- Mega Millions Makes Moves! This is The Lottery Rundown for Saturday August 8th Mega Millions drew Friday night with 17, 20, 32, 54, 57, and Mega Ball 23. Nobody hit the jackpot, so the game rolls on after its late-July reset. The Mega Ball 23 is one of the least-drawn Mega Balls over the last six years, showing up 19 times, so it picked a dramatic moment to stop pretending it was unavailable. Do you think 23 finally checked its voicemail? Tuesday’s jackpot is an estimated 80 million dollars, with a 34 million dollar cash value. That could buy a private island with a suspiciously large shed for storing novelty scissors. Pivoting to Powerball, the last draw was Wednesday, August 5, with 14, 20, 59, 60, 61, and Powerball 25, plus a 2X multiplier. No jackpot winner landed, but one lucky ticket holder in Ohio won 1 million dollars. The white balls came in top-heavy, with 59, 60, and 61 all crowding the high end, while 61 has been one of the more frequent Powerball white balls over the last six years. Tonight’s jackpot is an estimated 856 million dollars, with a 371 million dollar cash value. This run is now 40 drawings and 95 days without a jackpot winner, longer than usual and around the 86th percentile of recent gaps.
