- 1:03Speaker 1: Lots of hot topics with the one, the only, the
- 1:06Speaker 1: original blue-eyed, dashing father of the year, Chris Frangiola.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Thank you very much. Thanks for saying father of the
- 1:14Speaker 3: year because I truly believe I am father of the year.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I kind of feel like you need to milk that more.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Went to a gymnastics class yesterday with her. First one, gymnastics.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I took Mackenzie to gymnastics.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah. How did she do?
- 1:26Speaker 1: She was like pretty good, but I remember I had
- 1:28Speaker 1: to bring the boys and then they were like disruptive
- 1:30Speaker 1: and the lady was Russian and she was really like,
- 1:32Speaker 1: you can't bring those boys anymore. And then I just
- 1:34Speaker 1: stopped going.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I'm seeing that she's in there. She's four and she's
- 1:38Speaker 3: in like a class where they don't do anything.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They just run around.
- 1:41Speaker 3: But there's kids in there who are like 15 and look,
- 1:43Speaker 3: I mean, they're great.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Well, yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 3: And there's like a Russian coach, a man who's just
- 1:47Speaker 3: like screaming at them. Like, I thought we couldn't do
- 1:49Speaker 3: that anymore. That was something that went out.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Wait, which one are you at? I won't tell. It's
- 1:53Speaker 1: right here with the hills. Okay, don't tell me which
- 1:55Speaker 1: one you're at. Oh, because my niece was very competitive
- 1:58Speaker 1: in it. She was at a. hardcore one, I want
- 2:01Speaker 1: to say, in like North Hollywood or Van Nuys.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 1: But she's still great. She's still doing, she's like still
- 2:05Speaker 1: a full stunt woman and stuff.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I thought these girls were doing amazing. And as soon
- 2:09Speaker 3: as they landed, he'd go, what are you doing? Your
- 2:11Speaker 3: hands straight, not the arms, straight. And the girls, I mean,
- 2:14Speaker 3: the other girls were like, no. I was like, wow,
- 2:17Speaker 3: I thought, because gymnastics has been through it, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 3: they've had all sorts of scandals. I thought at this point,
- 2:22Speaker 3: you gotta, everything's gotta be real nice and no problems,
- 2:26Speaker 3: but apparently not. He's screamin'. That hasn't stopped. I also
- 2:30Speaker 3: think they scream in a good way because I think
- 2:33Speaker 3: they see something in these kids. I don't want you
- 2:37Speaker 3: to waste this talent. Nobody ever screamed at me because
- 2:39Speaker 3: they never saw anything.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Me too. I totally agree.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Totally agree. I didn't have anyone.
- 2:44Speaker 1: All of a sudden, the kids are just.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:47Speaker 1: They can just do that shit.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Right. Something's there. It's amazing.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I would never be able to do it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: None of my kids were able to.
- 2:53Speaker 2: No.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I don't think my daughter's... I mean, who knows? Right now,
- 2:56Speaker 3: she's running pretty fast.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:58Speaker 3: And that's all. We can hang on to that at least.
- 3:01Speaker 3: She runs pretty fast.
- 3:03Speaker 1: We have some stories that you brought, which I wrote down.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But I want to get into the thing that everyone–
- 3:08Speaker 1: people are talking about this too. So I think it
- 3:10Speaker 1: was Friday that Kelly Rowland– Yes. A star in her
- 3:15Speaker 1: own right, former of Destiny Child, went and did Hoda
- 3:21Speaker 1: and Jenna. And then she was supposed to co-host like
- 3:23Speaker 1: the second hour.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I think she was a guest on the second hour
- 3:26Speaker 3: and was going to take over the third hour, which
- 3:29Speaker 3: is Jenna and Hoda.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And it got out by sources that she was not
- 3:36Speaker 1: happy with the dressing room and was like, fuck this,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and bailed on the third hour coasting.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Of co-hosting. And everyone was chiming in on it. And,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you know, Bethany Frankel was like, you know, look. And
- 3:47Speaker 1: then she took out her thing where she was just like,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I've done it. The place, basically putting your makeup on
- 3:52Speaker 1: in a closet and da-da-da. And the other thought was,
- 3:57Speaker 1: is it because J-Lo was there and J-Lo had the
- 3:59Speaker 1: bigger dressing room?
- 4:00Speaker 3: Well, that's what I heard. She wanted the bigger one.
- 4:02Speaker 3: J-Lo was already occupying it. So, I mean, but whatever.
- 4:06Speaker 3: If you're just going to do star power, J-Lo's bigger.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Kelly Rowland's a big star, but J-Lo's bigger.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I think what happened was, I think it just came
- 4:17Speaker 1: to Kelly Rowland on the wrong fucking day. Yeah. And
- 4:19Speaker 1: sometimes in this business, it comes on a day where
- 4:24Speaker 1: you just feel like so disrespected. Yeah. And so unvalued
- 4:29Speaker 1: that you're like, hold.
- 4:31Speaker 3: On a minute.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm co-hosting a whole third hour of something for free.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 4:36Speaker 1: With topics and bullshit. And this is my fucking room?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Like, no. I'm out. I'm out. I am not feeling it.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'm out. That's what I think happened.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And her people were probably just like, you know, not
- 4:52Speaker 1: knowing exactly what to do. Hoda has since spoken and said,
- 4:58Speaker 1: which I think is the right thing to say, she
- 4:59Speaker 1: can come back anytime, have my dressing room. Yeah. Put
- 5:02Speaker 1: it to rest. She doesn't want to be woman against woman.
- 5:04Speaker 4: No.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But, yeah, these are the kind of things that happened.
- 5:08Speaker 3: And also, if Kelly Rowland, I'm sure she's probably a
- 5:12Speaker 3: smart lady, she should come back. Everybody will have fun
- 5:15Speaker 3: with it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 3: You know, everyone, these shows all need ratings right now.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I mean, nobody, TV is, you know, especially network television
- 5:22Speaker 3: is dying. Right. So have her back. Everyone laughs about it.
- 5:26Speaker 3: She held a copy, gives her her dressing room, shoot
- 5:28Speaker 3: a bit. Yes, totally shoot a bit. I mean, come on,
- 5:30Speaker 3: have some fun with it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Are they looking to hire Chris Frangiolla for the Today Show?
- 5:34Speaker 3: I mean, why not?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Also, I also think like I've had that happen too,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and it haunted me for years.
- 5:41Speaker 3: A bad dressing room?
- 5:42Speaker 1: I felt like maybe I had been a bit diva. Okay,
- 5:45Speaker 1: so I would go on The Tonight Show and do
- 5:49Speaker 1: this thing. I tried it like five times. And it
- 5:52Speaker 1: was like a little bit they had going where it
- 5:53Speaker 1: was like a panel-y bit. And it was called Could've, Would've, Should've.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And it was while we were on Chelsea. And I
- 6:00Speaker 1: never did stand-up on The Tonight Show, but I got
- 6:01Speaker 1: to do this little funny bit.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Is that Jay Leno on The Tonight Show?
- 6:04Speaker 1: With Jay Leno, and he could not have been nicer.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And so the last time I went on it, I
- 6:11Speaker 1: was having like a stressful situation with a friend, which
- 6:14Speaker 1: we're texting back and forth. So I wasn't like in
- 6:16Speaker 1: the greatest mood. And I went to the Get My
- 6:20Speaker 1: Makeup Done, which– The makeup artist, this guy, we'd always
- 6:24Speaker 1: had this great rapport or whatever. And anyway, I was
- 6:28Speaker 1: not really liking how I looked.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And I was just like tense. And I finally, I'm like,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's fine. Let me just finish it in the room.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So I go in the room and I finish my makeup. Hence,
- 6:36Speaker 1: this is the reason why I do my own makeup
- 6:38Speaker 1: all the time now.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Because of this. I do the show. The show goes fine.
- 6:44Speaker 1: They never, ever asked me back. And the show was
- 6:48Speaker 1: on for years. I never knew why. I finally asked,
- 6:52Speaker 1: who's the guy that came from the booking of that
- 6:55Speaker 1: now works for Kelly Clarkson? That worked for us. Yeah.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm going to say his name. There's nothing wrong. This
- 6:59Speaker 1: is not a bad story.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Bob Reed. Bob Reed, yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I finally said one day, Bob, you've got to tell
- 7:08Speaker 1: me what happened. Was it the makeup artist getting his
- 7:12Speaker 1: feelings hurt because I was a little snippy? This is
- 7:15Speaker 1: like two years later.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And he goes, no, the woman who was above me
- 7:22Speaker 1: just decided she wasn't into you anymore.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Oh.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And she just didn't want to book you for stuff anymore.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And that was it.
- 7:29Speaker 3: That's the business.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And that was it. It had nothing to do with
- 7:32Speaker 1: the makeup, nothing to do with me being snippy. But
- 7:35Speaker 1: what I learned from that was like, this will never
- 7:38Speaker 1: happen to me.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I come hair and makeup ready. And then I let
- 7:42Speaker 1: the hair and makeup people judge me if they so choose.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Like then I look even better. Their job's super easy
- 7:51Speaker 1: and they love me. And they're like, that was the
- 7:53Speaker 1: easiest job I ever did. And I looked good. Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 1: So that's one thing I do because God forbid, I mean,
- 8:00Speaker 1: with all, and then with everybody wanting to tell on
- 8:02Speaker 1: stars and their bad behavior, it's fucking terrifying out there.
- 8:07Speaker 3: One time I had one guy, I forget we were
- 8:09Speaker 3: shooting something. We were doing press for a show. I
- 8:13Speaker 3: think we were all on it. It was at Chelsea
- 8:16Speaker 3: Lately Time.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Oh, for After Late Leaves.
- 8:17Speaker 3: And the guy's like, you want me to do your hair?
- 8:19Speaker 3: And usually it's just fine. Yeah, what is your hair?
- 8:22Speaker 3: And I was like, yeah. I was like, go ahead. Yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 3: get the start treatment. And I saw the comb come out.
- 8:26Speaker 1: The hot comb.
- 8:27Speaker 3: The hot comb. And he's woo. And no mirror. You
- 8:30Speaker 3: know how they turn you away from the mirror? I'm like, oh,
- 8:33Speaker 3: I need to see this. But I can't. And I
- 8:34Speaker 3: don't want to say turn me back around.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Because you're afraid you're going to be Kelly Rowland.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Right, exactly. And he's woo. And I'm feeling like this
- 8:41Speaker 3: is getting big. This is big. Because my hair could
- 8:44Speaker 3: be big if I didn't taper.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:46Speaker 3: And sure enough, he spun me around. I was like, oh,
- 8:48Speaker 3: my God.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Did you look like a Backstreet Boy or what?
- 8:50Speaker 3: No, I look like Tammy Faye Baker. I mean, it
- 8:52Speaker 3: was just like.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 3: And Johnny Kansas was shooting it. And I walked in.
- 8:59Speaker 3: He's like, what? What is this? Is this a joke?
- 9:01Speaker 3: I'm like, it's not. Like, it's not. I had to
- 9:04Speaker 3: go in the bathroom and wet it and oh my God.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Never again. I don't.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It's so stressful if you don't know the hair and
- 9:10Speaker 1: makeup people. That's why I say to anybody, do your
- 9:13Speaker 1: own hair and makeup and then just have them enhance it.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Don't go with.
