- 1:12Speaker 1: the wedding veil, and we are going to discuss those
- 1:16Speaker 1: emails when we review the second part of that movie.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I know it's not the second part.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yes, you know what. I don't know if I like
- 1:25Speaker 2: that title, but we're going to talk about that then.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So thanks for your emails about your thoughts on that movie.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It varied quite a bit and I'm excited to dig
- 1:35Speaker 2: into those. But we will talk about those in the
- 1:38Speaker 2: next few weeks. Yeah, keep them coming totally.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Do you want a synopsis about the Perfect Caring?
- 1:45Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:47Speaker 2: Influential and anonymous food and wine Christina slips on ice
- 1:51Speaker 2: and falls while visiting a winery, and no one knows
- 1:55Speaker 2: who she is. Single father Michael and his family take
- 1:59Speaker 2: her in to help her jog her memory. Starring nasnine
- 2:02Speaker 2: contractor and Brennan Elliott.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Let's talk about some news and notes about the perfect pairing.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You know, I didn't find a whole lot other than
- 2:13Speaker 2: like location information.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I have several notes here. Oh hit me, Well, I'm
- 2:20Speaker 1: sure you have this one. It was originally titled Love
- 2:22Speaker 1: and Ice Wine.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yes, do you have thoughts.
- 2:26Speaker 1: About the original versus the title they went with.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't. I don't particularly like the first title, and
- 2:32Speaker 2: I don't really like the second title either No.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I liked the Perfect Pairing. I think it worked like
- 2:39Speaker 1: wine pairing. They're pairing this dessert wine with a dessert
- 2:42Speaker 1: double Chadre.
- 2:43Speaker 3: The couples of hair. I thought it was okay.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I do think sometimes they rename these movies super generic.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I wonder if they're like, we can't call it love
- 2:54Speaker 1: an ice wine because some of our super conservative watchers
- 2:57Speaker 1: aren't gonna be happy about that.
- 3:00Speaker 2: What would they not be happy about?
- 3:01Speaker 3: I don't know, a movie about alcohol.
- 3:03Speaker 2: What. I don't know. Oh maybe yeah, maybe they're like,
- 3:07Speaker 2: oh that's a turn off wine. I don't know. Perhaps, sure,
- 3:12Speaker 2: all right, what else you got? So?
- 3:14Speaker 1: It was filmed in Canada at the pillar Estates Winery,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and the grape vines that we see are artificial grapevines,
- 3:23Speaker 1: but real grapes set up near the actual grape vines
- 3:27Speaker 1: at the winery. I have so many questions about that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna get to it. And also, Hallmark released a
- 3:35Speaker 1: Perfect Pairing dessert wine as a companion to this movie
- 3:38Speaker 1: as public part of the Hallmark Channel Wine Club, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: the first run I don't know what you call a
- 3:46Speaker 1: wine gets sold out. Oh, there must be some fans.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Out there. But it wasn't an ice wine, was it. No,
- 3:56Speaker 2: it was a sweet dessert wine.
- 4:00Speaker 3: It was a.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Dessert wine, So I don't know if it technically qualifies
- 4:04Speaker 1: as an ice wine. This late harvest Sauvignon blanc was
- 4:07Speaker 1: produced from nearly frozen grapes thirty seven degrees at harvest
- 4:12Speaker 1: and has a finished residual sugar of seventeen percent by weight.
- 4:14Speaker 1: That means nothing to me. They used the actual Hallmark
- 4:18Speaker 1: wine in the movie.
- 4:19Speaker 3: They just put the.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Hauling Brook Winery. Oh, lab okay, all right, cool, Well,
- 4:26Speaker 2: I guess I don't like dessert wine. I don't like
- 4:29Speaker 2: sweet wine. No, thank you very much. I read that
- 4:33Speaker 2: at the Pellar Estates where they filmed this at they
- 4:38Speaker 2: do actually have a icy lounge there and it's called
- 4:42Speaker 2: the ten Below Ice Wine Lounge. So I think that
- 4:47Speaker 2: scene where they look like they're in an igloo is
- 4:50Speaker 2: an actual like icy tasting room.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Well, according to Nasanian contractor herself on Twitter, that was
- 4:57Speaker 1: an actual ice room and it.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Was very well ahmed.
- 5:01Speaker 3: It was.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Oh it's like, what's that movie from last year where
- 5:05Speaker 2: they were like in those icy can of the ice hotel.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I'll leave a link.
