- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's mugshot Monday. I'm
- 0:18Speaker 1: here with Keisha.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Are you ready, guys, I'm so ready. I like this show.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Actually, okay, we're getting into it now, we're getting into it.
- 0:28Speaker 1: The first episode just showed so many physical fights that
- 0:32Speaker 1: we were like, we can't do this, but yeah.
- 0:35Speaker 2: It was, it was. It was shocking to us.
- 0:38Speaker 1: But now they didn't show as many this week, and
- 0:41Speaker 1: I think maybe at the beginning they were just showing
- 0:43Speaker 1: so many like quick clips of things. Yes that now
- 0:46Speaker 1: we're getting into the stories of people, which I like.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I like. I like more story than fish. It's
- 0:53Speaker 2: not that I don't like the fights. It's that I
- 0:56Speaker 2: know these people are locked up. It's still like half
- 1:00Speaker 2: to be around the person they just had a fight with,
- 1:02Speaker 2: and yeah that's a lot.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah you getting your car and drive away?
- 1:06Speaker 2: Yeah no, no, no, or even go upstairs to your
- 1:10Speaker 2: own room, like on Joscelyn's Cabaret when the girls get
- 1:13Speaker 2: us the fights. They've got a mansion. They could go
- 1:16Speaker 2: anywhere else and like cool off or alast, go jump
- 1:19Speaker 2: in the pool or whatever. But these people go back
- 1:22Speaker 2: to this small cell.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and the girls are in a cell with seven.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I cannot do that. I don't I don't know. I
- 1:30Speaker 2: don't understand why it's like that. For the girls.
- 1:33Speaker 3: It's awful, that's all really is.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I wouldn't be able to sleep. What if you had
- 1:37Speaker 2: to do? You know, you have to poop in front
- 1:40Speaker 2: of eight other people because it's eight of them in
- 1:42Speaker 2: a room.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Do you think that if you have to poop, you're
- 1:44Speaker 1: like that, you like make a pact with everybody, Like
- 1:47Speaker 1: I have to poop, but everybody's like, Okay, I'll leave.
- 1:51Speaker 2: But then there's gonna be that one person I ain't leaving.
- 1:56Speaker 1: True, true, I think I think you gotta make a
- 2:00Speaker 1: packed with everybody, like you guys, I have to poop
- 2:03Speaker 1: and then and you.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Know there's no like hidden background where you can go
- 2:06Speaker 2: peep it pooping. Yeah, yeah, and the smell and they
- 2:10Speaker 2: don't even have like the spray.
- 2:13Speaker 3: You definitely don't have a match.
- 2:14Speaker 2: You got nothing. And I'm just thinking about myself when
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm in there. It is something I don't want to
- 2:25Speaker 2: hear about that. So real spray is needed, like they
- 2:29Speaker 2: unless they've got like a kick ass ventilator system, I
- 2:32Speaker 2: doubt that they do. No, that's just almost inhumane. But
- 2:37Speaker 2: then again.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It's again we need to keep remembering that this is
- 2:41Speaker 1: not a Marriott that we're talking about. This is prison
- 2:44Speaker 1: and you don't want to go there.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the Motel six.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't even know. I would say, if you're local here,
- 2:53Speaker 1: you would know. It's the moon in where they you know,
- 2:56Speaker 1: sometimes find dead bodies.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It's it's okay. Yeah. Yeah, we have one of those
- 3:02Speaker 2: in Dickerson off of five seventeen and it is a
- 3:06Speaker 2: danger zone. So yeah, that's what prison would be like
- 3:09Speaker 2: if for you know, staying somewhere somewhere away from home.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Yes, because I would take a day's in. I'll take
- 3:17Speaker 3: a days in.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yeah, days in. Yeah, if I have to.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd prefer a Hampton Inn.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Oh, most definitely.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I do love a Hampton or a holiday and Express
- 3:27Speaker 3: is pretty.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Nice holiday and Expresses are got it going on. Yeah, David,
- 3:34Speaker 2: David so funny.
- 3:35Speaker 1: He was telling me he was at a work conference
- 3:37Speaker 1: in Louisville, Kentucky last week, and he's telling me he goes,
- 3:42Speaker 1: you know, and because he's had this pancreatitis journey, he's
- 3:46Speaker 1: trying to really change the way he eats, so he
- 3:49Speaker 1: goes of course they had this, that and the other,
- 3:50Speaker 1: and I could have made myself like an egg sausage biscuit,
- 3:53Speaker 1: but I didn't. I got the yogurt with the granola.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And he's telling me all this. Now, I do love
- 3:57Speaker 1: yogurt and granola, but there's a.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's not over a biscuit. I want misk it.
- 4:03Speaker 3: What if they have like crispy bacon, I wouldn't be
- 4:05Speaker 3: able to it.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, No, that yogurt would be like a morning snack.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Like he's close to launch. I'm a little hungry.
- 4:13Speaker 1: So he's telling me about it, and he like what
- 4:14Speaker 1: he got and stuff. He goes and you know, they
- 4:16Speaker 1: have the little yogurts and the little containers and they
- 4:19Speaker 1: had the granola separate. He goes and they didn't have
- 4:21Speaker 1: any bowls for the yogurt, and we haven't when I
- 4:23Speaker 1: tell you, this conversation was so boring and went on
- 4:25Speaker 1: for ten minutes. And I go, I don't understand why
- 4:29Speaker 1: you need a bowl like it. It's in a self
- 4:31Speaker 1: it's self contained the hole. Yeah, he goes, but then
- 4:35Speaker 1: you can't put the granola in and get the right ratio.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Well, I give I, okay, I do get what you're saying, yeah,
- 4:43Speaker 2: but I totally get what he's saying as well, it's
- 4:45Speaker 2: not enough room. And then when you got to stare
- 4:47Speaker 2: it around like your granola's falling off and off. Yes,
- 4:50Speaker 2: so yeah, I get it. I get it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I was like, he just stuck with the biscuit, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to question. He's like, we have to start
- 4:56Speaker 1: eating a Mediterranean diet. I was like, I know.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I mean, listen, a Mediterranean A Mediterranean diet is not bad,
- 5:04Speaker 2: but I don't think I would want it all the time. No,
- 5:08Speaker 2: And I'm gonna like change every single thing in my
- 5:10Speaker 2: house like it's it's it's difficult. But I tell you,
- 5:14Speaker 2: anytime we stay at a hotel, one day is reserved
- 5:17Speaker 2: for me to spend the whole day in the hotel,
- 5:20Speaker 2: in the bed doing nothing.
- 5:22Speaker 3: If it's a nice hotel.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yeah, like James knows, I'm like, there's one day, like,
- 5:27Speaker 2: don't bother me here, I'm gonna enjoy it. I'm gonna
- 5:33Speaker 2: this full day. I'm going to enjoy the full pay
- 5:36Speaker 2: of it, you know what I mean? Yes, yeah, you
- 5:37Speaker 2: pay for a hotel and you're gone the majority of
- 5:39Speaker 2: the times like that. True, I're gonna get my money's worth.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I'm standing in this bed all goddamn day.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Yes, you know, we're going to a coust for our anniversary.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And the hotel emailed me yesterday and was like, oh,
- 5:50Speaker 1: we're I'm looking forward to welcoming you. I would like
- 5:53Speaker 1: to know if you're celebrating anything special, and if you
- 5:55Speaker 1: need help with spot appointments or if you need help
- 5:57Speaker 1: with restaurant resermes. It's a lot, not like a big place.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And I was like, yes, as a matter of fact,
- 6:02Speaker 1: we are celebrated, that's all day. But we're gonna get
- 6:04Speaker 1: something for free.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Y'all are going to get something on one else's bed,
- 6:08Speaker 2: Like there's gonna be a heart shape something in bed.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah. And then y'all make it like a
- 6:14Speaker 2: discount to like, I don't know, there're.
- 6:16Speaker 3: May upgrade the room or something.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Maybe they will. Don't expect too too much.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I know I'm always excited about the upgrade.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, expect the lower level, and then when the
- 6:28Speaker 2: big level comes, you appreciate a little bit more. Like
- 6:30Speaker 2: I wasn't even expecting.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I know, I'm excited about that, but I'm the same way.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I'm like, especially if I'm not going to work the
- 6:37Speaker 1: whole time. Like if I'm not going to do yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 1: any recordings or anything, then you're like, now what do
- 6:42Speaker 1: I do? I guess I could watch something that I
- 6:45Speaker 1: that I've been meaning to watch for two years.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I guess, yeah, exactly, it's the perfect time.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yes, I want to watch the Murder on Murders. Inger's
- 6:53Speaker 3: been watching it.
- 6:53Speaker 2: It's on Hulu.
- 6:54Speaker 3: It says it's really good with Patricia Arquette, and.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I don't know. Now, I haven't watched that one yet.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I watched the documentary of aut Yes, I listen to
- 7:04Speaker 2: every podcast, every documentary, watch the trial.
- 7:07Speaker 3: You know me when I go in, When I go
- 7:09Speaker 3: in with a murder, I.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Go go in deep. Yeah, you go way deeper than
- 7:12Speaker 2: I ever go. I know.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But if you have any questions, I'm here for you.
- 7:15Speaker 1: With the Murder's But I think I was like, maybe
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'll watch that on the plane when I'm flying to LA.

- 10:15Speaker 2: Okay, well we're not.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Here to talk about that. Let's talk about this show now.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I've decided to take the notes in the style of
- 10:23Speaker 1: like a ninety day fiance, where I'm going to do
- 10:25Speaker 1: one inmate.
- 10:27Speaker 3: At a time at a time, okay, because.
- 10:29Speaker 1: They jump back and forth, but you get just like
- 10:31Speaker 1: one little scene and then you're back into the other inmate,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and I'm like, I need it to be separated. So
- 10:38Speaker 1: that's the way I'm doing it. So this is sixty days.
- 10:41Speaker 1: In season four, episode two, Shank anxiety. Okay, oh yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I got nervous just hearing that.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Woo.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Yeah, so we're gonna start with the new guy. The
- 10:52Speaker 1: new guy is Johnny. Johnny tells us that, yeah, when
- 10:57Speaker 1: he was younger, he formed a gang, he shot at people.
- 10:59Speaker 1: He's stayed app to people, and he knew what was wrong,
- 11:02Speaker 1: but he just said, fuck it, let's do it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: There's something kind of hot about that.
- 11:06Speaker 1: He was cute and then you see him at the
- 11:08Speaker 1: table with his wife and his kids, and you're like, Okay, look,
- 11:10Speaker 1: he did change his life totally.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Because she I didn't see a tattoo or anything on
- 11:17Speaker 2: her like saying that she used to be about that life.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Yeah. I found him to be very handsome
- 11:22Speaker 2: as well.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I think he's cute.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, And he says he's doing the program because he
- 11:27Speaker 1: knows there's kids out there who were who were lost
- 11:29Speaker 1: and he can show them there's a better life. I'm like,
- 11:32Speaker 1: how are you going to show them there's a better
- 11:33Speaker 1: life when you're also in prison?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Like what do you mean?
- 11:36Speaker 2: I think like when he gets out, he'll be able
- 11:40Speaker 2: to tell the tale of prison life and how you
- 11:42Speaker 2: don't want this. This is what happened to me. Yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 2: he sounds like he probably has aspirations to open up
- 11:49Speaker 2: like a youth center or something. Uh huh, Yeah, that's
- 11:53Speaker 2: what he kind of kind of how he came off. Well,
- 11:55Speaker 2: somebody like that is good.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Who could be like I've been on all sides of that,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So he says he grew up in a tough neighborhood.
- 12:02Speaker 1: We meet his brother in law, Raymond. They met each
- 12:05Speaker 1: other one in the streets when they were young. Looks
- 12:07Speaker 1: like they're collecting trash in their old neighborhood.
- 12:10Speaker 2: No, they're no gloves. They were freaking up trash with
- 12:15Speaker 2: no gloves on Mary Payne.
- 12:17Speaker 3: That's kind of gross.