- 9:17Speaker 1: A wet head. Yeah. Also that can be, that can
- 9:20Speaker 1: screw you too. Sometimes people have come with a wet
- 9:22Speaker 1: head hoping to get a big blowout while they're there. Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 1: And there was a, in a miscommunication and they're like,
- 9:27Speaker 1: we don't have time to blow out this girl's hair.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I'm doing four other people's hair. Who does this fucking
- 9:32Speaker 1: bitch think she is? But there was a miscommunication between
- 9:35Speaker 1: her PR person and, and like, meanwhile, when JLo did
- 9:39Speaker 1: our show, I remember they said the hair and makeup people,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and this is 10 years ago or whatever it was,
- 9:44Speaker 1: was requesting $ 10, 000. Oh, For Chelsea Lately, this is what
- 9:51Speaker 1: I recall, allegedly, $ 10, 000 were her hair and makeup people.
- 9:55Speaker 1: To come into.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Chelsea Lately and do her hair.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Which Chelsea Lately would have to pay them.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:01Speaker 1: And I can't remember. I think they got them down
- 10:04Speaker 1: to five or something. But they bargained. But they bargained.
- 10:07Speaker 1: But like, yeah.
- 10:07Speaker 3: She only looks half as good, but yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I mean, amazing. I mean, what can you do? J-Lo
- 10:12Speaker 3: is like.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about J-Lo. So this, have you heard
- 10:16Speaker 1: about this Amazon Prime?
- 10:17Speaker 4: I have.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I heard about the movie.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Okay, so.
- 10:22Speaker 3: From the dreams of Jennifer Lopez. That's what they say
- 10:24Speaker 3: in the.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Basically, it is a visual album, but it's more of a,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it is a full length movie.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So it's like music videos. But vignettes, right? You're not
- 10:34Speaker 3: following a story.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Let me just tell you. It's so weird and bad.
- 10:39Speaker 1: It's like, you're like, definitely, I'm one of probably millions
- 10:44Speaker 1: this weekend that was like, what the fuck am I watching? Okay. Right.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So it starts out with her monologuing that in Puerto
- 10:52Speaker 1: Rican culture, which we know she's Puerto Rican, there was
- 10:55Speaker 1: an old story of a love-torn thing. And after they
- 10:59Speaker 1: broke up, one turned into a rose and one turned
- 11:01Speaker 1: into a cockatoo or whatever, a bird.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 11:04Speaker 1: And so here's the story of love. And then each
- 11:07Speaker 1: vignette video is a song. And so it starts out
- 11:12Speaker 1: where she's a futuristic Rosie the Riveter. And those women
- 11:16Speaker 1: all are dancing with her. And the heart is like
- 11:18Speaker 1: a machine. Then the next one, she's in literally a
- 11:21Speaker 1: glass house.
- 11:22Speaker 3: This is where I turn it off.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I couldn't get through it. I actually looked up summaries
- 11:27Speaker 1: because I was like, I kind of want to talk
- 11:28Speaker 1: about it. And it's all like, you know, I guess
- 11:31Speaker 1: the fun is for you to, if you're a huge fan,
- 11:33Speaker 1: to be like, oh, this is husband number one. Oh,
- 11:35Speaker 1: this was the waiter. Oh, this was Casper. Oh, this
- 11:38Speaker 1: was Ben Affleck number one. The first time around, this
- 11:41Speaker 1: is Mark Anthony.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Is she doing songs that are supposed to be?
- 11:43Speaker 1: Yes, it's all about her love life. Then here is
- 11:45Speaker 1: where it gets crazy. She has little acting parts. So
- 11:49Speaker 1: she has, I think, I want to say Fat Joe. God,
- 11:52Speaker 1: they're going to kill me if I'm wrong. It is
- 11:54Speaker 1: Fat Joe.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Okay, thank God. It is Fat Joe.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Okay, he's a therapist.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Which is a stretch. They just put him in a
- 11:59Speaker 1: gray sweater.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And he's her therapist. Can you imagine your J-Lo like this?
- 12:03Speaker 1: First of all, First of all, I don't even know
- 12:06Speaker 1: that you should be picking a male therapist, quite honestly,
- 12:08Speaker 1: if you're a woman. I'm just going to say that
- 12:10Speaker 1: right now.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Fat Joe's interesting casting for that.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Okay. So anyway.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Mandy Patinkin would have been a good, you know, casting
- 12:17Speaker 3: on that one.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And who's the new guy now and blah, blah, blah. Okay.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Then they have this reoccurring sketch going.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Which has Trevor. Noah.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Noah.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah. It has Kiki Palmer. It has Jane Fonda.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Oh.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It has- All these other people that her friends that
- 12:38Speaker 1: she said, she asked him, just come for an hour.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm like, there's no way this was an hour. Hair, makeup. Right.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And then I'm sure they did the vignettes by themselves.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's very AI, very cyber, whatever you call it. What
- 12:52Speaker 1: was AI before it was called AI?
- 12:55Speaker 3: Reality?
- 12:55Speaker 1: No, no. I don't know. No, but like- Like the
- 13:01Speaker 1: word for special effects. AI before it was AI.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Special effects, I guess.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:07Speaker 3: I know what you're saying. CGI. CGI, yes.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Exactly what I was thinking. I knew there was a C. Okay.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So they're sitting there and it's like the worst SNL
- 13:18Speaker 1: sketch you've ever seen. They're like, what is going on
- 13:21Speaker 1: with her? And they're all zodiac signs. So it's like,
- 13:25Speaker 1: she should have known she shouldn't have gone for an Aquarius.
- 13:28Speaker 1: She's a Leo or whatever. And each person represents a
- 13:31Speaker 1: zodiac sign. And they're all the gods of love fighting
- 13:33Speaker 1: with each other about what J-Lo's heart should do before
- 13:36Speaker 1: we have to see the next dancing video. And it's
- 13:41Speaker 1: just so bad. And then they have a Vanderpump Rules reference. Oh,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I would, Jane Fonda goes, I think at this point,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'd rather just go home and watch Vanderpump Rules.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Make it nice and fresh.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Anyway, apparently she finances herself $ 20 million. And people are like,
- 14:00Speaker 1: did her team want her to do it or not?
- 14:03Speaker 1: The overall consensus is it's number one.
- 14:05Speaker 3: People watched it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: She's going on tour. It doesn't matter. But does anyone
- 14:10Speaker 1: love J-Lo more than J-Lo loves J-Lo?
- 14:12Speaker 2: No.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And I think she saw Beyonce doing visual videos and
- 14:18Speaker 1: movies or whatever they do. And she was like, I
- 14:20Speaker 1: want to have this.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Attached to it. How long is this? Is it an
- 14:23Speaker 3: hour and a half? Yes. Yeah. Okay. Okay.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The other thing that took over everyone's weekend. This is Risa.
- 14:33Speaker 2: No.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Risa Tisa.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Risa Tisa. Sure.
- 14:35Speaker 1: She is this fabulous woman that bared her soul in
- 14:39Speaker 1: such an eloquent, well-spoken, written everything. It's 10-minute videos on TikTok.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:48Speaker 1: 50 of them. Over 50 of them. She goes, this
- 14:52Speaker 1: is the series I'm going to call Who the Fuck
- 14:54Speaker 1: Did I Marry? She met a guy in 2020.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:57Speaker 1: He was a dirty John.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:59Speaker 1: But she walks through each thing from house shopping to
- 15:03Speaker 1: the car shopping to why he didn't want to show
- 15:06Speaker 1: the proof of funds to getting married all through COVID,
- 15:10Speaker 1: which added to that. But what is so amazing about
- 15:14Speaker 1: her and why people are loving her is because throughout it,
- 15:17Speaker 1: she constantly is taking accountability for like, There was more
- 15:21Speaker 1: red flags than a U.N. center, whatever she says. They
- 15:27Speaker 1: were marching on my lawn and I didn't notice all
- 15:29Speaker 1: these things. But then she would say, I didn't want
- 15:31Speaker 1: to be alone. I was 39 years old. I wanted
- 15:34Speaker 1: to believe this was all true, but I was suspicious.
- 15:37Speaker 1: He would show me he had bank statements. Obviously, we're
- 15:41Speaker 1: going to get to the part where there's fake bank statements.
- 15:44Speaker 1: People should give her the views because she's doing great.
- 15:46Speaker 1: One of the things she said she wanted to do
- 15:48Speaker 1: was go to London and Paris. Well, an influencer has
- 15:53Speaker 1: stepped forward and is funding her trip.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Oh, how nice.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm sure she will do something else with this. Maybe
- 16:02Speaker 1: interview other people. I don't know what she's going to
- 16:03Speaker 1: do after this, but she's made her money. She's made
- 16:06Speaker 1: her lemonade. But then the thing people are mad at
- 16:10Speaker 1: is he is a psychopath. I don't know. I didn't
- 16:13Speaker 1: listen to the whole thing because I'm taking my time
- 16:14Speaker 1: enjoying it. And I don't want to ruin it for people.
- 16:16Speaker 1: But he's definitely a pathological liar. And so then another
- 16:20Speaker 1: content creator found him.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Oh.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And people were like, you know, that's not really your
- 16:25Speaker 1: job to find the person that she's divorced from that's
- 16:27Speaker 1: obviously not a safe person. He now has come forward
- 16:31Speaker 1: and said like, oh, there's more reasons to why Risa
- 16:34Speaker 1: Tisa and I broke up.
- 16:36Speaker 3: And what's his thing?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Well, I didn't listen to it. I'm just happy for
- 16:40Speaker 1: her that she's going to Europe. She's going to Chronicle Europe.
- 16:42Speaker 1: People are happy for her. And she was like, ladies,
- 16:46Speaker 1: you've got to ask these questions. You know, he said
- 16:49Speaker 1: he went to San Diego State and played football and
- 16:51Speaker 1: then played arena football. I didn't know anything about arena football.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I never looked it up. And then I realized that
- 16:57Speaker 1: Peter said he went to UC San Diego.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And I had never seen his diploma. Huh.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 3: So you could be.
- 17:06Speaker 1: So I walked in and I asked O'Day, where is
- 17:07Speaker 1: the diploma?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And he's like, I don't know. It's like in the
- 17:10Speaker 1: office or whatever. I don't even know.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Well, you guys have been together a long time now.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Well, I'm ready to crack it open. I would like
- 17:17Speaker 1: to gain 400,000 views and followers in a weekend. And
- 17:22Speaker 1: if it means that I have to crack open the
- 17:24Speaker 1: fact that I have been duped by a creep from
- 17:30Speaker 1: San Diego like she has, then I'm ready to do it.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm ready to expose it all.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I'd like to see... Like, I feel like you fall
- 17:39Speaker 3: for these things. It's got to be... it's got to
- 17:42Speaker 3: be a little bit on you. Because sometimes you hear
- 17:44Speaker 3: something like, well, how would you not see that? Or
- 17:46Speaker 3: how would you not see this?
- 17:46Speaker 1: She totally says it's on her. Here's the thing. They
- 17:48Speaker 1: met in March, right before the shutdown. Shutdown happens. They
- 17:53Speaker 1: move in together. Right. Then there's all the COVID stuff.
- 17:56Speaker 1: They're in Atlanta. All the COVID stuff is happening. The
- 17:59Speaker 1: house buying, the looking at. And the other thing I
- 18:02Speaker 1: want to say is there's this way of where people say, hey,
- 18:06Speaker 1: if you're manifesting a beautiful house, you know, the way
- 18:08Speaker 1: to secret and manifest stuff is, Go look at houses.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Go get in a car. Oh, that always pissed me off.
