Transcript
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to another great episode of Crushing Strongholds.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: This is a podcast where we talk about how we turn pain into power, trauma into triumph, and a place where we get to expose the lies of the enemy.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: And how do we do that?
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: We do that by equipping believers in the word and the faith and the spirit of Jesus Christ.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: We want to bring in everything that we can to expose lives of the enemy and crush the lives of the enemy.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And we also do that through testimonies.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Your testimony matters.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: It actually helps dismantle strongholds when you share your testimony.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: It helps someone else to get free from struggles that they are facing and going through.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: And that's what we're going to talk about today.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: We're actually going to talk about an interesting topic of discussion that I have already talked about in a previous podcast, actually the one just before this.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: So have you ever gone all the way through all of the motions, all the way to completion of something, and it just flop in the end, and it turns out to be a disaster and it becomes frustrating and irritating?
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Well, this really happened, okay?
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: This happened to me.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: So last episode I did um was literally um called When the Enemy Wants to Take You Out.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And guess what?
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: He did, he took out the whole entire episode.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: So let me just back up a little bit, explain what happened, and then we can move on because things have actually changed since then to now, and we're gonna just mix it up a little bit, but we're still gonna bring the same lesson to the table because the enemy is not gonna win.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Not today, not on my watch, okay.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So last week I did the whole lesson on um when the enemy wants to take you out, talking about myself personally, okay.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: I don't always discuss personal things about me, but um that particular week I had a whole week full schedule of stuff that I needed to get done.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: And the enemy literally wanted to take me out, and not just physically, but mentally, completely.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: He literally just wanted to see me get down to a low point in my life.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: And he knows he can do it because he's done it before, but not this time.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Not this time.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: So, what happened was is I was doing laundry, getting my daily chores going.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Um, I have a full plate, a busy, busy schedule.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: As a podcaster, I have four podcasts that are up and running.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Um, I take care of my grandma full-time who has full dementia.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I have my um my daughter who's 16, and this is her first year of high school, so y'all can imagine how that's going.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Um, it's actually going pretty good.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: She's doing really good this year.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: I got my grandkids um all in different grade levels this year, and um my oldest grandson's in middle school.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: My two, the twins are in um elementary school.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: So we have kids in three different schools this year, as well as just we have a busy household.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: We have 14, or 14, excuse me, we have nine of us living in this house, and um don't know where 14 came from.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Oops, oh well, it's okay.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: So we have nine people living in this house, and it can get really chaotic.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: And we have three dogs, okay?
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Three dogs on top of it.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Two are mine, one are my daughters, and that can be very uh in in its moments, you know, there's a lot of hollering at the dogs, let me just say that.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And a lot of dog hair and you know, just you know, stuff that gets you know chewed up in the backyard, just whatever, just stuff, you know.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: It's life.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Life happens.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: But here's the thing when you set out and you get up and you you set out to have a good day, and you already have in your mind what that day holds for you, and something happens.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Let me just say this.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: No bueno, not good.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: So before I go into my full story, let me just do this real quick.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Let me introduce myself because I'm getting ahead of myself.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I am Mickey, I'm the host of this podcast, um, the you know, crushing strongholds podcast, and I'm a Christian life coach.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm a mentor, and um I help people to overcome some of the obstacles, like what I'm gonna share with you today.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: So, back to the story, shall we?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Almost forgot my whole intro there, intro there because I was so discouraged about what the devil was trying to do, but we're gonna tackle that today.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: So, the title of this message today is The Enemy Can Literally Just Kick Rocks.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: So, the enemy can kick rocks.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: That is my title because um he already tried to take me out.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: He already took my podcast, completely wiped it out.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: So, as I was saying, I hurt my back doing laundry.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: That put me out, put me in a really bad position for over a week.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Normally, when my back goes out like that, if I tweak it or twinge it, it's it's usually the day or a couple of days, and I'm still able to move around.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: I was flat on my back for two days in a lot of pain on a heating pad, ice packs, ibuprofen, tylenol, thought I was gonna have to go to the ER.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: The whole shabam, my back was out.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Um, was wondering how you know how I was gonna take care of everything that I needed to take care of.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Of course, my family steps up to the plate and jumps in and helps me, but the thing is, is I don't I did not like it.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: I didn't like it at all.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: So, so let me let me just say this, okay?
