- 0:03Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:07Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:11Speaker 1: Amy Torber.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I'm Kate Torber. And I'm Sophie Torber.
- 0:13Speaker 1: And coming up on today's show, Bachelor star Tara Pavlovich
- 0:17Speaker 1: reveals her marriage is over. Tammy Hembrough and a new
- 0:21Speaker 1: boyfriend pack on the PDA. Chloe Zepp's controversial marriage counsellor,
- 0:26Speaker 1: the first Molly Mae's much-anticipated Adidas shoes have dropped to
- 0:30Speaker 1: mixed reviews, Kate.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Look, the reviews were always going to be mixed.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Molly Mae always seems to elicit such a diverse reaction.
- 0:38Speaker 1: There are people like us who simply loved the shoes
- 0:40Speaker 1: from the get-go. I mean, I've got to admit, there
- 0:42Speaker 1: probably wasn't a universe where I wasn't going to like
- 0:45Speaker 1: the shoes. My favourites would have to be the macho ones.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I love the colour and And I love the double
- 0:51Speaker 1: bow design.
- 0:52Speaker 2: It is so cute.
- 0:53Speaker 1: That's the only thing I wasn't sure of when I
- 0:55Speaker 1: first saw a photo of them, because for those who
- 0:57Speaker 1: haven't seen the shoes, they're this green matcha shade. And
- 1:01Speaker 1: then the shoelaces are broken into two sections. So at
- 1:03Speaker 1: the top, there's a white shoelace. And then at the bottom,
- 1:05Speaker 1: there's a pink shoelace. Obviously, it's for the strawberry matches
- 1:08Speaker 1: and then the foam up the top to represent that.
- 1:11Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, I don't know how I
- 1:12Speaker 1: feel about that because it's quite a big statement with
- 1:14Speaker 1: the shoelaces. But she had to go there with the
- 1:16Speaker 1: shoelace because she was already coughing criticism about, oh, these
- 1:19Speaker 1: shoes are just going to be boring. We've already got
- 1:21Speaker 1: a green samba. This made them stand out. And she's
- 1:24Speaker 1: thought of everything because the matcha shoes actually come with
- 1:27Speaker 1: matcha colored shoelaces. And she explained that you don't have
- 1:30Speaker 1: to wear them with the double bow. You can actually
- 1:33Speaker 1: lace them just like normal shoelaces. You can have pink shoelaces,
- 1:35Speaker 1: you can have white and you can have the matcha.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So essentially three different looks from one pair of shoes
- 1:40Speaker 1: and all for a hundred pounds. So around 200 Australian dollars.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I really want some. We are recording before they've gone
- 1:47Speaker 1: on sale. I'm guessing they're going to sell like hotcakes.
- 1:50Speaker 2: My money is on the matcha shoes selling out first.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I'm not as big a fan of the latte shoes
- 1:54Speaker 1: because they are actually superstars.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Which is an interesting move.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I don't think anyone was expecting Molly to revive the superstars.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It's actually a very clever move from Adidas to bring
- 2:03Speaker 1: out the superstars with Molly May because her audience is
- 2:06Speaker 1: predominantly made up of Gen Zers who wouldn't have worn
- 2:10Speaker 1: the superstars back in 2015 when they were popular. They
- 2:12Speaker 1: were probably too young. So she's introducing the superstars to
- 2:16Speaker 1: this fresh audience. So it's win-win for Adidas because let's
- 2:19Speaker 1: be honest, anything that Molly Mae brings out is going
- 2:21Speaker 1: to sell out for Adidas, even if it's a shoe
- 2:24Speaker 1: like the Superstar that people haven't worn for over 10 years. Well,
- 2:27Speaker 1: in a recent vlog, Molly was talking about how she's
- 2:29Speaker 1: recently rediscovered Superstars. I feel like she was reading from
- 2:32Speaker 1: a bit of a script from Adidas and she was
- 2:34Speaker 1: saying that they were the shoe that was missing in
- 2:37Speaker 1: her wardrobe because they're this perfect mix between a chunky
- 2:40Speaker 1: and a slimmer trainer. I'm spewing because I only just
- 2:43Speaker 1: recently chucked out my superstars from 2015. I was like,
