- 0:01Speaker 1: This is Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous in Depth.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast. I
- 0:10Speaker 1: have two men here with me who do fantastic accents,
- 0:15Speaker 1: and they would like to stay in accents the entire time. Um.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I think that would be very admirable for the people
- 0:22Speaker 1: out there for us to hear like these. Um, this
- 0:23Speaker 1: is how I normally talk, and Justin carries an accent
- 0:27Speaker 1: as well. I'm pretty yeah, I'm just a guy from
- 0:30Speaker 1: Baltimore here. I can't even attempt an accent. But Andrew
- 0:35Speaker 1: is so good. Actually, you know, I've actually been talked
- 0:38Speaker 1: by a lot of people from London that it sounds
- 0:40Speaker 1: pretty legit. So I like, it's like one of my
- 0:42Speaker 1: highest honest, it's amazing if you're picked up girls like
- 0:46Speaker 1: that all the time. So when I used to actually
- 0:49Speaker 1: it's the reason why that was the reason I came
- 0:50Speaker 1: out of the limit like this, because this is my
- 0:53Speaker 1: like trick when I went to When I went out,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I was like, all right, well I'm gonna talk to
- 0:57Speaker 1: this girl and then just do this pretty accident. Hopefully
- 0:59Speaker 1: the from London and she wants to talk to me,
- 1:04Speaker 1: say would work. And then actually one time some girl
- 1:07Speaker 1: pulled a shot on my head because I told him
- 1:10Speaker 1: actually wasn't from there, and she was like, Chicago women,
- 1:14Speaker 1: you gotta love him. Was this before or after Bachelorette? Before? Okay, well,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you're allowed to be in either voice. I probably is
- 1:24Speaker 1: a little like, yeah, you should probably regular because then
- 1:27Speaker 1: we're really weirded out? Is that the guy that was
- 1:30Speaker 1: on our screen? Okay? Well, welcome to an in depth
- 1:34Speaker 1: podcast with Andrew Spencer. Today. Ben is out, so I
- 1:39Speaker 1: am co hosted by Justin Glai is one of Andrew's
- 1:44Speaker 1: best friends. So happy to be here. Thanks for having me.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Thank you. So you guys were doing um in depth
- 1:50Speaker 1: with both of these guys. There are some answers that
- 1:54Speaker 1: you may be wondering throughout either of the podcasts that
- 1:58Speaker 1: kind of pertained to both of them, like you know,
- 2:01Speaker 1: why weren't you the lead or what happened in paradise
- 2:04Speaker 1: with this situation or your friend in that In that case,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure we're answering all the questions between both.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But if there's like a lingering question you're wondering, why
- 2:14Speaker 1: didn't broach it here? Chances are you should probably go
- 2:19Speaker 1: and listen to the other podcast, and you'll probably get
- 2:21Speaker 1: the answer. So I just kind of want to preface that.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And now we're going to dive in with Andrew the
- 2:28Speaker 1: same way that we dived in with Justin in his
- 2:32Speaker 1: in depth. So where were you born and who were
- 2:36Speaker 1: you born to? Oh? Um? I was born in Lake Forest, Illinois, Um,
- 2:42Speaker 1: just outside of Chicago. UM lived there my whole life
- 2:45Speaker 1: pretty much. Um to Phillis. It's my mother's name. Yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 1: she's the best. Um. Yeah, and you know I did. Uh.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I lived in here for a while and moved over
- 2:55Speaker 1: to Europe for four years. So I lived there for
- 2:57Speaker 1: a while. Um, and then I got on the show.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah okay. So he was just telling us in his
- 3:02Speaker 1: British accent that he got on the show because he
- 3:06Speaker 1: was like living in Europe or something, and I'm like, okay,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I don't know whether take you seriously or not. That's
- 3:11Speaker 1: a true story. So um. Well, obviously my cousin's Clay,
- 3:14Speaker 1: who was on The Bachelor, Clay Harbor. You may remember
- 3:17Speaker 1: him from UM, I guess it was like whose season
- 3:20Speaker 1: was he? Becca? Okay, and then um came to I
- 3:24Speaker 1: was actually on that season as well. In his like
- 3:27Speaker 1: pre his intro package, video really chicken. They told me
- 3:32Speaker 1: they wouldn't put the eating scenes in, but I'm just
- 3:33Speaker 1: like grambling down, Well, they'll put the eating scenes in
- 3:37Speaker 1: if you're not a cast member. I'm just freaking my
- 3:40Speaker 1: whole mouth, like this was my big moment and I
- 3:42Speaker 1: just ruined. It's so funny. Okay. But then he became
- 3:45Speaker 1: known with his relationship with Angela in Paradise As was
- 3:50Speaker 1: his big storyline that, yeah, we met her a couple
- 3:53Speaker 1: of times. Okay, so let's go back to Europe. Yeah, so, um,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I played football. You know, I had a chance um
- 4:01Speaker 1: in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns. Got cut and
- 4:04Speaker 1: then you know, I went to another league that was
- 4:07Speaker 1: in the States and that fell through that league and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I was like, all right, well, I don't know what
- 4:12Speaker 1: I really want to do. So then I, um, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I got reached out to and they're playing football in Europe.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I didn't know that. I don't I've never left the country,
- 4:20Speaker 1: so my family just doesn't travel a lot, like besides Clay,
- 4:22Speaker 1: but like you know, my family has always been in
- 4:24Speaker 1: the same spots and I've always wanted to be different.