- 12:18Speaker 2: That's very gross. That's kind of gross. Yeah, I guess
- 12:21Speaker 2: he's getting ready for the prisons day. He's going to
- 12:23Speaker 2: go ahead and like get all those anybody's and anybody's. Yeah.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Community, So we see we see him looking at pictures
- 12:32Speaker 1: from his old days of him like with guns in
- 12:34Speaker 1: his hand.
- 12:35Speaker 3: And all this.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I'm like, wow, I don't get rid of those pictures.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Right, And he said, you know, I was about that life.
- 12:42Speaker 1: And he says you know, I was seventeen when I
- 12:44Speaker 1: had my first son, and I thought I was a
- 12:46Speaker 1: good dad.
- 12:49Speaker 3: You did.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I mean, gangsters do because they provide their kids with
- 12:53Speaker 2: everything that they want, So in their eyes, they are Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 2: probably better than the fall that he had.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Maybe, And he says, but of course my son started
- 13:05Speaker 1: to living the same life that I had done. And
- 13:08Speaker 1: he got involved in a drug deal gone wrong and
- 13:10Speaker 1: it was charged worth murder. So he killed somebody. I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 1: he got involved in a drug deal gone wrong and
- 13:17Speaker 1: he was charged with murder. How about he got involved
- 13:19Speaker 1: in a drug deal gone wrong and killed somebody?
- 13:21Speaker 2: He kills So, I mean, you know, it's your kid.
- 13:23Speaker 2: You know, when it's your kid, you gotta kind of
- 13:25Speaker 2: spruce it up. Their little sugar on it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: You know, we're not gonna say killed, We're gonna say
- 13:32Speaker 1: murder sounds better. Yeah he had done Yeah, and he says,
- 13:36Speaker 1: you know, I was involved in some of the same things,
- 13:39Speaker 1: but I never got caught.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Do you think that Johnny killed somebody?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Uh? Okay, think about what he said. I heard it.
- 13:48Speaker 2: He did not say I'm an ex gang member. He
- 13:52Speaker 2: said I started the gang. So I'm thinking he's probably
- 13:57Speaker 2: killed a person. Or two in his life, he was
- 13:59Speaker 2: ahead of the exactly. He's the tony soprano of the gang.
- 14:04Speaker 2: You got to kill. You have to kill a couple
- 14:06Speaker 2: of people for people to respect you enough to become
- 14:09Speaker 2: part of your gang.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Hello, Johnny, And he goes, you know, I can't you know, basically,
- 14:17Speaker 1: like I can't judge my son because I just never
- 14:19Speaker 1: got caught. And he says, but I'm doing this to
- 14:21Speaker 1: understand what my son is going through. I would really
- 14:25Speaker 1: like to know the story in between, Like, yeah, what's
- 14:29Speaker 1: the story in between of how you decided to turn
- 14:31Speaker 1: your life around and how did you become this like
- 14:33Speaker 1: family guy sitting at the table with your wife Nancy,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you know, with.
- 14:37Speaker 2: The casserole dish right in the middle of the table
- 14:39Speaker 2: for dinner.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yeah, and it looks like he's got a teenage son
- 14:42Speaker 1: now and a daughter, right.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 1: So Johnny goes to get handcuffed and put in and
- 14:50Speaker 1: he said, oh, you know, he's been arrested before and stuff.
- 14:53Speaker 1: So it's kind of a little bit of PTSD because
- 14:56Speaker 1: he tried, he tried so hard not to like stay
- 14:58Speaker 1: locked up, and he you know, he's changed his life,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and it is a little PTSD I guess he also
- 15:04Speaker 1: can't say yeah, I killed some people, because then they
- 15:06Speaker 1: could take because there's no statute of limitations on her.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I look, yeah, I'm talking it through.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I would not have even gone as far as to say, yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 2: I did the same stuff. I just get caught. Well
- 15:20Speaker 2: are you trying to get caught now? Because now people
- 15:23Speaker 2: made cold case files. Someone goes back, he said too much.
- 15:32Speaker 2: So uh.
- 15:33Speaker 1: The colonel says Johnny will be a great asset since
- 15:37Speaker 1: he doesn't have since he sorry, he will be a
- 15:39Speaker 1: great asset because he does have past experience with gangs.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So he goes to intake and he goes, I'm looking around.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm realizing I'm the only Hispanic guy here, and so
- 15:51Speaker 1: to me, that wouldn't to me, it seems like there's
- 15:54Speaker 1: all types in there. So they're going to immediately point
- 15:56Speaker 1: him out because he's Hispanic. I didn't even think about that. Yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: but they are really staring at him.
- 16:03Speaker 2: A big time.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah, And he's talking about some guy. He's like, where
- 16:08Speaker 1: are you from? And he says he's from Arizona And
- 16:10Speaker 1: he says, you know, I could see all the guys
- 16:12Speaker 1: are looking at me because I'm Hispanic. I do not
- 16:14Speaker 1: feel safe, and you hear some people yelling and calling
- 16:17Speaker 1: him Mexican. Yeah, and he goes, you know, I know
- 16:20Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna have to fight, but it is what
- 16:21Speaker 1: it is, Oh the anxiety.
- 16:25Speaker 2: But he doesn't care. Coruct like, literally, you're fighting because
- 16:30Speaker 2: you're a different race from everyone else, even though we're
- 16:33Speaker 2: all in the same fucking prison. This was wild.
- 16:37Speaker 1: And also, he says, so he gets assigned to the
- 16:40Speaker 1: six hundred, which is for the older guys, and he
- 16:43Speaker 1: goes in. He's like it's dead quiet, Like there's I
- 16:46Speaker 1: don't know why it was so quiet. Was everybody in
- 16:48Speaker 1: the yard? Like why was it so quiet because normally
- 16:50Speaker 1: everybody's screaming.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Uh, well, we haven't heard anyone screaming whenever they show
- 16:55Speaker 2: Matt and he's in the same war. Because there's older people,
- 16:59Speaker 2: they look. The older we get, we don't have. The
- 17:02Speaker 2: older we get, the less we could be involved in.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Loud sounds, just unnecessary sounds.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, yeah, all the time.
- 17:10Speaker 1: This was like stop screaming, stop screaming. Anna is just
- 17:15Speaker 1: screaming because she's like singing, and I'm like stop, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: can't you're yelling.
- 17:19Speaker 3: You're yelling at the dog. Or like stop screaming.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So she has a voice of an angel Mary pay Okay,
- 17:24Speaker 2: all right, So he gets uh goes into.
- 17:29Speaker 1: A room and it's a bottom bunk and there's nobody
- 17:31Speaker 1: in there, and he's like, wow, like I'm in here
- 17:33Speaker 1: like by myself, I don't know where everybody is. It's lonely,
- 17:36Speaker 1: got nobody to talk to. And they just keep showing
- 17:38Speaker 1: him from these cameras from the corner.
- 17:39Speaker 3: That it's just like.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And I guess every cell has a camera in it, right,
- 17:45Speaker 1: because they couldn't just put it in the ones with
- 17:48Speaker 1: these or is that that or is that part of
- 17:51Speaker 1: the film crew that's the documentary documentary?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Because I don't feel like in regular prison they have
- 17:57Speaker 2: a camera in each room. They should uh yeah, But
- 18:02Speaker 2: then again, we've seen the we've seen all of them
- 18:05Speaker 2: have a big fight where there's tons of cameras and
- 18:07Speaker 2: the ce CEOs don't come out. They could see you,
- 18:10Speaker 2: damn well, they're not got to watch like each individual
- 18:13Speaker 2: little cell, so that'd be a waste of money.
- 18:15Speaker 1: So they come out, everybody gets to come out into
- 18:21Speaker 1: the main area and everybody's looking at him. They're asking
- 18:24Speaker 1: him where he's from. He says Arizona, and they're like what,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know what? And then what are you in here for?
- 18:28Speaker 1: He says armed robbery, And he says, you know, when
- 18:32Speaker 1: you say armed robbery, that puts a little respect on
- 18:34Speaker 1: your name because now they know you're not in there
- 18:37Speaker 1: for writing by checks or you know whatever. And probably
- 18:41Speaker 1: he's in Probably he's saying that because he can. Like
- 18:44Speaker 1: he's like, okay, I got a story I could tell this. Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 1: it would be you.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Could have went in there and said I'm here for
- 18:52Speaker 2: murder and he would have some stories to tell. Yeah.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So and then he's telling some guys, oh it was crazy.
- 18:58Speaker 1: My gang was the twenty fourth Street, but we got
- 19:01Speaker 1: along with the bloods and the crips and whatever.
- 19:03Speaker 3: We just wore black.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And they're like, oh that's cool. And so, yeah, Johnny's
- 19:07Speaker 2: gonna be just fine. I think he's gonna be okay
- 19:09Speaker 2: as well.
- 19:10Speaker 3: All right, now we meet another new girl. It's Stephanie.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Okay, Now Stephanie, they keep putting under her chiron Siblings Incarcerated.
- 19:19Speaker 1: So I was like, does she own a company called
- 19:22Speaker 1: Siblings incarcerat I could not understand it, but now I
- 19:24Speaker 1: get she has some siblings that have been incarcerated. Sometimes
- 19:28Speaker 1: I'm just not firing on all cylinders.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I mean, most of the time you're pretty on it,
- 19:31Speaker 2: but you most is definitely more on it. When you
- 19:33Speaker 2: read Stephanie's name and the reason for her prison, stay.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't put that together that that was what
- 19:39Speaker 1: that means.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Do you guys ever walk out of the doctor's office
- 19:44Speaker 1: and think, Okay, well I have no information. I left
- 19:47Speaker 1: here feeling exactly the same. They told me. Nothing that
- 19:50Speaker 1: happens to me all the time. I mean they might
- 19:52Speaker 1: tell you, hey, drink more water or eat less fast food. Well, yes,
- 19:56Speaker 1: I know, but I need a real game plan, and
- 19:59Speaker 1: that that is what Superpower is doing. Okay, Superpower will
- 20:03Speaker 1: send a licensed professional to your home, or you can
- 20:06Speaker 1: visit a nearby lab. And it's one simple blood draw
- 20:09Speaker 1: with over one hundred biomarkers, way more than you get
- 20:13Speaker 1: when you do the normal one at the doctor's office.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You guys, I've done this. I went to a local lab,
- 20:18Speaker 1: got the draw, and they came back with so many
- 20:21Speaker 1: results tests I'd never even heard of. The app gives
- 20:25Speaker 1: detailed information on your heart, liver, your thyroid, your hormones,
- 20:29Speaker 1: but tabolism, vitamin minerals, all sorts of things, even like
- 20:33Speaker 1: environmental toxins. You guys, they told me so much about
- 20:36Speaker 1: my cholesterol. I was like, uh, oh, guess I need
- 20:38Speaker 1: to watch out for my cholesterol. So I appreciate that.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Now they will also tell you what supplements you could
- 20:44Speaker 1: take that will help.
- 20:45Speaker 2: So they have.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Recommended some things to me, and I got them because
- 20:49Speaker 1: now I'm concerned about my cholesterol.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Okay, Superpower used to.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Cost four ninety nine, but right now it's just one
- 20:56Speaker 1: ninety nine for the full experience. That's more affordable than
- 20:59Speaker 1: anything else out there. Other testing services charge five hundred
- 21:03Speaker 1: dollars one thousand dollars sometimes more for similar or less testing,
- 21:08Speaker 1: so you should know your numbers with Superpower. Superpower believes
- 21:12Speaker 1: every human has one hundred year potential and they're here
- 21:14Speaker 1: to help you get there. Your blueprint activated with Superpower.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Not only does Superpower reduce their price to just one

- 21:35Speaker 1: sign up. They'll say, hey, where did you hear about superpower?
- 21:38Speaker 1: And make sure you say pink shade. She's twenty five,
- 21:43Speaker 1: she's a pharmacy tech. She's a beautiful black girl, and
- 21:48Speaker 1: she looks like she lives in a very bougie area.
- 21:50Speaker 1: They show the like private residents, only she's walking out
- 21:53Speaker 1: by a pond. She's got her tennis rackets, and she's
- 21:57Speaker 1: a girly girl. She's given us a makeup to tour.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Y'all get ready with me. It's Stephanie. You got to
- 22:02Speaker 1: start with the primer.
