- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: That's where we are. That's where we work. Hopefully that's
- 0:12Speaker 2: where you hang out before you get to work in
- 0:14Speaker 2: the morning. We got sunshine today. Highs in the mid 80s,
- 0:17Speaker 2: low 90s inland. I've gotten real use out of my
- 0:21Speaker 2: tank tops this season with all the heat.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Holy moly. Did I notice a new accessory on your hand?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm glad you noticed. I finally got what they
- 0:30Speaker 2: call a wearable. Is that what it is?
- 0:32Speaker 3: A wearable?
- 0:33Speaker 1: Is it on the finger that you.
- 0:34Speaker 4: No, that's his right hand.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Are you sure?
- 0:36Speaker 5: Yes.
- 0:37Speaker 2: It's on the finger that I what?
- 0:38Speaker 1: That you get married with. Tanya, that is his right hand.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I actually don't have a get married with finger on
- 0:45Speaker 2: my body. Newsflash. This is on the other hand, you
- 0:49Speaker 2: should know, but of all the people here, you should know.
- 0:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's on the other hand.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Like we learned right and left in preschool.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It's hard. He's flailing it around.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I can't quite tell.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Well, I'm not flailing it. It's just on my finger
- 1:02Speaker 2: because I'm supposed to keep it on so it can
- 1:03Speaker 2: read my activity throughout the day.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a thinner aura ring.
- 1:07Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 1:08Speaker 1: He's back on this track.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I did this a while back, and then I found
- 1:12Speaker 2: out too much about myself, and I would obsess about
- 1:15Speaker 2: the information. But I can go back right now. It
- 1:17Speaker 2: is the Oura Ring, actually.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But they made a thinner new model. That's the new one.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Oh, is that this?
- 1:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:24Speaker 2: So let me tell you about my sleep lesson. I
- 1:25Speaker 2: haven't even checked, but I get so excited. You know,
- 1:28Speaker 2: monitoring your sleep kind of ruins your sleep because you
- 1:31Speaker 2: get so excited to wake up to read about your
- 1:34Speaker 2: sleep that you don't sleep as long as you probably
- 1:36Speaker 2: could have if you weren't monitoring your data. So what
- 1:39Speaker 2: do I get?
- 1:40Speaker 1: And here we are.
- 1:40Speaker 2: All right, I got 66 last night. How's that?
- 1:43Speaker 1: Not great. That's a D.
- 1:44Speaker 8: Fair.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it says fair. Total sleep, five hours, 22 minutes.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Pay attention today. All right, I will. My REM was
- 1:55Speaker 2: 56 minutes. Deep sleep, one hour, eight. See, this is
- 2:00Speaker 2: the problem. This is why I quit this thing last time.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, because now you're going to have a bad day.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It's a little depressing.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'm only 58% ready for anything today. It says pay attention, Mike.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Pay attention when you're driving. Just be alert.
- 2:13Speaker 2: That's the message.
- 2:15Speaker 4: You need to take a screenshot of that and put
- 2:16Speaker 4: it into Chatty Petit and say, how can you make
- 2:18Speaker 4: this sound nice and encouraging? And I'm sure I could
- 2:22Speaker 4: flip it to where it makes you feel positive about
- 2:24Speaker 4: this report.
- 2:25Speaker 2: That's a better idea than just reading it. I'm just
- 2:27Speaker 2: going to do that every morning. Anyway, hi, good morning.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Let's pay some bills next day. Seacrest here. Tanya, you
- 2:33Speaker 2: mentioned my wearable, where it's giving me way too much
- 2:36Speaker 2: data about my... Pay attention, Ryan. I didn't sleep last night,
- 2:38Speaker 2: it says. Five hours and 22 minutes. Now that's causing anxiety.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Need a wearable for that. Tanya, what is going on?
- 2:48Speaker 2: You were coming in here with a backpack forever. I
- 2:51Speaker 2: only know you with a backpack. And now you have
- 2:54Speaker 2: got a shopping basket on wheels. Is that from Rouse? No.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's like what my neighbor uses when she walks
- 3:00Speaker 4: down to Rouse to get her groceries.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, or the farmer's market. You wheel that thing around.
- 3:04Speaker 9: And she's 75.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So.
- 3:10Speaker 2: What is that?
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't want the granny's youth.
- 3:15Speaker 2: It's what it is. It's a basket with wheels on it.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And you've got all your thing. I see coffee in there.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I see your purse items in there.
- 3:21Speaker 7: Yes.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Have you, have you migrated to this as your new bag?
- 3:24Speaker 10: So I didn't have a backpack before I had my bag,
- 3:27Speaker 10: like my one shoulder bag that I threw my laptop,
- 3:30Speaker 10: a tote.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Thank you, Sisney.
- 3:32Speaker 10: And I fear that my, my, The way that I
- 3:35Speaker 10: was standing was like leaning more towards the side that
- 3:39Speaker 10: I always wear.
- 3:39Speaker 1: My bag on.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You have to be careful with that.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And so I'm like, you know what? I'm just going
- 3:43Speaker 1: to get a wheelie to wheel up my stuff. Wait
- 3:46Speaker 1: till you have a baby on your hip. You're not
- 3:49Speaker 1: going to be worrying about wheelie carts. But my bag
- 3:53Speaker 1: doesn't even fit in the wheelie cart.
- 3:54Speaker 10: So I have to take everything out of my bag
- 3:55Speaker 10: and put it in the cart separately because the dimensions
- 3:59Speaker 10: are too small.
- 4:00Speaker 2: This happened to me with my wallet. For a long time,
- 4:03Speaker 2: because you sit on one side of your wall, and
- 4:04Speaker 2: then my back began to hurt. But why don't you
- 4:06Speaker 2: just put both straps of your backpack on to equal
- 4:09Speaker 2: out the weight? Right, that's a good idea.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Because I don't have a backpack. Then get a backpack
- 4:12Speaker 1: versus that.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I feel like a.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Backpack's not chic.
- 4:15Speaker 2: No, but here's the problem. Neither is that.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Girl!
- 4:18Speaker 2: That is the antithesis of chic. And I can see everything. Honestly,
- 4:25Speaker 2: there's so much in there. Yeah, you see everything, and
- 4:26Speaker 2: it clanks around. You're preparing for work, lunch, and it
- 4:30Speaker 2: looks like an evacuation. You are ready. You are earthquake ready.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You don't think this is chicer than a backpack?