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Um, I am a person that does not like to sit idle for too long because it, you know, it gets it really creates a little bit of anxiety within me, okay?
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And and God's working on me with that, learning how to sometimes slow things down.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: But sometimes, as you'll learn today, there's kind of a cross mix between the enemy taking you out and God slowing you down.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: There's there's two things happening here.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: So I want to dive in today.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: I want to dive into this lesson because um when you start walking out your purpose for what you have planned for yourself for the week, I'm gonna tell you the enemy is going to try and take you out, okay?
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: We want to expose the lives of the enemy because the enemy wants to break our spiritual bondage.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: And we want to walk in freedom because you know why?
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Christ paid for it.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Christ paid for our liberty, for our freedom, for our sin.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: He took it on.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: So we don't get to allow the enemy to have any pleasure in knowing that he has won.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, he doesn't win in the end, by the way.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: He has lost.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: He's nothing but a big fat loser, okay?
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: So when you start to walk out your purpose, walk in your purpose, and you start stepping into your assignment, um, we become a threat to the enemy.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: The enemy does not sit back and clap and whoopla and celebrate and woo-hoo, hooray, for all of our achievements in life.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: No, guess what he does?
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: He does the opposite of that.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: He starts to plot out and plan his strikes and his attacks.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: And sometimes he goes straight for your body, like your physical, physical body.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: He attacked my back, which literally put me out for two full days, um, kept me really on the on the low down for almost well, week and a half, almost two full weeks, okay.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: It was horrible being in this position where my back is out and I'm in this horrible pain, okay.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Um, couldn't stand, couldn't bend over.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I would forget that I couldn't do some of these things, and I would try to attempt them anyway, and my back let me know right away where it stood.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Um, if I didn't want to fall on the floor, I needed to be listening to the elements of my body because I was going down if I didn't pay attention.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Basically, I felt like I was under attack.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, but here's the thing.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Okay, when we sometimes we have to just stop and we have to just rest and we have to quit for the day.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: The the things that we need to get done or things that we have to accomplish right now, sometimes those things can actually wait.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: Sometimes they have to wait, okay?
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: So sometimes the enemy will take you out if he knows there's something powerful coming.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: So honestly, what he did, the enemy didn't realize how stupid he was because he empowered me to do a lesson on how horrible the enemy is and how the enemy can now kick rocks because I'm not gonna put up with him.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm on to him.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: He is no longer going to hold me hostage in bondage and keep me in a place where I cannot keep pushing forward because he wants me to quit.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: He wants me to give up and stop and and and just throw in the towel.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, sometimes you get to a point where you just feel like you're done.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And sometimes you should be done.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: Sometimes you've finished the task, but sometimes your task is just getting started, your assignment is just taking off, and if there's a lot of power in it, the enemy will try to stop you.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: He's going to try and attack you.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, he's going to try and take you out before you step into it.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: So that is what I want to talk about today.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: I really want to talk about this today.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So when the enemy tries to take you out, you got to press through.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: Not in your strength, but in God's.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, when I was out on my back, I had to rely on God.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: I had to rely on him.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Lord, how am I going to get these things done?
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: I have so many people right now, so many people counting on me.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: What am I going to do, Lord?
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: These people are going to be let down.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: I'm going to be a disappointment.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: I'm tired of being a disappointment.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Like the enemy is telling me, oh, you're always a disappointment.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: What else is new?
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: These are things the enemy whispers in your ear all the time.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: It's so discouraging and it's so frustrating.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: But sometimes God just wants us to lean on him.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we just have to lay our head over on the shoulder of God and say, God, I don't got this.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: I don't have this.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: I I need you.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: I need your strength.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: And that's what he wants to hear from us.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: The enemy doesn't hit random areas.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: You know that?