- 22:03Speaker 3: You got to do your.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Lipsick And she says she has two siblings who have
- 22:08Speaker 1: been incarcerated. She says, and my sister's never told me
- 22:10Speaker 1: anything about it. You know, she just gets out and
- 22:12Speaker 1: goes right back in, so she never even has time.
- 22:14Speaker 2: To tell me.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Shouldn't say why her siblings have been incarcerated, she says.
- 22:20Speaker 1: She says, I grew up in the suburbs with no crime,
- 22:23Speaker 1: and my brother and sister when they moved out, they
- 22:25Speaker 1: chose to move into these bad areas with poverty, and
- 22:29Speaker 1: I got everything I wanted and.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I was spoiled.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I was like, well, then your siblings don't want to
- 22:33Speaker 1: talk to you because they fucking hate you.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Well, And I was kind of confused. I was thinking, like,
- 22:38Speaker 2: was it a situation where they were, like they're half siblings,
- 22:42Speaker 2: and maybe they lived with the dad or with their
- 22:44Speaker 2: biological mom and ate the poor part of town. I
- 22:47Speaker 2: was like somewhere there was like a piece kind of
- 22:51Speaker 2: missing from her story about the siblings.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I didn't understand, Like my brother and sister grow up
- 22:56Speaker 1: in this like fancy suburbia area and they turn eighteen,
- 22:59Speaker 1: they decide to move to a bad part of town.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Like I didn't get it. And also I don't know
- 23:04Speaker 1: what town she's in. They never say where she's from.
- 23:08Speaker 2: They didn't, Nope.
- 23:11Speaker 1: So she says, you know, I never experienced the street
- 23:14Speaker 1: life or the ghetto or crime or hearing gunshots, you know.
- 23:20Speaker 3: And you know, my brother says that I talk white
- 23:23Speaker 3: because I live in the suburbs.
- 23:25Speaker 2: But you know, I don't know what I'm saying. Like,
- 23:27Speaker 2: so it's like if he grew up in the sub
- 23:30Speaker 2: I think there's like they don't live there all the
- 23:33Speaker 2: time when they were growing up. You know what I'm saying.
- 23:37Speaker 2: She says, Oh, you kind of like a white girl.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You grew up in the suburbs, like he didn't grow
- 23:40Speaker 2: up in the suburbs as well.
- 23:43Speaker 1: But she says she grew up with a brother and
- 23:44Speaker 1: sister and then when they moved out, they chose this
- 23:46Speaker 1: bad area and that was their fault. So we need
- 23:50Speaker 1: more information, Yeah, we do. And she is, I mean,
- 23:54Speaker 1: they chose to live in the bad area. That's not
- 23:56Speaker 1: my problem. And she says she's driving her car and
- 24:00Speaker 1: she says, so this is the area where the white
- 24:03Speaker 1: people live, but most of my family live in the
- 24:05Speaker 1: inner city, like and not in a good part of town.
- 24:08Speaker 1: So again we don't understand. Okay, we don't understand.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, she's she She's said a lot of words,
- 24:17Speaker 2: but not all of them are connecting, right, I don't
- 24:20Speaker 2: get it.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Are these half siblings that had to move with another parent, Like,
- 24:23Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying, And they show getting they chose
- 24:27Speaker 1: that way and why because the mom was terrible. We
- 24:30Speaker 1: see later maybe, and she goes today, I'm going to
- 24:34Speaker 1: meet my mom and an Applebee's, which they tried to
- 24:35Speaker 1: blur out, but we recognized it.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I went to eat Applebee's.
- 24:40Speaker 3: But you can recognize that logo.
- 24:47Speaker 1: If they had it blurred were like, come on, Applebee's
- 24:49Speaker 1: is like, do not put us in this show. Apple,
- 24:53Speaker 1: we do not want to be a part of it.
- 24:56Speaker 1: So she goes, I'm going to have lunch with my
- 24:58Speaker 1: mom today to tell her what I'm doing. And she
- 25:00Speaker 1: she goes, you know, my mom thinks I'm frail and
- 25:02Speaker 1: weak and can't handle things on my own. And so
- 25:05Speaker 1: I wonder if mom moved and the kids moved with
- 25:10Speaker 1: mom and she stayed like with dad and the face dad.
- 25:14Speaker 2: And a stepmom. Maybe, so I just don't think they
- 25:17Speaker 2: were full time together, the siblings all the.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Time, because she said when they got older, they chose
- 25:23Speaker 1: to move out. So maybe when they got to be sixteen,
- 25:25Speaker 1: they could choose which parents to live with.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Maybe maybe maybe why was she.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yeah, so she says, my mom thinks I'm frail and
- 25:33Speaker 1: weak and can't handle things on my own, and so
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm going to show her I'm going to go to prison.
- 25:38Speaker 1: So she goes, Mom, I volunteered to enter a program
- 25:42Speaker 1: where I'm going to put myself in jail, and I'm
- 25:44Speaker 1: doing it to better understand, you know, my brother and sister.
- 25:47Speaker 1: And her mom's like, no, you know you're not. She goes, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I am and she goes, Mom, I'm doing it because
- 25:53Speaker 1: I want to like understand where they've come from. And
- 25:55Speaker 1: the mom is immediately packing up her food. She's like,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm taking these chicken and she says, why would you
- 26:02Speaker 1: do something like that? This is so stupid, and Stephanie
- 26:05Speaker 1: keeps talking. She goes, just shut up, and she packs
- 26:08Speaker 1: up her shit and she leaves. She takes her free
- 26:10Speaker 1: Applebee's food and gets the fuck out of her.
- 26:13Speaker 2: And she says, you pay for the check. Well, you
- 26:16Speaker 2: pay for the check or you know, an I ain't
- 26:20Speaker 2: paying nothing, and I ain't leaving a tip either. Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 2: She gets the fuck up out of there.
- 26:24Speaker 1: She's like, I this is paid for, Okay, I'm getting
- 26:26Speaker 1: lunch and dinner.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Give me a to go box.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I just feel like if she wants to relate to
- 26:31Speaker 2: her siblings better, like I don't know, Counselee session, Like,
- 26:37Speaker 2: I just feel like there's so many other steps before
- 26:39Speaker 2: you have to actually go to prison.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she could.
- 26:43Speaker 2: They could. She could go visit every weekend and let's talk,
- 26:47Speaker 2: tell me the stories. Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 1: So Stephanie goes, well, that went just as I expected,
- 26:54Speaker 1: and she says it's hard to go to jail with
- 26:57Speaker 1: no support. But I only you know, I only have
- 27:00Speaker 1: the support of my boyfriend, Matthew. We've been together four
- 27:03Speaker 1: and a half years. And he looks so much like
- 27:07Speaker 1: Andrew that's also in prison, just like white boy with glasses,
- 27:10Speaker 1: you know.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah, he little, he's I mean, at least Andrew's got
- 27:15Speaker 2: those child very hips in right now, a little bit
- 27:18Speaker 2: of a broad shoulder. But this guy right here, he's like, babe,
- 27:20Speaker 2: you go on to prison. I'm gonna say, right here,
- 27:22Speaker 2: in this apartment, I will take care of the cat. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 2: I will see you when you get home.
- 27:29Speaker 1: She's telling Matthew how to clean the house. She's like,
- 27:32Speaker 1: cleaning the mirror. He goes, I have to clean the
- 27:34Speaker 1: mirror every day. She's like, like every other day, clean
- 27:36Speaker 1: the mirror.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I was like, men, do get the mirror? Cart meaning
- 27:40Speaker 2: of it now?
- 27:42Speaker 1: So they chat about, you know, the food she gets,
- 27:45Speaker 1: like Dominoes, like Deep Dish pizza, Like right before she leaves,
- 27:48Speaker 1: I was like, that's your last meal.
- 27:50Speaker 2: That's it. You know. She keeps claiming this lifestyle that
- 27:54Speaker 2: she lives and we've yet to really see it. She
- 27:57Speaker 2: was eating Domino's pizza on a coffee table, so which,
- 28:01Speaker 2: by the way, nothing wrong with that, but it's not
- 28:03Speaker 2: so booebus. But not when you're yeah that when you're
- 28:05Speaker 2: trying to portray yourself as this bougie bougie I'm so
- 28:08Speaker 2: much better than person, like, yeah, give me something like
- 28:11Speaker 2: have on a Tiffany's bracelet while you could in a
- 28:14Speaker 2: picture something.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Oh no, oh my gosh, so she says. So they're
- 28:20Speaker 1: talking about the food and she's like, yeah, I'm sure
- 28:22Speaker 1: it'll be gross. I've heard it's called slop. It's disgusting.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Sir're talking ahead, she goes, you know, I'm a strong person.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna be able to get through this. No,
- 28:31Speaker 1: he says, so sorry. Her boyfriend Matthew says, she's a
- 28:35Speaker 1: strong person. She can kind of get She's like, listen,
- 28:37Speaker 1: she's whipping my ass about the fucking mirror, So like, right,
- 28:41Speaker 1: she can get through anything, Okay.
- 28:43Speaker 2: And they're talking ahead.
- 28:43Speaker 1: She goes, I'm doing this to get closer to my
- 28:45Speaker 1: siblings so I can tell them that I understand them
- 28:47Speaker 1: and where they're coming from.
- 28:49Speaker 2: It's just her siblings are going to laugh their asses
- 28:52Speaker 2: off when she tells them about this.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Her doing this so to the community center, volunteer where
- 28:58Speaker 1: they live and see if you can.
- 28:59Speaker 2: It's to get some check, yes, yes, not doing something
- 29:04Speaker 2: where you actually get a paycheck for doing it.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Bingo.
- 29:10Speaker 1: So she goes to meet with the officers to get handcuffed,
- 29:14Speaker 1: and she says, you know, I'm liberal and I'm preppy,
- 29:17Speaker 1: and I have no idea how I'm gonna blend in.
- 29:20Speaker 2: What does liberal have to do with it?
- 29:21Speaker 1: You think all the prisoners are like super like mega conservative?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Like were you talking about I did it, like I said.
- 29:27Speaker 2: She says, lots of words, but they never really quite
- 29:30Speaker 2: connect because I have no idea why she said that.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Yeah, she says, the hardest part will be being around
- 29:38Speaker 1: all the females. I don't have a lot of female friends.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I don't like drama. I don't want to be involved
- 29:43Speaker 1: in drama. Interesting, right, I think.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Along with a lot of other things that she says
- 29:49Speaker 2: that maybe Stephanie's not that fucking likable in the real world.
- 29:53Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking too. Her mom definitely doesn't like her.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh no, why would she leave? Is like we you
- 30:00Speaker 2: wouldn't be a SCHELLAR would have been there for three
- 30:01Speaker 2: hours talking this out and me trying to tell her
- 30:03Speaker 2: out of doing this experiment, not just getting my food
- 30:06Speaker 2: and getting the fuck up out of there. Like her
- 30:08Speaker 2: mom didn't even say goodbye.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Oh no, she said I've got dinner, gotta go. So
- 30:14Speaker 1: in the cop car, the cop is asking her about
- 30:17Speaker 1: her fears and she goes, really, it's like all using
- 30:20Speaker 1: the same toilet, like that's my biggest Yeah, like eh yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 1: So they go to intake and she's like, oh my god,
- 30:28Speaker 1: it's so dirty, it's so depressing. You know, this is
- 30:31Speaker 1: getting real, and she says being cuffed feels like being
- 30:33Speaker 1: a slave and they can just tell you what to do.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I feel like, uh, that's a little bit different than
- 30:40Speaker 2: being a slave.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you're in a situation where you can leave voluntarily.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you've you've most definitely got some rights. Yeah that
- 30:49Speaker 2: was a little bit extreme, but okay, okay.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Now, as she and this other girl are handcuffed together
- 30:55Speaker 1: and they're walking through, we hear one inmate has gone
- 30:57Speaker 1: completely nuts and yelling about the cameras, going if you're
- 31:00Speaker 1: gonna fiel.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Me, you're gonna give me a check?
