- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, let me go back with Rich. All right, Rich,
- 0:01Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I just think it's a case of, you know,
- 0:06Speaker 2: it's sort of the empire strikes back. I mean, you
- 0:09Speaker 2: went against the powers that be, and the powers that be.
- 0:13Speaker 1: So why don't we just get rid of everybody? Rand
- 0:16Speaker 1: Paul's got to go next. So anybody that doesn't walk
- 0:18Speaker 1: in lockstep with whatever Trump tells them is just a
- 0:22Speaker 1: bad Republican and should be run out of office. Stop thinking.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Just do what you're told. The same criticism I say
- 0:30Speaker 1: that I had about Tim Ryan becoming a politician, a
- 0:32Speaker 1: lapdog for Nancy Pelosi, I'm supposed to now say it's
- 0:35Speaker 1: okay for Republicans to do that? I refuse to do that.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Imagine you're the boss of a company. This is not.
- 0:44Speaker 2: This is politics.
- 0:45Speaker 1: But it's the same thing. No, he's the president. It's
- 0:49Speaker 1: a check and balance system. That person is voted to
- 0:53Speaker 1: represent their constituents in their district.
- 0:56Speaker 3: It is.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Their bosses are their voters.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That person did that. And last night, the district said,
- 1:04Speaker 2: you're not doing what we want you to do, so
- 1:06Speaker 2: we're trying a different guy.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Did it, or did $ 10 million outside dollars influence it?
- 1:11Speaker 1: If it was so much a district that made that decision,
- 1:15Speaker 1: why was it the most expensive congressional race ever, ever
- 1:19Speaker 1: spent on? By outside money. Outside money.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Dollars don't vote. People vote.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Dollars make a big difference. So you can spend all
- 1:27Speaker 1: the money you want.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Kamala Harris outspent Trump probably two to one.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I don't know about that. Trump had a ton of money.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I do know about that. She went through over a
- 1:38Speaker 2: billion dollars in three months.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Trump spent, I.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Think, $ 600, $ 700 million. It wasn't even close. And she
- 1:47Speaker 2: got trounced. Money can influence elections. Money can help you win.
- 1:53Speaker 2: But it's not a guarantee that you're going to do it.
- 1:55Speaker 2: So money is separate from the voters.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Well, let me put it this way. It makes a
- 1:58Speaker 1: hell of a lot of difference. If you don't think
- 2:00Speaker 1: money has a big influence in campaigns, you're fooling yourself.
- 2:05Speaker 2: It absolutely can. But it also comes down to the candidate.
- 2:10Speaker 2: And if you're in a district that I think that
- 2:12Speaker 2: district voted for Trump, it was something like he carried
- 2:15Speaker 2: that district by like 75% or something like that. It's
- 2:18Speaker 2: a hugely mega district. So if that's the case, if
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm the representative from a district that voted for Trump 85%
- 2:29Speaker 2: of the time, and I want to keep my job,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I'm probably going to do what Trump tells me. Now,
- 2:34Speaker 2: if I want to vote my conscience and be like
- 2:38Speaker 2: Massey was, then that's fine. But then don't be surprised
- 2:41Speaker 2: when your constituents fire you. And that's what you saw
- 2:44Speaker 2: last night. Like I said, it's no different. Trump is
- 2:48Speaker 2: a business guy. He comes from the business world. He
- 2:51Speaker 2: looks at it as a business proposition.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But that isn't how the country works. He's not a CEO.
- 2:58Speaker 1: How we work in the private sector is not how
- 3:01Speaker 1: they work in the government. It is not.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Trump isn't a government guy.
- 3:07Speaker 1: He's a private sector guy. It doesn't matter. We don't
- 3:11Speaker 1: change how the government works because of him. He's got
- 3:15Speaker 1: to learn to operate within the system.
- 3:19Speaker 2: He didn't change how the government works. All he did
- 3:21Speaker 2: was influence the outcome. The government, the system functions flawlessly.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I tell you what, all of these people should stop
- 3:29Speaker 1: thinking and just do what Trump says. They shouldn't question
- 3:33Speaker 1: the war. They shouldn't question foreign aid. And they shouldn't
- 3:36Speaker 1: question the Epstein files because they could lose their job
- 3:39Speaker 1: because that's what he lost his job over. So you're saying,
- 3:43Speaker 1: by God, he should have went along with all that
- 3:45Speaker 1: stuff even though he disagreed with it. That's what you're
- 3:48Speaker 1: telling him he should have done to keep his job.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And he had the honor enough to say, I'm not
- 3:52Speaker 1: about to do that. And you would be bitching about
- 3:55Speaker 1: the same thing when Tim Ryan did it with Nancy Pelosi.
- 4:00Speaker 1: He's just trying.
- 4:01Speaker 4: To keep his job.
- 4:01Speaker 2: All I'm saying is, I'm not saying I like the
- 4:04Speaker 2: outcome because I think the outcome is going to kill
- 4:06Speaker 2: him in November. And the reason I say that is
- 4:09Speaker 2: my young kids last night were besides themselves. I mean,
- 4:14Speaker 2: we were texting back and forth for two hours last night.
- 4:16Speaker 2: They're just not going to vote in November.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Well, that's just stupid.
- 4:21Speaker 2: But you're saying what happened last night is stupid. And
- 4:25Speaker 2: in both.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Instances, you're right.
- 4:27Speaker 1: What I'm saying to you last night is... Money makes
- 4:30Speaker 1: a huge difference. There's a reason why a congressional race
- 4:34Speaker 1: in Kentucky was the most expensive ever that brought in
- 4:38Speaker 1: $ 10 million basically from a special interest country to try
- 4:42Speaker 1: to derail a guy.