- 5:09Speaker 2: To that episode in our show notes, but yeah, that
- 5:13Speaker 2: Ice Hotel didn't have a bathroom. If I recall, right,
- 5:17Speaker 2: I don't know how do you function? I don't get it? No,
- 5:20Speaker 2: thank you don't. No.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So, Julie Sherman Wolf has a writer credit on this movie,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but she's one of three writers. And I went to
- 5:28Speaker 1: look at her Twitter because she typically live tweets during
- 5:30Speaker 1: the premierees of her movies, and she dropped one tweet
- 5:33Speaker 1: that said that she did some work on this, so
- 5:37Speaker 1: she's not the main writer, which frankly explains a lot.
- 5:40Speaker 2: That makes me feel so much better because I did
- 5:42Speaker 2: not want to come on here and trash a Julie.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Sherman Wolf project. Yes, and I have something to say
- 5:48Speaker 1: about that. In my first impression, do you have any
- 5:50Speaker 1: more news and notes before we move on to that.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That's it.
- 5:55Speaker 3: My first actual impression is God, I'm dying.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I am dying, and this is why can I tell
- 6:04Speaker 2: you I have written down? My first impression is now
- 6:08Speaker 2: I know why the Hallmark Sorry. My first impression is
- 6:12Speaker 2: now I know why Hallmark pulled this movie as their
- 6:14Speaker 2: leadoff hitter for New Year New Movies. Snore sounds.
- 6:20Speaker 1: It was so boring now I have actual texts for
- 6:25Speaker 1: my first impression.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Let's hear tell you what it is.
- 6:27Speaker 1: This is standard, middle of the road, typical Hallmark. Fair
- 6:32Speaker 1: By that, I mean we've seen Hallmark make some improvements.
- 6:37Speaker 1: This is kind of classic, not offensively bad. There's leads
- 6:43Speaker 1: in this movie who I typically enjoy, but there was
- 6:47Speaker 1: nothing memorable about this movie for me.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I know, I love.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Julie Sherman Wolf, but even her master script writing can't
- 6:53Speaker 1: manufacture chemistry between the leads.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Agree. Now, I'm curious about your opinion. This was scheduled
- 7:06Speaker 2: to be their first movie for New Year News New Movies,
- 7:09Speaker 2: and it was changed and the Gen Lily movie got
- 7:13Speaker 2: put in that spot. Do you think Hallmark saw this
- 7:17Speaker 2: and was like, no, we can't. We can't start off
- 7:21Speaker 2: twenty twenty two with this movie. We're going to bury
- 7:24Speaker 2: it somewhere third week of January.
- 7:26Speaker 3: It would not surprise me.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It was just so.
- 7:31Speaker 1: All right, It's two weeks out and I've already forgotten
- 7:34Speaker 1: that generally movie. I'm looking at it where your heart belongs. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 1: I couldn't even tell you what that movie's about right now.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I just remember she was unlikable in it. Yes, her
- 7:43Speaker 1: characting executive her character. Yeah, she was extremely unlikable. Okay,
- 7:48Speaker 1: is there anything you liked about this movie?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Okay, so I have a little list, but they're very generic,
- 7:55Speaker 2: so can I dive into it please? I liked Christina's mom,
- 8:00Speaker 2: who came into the kitchen and was telling her, giving
- 8:02Speaker 2: her some words of wisdom.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Did you like when she was like, Mom, that sounds
- 8:06Speaker 1: like something I should be written on a piece of
- 8:08Speaker 1: reclaimed wood.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Totally? I died and I was like, is that a
- 8:11Speaker 2: Julie Sherman wolfline? Because if it is, I'm here for it.
- 8:15Speaker 2: It felt like one right. I appreciated that they had
- 8:21Speaker 2: a mature woman of color in this role. It wasn't
- 8:26Speaker 2: just like some generic actor like I just I like
- 8:30Speaker 2: the mom. I was very pleased with the mom and
- 8:34Speaker 2: the casting of the mom, and I thought her lines
- 8:36Speaker 2: were funny. I needed more mom. I liked her boots
- 8:41Speaker 2: though once she slipped and fell in.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I could never wear them. Oh god, me neither. No.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I just want to put diatris this week.
- 8:49Speaker 2: You think I could wear those booths?
- 8:53Speaker 3: What did you like?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Before I finished my list?
- 8:56Speaker 3: Again? Very generic?