- 4:38Speaker 5: Girl.
- 4:38Speaker 3: No.
- 4:39Speaker 11: No.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Would you like us to say it? Thank goodness you
- 4:44Speaker 2: are off the market because that is a deal breaker.
- 4:48Speaker 10: Now it's like I don't.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Have anything bogging me down. Like I'm just carrying, pushing
- 4:52Speaker 1: this little cart.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You're not carrying anything. You're wheeling it around with a
- 4:56Speaker 2: 78-year-old farmer's market cart that normally puts her fruit and
- 5:00Speaker 2: prunes in it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And the handle's so low, you have to crouch over.
- 5:03Speaker 2: That's going to be worse for your back. You're going
- 5:05Speaker 2: to have problems.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Dimensions are bad on this thing.
- 5:08Speaker 2: One resolution, one solution here creating the next problem. But
- 5:13Speaker 2: to each his own. I think we should talk about
- 5:16Speaker 2: this here before we get into a quote of the day.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And then after 7, paying another bill at 7.10. Ruby's
- 5:23Speaker 2: in the back room. You have to understand. We've got
- 5:25Speaker 2: the front room. That's what we're in. Then we've got
- 5:26Speaker 2: the glass window and the back room. I see Ronnie
- 5:30Speaker 2: in the back room. Good morning, Ronnie.
- 5:31Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 5:32Speaker 2: We've got Michaela. Oh, Michaela, can we get to some
- 5:35Speaker 2: of your dating app pick-up lines later? Because my voice
- 5:39Speaker 2: has been on there as your recommendation. I want to
- 5:41Speaker 2: hear how it's going.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah, how's that working out?
- 5:43Speaker 2: So that's coming up. And Ruby, let's just talk about
- 5:46Speaker 2: it because I think we all have this. You know
- 5:48Speaker 2: when you follow people early in life and you realize
- 5:52Speaker 2: you're still following them?
- 5:53Speaker 8: Yes.
- 5:53Speaker 2: But you cannot unfollow them because if you do, you
- 5:56Speaker 2: will carry guilt for unfollowing people you really don't even
- 5:59Speaker 2: care about, which is a psychological intersection of a problem.
- 6:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So, Ruby, what's going on?
- 6:04Speaker 9: That's where I'm at. I don't know why I feel
- 6:06Speaker 9: so guilty.
- 6:08Speaker 7: Um, there's this, it's just one person specifically that I
- 6:11Speaker 7: was really close to in high school.
- 6:13Speaker 9: We kind of grew apart.
- 6:14Speaker 7: Um, and now we're not close and I don't feel
- 6:17Speaker 7: inspired or I don't like love what she posts, but
- 6:20Speaker 7: then I feel guilty if I were to unfollow just
- 6:22Speaker 7: because I feel like there's so much history there that
- 6:26Speaker 7: it feels kind of like.
- 6:27Speaker 9: A breakup in a way.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Just mute her. That's what I do.
- 6:31Speaker 9: I feel like muting people know when you mute them though.
- 6:33Speaker 7: And so it just feels like if I'm going to
- 6:35Speaker 7: do it, I'm going to, I have to just unfollow,
- 6:37Speaker 7: but I don't know why there's that guilt.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Here's the way I handle it each and every day.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I was like, what are you going to say to this?
- 6:49Speaker 1: You're still following exes from like 10 years ago.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That's right. I don't think that's the whole roster. Which
- 6:56Speaker 2: is great, and I wish them the best. That's why
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm not doing an unfollow. I don't need to unfollow.
- 7:00Speaker 2: But if somebody is so far down in your past,
- 7:03Speaker 2: in your history, who cares? Let them keep the follow.
- 7:05Speaker 2: You don't think about them anyway. Don't pay attention to them.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But you do think about them when they pop up
- 7:08Speaker 1: in your feed, and you're like, why am I following?
- 7:10Speaker 1: Who is this person? And then you're like, oh, oh.
- 7:13Speaker 2: But I'm telling you right now, Ruby, the guilt you
- 7:16Speaker 2: will feel if you unfollow is worse than just following
- 7:20Speaker 2: and looking the other way. That's it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: He's not wrong. I don't know.
- 7:25Speaker 10: No, I agree with Ryan. I think I'm a firm muter.
- 7:28Speaker 10: Like if you're annoying to me, mute and goodbye.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And do they know when you mute?
- 7:33Speaker 5: No.
- 7:34Speaker 9: Well, I think some people know.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you can know.
- 7:37Speaker 9: There's like a whole article on Bustle about how people know.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 7:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But it's okay.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Because then like you never like any of their posts
- 7:44Speaker 4: or things like that.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And then it's very obvious.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Haven't you noticed some of those people have been awkward
- 7:47Speaker 2: towards you recently?
- 7:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Because you muted them? That's why.
- 7:50Speaker 1: No, because I never see them.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Where do you put your valuables? I got to tell you,
- 7:56Speaker 2: there's some really unique hiding places I'm going to share
- 7:58Speaker 2: with you next for your home. It's Kiss FM. Where
- 8:02Speaker 2: do you put your valuables? Not in a basket push
- 8:04Speaker 2: cart from the farmer's market. That's true.
- 8:07Speaker 3: No.
- 8:07Speaker 2: That's what Tanya's wheeling around here instead of a purse
- 8:10Speaker 2: or a backpack or a duffel bag or a briefcase.
- 8:13Speaker 2: So here we go. Where do you put your valuables
- 8:15Speaker 2: at home? Burglars know the tricks. I was reading about this.
- 8:18Speaker 2: They know where to look. So some unlikely places to
- 8:22Speaker 2: store things on the top of the list. Back of
- 8:25Speaker 2: the freezer.
- 8:26Speaker 5: What?
- 8:28Speaker 2: Back of the freezer.
- 8:29Speaker 1: These are the obvious places or? No, these are the
- 8:32Speaker 1: new places you should try. I feel like I knew
- 8:34Speaker 1: that one.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Put your valuables in the back of the freezer. In
- 8:37Speaker 2: a box labeled Christmas decorations.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Right.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Anything like that or Halloween decorations.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I feel like if these are the popular not. like
- 8:45Speaker 2: detectable places, they're going to become the places that people
- 8:48Speaker 2: look first. And the other is the bottom of the
- 8:51Speaker 2: laundry hamper.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 2: What's wrong with that? What's wrong with your laundry? But
- 8:58Speaker 2: don't you have like an insert protection insert?