- 31:02Speaker 1: I don't want to be on motherfucking TV, you pussy
- 31:05Speaker 1: as cracker?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Whoa what should I use that one with James every
- 31:12Speaker 2: now and then he makes me I like this ship
- 31:16Speaker 2: on six. I mean it was a pusser, but yet,
- 31:21Speaker 2: like some of the stuff that they say surprises me.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I'm like, well, I'm always rewinding trying because they bleep
- 31:26Speaker 1: it out and then they put it on the bottom
- 31:28Speaker 1: like peep. Yeah, you're like, oh, okay, now I guessed
- 31:32Speaker 1: at what they said.
- 31:33Speaker 2: I assume that's what they said, because not a lot
- 31:35Speaker 2: of us. That's what she said. Yeah, a lot of
- 31:37Speaker 2: words here with the p SO and the talking.
- 31:41Speaker 1: She goes, yeah, I'm scared, yeah, scared. So they see
- 31:45Speaker 1: them in this tiny van transporting them, and so it's
- 31:48Speaker 1: like four women on once. It looks like there's like
- 31:50Speaker 1: a wall, and then there's four women on the other side.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Because the women on the other side are all yelling
- 31:56Speaker 1: like your hair smells well, you've got boh, and they're
- 31:57Speaker 1: screaming at each other.
- 31:59Speaker 2: But the four on her so are pretty calm. Well
- 32:02Speaker 2: of them was like you smell like ass like your
- 32:04Speaker 2: smell is. That made me gag because there's nothing you
- 32:08Speaker 2: can do. It's not like you can get up and
- 32:10Speaker 2: go to another part of the truck or whatever the
- 32:13Speaker 2: hell they.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Ran like, no, you're change to another person.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Oh gotta go, gotta go.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Home really bad.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And I guess that's why they make them take a
- 32:23Speaker 1: shower right when they get there.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I always wondered why. But some of them look
- 32:28Speaker 2: like they haven't showered in a minute.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Yeah, especially if they've been arrested for something. They're coming
- 32:33Speaker 1: like right off the streets or I mean terrible.
- 32:36Speaker 2: So she goes, she grabs all her stuff.
- 32:38Speaker 1: They give her her mat, you know, her bag of whatever,
- 32:41Speaker 1: and they put her in her cell and you know,
- 32:44Speaker 1: they immediately the girls are all like right on her
- 32:46Speaker 1: and they're like, yeah, what's your name? And then they're
- 32:48Speaker 1: pulling at her hair. The one girl goes, what kind
- 32:50Speaker 1: of hair is this?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Can you imagine what they would think of my hair? Mary?
- 32:56Speaker 2: You would wake up bald. They would have taken all
- 32:59Speaker 2: that They was scalpy. They was scalpy. Yes, like this
- 33:03Speaker 2: hair is worth a lot of money in here, like
- 33:06Speaker 2: just the Yeah, that would be fascinating to them, especially
- 33:09Speaker 2: if they've been there for a long time and they
- 33:11Speaker 2: someone comes in there with a head full of hair extensions. Well,
- 33:14Speaker 2: I was trying to figure out.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I was like, of course, you know, Keisha We've discussed
- 33:18Speaker 1: this a lot. We have you know, wig corn, and
- 33:19Speaker 1: we discuss wigs, and we discussed extensions and all this.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I thought that was her real hair.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I didn't know. No, it's hair extensions, okay, but it's
- 33:27Speaker 1: into her hair.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah. But I feel like because I think I saw
- 33:33Speaker 2: some leve out, Like I don't think she has like
- 33:36Speaker 2: short hair. I think she's got a good amount of
- 33:39Speaker 2: her own hair, yeah, and just added the extra in there,
- 33:43Speaker 2: at least for what she claims. She said, how longer
- 33:45Speaker 2: her real hair is?
- 33:46Speaker 1: Yeah, because on the top you could see there's like
- 33:48Speaker 1: a braid here, and I was like maybe, yeah. So
- 33:51Speaker 1: I was fascinated by that. So her cover story is
- 33:55Speaker 1: she is in there for possession of marijuana, which at
- 34:00Speaker 1: three point five so I guess that's a lot. But
- 34:05Speaker 1: they caught her because she was speeding and she was
- 34:08Speaker 1: on her way to Florida for vacation. She's like and
- 34:10Speaker 1: they're like, ah, you didn't even get to see the ocean.
- 34:14Speaker 1: And she says she's getting She says she's getting nervous
- 34:17Speaker 1: because the women are asking so many questions about her,
- 34:21Speaker 1: and she does worry about what might happen when she
- 34:22Speaker 1: goes to sleep, Well, they're gonna take your hair when
- 34:24Speaker 1: you're sleeping, girl.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I mean, you're justice it spent to wake up with
- 34:28Speaker 2: a lot less weight on your head because they're about
- 34:31Speaker 2: to get that hair.
- 34:33Speaker 1: And then we see somebody get up in the middle
- 34:36Speaker 1: of the night who's wearing giant underwear and goes over
- 34:39Speaker 1: to the other girl and is like holding her leg
- 34:42Speaker 1: up and saying her peakwork don't stink, And I was like,
- 34:44Speaker 1: what's going on here?
- 34:46Speaker 2: She said that ethyl don't stink because you know, we
- 34:49Speaker 2: call it ethyl. Now on for your sake, thank you ethyl,
- 34:53Speaker 2: and that ethyl don't stink. And I'm like, well, it
- 34:57Speaker 2: shouldn't stink.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But it's like but she goes and she's like the
- 35:01Speaker 1: one girl's laying on her bed and she puts her
- 35:03Speaker 1: leg up and I'm like, why are we doing this?
- 35:04Speaker 2: What's going on? But I was like, what was the
- 35:07Speaker 2: other girl doing to that girl? While she was standing
- 35:10Speaker 2: up there? We couldn't see.
- 35:11Speaker 3: That's kind of what I was wondering.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I think a little something was happening, but the other
- 35:17Speaker 2: girls were all talking at the same time. They don't care.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Okay, this is.
- 35:23Speaker 2: There's a promisey, you just gotta do what you gotta do. Yeah.
- 35:28Speaker 1: So Stephanie talks to a girl named Lyric. Okay, so
- 35:31Speaker 1: Lyric is like, so, what is your job? And so
- 35:33Speaker 1: they were coming friendly and she goes, oh, it's a
- 35:35Speaker 1: pharmacy tech. And she goes, you know it's a good
- 35:37Speaker 1: job because you could still you could steal drugs. She
- 35:40Speaker 1: was like, but not a lot, by the way, No
- 35:42Speaker 1: you can't. It's extremely regulating, very hard.
- 35:45Speaker 2: To steal the drugs. Yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't just like grab a couple of annas.
- 35:49Speaker 1: That shit has counted now.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 1: So Lyric goes, what are you gonna give me your hair?
- 35:57Speaker 1: And she goes, I've never She goes, I don't. I've
- 35:59Speaker 1: never taken it out.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Like she's like, I don't know how to take it out.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I've never taken it out.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Right, She probably has her stylis do it for. Yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 2: it was interesting.
- 36:08Speaker 3: She's like, I don't know.
- 36:08Speaker 1: And then they're asking her how long her real hair
- 36:10Speaker 1: is and she says down on her shoulders basically.
- 36:13Speaker 2: And she then.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Tells the story because she has a big scar on
- 36:17Speaker 1: her arm and she says she went through a plate
- 36:19Speaker 1: glass window and then she went to stop herself and
- 36:21Speaker 1: had a scar on her arm. And then she tells
- 36:24Speaker 1: another story about she has a scar on her stomach
- 36:26Speaker 1: from a hernia surgery.
- 36:28Speaker 2: And you're talking to it.
- 36:29Speaker 1: She goes, this is great. I, for the first time
- 36:32Speaker 1: ever have friends and I think they really like me.
- 36:35Speaker 2: And here's the thing, I think they really like her too. Yeah.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I mean she's made friends with the big dog, because
- 36:42Speaker 2: Lyric is the big dog, and Lyrics seems to be
- 36:46Speaker 2: quite fascinated by her. Yeah. Now in the middle of
- 36:50Speaker 2: the night, don't be if you wake up and Lyric
- 36:54Speaker 2: is trying to spun you. But hey, you gotta do
- 36:57Speaker 2: what you gotta do.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Okay, now we get Jacqueline. Okay, remember last time we
- 37:05Speaker 1: saw Jaqueline, she had put her arms behind her head
- 37:07Speaker 1: to say she's in distress. It's been one day and
- 37:12Speaker 1: she's telling them I might have a panic attack. I
- 37:14Speaker 1: think I'm going to pass out, and they're like, it's okay,
- 37:17Speaker 1: we're gonna help you. We'll help you get in touch
- 37:18Speaker 1: with your daughter. She's like, I was told I could call,
- 37:20Speaker 1: and I can't call. And so they placed a call
- 37:23Speaker 1: to Justin, her boyfriend, and she's crying, and she's saying,
- 37:28Speaker 1: I'm just so worried about you, you and Jimma, and
- 37:32Speaker 1: he goes, you signed up for this. I know you
- 37:34Speaker 1: can do it. What you're doing is important. Everything is
- 37:37Speaker 1: fine here with Jemma. Everything is all taken care of.
- 37:40Speaker 1: We're fine. We've got this handled while you're there.
- 37:43Speaker 2: He was a little bit too enthusiastic about her, saying
- 37:46Speaker 2: I think in the back of it, and he's like,
- 37:48Speaker 2: I told my side, bitch, we had sixty days together
- 37:52Speaker 2: before you came home, and I'll be down if you're
- 37:56Speaker 2: about to make me have to renig on that, Like, no,
- 38:00Speaker 2: this is my time for me and my other boot
- 38:02Speaker 2: stay in there.
- 38:04Speaker 1: So she says, I feel like quitting, but I'm not
- 38:07Speaker 1: going to. I'm gonna I'm gonna give it another day.
- 38:11Speaker 1: So then she says, I realized I just take it
- 38:13Speaker 1: day by day. I gotta like not get overwhelmed with
- 38:15Speaker 1: the stuff. And then you know, Jimma gets on the
- 38:17Speaker 1: phone and she is able to say hello to her
- 38:19Speaker 1: and stuff. She pulls herself together.
- 38:21Speaker 2: So she's yeah, yeah.
- 38:23Speaker 1: So then we see a bunch of her bunk mates
- 38:25Speaker 1: chatting and arguing, and then we see them all talking
- 38:29Speaker 1: about her stomach and her shirt and her butt because
- 38:31Speaker 1: she's got on like a sports spra right, and when
- 38:35Speaker 1: she leans back, you know she's got abs. And then
- 38:37Speaker 1: she stands up and they're talking about her ass, and
- 38:40Speaker 1: then we get lots of clips of inmates talking about
- 38:43Speaker 1: oh yeah you gay for say whatever, like you're in here,
- 38:45Speaker 1: you get lonely and whatever. Jacqueline says like, I wouldn't care,
- 38:50Speaker 1: like if they're talking about this stuff, and it was
- 38:51Speaker 1: like a basic gym class, but this is sexual and
- 38:55Speaker 1: I don't feel comfortable with it. I feel like they're
- 38:56Speaker 1: preying on me. I'm getting kind of worried. You know,
- 38:59Speaker 1: well a shirt on, but a shirt on would be
- 39:03Speaker 1: the first.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Yeah, let's start there. Yeah hot, it's probably hot in there.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah that's true too.
- 39:10Speaker 1: They're asking her like, let's let's see your boobs, and
- 39:12Speaker 1: she's like no, there's a camera, like no, and so
- 39:16Speaker 1: basically they tell her to go stand under the camera
- 39:19Speaker 1: and black screen of death says. An inmate pulls Jacqueline's
- 39:23Speaker 1: shirt down to reveal her breasts and the girls are like,
- 39:27Speaker 1: oh that.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Shit was hot.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Oh your boobs are so cute, and they're.