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was thrilled to get a Winter movie, even if
- 8:59Speaker 1: it does come with digital snow.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Oh god, the freaking digital snow.
- 9:04Speaker 1: As we've kind of talked about, New Year New Movies
- 9:07Speaker 1: has moved away from Winterfest, which I'm okay with. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: don't need five straight snow movies hitting me over the head.
- 9:12Speaker 3: But I was.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I did enjoy this wintery movie, and similar to your like,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I liked the development of the whole family. I liked
- 9:20Speaker 1: the dad John, and I liked friend Diane. I think
- 9:24Speaker 1: I maybe liked their Christina's relationship with Diane more than
- 9:28Speaker 1: her relationship with Michael.
- 9:30Speaker 2: M I'm impressed even know their names. I don't even know. Oh.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I wrote them down. I had to look them up.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I watched this movie three or four days ago. I
- 9:39Speaker 1: could not remember a single character's name. I had to
- 9:41Speaker 1: look up every single one to take my notes.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I'll tell you it took me three or four days
- 9:45Speaker 2: to watch this movie. It took me too. Yep. I
- 9:52Speaker 2: like that they use one of my favorite songs ever
- 9:54Speaker 2: in this movie, and it's the New Radicals. You gotta
- 9:56Speaker 2: get what you give. When they were singing in the
- 9:59Speaker 2: car when they driving, are you familiar with that song?
- 10:02Speaker 2: Probably not?
- 10:02Speaker 3: Huh, I'm not even sure.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I noted that scene.
- 10:06Speaker 2: She remembers things and they're in the car and he's
- 10:09Speaker 2: like singing the lyrics since she starts singing to you
- 10:12Speaker 2: and he goes, wow, you remember this song and she's like, oh,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I think I just heard it in a story yesterday
- 10:17Speaker 2: or something like that. So it was a non memorable scene.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But I that's one of my favorite songs ever. This
- 10:26Speaker 2: is the only thing I liked about it. I'm interested
- 10:30Speaker 2: in a redemption story. Like here you have like this bitchy,
- 10:34Speaker 2: rigid like food and wine reviewer and then like she
- 10:39Speaker 2: bonks her head and now she like does better. Right, yes,
- 10:44Speaker 2: but we I don't think we got enough of CJ
- 10:47Speaker 2: before she like hit her head and became joy do
- 10:50Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like she wasn't fully unlikable
- 10:53Speaker 2: for me, she just was like a busy.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Reviewer, right, We really only get backstory, like she had
- 11:02Speaker 1: given this wine a bad review. And I spent a
- 11:06Speaker 1: lot of time thinking about that because they talk a
- 11:09Speaker 1: lot about it, and they go back and forth in
- 11:11Speaker 1: the movie about whether c J should have given them
- 11:13Speaker 1: another chance, and then Michael comes back and he's like, no,
- 11:16Speaker 1: we screwed up, Like we deserved that review. Because we
- 11:18Speaker 1: sent out faulty product. I kind of I flip flop
- 11:21Speaker 1: on my opinion about that review, but we didn't get
- 11:25Speaker 1: to see a lot of the punishing reviewer CJ. Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 1: that they were trying to make her out to be
- 11:33Speaker 1: right exactly. And that's funny you mentioned about like the
- 11:36Speaker 1: review and how you flip flop back and forth. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: wrote down in my notes, I'm like, she gave an
- 11:41Speaker 1: unfavorable review of a bad wine.
- 11:43Speaker 2: How can she be faulted for that? Right?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Yes, I just think.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Like the family like writing, you know, this whole like
- 11:52Speaker 2: storyline narrative of like, oh we got a bad review
- 11:55Speaker 2: and now our business is going down the tubes. Well
- 11:58Speaker 2: you made bad wine or you rent out bad point,
- 12:01Speaker 2: so you know, sorry.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Yeah, she didn't ruin things for you. You made a
- 12:08Speaker 1: mistake that affected your business.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Right exactly.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Moving on?
- 12:13Speaker 2: Wished for? What did you wish for?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Let me hear it, less douchey boyfriend Kevin.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Okay, I have to say last night, Megan, I laughed
- 12:24Speaker 2: so hard on my couch because I sent Megan a picture.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I was cracking up so hard and I was waiting
- 12:29Speaker 2: for like, lol dead response from you. He didn't send
- 12:35Speaker 2: me one. I was cracking up so hard. So the
- 12:38Speaker 2: shape of his head is like the shape of my thumb,
- 12:41Speaker 2: Like my thumb is like just like a it looks
- 12:45Speaker 2: like a depressor stick, you know what I'm talking about,
- 12:47Speaker 2: Like a tongue depresser.