- 18:15Speaker 1: As a former realtor, do not waste a realtor time
- 18:20Speaker 1: or a furniture person's time or a car dealer's time.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Because that is what this person did. And she said,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I think he got off on seeing me get excited
- 18:32Speaker 1: about a house, get excited about a BMW, and then
- 18:35Speaker 1: pull it out from underneath. I'm like, I think he
- 18:37Speaker 1: also got excited seeing that guy. who was waiting all
- 18:41Speaker 1: day at the car lot for someone to walk up.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Wow.
- 18:44Speaker 1: And then spend hours and hours and hours with him.
- 18:47Speaker 1: What about the other guy that showed him 25 houses
- 18:49Speaker 1: in Atlanta? Yeah. Never got, wrote up offers, which is
- 18:52Speaker 1: very time consuming. All of it. So yeah, he's, he
- 18:57Speaker 1: would lie for no reason to lie. He lied because
- 19:00Speaker 1: that's the whole thing. So she finds out family members.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And the biggest thing is that he would talk on
- 19:04Speaker 1: the phone to all these people, but not put them
- 19:08Speaker 1: on speaker or, But I guess they never existed.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:11Speaker 1: So she was trying to say, yes, was I taken? Yes.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Should I ask more questions? Yeah. But I'm telling you
- 19:17Speaker 1: why I believed it.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Because he'd be like, oh, I got my brother on
- 19:20Speaker 1: the phone. Yeah, she's here. Say hi to Jimmy. Hi, Jimmy.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And then because of COVID, it wasn't weird that they
- 19:26Speaker 1: never met.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Wow.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And it wasn't weird that they got married at the courthouse,
- 19:30Speaker 1: just the two of them. You know what I mean?
- 19:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So very, very, everyone's going crazy over that.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 19:41Speaker 4: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 19:45Speaker 4: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 19:47Speaker 4: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 19:50Speaker 4: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 19:52Speaker 4: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 19:55Speaker 4: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 20:00Speaker 4: click and collect.
- 20:01Speaker 1: So easy.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:10Speaker 2: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:13Speaker 2: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 20:18Speaker 2: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 20:23Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 20:26Speaker 4: filed against me.
- 20:27Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:29Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:34Speaker 2: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:37Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 20:38Speaker 3: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 20:41Speaker 3: started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 20:44Speaker 2: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 20:47Speaker 2: go through.
- 20:48Speaker 3: It's about what happens next.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:52Speaker 1: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 20:59Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Now this I thought was pretty juicy.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:15Speaker 1: This Airbnb person got an Airbnb and the lady was
- 21:21Speaker 1: upset that he, that the neighbors were complaining. He's like,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you're full of shit. No neighbors are complaining. I'm not paying.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:29Speaker 1: So she's like, no, you are going to pay. And
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'm going to, you know, and he goes and show
- 21:33Speaker 1: me the photos of where people were partying at my house.
- 21:36Speaker 1: They weren't. Well, then. The person who owns the house
- 21:39Speaker 1: pulls all the ring photos and sees that he was
- 21:42Speaker 1: cheating on his wife, that there was a woman there.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Oh.
- 21:45Speaker 1: So then she said, either you're going to pay me
- 21:46Speaker 1: the money you owe me, plus all these fees for
- 21:50Speaker 1: also writing a bad Yelp review for me.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Or I'm going to show this to your wife. So
- 21:55Speaker 1: then he's like, wait a minute, I'm being extorted. But anyway,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I just thought that was like, just be careful, right?
- 22:04Speaker 1: I feel like Airbnb people are like airline stewardesses. Just
- 22:10Speaker 1: be nice. Get the fuck out.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I don't like the Airbnb. I tried it a few
- 22:15Speaker 3: times and I prefer the hotel. I don't like the Airbnb.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I feel like people are moving towards hotels now.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so too. because some cities just don't
- 22:25Speaker 3: really allow Airbnb. I mean, New York city did not enough.
- 22:27Speaker 1: They're being stricter. People are being stricter and neighborhoods are
- 22:30Speaker 1: being strict.
- 22:30Speaker 3: But I've gone to a couple of times where the
- 22:31Speaker 3: key is not there. And I'm like, he does know
- 22:33Speaker 3: you can't contact anybody. And I've had a few.
- 22:36Speaker 1: The key's not there at Friday at four. And they're like,
- 22:38Speaker 1: we reopened the office on Sunday. You're like, what?
- 22:41Speaker 3: I know exactly. I know what happened to me, like
- 22:42Speaker 3: something similar. And I'm like, just go to a hotel
- 22:45Speaker 3: with a guy behind the counter. And I could, you know,
- 22:47Speaker 3: the key is there and I can't, you know.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's beach cheating. Um, Oh, Wait, before we get
- 22:54Speaker 1: to this next one, we were going to talk about
- 22:57Speaker 1: Soho House. What is the scoop?
- 22:59Speaker 3: Oh, you're saying?
- 23:00Speaker 1: For the people that don't know, Soho House is a.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 1: It's been around for like, I don't know, 20 years.
- 23:04Speaker 3: A long time.
- 23:05Speaker 1: A long time. Maybe even longer.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 1: LA, Malibu, London. And it's like a private dining place.
- 23:12Speaker 1: You have to be approved.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's a private club.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to be approved. Not only do you
- 23:17Speaker 1: have to pay to join, and then there's like a
- 23:20Speaker 1: yearly fee, whether you ever step foot or not. It's
- 23:23Speaker 1: private dining. If you're not a member, you can't go
- 23:26Speaker 1: without a member.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 23:28Speaker 1: And the whole thing, at least in L.A., is that
- 23:30Speaker 1: they want artists. They won't let you use your cell phone.
- 23:33Speaker 1: They don't let you go up to someone and be like, oh,
- 23:35Speaker 1: my God, I loved your work in this. You can
- 23:38Speaker 1: have like power meetings. But also it's kind of good
- 23:40Speaker 1: because if you're like an up and comer in the business,
- 23:43Speaker 1: you really do have access. Right. to some of these
- 23:46Speaker 1: people that wouldn't otherwise have. And they think, well, at
- 23:49Speaker 1: least you're at this level because you were vetted. You
- 23:51Speaker 1: were vetted that you were at least a junior agent
- 23:54Speaker 1: or something. You at least had one screenplay sold. So
- 23:58Speaker 1: what are they saying about this?
- 24:00Speaker 3: Well, first of all, they're saying that Wall Street's involved
- 24:03Speaker 3: and they don't think it's going to last, so they're
- 24:06Speaker 3: short-selling it, whatever that means.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Just the one in New York or like all of them?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Well, right now, just the one in New York. But
- 24:12Speaker 3: if their stock plummets, then who knows what becomes of it.
- 24:16Speaker 3: And a lot of people are upset that they're letting
- 24:18Speaker 3: in too many people. You know, I guess it used
- 24:20Speaker 3: to be very exclusive depending upon the one you go to.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Sounds like our border.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It's very similar to the border. Yes, it's filled with migrants. Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 3: So anyway, that's what they're saying there. People are upset
- 24:36Speaker 3: they're letting too many people in. And I guess to
- 24:38Speaker 3: get in, you not only have to pay the fee,
- 24:40Speaker 3: whatever that is. I know the one in Malibu is
- 24:43Speaker 3: even extra. I don't know how much it costs to
- 24:44Speaker 3: get in the one in Malibu. But then you also
- 24:46Speaker 3: have to have people vouch for you. Like, they already
- 24:50Speaker 3: belong to it.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:52Speaker 3: And they have to write you, like, a note, like,
- 24:54Speaker 3: I like this guy or whatever. Which it all seems like, really?
- 24:57Speaker 3: That for French fries? I mean, I don't know. But
- 25:00Speaker 3: it is cool to, I guess, sit next to Larry
- 25:03Speaker 3: David in Malibu. Who knows?
- 25:04Speaker 1: If the Malibu one closes, I just hope they make
- 25:07Speaker 1: it another great restaurant. Because the location is so freaking fabulous.
- 25:10Speaker 1: It's right next door to Nobu.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And it used to be this restaurant that wasn't very good.
- 25:16Speaker 1: The food wasn't very good. But I would go there
- 25:18Speaker 1: anyway because if I couldn't get into Nobu, it was
- 25:21Speaker 1: so wonderful. And then about eight years ago is when
- 25:23Speaker 1: they made it.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Soho, Malibu. It's very nice.
- 25:26Speaker 1: And I do like the vibe of it. I love
- 25:29Speaker 1: to see people all in beige.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:31Speaker 1: A lot of beige and white at the Soho on Malibu.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And there was a time I was thinking about it.
- 25:37Speaker 1: A friend of mine was in it. And I was like,
- 25:40Speaker 1: how much is it? And it was a lot less
- 25:41Speaker 1: expensive there. And I was like, how often would I
- 25:43Speaker 1: come out here? It's still like a 40 minute drive. And, um,
- 25:47Speaker 1: and then she was like, I don't think they'd want you,
- 25:49Speaker 1: you know, because you're like a gossip person. And I
- 25:53Speaker 1: was like, Oh, I can see why you wouldn't want me. Yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 1: So I never joined. I get to be friends. I
- 26:01Speaker 1: get to go when my friends invite me. And so
- 26:04Speaker 1: far I've been okay. I haven't gotten in trouble.
- 26:06Speaker 3: I looked it up one time cause we have the
- 26:08Speaker 3: apartment right next to it over there. And I, uh,
- 26:11Speaker 3: And it said something like $ 2, 000. And I was like, oh,
- 26:14Speaker 3: that's it?
- 26:15Speaker 1: No, it's a lot more now.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's only $ 2, 000 to get the application, just to
- 26:19Speaker 3: fill out the application.
- 26:20Speaker 1: And you don't get that back?
- 26:21Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It probably goes towards like the $ 10, 000.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I didn't go that far into it.
- 26:25Speaker 1: It probably goes to the $ 10, 000.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Almost like we just don't want to waste our time,
- 26:30Speaker 1: so you have to be pretty serious. If we reject you,
- 26:32Speaker 1: they've got to give you the $ 2, 000 back.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Who knows? But anyway.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So they just don't want every loser trying.
- 26:37Speaker 3: They're saying that it might be on the outs. That's
- 26:39Speaker 3: the latest story. It just came out today.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Well, there's been times I've come on a beautiful day
- 26:44Speaker 1: as a guest of someone. And I mean, you're waiting
- 26:46Speaker 1: in line to drop off your car and it is packed.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 26:50Speaker 1: And that is the thing that you're supposed to be
- 26:52Speaker 1: able to always like get a table.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:55Speaker 1: So if there's too many people, then there's too many people.
- 26:58Speaker 3: There's too many VIPs everywhere. As far as I'm concerned.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Like I go VIP to like concerts and stuff. I'm like,
- 27:03Speaker 3: wait a minute. Everyone's a VIP. And then like Delta Lounge,
- 27:07Speaker 3: you know, the lounges in the airports? Yeah. There's lines
- 27:10Speaker 3: to get into them now. I'm like, how is everybody VIP?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad you asked that because on my new tour, Chris. Oh, okay.
- 27:17Speaker 1: At HeatherRendall.net, I am continuing the meet and greets, but
- 27:20Speaker 1: they do cap out at 50.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 27:23Speaker 1: They cap out at 50 for that exact reason.