- 39:30Speaker 2: All talking about her boobs and oh my god, she's
- 39:34Speaker 2: so uncomfortable, like, Okay, I've just been violated, but I
- 39:37Speaker 2: guess I'll just roll with it. You don't have a choice.
- 39:40Speaker 2: You got to roll with it. Yep. So she says, you.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Know, I'm having a hard time fitting in, and we
- 39:48Speaker 1: see the women talking and she tells them that she's
- 39:52Speaker 1: in for assault on her boyfriend. This one girl, Christina,
- 39:56Speaker 1: is asking a lot of questions and she's really high
- 40:00Speaker 1: eyeing her a lot, and she goes, she goes, I
- 40:03Speaker 1: had a knife, and she goes, did you stab him?
- 40:05Speaker 2: She goes no, and she goes, if you didn't stab him,
- 40:08Speaker 2: then why are you in? Never aggravated assault? Right, and
- 40:12Speaker 2: she goes, oh.
- 40:13Speaker 1: He says I hit him and that you know, I
- 40:15Speaker 1: did pull the knife on him and he has some scratches,
- 40:17Speaker 1: like it's all bullshit.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I don't know why they charged me with that. So
- 40:21Speaker 1: then they're asking why did you move from Rice Street?
- 40:23Speaker 1: We've heard Rice Street a lot a lot.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah, So I'm asked, sure what that is? Like that
- 40:28Speaker 2: must big jail.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Local jail, And then they get moved to big jail,
- 40:32Speaker 1: all right, and when why what was that you know
- 40:37Speaker 1: what went and all this, and she's like, I don't know,
- 40:39Speaker 1: it was like yesterday and Jacqueline says, all the questions
- 40:43Speaker 1: and then then morning to see my boobs is you know,
- 40:45Speaker 1: mentally and physically exhausting, Like I'm overwhelmed, and they keep
- 40:48Speaker 1: asking out these questions.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yeah, because you I mean, you've only got unless you
- 40:54Speaker 2: really have thought about every hole that could be in
- 40:57Speaker 2: your story. Yeah, kind of fucked when they put you
- 40:59Speaker 2: on the spotlight. Yeah, oh shit, because these are current
- 41:04Speaker 2: criminals that she's in there with, right right.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Yeah, So Stephanie and Jacqueline are now together out in
- 41:11Speaker 1: the pod area and they're realizing each other might be fake. Now,
- 41:16Speaker 1: Jacqueline says she realized Stephanie might be fake because she
- 41:20Speaker 1: said she was a pharmacy technician, but she had had
- 41:22Speaker 1: a felony, right, And Jacqueline's like that, I work in
- 41:26Speaker 1: a law firm, and I know you can't be a
- 41:28Speaker 1: pharmacy tech if you've had a felony. And then when
- 41:33Speaker 1: Stephanie asked Jacqueline her last name, she like obviously looked
- 41:36Speaker 1: at her bracelet and said Kennedy.
- 41:39Speaker 2: So yeah, there was a rule that like you couldn't
- 41:43Speaker 2: let the other person know.
- 41:47Speaker 1: I didn't either, but they figured it out with a
- 41:50Speaker 1: one yeah.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:53Speaker 1: So they're realizing each other, you know, we're there in
- 41:55Speaker 1: the program. And Jacqueline says, you know, I did that
- 42:00Speaker 1: on purpose, looking at my bracelet. Yeah, to sort of
- 42:02Speaker 1: let her know. And I, you know, I want to
- 42:05Speaker 1: have somebody to feel safe with. So black screen to Death,
- 42:09Speaker 1: Jacqueline and Stephanie confirm each other's participation in the program,
- 42:13Speaker 1: and so they're like, okay, okay, I was thinking like
- 42:15Speaker 1: I shouldn't ask you, but then I asked you, and
- 42:17Speaker 1: then like, hey, like all right, it's good. We can
- 42:19Speaker 1: rely on each other. Yeah, and yes, Jacqueline says, you know,
- 42:22Speaker 1: Jacqueline needs that, she needs it. Stephanie doesn't need it.
- 42:26Speaker 1: She's fit right on.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I don't think she needs it. She surprisingly it is
- 42:29Speaker 2: fitting in quite well.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Jacqueline goes, this is good, but I am worried that
- 42:34Speaker 1: other people will notice, like we're different.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Well, only you were different. Only you.
- 42:40Speaker 1: So now we see all the women are yelling at
- 42:43Speaker 1: each other. We're just like screamy, screamy, screaming from the
- 42:45Speaker 1: top to the bottom all over. And the two that
- 42:48Speaker 1: are mad at each other are Lyric remember that as
- 42:50Speaker 1: Stephanie's best friend who wants her hair and Raven, and
- 42:54Speaker 1: Raven is upstairs, and Jacqueline says, I've, you know, come
- 42:58Speaker 1: to figure out that some of the upstairs in the
- 43:00Speaker 1: downstairs have a problem with each other. And I don't
- 43:04Speaker 1: know what to do because like all the roommates are
- 43:05Speaker 1: supposed to stick together.
- 43:07Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't know about all that sticking together.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but Jacqueline's in a different room than Stephanie. Sephanie's
- 43:15Speaker 1: in the room with Lyric. So and the black screen
- 43:18Speaker 1: to death, we see Raven from upstairs recently disrespected one
- 43:24Speaker 1: of lyrics friends, so we don't know what that means.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Okay, no, well it's enough to fight, there's the reason,
- 43:31Speaker 2: enough to buy So Lyric who's downstairs, ravens upstairs. They're screamings, screaming, scream.
- 43:35Speaker 1: By blah blah blah blah, and the guard is literally
- 43:38Speaker 1: just like standing there in the middle watching them yelling,
- 43:42Speaker 1: and this huge like it's like now groups are gathering,
- 43:46Speaker 1: yelling in groups, and it's going to be a fight,
- 43:49Speaker 1: and the guard is doing nothing.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Well, so yeah, if I were to guard, I'd be
- 43:56Speaker 2: pretty fucking scared and like, I don't want to get
- 44:00Speaker 2: caught in the middle of this shit. But then again,
- 44:02Speaker 2: why not call for backup?
- 44:04Speaker 3: There's we'd later we see like three guards.
- 44:06Speaker 1: So Lyric is continuing to yell up and so they
- 44:12Speaker 1: they the guard goes up and puts the upstairs people
- 44:14Speaker 1: in their room and they lock them in, and then
- 44:17Speaker 1: after a couple of minutes, the guard just pops the
- 44:19Speaker 1: door open and lots them back.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't get it.
- 44:22Speaker 1: So Jacqueline's on the phone with her boyfriend and she's like, yeah,
- 44:24Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on, Like everybody's yelling and
- 44:26Speaker 1: they're gonna fight. He's like, wait are they fighting? She goes, yep,
- 44:29Speaker 1: here it goes they're gonna fight. And the funniest thing
- 44:32Speaker 1: is Jacquline's like, okay, I gotta go. I guess we're
- 44:34Speaker 1: gonna fight down Here's.
- 44:37Speaker 2: So Jacqueline's like me, I don't want to be in
- 44:39Speaker 2: the drama, but I want to know one hundred and
- 44:41Speaker 2: four percent about the drama. So she's like, I want
- 44:44Speaker 2: to watch. I mean, there's no other entertainment, so you
- 44:47Speaker 2: might as well watch the day fight.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Yeah, So, and I want to know what it's about.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Who disrespected who said wow.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So and we see the fight upstairs and Ephanie runs
- 45:00Speaker 1: upstairs and you see Sephanie just like trying to look
- 45:03Speaker 1: to see what's going on.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Well she she ran up there with the rest of
- 45:06Speaker 2: her salemates, kind of like what you're supposed to do.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I'd be like, oh no, I don't want to get
- 45:11Speaker 2: my glass's brooken. Guy, next time. I got you next.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Time, next time, next time, next time, unless I'm asleep,
- 45:16Speaker 1: and then don't.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Bother me, bother me.
- 45:19Speaker 1: So the guards you're just watching, and we see Jacqueline going,
- 45:23Speaker 1: why won't you stop? Then you're just allowing the ship
- 45:25Speaker 1: to happen to the guards, and Stephanie goes, god, you know,
- 45:30Speaker 1: lucky for me, Lyric really likes me because I've seen
- 45:32Speaker 1: her get mad, you know, and then she can fight. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: but they were doing a lot of that holding the
- 45:38Speaker 1: hair and then with the other hand, girl, you.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Know, yeah, well you got a hold the bitch a
- 45:42Speaker 2: little bit, keep her still, so you know, look if you.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Book, you know, Sephanie says, that was exciting, Sean was
- 45:53Speaker 1: that was fun?
- 45:54Speaker 3: And Sephanie goes, first, girl, right, check.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Yes, Stephanie's I thinking, now I see why my sister
- 45:59Speaker 2: likes so much. It kept coming back. If this is
- 46:02Speaker 2: fun fun, I don't know. I think she may sign
- 46:04Speaker 2: up for an extra sixty days. Gonna be like Nate.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, now we got in the six hundred
- 46:11Speaker 1: zone zone six.
- 46:12Speaker 3: We got Matt.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Matt has not taken a shower. He is getting greasier
- 46:18Speaker 1: and greasier by the minute.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I so gross, Well wash his hair, but he started
- 46:29Speaker 2: out gross. He was gross on the outside and his
- 46:31Speaker 2: hair was greasy on the outside. I know, just even
- 46:35Speaker 2: with soap, just soap.
- 46:36Speaker 3: If they've only given you a bar soap, use that soap.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Get some of the grease. Gave it all off. Oh
- 46:43Speaker 2: it's bad and it's thinning, and just it doesn't look
- 46:46Speaker 2: it's not giving what he wants it to give. No,
- 46:49Speaker 2: he's a neutral fault, so.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Matt says. You know, I consider myself a strong guy.
- 46:56Speaker 1: You know, I was a prison chaplain for years and
- 46:59Speaker 1: I never got any closure for that. And you know,
- 47:01Speaker 1: I'm going back to jail to regain the faith I
- 47:04Speaker 1: had in inmates, to see them as humans and not
- 47:07Speaker 1: as the thing they did. And I know being here
- 47:09Speaker 1: is gonna make me a better person. I think I
- 47:11Speaker 1: can make a difference in the communities.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Okay, okay, I think at.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Some point he is gonna bug somebody just enough.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Uh. It almost happened on this episode. Yeah, well, I
- 47:23Speaker 2: don't know. He was talking out one guy and it
- 47:24Speaker 2: was bugging the fuck out of me. I would have
- 47:25Speaker 2: been like, dude, get out of here. You guys to
- 47:27Speaker 2: get up, out of here, Get out of here. I'd enough.
- 47:31Speaker 1: So now we see him preaching to some inmate about Jesus,
- 47:34Speaker 1: and he's like, you know what you should do when
- 47:36Speaker 1: you get out of you got to find yourself a
- 47:37Speaker 1: good Bible preaching pastor. And the guy's like, and my
- 47:42Speaker 1: note here is I can't tell if that guy is
- 47:44Speaker 1: interested in this Jesus talk or not.
- 47:46Speaker 2: He's not. No, he was just like, when is this fuck?
- 47:49Speaker 2: We're gonna get out of my cell. Like it wasn't
- 47:51Speaker 2: even matt cell, it was someone else's cell.
- 47:54Speaker 1: He went in to be like, Hey, here's somebody I'm
- 47:56Speaker 1: gonna what's the word I'm looking to for the mentor
- 48:00Speaker 1: to Yeah, Oh, I'm gonna testify. I'm gonna give my testimony.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Yeah, the guy wasn't interested.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Now Matt's getting a roommate. His name is Lawrence, and
- 48:11Speaker 1: Lawrence is being transferred from another zone, which means probably
- 48:14Speaker 1: some shit went down in another zone.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeap, usually not a good thing.
- 48:19Speaker 1: And he comes in and Matt goes, are you okay
- 48:21Speaker 1: with the top bunk?