- 4:44Speaker 2: It can.
- 4:45Speaker 1: No, it didn't make a difference because you can, listen,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you can run negative ads that aren't true. It's very effective.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Advertising works. 99% of the time.
- 4:57Speaker 4: It works.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Except with Donald Trump. It didn't work in 2016 when
- 5:03Speaker 2: Hillary beat him because she outspent him. She way outspent him.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Hang on a minute. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Wait,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I didn't mean it. Are you there? I lost him.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Call me back, Rich. G2, hello.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Good evening, Ron. How are you?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Trying to make sense of all of this.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Well, it's going to be hard because emotions are high
- 5:24Speaker 3: and information is low. And, you know, I did catch
- 5:28Speaker 3: some of what you and Rich were just talking about.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I understand his point that he thinks, like, the voters
- 5:33Speaker 3: rose up. But, of course, we know that's not actually
- 5:35Speaker 3: what happened. For example, if you look at what Ed
- 5:38Speaker 3: Gowrain said, he said Thomas Massey was one of the–
- 5:42Speaker 3: was the only Republican who voted against the Save America Act. Now,
- 5:46Speaker 3: that was a lie. Gowrain knew it was a lie.
- 5:49Speaker 3: But people believed it to be true and voted on it.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So $ 30 million– of intimidation, of indoctrination almost, right, of
- 6:00Speaker 3: conditioning and $ 30 million of pushing this guy who's going
- 6:05Speaker 3: to be a terrible representative nobody ever heard of a
- 6:08Speaker 3: few weeks ago. Now, this wasn't the people rising up.
- 6:10Speaker 3: The people were beaten over the head with a carefully
- 6:13Speaker 3: crafted advertising campaign that was huge amounts of money, and
- 6:20Speaker 3: it worked. But you can't say that the people at
- 6:23Speaker 3: Rose Up said, I'm really angry that Thomas Massey was
- 6:26Speaker 3: working against the kill switch. I wanted the kill switch.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I'm telling you right now, there's a problem with how
- 6:33Speaker 3: we view what it means to vote with or against Republicans.
- 6:38Speaker 3: If you think voting with Republicans is voting for the
- 6:41Speaker 3: FISA bill for warrantless searches, I'm telling you that's just
- 6:46Speaker 3: voting with the cabal. Now, if you look at the
- 6:49Speaker 3: Freedom Caucus, They stand up against FISA 702. They say
- 6:53Speaker 3: get a warrant if you want to search Americans' information.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Get a warrant. But if you vote against that, you're
- 7:02Speaker 3: voting against Republicans. Well, do you find Republicans as these
- 7:05Speaker 3: entrenched Washington operatives or as the Republican voter, the people
- 7:09Speaker 3: in the streets and the things they care about? I
- 7:12Speaker 3: would argue that most of the people who went to vote,
- 7:14Speaker 3: because it was a much bigger election turnout than ever before,
- 7:18Speaker 3: Most people who went to vote had no idea what
- 7:20Speaker 3: the truth was. Now, Massey's turnout was about 20% higher.
- 7:24Speaker 3: He increased his votes by 20% and still lost. That's
- 7:29Speaker 3: only happened in 2020 with Donald Trump. How did that happen?
- 7:33Speaker 3: They got his opponent, the votes against Massey for the
- 7:36Speaker 3: other candidate, were up 357% compared to the last time
- 7:41Speaker 3: he was in a challenged race. That's not normal. That's
- 7:45Speaker 3: not organic. That's manipulation. And yet $ 30 million coming in
- 7:50Speaker 3: from outside sources doesn't actually facilitate effective elections. It disrupts
- 7:57Speaker 3: those elections. It overwhelms. I can tell you of another situation,
- 8:01Speaker 3: we'll go into it, where the funding was grossly mismatched.
- 8:05Speaker 3: A carefully planned ad campaign delivered completely false information to
- 8:10Speaker 3: voters who I spoke to who voted against their own interests,
- 8:14Speaker 3: knowing what they were doing.
- 8:15Speaker 5: You can fool the voters.
- 8:17Speaker 3: They aren't that informed. Now, in this case, I've spent
- 8:21Speaker 3: a huge amount of time over the last few days
- 8:25Speaker 3: talking to people about this, texting with people about this,
- 8:27Speaker 3: met with some people today and went through it. There's
- 8:30Speaker 3: a range of reactions to this. Most of the people
- 8:35Speaker 3: who are really excited watch a lot of Fox News.
- 8:38Speaker 3: They are deeply involved. in Israel. They are wildly supportive
- 8:44Speaker 3: of Israel. It's sort of the Israel first crowd. So
- 8:47Speaker 3: they're excited because they got what they wanted. They got
- 8:49Speaker 3: Israel first. But it's funny, they tend to ignore the
- 8:55Speaker 3: 30 million and ignore the Israeli connection and focus on
- 8:59Speaker 3: all kinds of stuff that isn't real. Like Matt, he
- 9:01Speaker 3: didn't vote with Republicans. Now in the first term, this
- 9:05Speaker 3: voting along party lines, he was 91%. This time he
- 9:07Speaker 3: was 77%. Still a very high ratio But in voting
- 9:12Speaker 3: on the critical issues that Republican voters care about, he
- 9:16Speaker 3: was the highest rated. I think he was actually the
- 9:18Speaker 3: highest rated member in Congress. And he had to go.
- 9:23Speaker 3: So Rich made the point a moment ago that his
- 9:26Speaker 3: children were upset about this. I could tell you 18
- 9:30Speaker 3: to 39s are out. I went through the numbers with
- 9:34Speaker 3: you on the air yesterday. 18 to 39s are out.