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: He hits the areas connected to destiny.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: If he can stop movement, he can stop your momentum.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Think about that.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Let that sink in a minute.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: If he can stop your movement, he can stop your momentum.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: For those two days that I was down, I was discouraged.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: But I knew where I needed to go to get my strength.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: So sometimes, you know, the enemy thinks to himself that if he can stop the momentum, he can stunt our growth.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: He can keep us from growing.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: Growing and going to the next level where God wants to take us.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: See, God has a purpose and plan for our life.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: The enemy is trying to destroy that plan.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: And he's not going to quit until it's done.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: So if he can stunt your growth or he can suffocate your purpose, you know, sometimes that's why ta attacks look like sickness, sometimes like pain, even um sometimes like discouragement, and sometimes like um chaos in your home, your body, your relationships, but the aim is the same.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: He wants to stop you before you rise up.
- 12:22unknown: Okay.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: When my back went out, it wasn't just physical, it was strategic.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: A strategic strategic plot against what God was doing and is doing and will continue to do in my life.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: And you know, somebody honestly needs to hear this today.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Somebody listening really needs to hear this.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Your attacks are not random either.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: It's revealing.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: It reveals that you're getting close to a breakthrough.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: If you are constantly getting attacks from the enemy, is because your breakthrough is coming.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: It's right around the corner.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: You're almost there.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: It's so close.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: The closer you get to it, the more attacks are gonna come.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: So pain is not a signal.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: It's not, I mean, pain is a signal.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, not a stop sign.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I said that one.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Pain is a signal, but it's not your stop sign.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: It's not a stop sign.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Pain makes us think.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: It makes us think about things.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: When my back went out, man, I thought about everything that I wasn't gonna get done that day.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: I literally was like, oh boy, now what am I gonna do?
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Like, oh man, I gotta get my grandma up, I gotta make her food, I've gotta um change diapers, I gotta change bedding, I gotta finish this laundry, I've gotta, I've gotta, I've gotta, I've gotta, I've gotta, right?
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: It really makes you start to think about some things.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: It also kind of makes you think, or it should make you think, about how important and valuable you are.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Made me realize all the stuff I do do, where I don't think I do very much very often.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: But when my back went out, God showed me all this stuff that I wasn't able to do.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: But God doesn't want me to continue.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: But what if pain is actually the place where God builds your endurance?
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: See, that's what he did.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: He put me in a place to recognize how important I was as a person.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: He shifted something in me.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: He made me lean on him for strength.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: And while he was strengthening me within my body, he was shifting my mindset, letting me know just how important I am.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Because sometimes when we're going through all of our routines and our emotions, and we get up and we go to work and we pay the bills and we do this and we do that, and we cook dinner and just all of our things that we go through, sometimes we we feel insignificant.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: We don't feel like we're that important, like we're not really doing anything.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: We're just going through the motions, having a day, right?
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, honestly, do you guys ever feel that way?
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Do you ever think like that?
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Because I I do, I do.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie, I I really do think like that.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Well, the enemy wants me to tap out.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: You know, he wants to pin me on the mat and he wants me to tap out, okay?
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: God wants me to press in.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: There is a difference.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: So the pause is not punishment, it's protection.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: When you're slowed down, it doesn't mean you're being stopped.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Sometimes God allows a pause to protect you from rushing, going too far too fast, from um protects you.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: He also helps to reposition you, um, or to remind you to rely on him.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: That's where I needed his strength.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: I needed, I prayed to him and was like, Lord, I need your strength.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: I can't do this.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: What do you want me to do?
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: I had to ask my family to help me.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: My my 16-year-old says, you don't want my help because you always want to do everything on your own.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: You don't let nobody ever help you.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And I, it's not that I don't want people to help me.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: I just feel like it's my responsibility to do things that I'm supposed to be doing.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Like people already have enough on their plate.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: So I try not to put more on their plate, even though when they're offering to help me, um, sometimes I refuse their help because one, I'm stubborn.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: And for two, sometimes um I think that I don't want to put more on them than what they already have on them.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: And I know that they probably don't go, really?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I never thought about it quite like that.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: But that's really how I think.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: And sometimes when God's repositioning us and he's reminding us that we have to rely on him because we are taking on too much for ourselves, that's when the pause button is hit.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: That's when we get that signal.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: That's where we get that signal, okay?