- 4:27Speaker 1: So I was like, yeah, I hopped on the flight
- 4:29Speaker 1: in like a week after they asked me, and I
- 4:30Speaker 1: was out there in Vienna, Austria. Um. And then I
- 4:34Speaker 1: just loved it so much. I just kept coming back.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And then Clay was like. I was hanging out with
- 4:39Speaker 1: Clay a little bit and they're like, yeah, man, we're
- 4:41Speaker 1: gonna get you on the show. And I was like,
- 4:42Speaker 1: oh whatever. And I had a birthday actually, um, and
- 4:46Speaker 1: I wanted to throw a themed party. I threw up
- 4:48Speaker 1: a Harry Potter party. Well, like the innocence of this
- 4:52Speaker 1: man is so um, and I wanted to, like my
- 4:58Speaker 1: my friends go really hard theme parties. And like we're like,
- 5:02Speaker 1: all right, well for him to do it, we gotta
- 5:03Speaker 1: go hard. I was like, yeah, So I dyed my
- 5:05Speaker 1: hair blonde because I wanted to be Draco Malfoy. Yeah.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I knew his hair was blonde right before the show,
- 5:14Speaker 1: but I never knew until this very moment, because you
- 5:16Speaker 1: want to be Draco. So I'm in a call with
- 5:22Speaker 1: like the Bachelor in producers. I'm like, hey, guys, this
- 5:25Speaker 1: is my natural hair color. Like I'm not blond like
- 5:29Speaker 1: I I you know, I explained to him I had
- 5:31Speaker 1: a birthday party and they loved it. So I think
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's probably what got me on the show. They probably
- 5:35Speaker 1: thought I was like the weird ones. I was kind
- 5:37Speaker 1: of spruce it up. I don't think they had entailed
- 5:40Speaker 1: what was going to actually happen though. So he said,
- 5:43Speaker 1: you were born to Phyllis. Is your dad in the picture?