- 9:37Speaker 3: This is going to have a massive impact. This was
- 9:40Speaker 3: a major fracture, an additional fracture in the coalition we
- 9:43Speaker 3: need to maintain the course this country was supposed to
- 9:47Speaker 3: be on. So the devastating impact of this election is
- 9:52Speaker 3: going to be felt for a long time. And when
- 9:54Speaker 3: November comes, if Trump hasn't fixed this, fixed the war,
- 9:58Speaker 3: gotten gas prices back, and gotten us back on track
- 10:01Speaker 3: to execute the American agenda, and distanced himself from this
- 10:05Speaker 3: feeling that he's representing Israel, that doesn't make him anti-Semitic.
- 10:09Speaker 5: The guy came out today and said, I got a 99%
- 10:11Speaker 5: rating in Israel. He's got a 36%, 34% rating here.
- 10:17Speaker 3: He's more popular in Israel because he's serving Israel's interests
- 10:20Speaker 3: in the eyes of Israelis and in the eyes of Americans.
- 10:23Speaker 3: He's got to fix all of this, and he's got
- 10:25Speaker 3: to do it by about mid-July. It is a very
- 10:28Speaker 3: heavy lift. So I think this was a bad decision
- 10:31Speaker 3: by Trump. I think it was a terrible thing to
- 10:34Speaker 3: watch a foreign government do this. I think that when
- 10:37Speaker 3: these voters realize what they did, it's going to be
- 10:40Speaker 3: too late, so it won't matter. Gowrain is not a
- 10:42Speaker 3: guy that could have won that district. And I think we're...
- 10:46Speaker 3: I think we're going to pay a heavy price for this.
- 10:49Speaker 3: But again, I'm talking to really smart people who believe that,
- 10:53Speaker 3: you know, you've got to just trust Trump. He's the commander.
- 10:55Speaker 3: He's the guy we picked. He's the only guy we have.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Trust Trump. He knows what we don't know. I just
- 11:00Speaker 3: don't buy it. And again, the issues that Matthew was
- 11:02Speaker 3: working on beyond Epstein, which was one of the critical factors,
- 11:06Speaker 3: beyond foreign aid, which he's resisted not just for these
- 11:08Speaker 3: guys but for everybody, and beyond turning down these continued
- 11:13Speaker 3: resolutions and so on, the things he was on, like
- 11:18Speaker 3: this idea that the government's going to force us to
- 11:21Speaker 3: buy cars that surveil us. He was opposed to that. Well,
- 11:25Speaker 3: that's not very popular in certain circles, and those circles
- 11:28Speaker 3: have a lot of money. So I don't think people
- 11:32Speaker 3: fully have processed this. Now, there were some good wins
- 11:34Speaker 3: in Georgia. There were some good wins in other places.
- 11:37Speaker 3: But I think this is going to have a very,
- 11:39Speaker 3: very significant impact in November, unless Trump pulls a giant
- 11:45Speaker 3: golden rabbit out of a hat.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Okay. Are you there? I mean, this idea that all
- 11:59Speaker 1: this money that was spent didn't influence the outcome of this,
- 12:01Speaker 1: why do you think they spent all that money?
- 12:05Speaker 3: Right, because it was a sure thing Matthew was going
- 12:07Speaker 3: to win. Yeah. And they knew it. I mean, there
- 12:11Speaker 3: was zero chance he was going to lose this thing.
- 12:14Speaker 3: But if you look at age-adjusted polling... He was going
- 12:18Speaker 3: to win with the people that are 18 to 39,
- 12:19Speaker 3: up to 44, and so on, these younger categories. So
- 12:23Speaker 3: they spent another several million dollars in a text campaign
- 12:26Speaker 3: to get voters 62 and over, the Fox boomers, to
- 12:29Speaker 3: get the Fox boomers out because they're the least informed.
- 12:32Speaker 3: They know what Fox says. So, I mean, that's just
- 12:37Speaker 3: the truth. I mean, you know, Fox is extraordinarily pro-Israel.
- 12:42Speaker 3: You could ask Mark Levin. And Fox is not getting
- 12:45Speaker 3: into these issues anymore. that Matthew was working on that
- 12:49Speaker 3: nobody seems to know about. You know, where he was aligned,
- 12:53Speaker 3: by the way, with the Freedom Caucus. Now, if you say,
- 12:56Speaker 3: you know, the Republican Party should represent its voters, what
- 13:01Speaker 3: it could easily do is drop its, this silly corrupt
- 13:05Speaker 3: agenda it has, switch to the America First agenda, and
- 13:08Speaker 3: just follow the Freedom Caucus. Just do it this way.
- 13:12Speaker 3: They'll get it done. They'll think out. The Freedom Caucus
- 13:16Speaker 3: can point the way. They won't. And the reaction to
- 13:21Speaker 3: this Paxton thing was fascinating. So as it becomes clear
- 13:27Speaker 3: that Cornyn is going to lose because voters decided that,
- 13:31Speaker 3: without significant outside factors, Trump at the last minute, like
- 13:36Speaker 3: noon on Election Day, endorses Paxton. That's an attempt to
- 13:40Speaker 3: try to hold the coalition together and also to avoid
- 13:43Speaker 3: having endorsed the guy that was going to lose no
- 13:45Speaker 3: matter what. The reaction in the Senate is, how dare you?
- 13:50Speaker 3: The Senate, Thune, and the rest of the thugs think
- 13:54Speaker 3: that Trump was obligated to endorse Cornyn earlier in campaign
- 13:59Speaker 3: for him because that's what they command from the Senate.