- 2:47Speaker 1: of course, but I mean, if there's any of Molly
- 2:49Speaker 1: May's latte ones left, I I probably will purchase. It's
- 2:52Speaker 1: quite cute because she said the brown stripes on the
- 2:55Speaker 1: superstars are a bit of a nod to the brown
- 2:57Speaker 1: Spiezel shoe that she wore in the photo that first
- 3:00Speaker 1: got her noticed by Adidas. I just want to know
- 3:02Speaker 1: whether I can get them in Australia or not. I
- 3:04Speaker 1: feel like these are only a UK thing. I saw
- 3:06Speaker 1: them for $ 389 on some StockX website. So I mean,
- 3:10Speaker 1: this is the thing with Adidas sneakers and shoes in general,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you're going to find a lot of people will buy
- 3:15Speaker 1: them to on sale or they'll buy them for their collection. Well, fortunately,
- 3:19Speaker 1: Molly has confirmed this is just the start of her
- 3:21Speaker 1: collaboration with Adidas. When she originally announced that she had
- 3:26Speaker 1: this deal with Adidas, she said she was bringing out
- 3:28Speaker 1: a collection and a lot of people were confused when
- 3:30Speaker 1: it was only two shoes, but she has said more
- 3:33Speaker 1: is coming. I'm hoping the new collection will include some
- 3:35Speaker 1: tracksuits because I am obsessed with this dark green pair
- 3:39Speaker 1: of Adidas original trackies that she wore and they've sold
- 3:42Speaker 1: out everywhere. So I'm hoping that she brings out another
- 3:44Speaker 1: cool color. Is that how she revealed that she made
- 3:47Speaker 1: the team at Adidas redo the photo shoot? Cause she
- 3:49Speaker 1: wasn't happy.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I mean, I got it.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Cause she said she was pregnant at the time and
- 3:53Speaker 1: she saw the photos and was like, nah, that's something
- 3:55Speaker 1: I would do. Oh, it's a hundred percent something you
- 3:57Speaker 1: would do. So I kind of want to see what
- 3:59Speaker 1: the old photos look like. I'd love to know how
- 4:01Speaker 1: much money this deal is worth, the fact that they
- 4:04Speaker 1: were happy just to redo the photo shoot because it
- 4:06Speaker 1: would have been so expensive, particularly because she has to
- 4:09Speaker 1: fly across to Germany to work with the team.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I assume the photo shoot would have been in Germany.
- 4:14Speaker 1: People are saying the deal's worth two million pounds. Kate,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if they end up not actually selling them in Australia
- 4:19Speaker 1: or they're sold out, if you go on Adonis' website,
- 4:21Speaker 1: they've got a gazelle that looks exactly like them.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Oh, okay. That's good to know.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It appears things are getting serious between Tammy Hembrough and
- 4:30Speaker 1: a new boyfriend, Grayson Timoana. The couple spent the Easter
- 4:34Speaker 1: long weekend in Tammy's hometown and boy, Kate, did they
- 4:37Speaker 1: pack on the PDA. I know, I am not a
- 4:40Speaker 1: fan of PDA and it seems like my social media
- 4:43Speaker 1: algorithm knows that and is just trying to annoy me
- 4:45Speaker 1: because every week it feels like there are fresh photos
- 4:48Speaker 1: of this pair making out on the beach together and
- 4:50Speaker 1: I've just seen far too much of it. And what
- 4:53Speaker 1: I find really awkward about the photos is it's clear
- 4:55Speaker 1: that Tammy and Grayson know the paps are there and
- 4:59Speaker 1: it seems like they're really playing it up for the cameras.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You say that you keep getting flooded with the pap pics.
- 5:04Speaker 1: My For You page constantly keeps recommending his TikTok, but
- 5:07Speaker 1: the awkward thing is he's only getting about five likes
- 5:10Speaker 1: on the videos. There was one of him like pretending
- 5:13Speaker 1: to play basketball and it's just him pouting. I'm like,
- 5:16Speaker 1: please stop recommending this. I just would love to know
- 5:18Speaker 1: where the cameras were actually situated this weekend in relation
- 5:21Speaker 1: to where Tammy and Grayson were on the beach because
- 5:24Speaker 1: the Daily Mail made it look like they positioned their
- 5:26Speaker 1: picnic rug literally right in front of the cameras.