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: When your body forces you to slow down, it might be because God is whispering, let me carry what you cannot.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: God wants to carry our burdens.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Scripture said he wants to carry our burdens, okay?
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: The enemy would have already taken you out if he could.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: If the enemy wanted to take you out and God was all in cahoots for it, he would have already taken you out.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: But here's the thing God hasn't allowed that to happen and isn't going to allow that to happen because God already has a purpose for you, and the enemy doesn't get to decide what that purpose is.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Let that sink in for three seconds, okay?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Right here, right now, if the enemy wanted to take you out, he could.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: If the enemy could destroy you, he would have done it years ago.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: I don't think he would have waited.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I don't think he would have waited for it, okay?
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, the only reason why you're still standing, even in the pain that you're having, whether it's physical pain, mental pain, spiritual pain, um, is because God still has work for you.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: See, God designed us with God's characteristics.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Part of that is Him placing an assignment on our life.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: We all have a specific assignment.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: I've talked about this in past in my past podcasts.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: If you haven't watched some of them, go back and watch them because they're good.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: There's some good information in there, but go look up the characteristics of God.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: It it describes what God does and what he like, what he's like, and what purpose he has for your life.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: He gives you an assignment.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: If that assignment isn't completed yet, do you think he's gonna let the enemy stop you?
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: He's not, but he may let the enemy slow you down.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: For a couple of reasons.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: One, so you can lean on him, two, so he can reposition you, and three, so you can press through the pain because that is where the warfare is.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, some of you think pressing through pain is being strong.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: I think when I'm going through the pain and I'm handling it, it makes me really strong.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: Even though I feel really weak.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking, if I can handle this, I can handle anything.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: That's how strong I am.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: You know, we think we're strong.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: But pressing through is warfare.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: We're actually getting through the warfare.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Every time you show up, every time you pray, when you don't feel like it, every time you obey God while you're hurting, you are swinging back at the enemy.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: And man, the enemy doesn't like it.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: And like I said in the beginning, he can kick rocks, okay?
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Because you are declaring, you are declaring that Satan, you don't get to win here.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: You don't get to do this, okay?
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: You don't fight the pain alone.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: God never intended for you to battle spiritual strongholds, emotional pain, mental exhaustion all by yourself.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: You were not meant to carry it alone.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: And sometimes when you're walking around, maybe all high and mighty, because you're doing this and you're doing that, blah la.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: And sometimes that's I'm sure that's how I am, because I'm like trying to get everything done.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: And um God will put us in our place, God'll let the enemy take us out, God will let us go through and suffer in some pain to get our attention.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Do you ever think about that?
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: If you haven't, you should think about it now.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Okay, so let's think about this.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: What is the turning point of all of it?
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: So a couple weeks ago, or yeah, it was a week and a half ago, when I did my other episode, my back was out in horrible pain.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: I I spoke on it.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: I literally spoke on the pain.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: I did a whole entire podcast in pain, horrible pain.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: My back was hurting, uh, my plans were ruined, my schedule was completely messed up, and the enemy was whispering See, you can't do this.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: You don't have the strength.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: Just quit.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Just go back to bed.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And I thought, no way, Jose, I am not going back to bed because you are not gonna win.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: You can kick rocks.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Did the full episode, got my recording done, did all of my programming, everything that I needed to do, um, got it completely launched.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: I didn't see any glitches, there was no hiccups, none of that was happening.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: And lo and behold, a friend messages me and says, Hey, I'm watching your podcast, and you're frozen like halfway through.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: And it it's like frozen for so long that I can't even understand what you're saying.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: It's all muffled and mangled and it's a mess.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Like he's like, I don't know if you're aware of this, but it's a mess.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, What do you mean?
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: I checked it and it was fine.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: And I was like, man, it it was playing just fine, you know, because I always check it before I launch it out.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: If it freezes up a little bit, I might let that slide.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Or, you know, if it gives me a little pause, okay, but not completely freezes me out, okay.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: This was the enemy.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: He was still determined to take me out because he didn't want me to share the message of my back going out and me standing up to the enemy because wasn't gonna let him take me out, okay?