- 9:01Speaker 1: You don't think you're going to like dig in there
- 9:03Speaker 1: and try to find valuables. You don't want to dig
- 9:05Speaker 1: through someone's dirty laundry. He's saying like under the little
- 9:08Speaker 1: like lap of fabric.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Instead of the toilet tank. Yeah, the linen part. Instead
- 9:14Speaker 2: of the toilet tank or the dresser drawers, I think
- 9:16Speaker 2: these are better. Anyway, today's quote. Frame it up your day.
- 9:19Speaker 2: You know, half of the battle is just mentally looking
- 9:22Speaker 2: through the right lens. And that's what this quote is about.
- 9:25Speaker 2: You can't always be at your best. Otherwise, it wouldn't
- 9:30Speaker 2: be your best. It would just be your normal. So
- 9:33Speaker 2: it's okay. Give yourself a break.
- 9:36Speaker 6: Love that.
- 9:37Speaker 2: 12.7, KISS FM. Rolled up on 7 o'clock this morning
- 9:41Speaker 2: and high. All right, 7.20 this morning, KISS FM. It's
- 9:44Speaker 2: a second date update. Sisney with the headlines first. KISS
- 9:47Speaker 2: FM headlines with Sisney.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Well, the Emmys were last night.
- 9:50Speaker 4: The Pit and Widows Bay took home the top prizes
- 9:53Speaker 4: at the Emmy Awards as Matthew Rhys became the first
- 9:56Speaker 4: person to win two lead acting categories in one night.
- 10:00Speaker 4: The Supreme Court rejected the president's efforts to restrict mail-in
- 10:04Speaker 4: ballots for the midterm election. Ten beachfront homes in Dana
- 10:08Speaker 4: Point have now been red-tagged following relentless coastal erosion and
- 10:13Speaker 4: high surf. And an entire local high school football team
- 10:16Speaker 4: has been suspended for a week due to unsportsmanlike conduct,
- 10:20Speaker 4: which means Victor Valley High School.
- 10:23Speaker 1: In Victorville will be forced to forfeit their next game.
- 10:27Speaker 2: All right, I'm going to pay a bill. We got
- 10:28Speaker 2: a second date update. It's Seacrest with you. Thanks for
- 10:30Speaker 2: listening to us. Thanks for streaming on our free iHeartRadio app.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Today's weather, we got sunshine and heat. Not quite as hot. Mid-80s,
- 10:38Speaker 2: low 90s inland. It's National Linguini Day. It's also National
- 10:42Speaker 2: Double Cheeseburger Day. Ooh, that's a tough one. Which would
- 10:45Speaker 2: you celebrate more?
- 10:47Speaker 5: Cheeseburger.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I don't need the double, though. What? I just want
- 10:51Speaker 2: the single patty. Double the protein. I prefer a thicker
- 10:55Speaker 2: single than a thinner double.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I see what you're saying.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I'm with you on that. And then all the veggies,
- 11:00Speaker 4: like the lettuce and the tomatoes and the grilled onions.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I like the architecture to have more things in it
- 11:04Speaker 2: than just like that double patty.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it gets too meaty.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I'm for, yes, the single. Anyway, that's what you're celebrating today.
- 11:13Speaker 2: The other thing that's making news is you can, if
- 11:15Speaker 2: you're a parent, apparently on the teen setting, if your
- 11:18Speaker 2: kid's in the Uber, you can live stream right into
- 11:21Speaker 2: the driver's phone to see how your kids are behaving
- 11:24Speaker 2: in the Uber, where they're going. Not tracking. This is
- 11:26Speaker 2: like video streaming into the car. Right, Sissany?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's using the front-facing camera on the driver's.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Phone when you're using uber teen accounts which i didn't
- 11:35Speaker 4: even know there was uber teen accounts.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Guys that was we are teens and i don't.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Have a teen i know so it was really interesting
- 11:41Speaker 4: i was like oh wow that's crazy that there's an
- 11:43Speaker 4: option for this but i can't decide if it's genius
- 11:45Speaker 4: for safety or maybe just a little too much you
- 11:48Speaker 4: know i just riding around in an uber do you
- 11:53Speaker 4: want to have full access into the uber at all
- 11:56Speaker 4: times for your teen I mean.
- 11:58Speaker 2: You probably want to have, I'm not a parent yet.
- 12:00Speaker 2: And if I had a teenager, it'd be a long
- 12:01Speaker 2: time from now. But I think that if you're a parent,
- 12:04Speaker 2: you probably want the option. Actually, if you're the driver,
- 12:07Speaker 2: maybe you like this too, because it keeps the kids
- 12:10Speaker 2: on guard.
- 12:10Speaker 4: That's true. If they're being rowdy or being annoying and
- 12:14Speaker 4: loud and not really kind of being polite.
- 12:17Speaker 2: This is basically the same thing as when we were
- 12:20Speaker 2: growing up and our mom could look in the rearview
- 12:23Speaker 2: mirror of the minivan and see what we were doing
- 12:24Speaker 2: in the backseat. It's the same exact thing. They're just
- 12:27Speaker 2: not in the vehicle with you.
- 12:29Speaker 4: It's just crazy how we have surveillance like this now
- 12:32Speaker 4: in our homes, on our phones.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Life 360, just all the things. It's giving Truman Show.
- 12:36Speaker 4: But when we were kids, I was riding the public
- 12:39Speaker 4: bus down to Seal Beach by myself at 13 years old,
- 12:43Speaker 4: and it was fine.
- 12:45Speaker 1: My parents didn't even know where I was.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You're lucky to be here. I'm not.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Right how did i survive my teenage years.
- 12:50Speaker 2: How did you make it how did we all survive
- 12:52Speaker 2: our teens and encyclopedias how did we make it through
- 12:55Speaker 2: school um a thousand dollars to pay a bill in
- 12:59Speaker 2: the 323 can you believe we had to look stuff
- 13:01Speaker 2: up in a book.
- 13:01Speaker 4: The other day my son maxson asked me what's an
- 13:04Speaker 4: encyclopedia and i was like it's a book that tells
- 13:06Speaker 4: you things he's like i want.