- 12:49Speaker 3: A tongue depressor.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Yes, that was the shape of that man's head too,
- 12:55Speaker 2: like it just I don't know anyway.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate it. I came right back with I
- 13:00Speaker 1: know I don't like him either. I was playing along. Well,
- 13:08Speaker 1: here's why I don't like him. Okay, Christina really wants
- 13:12Speaker 1: him to settle down, but she kind of doesn't. She's like,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm not really that interested in him, so I'm not
- 13:16Speaker 1: that bothered by the fact that he doesn't want to
- 13:17Speaker 1: settle down. But she does make some comments about planning
- 13:20Speaker 1: for the future and do she boyfriend Kevin here too
- 13:24Speaker 1: four will be known as DBK, says the market is
- 13:30Speaker 1: too volatile to plan ahead. Well, if you are dating
- 13:35Speaker 1: someone I don't the financial market.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Oh okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 13:40Speaker 1: If you're dating someone who says this to you, like you,
- 13:43Speaker 1: run so fast.
- 13:47Speaker 2: And run away, take off those boots and run away
- 13:50Speaker 2: and don't slip and fall and hit your head. Yeah,
- 13:53Speaker 2: because that means he puts more priority on workover relationship,
- 13:58Speaker 2: So yes, get out now.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Also, he does not care about the fact that she
- 14:05Speaker 1: is missing. He's not that concerned. He thinks she's ignoring
- 14:08Speaker 1: her phone call his phone calls because they'd kind of
- 14:11Speaker 1: gotten a little bit of an argument, but he kind
- 14:13Speaker 1: of lets it go, leave some snide messages and then
- 14:16Speaker 1: never follows up. Doesn't bother calling her editor or the
- 14:21Speaker 1: hotel just to make sure she's arrived. He says, let
- 14:24Speaker 1: me know you're there, but doesn't follow at all until
- 14:27Speaker 1: everybody else starts looking for her, and then shows up
- 14:30Speaker 1: right at the moment she's gonna have a big moment
- 14:32Speaker 1: with Michael.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Get out of here, you're so foo.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Those are details that I did not really catch in
- 14:40Speaker 2: this movie because I didn't like it. Here's something I
- 14:43Speaker 2: wished for. I was really looking forward to Brennan Elliott, Like, Okay,
- 14:50Speaker 2: I think in my mind I've built him up as
- 14:52Speaker 2: like this, like hot, sexy, scruffy, like daddy, and he
- 14:57Speaker 2: didn't deliver at all in this movie for me.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Not he was so boring.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I was like, give me something else, Like is he
- 15:06Speaker 2: on our Jews of Hallmark T shirt. No he's not.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Oh he's not on a shirt.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Okay, good, he's lucky. We would have had to put
- 15:15Speaker 3: a line.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, he's a wowy Zoe for me in photos,
- 15:20Speaker 1: but doesn't come through on screen so far.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I are a homework.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Fan and love Brennan Elliott elsewhere. If there's somewhere you've
- 15:29Speaker 1: seen him that he really does it for you, please
- 15:32Speaker 1: let me know. I would like for him to get
- 15:34Speaker 1: his redemption story.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Me too, Me too, because I like your redemption story.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So I.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Think this movie needed less ice wine. Yeah, I know
- 15:45Speaker 2: it's I know it's about ice wine. I'm just not
- 15:47Speaker 2: interested in ice wine. I'm sorry.
- 15:49Speaker 1: It's like not going to hear the ice Vine origin
- 15:52Speaker 1: story told twice twice?
- 15:54Speaker 2: I know what? And did I hear the word strusel
- 15:58Speaker 2: in this movie? And I know he did? Okay you did,
- 16:01Speaker 2: which made me wonder what is the difference between Strudel
- 16:05Speaker 2: and Strussel. That's a great question, and prior to you asking,
- 16:09Speaker 2: I would have pictured the same thing in my mind,
- 16:12Speaker 2: or a similar pastry with some sort of filling with
- 16:15Speaker 2: some sort of icing on top. Both bring up the
- 16:19Speaker 2: word evoke for me. Yes, yes, Now, I know listeners
- 16:23Speaker 2: are probably like, what are you talking about, Wendy with strudel.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I went on a strudel rant on Patreon when we
- 16:31Speaker 2: reviewed the Tyler Hines movie. So check that out.