- 14:03Speaker 3: They command obedience from the president, compliance from the president.
- 14:08Speaker 3: And Trump didn't do what they wanted him to do.
- 14:10Speaker 3: So Thune was out today talking about the president. Now,
- 14:13Speaker 3: is Israel going to put his dollars against Thune? No,
- 14:16Speaker 3: because this wasn't about America First or the Republican Party.
- 14:20Speaker 3: This was about Israel. You may not like it. You
- 14:23Speaker 3: may want to pretend it isn't real. Just look at
- 14:26Speaker 3: the numbers. You know, this $ 30 million didn't come from Buddhists.
- 14:33Speaker 3: So that's kind of where we are.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It's... So basically... Well, that's where we are. Don't disagree
- 14:45Speaker 1: with anything Trump does, or we'll be out to get you.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, do as you're told.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Do what Trump and Israel say. Because, look, he could
- 14:57Speaker 3: defy Trump. If Israel didn't care about Epstein and about
- 15:02Speaker 3: foreign aid, they wouldn't have come in on this fight.
- 15:07Speaker 1: All right, stand by. We'll take some calls for G2
- 15:10Speaker 1: coming up. News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Youngstown's news, weather, and talk station, 570 WKBN. All right,
- 15:19Speaker 6: with G2, you want to take calls?
- 15:22Speaker 4: Yes.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Let me read you one quick thing. This is a
- 15:24Speaker 3: text that just came in. It says, yesterday a voter
- 15:27Speaker 3: walked up and was speaking to me. I kept a
- 15:31Speaker 3: neutral but friendly face and body stance. She says, I
- 15:34Speaker 3: don't know why people are so upset with him, Trump.
- 15:38Speaker 3: He's done a lot. I can't wait to see all
- 15:40Speaker 3: the Trump Towers in Gaza. I mean, you can't pretend
- 15:45Speaker 3: Israel's not in this thing. So just a bizarre connection. And,
- 15:50Speaker 3: of course, that would indicate that this woman is a
- 15:52Speaker 3: Fox Boomer.
- 15:53Speaker 1: All right. Switchy to you on here.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Hey, good afternoon, Ron.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Good afternoon, G2.
- 15:59Speaker 1: All right. Got to move.
- 16:00Speaker 4: All right, guys.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Good.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Go ahead, Mike.
- 16:01Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:03Speaker 4: So I'm going to mention Thomas Massey without mentioning his name.
- 16:08Speaker 7: All right.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Go. What is the most important thing you can have
- 16:13Speaker 4: in your representative? Fidelity to the Constitution. And he did that.
- 16:21Speaker 4: I'm pretty upset today that Trump had gone after him.
- 16:25Speaker 4: He went after him harder than he does the Democrats
- 16:29Speaker 4: and also the people that are in Congress right now
- 16:33Speaker 4: in the Republican Party that are stalling the America First agenda.
- 16:38Speaker 4: which should be just constitutionally based. Now, if you can
- 16:44Speaker 4: tell me where Massey went wrong and went against his
- 16:50Speaker 4: oath to the Constitution, that would be a first for me,
- 16:54Speaker 4: because I can't find it.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Let me just say, I think, G2, I think that
- 16:58Speaker 1: was extremely well said. Your comment, please.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's exactly right. And that's what some folks are,
- 17:06Speaker 3: because they keep, talking about this obligation to other elected Republicans.
- 17:11Speaker 3: That's not the Republican Party. The Republican Party is supposed
- 17:14Speaker 3: to be its customer, the voter. It's supposed to be
- 17:17Speaker 3: bound in that box, that cage, the Constitution.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Exactly. And you know the other thing? We had a
- 17:24Speaker 4: major setback yesterday. Something died in America yesterday, and the
- 17:33Speaker 4: person that pulled the trigger on that I'm disgusted with
- 17:37Speaker 4: it today. Absolutely disgusted. So the people that think Trump
- 17:41Speaker 4: can do no wrong and you can't be critical, Ron,
- 17:44Speaker 4: I really appreciate the pushback you put on that because
- 17:49Speaker 4: these people, they get into this news cycle and they
- 17:53Speaker 4: think that everything that Trump touches is going to be gold.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And you know what, Gary?
- 17:58Speaker 4: That golden rabbit you're talking about, I hope our grandkids
- 18:02Speaker 4: don't have to pay for that. But I know damn
- 18:04Speaker 4: well they will.
- 18:06Speaker 3: All right, guys.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 18:07Speaker 4: I'll talk to you later.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That was very well said, G2. Oh, yeah. That's all
- 18:11Speaker 1: I can say is well done. You're on the air.
- 18:14Speaker 3: How did your constitutional amendment to eliminate property taxes in
- 18:19Speaker 3: the Ohio election yesterday do?
- 18:22Speaker 1: It wasn't on the ballot yesterday. They're still collecting signatures
- 18:26Speaker 1: to get it on the ballot, the signature. They haven't
- 18:29Speaker 1: collected enough signatures yet to put it on the ballot
- 18:32Speaker 1: in Ohio.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:33Speaker 4: And what is the timing that it could come to
- 18:36Speaker 4: be on a ballot?
- 18:37Speaker 5: How many years?
- 18:38Speaker 3: How many months?
- 18:39Speaker 5: What exactly?
- 18:40Speaker 4: Do you know the process once they get all the signatures?
- 18:44Speaker 1: I don't know. They're still collecting them to be able
- 18:47Speaker 1: to get enough signatures with a comfortable margin to submit them.
