Ryanair just dropped the price for family seating — parents flying with kids under 12 can now sit together for free, ditching the previous $13.50 per flight fee for what they called a “mandatory family seat.” The change follows pressure from the Competition and Markets Authority, which investigated the charges — a move Ryanair initially dismissed as “bogus” but now reluctantly accepts as an industry standard.