- 5:30Speaker 2: And it actually looked like.
- 5:30Speaker 1: The usual spot Tammy takes her kids. Fortunately, they didn't
- 5:34Speaker 1: appear to be there. But the biggest question I have is,
- 5:37Speaker 1: did Grayson meet Tammy's kids at Easter? I remember last
- 5:41Speaker 1: year we were talking about the fact that Matt Zukowski
- 5:43Speaker 1: was absent from her Easter celebrations and that really did
- 5:46Speaker 1: spark a lot of speculation that the couple had broken up.
- 5:49Speaker 1: It's just wild to think a year on she's got
- 5:51Speaker 1: this new boyfriend. I've been trying to work out the
- 5:54Speaker 1: whole Easter timeline because prior to these pap shots dropping,
- 5:58Speaker 1: Tammy was posting as if she was having this really cute,
- 6:00Speaker 1: wholesome family Easter.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Holiday with her kids.
- 6:04Speaker 1: However, Grayson today uploaded a photo dump of his time
- 6:08Speaker 1: in Queensland and And it appears that he and Tammy
- 6:11Speaker 1: were holidaying in Noosa together as well. So I don't
- 6:13Speaker 1: know if that was in the lead up to Easter. He,
- 6:16Speaker 1: of course, uploaded a photo of her standing in her
- 6:19Speaker 1: bikinis very far away in a house. So you have
- 6:22Speaker 1: to really zoom in, but you can tell it is her.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Who seems so lovely.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And sometimes she'll be sharing photos of Matt and Tammy's
- 6:34Speaker 1: daughter Posey on the weekend.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And then she'll also pop up in Tammy's videos on
- 6:39Speaker 2: the weekend.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And I'm like, hold on, are Tammy's videos really old?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Like whose is in real time? Yeah, well, I mean,
- 6:44Speaker 1: she might go between the houses on the weekend. Who
- 6:46Speaker 1: knows what their arrangement is? It was quite funny talking
- 6:50Speaker 1: about Matt Paul. He actually poked a bit of fun
- 6:53Speaker 1: at Tammy last week. So he shared a photo of
- 6:56Speaker 1: the back of Posey's hair And she had one of
- 6:58Speaker 1: those like fake long plaits clipped in the back of it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And he captioned the photo like mother, like daughter with
- 7:05Speaker 1: a laughing emoji. I wonder if they had a bit
- 7:07Speaker 1: of a laugh about that with Tammy or whether she
- 7:09Speaker 1: was completely unaware it was being posted. Well, I think
- 7:13Speaker 1: considering she's had so many TikToks up paying herself out,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I think she probably would have laughed. Well, back to
- 7:18Speaker 1: Tammy's relationship with Grayson. She actually spoke briefly about it
- 7:22Speaker 1: on Lucy Jackson and Nikki Westcott's radio show. So in
- 7:25Speaker 1: an interview, she said that she wanted to protect her
- 7:28Speaker 1: new relationship. What do you guys think about that? It's
- 7:30Speaker 1: odd that you want to protect it, but you're ringing
- 7:32Speaker 1: the paps every five minutes. And also you're appearing on
- 7:35Speaker 1: a red carpet with him when things are very fresh.
- 7:37Speaker 1: It seems to be a bit of mixed messaging there.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Hang on, back to the pap comments. It's clearly Grayson
- 7:42Speaker 1: calling them. I don't think Tammy is. That was my
- 7:43Speaker 1: other point. Is Grayson aware? Does Grayson actually want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: be protected? Because I don't think he does. I think
- 7:48Speaker 1: he wants his relationship to be front and center out
- 7:52Speaker 1: in the media. It was funny before Tammy appeared on
- 7:54Speaker 1: Lucy and Nikki's radio show, she admitted that she was
- 7:58Speaker 1: quite worried about how rogue they were going to go
- 8:00Speaker 1: in terms of their line of questioning. I mean, I
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't blame her considering Lucy uploaded a video saying that
- 8:05Speaker 1: she wanted to ask Tammy who she'd fuck, marry and.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Kill out of her three fiancées.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That didn't make the radio cut, but it sounds like
- 8:13Speaker 1: Tammy may possibly be appearing on the Happy Hour podcast
- 8:17Speaker 1: with Lucy and Nikki. That would be so good because
- 8:20Speaker 1: they're actually friends and I feel like they could get
- 8:22Speaker 1: quite a lot of interesting details out of Tammy. Well,
- 8:25Speaker 1: Tammy's actually just arrived in the US ready for Coachella.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So I'm just bracing myself for a lot of TikToks
- 8:31Speaker 1: of Grace in there with her walking around pouting. Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: I think it's safe to say he will be there.