- 48:22Speaker 2: And Lauren goes.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Lawrence goes not really, man, like, you know, back hurts,
- 48:26Speaker 1: and Matt goes, well, I'm old, so like my back
- 48:29Speaker 1: really hurts, and he goes yeah. He goes, man, I
- 48:31Speaker 1: got shot three times, and and Matt's like, okay, well
- 48:36Speaker 1: you can have it three times. And then he says, yeah,
- 48:41Speaker 1: the reason I'm here is like, man, it was crazy,
- 48:44Speaker 1: like I got in the fight with this guy and
- 48:46Speaker 1: like I popped him whatever it was self defense, self defense.
- 48:49Speaker 1: And Matt goes, yeah, yeah, sounds like self defense. Sounds
- 48:51Speaker 1: like you were in the right. And Matt goes, it's
- 48:54Speaker 1: nice to have a SELLI. He likes Lawrence.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Their buddy's the guy's been shot three times.
- 48:59Speaker 2: See two. I mean. As the episode goes on, they
- 49:02Speaker 2: seem to get along. Yeah quite well, yeah, okay, all right,
- 49:07Speaker 2: And I said, Matt, who's hair now just looks like
- 49:09Speaker 2: wet noodles?
- 49:10Speaker 3: Girl says, He goes, god, it.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Seems like a Lawrence. Lawrence has really been around. He's
- 49:16Speaker 1: been in the system for years. He's hardcore. But during lockdown,
- 49:20Speaker 1: these two continue to bond. They're just chatting it up
- 49:23Speaker 1: and they talk about how dirty the cella is. They're
- 49:25Speaker 1: gonna sweep it, They're gonna mop it in the minute
- 49:27Speaker 1: the doors pop open, they run out so they can
- 49:29Speaker 1: be the first to get the broom and the mop.
- 49:31Speaker 2: And Lawrence is all about cleanliness. Cleanliness is next to godliness.
- 49:36Speaker 2: He's like, you said you swept this thing, but you
- 49:38Speaker 2: didn't this gross. Yeah, that sounds like me after I
- 49:41Speaker 2: said I cleaned up, and everyone's like where.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Matt says, it's nice to have somebody to talk to.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I got a kick out of him. Lawrence is fun.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I like Lawrence.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Okay, I hope it lasts me too.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Matt goes, you know, I've been building relationships with the inmates.
- 49:59Speaker 1: I'm at the top of my game. I'm at a
- 50:01Speaker 1: comfort zone here, all right, Matt, Okay, Matt, all right.
- 50:07Speaker 1: So he talks to a guy who says he just
- 50:08Speaker 1: came from the five hundred zone and the reason he
- 50:11Speaker 1: came over he because I got jumped over there. Man,
- 50:13Speaker 1: and we see this poor guy getting jumped, and I
- 50:16Speaker 1: just read I don't want.
- 50:17Speaker 2: To see this. I don't want to see this. This guy's just.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Sitting at like the lunch table and just like ten
- 50:21Speaker 1: guys jump on him and drag him and just beat
- 50:22Speaker 1: the shit out of him.
- 50:23Speaker 2: That's scary. Yeah, And they keep beating the shit out
- 50:26Speaker 2: of him and kicking him.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Kicking him, kicking.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody's interviewing.
- 50:33Speaker 1: So he says, you know, I God, I'm just trying
- 50:36Speaker 1: to figure out a way to I could talk to Andrew,
- 50:37Speaker 1: my son.
- 50:38Speaker 2: You know.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Not being able to talk to him is preying on
- 50:41Speaker 1: my mind. And I see other people like talking through
- 50:44Speaker 1: that door over there, Like I wonder if I'd be
- 50:45Speaker 1: able to talk to that door. So he goes over
- 50:47Speaker 1: and trying to talk to the door, and somebody on
- 50:49Speaker 1: the other side is like fucking with him, going.
- 50:50Speaker 2: What'd you say?
- 50:51Speaker 3: San Diego?
- 50:52Speaker 2: What huh? And just laughing. Andrew sounds so much like
- 50:56Speaker 2: san Diego.
- 50:59Speaker 1: So Matt is talking to his roommate Lawrence, and he's like,
- 51:04Speaker 1: this is a scary place, man, like being here scary,
- 51:07Speaker 1: And Lawrence goes, oh, man, the seventh floor, that's a
- 51:09Speaker 1: real live zoo up there. That's like drugs and weapons.
- 51:13Speaker 1: And now, now Andrew was not on the seventh floor.
- 51:17Speaker 1: But Matthew's very worried about this. He's like, oh my god,
- 51:22Speaker 1: he goes. You know, I'm panics. Now I'm starting to
- 51:23Speaker 1: panic because I'm so worried about my son. And then
- 51:26Speaker 1: of course he's like, what have I done? I've taken
- 51:28Speaker 1: my son out of Utah and brought him to a
- 51:30Speaker 1: jail in Fulton County. This conversation with Lawrence really made
- 51:34Speaker 1: me panic, like, what's going to happen to my son?
- 51:37Speaker 2: I mean, you have so much time to think about
- 51:40Speaker 2: that kind of shit before y'all signed up for the program. Look,
- 51:43Speaker 2: matt you could have signed up for the program alone. Yeah,
- 51:47Speaker 2: to drive your child into the situation because I think
- 51:50Speaker 2: you think your child may be gay.
- 51:53Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Yeah, So he pushes the panic button that is in everything,
- 52:00Speaker 1: and somebody is supposed to come immediately, and nobody comes.
- 52:04Speaker 2: We see him sitting there for a long time. Now,
- 52:06Speaker 2: I did wonder that's scary. That's scary.
- 52:08Speaker 1: I did wonder if you pressed it more than once,
- 52:10Speaker 1: or just that one time, I'd be like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait, wait, yes, and then yelling out of
- 52:17Speaker 2: the cell. Did anyone hear that? Tha? He gaped it
- 52:21Speaker 2: like that's scary that they didn't come.
- 52:23Speaker 1: They didn't come, nobody came, So he does the distress
- 52:26Speaker 1: signal behind his head. Now it's obviously nighttime. It's like
- 52:28Speaker 1: in the middle of the night, right, So what would
- 52:31Speaker 1: be the reason that production would go in there to
- 52:33Speaker 1: talk to him in the middle of the night, Like
- 52:36Speaker 1: they have to come up with some real good reason.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Well, I felt like I felt like the story that
- 52:44Speaker 2: he was sick, okay, or was panicky or something like that.
- 52:50Speaker 2: So they pulled him.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Out, but he pressed the button and nobody came, so
- 52:54Speaker 1: he had to do the distress signal. So production can't then,
- 53:00Speaker 1: oh and tell the CEOs, hey, he did a distress
- 53:03Speaker 1: signal because CEOs are not supposed to know.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Oh, the CEOs. But the CEOs don't know. The CEOs
- 53:10Speaker 2: don't know. Why did I have missed that part?
- 53:12Speaker 1: No, the CEOs don't know, the ms don't know, nobody.
- 53:14Speaker 1: The only person that knows is the colonel.
- 53:17Speaker 2: I thought the CEOs knew.
- 53:19Speaker 3: No, because they're there to squeal on the CEOs too.
- 53:21Speaker 1: They're there to show like I pres c came, there
- 53:25Speaker 1: were flights and the c Yeah, there were fights and
- 53:28Speaker 1: the CEOs did nothing.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Yeah that that makes perfect sense. Now okay, yeah, got it.
- 53:33Speaker 1: So my question is what did production go and tell
- 53:36Speaker 1: the CEO's like, hey, we just decided we want to
- 53:38Speaker 1: talk to Matt in the middle of the night.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Oh okay, I see.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Now you know they're gonna have to pull other people
- 53:43Speaker 1: out in the middle of the night too.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Yep, gotta do like more than one interview. Mmmm. Those
- 53:48Speaker 2: prisoners are not gonna be pretty happy about being pulled
- 53:50Speaker 2: out in the middle of the night. Yeah.
- 53:52Speaker 1: So he goes in with production and he's saying like,
- 53:56Speaker 1: I'm so worried about Andrew. Yes, I completely regret doing this.
- 54:00Speaker 1: And he goes and now I know if I push
- 54:01Speaker 1: that button, no one's going to help me, and I
- 54:04Speaker 1: need to know, and this is what he says. He
- 54:07Speaker 1: says this in like a like a Clint Eastwood like
- 54:11Speaker 1: like in a Western.
- 54:12Speaker 2: He looked.
- 54:13Speaker 1: He's like, I need to know if my son pushes
- 54:16Speaker 1: that button, that help would be instantaneous, and if he
- 54:19Speaker 1: doesn't get relief in that regard, my relief will be instantaneous.
- 54:25Speaker 2: What are you talking about you can't instantly do shit,
- 54:29Speaker 2: you're in prisons.
- 54:32Speaker 1: And then they're like, so you're gonna leave, and he goes, no,
- 54:34Speaker 1: I'm not leaving.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I'm just talking like he's so full of shit. The
- 54:39Speaker 2: toilet is fucking jealous, Like he just really is full
- 54:42Speaker 2: of it.
- 54:43Speaker 3: He's so dramatic, he's very dry.
- 54:45Speaker 2: I bet his wife is quite glad that he's he's gone.
- 54:48Speaker 2: She's a break.
- 54:49Speaker 1: She's like, I don't even care that I've got these
- 54:51Speaker 1: six adult children in this house, you know, or seven
- 54:55Speaker 1: and they got emo kids over there with band practice.
- 54:58Speaker 1: All right, I've been of a real about that. Did
- 55:01Speaker 1: you see it about the Emo kid? And why didn't
- 55:04Speaker 1: they take the Emo kid?
- 55:05Speaker 2: Yes? I did, yes, yes, yes, I got a couple
- 55:09Speaker 2: of really good shots at the Emo kid. Okay, that
- 55:11Speaker 2: is so funny.
- 55:12Speaker 1: All right, Over to Andrew in the five hundred zone.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He says, you know, I'm getting worried about my dad
- 55:18Speaker 1: because my dad gets very worried and very stressed, and
- 55:23Speaker 1: we've seen yeah, and.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Also he's really dramatic. Have you guys notice is really dramatic.
- 55:29Speaker 1: And he goes, you know, I do get worried because
- 55:32Speaker 1: I keep getting questioned about my cover story, and they
- 55:36Speaker 1: keep asking me. He's like, I don't know. I don't
- 55:38Speaker 1: think my dad stole that money, but I don't know.
- 55:40Speaker 1: And the guys are like, just tell us, you fox
- 55:42Speaker 1: some barnyard animals. Just tell us, just tell us why
- 55:45Speaker 1: the real reason you're here, and they're laughing. He's like, no,
- 55:49Speaker 1: I did what? But he goes, but it's been fine.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Now he and Alan are talking. Of course they're unaware
- 55:56Speaker 1: of each other. Yes, and Andrew goes, I don't know
- 56:00Speaker 1: that deal with that Alan guy is he's asking me
- 56:02Speaker 1: a lot of questions, Like he's really pressing me with
- 56:04Speaker 1: a lot of questions.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Weird. Alan's weird.
- 56:08Speaker 3: Alan is weird. He's a weird, right, weird guy.
- 56:11Speaker 2: I would not want to get pulled over by Alan
- 56:14Speaker 2: because I'd be like, are you okay? Because you don't
- 56:16Speaker 2: seem okay? Can we get another officer to coup pull
- 56:21Speaker 2: me over? Because I feel like really uncomfortable with you.
- 56:24Speaker 2: There's just something weird about him. I agree, Oh no,
- 56:29Speaker 2: and the ears don't help. No, it's the ears. So
- 56:31Speaker 2: I'm talking head.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Alan says, Andrew looks very different and he seems to
- 56:36Speaker 1: be pausing when I'm asking him questions and he's answering,
- 56:40Speaker 1: and his story.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Is a perfect cover story.
- 56:43Speaker 1: So I want to see if he's who I think
- 56:46Speaker 1: he is, right, Okay. In the talking Head, we see
- 56:50Speaker 1: Andrew go, I don't know why that guy's asking me
- 56:52Speaker 1: so many questions, like back off the get away from me, dude.
- 56:57Speaker 2: So Andrew's drop that's what they do.