- 13:07Speaker 2: How about mom can you drive me to that building
- 13:10Speaker 2: that they keep the books in the library that thing
- 13:14Speaker 2: yeah Let me grab Edgar. It's time for a second
- 13:16Speaker 2: date update. Edgar, my brother, thank you so much for
- 13:18Speaker 2: reaching out in Van Nuys. So he says, met this
- 13:21Speaker 2: girl at a house party without air con. It had
- 13:25Speaker 2: been one of those super hot days. So I went
- 13:26Speaker 2: out on the patio to get some air. There she was.
- 13:29Speaker 2: There she was. We really hit it off. We laughed.
- 13:33Speaker 2: We kissed all on the patio.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Wow.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Edgar, look at you. Then you hung out a few
- 13:37Speaker 2: times casually. And you figured it was time for a
- 13:40Speaker 2: real date. So you took her out and then what
- 13:43Speaker 2: happened Edgar? Because she's clearly blowing you off now. Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Yeah. So after that meeting on the patio, a few
- 13:50Speaker 5: nights later, like I texted her, um, that I was
- 13:53Speaker 5: thinking about taking my dog to the dog park on victory. Um,
- 13:58Speaker 5: so she grabbed her dog and joined us and that
- 14:00Speaker 5: was great. Like super casual. Um, A couple nights later,
- 14:05Speaker 5: I was like, do you want to come over and
- 14:07Speaker 5: watch the new Whisper Man movie? She likes like psychological thrillers.
- 14:12Speaker 5: And she did. And she ended up spending the night.
- 14:15Speaker 5: So that was a lot of fun. And after that,
- 14:19Speaker 5: I figured like, okay, let's do like an actual real date.
- 14:22Speaker 5: So we went to Wood and Water in Sherman Oaks.
- 14:28Speaker 5: And the next thing I know, Ryan, I'm blocked.
- 14:34Speaker 2: That's not the next thing you know. Something had to
- 14:36Speaker 2: have happened in between the wooden water and this.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Like, I've been thinking about it a lot. I remember
- 14:43Speaker 5: joking about how healthy her salad was. But I don't know,
- 14:48Speaker 5: like she was making fun of my green pants. I
- 14:49Speaker 5: thought it was all like just fun, you know.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Were you wearing green pants? Wait, were you wearing green pants?
- 14:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Green pants? How green?
- 15:01Speaker 2: What color green? Leprechaun green? Like Keebler elf green?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Right, that matters.
- 15:06Speaker 5: No, no, no. Banana republic green.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Like army green. Like a sage.
- 15:10Speaker 2: So like a hunter green. Yeah, forest. Like a sage leaf.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Like you're out in the wild redwood forest green. Okay,
- 15:18Speaker 2: I like that.
- 15:19Speaker 5: They're dapper. Look. I like them.
- 15:21Speaker 2: But you also, you pointed out her eating habits and
- 15:25Speaker 2: her healthy eating habits and maybe she took offense to that.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I don't know. We're going to get online. I believe
- 15:29Speaker 2: she's agreed to come on with us next, okay?
- 15:32Speaker 5: Thanks. Yeah. And if I offended her for that, like
- 15:34Speaker 5: I absolutely apologize. You know, it was never my intention.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Could be too late.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Now it's the second date update. Edgar reached out to us.
- 15:43Speaker 2: He met Julie at a party. They had some casual
- 15:46Speaker 2: nights together. Then they have spending the night together. And
- 15:49Speaker 2: since they went on a real date, she's been blowing
- 15:53Speaker 2: them off and he doesn't know why, but he wants
- 15:55Speaker 2: to know. So Edgar, just to make sure we hone
- 15:58Speaker 2: in on this. If you were to guess. Any inkling
- 16:02Speaker 2: of an idea? Why do you think maybe perhaps she
- 16:06Speaker 2: would blow you off after all of these times together?
- 16:09Speaker 2: How did you leave it with her the last night?
- 16:16Speaker 5: Well, she had spent the night the last time we
- 16:18Speaker 5: hung out, so I thought it might go the same
- 16:20Speaker 5: direction after our dinner date. And I did ask, like,
- 16:25Speaker 5: do you want to come back over? And she just said, sorry,
- 16:27Speaker 5: I have to get up early. And then she left. Um,
- 16:30Speaker 5: not even a kiss this time. So not sure. Didn't
- 16:36Speaker 5: feel good.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Okay. I understand. So we've got her on the line.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Be very quiet. Let's see what we can find out. Okay,
- 16:43Speaker 2: here we go. Hello, Julie. It's Ryan Seacrest. You're on
- 16:48Speaker 2: one or 2.7 kiss FM with us. How are you?
- 16:50Speaker 5: Uh, I'm good.
- 16:53Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Great.
- 16:56Speaker 2: So we're calling you about a guy named Edgar that
- 16:58Speaker 2: you went out with a few times. When I say
- 17:00Speaker 2: his name, what do you think about?
- 17:04Speaker 8: Oh, yeah, I did. I did go out with him
- 17:08Speaker 8: a few times.
- 17:11Speaker 2: How did that go?
- 17:11Speaker 8: Yeah, we hung out a few times. Sorry, why am
- 17:15Speaker 8: I on the radio talking about this guy?
- 17:19Speaker 2: It is the right question to ask. We met him
- 17:23Speaker 2: and he wanted us to help to find out why
- 17:27Speaker 2: it is that you're blowing him off, to be frank.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 17:33Speaker 8: Um, well, I liked him. We had fun, but we
- 17:39Speaker 8: had chemistry. I just realized I hadn't really seen him
- 17:42Speaker 8: in a situation where he was interacting with other people.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I understand. And so when you did see him interact
- 17:49Speaker 2: with human beings, what did you see?
- 17:53Speaker 8: Well, I didn't like.
- 17:54Speaker 3: What I saw.
- 17:55Speaker 8: We were at a restaurant and, um, You know, he
- 17:58Speaker 8: made all the decisions for me. Like, they asked, do
- 18:01Speaker 8: you want tap or sparkling water? He just said tap.
- 18:04Speaker 8: They asked whether we wanted appetizers. He just said no
- 18:07Speaker 8: before asking me.
- 18:10Speaker 2: You know, that wasn't the worst of it. Okay, what
- 18:14Speaker 2: was the worst?