- 18:51Speaker 1: All right, we'll be right back. Day tire sale. News
- 18:54Speaker 1: Radio 570 WKVN. All right, before I... Oh, here we go. Now,
- 19:00Speaker 1: Ron Verb. Got it.
- 19:02Speaker 6: On News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You were talking yesterday, before I go back and take
- 19:08Speaker 1: more calls, about Massey being a conservative.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Reiterate that for our listeners, because... I'm telling you, here's
- 19:22Speaker 1: the problem, and I'll be specific with people. There are
- 19:27Speaker 1: people who think if Trump says it, you just do it.
- 19:33Speaker 1: When people talk like it's like a cult, like you
- 19:35Speaker 1: can't disagree with Trump, anything he says or does, you
- 19:39Speaker 1: have to agree with. And it was okay to criticize,
- 19:44Speaker 1: as I say, Biden supporters who did that, who who
- 19:49Speaker 1: anything biden did it was okay even though it was
- 19:52Speaker 1: a disaster and it was uh okay to criticize tim
- 19:56Speaker 1: ryan who voted with nancy pelosi in a party all
- 19:59Speaker 1: the time and didn't represent his local constituents so you
- 20:03Speaker 1: understand my point the criticism that we had on on
- 20:06Speaker 1: um The Democrats, well, now we can't have that same
- 20:13Speaker 1: criticism for our own party. We've got to look the
- 20:16Speaker 1: other way. Anyway, talk about that Massey stuff on how
- 20:20Speaker 1: he's a conservative. I'm supposed to sit here and say
- 20:23Speaker 1: Massey is the equivalent of Liz Cheney. I mean, this
- 20:29Speaker 1: is how they want to portray this guy. And they
- 20:31Speaker 1: went after him for three reasons. Because Trump ran on
- 20:34Speaker 1: releasing the Epstein files, and he didn't do it. And
- 20:37Speaker 1: Massey supported releasing the Epstein files. Massey's against all foreign
- 20:42Speaker 1: aid of a country that's $ 40 trillion in debt. Not
- 20:45Speaker 1: just Israel, but all foreign aid. And Massey was opposed
- 20:49Speaker 1: to the war in Iran. So because he can think
- 20:52Speaker 1: those things through and views them differently, he's an enemy
- 20:56Speaker 1: of Trump. Just as Rand Paul must now be an
- 20:59Speaker 1: enemy of Trump. So do we pinpoint Rand Paul, Massey,
- 21:03Speaker 1: all of these people who have any disagreements with the
- 21:06Speaker 1: president and say they must be removed from office? So
- 21:10Speaker 1: we put a guy in to replace Massey, who wouldn't
- 21:12Speaker 1: debate Massey, who you don't know where he stands on
- 21:15Speaker 1: any of the issues. He is truly a Trojan candidate.
- 21:20Speaker 1: He's 68 years old, but we're going to put him in,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and he's going to vote how they tell him.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Yes. And that's the primary qualification this guy has. All right?
- 21:34Speaker 3: I mean, you say, well, wait, he's a Navy SEAL. Well,
- 21:37Speaker 3: so is Van Orden. Van Orden's got a 63% F rating.
- 21:41Speaker 3: So being in the military does not guarantee that you're
- 21:44Speaker 3: actually going to be a good member of Congress. And
- 21:47Speaker 3: when you say, well, conservative or not conservative, there are
- 21:49Speaker 3: a bunch of different groups that rate conservatives and non-conservatives. So,
- 21:53Speaker 3: you know, they give Fetterman a six because he says
- 21:57Speaker 3: some good things, but he votes with the left. But
- 21:59Speaker 3: Manatee in almost all of those polls ends up with
- 22:02Speaker 3: the highest ratings. Now, when the party shifted, when they
- 22:05Speaker 3: took control of the House and Senate, and the party
- 22:08Speaker 3: began pushing like the big, beautiful bill, this thing was
- 22:12Speaker 3: a disaster. Now, we wanted the pieces of it that
- 22:17Speaker 3: were the American agenda. That's what we hired the Republicans for.
- 22:19Speaker 3: It's why we sent them to D.C. And they said, well,
- 22:22Speaker 3: we're going to give you a little bit of that agenda,
- 22:23Speaker 3: not a lot, a little bit. We're going to lock
- 22:25Speaker 3: in the tax breaks or the tax reforms that were
- 22:28Speaker 3: done years ago because we have to do that or
- 22:32Speaker 3: our donors will kill us.
- 22:33Speaker 5: But we're going to make you spend an.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Extra $ 5 trillion to get this done. Massive amounts of funding. Oh,
- 22:40Speaker 3: by the way, we're going to kill Doge. We're going
- 22:44Speaker 3: to give you a $ 9. 4 billion.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Savings out of Doge cuts.
- 22:49Speaker 3: You know, get rid of NPR, which is politically popular
- 22:52Speaker 3: and silly for the government to be funding and all that.
- 22:55Speaker 3: But that's all. You're going to get the $ 9. 4 and
- 22:57Speaker 3: the rest of it. We're going to hide the fraud.
- 22:58Speaker 3: We're not going to take action on anything. We're going
- 23:00Speaker 3: to support the corruption. And you could pound salt. Thomas
- 23:03Speaker 3: Matty years ago began saying we can't continue to fund
- 23:07Speaker 3: the United States government with continuing resolutions. He consistently said
- 23:11Speaker 3: we can't continue to put ourselves in a position where
- 23:13Speaker 3: we have these crises in funding all the time. We
- 23:17Speaker 3: have to put a meaningful budget together and we have
- 23:19Speaker 3: to cut spending. Now, I agree with that. I mean,
- 23:23Speaker 3: the only people that don't agree with that are the
- 23:24Speaker 3: people that have their nose in the trough that are
- 23:28Speaker 3: sucking up all this government money. So Massey, this didn't
- 23:32Speaker 3: start because he didn't start saying, I hate Israel, let's
- 23:34Speaker 3: not cut government funding. He said, we're $ 40 trillion in debt.