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: Literally.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: Wasn't gonna let him take me out.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: He already took enough of my time.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: But the Holy Spirit, you know, the Holy Spirit, even when I went from my back being out to now the frustration of the whole podcast not working, so now I'm like not only still healing on the back end of the log because my back is so healing still, um, I'm also frustrated with the enemy.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: And God says, speak through the pain.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: Just speak through it.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Minister through it.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Minister through the achiness.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Show them you can press in even if you're hurting, even if you're frustrated, even if you're discouraged, even if you want to punch the enemy, right?
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Smack in the face.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Speak, speak through it, share it.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Tell other people that they're not alone in the struggles they're going through.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, God, you know, I'm gonna read, I'm gonna redo this podcast.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna redo it.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: I wasn't going to.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: I literally, literally went in and deleted it like as quickly as I could, because I was like, oh gosh, I don't want anybody to see that.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: And went in and took it completely down.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: And he's like, wow, it's gone.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: Like, what happened?
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: I said, I took it down, I removed it, and he goes, Well, it's gone.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, great, thanks.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: You know, hey, thank you so much for telling me because I didn't know.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: But it made me frustrated.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: And I know the enemy was like, Well, if I couldn't take you out through pain, I can take you out through aggravation, I can I can destroy you through all of the frustration.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: And I was like, No, you cannot.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: You're not gonna take me out.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: You can get lost.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: So I want to encourage you today.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: I want to encourage you.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Hell doesn't get to silence you.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: The hell with that is what I say.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: The enemy doesn't get to do that.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Even though it's not easy sometimes to step into that warfare and to take on that battle and to press through it and to speak through it, first I had to press through the pain, then I had to speak through the pain.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: And then on top of that, I had to speak through the aggravation and the frustration that followed with it.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: So the enemy was like, the more he was trying to take me out, and the more I wasn't being taken out, the more he was putting on me, and the more the warfare came.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: And it was so frustrating, so frustrating.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: And then I just went to God and I just laid my head on his shoulder and I said, Lord, I need your strength.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: I need your strength.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: I can't do this on my own.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: I can't do it by myself.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: None of us can.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: None of us can.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: So why are we trying so hard?
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Yes, you may be hurting.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: Yes, you may be discouraged.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, you may feel under attack.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, folks, okay, I felt like all of that was happening.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: I feel like the enemy literally was trying to take me out at this point.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: But hear me out on this.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: This is not your breaking point.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: It wasn't my breaking point.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm speaking to you today.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm speaking right now.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm sharing this message right now.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: Because I'm not gonna let the enemy win.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: He doesn't get to have a say.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: This is actually your building point.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: This is where God shows up the strongest.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: This is where strongholds crumble.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: This is where faith grows.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: You're not pressing alone.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: God is pressing with you.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: And if I can press through pain today, you can press through what you're facing as well.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: Whatever that may look like.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: Is it anxiety?
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: Is it frustration?
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Is it pain?
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Are you going through something that's really hard to understand or handle?
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: You're not alone.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: You're not alone.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: You're family.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, you you're part of the family.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: There are so many things you can do.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: And I'm really hoping that this message encourages you and that you'll feel blessed with it.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: And I also want to encourage you that if you know somebody that might be going through something that you know that is hurting or discouraging or that is under attack from the enemy.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: And you can see that they're being pressed, share this episode with them.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Share it with somebody, somebody who's who who's in the fight of their life right now.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: Someone who needs strength, someone who needs hope, someone who needs to know.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: The enemy is trying to take them out because God is trying to take them up.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: God has you.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: God's strength will prevail.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Completely prevail over what the enemy is trying to do in your life.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Like I said, if the enemy wanted to take you out, and if the enemy could take you out, you would not be here.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: You would not be here.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: God has you here for a reason.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: You have an assignment to do.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: What is that assignment?
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: What is it?
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: How do you get to finish that assignment if you're stuck in those that in those areas of discouragement and pain and hurting?