- 18:16Speaker 8: He snapped at the waiter, like, snapped fingers.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Oh, no, no. Oh, that guy's out. That guy's out
- 18:23Speaker 2: for me. I mean, he was out at the water
- 18:25Speaker 2: for me. Yeah, it was, like, rude.
- 18:26Speaker 8: Disrespectful so rude it was like he was calling a
- 18:29Speaker 8: dog i mean that was it for.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Me oh my goodness yeah edgar is on the phone
- 18:35Speaker 2: with us i don't need any more julie edgar what
- 18:37Speaker 2: is that about bro is that.
- 18:38Speaker 5: True uh i wasn't snapping like that like in a
- 18:42Speaker 5: rude way i said excuse me and like he didn't
- 18:45Speaker 5: hear me because it was loud in there so i
- 18:47Speaker 5: just like did your fingers.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Cross each other with skin and make a noise.
- 18:52Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, like in the moment.
- 18:55Speaker 8: Yeah, there's no non-rude way of snapping your fingers at
- 18:59Speaker 8: another human being who's serving you.
- 19:01Speaker 1: It's gross.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I got to be honest with Julie and Edgar here. Julie,
- 19:05Speaker 2: I'm on your side. I've not gone out with other
- 19:08Speaker 2: people before because I've seen them the way that they
- 19:10Speaker 2: treat servers, and I don't like it at all. And
- 19:13Speaker 2: that tells me a lot about them. And I think, Edgar,
- 19:16Speaker 2: this is– first of all, Edgar, you should be more
- 19:19Speaker 2: aware of how you treat other people. Second of all,
- 19:22Speaker 2: and maybe this is a great conversation because if you're unaware,
- 19:25Speaker 2: that's fair, but you need to know you're doing it
- 19:28Speaker 2: and it doesn't make the other person probably feel good.
- 19:29Speaker 2: And it certainly doesn't make you look good. And that's
- 19:32Speaker 2: why Julie's not going to see you again. So let's
- 19:34Speaker 2: use this as a moment to get better.
- 19:35Speaker 5: I mean, fair enough. In my defense, I wasn't doing
- 19:41Speaker 5: it in a rude way. I didn't like, I wasn't
- 19:43Speaker 5: rude to him with my words or anything. It was
- 19:46Speaker 5: just loud. I was trying to get their attention, you know?
- 19:50Speaker 5: to get people's attention. Yeah.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Anyway, it's not going to work out.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Edgar.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Thank you so much for calling us. Good luck to you,
- 19:59Speaker 2: my brother. Thanks. Okay. Julie, thank you very much. I
- 20:05Speaker 2: think this is good for all of us to hear.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 20:09Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:11Speaker 5: I'm out. I'm out.
- 20:13Speaker 2: In that situation.
- 20:14Speaker 10: Also, if he can't hear you, if you're shouting, what
- 20:17Speaker 10: makes you think they're going to hear a snap?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Like, it doesn't even make sense.
- 20:21Speaker 2: He must have a very booming finger.
- 20:23Speaker 1: No, it's his habit. And that's gross.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you. On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Michaela, I
- 20:35Speaker 2: really was honored that you used that new feature on
- 20:38Speaker 2: Hinge where you can have a friend leave basically an
- 20:41Speaker 2: endorsement about you to say, look, this is a good person.
- 20:44Speaker 2: You should really go out with this person on Hinge.
- 20:47Speaker 2: And so Michaela asked me to do the honors. And
- 20:50Speaker 2: here is what I recorded to leave on our Hinge profile. Hi,
- 20:54Speaker 2: this is Ryan, Michaela's friend, colleague at work at Kiss FM,
- 20:58Speaker 2: where she is a diligent and hard worker in the
- 21:01Speaker 2: back room. I would say Michaela is one of the
- 21:03Speaker 2: most reliable people on the staff here. Fun, charming, outgoing, skippity.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Skippity is her personality. She's very skippity. And up for anything.
- 21:13Speaker 2: So if you'd like to take her out, I suggest it.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Four stars.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Five stars.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Five stars. I recommend five stars. And please let me
- 21:24Speaker 2: know how it goes. Thank you for your interest in Michaela.
- 21:29Speaker 9: The last.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Part is very Disneyland.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I didn't think it was not scripted. Now, you got
- 21:35Speaker 2: some traffic off that?
- 21:36Speaker 11: I did.
- 21:37Speaker 1: A lot of people thought it was AI.
- 21:40Speaker 2: They thought it was AI? AI doesn't say dumb things
- 21:43Speaker 2: like that.
- 21:44Speaker 1: What did they say?
- 21:45Speaker 12: Okay, I can read. The first one was, how is
- 21:48Speaker 12: this not AI yet still so AI?
- 21:51Speaker 1: I think that's a compliment. Funny guy.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Was the guy picking up on you? Did he ask
- 21:57Speaker 2: you out?
- 21:57Speaker 9: That's all he said. Oh, wow.
- 22:00Speaker 1: And he's kind of cute.
- 22:01Speaker 8: Okay.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Respond.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 22:02Speaker 2: All right. Well, what else did you say? Did this
- 22:04Speaker 2: really spike your traffic? It did.
- 22:07Speaker 12: I got a lot more responses because you can either
- 22:09Speaker 12: leave a note, an opening line, or just like a photo.
- 22:11Speaker 1: And a lot more people left opening lines.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Well, let's get to some stuff here. I want the
- 22:16Speaker 2: feedback of this testimonial because we got to get you
- 22:18Speaker 2: hooked up.
- 22:19Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I agree.
- 22:20Speaker 12: So then another guy said, haha, wait, is that really
- 22:23Speaker 12: Ryan Seacrest? I hope you yelled at him for only
- 22:26Speaker 12: giving you four stars at first.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Fair.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know how many stars you could get inside, Hinge.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Four seems like a lot.
- 22:32Speaker 1: He said giving ya four stars, which makes me say goodbye.
- 22:36Speaker 1: What's wrong with ya?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Oh, he's out?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Giving ya?
- 22:38Speaker 5: Ya.
- 22:39Speaker 2: You don't think dudes should talk like that?
- 22:41Speaker 1: No, it should be giving you four stars.
- 22:43Speaker 2: What else?
- 22:45Speaker 12: Another guy was like, I have absolutely no idea what
- 22:47Speaker 12: skippity means, but I feel like I need to find out.