- 27:25Speaker 3: But you got to stop the shady people who walk
- 27:27Speaker 3: out and then give their laminate to another person and
- 27:30Speaker 3: then they walk in.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Well, now I think I'm going to do the meet
- 27:32Speaker 1: and greets before the show.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And you got to love me enough to get there
- 27:36Speaker 1: a little early. Okay. Because I do believe that's a
- 27:40Speaker 1: better way to go. And that's the way most artists
- 27:42Speaker 1: do it. Right. But for me, I always wanted to
- 27:44Speaker 1: be like preparing my act till the very last minute.
- 27:47Speaker 1: But the new Heather is going to be more prepared.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And we're going to do meet and greets before.
- 27:52Speaker 3: That's a good idea.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 27:53Speaker 3: I think before is better.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Because then I'm like on a high and I want
- 27:57Speaker 1: to like leave. Yeah. And then I can be with
- 28:01Speaker 1: my real, like not real friends, but my friends that
- 28:03Speaker 1: are like family and friends that are in that city.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I can visit with them. I wouldn't have them come before.
- 28:08Speaker 3: But don't you feel it spoils it a little bit
- 28:10Speaker 3: that they've seen you before you walk out on stage?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Like it's supposed to be that.
- 28:14Speaker 1: You know what?
- 28:15Speaker 3: There she is.
- 28:15Speaker 1: This is where the ego of me is now. I'm
- 28:18Speaker 1: putting that to rest.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Okay. Oh, you're good.
- 28:20Speaker 1: But one of the reasons I wanted to always do
- 28:21Speaker 1: it after is. that feeling of like how my parents
- 28:25Speaker 1: would praise me after. I wanted them to come up
- 28:28Speaker 1: after they saw my act to be like, that was
- 28:31Speaker 1: my favorite bit. That was my favorite part. But I
- 28:34Speaker 1: noticed they really don't do that. It's really like they
- 28:36Speaker 1: just wanted to meet me Because a juicy scoop and
- 28:39Speaker 1: share whatever they want to share, their personal story, something.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Something about it.
- 28:43Speaker 1: So it doesn't really matter what the act is.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And then you piss off the man that you dragged
- 28:49Speaker 1: because now she has to wait in line.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And it might take up to another 30, 40 minutes.
- 28:54Speaker 1: How quickly I pee, put on my lipstick. I'm always like,
- 28:57Speaker 1: the minute it starts, I can go out there. But
- 28:59Speaker 1: now I'm like, no, I'm going to do it before. Okay.
- 29:04Speaker 1: So plan it accordingly.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Yeah, good deal.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Okay, so Tom Sandoval did a article for the New
- 29:12Speaker 1: York Times called How Tom Sandoval Became the Most Hated
- 29:15Speaker 1: Man in America. And he put a couple doozies in there.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:21Speaker 1: One was that he says when Ariana found out that
- 29:24Speaker 1: he was cheating with her best friend, Raquel, that they
- 29:27Speaker 1: went into the back alley of where he was performing
- 29:29Speaker 1: and he was a victim of domestic abuse. Now he's
- 29:32Speaker 1: saying that she hit him.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I don't, everyone's just kind of like, okay, dude. Then
- 29:40Speaker 1: he went on to say, I'm not a pop culture expert. Granted,
- 29:44Speaker 1: you're not Juicy Scoop, right?
- 29:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:46Speaker 1: But I think the reason everyone went so crazy, it
- 29:49Speaker 1: was just the media crazy, is that it was up
- 29:51Speaker 1: there with the OJ murder trial.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 1: She was accused of killing two people, Ron Goldman and
- 29:58Speaker 1: Nicole Brown Simpson. And the death of George Floyd. Yeah.
- 30:03Speaker 3: He said he was getting that much press, right?
- 30:04Speaker 1: He was getting that much press.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I don't believe he was.
- 30:10Speaker 2: At all.
- 30:11Speaker 1: And I don't think, so obviously he realizes that was
- 30:14Speaker 1: an awful comparison to a murder of three people.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:19Speaker 1: And, you know, like, so bad, of course, the writer
- 30:23Speaker 1: of this was probably just like, this is just gold. Like,
- 30:26Speaker 1: this is fucking gold. I just think He's a douchey,
- 30:31Speaker 1: narcissistic dude whose life has been extremely easy. He came
- 30:36Speaker 1: out here extremely good looking, was waning cables while actually
- 30:40Speaker 1: getting legit work, got on a show that he's been
- 30:44Speaker 1: able to do for 11 years, always had a girlfriend,
- 30:49Speaker 1: got to cheat on girlfriends, and not until he got
- 30:52Speaker 1: caught is he now like, Oh, my God. Why is
- 30:56Speaker 1: everybody so awful to me? So I just think some
- 30:59Speaker 1: people are born douchey.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:03Speaker 1: And you can't squeeze the douche.
- 31:04Speaker 3: He's got a very douchey look about him. I mean,
- 31:07Speaker 3: that's like the whole thing, right? He's just a douche.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yes. He goes shirtless and he does his cover band, which,
- 31:13Speaker 1: by the way, all these women that were like, we
- 31:16Speaker 1: hate him.
- 31:16Speaker 3: He's done.
- 31:17Speaker 1: They're all going to the shows.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Yeah. It's fucked up.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Here's the thing.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Oh, this is the best thing I've ever done.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody gets canceled. And now his time is coming.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:27Speaker 1: He's mad at all the other girls in the cast,
- 31:31Speaker 1: including his ex, Ariana, Lala, and Sheena, because they had podcasts.
- 31:35Speaker 1: And like me, we talked a lot about it because
- 31:38Speaker 1: there was stuff all the time. And it was just
- 31:40Speaker 1: a fascinating topic because it not only involved cheating, people
- 31:43Speaker 1: we all knew that were playing themselves on TV, but also...
- 31:47Speaker 1: the portrayal of a girlfriend with your man, which is very,
- 31:50Speaker 1: very juicy. And we had never seen on reality TV before.
- 31:53Speaker 1: That is why there was a frenzy about it. But
- 31:58Speaker 1: he's like, you know, they used me for clicks and
- 32:02Speaker 1: views and whatever.
- 32:02Speaker 3: And I'm like, isn't that what it's all about though?
- 32:07Speaker 1: He has a show too. They all have podcasts now.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Everyone has a podcast. Okay.
- 32:12Speaker 3: All right. Fine.
- 32:13Speaker 1: But you know, when you say, and I mean, Look
- 32:16Speaker 1: at this photo. I mean, he is good looking. But
- 32:18Speaker 1: I also want to say that's a nice trick to
- 32:20Speaker 1: make your bicep. Do you know that, Chris?
- 32:21Speaker 3: You just press your arm down.
- 32:22Speaker 1: You press your arm. You twist it a little and
- 32:25Speaker 1: then you press. But he does have a very good body.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Yeah, he's pretty jacked up, this guy.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Let's give him that. He has a good body. But
- 32:31Speaker 1: then he also, Raquel has also spoken because, of course,
- 32:34Speaker 1: she has a podcast. And she says, he says in
- 32:37Speaker 1: the show last night, I really love her. I really
- 32:40Speaker 1: want to talk to her. but she did another extension
- 32:43Speaker 1: at the rehab place for her mental health.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Right.
- 32:46Speaker 1: And then he wrote her and said, you are so,
- 32:51Speaker 1: why are you so dependent on that place? So he's
- 32:53Speaker 1: just awful all around.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 1: There you go. Okay. Chris, has anyone ever, have you,
- 33:00Speaker 1: anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity? Yes. Who?
- 33:05Speaker 3: I mean, it's not good ones. Lately I've been getting
- 33:07Speaker 3: a lot of Kevin Bacon, but I think it's like
- 33:09Speaker 3: Kevin Bacon now. Like old Kevin Bacon. Yeah, exactly. No, exactly.
- 33:15Speaker 3: First of all, Kevin.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Bacon has a little pig nose. No offense. And you
- 33:20Speaker 1: do not have a little pig nose.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I mean, I follow Kevin Bacon on Instagram. As a
- 33:25Speaker 3: matter of fact, it just happened to me like two
- 33:27Speaker 3: days ago. I was trying on sunglasses at Nordstrom. And
- 33:30Speaker 3: every time I put them on, they go, you look
- 33:32Speaker 3: like Kevin Bacon? I think she was trying to sell me. Like, oh,
- 33:35Speaker 3: then I'm sold. I look like Kevin Bacon. Lately I've
- 33:39Speaker 3: been hearing Kevin Bacon, but I don't know, like nobody good.
- 33:42Speaker 3: I used to get, I mean, you know, people hate
- 33:46Speaker 3: when I say this, but I got Tom Brady a
- 33:47Speaker 3: lot early. There was a time when my hair was similar.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Okay. Before that guy got to it with a hot comb.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I got a couple of Tom Brady's, but that's about
- 33:57Speaker 3: nothing good.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Well, of course one was Celine Dion.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 1: And, but I have to say in all the times that,
- 34:05Speaker 1: That people have sent me your doppelganger. Never have I
- 34:10Speaker 1: thought the doppelganger was better looking than me.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Well, did you have even worse than that?
- 34:14Speaker 1: And I realized that I don't see me. Yeah. I
- 34:19Speaker 1: saw an old photo of me at the Kardashian first episode.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Right. I saw that too. Somebody posted it.
- 34:26Speaker 1: And I was like, you were a goofy looking dork.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I never realized that before.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, those are the times.
- 34:35Speaker 2: No. No.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, you don't think so?
- 34:37Speaker 1: I thought I was better looking this whole time. No
- 34:42Speaker 1: wonder people are annoyed that I have so much confidence.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Wow.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I really thought I was, like, pretty cute my whole life.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I could not understand why I didn't get into more sororities.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I didn't understand why I kicked out of the Tarzana pageant.
- 34:59Speaker 3: I mean, look, on a scale from 1 to 10, now,
- 35:02Speaker 3: what do you say?
- 35:03Speaker 1: Now, I think I'm probably like a six.
- 35:06Speaker 3: A six? Like what old is usually?
- 35:08Speaker 1: Oh, now.
- 35:09Speaker 3: You can get it up to an eight.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Okay. Now, at my age, if we're going to line
- 35:13Speaker 1: me up against women my age that don't have access
- 35:16Speaker 1: to LA plastic surgery and good makeup, now I'm at
- 35:21Speaker 1: the top. Sorry, 10?
- 35:22Speaker 3: No, not 10.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Now, I'm like eight.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:23Speaker 1: But I think back like 35, 40 years ago. Right.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Everyone just had their teeth. Everyone had their lip size.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Original noses. Symmetrical faces that were just beautiful or not.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Six.
- 35:42Speaker 3: I don't know if you watched the We Are The
- 35:43Speaker 3: World documentary on Netflix.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I watched a little.
- 35:46Speaker 3: It's excellent. Why can't I get... I'm just so into
- 35:48Speaker 3: that world that I loved it.
- 35:49Speaker 1: No, I thought I could, but then I turned it off.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Okay, go on.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I'll give it another chance. Anyway. I'm going on a plane.
- 35:55Speaker 1: You know what I'm going to do?
