing. I can't think about that much longer. My
- 28:59Speaker 1: brain start hurting.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been one second since Froggy finished telling us that.
- 29:04Speaker 4: So we've all had seven, eight, nine, ten hone. Who
- 29:07Speaker 4: knows how many?
- 29:08Speaker 1: What was I saying?
- 29:09Speaker 3: Squirrel couldn't tell you exactly.
- 29:11Speaker 1: That's me.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Let's get into Megan's three things. She's got it written
- 29:14Speaker 2: down though, so she doesn't she's not gonna forget. Luckily,
- 29:18Speaker 2: don't get distracted. No, John's waving his arms around.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Jacksonville Zoo's got a huge new dinosaur exhibit.
- 29:27Speaker 3: It's called Dinosauria.
- 29:28Speaker 4: It looks cool because there's a bunch of life sized dinosaurs,
- 29:32Speaker 4: t Rex's, Stegosaurus, Tresratops. Your kids will probably be able
- 29:36Speaker 4: to tell you all the names of the dinosaurs better.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Than I can.
- 29:38Speaker 1: They got distracted by that meteor.
- 29:40Speaker 3: I guess oh.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Fernandina Beach is nominated for USA Today's Reader Choice Awards
- 29:47Speaker 4: for the Best Historic Small Towns.

- 29:52Speaker 3: can get a little recognition.
- 29:54Speaker 4: And Saint Augustine's Sing Out Loud Festival is gonna look
- 29:57Speaker 4: a little different. So this year it's not happening the
- 30:00Speaker 4: same way it's happened in the past, but next year
- 30:03Speaker 4: it'll be back to normal. They're going to move it
- 30:05Speaker 4: to May instead of September. But there should still be
- 30:08Speaker 4: some free local artists shows that you can check out
- 30:11Speaker 4: this year.
- 30:11Speaker 3: That's three things you need to know.
- 30:13Speaker 2: So yesterday we told you that Megan has got some
- 30:16Speaker 2: fears that she's afraid of and we have to find
- 30:20Speaker 2: a way to help.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Her get over these.
- 30:22Speaker 2: I know the Jumbo Shrimp announced yesterday they got their
- 30:24Speaker 2: big schedule. Megan, I want you to pick a game
- 30:27Speaker 2: that you're going to go to the Jumbo Shrimp this
- 30:29Speaker 2: year and at least have a friendly encounter with scampy.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I'm not having an encounter with him. There's no way.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I I don't want I'm not could.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I can't, you can't. I don't want to.
- 30:46Speaker 3: It's scary.
- 30:48Speaker 1: You just say hello, that's all I got to say.
- 30:51Speaker 1: You don't have to shake hands. You don't have to.
- 30:53Speaker 1: He had hands.
- 30:54Speaker 3: I don't know what.
- 30:55Speaker 1: What do shrimps have, Well, this one maybe has a
- 30:58Speaker 1: claus clause. You don't have to shake claws. We're gonna
- 31:04Speaker 1: make progress. I feel it.
- 31:05Speaker 3: I don't want to talk to hi.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Baby steps, baaby steps. We're starting this. It's going to
- 31:09Speaker 1: be the beginning. So they have military Appreciation Day. You
- 31:11Speaker 1: can go for that, Yeah, okay, and then meat scamp
- 31:14Speaker 1: and next thing, you know, scamp. He might be in camo.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Well, I do love the military in Yeah, depends on
- 31:18Speaker 4: what kind of camo he's wearing.
- 31:20Speaker 3: His shrimp. So if he shows up in navy camo, what.
- 31:23Speaker 1: If he's dressed like a bass and cans bass camo,
- 31:26Speaker 1: Billy Billy Bob, Bass Billy Bob, Baby steps, baby steps,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I don't want to come to you.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Got rain drops drumming on rusted tin, flathead dragon out
- 31:37Speaker 4: twenty pounds.
- 31:38Speaker 1: String Matt is in Saint John's Why do you think, buddy?
- 31:41Speaker 1: Uh favorite country song?
- 31:42Speaker 3: But yes, you got it.
- 31:45Speaker 1: You made a little easier today than usual.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I thought that was a hard one, did you Yeah?
- 31:48Speaker 4: I really thought it was gonna be all right?
- 31:50Speaker 1: You met?
- 31:50Speaker 3: Did you catch that from first?