- 57:00Speaker 1: So Adri who's talking to Timothy, his cellmate, and he
- 57:04Speaker 1: talking about, you know, various jails Timothy's been in. He goes,
- 57:07Speaker 1: this is the worst one, Like this is the worst one.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Fulton County Jail is literally hell on earth. So at
- 57:13Speaker 1: least that's good to know that other jails aren't quite
- 57:16Speaker 1: as bad.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe Matt should have picked another jail for his
- 57:20Speaker 2: son to go into instead of like one of the
- 57:23Speaker 2: worst ones in the country.
- 57:24Speaker 1: When you sign up for the show, you get what
- 57:25Speaker 1: you get and you don't throw with it. Okay, So Andrew.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Says, you know, Timothy gets on my nerves in a
- 57:33Speaker 2: lot of different ways. That guy was obnoxious like that.
- 57:39Speaker 1: That would be my luck to be stuck with a
- 57:41Speaker 1: guy that is like burping in my face and flipping
- 57:44Speaker 1: flicking me. And because it looks like Andrew's like on
- 57:47Speaker 1: his little iPad thing like watching something or whatever. Oh, guys,
- 57:51Speaker 1: and Andrew goes. You know, I did a two year mission,
- 57:54Speaker 1: and I've got a lot of patience and a lot
- 57:57Speaker 1: of empathy for other people.
- 57:58Speaker 3: But Timothy is a lot.
- 58:00Speaker 2: He's pushing it like I would want to fight Timothy,
- 58:04Speaker 2: like seriously, like he was really bad.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I just I just did. I covered a date line
- 58:12Speaker 1: with Kimberly on her show Date with Dateline.
- 58:14Speaker 2: And wait a minute, so you were on a date
- 58:17Speaker 2: with Dateline. I am texting that him right now and
- 58:22Speaker 2: say I heard that. Oh yeah, you just wait to
- 58:25Speaker 2: We're good. She's gonna get it.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Katie is on a two week break, so she had Jake,
- 58:31Speaker 1: who's their co host sometimes last week, and then she
- 58:33Speaker 1: had me this week, and then I think next week
- 58:35Speaker 1: they're off.
- 58:36Speaker 3: So anyway you can text her.
- 58:39Speaker 2: So I mean, we could be the kkkse.
- 58:42Speaker 3: The kkks And that's a real unfortunate title.
- 58:46Speaker 2: The case.
- 58:48Speaker 1: The case is better, yeah, but she says, but there
- 58:52Speaker 1: was somebody on there that was so fucking annoying and
- 58:56Speaker 1: they were like and before his before his trial, he
- 59:00Speaker 1: did get shanked and killed in prison for what he
- 59:03Speaker 1: was known for, which was talking too much. There's a
- 59:06Speaker 1: guy on the episode who literally gets murdered because he
- 59:09Speaker 1: just in prison because he wouldn't shot the fuck up.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Do you think it was Timothy? Was his name Timothy?
- 59:15Speaker 2: His name man something else? Okay, caushaul something so who?
- 59:19Speaker 1: He said he was a neffle from nepaul A prince.
- 59:25Speaker 1: He was from nepaul Oh, okay, spoiler alert.
- 59:28Speaker 2: He wasn't to figure that one all right.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Now we get another new person, and this is Angelaie, right, Angelais.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I even wrote down sounds like andlay. I write down
- 59:43Speaker 1: sounds like Andelay, Angela Lay.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Now I'm wondering because they have made us think that
- 59:51Speaker 1: it's Angelay that's going to be the one that's gonna
- 59:55Speaker 1: get real used to prison.
- 59:56Speaker 2: But now I'm wondering if it's Stephanie Stephanie yeah, mm hmm,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: because I don't know which one it is. I know,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I mean neither. I was thinking the same thing because
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Tiffany is like living it up. Nobody dm us and
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: tell us nobody, DMA no, please don't, don't. We don't
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: want any spoilers. Don't tell us, don't and we know
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: you guys get excited to like tell us things. We
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: get it.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Don't tell us, we don't.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: You guys want to see like our like real reaction
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: to the story. Yes, don't, don't tell us.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Don't tell us who it is because we haven't. We're
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: watching it one by one and we don't know.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Okay, Yes, thanks for saying that. Yeah, we love you, guys,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: We love you.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: On Jelaie Okay, so she is twenty five.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: She's an electrician. She lives in Texas. Y. You know,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: if I ever saw on Jelai and she said, guess
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: what my job is, I would guess electrician, would you
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I would think I would think personal trainer. No, she
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: wasn't that buff or like I would think she worked
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: on a construction site. Yeah, she's got that vibe about her.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: She says she has a close family member who was
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: in and out of jail and she saw how the
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: the Tristan the system treated that person, and she goes,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you know, I think I'm going to get along with
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: my cell mates because I kind of look like them.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I even like shaved my head up on the side,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you know, to look more.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: She looks like a lyric Yeah, yeah, she looks like
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: a badass. Yeah. She goes to a tattoo parlor.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: She's talking about how to like finish up her sleeve
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: and stuff, and she says, I had a rough childhood.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I bounced between houses, my mom went through a lot.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I always had to be the strong one for my mom,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: for the family. And now, really my friends are my family.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: And we see her go to a dinner with her
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: friends and she says, I've always been very open about
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: my sexuality. I'm not going to hide it when I'm
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: in there, and uh, all my friends, you know, are
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: basically scared of me. And we see her friends like, yeah,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: she's aggressive, she's tough. I wouldn't want to fight her. Yeah,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I'm terrified, And then she in her docket heads she says,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you know, I don't know what's going to happen in there,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: but I'm something right now. I ain't gonna be nobody's bitch.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna fuck me over, and I have I have
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: a real problem with authority. And I think I'm gonna
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: have more problems with the CEOs than the inmates. We're
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: barely gonna see the CEOs, so it doesn't matter.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it ain't gonna be no problems, right, there're no
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: beefing with the CEOs because they don't give a fu.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Which are there's there for a paycheck? Yep.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: So she goes to get handcuffed like everybody does, and
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: she was like, no, I'm really ready. I've got in
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: my mindset like I'm ready to go. But we see
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: a flashback to well, we don't know what her story is,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: but she says a flashback to when they go to
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the class to get their story of the classroom, and
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the colonel says, in the women's zones, they tend to
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: women tend to immediately try to create family, you know,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: which makes sense, and that'll be good for you to
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: get in with a group of people, but don't get
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: involved in any of their shenanigans. Oh boy, which we
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: don't know. So Angula, it's gonna take them in. Angelai says,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I'm in my persona, I'm embracing it. I'm no longer Angela,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: I'm now an inmate. And they take her into intake
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: and she's like badass, like looking around stuff. I was like, Okay,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: she's gonna be good.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Yeah. You kind of wonder if she gonna end up
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: being the softy, like really all about the girl's backstories
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: and trying to be like a mentor or something like that.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: But by the end of this season, I feel like
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Stephanie's gonna be fucking everybody in her cell block. This
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: is the She is acting like she's at in a
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: sorority house right now, like this is the best time
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: of her life. She's she is thriving, and I've never
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: had girlfriends. I'm like, girl, this is These are not
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: the kind of friends you want to call girlfriends. But
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: you know, go off. You know she's loving this, She's
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: not so.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Jacqueline and Stephanie have now clocked each other. I wonder
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: if they'll clock Angela too.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think they are.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Yeah, because she doesn't look as so different than the
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: other endmates. Yeah, Okay, now we're going to go to
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Alan Alan in Zone five hundred. He is talking about
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: a sandwich. He's like, it's supposed to be boloney, but
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I don't think it is. I didn't even like Blooney
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: in the real world, much less whatever.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: This is supposed to be.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Oh, you know, I've been here a week. My roommate
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Nick has been great. He's so welcoming. He's helped me,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: he's helped me with the rules and everything. But Nick,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: he was in and out quick he left.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Why did Nick have to go? I know, mm hmm.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Like sometimes when they say that person has to go,
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: I'm like, like, go to like another prison, go to
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: another ward or like released.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Or is it now it's time for them to go
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: to court and then after that they'll go to like
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: a real prison or Okay, Well we didn't get any
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: information where Nick went, so Alan got to move to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: the bottom bunk, so that was good, and he goes,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I'm without a cell mate now, and so he's talking
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: to the camera in the corner, which is funny. And
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: also when we saw Matt when he was, you know,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: doing it before he did the distress signal, he was
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: like pretending in the middle of his cell. He was
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: like screaming, like like like a Shawshank redemption moment. Ah,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Like he's screaming, so it would all be on camera
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: because he's so dramatic.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: He just not like, no, Matt, I don't get it.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Can you imagine him being a preacher? No, he's so annoying.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: He would be just like he'd have the only members
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: of his congregation would be like his seventeen kids, right right,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: no one else could deal with them.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Okay, So Alan's on the bottom bunk and he's without
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a cell mat. He's talking to the camera and he says,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: you know, it can mess with your mind when you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: get locked when they locked you down like this and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you're in here by yourself, and he says, you know,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: we've been in lockdown for twenty hours, and he doesn't
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: know why, and they tell them biill, Yeah, they had
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: to go on lockdowns. They're short of CEOs, so they
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: can't let people out.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Damn. Yeah.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: So because they're short of CEOs, they all get locked
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: in their their rooms for twenty hours.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: That's if you don't if you don't have a tablet.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I don't know if they allow them,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: how they let them charge the tablets, because they definitely
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: don't allow us.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true too. So you wonder how a certain
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: time on that tablet.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: And I wonder if then you take your tablet over
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: to the CEO and they charge it and you come
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: back and get it in two hours or whatever.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Well, if they're counting on the CEOs to charge your shit,
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: they're never gonna get a charge on their tablets because
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: the CEO don't. They're like, let me, let me catch
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: up on Gilmore Girls. I want to catch up on
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: some back episodes. Okay.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: So Alan says, you know, I'm beginning to like change
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: my thoughts on arresting people for these small things, because
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: Wish this life on anybody.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: All right, So a new inmate is coming into room
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: with Alan. Allen's excited to get somebody to talk to,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and he walks in and he goes, what's your name?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: He goes in the joint they call me Pancho, and
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: he goes, okay, okay, show okay, and he goes, yeah,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: this is my second time. He was at Rice Street
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: or something, and Alan says, yeah, this is my first
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: time being here. Mm hmmm, because before I was in
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: my apartment everything was fine.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: So yeah, with my wife or fiance and my newborn
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: baby that I don't remember Alan's backstory.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Do we know Alan's backstory?