- 35:55Speaker 3: You should watch it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm watching it going, oh, this is... when nobody
- 36:01Speaker 3: had anything. Like, they're not bad looking, but it's like
- 36:05Speaker 3: Bruce Springsteen's teeth, like Bruce Springsteen now is like a model.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Like he's got all the shit.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Eyelashes, crooked teeth, and.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Cindy Lauper's got, you know, there was no whitening toothpaste
- 36:18Speaker 3: back then or any of that. I mean, everybody looks,
- 36:21Speaker 3: unless you're Diana Ross or you're genetically blessed, most of
- 36:25Speaker 3: them kind of look like shit. And I'm like, oh,
- 36:28Speaker 3: that's why. It was 1985.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Nobody had anything yet.
- 36:31Speaker 1: The other thing people have been saying like on TikToks
- 36:33Speaker 1: and stuff, they'll throw old videos of like kids in
- 36:36Speaker 1: high school, like in the late 80s.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And they're like, and the comments are like, why do
- 36:41Speaker 1: all these people look so old?
- 36:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I don't know the conspiracy behind it. Why do they
- 36:47Speaker 1: look so old?
- 36:47Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to say it was Prowl. which used
- 36:50Speaker 3: to be the shampoo. I mean, we didn't even have
- 36:53Speaker 3: the good shampoo. We didn't have Nexus or Paul Mitchell.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I want to say that conditioner wasn't even a thing
- 36:58Speaker 1: until the 80s.
- 36:59Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 37:00Speaker 1: One tube.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I mean, it was just like, and then you used,
- 37:07Speaker 3: you dried your hand. Remember those school paper towels you
- 37:11Speaker 3: used to dry your hands with? They were made out
- 37:12Speaker 3: of like just lumber. It was like.
- 37:14Speaker 1: My mom, when my mom came to LA from Chicago
- 37:18Speaker 1: and she was a Midwest girl. She said she was
- 37:20Speaker 1: in the grocery store and this woman walked up to
- 37:22Speaker 1: her and said, Dr. Bernstein. And she goes, what?
- 37:26Speaker 3: Dr.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Bernstein, he did your nose. And she's like, no, what
- 37:30Speaker 1: are you talking? She never knew anyone that had gotten
- 37:32Speaker 1: a nose job or anything. Then she had a friend
- 37:34Speaker 1: who went through a divorce that she was selling her
- 37:36Speaker 1: house and she went to go visit her and she
- 37:39Speaker 1: got a boob job. And, um, And she's like, your boobs, Elaine,
- 37:44Speaker 1: how did your boobs? And she goes, oh, Pam, I
- 37:46Speaker 1: just did. I must, I must increase my bust. And
- 37:49Speaker 1: she believed her for like years.
- 37:53Speaker 3: My mother had somebody in her family. I think she's
- 37:55Speaker 3: still alive, 102 years old. Her name is Rozzy, which
- 37:58Speaker 3: is a cousin of my mother's. She had a breast implant.
- 38:02Speaker 3: This must have been in the late 60s.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Well, I think Dolly Parton was one of the first
- 38:06Speaker 1: people to do it.
- 38:07Speaker 3: I don't know what they put in there. Oh, tuna
- 38:09Speaker 3: cans or something. But she's still going. I think they're
- 38:13Speaker 3: still in there, whatever foreign object it is.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Goes to show you.
- 38:16Speaker 4: You know, yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Supposedly, you're supposed to replace it for 10 years. Maybe
- 38:19Speaker 1: you don't have to. If the woman is 101, still
- 38:22Speaker 1: rocking a halter.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Still going around, yeah. Oh, my God. But it is
- 38:26Speaker 3: so funny to see people now.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You know, Marilyn Monroe got a nose job.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Did she? I don't know. And.
- 38:34Speaker 1: say someone else back then, but there's no way she
- 38:38Speaker 1: would have been who she is had she not gotten
- 38:40Speaker 1: her nose job.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Some people, like Kenny Rogers, remember when Kenny Rogers went
- 38:43Speaker 3: through all that weird places? And it was like, well,
- 38:46Speaker 3: you're Kenny Rogers. We're already kind of a handsome guy
- 38:48Speaker 3: for Kenny Rogers. You know what I mean? Like, what
- 38:50Speaker 3: did you think they were going to do that was
- 38:53Speaker 3: going to, like, some people can use a bit of
- 38:55Speaker 3: an enhancement because they're already You know, they have a
- 38:58Speaker 3: foundation to work with.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:59Speaker 3: And some people are like, well, screw it. You're just
- 39:01Speaker 3: Kenny Rogers. Okay.
- 39:02Speaker 1: So let's get to this. This is Love is Blind. Yes.
- 39:04Speaker 1: And it's season six.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:06Speaker 1: And I think there's six episodes out and now there's
- 39:09Speaker 1: another chunk coming.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Right.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Or maybe it's one. So I don't know how Netflix
- 39:13Speaker 1: is doing things now. You should know since, you know,
- 39:16Speaker 1: you're sleeping with the enemy over there. Just kidding.
- 39:19Speaker 3: She's not a part of this.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I know.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:21Speaker 1: It is so good.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Love is Blind.
- 39:24Speaker 1: It is really good this season.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Always when I watch it, I just go, I need
- 39:29Speaker 1: to appreciate being married more because this is all these
- 39:32Speaker 1: people want right is to fall in love and get
- 39:34Speaker 1: married now there is this one girl and you're not
- 39:38Speaker 1: supposed to know the whole thing is that you're not
- 39:40Speaker 1: supposed to know someone's ethnicity or whatever but there's been
- 39:43Speaker 1: times when in their conversations where they can't see each
- 39:45Speaker 1: other it's like I remember there was a time like
- 39:48Speaker 1: two of them realized that they're both of Indian descent.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Because we're just talking about traditions and stuff. You could
- 39:54Speaker 1: figure it out. But this– she brings up, has anyone
- 39:58Speaker 1: ever told you to look like a celebrity to this guy?
- 40:00Speaker 1: And he goes, no, not really. What about you? And
- 40:02Speaker 1: she goes, yeah, a bunch of times. People said I
- 40:04Speaker 1: look like a Machine Gun Kelly's girlfriend or wife or something.
- 40:09Speaker 1: And he's like, Megan Fox? I guess. That's what people
- 40:14Speaker 1: say I look like. So anyway– It's down to her,
- 40:18Speaker 1: this girl, Chelsea, and this other girl, Jess, who really
- 40:21Speaker 1: does look kind of like Megan Fox. She's a single mom.
- 40:24Speaker 1: She's 28. She has a tight size zero body with
- 40:28Speaker 1: a butt and tits, the lips, the whole gorgeous. And
- 40:33Speaker 1: he ends up choosing Chelsea because I think he was
- 40:36Speaker 1: scared of being the stepdad. But also, I think he
- 40:40Speaker 1: was whacking off to Megan Fox for the last five
- 40:42Speaker 1: days when he left the pod.
- 40:45Speaker 3: And she.
- 40:46Speaker 1: kind of bitchy about it. Jess goes, um, so you're
- 40:49Speaker 1: picking Chelsea. Okay. When you see me, you are going
- 40:54Speaker 1: to die. You're going to be an EpiPen. You're going
- 40:56Speaker 1: to flip, like kind of bitchy about it anyway. So
- 40:58Speaker 1: they get together and he is like, Hey, now she
- 41:01Speaker 1: has a good looking girl. And in the eyes, she
- 41:04Speaker 1: kind of looks like Megan Fox.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I see the Megan Fox.
- 41:06Speaker 1: And she's, she's letting this roll off her back. People
- 41:09Speaker 1: are being so mean about it. Megan Fox has been nice.
- 41:12Speaker 1: She's like, she's being cool about it. And, You know, hey,
- 41:16Speaker 1: you're sitting talking to people all day long. Is something
- 41:19Speaker 1: going to slip that's going to hurt you? I mean,
- 41:22Speaker 1: there was another girl that talked about her views on abortion.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, this girl's life is over. You know,
- 41:26Speaker 1: like I just like what are you supposed to be yourself?
- 41:29Speaker 1: And then there was this guy that was so weird
- 41:33Speaker 1: and he he liked these two girls and he told
- 41:35Speaker 1: them the exact same thing and they heard them. each
- 41:38Speaker 1: other talking about their great date with him and realize
- 41:41Speaker 1: that they caught the player in the act. And I
- 41:43Speaker 1: was watching it like with Brandon and I'm all, Brandon,
- 41:46Speaker 1: this is what guys do. And we never realize it
- 41:50Speaker 1: till we have proof. They figure out what words work
- 41:53Speaker 1: and then they can use them on multiple girls at
- 41:55Speaker 1: the same time. So his thing with both girls was,
- 41:58Speaker 1: let's just leave here right now. Let's just like you
- 42:00Speaker 1: and me, just get up and leave. Let's just go.
- 42:03Speaker 1: So the girl's like, oh my God, he's chosen me.
- 42:05Speaker 1: But he said to everybody, anyway, he left. It is
- 42:07Speaker 1: so good. So now they have the pairings and now
- 42:10Speaker 1: we're going to go to see what is happening with it. It's,
- 42:13Speaker 1: but yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I suggest to people, never say, do you know who
- 42:19Speaker 1: you look like? Unless the person is at Megan Fox level.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Do not say to somebody that, Of anybody that, okay,
- 42:30Speaker 1: people say Mariska Hargitay to me.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 42:32Speaker 1: That I can take.
- 42:33Speaker 3: I see that one.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Selena, I'm happy with.
- 42:37Speaker 3: The Saw puppet, that's not a good one.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Saw puppet, not good. There's just been some random ones
- 42:43Speaker 1: where someone will just send it to me.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Caitlyn. No, you know what?
- 42:47Speaker 1: I will take Caitlyn. Yeah, Caitlyn. Because Caitlyn Dunn up
- 42:50Speaker 1: also looks like Cindy Crawford.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:52Speaker 1: So if you want to put me, Caitlyn, and Cindy
- 42:54Speaker 1: Crawford across the list, I'm down, totally down. But yeah,
- 43:00Speaker 1: I just think it's something that you should not send
- 43:03Speaker 1: to people.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Well, worse than that is celebrity, yes. But do you
- 43:06Speaker 3: ever get one, somebody says, you look like my cousin
- 43:08Speaker 3: or my uncle or whatever, and then you finally see them?
- 43:10Speaker 3: You're like, oh my God, what am I, does my
- 43:13Speaker 3: mirror in my house skewed or something? Like, am I.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Apparently there is like an app or something where it
- 43:20Speaker 1: switches it and it's like this is how people really
- 43:23Speaker 1: see you.
- 43:23Speaker 3: And it's different. I guess in most pictures, aren't you reversed?
- 43:28Speaker 1: I don't understand how that works.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I don't know either. But yeah. I mean, I have
- 43:31Speaker 3: one mirror in my house. I am gorgeous. I tell
- 43:34Speaker 3: my wife, I said, that's the mirror to go in.
- 43:37Speaker 3: And that's the one we use for anything.
- 43:40Speaker 1: That's your last check mirror? Yeah.
- 43:41Speaker 3: It's our last check.
- 43:43Speaker 1: We had last check mirror in our sorority house.
- 43:45Speaker 3: We have last check. Yeah, this is last check mirror.
- 43:48Speaker 3: But it's almost, I think it's.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Giving you false. Well, obviously boutiques have always bought skinny mirrors.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think some of them, I mean,
- 43:54Speaker 3: some of them are not, but some.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Of them, I now know what's a skinny mirror. And
- 43:59Speaker 1: I know Heather. This is a skinny mirror.