- 31:51Speaker 1: Listen? I got it pretty quickly? Okay, Well it was
- 31:55Speaker 1: worth it. Man, park and McCallum. We get Tork Bentley
- 31:57Speaker 1: with the Big Show, Froggie John and Megan Great be
- 32:00Speaker 1: with you. It's non stop, big show, slowing down long
- 32:02Speaker 1: enough to get you a winner.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Season Parker McCollum shows going on at the Saint Augustine Amphitheater.
- 32:07Speaker 2: John and I would give you the tickets, but Meghan
- 32:09Speaker 2: doesn't operate that way.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Meghan's in charge. So Meghan, how do you want to
- 32:14Speaker 1: give these things away?
- 32:15Speaker 3: I had a lyric? Okay, you have to guess it.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Okay, rain drops drumming on rusted tin, flathead, Dragon out,
- 32:22Speaker 4: twenty pounds.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Show with Froggy John and Meghan. Another cold start. But
- 32:25Speaker 1: I think we're done with the thirties. I'm not going
- 32:27Speaker 1: to say that for the record, of course.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I think you're right, though. I think tonight's one is
- 32:30Speaker 2: forty eight. That's nowhere close to the thirties. And then
- 32:32Speaker 2: I think from here on out we're gonna be good.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna believe.
- 32:34Speaker 1: You this time. Okay, let's go, let's warn this thing
- 32:36Speaker 1: up from here on in.
- 32:37Speaker 4: I'm not believing anything that punks. Tiny John says at
- 32:40Speaker 4: this point, you're the.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Biggest supporter of all time before.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Yeah, but now what he says is the opposite, clearly.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Okay, all right, so we've been talking about Meghan overcoming
- 32:49Speaker 2: her fears and what's the number one thing you're afraid of?
- 32:52Speaker 3: Mascots?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Okay, so we know that our jumbo shrimp they are
- 32:57Speaker 2: launching their season very soon.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Yeah no no, no, no no no no no no
- 33:03Speaker 4: no no no, no, no, no no no.
- 33:09Speaker 3: I hate you guys.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Now.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I asked Megan a couple of times, I'll scale one ten,
- 33:14Speaker 2: how much do you love John and I and you
- 33:16Speaker 2: said it was a ten.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I'm crying. I was really the back.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I hate you guys.
- 33:22Speaker 2: He's just standing there. I tell the masters. Can he
- 33:25Speaker 2: walk in and sit down by John? No, this is scampy.
- 33:28Speaker 3: I don't like him.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Can he just walk well loved down by John? Jumbo
- 33:32Speaker 2: shrip mascot. He's gonna be now. She's under the table.
- 33:36Speaker 1: That's it. That's Scampy Scampi and he made.
- 33:41Speaker 2: It into the door. He Megan, Megan, we can't hear
- 33:45Speaker 2: you under the counter. She's said, work good. That's where
- 33:50Speaker 2: she's cussing. Now, so nobody can here in all series?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Can he walk over there? Please let me by, John,
- 33:57Speaker 2: you can stand over there and he'll walk that way.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Why do we all have one exit?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Scampy will come in and be by me and then
- 34:03Speaker 1: you can leave there.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Why does he look like that.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Because he's a shrimp.
- 34:07Speaker 3: He's in crustation of some sort.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Okay, let me see if I go over and get
- 34:12Speaker 2: him and I walk with him between you and him.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Kenny, come in the room over here.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Okay, here we go here, I don't we'll have to
- 34:20Speaker 1: get look at this look, you know, out of context,
- 34:26Speaker 1: Scampy is kind of funky. Scampy on the ball field
- 34:30Speaker 1: is a totally different animal. And we just lost Megan.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Scamp It's so great to have Scampy come in. Okay,
- 34:39Speaker 1: this this really happened.
- 34:41Speaker 2: She had no idea, none, none, and she reacted exactly
- 34:45Speaker 2: as I thought.
- 34:45Speaker 1: We did well. At least she talked, and she didn't.
- 34:47Speaker 1: We didn't have to bleed everything out she did. So
- 34:50Speaker 1: she is afraid coming back in. You can do it, Hi.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Look she's overcoming, overcoming her fears. Are you mad at us?
- 34:58Speaker 3: Scared?