- 22:49Speaker 2: That's cute. That's cute. And you're welcome for me. Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I like this guy.
- 22:58Speaker 2: That looks just like your husband. What if Michaela goes
- 23:00Speaker 2: out with the Robbie doppelganger? Is that awkward?
- 23:02Speaker 9: He's hot.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I say swipe.
- 23:06Speaker 2: He looks just like your husband. A side-by-side is needed
- 23:11Speaker 2: up on social media, Ronnie.
- 23:13Speaker 1: She's zooming in on it.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:15Speaker 2: So this is going on. These are guys that are
- 23:19Speaker 2: trying to, you know, respond and go out with Michaela
- 23:21Speaker 2: on hinge because I left that testimonial anymore.
- 23:24Speaker 12: Yeah. Another guy was like, I came here because I
- 23:26Speaker 12: thought you were cute. And then Ryan Seacrest started talking
- 23:28Speaker 12: to me.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Ooh, let's make a choice.
- 23:33Speaker 9: This one is really funny.
- 23:34Speaker 12: If Ryan Seacrest is your reference, I feel like I
- 23:36Speaker 12: should probably submit an application.
- 23:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:39Speaker 2: You see, that is my brother. That dude knows when
- 23:43Speaker 2: dudes endorse a girl, it's good news. That brother knows.
- 23:47Speaker 2: He is a dude. He is a guy. He's my man.
- 23:49Speaker 2: All right. So, I mean, is anybody? I like Robbie.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I mean, Skippity.
- 23:54Speaker 6: Me too.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I like him.
- 23:56Speaker 9: I like him a lot.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I always think you should go out with him out
- 23:58Speaker 2: of interest to see how much he looks like Tanya's husband.
- 24:01Speaker 9: It's so funny.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:03Speaker 1: One in three, I think I'll like that. Yeah, I
- 24:05Speaker 1: liked one too.
- 24:05Speaker 5: All right.
- 24:07Speaker 2: One in three. All right, good. Well, Michaela, look, I
- 24:10Speaker 2: can only do so much.
- 24:12Speaker 9: I appreciate you.
- 24:13Speaker 2: To help. Keep us posted on that.
- 24:15Speaker 5: I will.
- 24:16Speaker 2: And if anybody else listening would like an endorsement on
- 24:19Speaker 2: Hinge or Bumblebath or whatever you're on, I am open, willing,
- 24:23Speaker 2: ready to go off the cuff with you. Just Bumble.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Just Bumble.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Bumblebath.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Not Bumblebath, just Bumble.
- 24:28Speaker 2: It's a new one.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You're out of the game.
- 24:31Speaker 2: So long, you don't even know about Bumblebath. All right,
- 24:34Speaker 2: let's talk about it. This is something to think about.
- 24:39Speaker 2: And I don't know, I could see arguments on both sides,
- 24:41Speaker 2: but would you rather be dumped or the one that
- 24:45Speaker 2: initiates the breakup?
- 24:47Speaker 1: So I've only ever been dumped. I've never broken up
- 24:51Speaker 1: with anybody.
- 24:51Speaker 10: So I only know what it's like from that perspective,
- 24:55Speaker 10: which I thought was brutal. But now watching Alex Earl
- 24:58Speaker 10: go through being the one that did the dumping, I'm like,
- 25:01Speaker 10: I actually think it was a blessing in disguise that
- 25:04Speaker 10: I never was that person.
- 25:06Speaker 2: This is in her reality show. She was the one
- 25:09Speaker 2: that initiated the breakup with Braxton Berrios.
- 25:11Speaker 12: Yes.
- 25:12Speaker 10: And the show's called Earl Meets World. And in the
- 25:15Speaker 10: first couple episodes, she really gives fans an inside look
- 25:18Speaker 10: at the breakup with football player Braxton Berrios. The two
- 25:21Speaker 10: of them dated for about three years. And what we
- 25:24Speaker 10: see is basically Braxton was ready to get engaged.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And Alex was not.
- 25:28Speaker 10: That's kind of like the genesis of the breakup, along
- 25:31Speaker 10: with some other little things, but nothing like major that
- 25:33Speaker 10: broke them up, really.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Alex was ultimately the one to call it off.
- 25:37Speaker 10: And spoiler alert, in the final episode, she calls Braxton
- 25:41Speaker 10: directly to ask whether he still believes that there's no
- 25:43Speaker 10: chance of them getting back together because you're basically watching
- 25:47Speaker 10: her him and ha over this decision that she made
- 25:50Speaker 10: you know what i mean because she dumped him so
- 25:52Speaker 10: she's like did i make the right decision did i
- 25:53Speaker 10: not make the right decision my family loves him like
- 25:56Speaker 10: i love him i want to get back together but
- 25:58Speaker 10: it's too soon like i you know i want to
- 26:00Speaker 10: end up with him i want to grow old with
- 26:01Speaker 10: him but i'm not ready to get married and you
- 26:02Speaker 10: see her go through this agony and i'm like i've
- 26:05Speaker 10: never experienced that because i was always dumped and i
- 26:07Speaker 10: think it's better because when you're dumped you have no
- 26:10Speaker 10: choice but to move on it was so painful to
- 26:12Speaker 10: be dumped i know but but but you have no
- 26:14Speaker 10: choice Whereas if you're the one.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I see what Tanya's saying.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Because if you're... The one that is breaking up, you're
- 26:21Speaker 2: going to carry some guilt and doubt.
- 26:23Speaker 5: Doubt.
- 26:23Speaker 2: You're going to wonder, did I make the right choice?
- 26:25Speaker 2: She might live with that forever. And so you're losing
- 26:26Speaker 2: a lot of sleep.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:28Speaker 2: You're losing a lot of sleep and it can cause
- 26:31Speaker 2: toxins in your body. If you're the one being dumped...
- 26:34Speaker 2: It is a brutal blindside slap in the face rejection moment.
- 26:38Speaker 2: But you have no choice other than to eat ice cream,
- 26:41Speaker 2: be sad and depressed, and get back out there. Yes.
- 26:44Speaker 2: So I'd rather be dumped.
- 26:46Speaker 5: I agree.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I never thought I would say this, but after.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Watching the show. I can't wait to get dumped. I'm
- 26:50Speaker 2: so excited.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I don't know. I disagree with you guys. I was
- 26:53Speaker 1: always the one that dumped, except for one time. I
- 26:56Speaker 1: was dumped.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Oh, now she's bragging, and that's annoying.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Always the dumpy. Only to defend my point.