- 44:02Speaker 3: And this is full. Are you believing it? Are you
- 44:04Speaker 3: saying I don't look as good in whatever I'm wearing
- 44:07Speaker 3: as this mirror is leading to me?
- 44:08Speaker 1: If I look so incredibly snatched and stuff, I have
- 44:11Speaker 1: to say, Heather, this is probably a skinny mirror. Okay.
- 44:14Speaker 1: And there's times I've asked.
- 44:15Speaker 3: I mean, you're pretty skinny.
- 44:16Speaker 1: There's times I've asked the girls.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Working there. Okay. And they'll be like, yeah, kind of.
- 44:21Speaker 1: I think so. If they don't care. If they're the owner,
- 44:24Speaker 1: they're like, no. If they work there, they're like on
- 44:26Speaker 1: their phone and they're like, yeah, it's a skinny mirror.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Speaking of old pictures where you looked dorky. So, you know,
- 44:31Speaker 3: I'm going to get those Facebook memories or whatever. They
- 44:33Speaker 3: come back 10 years, 12 years or whatever. Now Facebook's
- 44:35Speaker 3: been around a long time. Now you go, I think
- 44:36Speaker 3: they go back as far as like 13 years or something.
- 44:40Speaker 3: And so for us, that was like Hyatt of Chelsea
- 44:42Speaker 3: lately or around there. And I've, I've seen a couple
- 44:45Speaker 3: of red carpets where we were at for whatever reason
- 44:47Speaker 3: after lately or something. And all the outfits we're wearing.
- 44:52Speaker 3: And I know they were of the time, the cuts
- 44:54Speaker 3: of jeans and everything were different, but God, like nobody
- 44:57Speaker 3: could have helped us a little bit. Like we all looked,
- 45:00Speaker 3: Like we're wearing like bad jeans and bad– I am
- 45:05Speaker 3: at least. I shouldn't speak for everybody.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Well, I got these dresses sent to me that were free.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I needed a new outfit and we were on the
- 45:11Speaker 1: show like every other week from the beginning. And we
- 45:15Speaker 1: were only getting an extra $ 300, $ 400 to be on
- 45:18Speaker 1: the show. So you don't want to buy a new
- 45:20Speaker 1: outfit every time. So I was getting these dresses and–
- 45:24Speaker 1: the whole thing was that Michelle Obama was wearing them too.
- 45:26Speaker 1: They weren't really even that expensive as retail, but I
- 45:29Speaker 1: was getting them for free. But they were so like, why?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Like I was so young. Yeah. Why am I wearing
- 45:36Speaker 1: this conservative, like dorky, like daytime talk show dress when
- 45:42Speaker 1: I should have been like dressing like a hip girl
- 45:44Speaker 1: on a late night show.
- 45:45Speaker 3: I know. I know. It's a little bit like Drew Barrymore,
- 45:49Speaker 3: you know, the outfits come, some of them, She always
- 45:51Speaker 3: looks like she's, you know, hunting foxes. But, you know,
- 45:58Speaker 3: I mean.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 45:59Speaker 3: It works on her, kind of.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I'm actually, this is my last day at 48. I
- 46:05Speaker 1: am now 49. And I feel mature. I feel special.
- 46:10Speaker 1: But I am. Technically, I'm still a child of the 70s.
- 46:14Speaker 1: And that's why I love the style. No, her style
- 46:16Speaker 1: is like 70s.
- 46:17Speaker 3: That's good.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 46:19Speaker 3: I know I've seen it a million times.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I'm glad you still love it.
- 46:21Speaker 3: But you've toned it down.
- 46:22Speaker 1: You said I used to look like a stroke victim.
- 46:24Speaker 3: It was getting a little strokey. Now it looks really good.
- 46:27Speaker 3: You've toned it down a little bit.
- 46:29Speaker 1: She's toned it down.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:31Speaker 1: She's still up in everybody's vagina when she interviews them.
- 46:34Speaker 3: It's so shocking.
- 46:34Speaker 1: But I love it though. I think she's smart in
- 46:37Speaker 1: that those things go viral.
- 46:39Speaker 3: They're getting a clit.
- 46:39Speaker 1: So why the fuck not? And I do think it's
- 46:41Speaker 1: natural to her. I think she is someone that like
- 46:43Speaker 1: really connects with people. And I do think she has
- 46:46Speaker 1: like a pure soul.
- 46:47Speaker 3: I do too.
- 46:48Speaker 1: So I think it's like, it's fine. But no, her
- 46:51Speaker 1: whole style is like that 70s style. It looks good.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Yeah, she's Annie Hole. Annie Hole or whatever. Yeah, yeah.
- 46:56Speaker 3: I'm good with it.
- 46:57Speaker 1: They're called culottes.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Oh, I know it well. Culottes. I love culottes.
- 47:01Speaker 1: People, culottes are pants that are wide-legged that come mid-cap,
- 47:06Speaker 1: but then you wear them with boots so your ankles
- 47:08Speaker 1: don't look weirdly skinny. And then also like a tweed vest.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 47:14Speaker 3: It looks like a golfer like from the 50s. They
- 47:16Speaker 3: used to wear more or less culottes, you know?
- 47:19Speaker 1: Totally. Okay. Thinking of love.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:23Speaker 1: This person goes, my client proposes from jail on FaceTime. Okay.
- 47:28Speaker 1: This whole thing, this girl then walks up and the
- 47:31Speaker 1: guy from jail is on that screen right here. And
- 47:35Speaker 1: he asked her to marry him. But whoever did it,
- 47:38Speaker 1: like the guy from prison, he's probably like some access money.
- 47:42Speaker 1: He then hired a actual like wedding planner or event
- 47:47Speaker 1: planner to do all this. So the whole thing was like, guys,
- 47:50Speaker 1: you have no excuse. Like if a guy from prison
- 47:53Speaker 1: can set it up, you can set up a proper engagement.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I'm like, could we just.
- 48:00Speaker 3: That's nice.
- 48:01Speaker 1: First of all, what is he in jail for? And
- 48:03Speaker 1: how does he have this extra money? Tells me he like,
- 48:06Speaker 1: he's probably like, let me do this time. I buried
- 48:08Speaker 1: this money in a, under a hill. And once I
- 48:10Speaker 1: get out, you and I can have a great life.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:12Speaker 1: But I'm always fascinated. I remember there was like a,
- 48:16Speaker 1: a show about like, you know, wedding gowns or whatever. And,
- 48:22Speaker 1: and the girl was, you know, with her mom and
- 48:25Speaker 1: she was getting married to like a prisoner.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Say yes to the dress.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 1: But it was a different one than that. But it was,
- 48:29Speaker 1: the girl was going to a prison.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:31Speaker 1: And maybe, you know what, maybe someone told me this
- 48:35Speaker 1: because I definitely existed because I saw the photos. Maybe
- 48:37Speaker 1: it wasn't a show. And she was marrying a guy
- 48:39Speaker 1: in San Quentin. And she was, like, beautiful and, like,
- 48:43Speaker 1: attractive and everything. And she was trying on dresses with
- 48:46Speaker 1: her mother who was paying for it. That's how much
- 48:49Speaker 1: some mothers just want their daughter to be married. And
- 48:53Speaker 1: on her back, she had the whole seascape of San
- 48:58Speaker 1: Quentin on. Like tattooed?
- 49:00Speaker 3: Yes. Oh, wow. She doesn't sound like she's got all there.
- 49:05Speaker 3: That's a problem.
- 49:06Speaker 1: You're probably happy today.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Speaking of prison.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I know. Oh, my God.
- 49:12Speaker 3: But rightfully so.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Ruby Frank, who is the awful mother
- 49:15Speaker 1: who made her money on YouTube talking about being a
- 49:18Speaker 1: strict Mormon parent. broke up with her husband, went to
- 49:22Speaker 1: live with her podcast partner, and had their kids living
- 49:27Speaker 1: with her in which she was caught for severely abusing
- 49:30Speaker 1: two of them.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Like starving them.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Starving them. Their hands were bound. They had duct tape
- 49:36Speaker 1: on them. In Utah, they were both convicted, she and
- 49:39Speaker 1: the other woman. And I don't really understand this, how
- 49:42Speaker 1: the sentence works, but they said it can go anywhere
- 49:44Speaker 1: from one to 60 years because the 60 years could
- 49:49Speaker 1: be all the counts that she has been convicted of.
- 49:52Speaker 1: So it's four years here, five years here, neglect this, that.
- 49:55Speaker 1: So then other people are like, but wait, could she
- 49:57Speaker 1: also get out in a year? What I hate is
- 50:00Speaker 1: that now she's saying Quotes like this, which I think
- 50:03Speaker 1: just going to make your kid feel guilty again, fucking
- 50:05Speaker 1: with them.
- 50:05Speaker 3: I'm working on my.
- 50:06Speaker 1: She said to my babies, I believe dark was light
- 50:09Speaker 1: and right was wrong. I would do anything in this
- 50:12Speaker 1: world for you. Really? Yeah. Like give them fucking food. Horror.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Just horrible. I think, listen, every child abuser should be,
- 50:21Speaker 1: you know, get the worst punishment. Right. But when it's
- 50:24Speaker 1: your own child, I think it's so much worse because
- 50:27Speaker 1: how is this child ever supposed to ever trust anybody?
- 50:30Speaker 2: I know.
- 50:30Speaker 1: When their own parent. So anyway, she's gone. I don't
- 50:34Speaker 1: know why the dad is not being convicted, but I
- 50:38Speaker 1: guess it's because the dad was not in the home
- 50:40Speaker 1: when the kids were being abused.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Are they divorced or something?
- 50:42Speaker 1: Well, now they're getting divorced. They were separated at the time.
- 50:46Speaker 1: And I think also if he's proven to be of
- 50:50Speaker 1: the right sound of mind and everything, like we do
- 50:53Speaker 1: want the kids to at least have their one parent.
- 50:56Speaker 1: But I think in the end she'll probably do like
- 50:58Speaker 1: at least 15.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Hopefully. Yeah. Meanwhile, this woman's in trouble. She's just been arrested.
- 51:05Speaker 1: She posted that she had her daughter waxing other women's bikinis.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Is that a woman? But the shot of it is...
- 51:14Speaker 3: It's a woman.
- 51:15Speaker 1: It's bikini waxing.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Okay. You could also... You know what?
- 51:18Speaker 1: I don't know if that's a woman.
- 51:19Speaker 3: A man could get his butt waxed.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Poor little girl. Couldn't be older than six.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Doesn't look like it.
- 51:26Speaker 1: But then she also posted it and they said, well,
- 51:28Speaker 1: she was arrested for child neglect, child endangerment. I'm like,
- 51:31Speaker 1: what about child labor laws? Like, I feel like that
- 51:33Speaker 1: was so something of like the 1940s. But like, can
- 51:37Speaker 1: we start getting some parents convicted of child labor laws
- 51:41Speaker 1: when they put them on their TikToks and all this stuff,
- 51:43Speaker 1: but then also have them actually doing like the real work?
- 51:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:48Speaker 1: You should have a license for waxing this little girl.
- 51:51Speaker 3: If I were the person with my legs up like that,
- 51:53Speaker 3: if you guys could see this photo, it's unbelievable. But
- 51:56Speaker 3: I would be like, I don't know if she's got
- 51:59Speaker 3: the skills, but I feel like, you know what I mean?