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: I I want to speak to those of you who are battling silently.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: You don't have to battle it anymore alone.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: If you're carrying emotional pain, spiritual warfare, mental heaviness, discouragement, trauma.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: If you have caregiver stress, like I'm a caregiver, and it can get very stressful, or cycles that you just cannot break.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: You have a habit that you cannot get over.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: You can't get past it, you can't get through it.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: Every single time it trips you up.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Listen to me.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: You don't have to fight that battle alone.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: Help is holy, by the way.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: Healing is possible.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: Counseling is not weakness, it's wisdom.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: It says that in Proverbs.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: As a Christian life coach, myself, from Crushing Strongholds, I walk people through emotional, mental, spiritual strongholds every single week.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: Not only in sharing these episodes and these podcasts, um, as well as you know, the other three podcasts that we're doing.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: We have a lot going on where we are sharing the word of God and we're getting that out there.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: We're getting true the truth out there, we're building that people's faith.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: And with this episode and this podcast, we are crushing some serious strongholds, things that are holding people back.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm telling you, there's so many people that are not even scratching the surface of the purpose that God has for you and your life.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: If you're missing that, if you are tired, if you are overwhelmed, if you are hurting or under attack, it's time for you to get some support.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: Get some counseling, get some coaching.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Go to CrushingStrongholds.com, fill out the information, subscribe, share with other people that are also going through what you're going through, and book a counseling call.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: There's a clarity call.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: It's free.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: Doesn't cost you anything to book a clarity call.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Even to get prayer.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: Book a prayer time.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Have someone pray with you so that you know clearly what to do, what you need.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Let's break these strongholds together.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: Let's rebuild your strength.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Let's get you free.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: You're worth the investment.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Your healing is overdue.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: What are you waiting for?
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna wait for?
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: You want to stay miserable?
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: Because I know, like when I was fighting the the enemy and my back was out, I was miserable.
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: I I literally had to go to God and I had to get help.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: I had to ask my entire family for help.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: You know, it's not something I like to do every day.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: I'm usually helping my family, they're not usually having to help me.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: So let's let's break through these strongholds together.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: Let's rebuild your strength.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: Let's get you free.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: Let's get you free.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: So I love you guys.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: I'm praying for you.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: And I'm hoping that this episode is strengthening for you.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: I I pray that God just pushes his power through this episode so you can see that there is hope on the other side.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: And even if your back goes out, even if you're frustrated, even if your whole plan and your whole schedule gets flipped upside down, you can push through it.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: If you have something holding you back, if you have a stronghold you really need to get over, you need to get help with, please reach out to me.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: I want to help you.
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: I design every one of my coaching programs around each individual person.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: I don't have a cookie-cutter format.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: I don't have just a bunch of programs, you know, made out that I can just hand it over.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: I literally meet with you one-on-one and I design a program specifically for you and what you want to struck what you what strongholds you want to crush and for what you want to accomplish.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: And then we get you there.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: We can't get you there if you're not going to take the first step.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: So take the first step.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Invest in yourself.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: You are so worth it.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: You're absolutely so worth it.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, I'm so glad that we got to come together today and talk about the enemy because, like I said in the beginning, the enemy can kick rocks.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: He can totally kick rocks.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I just want to punch the enemy in the face sometimes.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: And um, I'm just thankful that I get to lean on God and He gets to be my strength because sometimes we forget to do that.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: We lean on our own understanding, and we're not supposed to do that.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: Scripture says, do not lean on your own understanding.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Lean on God.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Also says to seek out counseling, seek out help, get it where you need it.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: So I hope that you all have enjoyed this episode.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm glad I was able to come back on here and share it again.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, I'm praying that that God is just going to take this message and it's just gonna soar because I know there's some people out there that really need to hear that they're not struggling alone.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: They're not in this by themselves.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: So I want to thank you all for being here.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: It's been a wonderful pleasure of mine, as always.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: And um another great episode of Crushing Strongholds.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: I hope you're crushing it.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: I want you to crush it.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: And if you're not crushing it, you need to get a hold of me so we can help you crush it.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: That's what crushing strongholds is all about.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: We want to crush the lives of the enemy.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: We want to get you up and filling out whatever your assignment is that God has laid on your life, whatever that purpose is.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: We want to get the ball rolling.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: So let's do this.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: Let's do it together, okay?
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: So, y'all take care.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Y'all have a great day.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Um, I love you and God bless you all.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: Goodbye for now.