- 8:37Speaker 1: He posted a cryptic airport shot and, you know, obviously
- 8:40Speaker 1: he's been told he can't post too much, but he's
- 8:43Speaker 1: trying to let his followers piece it all together. He's
- 8:46Speaker 1: clearly very attention-seeking.
- 8:47Speaker 2: The 1,000 of them.
- 8:50Speaker 1: No, he's actually got 4,000 now, so he's doubled his following.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I just find it crazy though. I mean, we spoke
- 8:55Speaker 1: about this when Tammy was with Matt. The fact that
- 8:58Speaker 1: you can date someone who's got, what, like 20 plus
- 9:00Speaker 1: million followers and you're only getting 3,000 extra followers. The
- 9:05Speaker 1: only one that really monopolized on getting a following was
- 9:07Speaker 1: Rhys Hawkins. He's still got a massive following online. Yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but they grew together though.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And he's fucking hot.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Going back to Coachella for a second, is Sammy Guggenheimer
- 9:17Speaker 1: going or not? Because I know we spoke about the
- 9:19Speaker 1: fact that she seemed to be pleading for a ticket.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Has she actually got one? Judging by a quick.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Scroll of her TikTok, she still appears to be in Australia,
- 9:28Speaker 1: which must be a bit of a kick in the dick.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I have seen some TikTokers.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Saying that they're absolutely living for everyone's behind the scenes
- 9:36Speaker 1: at Coachella because everyone just needs a bit of light
- 9:38Speaker 1: and a bit of fun at the moment with everything
- 9:40Speaker 1: that's going on in the world. Can we patent the
- 9:41Speaker 1: term kicked in the dick? Because I feel like we're
- 9:43Speaker 1: the only people who say it. I've heard us say
- 9:45Speaker 1: it so many times in our podcast. If we ever
- 9:47Speaker 1: bring out merch, it's got to have kicked in the
- 9:49Speaker 1: dick on it or something. After months of speculation, Tara
- 9:53Speaker 1: Pavlovich has confirmed she has separated from her husband, Nick Shepardson.
- 9:57Speaker 1: The former Bachelor contestant said she doesn't believe in love
- 10:01Speaker 1: anymore following the split. Now, before we get into it, Soap,
- 10:04Speaker 1: can you give us a quick relationship breakdown? Yeah, so
- 10:07Speaker 1: for some background.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Tara.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Was on Maddie J's season of The Bachelor, which if
- 10:11Speaker 1: you can believe was filmed back in 2017. She was
- 10:14Speaker 1: such a legend on there. She was one of my
- 10:16Speaker 1: favorite contestants. She was really funny. Now, she first went
- 10:19Speaker 1: public about her relationship with Nick in August 2018. And
- 10:23Speaker 1: it was quite controversial at the time because it was
- 10:25Speaker 1: just two months after she separated from her fiance, Sam Cochran,
- 10:29Speaker 1: who she met on Bachelor in Paradise. And it turns
- 10:33Speaker 1: out that Tara and Nick knew each other for 10
- 10:35Speaker 1: years before they actually got into a relationship. Now, they
- 10:38Speaker 1: got married in September 2020 during the pandemic and they
- 10:41Speaker 1: actually made headlines because they fed their guests McDonald's at.
- 10:45Speaker 2: The reception, which I think is just a bit of
- 10:47Speaker 2: a fun fact. Oh, that's iconic. Yeah, that's legendary.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It doesn't surprise me. I follow Tara on socials and
- 10:54Speaker 1: she's so down to earth. I mean, it's not surprising
- 10:57Speaker 1: that she was the fan favourite in the 2017 Bachelor Awards.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And even though it's nearly been 10 years since she
- 11:02Speaker 1: was on The Bachelor, she stayed very relevant across social media.