- 23:37Speaker 3: We cannot afford $ 2 trillion deficit. We cannot keep funding
- 23:41Speaker 3: this thing with these temporary funding resolutions. We've got to
- 23:44Speaker 3: put in a regular budget. It's got to be fiscally sound.
- 23:48Speaker 3: That now makes him a radical anti-Semitic guy. He hates Jews.
- 23:52Speaker 3: That's crazy. I understand that Israel wants desperately to keep
- 23:57Speaker 3: the money flowing. Okay, I get it. But saying the
- 24:01Speaker 3: United States is bankrupt doesn't make you anti-Semitic. And then
- 24:05Speaker 3: the Epstein files. Now, we've been through this for 10,
- 24:08Speaker 3: 12 years, this Epstein thing. And everybody understands that Ehud
- 24:14Speaker 3: Barak was on the island very often. And yet no
- 24:17Speaker 3: one seems to think he was a client. Well, what
- 24:20Speaker 3: was he doing there? This had some element of deep
- 24:24Speaker 3: state in it. We know about the CIA moving an
- 24:26Speaker 3: airline into Columbus, Ohio and all that. we know this
- 24:29Speaker 3: was a deep state operation we know that the uh...
- 24:32Speaker 3: that the murder of dr burdock the uh..
- 24:35Speaker 4: Uh..
- 24:35Speaker 3: Delay maxwell family were in the dot we we know
- 24:39Speaker 3: these things all the sudden the big expensive bill gets
- 24:43Speaker 3: funded they make us give an extra five trillion spending
- 24:48Speaker 3: and then that you know who shows up in dc
- 24:50Speaker 3: meets with what they call it war council which is
- 24:52Speaker 3: like ted cruz adam shift chuck schumer amy klobuchar uh..
- 24:56Speaker 4: Uh..
- 24:56Speaker 3: Mccormick this uh... whatever his first name is, Dave McCormick,
- 25:00Speaker 3: and all these people. And then the next day, the
- 25:04Speaker 3: Epstein files are a hoax. And what did we say
- 25:07Speaker 3: at the time? Trump cut a deal. We don't know
- 25:09Speaker 3: what he got for it. We hope it was really good. Well,
- 25:12Speaker 3: he did cut a deal, and the American people responded
- 25:14Speaker 3: by saying, we don't support Trump anymore in large numbers,
- 25:17Speaker 3: and specifically in young people. He shed huge amounts of support.
- 25:22Speaker 3: We talked about it at the time. We went through
- 25:23Speaker 3: the numbers. Matthew stands up and says, listen, not good enough.
- 25:28Speaker 3: We've got to expose these things, meet with the people. Oh,
- 25:31Speaker 3: he's a grandstander. Well, I'll tell you what. I don't
- 25:34Speaker 3: know where this comes from. He's a grandstander. This was
- 25:37Speaker 3: an extremely important issue to the voter and specifically the
- 25:41Speaker 3: coalition that supported him, that supported Trump. And by refusing
- 25:46Speaker 3: to expose this, by refusing to prosecute, by refusing to
- 25:49Speaker 3: pursue this, they now have created a weapon they've handed
- 25:53Speaker 3: to the other side. Now the other side runs around
- 25:55Speaker 3: and says, Trump protected pedophiles. Now, that's the crazy thing.
- 26:02Speaker 3: The people who were Epstein's clients are now running around saying,
- 26:06Speaker 3: Trump protected Epstein's clients for political gain. This was, I
- 26:11Speaker 3: don't know what the deal was cut. It was a
- 26:13Speaker 3: very expensive deal. All right, so he's got 99% approval
- 26:16Speaker 3: in Israel. He's got 34%, 36% in the United States,
- 26:17Speaker 3: something like that. And we have a crisis heading into
- 26:24Speaker 3: the midterms. You know, Massey was working on a lot
- 26:27Speaker 3: of other things that were very conservative, that were things
- 26:31Speaker 3: that all of the Trump supporters would support. And none
- 26:34Speaker 3: of those were in the $ 30 million ad campaign. They
- 26:37Speaker 3: were out there going, listen, Massey doesn't want the surveillance
- 26:40Speaker 3: in the cars or the kill switch. But ignore that. No, no,
- 26:46Speaker 3: they just said things like, Massey voted against the Save
- 26:48Speaker 3: America Act, which is a blatant lie put out by
- 26:51Speaker 3: Ed Gellerin. That's going to be a disaster in Congress.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I wouldn't vote for him. Now, another comment Rich made
- 26:57Speaker 3: is that his sons aren't going to vote. What polling
- 27:00Speaker 3: showed in Texas is that if if Cornyn was the candidate.
- 27:05Speaker 5: Or Trump endorsed Cornyn, 30 percent of voters weren't going
- 27:07Speaker 5: to the polls.
