Antioch Standoff Ends with Surrender | Oakland News
In a tense standoff in Antioch, police responded to an apartment complex where 46-year-old Kevin Henry, with an active felony warrant for violating post-release supervision, refused to surrender. Threatening officers and brandishing a gas can, he allegedly warned of violence and arson. Neighbors were evacuated as SWAT and negotiators took over. Henry eventually surrendered just before 4 p.m., was treated for injuries, and booked into jail to face charges.