- 11:06Speaker 1: She's got a following of 200,000 on Instagram. And she's
- 11:10Speaker 1: known now for sharing really relatable mum content. I've enjoyed
- 11:13Speaker 1: a lot of her mum content. It's been popping up
- 11:15Speaker 1: on my feed in the last couple of years. So
- 11:17Speaker 1: I was really sad when I saw this news. Yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 1: because the couple share two kids. So they have a son, Paddy,
- 11:22Speaker 1: who's four, and a daughter, Eddie Ray, who is only three.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So this is a really sad situation. Now, there have
- 11:27Speaker 1: been rumors for a number of months now that Nick
- 11:29Speaker 1: is no longer in the picture. So in February, rumors
- 11:33Speaker 1: started gaining traction when Tara went on a gifted cruise
- 11:36Speaker 1: with her kids and sister, but no Nick. And at
- 11:39Speaker 1: the time, she said he was working and couldn't attend.
- 11:42Speaker 1: But when Tara returned home from the cruise, she shared
- 11:45Speaker 1: a teary Instagram story saying that she was navigating and
- 11:48Speaker 1: trying to work through something in her life that was
- 11:50Speaker 1: making her sad. And from that point, Nick was notably
- 11:53Speaker 1: absent from her Instagram stories and Tara ended up staying
- 11:56Speaker 1: at her best friend's house for a number of days.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Tara also stopped wearing her wedding rings in her Instagram
- 12:02Speaker 1: stories and Another giveaway was that she went and drastically
- 12:06Speaker 1: changed her hair. So she chopped all of her hair off,
- 12:09Speaker 1: which is something that we all seem to do when
- 12:11Speaker 1: we go through a breakup.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And sadly, Tara added more fuel to the rumors when
- 12:16Speaker 1: she uploaded a story on the 29th of March with
- 12:19Speaker 1: the caption, perfect end to one of the shittest days
- 12:21Speaker 1: of my life. Now, many of her followers guessed that
- 12:24Speaker 1: this was the day Nick moved out. And there has
- 12:26Speaker 1: been so much chatter online about this. It would be
- 12:28Speaker 1: so difficult for Tara to navigate. Amber from Influencer Updates
- 12:32Speaker 1: AU said that she has been receiving daily questions about
- 12:35Speaker 1: the couple's relationship status. Yeah, all of the speculation would
- 12:38Speaker 1: be so tough. And there was even more when Tara
- 12:41Speaker 1: uploaded a photo dump from Easter with Nick notably absent again,
- 12:46Speaker 1: which led her to address the speculation on Monday. So
- 12:49Speaker 1: she revealed that the couple were separated in a lengthy post.
- 12:52Speaker 1: She wrote, I know there's been a lot of speculation
- 12:54Speaker 1: about what's been going on in my life lately. So
- 12:57Speaker 1: I wanted to share this in my own words. Nick
- 13:00Speaker 1: and I have separated. This hasn't been a quick or
- 13:03Speaker 1: easy decision. It's something we've been trying to work through
- 13:05Speaker 1: for a long time. And for a while, I honestly
- 13:08Speaker 1: didn't even know what the outcome would be. But after
- 13:11Speaker 1: a lot of thought, I've come to the decision that
- 13:13Speaker 1: this is what's best moving forward. She continued writing, the
- 13:16Speaker 1: last eight months have been incredibly challenging and I know
- 13:19Speaker 1: many of you have probably felt that through my content
- 13:22Speaker 1: as I have been an absolute mess. There's been a
- 13:24Speaker 1: lot happening behind the scenes and a lot I've been
- 13:26Speaker 1: processing privately. Our kids will always be our priority and
- 13:30Speaker 1: everything I've done has been with them at the center
- 13:33Speaker 1: of it. As hard as it is, I truly believe
- 13:35Speaker 1: this is the best thing for them because they deserve
- 13:37Speaker 1: a happy present mom and I finally feel like I'm
- 13:40Speaker 1: getting back to that place. She then explained that her
- 13:43Speaker 1: body has been holding onto excessive stress due to the
- 13:46Speaker 1: marriage breakdown, saying her body is finally at peace and
- 13:49Speaker 1: she can feel it. She backed this up by uploading
- 13:52Speaker 1: a photo from her Garmin watch showing her heart rate,
- 13:55Speaker 1: which had finally become balanced after weeks of it being
- 13:58Speaker 1: low and unbalanced. She then confirmed that she wouldn't be