- 27:09Speaker 3: And this is something the party misses. They think all
- 27:11Speaker 3: they have to do is be less crazy than Democrats,
- 27:14Speaker 3: less corrupt than Democrats, at least in appearance. And people
- 27:17Speaker 3: will be forced to vote for them because otherwise they
- 27:20Speaker 3: get Democrat's. That's not how this works. If you look
- 27:23Speaker 3: at turnout in many, many areas yesterday, or a week
- 27:27Speaker 3: ago in Ohio, two weeks ago in Ohio, yesterday in Georgia,
- 27:31Speaker 3: if you look at all these different turnout numbers, you'll
- 27:33Speaker 3: find in a lot of places turnout was much higher
- 27:36Speaker 3: for Democrats than it was for Republicans because they don't
- 27:39Speaker 3: have enthusiasm, they don't have excitement, and in many places
- 27:41Speaker 3: they don't have a choice to make because the Republican
- 27:44Speaker 3: Party has been eliminating primary contests, chasing out competitors so
- 27:48Speaker 3: that a selected candidate can advance. The amount of work
- 27:54Speaker 3: that has to be done between now and November to
- 27:56Speaker 3: get this momentum back, to regain the coalition, to cast
- 28:01Speaker 3: people like.
- 28:02Speaker 5: Thune in a good light, this is a heavy task.
- 28:05Speaker 3: This is going to be hard. Now, other people say, well,
- 28:08Speaker 3: MAGA's great. Look at what happened in Georgia, the Supreme Court,
- 28:10Speaker 3: and so on. None of this is universal. There are
- 28:13Speaker 3: no absolutes. But I'm telling you, if you look at
- 28:17Speaker 3: the polling, well, we'll see some more clarity in the
- 28:19Speaker 3: next few days. But I suspect that the polling we're
- 28:22Speaker 3: about to see in a couple of days. I hope
- 28:24Speaker 3: it's better than I fear. But I think it's going
- 28:26Speaker 3: to show 18 to 39, you know, 40 to 45.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I think they're going to show that in these categories, Trump, MAGA,
- 28:33Speaker 3: and the rest have lost huge numbers of people. And
- 28:37Speaker 3: the Democrat spread is going to increase on what they
- 28:40Speaker 3: call the generic ballot. We'll see what it looks like
- 28:43Speaker 3: from legitimate pollsters. So anyway, yeah, Massey was conservative. He
- 28:48Speaker 3: crossed swords with Trump. More importantly, with these donors, they
- 28:55Speaker 3: got this guy to run, who hates Trump, by the way,
- 28:58Speaker 3: and they spent $ 30 million lying to the public to
- 29:01Speaker 3: get him out.
- 29:02Speaker 1: A guy that people know nothing about where he stands.
- 29:05Speaker 3: No, they know nothing. They don't know. I mean, he
- 29:07Speaker 3: went through for the Republican Party when Trump won. No,
- 29:11Speaker 3: they know nothing about where he stands. He's an ABC.
- 29:16Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Look.
- 29:20Speaker 1: How often do you see the guy that's the opposition
- 29:24Speaker 1: candidate not want to debate the incumbent? This guy didn't
- 29:27Speaker 1: want to debate.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Well, he knew he didn't have to. A, he couldn't.
- 29:31Speaker 3: He would be destroyed. And B, he didn't have to
- 29:35Speaker 3: because he had 30 million reasons not to. All he
- 29:39Speaker 3: could do is hurt himself. with an unprepared message when
- 29:43Speaker 3: he had $ 30 million pushing prepared messages, text campaigns, and
- 29:46Speaker 3: every form of advertising you could imagine. To pretend that
- 29:49Speaker 3: this is somehow a normal election is naive. This is
- 29:53Speaker 3: not a normal election. If this funding was in line
- 29:56Speaker 3: with past cycles, we could say, well, it's normal. It
- 30:00Speaker 3: was nothing like that. And again, Massey's support, he gained 20%
- 30:05Speaker 3: in voting. And suddenly all these people come out that
- 30:08Speaker 3: never voted in one of these kinds of elections before.
- 30:11Speaker 3: They were not expected to vote, and they appear out
- 30:13Speaker 3: of nowhere because there was a massive campaign to turn
- 30:16Speaker 3: out voters and to make them believe that Massey is
- 30:19Speaker 3: a problem. Now listen, so Trump says Massey's a problem.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I disagree. I'm comfortable disagreeing. Here's another problem, what I
- 30:27Speaker 3: call binarism. What I mean is Either you have to
- 30:32Speaker 3: bend the knee and listen to Trump and obey every
- 30:34Speaker 3: word and go along with every idea and repeat everything
- 30:36Speaker 3: he says and worship him, or you hate him. Well,
- 30:40Speaker 3: you know, no, we're not six, okay? It's not kindergarten here.
- 30:45Speaker 3: You could actually disagree with Trump and still support him. Well,
- 30:48Speaker 3: are you upset you voted for Trump?
- 30:50Speaker 4: No, no, no, no.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I voted for Trump six times. I'd probably vote for
- 30:54Speaker 3: him again if I could. No, I disagree with him.
- 30:58Speaker 3: I think he's lost his way. I think this focus
- 31:00Speaker 3: on Israel is out of control. Go back to Rubio
- 31:03Speaker 3: explaining how we got into this war. I don't think
- 31:05Speaker 3: we should have let them walk us into this war.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I think that this focus on the American agenda has
- 31:10Speaker 3: to ramp up. And rather than seeing him going after
- 31:12Speaker 3: people with 96 scores on things like the Freedom Index
- 31:16Speaker 3: or the Conservative Review, I'd like to see him go
- 31:19Speaker 3: after the people with the 63s, the Van Ordens, and say, Hey, Derek,
- 31:23Speaker 3: where are you at with the voting, dude? Why don't
- 31:25Speaker 3: you get on board with the American agenda? And I'd
- 31:30Speaker 3: like to see somebody who spent $ 30 million beating Thune
- 31:33Speaker 3: over the last 90 days forcing him to take action
- 31:36Speaker 3: to advance the SAVE Act.