- 5:46Speaker 1: What's your family? The nuclear family looked like growing up
- 5:51Speaker 1: family is Um, the dad's situation is very different, difficult.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I would say, you know, when I was five, he
- 5:59Speaker 1: got locked up. I haven't seen him. He's been there
- 6:01Speaker 1: since then. It's by like twenty five years. I think
- 6:03Speaker 1: he gets out in a year or so. Um. So
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm very like big mama's boy. I'm a baby of four,
- 6:09Speaker 1: so my mom has been a single parent, so she's
- 6:10Speaker 1: like my hero. So I'm like a really big mom
- 6:13Speaker 1: was in that aspect. Yeah, she's got a lot. I mean, like,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you know, my my brothers were some some bad eggs
- 6:21Speaker 1: at times, but uh, you know, we all played sports
- 6:24Speaker 1: to put us through sports, and um, you know, I've
- 6:26Speaker 1: always carried that like um pressure or like to just
- 6:30Speaker 1: kind of like get my mom out of the situation
- 6:32Speaker 1: or whatever the case may be. So why football was
- 6:35Speaker 1: such a big thing and when football fell through I
- 6:37Speaker 1: was like crushed. I was like, oh my god. And
- 6:39Speaker 1: then um went on the Bachelor. Just for different experiences
- 6:43Speaker 1: and you know, I'm just at the point I was
- 6:44Speaker 1: living in Europe, was like all right, well things are
- 6:46Speaker 1: just you know, I'm living now. You know, I'm doing
- 6:48Speaker 1: some think she's gonna be proud of me just being
- 6:50Speaker 1: able to kind of live a different life and like
- 6:53Speaker 1: this is you know, for not a lot of people
- 6:55Speaker 1: gets to be able to do what I got to do.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Did I get to go on the show and then
- 6:58Speaker 1: now he got on the show and and things. I
- 7:00Speaker 1: took my mom for Christmas to Disney last week, so
- 7:03Speaker 1: the first time we're all going on a vacation together. Um.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So that was really fun. It was really like something
- 7:08Speaker 1: I've always wanted to do. Um. So yeah, I know,
- 7:12Speaker 1: it's just it's been a bit a lot of blessings.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So that's so awesome. So you you have this mentality
- 7:20Speaker 1: that you want to rom com which is amazing because
- 7:22Speaker 1: that's the mentality that I've always had. Why do you
- 7:26Speaker 1: think that's so instilled in your hearts? Oh my mom? Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 1: First of all, I've seen just like the women and
- 7:32Speaker 1: just like the relationships in my in my family are
- 7:35Speaker 1: never strong. Like I'm sitting sitting here and hearing about
- 7:37Speaker 1: how your fans went thirty years. I'm like, oh my god,
- 7:40Speaker 1: like that's you don't understand, like how amazing that is,
- 7:42Speaker 1: like because compared to my family, it's it's always like
- 7:45Speaker 1: single parents. There's a lot of single parents. Um, and
- 7:49Speaker 1: you know, I would always watch movies on the couch
- 7:52Speaker 1: with my mom. Was we're living one one television household
- 7:55Speaker 1: and we're always watching Round Count. She I grew up
- 7:57Speaker 1: on Sleepless in Seattle, and um, you've got mail and
- 8:01Speaker 1: you know, like all the old like really goocy stuff
- 8:04Speaker 1: in Hallmark movies. So and like I said, I was
- 8:06Speaker 1: a mom was what. I was the youngest four, So
- 8:08Speaker 1: I was always clung to mom and just kind of
- 8:10Speaker 1: watching them. I was like, okay. And then as I
- 8:12Speaker 1: got older, I'm like I'm starting to get like my
- 8:15Speaker 1: own little round gund Like I just I just felt
- 8:17Speaker 1: like that was like out of a movie. And those
- 8:19Speaker 1: moments kept happening. I'm just like I love it, like
- 8:21Speaker 1: I need more of it. Give us these moments from
- 8:26Speaker 1: there was a moment um in New Year's Uh, there
- 8:29Speaker 1: was a there was a new Year's I met a girl.
- 8:31Speaker 1: She was the host at a bar and I was like,
- 8:34Speaker 1: oh my god, and like I was like stumbled. I
- 8:37Speaker 1: was like, she's so beautiful whatever, and she like I
- 8:41Speaker 1: was like trying to tell us the seed and she
- 8:42Speaker 1: was like the time, just following me, and I was like, oh,
- 8:45Speaker 1: that was weird. And then she she sits down and um,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I knew one of the one of the waitresses there,
- 8:51Speaker 1: one of my friends. I was like, yo, who is
- 8:53Speaker 1: the girl who's the host? Was like, no way. She
- 8:55Speaker 1: was literally just saying that you were in super cute
- 8:58Speaker 1: and that she like stumbled her words. So I was
- 9:01Speaker 1: like oh. I was like, oh my god. I was like, well,
- 9:03Speaker 1: we'll get her my information. I was gonna go down
- 9:04Speaker 1: there and talk to her, but I think she had
- 9:06Speaker 1: just got off work. Um So I hit her up
- 9:08Speaker 1: on Instagram and I was like, oh, I would love
- 9:10Speaker 1: to like get to see you or whatever, like what's
- 9:12Speaker 1: your number? This and that, And we didn't talk for
- 9:13Speaker 1: like a month or two, and it comes back to
- 9:15Speaker 1: another like New Year's thing for me. I was like,
- 9:19Speaker 1: it was like, are you in the robin cop it?