- 14:01Speaker 1: sharing details of what led to the split, saying she
- 14:04Speaker 1: is an open book, so it's going to be hard
- 14:06Speaker 1: not to share. But there are things that she needs
- 14:08Speaker 1: to keep private out of respect for her kids and
- 14:11Speaker 1: their future as co-parents. She finished off by saying she's
- 14:14Speaker 1: doing okay. And for the first time in a long time,
- 14:17Speaker 1: she feels a sense of peace and she knows it's
- 14:20Speaker 1: the right path forward for her and her family. And
- 14:23Speaker 1: in the caption, she added that she doesn't believe in
- 14:25Speaker 1: love anymore, but hopes one day she will again. Gosh,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I feel so sorry for Tara. It must have been
- 14:31Speaker 1: really hard to address all of that online. I think
- 14:34Speaker 1: it's a good move, though, for her not to share
- 14:36Speaker 1: what actually caused the breakdown, especially for her children. I mean,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I feel like Tara is the type of person that
- 14:43Speaker 1: will actually stick to that as well. I mean, I've
- 14:46Speaker 1: seen a lot of influencers go, oh, I'm not going
- 14:47Speaker 1: to go into any of the nitty gritty. And then
- 14:49Speaker 1: six months down the line, you've heard literally every detail
- 14:53Speaker 1: about their breakup. Because she has released such a lengthy statement,
- 14:56Speaker 1: people are sort of reading between the lines and kind
- 14:58Speaker 1: of adding two and two together. So because she mentioned
- 15:02Speaker 1: that things sort of turned south eight months ago, there
- 15:04Speaker 1: is a lot of speculation that maybe he cheated eight
- 15:07Speaker 1: months ago, or maybe something unforgivable happened eight months ago. Again,
- 15:11Speaker 1: those are just rumors. There's actually no fact to back
- 15:14Speaker 1: that up. See, I find it strange that that's a
- 15:16Speaker 1: conclusion people are coming up with because eight months ago
- 15:19Speaker 1: is quite a long time ago. Like if you said, oh,
- 15:22Speaker 1: what he did to me two weeks ago, you might think, oh, okay,
- 15:25Speaker 1: it's been a knee jerk decision. He's cheated and she said,
- 15:28Speaker 1: get out of the house. The fact that it was
- 15:30Speaker 1: eight months ago, it could be something else. Yeah, but
- 15:33Speaker 1: if you're in a marriage and have two kids and
- 15:35Speaker 1: perhaps cheating goes down, maybe you think, okay, I've got
- 15:37Speaker 1: to give this time, see if I can forgive the person.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Maybe we can move on from the situation. It's not
- 15:43Speaker 1: always going to just be a knee-jerk decision. Yeah, but
- 15:46Speaker 1: to me, referencing eight months doesn't make me think automatically
- 15:49Speaker 1: that it was cheating.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I think there could be a handful of other reasons. Well,
- 15:52Speaker 2: it sounds like something has gone down. Yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Well, on Wednesday, Tara jumped on her Instagram stories to
- 15:57Speaker 1: give more detail about how her co-parenting relationship with Nick
- 16:01Speaker 1: is currently working. So she revealed that they have been
- 16:04Speaker 1: separated now for two weeks and they've agreed to a
- 16:07Speaker 1: five days on, five days off routine with the kids.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So she revealed that they've been separated for two weeks
- 16:13Speaker 1: now and they've agreed to a five days on, five
- 16:16Speaker 1: days off routine with the kids, which I find quite interesting.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So she said it's so weird to have five days
- 16:21Speaker 1: off in a row kid-free and she can't even explain
- 16:24Speaker 1: the amount of time that she has now. She said
- 16:26Speaker 1: she's sorted every aspect of her life out in terms
- 16:29Speaker 1: of organizing her house and cleaning. And she said by
- 16:32Speaker 1: this stage, she's actually quite bored and doesn't know what
- 16:33Speaker 1: to do with herself. I feel like the novelty of
- 16:36Speaker 1: that would wear off really quickly, considering they're only two
- 16:38Speaker 1: weeks in.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It's going to be like, oh, wow, I've got all
- 16:40Speaker 2: this time to myself.