- 31:39Speaker 8: Nothing.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Candidates all over this country will not be funded who
- 31:43Speaker 3: are going up against hardcore radical leftist candidates, and they
- 31:46Speaker 3: will be underfunded in many cases if you look at
- 31:49Speaker 3: sort of past few years. Typically, a Republican in many
- 31:52Speaker 3: markets is going to be outfunded three to 13 times,
- 31:55Speaker 3: 14 times to one, 10 times to one, five times
- 31:59Speaker 3: to one. And we're going to put $ 30 billion into
- 32:02Speaker 3: getting rid of a guy with a score of 96
- 32:04Speaker 3: to 101? Insanity. Unless your mission is not the American agenda.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Unless you have a different mission. And then it makes
- 32:14Speaker 3: perfect sense.
- 32:15Speaker 1: With G2 calls, let's get underway here. You're on the air.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I hate to burst you guys' bubble, but Matthew,
- 32:26Speaker 7: I mean, I really like the guy. He's a Democrat,
- 32:31Speaker 7: my friends. He's a Democrat. Like 80% of his funding
- 32:36Speaker 7: comes from Democrats. And the stuff he voted against would
- 32:42Speaker 7: have crushed the agenda that Trump had. All the rest
- 32:46Speaker 7: of that stuff is just white noise.
- 32:50Speaker 3: This guy..
- 32:51Speaker 7: Needed to go.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Bye-bye. And the trouble is..
- 32:56Speaker 1: Okay, now silence yourself. G2, your comment.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's not bursting any bubbles. That's the standard rhetoric
- 33:04Speaker 3: coming off of Fox and coming out of the $ 30 million.
- 33:06Speaker 3: And it's simply untrue.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Dr.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Steve Turley. You ever hear of Dr.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Steve Turley?
- 33:11Speaker 3: I know who Steve Turley is. Yeah, yeah.
- 33:14Speaker 7: Let me explain something to you.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Well, you know, listen for a minute, caller. Go ahead.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I went through a bunch of this kind of crap
- 33:25Speaker 3: over the last few days. I'm telling you, it is weak.
- 33:28Speaker 3: It is not logical. Here's what you should do. Go
- 33:31Speaker 3: start looking at the rankings of conservative websites and people
- 33:36Speaker 3: who do analysis and start looking at the things he
- 33:39Speaker 3: voted against and then find out why. If you can't
- 33:42Speaker 3: explain why he voted against the bills he voted against,
- 33:45Speaker 3: you have literally no idea what you're talking about.
- 33:50Speaker 7: I understand why he voted against him.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I get it.
- 33:53Speaker 7: Unfortunately, that's not the Trump agenda.
- 33:59Speaker 9: So what do you say, G2, to the guy that
- 34:06Speaker 9: says he's all for Trump and all this kind of stuff?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Oil prices didn't go up because of the war. It's
- 34:12Speaker 1: because of the oil companies.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Well, look, I understand the arguments he's hearing, but the
- 34:17Speaker 3: reality is when you disrupt 21 million barrels a day,
- 34:21Speaker 3: the Saudis then take a little while to get back
- 34:22Speaker 3: on their 7 million. You get a little more coming
- 34:24Speaker 3: out of the UAE. The truth is when you disrupt
- 34:26Speaker 3: the market like that and prices jump after, that's why
- 34:31Speaker 3: they jump. It wasn't just a miracle. And by the
- 34:34Speaker 3: same token, they went down because of what Trump did
- 34:36Speaker 3: when he took office. So he drove them down, and
- 34:39Speaker 3: then he did the war, and it's absolutely the war
- 34:41Speaker 3: that drove them back up.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And so if Massey's now eliminated because he was the
- 34:48Speaker 1: worst ever, according to Trump, then I guess the American
- 34:51Speaker 1: first agenda will sail through.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Well, that's the idea. I said this to a bunch
- 34:56Speaker 3: of people over the last couple of days. Well, now
- 34:58Speaker 3: that this hindrance is out, we should see the Save
- 35:01Speaker 3: America Act. We should see fiscal conservatism. We should see
- 35:04Speaker 3: the entire American agenda go through. We should see the
- 35:06Speaker 3: increase in mass deportations come back because it was Massey, right?
- 35:12Speaker 3: The $ 30 million problem. Now, let's see what happens over
- 35:16Speaker 3: the next week, because right now the Senate's saying to Trump,
- 35:18Speaker 3: you didn't save our friend. And that's more important than
- 35:22Speaker 3: this nation, the voters, the agenda, the Constitution. You were
- 35:27Speaker 3: supposed to save our friend, the worthless, and the American people,
- 35:30Speaker 3: John Cornyn. And you didn't do it, so now we're
- 35:34Speaker 3: not going to move your agenda forward. Well, they weren't
- 35:36Speaker 3: doing it anyway. I wish he had $ 30 million to
- 35:40Speaker 3: go after Trump. and the rest of these clowns and
- 35:43Speaker 3: expose them for what they are. But they spent it
- 35:47Speaker 3: on Massey because he made the Israelis angry.
- 35:54Speaker 1: It's incredible.
- 35:55Speaker 3: And again, I'm not picking on Israel. I don't hate Jews.
- 35:58Speaker 3: I'm telling you, these were not Buddhists. They were not
- 36:00Speaker 3: doing it because they are dedicated to the American agenda.
- 36:03Speaker 3: They specifically said, AIPAC said, we did this because of Israel.
- 36:10Speaker 1: More tomorrow. Thank you, G2. Appreciate it. Guardians coming up.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Stay tuned.