- 34:59Speaker 1: Look, it's just a person in a suit embodying a
- 35:04Speaker 1: entire character.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Scamby has uh he has representatives here that we need
- 35:09Speaker 2: to talk about our jumbo shrimp because they've got lots
- 35:11Speaker 2: of good times.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Scampy, don't Scampy's mom, Scampy don't talk. This microphone does work. Yeah,
- 35:18Speaker 1: let's put this put four on. Oh man, all right,
- 35:22Speaker 1: there we go. Yes, and who do we have? It's
- 35:25Speaker 1: Noel with John. Hey, Noel, how are you doing. I've
- 35:28Speaker 1: spoken to you on the phone, but I've never met
- 35:30Speaker 1: you in person. That's great to have you. Yes, here,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I am in the flesh. Yes, indeed, and thank you
- 35:34Speaker 1: for bringing Scampy here in the flesh.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Absolutely, we appreciate it.
- 35:38Speaker 1: We have had so much fun, uh in the past
- 35:40Speaker 1: few years when the jumbo shrimp coming in and having
- 35:42Speaker 1: some of the incredible events. Yeah, I mean I tell others,
- 35:46Speaker 1: I tell strangers about some of the things y'all do
- 35:48Speaker 1: it's always so much fun. And they're the champions the
- 35:51Speaker 1: whole time on.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Just not just International League, but the whole Triple A.
- 35:55Speaker 2: They won the whole thing last year, so we got
- 35:57Speaker 2: I mean, Scamby represents a championship team.
- 36:00Speaker 1: And look at that Meg.
- 36:01Speaker 3: That's really good for the team.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I love that She'll be over here not breathing. Look
- 36:07Speaker 2: how close you are to him.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Man, can you believe you are? Okay? But he's not
- 36:11Speaker 1: harmed anybody. I know.
- 36:13Speaker 3: He's just there. He's just there.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, just right there. Now that you guys are doing,
- 36:17Speaker 1: you have a lot of feelings agains here. Yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 5: We we like to do little uh different parties every
- 36:23Speaker 5: every night and seventy five home games. We try to
- 36:25Speaker 5: pack it out with lots of fun all the every
- 36:27Speaker 5: night of the season. It all kicks off next week
- 36:29Speaker 5: with a championship celebration weekend.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Yeah that's awesome. And see you got a crayon night
- 36:34Speaker 1: on March thirty.
- 36:35Speaker 2: First, Fantasy Football Punishment Night on April second, the game
- 36:39Speaker 2: on April third, there's a military appreciation night.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I know you were going to take part in, Megan.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll be there.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so when you go there, you'll part of the
- 36:47Speaker 1: deal is you have to hang out. I don't think
- 36:50Speaker 1: this is out of here. Maybe Scampy can be your
- 36:52Speaker 1: catcher for this one. You can throw a ball at scamp.
- 36:54Speaker 3: There you go.
- 36:55Speaker 5: They got the aggression, take out the get all out
- 36:57Speaker 5: and we can all understand. Yeah, the Military Nights are great.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Do five of those throughout the season where all military personnel, former,
- 37:04Speaker 5: current and retired and their dependents get free tickets. So
- 37:08Speaker 5: it's a it's a great thing we do for the
- 37:09Speaker 5: military community. And we still do the two for Tuesdays.
- 37:12Speaker 5: The core is like Thirsty Thursdays. All those works every
- 37:14Speaker 5: Friday night and some Saturdays as well.
- 37:16Speaker 1: One of my favorite ones they ever did was like
- 37:18Speaker 1: a Florida, Georgia weekend kind of thing and it was
- 37:20Speaker 1: the world's largest cocktail sauce Yeah. I like that.
- 37:24Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 37:25Speaker 1: The largest cocktail sauce party. It's just hilarious. I'm really
- 37:28Speaker 1: proud of you, Megan. Thanks, I'm really proud of you.
- 37:31Speaker 4: I'm trying my best because I like the jump of Shrimp.
- 37:34Speaker 4: It's just the mascot thing.
- 37:36Speaker 1: So now you like Scampy better than South Paul. Now
- 37:41Speaker 1: Scampy's right here. I know, I know you're trying to
- 37:44Speaker 1: ignore Scampy.
- 37:45Speaker 3: I just feel terrified looking look at you.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Know, he can't leave until we all take a picture together.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Oh you know you can be on the outside.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Okay, the outside of the class, outside of the building.
- 37:59Speaker 3: I really am.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but our joe boat shrimp there just to have had
- 38:02Speaker 1: to kick it off next week.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Right, that's right, next Friday, Saturday and Sunday opening weekend.