- 16:41Speaker 1: But considering she's been quite open about the fact that
- 16:44Speaker 1: she's heartbroken over the situation... you probably don't want a
- 16:48Speaker 1: lot of time on your own to think about everything
- 16:50Speaker 1: that's just happened.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Well, she actually seemed quite upbeat in the story.
- 16:53Speaker 1: She said that she was really excited because she'd planned
- 16:55Speaker 1: a night out with her friends and she just doesn't
- 16:58Speaker 1: want to sit home and cry about the situation. She
- 17:00Speaker 1: wants to make the most out of it and focus
- 17:03Speaker 1: on the positives, which she said at the moment is
- 17:06Speaker 1: extra time with her friends and extra time to work
- 17:08Speaker 1: out and also concentrate on her own career and And
- 17:12Speaker 1: she said that she's really grateful because she knows that
- 17:14Speaker 1: her kids love being with their dad and he is
- 17:16Speaker 1: a very capable parent. I mean, to me, it seems
- 17:19Speaker 1: like she's trying to make the most of a difficult situation.
- 17:22Speaker 1: She also said that while she finds it really difficult
- 17:25Speaker 1: to say goodbye to her kids for such a big
- 17:27Speaker 1: chunk of time, the time that she now spends with
- 17:30Speaker 1: her children is so much of a higher quality.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So she's more present with them.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Chloe Zepp has opened up about her experience working with
- 17:39Speaker 1: a marriage counsellor. The OG influencer claimed she was speaking
- 17:43Speaker 1: out to help others.
- 17:44Speaker 2: However, it quickly.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Turned into an undisclosed ad. This is probably one of
- 17:49Speaker 1: the strangest videos I've seen on Instagram for a while.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I don't know if it's that Chloe's gotten a bit
- 17:54Speaker 1: rusty after taking such a big social media hiatus or
- 17:58Speaker 1: that perhaps technology has moved too quickly for her.
- 18:02Speaker 2: But when I watched it, it kind of seemed.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Like she was this boomer who had never filmed a
- 18:06Speaker 1: social media video before.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Like the camera kept panning up and falling off this
- 18:11Speaker 2: makeshift tripod. And she spoke as if she'd never been
- 18:15Speaker 2: on camera before. And There was this really loud background
- 18:18Speaker 2: music that was too loud. It was just not good
- 18:21Speaker 2: at all.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Okay, that's what all the old YouTubers used to do.
- 18:23Speaker 1: The music used to always be way too loud in
- 18:26Speaker 1: the background. Yeah, but she evolved from that and now
- 18:28Speaker 1: it's like she's gone back to that. What is it
- 18:30Speaker 1: with influencers not owning tripods for their cameras? It's like
- 18:34Speaker 1: I've balanced you on a ton of cans. It's like
- 18:37Speaker 1: what the fuck? They sell them at Kmart for like $ 10.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I mean– While the production level was low, the content
- 18:45Speaker 1: was quite interesting because Chloe admitted that she and Mitch
- 18:48Speaker 1: wouldn't have had such a tumultuous relationship if they had
- 18:50Speaker 1: actually spoken to a marriage counsellor when they first had
- 18:54Speaker 1: their son, Artie. And if you cast your mind back,
- 18:57Speaker 1: they had Artie in 2019 and it was the era
- 19:00Speaker 1: when Mitch was sleeping in the movie room and they
- 19:02Speaker 1: were always on again, off again. There was clear there
- 19:05Speaker 1: were a lot of issues going on in their relationship.
- 19:08Speaker 1: She also went on to say that she believes every
- 19:10Speaker 1: couple needs to have marriage counselling just before or after
- 19:13Speaker 1: they have kids. I actually think that is not a
- 19:16Speaker 1: bad idea, particularly when you're moving into this massive life stage.