- 27:01Speaker 11: Dumper.
- 27:02Speaker 4: I was dumped once and I still think about that
- 27:05Speaker 4: dump because it was so brutal.
- 27:07Speaker 1: It was so painful. I had to get into therapy.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Like it was the worst thing that ever happened to me.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Well, then you have thin skin.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Because the rest of us have thicker skin because we
- 27:17Speaker 2: have been the dumpy.
- 27:18Speaker 6: Maybe.
- 27:19Speaker 2: When we're dumped upon, we're the dumpy.
- 27:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And you are the dumper.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I mean, it changes your whole trail.
- 27:25Speaker 2: You aren't strong enough to be the dumpy. You probably
- 27:27Speaker 2: dump people you didn't want to dump. So they didn't
- 27:29Speaker 2: make you the dumpy.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:31Speaker 2: You want the control.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Because you want the control.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I want to be full control.
- 27:34Speaker 4: You didn't even need.
- 27:35Speaker 2: To dump, but you activated your dump because you didn't
- 27:37Speaker 2: want to be the one that was dumped.
- 27:39Speaker 4: No, I dumped because of the same exact reason. It
- 27:41Speaker 4: was too serious and I was too young.
- 27:43Speaker 1: And I was like, bye. We're not getting married at 21.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So am I excited to get dumped soon or do
- 27:48Speaker 2: I want to hold on that? This made me just
- 27:51Speaker 2: figure this out.
- 27:51Speaker 10: This made me feel happier to be the dumpy than
- 27:54Speaker 10: I've ever felt in my life.
- 27:56Speaker 6: Yes.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Guilt, guilt, guilt.
- 27:58Speaker 5: All right.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Coming up next four pack to Disneyland to go to
- 28:01Speaker 2: Halloween time. If you want to play Halloween merch higher
- 28:04Speaker 2: or lower, I got Sydney on the line that wants
- 28:07Speaker 2: to win some Halloween time tickets at Disneyland. Good morning,
- 28:10Speaker 2: Sydney and Anaheim. How are you?
- 28:12Speaker 5: I'm doing well.
- 28:13Speaker 6: How are you?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Fantastic. Thanks for listening to us. First of all, are
- 28:17Speaker 2: you ready to win some of these tickets?
- 28:20Speaker 11: I'm ready.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So Disney has unveiled its Halloween merchandise for the year.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I'm going to give you a Halloween souvenir and you
- 28:33Speaker 2: tell me if it's higher or lower than 50 bucks. Okay.
- 28:36Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:38Speaker 2: First one. Got to get three right before you get
- 28:41Speaker 2: three wrong. The first one. Mickey and Minnie Halloween pajamas.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Higher or lower than $ 50? Higher.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:48Speaker 5: $ 54.
- 28:48Speaker 2: 99. You better sleep like a baby with those on. Okay. Now,
- 28:58Speaker 2: next one. Got one. Got to get two more. The
- 29:01Speaker 2: Oogie Boogie votive candle holder. Oogie Boogie votive candle holder.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Higher or lower than $ 50?
- 29:08Speaker 4: $ 50.
- 29:09Speaker 8: I'm going to say lower.
- 29:11Speaker 2: You are really good at the merch, Abby.
- 29:13Speaker 3: $ 34.
- 29:13Speaker 5: 99.
- 29:13Speaker 2: You're crushing it. Okay. Four tickets to celebrate Halloween time
- 29:19Speaker 2: at Disneyland Resort, if you get this right. The Nightmare
- 29:23Speaker 2: Before Christmas Slow Cooker. Higher or lower than $ 50?
- 29:30Speaker 12: Higher.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yes, you are correct.
- 29:34Speaker 5: $ 74. 99.
- 29:34Speaker 2: That's a.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Cute crock pot.
- 29:39Speaker 2: You did it. You're going. Thank you for listening.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Enjoy.
- 29:42Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 29:45Speaker 2: You are very welcome. Do you have the crock pot
- 29:47Speaker 2: or are you just looking at the picture?
- 29:48Speaker 1: No, I just think it's so cute.
- 29:51Speaker 2: And they are genius. Throw that thing in there, go
- 29:53Speaker 2: to work, come back, and it's moist, done, and it'll
- 29:55Speaker 2: melt in your mouth.
- 29:56Speaker 1: So true.
- 29:59Speaker 2: On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Got Sophia on the line
- 30:05Speaker 2: in Westchester. Sophia, your parents are still tracking you at LMU.
- 30:09Speaker 2: What's going on here? How can we help?
- 30:11Speaker 3: Hi, yeah, good morning. So I'm a freshman at LMU
- 30:15Speaker 3: and living away from home from the first time. My
- 30:18Speaker 3: parents still have my location on their phone. And I
- 30:23Speaker 3: didn't mind it at first. You know, I figured they
- 30:26Speaker 3: would feel a lot less worried. About, you know, with
- 30:31Speaker 3: the whole location sharing thing. But now that school is
- 30:35Speaker 3: officially started, I'm really starting to not like them having
- 30:39Speaker 3: my location.
- 30:41Speaker 5: They keep texting me.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Why are you at this apartment?
- 30:43Speaker 8: Why are you out so late?
- 30:44Speaker 3: I was with my friends up until midnight.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah. That's what we were just talking about. Too much surveillance.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I was with my friends.
- 30:56Speaker 5: We were out.
- 30:57Speaker 3: I was at her apartment until midnight. And then I
- 31:00Speaker 3: got my, my mom called.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Me and she's like, well, why are you there?
- 31:03Speaker 3: Are you okay? And I'm like, mom, I'm fine. I'm
- 31:07Speaker 3: just hanging out with a friend.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Now, Sophia, let me just, let me just stop you there.
- 31:15Speaker 2: You can't get out of your parents tracking your location,
- 31:19Speaker 2: your first year leaving. And at school, it's just not,
- 31:22Speaker 2: they're not going to say yes. They're going to want
- 31:23Speaker 2: to track you. So in a situation like this, I
- 31:26Speaker 2: always ask myself, what would the CIA do?