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a cop, he's I can't remember if he's
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: married or if it's his fiance, and he's gonna baby. Yeah,
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I don't think we heard it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: I don't think we did either.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: But I've got the notes, but I don't feel like
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: going back and looking because somebody will tell us. But
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I really don't think I think you and I would
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: remember together.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: No, I don't think he had a backstory.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: And when I say I like going back and looking,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: which means I would have to pause these notes, go
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to the other notes, and I don't want to have
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: to pause the podcast to do that.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: I can't remember.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I can't remember either, because they just called him chicken legs.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: They said he had a mullet. Yeah, okay, I'm drawing
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: a blank. I'll go look at the notes from the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: last episode. If I figure it out, i'll text you, okay.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: So Poncho comes in. He says, this is the second
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: time being there, and Alan goes, oh, really, it's my
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: first time here. And he's asking what he's in for,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: and he goes, I'm in here for two fta's failure
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: to appears. They got me on some bullshit. He goes, listen,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: here's what happened. My buddy was playing with a gun
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and accidentally shot and killed himself right in the heart.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: And he goes, and I was there and they ran
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: my name, and I had a warrant out and then.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: He's had failure to appear anyway.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: He warrants were out for failure to here on something else.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: And then he's near his buddy who accidentally shot himself
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: in the heart with a gun.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: And then the way that he goes, if it weren't
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: for my friends shooting himself, I wouldn't even be here.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: She's dead, Okay, no sympathy for the dead, I see, Okay.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: So then we see Alan and his roommate talking about
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: what we're about to find out, which is Carl breaks
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Nate's tablet and Alan's like, wow, this is crazy. Half
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: the dorm are ready to take up for Nate and attack.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: This is crazy. How was these guys love Nate? I know,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I'm sort I think is Nate community dick or something
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: like that? No, they never people would be jealous, So
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: I mean they feel the me to protect like Nate
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: is their boy. I know.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I think the ain's just a good guy who never
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: fucks with anybody, never tries to take your food, never
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: tries to like get on anybody's bad.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Side, you know, And they love his ass. They love Nate.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: So then we see Alan's roommate stands up on a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: chair and it's like, I'm gonna try to take this
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: light fixture down. Alan's like why, he goes cuz you
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: could use it to make a shank. He's like huh,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and then he pulls out the plastic cup that they
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: used to put their toothbrushes in and starts tearing it
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: apart to make a shank. Scary, and Alan's like what
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: are you doing? And Pancho goes, come on, Alan, think
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: like a criminal. And Alan's like, I'm not going down
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: for somebody else's broken shit, man, Like i don't want
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: to get any more time at it. I'm staying out
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: of it. And Pancha's like, no, you're not. You're not
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: staying out of anything that's scary. And Al's like, well,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: like you better do. Like he's basically threatening him, like
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: if you don't do something, like I'm gonna do something
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, And Pancho, who's been there one day,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: was like, don't you want to stay alive? Alan's like huh.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Alic's like wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Here for about a week, there's really been no threats.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: You coming here one day. Now we're talking about shaking
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: people I'm sorry to think you might be the problem. Pancho, God,
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: you're the problem. And here's the thing. Why is Poncho
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: even involved? He just got there. He doesn't even know Nate.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I know, he didn't know anybody. Okay, so now we're
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: at Nate. Okay, here's where the problem happens.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Carl, who they call big Swol because he is buff.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: He is buff.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: They're asking it, carl Is. Carl says to Nate, where's
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: your tablet? I I wrote down that. Carl said, can
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I use your tablet? But later they're saying no, he
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: never said, he just said where is it?
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Where is it?
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: And Nate says it's locked in myself. So then Carl
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: goes and presses the button and says, can you open
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: five o six?
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Just real quick, just real quick? And they do it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: They opened and they know five oh six is not
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: his cell.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: I know that's fucking scary. And they open it up
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: and he goes in and takes it.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and then the talking head Carl goes, I don't know,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: is the law of the jungle man the weaker or
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: preyed upon like whatever?
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: So Nate goes.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: So they're interchangeably using the word tablet and using the
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: word iPad and so, and the talking head Nate goes,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: he went in and took my iPad And that's not right,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: that's not right, he said. You know, but what if
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: it wasn't a tablet, Like what if we were really
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: beefing and he had a shank and came in, nobody
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: cames what he was doing and going out, that would
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: be on the guards. If he just asked them to
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: open my cell and I was younger, yeah, and he goes,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: and that would be on the guards. So we'd have
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: a real problem.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: I can't believe they did that.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: I can't believe they're just like, oh, sure, we'll just
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: press the button.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I'll let you go off. Then yeah. Wow.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: So now we see it, literally says gang members. These
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: other gang members, I guess the ones that are against Car,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: but they love Nate, love Nate, and they're asking Nate
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: about like what happened, and they're.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Like, we'll go get it back for you. We'll go
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: get it back for you.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: And he goes like, don't worry about it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: We're good.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: And we see Carl holding that iPad just dancing.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, listen to his music. Yes, he's got his.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Music and he's just dancing around and he's like, oh
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: my god, like, I know I'm going to have to
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: retaliate on this. And he's talking to another guy who goes,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: if you said it's in your room, he should not
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: have gone in there and taken it, right. So Nate
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: goes and says, Carl, where's my tablet? And Carl goes,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I slid it under your door, and so he's like,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: all right, So now that all the doors are popped
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: back open, they all get to go back in, and
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Nate picks it up and goes, it's broken, like it shattered.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: The whole thing is shattered.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Like what an asshole. You stole it, then you broke it,
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: then you return it. You should have just kept it.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Nate goes, not only did he steal it, he broke
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: it and then slid it under my door broken, and
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: so like he's showing it to his roommate. Yeah, so
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: everybody's not walking by looking at him.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: They want to know what happened. M hm hm, And
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: everybody's like, what's he gonna do? What's he gonna do?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: And he goes, you know, I'm gonna lose respect if
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I don't address it, and they're all like, man, you
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: know you're getting charged two hundred dollars for that, and
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: then you got to get another one, right right. So
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Carl is like, hell, no, I didn't break it. I
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: listened to one song and then I slid it back
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: under his door. And the other guy's like, man, he
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: broke his tablet. He's like, no, I didn't.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: I did not break it.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Now there's an inmate that has like a facial piercing
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: here and he says Carl acts like he didn't do it.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: He's lying, And we all know Nate's gonna have to
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: beat his ass up in some way somehow. So we
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: all got to ride with Nate.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: Oh this is scary because poor Nate is in such distress.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: He's like, I know what I mean, I don't want
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: to have to kick any of us. As they're like, no,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you're going to We're gonna, we're gonna have your back,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: and we got we got shanks and you're like what
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the fuck?
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Like he's like, okay, no one needs to get killed
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: because the screen is broken. You know what, actually, guys,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: is my fault. I didn't purchase purchase a screen protector.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: It's my fault. We're gonna let this go, and it's
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: all right. Everyone just calmed down. But like these people
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: are ready to go because they already hate Big Swollen.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Anyway, do you think Carl broke it on purpose or
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: broke it on accent? It's like, oh fuck, and just
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: slid it back under the door and be like I.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: Don't know what happened.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Why would he break his shit on purpose?
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: You know, if because it's an asshole, why would he
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: go steal it on purpose? Right? Right? Because you wanted
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: to hear a song? Man, just wonder that one song.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: You know how it is when we have that one
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: song in your head and you just kind of listen
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: to it, you get all the fills.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess that's what was going on with Big
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Swoll that day. So Nate's like, man, you break my
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: ship and you don't even say anything. Let's the fuck's up, shit, man,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: And Desmond's like, I'm gonna have to pocus pocus bitch
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: as up.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Fuck that bitch.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: And Date's like no, no, no, no, no, Desmon goes no, man,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: this is penitentiary rules and effect, and it goes. I'm
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: not trying to get me or you or anybody any
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: more time, right. Desmond goes that ship's lame was hell, Like,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: come on, bro, what's the plan.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: What we're gonna do?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Like they're like yeah, yeah, yeah, they're like we ride
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: at down, we ride it down. Nick, you're in charge.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: And he's like, I don't care that. Yeah yeah, right,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: so I'm talking to that. Desmond goes, I won't. I'm
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: wanna help you fight, but you gotta stand up for
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: yourself like he won't stand up for himself. And and
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you don't want them to think they could try you
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: because one dude tries you and then another dude tries you.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: It's yeah, it's it's like such a weird physician to
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: be in.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you're if you're like, man, that's fucked up.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: But like I hate you now you're my enemy, but
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do anything about it. Well, another guy's
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: gonna be like on next week, I can still is commissary.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: He let him get away with doing that, so let
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: me do this.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh, Nate Desmond says, look, I know you're
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: on that mark and Luther kingshit and non violent protest shit.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: That was so funny.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: The Desmond goes, but I'm on the Malcolm X shit
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: by any means necessary.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Martin Luther King was like, Okay, when
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I sat down and wrote the Eye have a Dream speech,
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: I didn't think it would be used in prison, you
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: know what I mean. I just wanted us all to
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: come together. This was not a prison speech right there. Yeah,
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: that was hilarious how he put that together like that.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh, look at Desmond, he's pretty smart.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Yeah right, he's listened to history. So now we hear Carl,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: who's yelling whoever picked up Nate's tabling and crushed it?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You're a real sucker ass dude, man, whoever did that
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: to Nate?
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: Everyone knows it was you, Like we're on the outside, yeah,
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: and we know you did it.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: And then they're trying to be like, well, maybe like
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: when he slid it under and they opened the door.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Somebody stepped on it. Yeah.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Now the talking head Alan goes, yeah, you could hear Carl,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Carl's yelling from somebody Else's say that somebody else from
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: his cell that somebody else did it, but we know
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Carl did it. Yeah, and we see some other guys
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: saying like, oh, we're gonna have to get him.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: We're gonna all have.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: To get Carl, and they're all just laughing about it,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: laughing about it. Nate goes, my fun times, Nate goes,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: everybody's expecting me to do something, you know. So then
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: he looks out and they see a team of officers
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: walking through and they're like, uh, oh, what's Green Team
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: doing up in here?
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: The black screen of DEAs says, this is the direct
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Action Response team is called during high risk situations. Dart,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I wonder if I call him Green Team. I don't know.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: It feels like they'd be the Red team because they're
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: like stopping this situation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Green Team.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: So the colonel says, we had to remove inmate Fisher
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: to avoid conflict. We have heard he might be a
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: target for a gang stabbing, and everybody's yelling. He's like,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: you bitch, ass p word, blah blah blah, get the
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: fuck out of here. And then you see Nate talking
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: to Desmond like, man, I was worried, Like God, if
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: you stabbed him, I'm gonna have to get my hit son.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: And Desmond's like, yeah, motherfucker, if I stabbed him.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: You're gonna have you gotta kick him in the head
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: or something like, God, I'm not stabbing him for no reason.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: And then you see Alan go, Yeah, now I'm worried
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: because Pancho had now has a shank for no reason.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: What was he gonna do with his fucking shank? Like,
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm gonna wake up, if the
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: shank's gonna be in my face, I don't. I don't
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: take all my baloney, Take all my baloney.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Take my baloney. And would you like the bottom boom
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: because I don't need it.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: I need the bottom. I can sleep on the floor.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: You can have both bits, whatever you want, whatever you want.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Black Screen and Death Before five hundred is released
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: from their lockdown. When Carl is getting taken out, the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: dart team plans a raid and the colonel says, we
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: have heard of shanks inside Zone five hundred.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Well, if they're just watching those little cameras, they would
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: have seen. I'm wondering how they're getting So someone's a snitch,
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: somebody's snitching from hitched.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Yeah, or production has told them, like we're watching this
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: and we can see what's going on.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, Yeah, that's true too.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: So next time on sixty days in, everybody's getting searched.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: You know, they've got them all out of their cells,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: and every they're flipping the do in the searches and
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Angela enters and we see another new guy who's entering.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: We don't get his name. He's a cute guy. He's
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: got a wife and kids. So what's going on there?
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: Oh wow, why are you trying to be away from
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: your family? I don't know, but he was cute.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: And now we see Jacqueline. Jacqueline's dorm is full of
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: people constantly yelling and fighting. She says, everybody's yelling and fighting.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: There's no repercussions on any of this. And we see
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: her just lose her gd mind and she's yelling, shut
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the fuck and go to sleep.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Okay, someone's gonna beat up Jacquelin. Do you think, yeah,
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: she's fucking annoying, Like, Okay, she's not annoying, but to them,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: I bet they think she's really annoying. She's right in
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: what she's saying, yeah, but she's kind of going against
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: the crew a little bit, so she may be getting
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: on some people's bad side. Here's the thing.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: If you've got nothing to do in there, and they
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: won't let you sleep at night, just like you know,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: three to six every afternoon is my nap time.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Like I don't know. Yeah, yeah, I agree. I don't
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: think she's gonna make the sixty days either. I don't think.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: I'm very surprised, whereas Stephanie's gonna sign up for like
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: another six today. I don't feel like I have enough
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: enough intel. Let me stay. I don't know, one hundred
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: and twenty more days. She likes it there.
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: If we see next week, all of a sudden, lyrics
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: got like real long hair.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: We know where it came from. We know where it
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: came from. But I think Stephanie, I think she's gonna
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: give it her happily. Yeah, she's gonna think the bonds us.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: It's like a friendship bracelet made about a hair extensions
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: for them. Yeah, yeah, she has to give it away.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: Go ahead and take it out. I don't know how
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: Oh are you touching me? I feel like we're closer now,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: You're right. Stephanie does think it's a sorority house, totally does.

- 1:22:30Speaker 1: doing in the present. We're gonna we will research all
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of that ourselves at the end, but don't because we