- 16:34Speaker 1: You're and veil available now Megan and Wendy dot com,
- 16:37Speaker 1: slash Patreon.
- 16:38Speaker 3: You can hear the strudel rant, say strudel one more time.
- 16:42Speaker 2: See I'm telling you it works there? Right? What else
- 16:47Speaker 2: did you wish for? I needed less kid? Too much
- 16:50Speaker 2: kid in this movie.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I knew you were not gonna enjoy this kid so
- 16:53Speaker 1: earnest just so much.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Why do I hate children? I don't know, children, guys,
- 17:01Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Like I do have a teenager, we're kind of out
- 17:06Speaker 1: of like the earnest. Sure, I'd love to help you
- 17:08Speaker 1: bake cookies. Let's just picture our teenagers with this stranger
- 17:11Speaker 1: in our home and their willingness to partake in activities
- 17:15Speaker 1: with them, my eleven year old teenagers.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Nope, right right, I think that's I think that's what
- 17:22Speaker 2: it is. Yep.
- 17:24Speaker 1: And for did you see that? I had to take
- 17:26Speaker 1: a different take because this movie was so boring and
- 17:29Speaker 1: unremarkable that I had absolutely nothing in the did you
- 17:32Speaker 1: see that? Column?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Okay, all right, so do you have did you see that?
- 17:36Speaker 3: And then I'll tell you what I did.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Oh man, look, I have a few, but they're mostly
- 17:41Speaker 2: like questions. And I'm going to say stop with the
- 17:44Speaker 2: fake driving scenes, like somebody needs the pony up and
- 17:47Speaker 2: pay for a rig to film these people actually driving.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And they could share it among all of the Hallmark
- 17:53Speaker 1: serious keeping market in Vancouver.
- 17:56Speaker 2: They're in this convertible scene and she's wearing a beanie
- 17:59Speaker 2: that has a palm on it that is not moving
- 18:01Speaker 2: at all in the wind from the convertible. It's so
- 18:07Speaker 2: flip and stupid. It makes me so like angry now
- 18:12Speaker 2: it's it gets me as angry as like digital snow.
- 18:17Speaker 2: So I don't like to get a rig like they
- 18:22Speaker 2: film a bazillion movies in Canada, Like they don't have
- 18:25Speaker 2: a rig that they can just throw this car kind
- 18:27Speaker 2: on because it's so mad it makes me furious. Nasnine
- 18:35Speaker 2: contractor had like these little wispy lashes on the like
- 18:41Speaker 2: very corners of her eyes. I don't know if it's
- 18:43Speaker 2: her natural lashes or if they put like falsies on them.
- 18:48Speaker 2: They were so distracting to me. Because she was very
- 18:53Speaker 2: minimal makeup. She had like just like a winged eyeliner,
- 18:56Speaker 2: but then these like corner wispy eyelashes that were just
- 19:00Speaker 2: like very distracting. Did she even notice them? Did you
- 19:05Speaker 2: know them at all? She's so pretty? I was like,
- 19:10Speaker 2: where was the makeup department? Like, I don't, I don't know.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Why do they keep her so minimal?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Because she did have her purse.
- 19:17Speaker 2: That's a good point, Megan, very good point. Well where'd
- 19:21Speaker 2: she get all those clothes from if she didn't have
- 19:22Speaker 2: her leg? Oh? I see, I don't know details that
- 19:26Speaker 2: I skipped through.
- 19:27Speaker 1: That's why she goes to Like now she's wearing like
- 19:29Speaker 1: comfy leggings and sweaters because Diane brought her clothes and
- 19:33Speaker 1: more comfortable shoes.
- 19:35Speaker 2: And that's yes, that is okay, fine, okay, whatever, fine.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I need to talk about the grapes, yep. And here's
- 19:44Speaker 2: my question. Are wine grapes the same as grapes we'd
- 19:47Speaker 2: buy in a grocery store.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I don't think they're smaller, right?
- 19:51Speaker 2: Those were like big, huge, like green, regular grapes.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Well, what I read said that they were real grapes,
- 20:00Speaker 1: but they were not the grapes.