- 52:03Speaker 3: I would have stopped it. That woman should be arrested
- 52:06Speaker 3: as well for not stopping it.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Or what if the woman is like, she had so
- 52:10Speaker 1: many clients. And so then she was like, you sit back,
- 52:13Speaker 1: put on this sleep gear mask, and I'll be in
- 52:17Speaker 1: to do it. And then she's like, to her little daughter,
- 52:19Speaker 1: go in and do it.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:21Speaker 1: And the daughter doesn't, you know, thought it was a
- 52:23Speaker 1: game or something. Listen, I just thought about the labor
- 52:27Speaker 1: laws that were broken when I was a kid.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 1: So my parents were realtors and my dad would rent
- 52:34Speaker 1: a truck and we would sit in the back of
- 52:37Speaker 1: a truck on top of all these pumpkins.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:41Speaker 1: We'd go to the place and buy the pumpkins.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Anywhere between five and seven dollars a pumpkin.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Why pumpkin?
- 52:48Speaker 1: Because we put it and say, Bob and Pam- McDonald's,
- 52:51Speaker 1: Country Club Realtors, welcome you to Woodland Hills. Enjoy your pumpkin.
- 52:55Speaker 3: But that's only in the fall.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Right. We did once a year. We put on everyone's doorstep.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 53:01Speaker 1: And we'd bring our friends. Oh. And we would go.
- 53:06Speaker 1: We'd have to walk up, you know, where we live.
- 53:08Speaker 1: There's hills. There's long driveways. And my friend Liz, she's
- 53:13Speaker 1: a little go-getter too, so she would go and rock
- 53:15Speaker 1: up there. One day, I just remember, she was like
- 53:18Speaker 1: running down, screaming, and there's like a, Two giant dogs
- 53:21Speaker 1: chasing after her. And then pumpkins rolling after her. And
- 53:25Speaker 1: she's like, ah! And then my dad's like, oh, Jesus.
- 53:29Speaker 1: And then we caught these two kids were like, oh,
- 53:31Speaker 1: these are fun. Let's go around the neighborhood and throw
- 53:34Speaker 1: them and break them.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Yeah, smash the pumpkin.
- 53:36Speaker 1: My dad, these kids couldn't have been older than 10.
- 53:39Speaker 1: He drove up in the truck as we're bouncing around
- 53:41Speaker 1: on top of the pumpkins. And he's like, and he
- 53:44Speaker 1: just grabbed them.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Like, again!
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:48Speaker 3: No, none of this is.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Grabbed him and was like, listen to me, you little shit. Yeah.
- 53:53Speaker 1: You know, and like, I was like, oh, fuck. He
- 53:56Speaker 1: did that at Magic Mountain, too. These kids jumped in
- 53:58Speaker 1: front of the line and pulled them from their collar.
- 54:01Speaker 1: And was like, get in the back of the line,
- 54:03Speaker 1: you little shit. Like, I can't believe. Yeah.
- 54:05Speaker 3: I mean, these days, like, you can't even walk up
- 54:08Speaker 3: to anyone's house anymore and put something on there. They'd
- 54:11Speaker 3: shoot you if you walked out. You know, it's like
- 54:12Speaker 3: a whole different world.
- 54:14Speaker 1: God, I know.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Even like selling door-to-door. Kids used to be able to
- 54:17Speaker 3: go sell door-to-door. Magazines and chocolates.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Can't do that anymore. Well, I'm glad people realized that
- 54:24Speaker 1: was weird.
- 54:24Speaker 3: I know it is weird. I used to, you know,
- 54:27Speaker 3: Newsday was.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Oh, isn't Girl Scout cookies coming around?
- 54:30Speaker 3: Yeah, they're around. You know what? I got a box
- 54:33Speaker 3: the other day. What flavor? My daughter's school.
- 54:34Speaker 1: What flavor?
- 54:35Speaker 3: S'mores. I got to tell you, I've never been a fan.
- 54:38Speaker 3: I always think they're a little hyped up. There are
- 54:40Speaker 3: better cookies on the market. Like back in the time
- 54:42Speaker 3: when they first came out.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I know, but you're supporting the Girl Scouts.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Hey, great. That's why I did it. But I always
- 54:47Speaker 3: thought they were only six bucks a box. I didn't
- 54:49Speaker 3: think it was too bad. I was like, oh, that's
- 54:50Speaker 3: not so bad.
- 54:51Speaker 1: That's a lot now.
- 54:52Speaker 3: I didn't think it was so bad.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Well, they went up. They used to be five a
- 54:55Speaker 1: box because I remember you could get four boxes for 20.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 54:57Speaker 3: So they went up.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Rightfully so. Everything's going up. Yeah. But- Of course, mint,
- 55:03Speaker 1: the mint ones. I will do it. But now it's
- 55:07Speaker 1: so easy because it's still on the parent. Because the
- 55:09Speaker 1: parents will like, they always knew that I didn't have
- 55:12Speaker 1: girls and Girl Scouts. So you hit up those parents
- 55:15Speaker 1: or boy moms. And you're like, hey, what do you want?
- 55:20Speaker 1: And then you just go to the people's house you know.
- 55:22Speaker 1: And you have your little girl. And you get to
- 55:25Speaker 1: see the little girl. I don't want to see the mom.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Put the kid in the outfit. At least have her
- 55:31Speaker 1: knock on my door so I can get the cuteness
- 55:33Speaker 1: from buying four boxes.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Now they just go out in front of a store.
- 55:36Speaker 1: They go in front of the pot places, the weed stores.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Good. It's great. Yeah, why not? I always felt like
- 55:42Speaker 3: the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts, whatever they're doing,
- 55:45Speaker 3: you know, we all found out what they were doing.
- 55:47Speaker 3: And I felt like they were sitting back like they
- 55:49Speaker 3: never– They never looked at the Girl Scouts and goes,
- 55:51Speaker 3: we got to get something over here. Like, they're killing
- 55:54Speaker 3: it with these cookies.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I know.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Like, why don't we sell beef jerky, something manly.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:58Speaker 3: Like, beef jerky or something.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Well, now because of the Boy Scouts.
- 56:01Speaker 3: They said. They're whittling sticks in the woods.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Well, now girls can be Boy Scouts.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 56:06Speaker 1: But then they're still.
- 56:06Speaker 3: But the Boy Scouts is gone, isn't it? No.
- 56:08Speaker 1: But girls can be Boy Scouts.
- 56:10Speaker 4: Good.
- 56:10Speaker 3: Have a couple of girls in there. Keep an eye
- 56:13Speaker 3: on things.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Well, they make sure my sons were in the Boy Scouts.
- 56:15Speaker 1: So there's a whole thing you do. You can never.
- 56:16Speaker 3: They get the Boy Scouts or Cub Scouts. Did your
- 56:19Speaker 3: boys get into.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Cub, and then you become a boy.
- 56:21Speaker 3: I know, so they went through.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but then come fifth grade, then it was just
- 56:26Speaker 1: like too much work, and Peter and I bailed.
- 56:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I never made it. I feel kind of bad.
- 56:30Speaker 3: My two younger brothers, my two older brothers did.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I would go do the camping thing, and then, like,
- 56:36Speaker 1: there was this one... There was this one thing where
- 56:41Speaker 1: we went to that museum where the dinosaurs are.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Museum of Natural History?
- 56:45Speaker 1: Yes, yes. And I thought it sounded so fun, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: it was um, spend the night, um, in the.
- 56:53Speaker 3: In the natural, like night at the museum.
- 56:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:55Speaker 1: So I brought, and I brought my other kids too.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I brought McKenzie, Drake and Brandon. And of course, Peter
- 57:01Speaker 1: was fucking smart. And he's such a prima donna. He's like,
- 57:04Speaker 1: I am not doing that. I'm like, well, I'm doing it.
- 57:06Speaker 1: If I want, we can not drink Santa, but I'm
- 57:08Speaker 1: going to be the fabulous mother.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Sleep on a hard floor with the kids.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Go all the way to LA, down to LA. We
- 57:13Speaker 1: do the kind of the fun tour, the eating, um,
- 57:16Speaker 1: And now it's time to set up the beds. Well,
- 57:19Speaker 1: I was smart enough to have never brought in the bedding.
- 57:22Speaker 1: It was in the car. So I'm like, OK, guys,
- 57:24Speaker 1: let's go get our bedding. And then we got in
- 57:26Speaker 1: the car and I go, you know what? Would you
- 57:29Speaker 1: guys just want to get ice cream on the way
- 57:30Speaker 1: home and just go sleep in our own beds? And
- 57:32Speaker 1: they're like, OK. They were always if I could always
- 57:35Speaker 1: get them to do what I wanted them to do.
- 57:37Speaker 1: They were never like, no, mom, you promise.
- 57:39Speaker 3: All right.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I heard. It was the worst night ever because all
- 57:45Speaker 1: the dads were snoring with those high ceilings, those acoustical ceilings.
- 57:50Speaker 1: It was just like the snoring going.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Back and forth. Sounded like dinosaurs had come back to life. Oh,
- 57:55Speaker 3: my God. What a nightmare. Yeah. This is the shit
- 57:58Speaker 3: I have to be doing soon. You know, all these
- 58:00Speaker 3: things you went through. I'm just starting.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I feel like the new millennial parents.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Right.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Which you are not one. But the millennial parents.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:09Speaker 1: You're an ex.
- 58:10Speaker 3: I'm an ex. Okay, whatever I am.
- 58:11Speaker 1: But. The millennial parents are kind of smarter about a
- 58:15Speaker 1: lot of things that I've noticed it since I've gone
- 58:17Speaker 1: back to my school. Like they're more logical. They're not sentimental.
- 58:22Speaker 1: They're like, so I feel like they're not going to
- 58:25Speaker 1: be doing all the dumb shit that we did, the
- 58:26Speaker 1: bake sales and all. They're going to make it that
- 58:29Speaker 1: as long as the kid learns some responsibility, but it
- 58:31Speaker 1: shouldn't land on the parent and it shouldn't be a
- 58:33Speaker 1: waste of people's time and money to make $ 12 profit.
- 58:36Speaker 3: I know.
- 58:37Speaker 1: It's just not worth it.
- 58:37Speaker 3: The bake sale at my daughter's school is so funny
- 58:39Speaker 3: because they have one and then the I see the
- 58:41Speaker 3: car line dropping the kids off. And I'm like, why
- 58:44Speaker 3: are we selling brownies for a dollar? This guy's driving
- 58:46Speaker 3: a $ 200, 000 car. Can't he just give you whatever you
- 58:50Speaker 3: need to build some dumb shit?
- 58:53Speaker 1: Drake, when he started at Calabasas.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:56Speaker 1: First of all, we made him ride his bike to Calabasas.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Pretty far.
- 58:59Speaker 3: That is.
- 59:00Speaker 1: And he then, his freshman year, realized that the vending
- 59:08Speaker 1: machines did not have... the spicy hot chips. So he
- 59:13Speaker 1: went and he copied.
- 59:15Speaker 3: Campaigned for?
- 59:16Speaker 1: No, he copied somebody else. Somebody else was already selling
- 59:20Speaker 1: shit out of his bag.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Oh.
- 59:22Speaker 1: You know. So he went to Costco and he did that.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Got hot Cheetos?
- 59:26Speaker 1: And then those kids came and tried to like start
- 59:29Speaker 1: shit with him. And, um, but no, he was making
- 59:32Speaker 1: a lot of money.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Really?
- 59:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:34Speaker 1: And then the school said, okay, now nobody, because the
- 59:36Speaker 1: vending machine people were like, what the fuck is going on?