- 38:06Speaker 1: It's gonna be Yeah, that'd be great. So head on
- 38:08Speaker 1: out to the ballpark. It is. It's such a family
- 38:10Speaker 1: fun environment. It's just great to go to. I love
- 38:13Speaker 1: the new entrance you have it on the backside. He
- 38:15Speaker 1: used to be over center field and wallparks coming out
- 38:17Speaker 1: the back way, having that wonderful thing in right field,
- 38:20Speaker 1: all the different food that it's just really an experience
- 38:23Speaker 1: for the whole family. And uh, we can couldn't be
- 38:26Speaker 1: more happy to have him be a partner with you guys.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Yeah, no, it's it's a lot of fun, and we
- 38:30Speaker 5: appreciate everything you guys do with us as well. And
- 38:31Speaker 5: then just packing it out seventy five nights here, it's
- 38:34Speaker 5: a lot of fun. I'd say, I want to go
- 38:35Speaker 5: throw out the first pitch. I'm gonna do better this time.
- 38:37Speaker 5: I promise.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I'm not gonna throw a big rainbow ball. I'm gonna
- 38:39Speaker 2: throw a better a little straighter. Okay, it didn't bounce
- 38:41Speaker 2: last year in the dirt, but I did I hit
- 38:44Speaker 2: the plate.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Didn't I? Yeah? My son, my son went with me.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Grandson's in front of me, and I'm hitting the plate
- 38:49Speaker 1: because he was there. We'll get a readou the first pitch. Yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 1: you can say, who catch?
- 38:54Speaker 3: I like it.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I make him the target.
- 38:57Speaker 4: We might need to just be separated. We can both
- 39:01Speaker 4: work on crowd cheers separately.
- 39:04Speaker 1: The first baseline in the Scampy will be on the
- 39:07Speaker 1: third baseline. Yes, yep, all right, you handled this very well.
- 39:12Speaker 1: How about it? Were Meg Scampy? That's my girl? And
- 39:15Speaker 1: how about what are you? What are you cleaning up?
- 39:18Speaker 4: I spilt my bubble cigarettes bubble cigarette?
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yeah, care to explain? Yeah?
- 39:25Speaker 4: I just pull him out of what looks like a
- 39:27Speaker 4: marble red a bubble cigarette a cigarette that well, well,
- 39:31Speaker 4: haven't we had a morning The Big Show with Froggy,
- 39:34Speaker 4: John and Meghan in Country ninety nine one w q
- 39:36Speaker 4: y k uh.
- 39:37Speaker 1: If you weren't with us at about nine ten. Uh,
- 39:40Speaker 1: Megan had the incredible, wonderful thrill of meeting her fears. Yes,
- 39:45Speaker 1: she got to meet Scampy from a jumbo shrimp. Megan's terrify,
- 39:49Speaker 1: don't She is terrified of mascots. It's truly, and you
- 39:52Speaker 1: will say it, Megan, an irrational fear of mascots is
- 39:56Speaker 1: Scampy walked in. I was starting to get an irrational
- 39:58Speaker 1: fear when Scampy walked in. When your close range Scampy
- 40:01Speaker 1: is kind of odd.
- 40:02Speaker 3: I will say, yes, he is very scary, and that
- 40:05Speaker 3: was terrifying.
- 40:05Speaker 1: But you have overcome your fears and congratulations thing. Not
- 40:09Speaker 1: that you're going to hang out with a bunch of
- 40:11Speaker 1: mascots anytime soon. But you were in the room. You
- 40:13Speaker 1: took a picture with.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Them, Yes, I did, Yeah, and.
- 40:16Speaker 1: You were only one person away from him. It was
- 40:18Speaker 1: John Scampy me and then you one person away from him. See,
- 40:23Speaker 1: and I didn't get violent, even though there was a
- 40:26Speaker 1: vase in arm's length And said you thought about throwing them?
- 40:29Speaker 4: Yes, I did, but I now realized I should have
- 40:32Speaker 4: just taken one and thrown them at each of you.
- 40:35Speaker 1: So I guess we need to know what did we
- 40:37Speaker 1: learn today? Meg?
- 40:39Speaker 4: Don't ever ever reveal any of your fears or your
- 40:42Speaker 4: weaknesses to your coworkers. Don't do it, especially in a closed, small.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Room with only one exit. I learned that Meghan is
- 40:51Speaker 2: a little more brave The Big Show Extra.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Sponsored by Parah and Farah.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Here for You, Here for Good,