- 20:02Speaker 2: That someone bought it Kroger down.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You know, and huh yes, because the vines I believe
- 20:09Speaker 1: were artificial.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Okay, The last thing I have here is that I
- 20:14Speaker 2: looked up what a corked wine means, so that was
- 20:18Speaker 2: that was the big thing, is that they sent out
- 20:20Speaker 2: this corked wine and then that's what she reviewed and
- 20:23Speaker 2: it was so bad. So I was like, what is
- 20:25Speaker 2: a corked wine? Like I thought it was like when
- 20:27Speaker 2: like the cork gets in the.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Bottle you open it badly.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, that's not what it means. It means that
- 20:32Speaker 2: the wine is tainted with a compound that makes it
- 20:36Speaker 2: taste or smell less than pleasant, ranging from wet dog
- 20:41Speaker 2: smell to wet cardboard to a beach bathroom. So yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 2: that could be real bad. It's like a bacteria or
- 20:48Speaker 2: something that or I'm not sure if it's anything.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It's your name because you have a wine cork and
- 20:53Speaker 1: corked wine that feels easy to confuse exactly.
- 20:58Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean, if you're gonna open up a
- 21:00Speaker 2: bottle of wine that you're getting ready to review and
- 21:02Speaker 2: it smells like your wet dog, and I might give
- 21:05Speaker 2: a bad review too.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Indeed.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Ugh, gross, So for did you see that. I went
- 21:13Speaker 1: and looked at the perfect pairing hashtag on Twitter to
- 21:16Speaker 1: see what people had to say, and I pulled just
- 21:18Speaker 1: a few tweets that I liked and I would like
- 21:21Speaker 1: to share them. Okay, The first is from TV Underscore
- 21:26Speaker 1: xmus Movie Fan and their tweet is there's no upside
- 21:30Speaker 1: to juggling eggs and oh right, who of course you're.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Going to drop them?
- 21:35Speaker 2: Yeah, totally, And then they all laughed. I would have
- 21:38Speaker 2: been pissed if somebody would have dropped an eight and
- 21:40Speaker 2: then that's something I have to clean up.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Nope.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Hashtag no fun, No, Wendy and I, we are not fun.
- 21:50Speaker 1: We are not here for your whimsical egg juggling that
- 21:52Speaker 1: is just going to create a mess.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Nope.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And if you ever decided to do a food fight
- 21:57Speaker 2: while we're baking, I will murder.
- 21:58Speaker 3: You yees out of my house.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Hannah at Pastel Heart nineteen ninety seven, which is that's
- 22:06Speaker 1: the year she was born, That's the year I graduated
- 22:09Speaker 1: high school, says do they spontaneously get up to do
- 22:14Speaker 1: random stuff in the middle of the night every night?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because she has like a sleepy gift.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Because she couldn't sleep at night and that's why she
- 22:24Speaker 2: was up baking. Is that what she was doing?
- 22:26Speaker 1: And then the wine was perfect in the middle of
- 22:29Speaker 1: the night time, Oh yeah, exactly. And they have a
- 22:31Speaker 1: snowball fire in the middle of the night.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Oh the snowballs. I just have to say, like those
- 22:37Speaker 2: were not real snowballs, and they were pelting each other
- 22:39Speaker 2: with these hardballs that you could see on the ground.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Right that didn't like break up into a million pieces.
- 22:45Speaker 1: When the final tweet is from Nazny and Contractor herself,
- 22:50Speaker 1: who was responding to a tweet. So the original tweet says,
- 22:54Speaker 1: your hair is super shiny. Would you share what products
- 22:56Speaker 1: you use? And she responds and she says, I use
- 23:00Speaker 1: Panteing shampoo and Keristas conditioners green and orange. Apparently that's
- 23:06Speaker 1: the color of the bottle. I also do a coconut
- 23:08Speaker 1: oil mask once a week. So if you want hair
- 23:10Speaker 1: like Noznan Contractor, there's the secret sauce hashtag not sponsored
- 23:15Speaker 1: huh indeed.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah, And she tasts like us.
- 23:20Speaker 1: At Panting and at Karstas are.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Yeah, sure tagged in that tweet.
- 23:24Speaker 1: You're gonna get a big old shipment.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 23:29Speaker 2: She's just like that she writes, drugstore shampoo too.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yikes, time to rate this.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Movie rating system five stars, I give it.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I gave it two only because Julie Sherman Wolf was
- 23:45Speaker 2: somewhat attached to it.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It's a two for me too.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Yeah. It was so bad. I mean, it wasn't terrible bad.
- 23:53Speaker 2: It was just un memorable.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Yes, just exactly like my first impression. Not offensively that
- 23:59Speaker 1: just entirely forgettable.