- 19:21Speaker 1: It would be great to have a counsellor sit down
- 19:23Speaker 1: with you and say, look, your life is about to
- 19:25Speaker 1: change and these are ways that you can help each
- 19:27Speaker 1: other and keep communication going. Some couples that Dale and
- 19:31Speaker 1: I know who've recently split up or have split up
- 19:33Speaker 1: over the last couple of years, they've used marriage counselling
- 19:36Speaker 1: as a last resort and often the counsellor says, you
- 19:39Speaker 1: should have come to us a year ago. It's actually... irreversible,
- 19:43Speaker 1: the damage that's been done. Well, not long ago, Tully
- 19:46Speaker 1: Smythe and her boyfriend, Ned, spoke about how they got
- 19:49Speaker 1: a couple counseling pretty early on in their relationship and
- 19:52Speaker 1: they would recommend it to everyone.
- 19:54Speaker 2: It does seem very in vogue. Now, back to Chloe's video.
- 19:57Speaker 1: What started out as this apparently helpful advice to her
- 20:02Speaker 1: followers quickly turned into an ad as she tagged the
- 20:05Speaker 1: marriage counselor in her story and promoted their new course
- 20:09Speaker 1: specifically for couples who have children, it really got rid
- 20:13Speaker 1: of any validity that her initial comments had. Because it's like, well,
- 20:16Speaker 1: are you just doing this so you get.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Free marriage counseling?
- 20:18Speaker 1: Like, I'd love to know the partnership that she's got
- 20:20Speaker 1: going on.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Is it contra?
- 20:22Speaker 1: I don't think that she would put this up in
- 20:24Speaker 1: exchange for just a contra deal. I think this would
- 20:26Speaker 1: have to be a full-blown paid partnership. And as you've
- 20:28Speaker 1: touched on, I think she's a little bit rusty when
- 20:30Speaker 1: it comes to social media. So she hasn't disclosed that
- 20:33Speaker 1: it's a paid partnership. I actually think it could be
- 20:35Speaker 1: a contra deal if you reflect on the past couple
- 20:37Speaker 1: of years for Chloe and Mitch.
- 20:39Speaker 2: They've moved to Newcastle. They're offline a lot.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Mitch has a nine to five job now. Chloe is
- 20:46Speaker 1: a stay at home mom. She shut down her business.
- 20:48Speaker 1: We spoke in length about all of the issues she
- 20:50Speaker 1: had with that business. And I think that they probably go, okay, well,
- 20:55Speaker 1: we need that service. So I'm happy to put up
- 20:57Speaker 1: a quick Instagram story about it. I mean, it's not
- 20:59Speaker 1: the first time the couple have spoken about marriage counseling.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Earlier this year, Mitch actually promoted the same marriage counselor
- 21:06Speaker 1: on his own Instagram stories. And similar to Chloe, he
- 21:10Speaker 1: said that he felt compelled to speak publicly about it
- 21:12Speaker 1: because it had really helped them. Interestingly, he wrote, as
- 21:17Speaker 1: a male, when you hear your partner wants to do
- 21:19Speaker 1: marriage counselling, you assume things are over. But in reality,
- 21:22Speaker 1: it feels like a new beginning. So he made it
- 21:24Speaker 1: quite clear that it was Chloe that was the one
- 21:26Speaker 1: that wanted to do marriage counselling in the first place. Yeah, well,
- 21:30Speaker 1: if they've already got the marriage counselling, why are they, what,
- 21:32Speaker 1: they want another dose of it because things are bad
- 21:34Speaker 1: or they just want to keep it going? Now, the
- 21:37Speaker 1: elephant in the room is that Chloe and Mitch aren't
- 21:39Speaker 1: actually married. They got engaged a couple of years ago,
- 21:41Speaker 1: but they had their children out of wedlock. I mean,
- 21:44Speaker 1: the term wedlock feels like a very old fashioned term.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I only bring that up because they are spruiking a
- 21:48Speaker 1: very Christian life at the moment. And Chloe is trying
- 21:51Speaker 1: to be this sort of Stepford wife. I mean, they
- 21:54Speaker 1: might not officially be married, but let's be real. They're
- 21:57Speaker 1: practically married. They've been together for over 10 years and
- 21:59Speaker 1: they have two kids. So I think if anyone needs
- 22:02Speaker 1: marriage counseling, it's that situation. I don't think It really
- 22:06Speaker 1: matters if they've got a piece of paper. But it
- 22:08Speaker 1: is funny to keep promoting marriage counselling when you're still engaged.