- 9:22Speaker 1: Literally so it's December thirty one and I'm like I
- 9:25Speaker 1: don't have any plans. I'm like, all right, well I'm
- 9:28Speaker 1: gonna hit this girl up. I forgot all about like
- 9:30Speaker 1: you know, you just get busy and I'm like, hey, um,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I don't know what your plans are. What are you doing?
- 9:34Speaker 1: And me and my boy were just like all my
- 9:37Speaker 1: friends are dating someone or well now they're all married
- 9:40Speaker 1: pretty much, and I'm like scavenging for like what friends
- 9:43Speaker 1: I have that aren't who's a single friend that you
- 9:46Speaker 1: can go out with me? Uh? This is before right before. Um,
- 9:52Speaker 1: so I'm like, all right, I find my boy and
- 9:54Speaker 1: my guy. I was like, yo, you wanna do anything.
- 9:56Speaker 1: He's like, let's have a night. And I was like,
- 9:57Speaker 1: oh that's a great phrase. But I was we're gonna
- 10:00Speaker 1: have a night. And he's like, yeah, my friends are
- 10:02Speaker 1: going to this place called Old Crow and she's like okay. Um.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I asked the girl. I was like where are you going?
- 10:07Speaker 1: And she's like, oh, I'm going to Old Crows. Like,
- 10:09Speaker 1: no freaking way, we we we just got recommended together,
- 10:13Speaker 1: Like we're going there, So I buy a ticket. It's
- 10:15Speaker 1: like I hope to see you there. We get there
- 10:17Speaker 1: at Old Crow later tonight and you know, just having
- 10:20Speaker 1: a good time, like cutting loose. I told you, like
- 10:22Speaker 1: losing track of time. And the guy goes thirty minutes.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Everybody thirty minutes to the ball drop and I'm like,
- 10:28Speaker 1: oh my god, I haven't found her. Like the bar
- 10:31Speaker 1: is packed. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like showing
- 10:33Speaker 1: everyone this is the girl. Go finding the girl, and
- 10:36Speaker 1: like we're on search parties, like these guys are like
- 10:39Speaker 1: shooting out like looking forwards, like, oh, man's all right,
- 10:41Speaker 1: did I couldn't see her? I was like I did
- 10:43Speaker 1: see her either, So like freet it, it's like eleven,
- 10:45Speaker 1: like it's five minutes to the ball. So I get
- 10:49Speaker 1: to the I get to the bar, I'm like, I'm
- 10:51Speaker 1: just gonna pound two drinks, like another year without a
- 10:53Speaker 1: New Year's kiss um. And I turned around and I
- 10:57Speaker 1: see her. She's talking to two guys. I'm like, fun,
- 10:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch my crush kissed two guys or one
- 11:02Speaker 1: of these guys. Like this is painful. So turned back
- 11:06Speaker 1: around whatever, I choked both my drinks, turned back around.
- 11:10Speaker 1: She like sees me, She like moves these guys out
- 11:13Speaker 1: of the way. I've been looking for you all day.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And I was like, no way, I have it searched
- 11:18Speaker 1: for you. Three to one boomed freaking New Year's kiss
- 11:23Speaker 1: right out, Like we said, two works to each other
- 11:25Speaker 1: and the next year we're kissing for New Year's incredible.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah, So that was like that was like
- 11:30Speaker 1: one of my round cons that have happened. I chaired
- 11:33Speaker 1: that moment because it was just really cool. And when
- 11:35Speaker 1: when was this? This was like right before COVID, So
- 11:38Speaker 1: that's why we broke up or stop talking. So if
- 11:41Speaker 1: actually if I'm if I'm tracking. So we've got about
- 11:43Speaker 1: two years ago now this rom come on New Year's.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Last year shot the shot manifested Teddy on New Years.