- 59:38Speaker 1: No one's buying our vending machine food. And they're like,
- 59:41Speaker 1: because we have all these kids that are selling hot
- 59:44Speaker 1: Cheetos for like less, like it was like one 50
- 59:47Speaker 1: at the thing. He was selling it for a dollar. And, um,
- 59:50Speaker 1: so yeah. So whatever you can do.
- 59:53Speaker 3: School president for his, his campaign strict campaign strictly on
- 59:57Speaker 3: more peanut butter on the, peanut butter and jelly sandwich
- 59:59Speaker 3: is not enough peanut butter. And the whole school agreed
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: and he won. Now he's president of the school.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I remember I was just trying to run for treasurer
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and I said, the toilet paper has to be more plot,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: more plot, whatever. Sure.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Sure.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: But anyway, I, I didn't realize back then everyone hated
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: me then too. And I didn't win. Um, Khloe Kardashian, um,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: got in trouble for face tuning her cat.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: She faced tuned herself and her cat. I don't know
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: if it was on purpose. I'm thinking it was by mistake.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: But that's the real cat at the bottom and the
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Facetune is the top one?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: No, I think both are Facetuned.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: Oh, I was going to say, they look the same.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: I mean, don't, it doesn't, if you're Facetuning yourself.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Doesn't Facetune, so I don't even know all the different apps,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: but I just thought that was kind of funny. How
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: do you feel about this excessive, like these, okay, this wedding,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I came across this video and the girl comes out, ding, ding, ding, ding,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the Beyonce song and she's got four of her friends,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I don't know if they had to get out of
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: their bridesmaid's dress, they have to wear the single lady's outfit.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: This has been going on for quite some time now,
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: the choreographed.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: And the guy sits there and is, you know, she dances.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: And, I mean, just when you start to watch it,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: because it's pretty entertaining, by the fourth song of the medley,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: you're like, we got it. And then I'm always just like, what,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: first of all, already I can't believe what brides do
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: as far as these extravagant trips and all these things
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: that the bridesmaids have to do. But then to be like, okay,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: and you guys have to commit to like dancing, learning
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: routine and the guys too. And it's all because they
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: want this, they want to get I guess a couple
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: hundred people, a couple hundred thousand followers.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: That's the hope, I think. That's the hope, but what
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: do you do.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: With that then?
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: We're going to follow you and then we're going to
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: see you in your boring ass house and you're going
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to lose those followers. It's not going to be a
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: career because you did a dance at your wedding.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: But you have to go to rehearsals and stuff. Can
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: you imagine having to go to rehearsals at your friend's
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: house for the wedding? What am I doing?
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: We bitched about each other if someone was late to
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the one shower you were expected to attend, let alone
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you have to now go to numerous... Um, dance rehearsals.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I have to go to a wedding on Saturday. I'm
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: going to a wedding on Saturday. I thought I was
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: done with weddings, but I got a friend.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Who is this?
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: An older friend of mine. He's been a friend for years.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: First marriage or second?
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Third?
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I think it's probably. Fourth? It could be the fourth, but.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I believe it is.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: That's hot.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Uh, he's not even 60 yet. Yeah.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: And.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: So he asked me to say, he said, can you speak?
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: He doesn't have any family. I think I'm just.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: They're all dead?
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they're all dead. They are. They're all dead. And
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: I'm like, me and my brother. And my brother, the
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: only reason he didn't ask my brother is because my
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: brother doesn't know how a microphone works. He's an idiot.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: And so he's like, well, I guess Chris can speak.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: You know, I'll let him do it. And he asked
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: me if I would speak on Saturday. And I was like,
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: I don't. Like, I don't know. Like, you can't do
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: the roasty thing. Yeah, yeah. You do it for two
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: 22-year-olds that are getting married.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: You know, so I don't know. I'm just going to be.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: Just to. Good luck to you both, you know? Two
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: 58-year-old people getting married.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Well, I can't believe that when you asked me to
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: officiate your wedding, I thought that I would be besieged
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: with offers after.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. You did a great job.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Still the only time I've ever done it.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Good. Well, you don't want to be.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: No, you know what?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: It was so stressful to me.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: But it was so stressful because, you know, I've been
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: accused in my life. Making it about me.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: No. Yes. No. Yes. I will not stand here and
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: listen to this.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: So I think that's a really hard thing to do.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: But I've said this before. I do think if you're
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: not religious or you don't have a special pastor in
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: your life, it is great if you can find someone
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: that knows you.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Yeah. To marry you. Yeah.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: But I love doing it.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: It was fun.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I loved it. It was so fun. But I definitely think,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I definitely, yeah, that's the other thing people do, the speeches,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to have it go viral. This one girl, I just
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: saw another one where she gets up and she's like,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: she's young, but she did it to Ice Ice Baby.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: The speech?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh. And the groom and the best man are like,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: she's like, hey, stop. Everybody, now I'm like, this is
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: so bad. When I was in my sorority at Gamma
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Phi Beta at USC, we had to do sketches.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: We did it. we did a sketch and a rhyme
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to that because it's very easy to change the words to.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: So anyway, it wasn't getting a lot of love anyway,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: but I just am like, Oh my God, just have
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: a good time.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Can I, can I, can I bring out, I brought
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: some props with me, but this was, it's actually has
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: to do with a wedding.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: If you don't mind, please.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Uh, I don't know what to wear. Honestly, I don't
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: know what to wear to the wedding because it's, it's
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: a wedding of two 50 late 50 year old people.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: It's in like a restaurant down in like orange County and,
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: I don't think it's anything– like I don't think it's
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: even suity. But I can't wear jeans.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Of course.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: I have a suit.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I already know what I think you should wear. But
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: tell me what your thoughts are. What am I deciding between?
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: So the other day I was like– now let me
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: tell you my problem with suits. I have a suit
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: that I think would work.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: But now the last couple of years I bought suits
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: for different things that I've had to go to.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: And then what will happen is you'll spend $ 700, $ 800
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: on a suit.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: What about your wedding suit? It looks so nice. You
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: don't want to wear that one again.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: No, but it's like the cut is different. It was
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: six years ago. It's pretty fancy, that brown suit. I know,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: but it's already kind of gone. All right. I don't
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: think I have it anymore. Anyway, so I go, I
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: don't want to buy another suit that I'm going to
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: wear once and then five years later. Okay. So then
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: I'm like, I have these slim fit pants. And I
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: saw a guy wearing these type of shoes that I'm
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: about to show you. Okay. And I went and bought,
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: I saw them, I was performing the other night in Ontario.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: And I got there early.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: You went to the Ontario Mall.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Improv in Ontario Mills. And next to the improv is
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: like a Nordstrom rack. Nice. Had to kill some time.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: And I don't have time. It's a Saturday, the wedding.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: So I bought the shoes that I think are going
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: to work. Okay. For my look that I want. I'm
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: now going to show you the shoes. Okay. I'm wearing
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: them regardless of what you say or not. Okay.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Are you ready? I'm scared. I'm scared. Remember when you
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: first cut your hair really short? That still is a memory.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Just skip history.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I don't want this to be. Okay.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Wait.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Okay. Is there a camera?
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Yes. Okay.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: There you go. Now, A, I'm going to ask you
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: if you're honest opinion. Okay. First of all, I know
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: they look cheap. They look cheap, right? They're not like
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: the Gucci one or whatever. Oh, I don't know about
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: the Gucci. They're Steve Madden's, you know. 60 bucks out
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: the door.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: Um, okay.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: What's that white shit on it?
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: I don't know. It's from something in the bag. Okay. Too,
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: too chunky. Do I look a little like Alicia Silverstone
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: and Clueless? I think she wore the same.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I was talking about how I've been obsessed with watching
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: old millionaire matchmakers on Netflix because it's from 2011. The styles,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the thin lips, the not like everything about it is her.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: And her two sidekicks are what I like to call punkers.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: They'd be called emo today.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: And if those were bigger bottoms.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: That's what I was going, bigger bottom, like the Doc
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Martin bottom.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I think they're fine.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: It's a big bottom.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I honestly think they're fine.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Oh, good. I think they're probably going to be really comfortable. Mm-hmm.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: And they're going to, not that you need to be
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: any taller, but they're going to not hurt you in
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: the height department.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: And I don't think they're overly ridiculous. Are they super comfortable?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: They seem like they do.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: They're fine. I mean, you know, just for the day.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: I'm not going to wear them everywhere. I think I'm
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: good with it. Okay. Thank you. That makes me feel good.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: And then what?
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: A black suit? Kind of like a gray suit.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Very slim-fitting gray suit.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: A tie or no tie?
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: No tie.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: That's what I was going to say.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: No tie.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I would do crisp white shirt.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: That's what I got. Suit.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: No tie. Belt or no belt?
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Of course belt.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Love.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Black belt with these. Great.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Done.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Okay. So I can do it?
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Done.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: You can do it.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: Thank you. Next thing?
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: One more? A hot iron for your hair.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: The last time I was here, I mentioned a- Oh, yes.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: My God. It's Is this Juicy Scoop or Juicy Fashion?
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: The last time I was here, I said I was
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: in Vegas.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: And I said I had been there for a week.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: I was performing for a week in Vegas. And I
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: said that, you know, you get suck on crazy after
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: you're there for a week.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: And I said I bought myself a pork pie hat. Oh, yes.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: A lot of people were like, what is that? What
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: is that? Some people said they knew. Some people said
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: they didn't. And they said I need to see the hat. Okay.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: And I believe that I could pull this off. So
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: here goes. This is what it is. I bought it.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: I own this now.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: And I don't know if I'm, here you go. Can
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: I be this guy?
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Why not?
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Chris.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Why not?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: You went from a good looking former model turned comedian.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Okay. Now, wait a minute. Hold on.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Dork. Okay.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Dorky geek.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Wait. What about now?
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: No.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: No?
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: Still no?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: It's horrific.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: It doesn't go together.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: It ruins it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: My wife said the same thing. She's mortified. It's awful.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Absolutely mortified.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Now, take off the hat and keep the glasses on.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Okay. Hot.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Hot.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Wet. Yeah. Cute. I'm done.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Listen, it was only like 30 bucks. I didn't kill
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: myself over it. So no, no, no. One more time. It's, it's,
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: it's like, what about at the beach? You know, like
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: I'm at a beach bar. Hey, what's up?
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: You're telling me you're going to choose that over like
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: a really cool, just like worn out baseball hat. No, no, no.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: I'm saying I could throw a different thing.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: But I'm saying a baseball hat with cool glasses.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: That too.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: In your style.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: This is just one look.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Listen, let me tell you something.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: It's taken me a long time in my life to
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: figure out what works for me.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I don't care what comes into fashion or not.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: T-length. I will never wear a T-length dress. Do you
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: know what that is?
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: No.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: That is a dress. And instead of being long or short,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: it comes right here.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: So all you see are tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: ankles squirting out the bottoms. Awful look. It'll never happen.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: It'll never work for me.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: This is the T-length of this.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Yes. Never going to work for me.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: Fair enough. Thank you.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I will never do a low back deal.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Because I don't have a great back.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I don't have a great butt.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Use what you got. That, I don't know who that
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: looks good on. That was so much worse than I
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: ever thought.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: Like Bruce Willis or something. Didn't he used to, you.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Know, hey.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's, no.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: No and no.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: I thought it would just be fun.