- 31:30Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 31:30Speaker 2: And they would leave their phone somewhere and get a burner.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Or not take their phone with them when they go
- 31:36Speaker 2: out with their friends or get the second phone. You've
- 31:38Speaker 2: got to ask yourself, what would an intelligence officer do
- 31:42Speaker 2: and play that game? And that way, they think they're
- 31:46Speaker 2: on your path, but they're not. Basically, you become a spy.
- 31:49Speaker 1: That seems extreme. Does she have to get a burner phone?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Yes, she does. That's how you keep, because then you
- 31:56Speaker 2: leave your phone at your door. Exactly. That's what, let
- 32:00Speaker 2: me tell you what kids are doing. Leaving their phone
- 32:02Speaker 2: at home, grabbing the burner, and heading out with their homies.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I mean, he's not wrong. Am I making this up?
- 32:09Speaker 1: You're not making it up.
- 32:11Speaker 2: You're not making it up.
- 32:11Speaker 6: No, you are right.
- 32:12Speaker 1: They leave the phone. I just don't know that they
- 32:14Speaker 1: have a burner phone.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Like, they just go out without a phone. What would
- 32:18Speaker 2: you do, Ronnie? Because your mom tracks you every morning
- 32:20Speaker 2: to wake you up. Yes, she does.
- 32:22Speaker 11: And I love a helicopter parent. I think it makes
- 32:24Speaker 11: me feel really, really safe if my mom knows where
- 32:26Speaker 11: I'm going. But here is the hack to this. Because
- 32:29Speaker 11: if you have an iPhone, you can transfer your location.
- 32:33Speaker 11: So say, like, I have my laptop. I can transfer
- 32:36Speaker 11: my location to my laptop and my laptop will be
- 32:39Speaker 11: at home. So that's what I would do, just transfer it.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Sophia, I'm going to put you on with Ronnie
- 32:43Speaker 2: and talk to himself. Please, Ronnie, share the book.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Let's get some of that info.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Just know there is a workaround to all of it
- 32:51Speaker 2: without your parents knowing. Sophia, we're happy to help. Thanks
- 32:54Speaker 2: for calling and good luck at LMU.
- 32:56Speaker 1: And wait till that duo comes out.
- 32:57Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Who knows what that puppy can do?
- 33:00Speaker 2: All right. We have voice notes called Talk Backs inside
- 33:03Speaker 2: our iHeartRadio app. Got some here. The red microphone, you
- 33:07Speaker 2: tap it and you send them to us. This is
- 33:09Speaker 2: from Carla Cissany Antani in North Hollywood.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Okay.
- 33:12Speaker 2: And Carla has thoughts on Cissany, a married woman.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Okay.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Who told the story about painting naked men at a
- 33:21Speaker 2: friend's birthday party.
- 33:22Speaker 1: This is what she's calling him?
- 33:23Speaker 2: Here's Carla.
- 33:24Speaker 12: I can't get over the conversation you guys were having
- 33:26Speaker 12: about Sissany going to that naked art party.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I'm totally down.
- 33:33Speaker 1: That sounds like fun, and I'm married.
- 33:37Speaker 2: That's my girl. I thought that was going to go
- 33:38Speaker 2: the other direction. Let's go.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I thought she was on our side.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I still stand by the fact that that would make
- 33:44Speaker 2: me uncomfortable if I were married to you.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Same.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Then come with me.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Why would I want to go with you to paint
- 33:50Speaker 2: a naked man? Just curious.
- 33:52Speaker 1: The beauty of art.
- 33:54Speaker 2: There's no beauty in that to me.
- 33:56Speaker 9: Nor me.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It's honestly therapeutic to paint.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Painting is therapeutic. Painting male anatomy is not therapeutic to me.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I didn't paint the anatomy. Yeah, but you had to
- 34:08Speaker 1: look at him. I didn't really look at it.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Why would you not paint the anatomy? I showed you
- 34:12Speaker 2: my painting. It was very avant-garde. Why did you avant-garde it?
- 34:18Speaker 5: Why?
- 34:18Speaker 1: I didn't want to get there into detail of like.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Poor guy's out parading his float and you don't even
- 34:23Speaker 2: put it in the painting.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Didn't put it in the painting out of respect.
- 34:27Speaker 2: I think that's disrespectful.
- 34:30Speaker 5: Actually.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I don't get you.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Well, you guys. Anyway, Sandra and Whittier has marriage advice
- 34:38Speaker 2: for who?
- 34:39Speaker 1: For you.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Oh. Hey, Ryan.
- 34:42Speaker 6: Try not to stress about marriage. When the right person
- 34:45Speaker 6: comes along, you're going to know it and you're going
- 34:48Speaker 6: to feel it. It's a totally different feeling than you've
- 34:51Speaker 6: ever had before. And then from there, you'll know whether
- 34:55Speaker 6: marriage is right for you or you guys will just
- 34:59Speaker 6: be on the same emotional journey and don't need marriage.
- 35:05Speaker 2: See, that's a breath of fresh air right there.
- 35:08Speaker 1: It's true.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I'm not stressed. I think that she crystallizes it, though.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Sandra. Christina in Boston listening on
- 35:15Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app. She says, Ryan, you're not the only
- 35:18Speaker 2: person that wants their coffee so quickly in the morning
- 35:20Speaker 2: they put the coffee maker in their bedroom.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Hey, Ryan.
- 35:22Speaker 10: It's Christina from Boston, and I, too, have a coffee
- 35:25Speaker 10: maker in my bedroom.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I'm not sure what that says about us, but I'm
- 35:28Speaker 1: going to take it as winning.
- 35:31Speaker 2: First of all, you sound like a very good person
- 35:33Speaker 2: just by your voice note. And what that says is
- 35:36Speaker 2: we are all about the business. Let's get down to it.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Let's be efficient. Let's get going. Let's get the party started.
- 35:42Speaker 2: And the smell of that coffee while I'm brushing my
- 35:45Speaker 2: teeth before I have it is exciting. Little things in life.
- 35:48Speaker 2: That's going to wrap it up for us. Thanks for
- 35:50Speaker 2: being here. Cisney, we'll take you for another hour. If
- 35:52Speaker 2: you missed anything today on the show, the second date update,
- 35:55Speaker 2: Michaela's hinge pickup lines, it's all on our podcast midday.
- 35:59Speaker 2: On Air with Ryan Seacrest. We're back tomorrow morning. It's
- 36:01Speaker 2: Kiss FM. Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