- 11:50Speaker 1: We got New Year's coming up. I'm stay tuned for
- 12:00Speaker 1: this New Year's goes. Wow, you're gonna be there for
- 12:03Speaker 1: this one? Is this the Jonas brother? Um football games? Okay?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Four days later? So what's the plan for New Year's
- 12:09Speaker 1: And whose d ms are we sliding into this year?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Give us a name that we know? I don't know.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I just kind of wanna, you know, I think I'm
- 12:16Speaker 1: done putting pressure on anything. I kind of want to
- 12:17Speaker 1: meet someone organically, um as much as possible. Obviously, if
- 12:21Speaker 1: someone meets up like that'd be nice. But um, the
- 12:24Speaker 1: more organic, the better, you know. I feel like I've
- 12:26Speaker 1: had more success with women when it just comes like
- 12:30Speaker 1: happens out of natural. Um, the more time I try to, like,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I feel like I suck. I suck when I try
- 12:36Speaker 1: to plan to meet up or be with someone, you know,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I just like it's awkward and if it feels forced
- 12:41Speaker 1: because we know we have like a like a connection
- 12:44Speaker 1: with each other, you know what I mean. So like
- 12:45Speaker 1: when I meet people and we just we don't know
- 12:48Speaker 1: yet and I'm just like fishing to see how what works,
- 12:50Speaker 1: and it starts to land, I'm like, see, this is
- 12:52Speaker 1: one of my best you know what I mean. Like,
- 12:54Speaker 1: had I not gone out on the beach with a plan,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I feel like I would have done so much better. Um,
- 12:58Speaker 1: and we've been a lot more smooth. But like, you know,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I get nervous when I like people, you know, because
- 13:03Speaker 1: I want them to like me and I want to
- 13:05Speaker 1: get to a point where I know where I'm good,
- 13:07Speaker 1: you know what I mean. It's like the first couple
- 13:09Speaker 1: instances I suck, I'm like so bad. So like I'm
- 13:13Speaker 1: just like trying to get to a part where I'm
- 13:15Speaker 1: just like all right. Well, I'm very comfortable now, Like
- 13:17Speaker 1: you know, I'm just shooting my shot and whatever happens happens.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That's kind of like what I'm going into. Um, that's
- 13:22Speaker 1: New Year's with So you've told us last night that
- 13:25Speaker 1: you've been going on a lot of dates and you
- 13:28Speaker 1: don't believe in dinner dates. Explain why, um, and explain
- 13:33Speaker 1: how you're finding these dates, what you're doing on these dates,
- 13:36Speaker 1: and then speak to you know, everybody out there obviously,
- 13:39Speaker 1: but to this man who will be holding the mike,
- 13:41Speaker 1: who says that he hasn't been on a date in
- 13:43Speaker 1: a long long time. Yeah, no, Um, dates are just
- 13:47Speaker 1: like trial runs. And I hate to put it like that,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but like you never know until you do it, like
- 13:51Speaker 1: try it. So I went and tried it, and you know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: if it doesn't work, he's like, hey, this was a
- 13:57Speaker 1: lovely time. You know, I just don't think it'll work.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It's it's not wrong to communicate with women that way,
- 14:02Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like, not everyone I go
- 14:04Speaker 1: on a date with it's coming back with me or
- 14:05Speaker 1: like you know, in that case, you know that's not
- 14:08Speaker 1: the goal for me. Like I told you, I'm like
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm pushing the envelope. I am ready for family. What's
- 14:23Speaker 1: your vetting process, like, you know, for you to decipher
- 14:27Speaker 1: who are you going to go on a date with
- 14:28Speaker 1: or not? You know, how long is that pretty talk
- 14:30Speaker 1: period before you meet up with him in person? Um?
- 14:33Speaker 1: I I don't like to cut. I got cut straight
- 14:36Speaker 1: to the chase. It's like, all right, well, I'm not
- 14:37Speaker 1: gonna sit here in Twitter fingers and wait for you
- 14:40Speaker 1: to respond or play the I'm gonna wait until you know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: five minutes to respond. Like I'm like, hey, let's hang out.
- 14:45Speaker 1: You wanna hang out, Let's go, let's go grab a drink,
- 14:48Speaker 1: or let's you know, let's go for a walk. The
- 14:50Speaker 1: last day I was on we we made a gingerbread house.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Those are the dates I'm doing. That is the most
- 14:57Speaker 1: wholesome thing I've ever That's That's what I told you.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I'm looking for a wholesome woman like and if she
- 15:04Speaker 1: can't make gingerbread houses with me, I mean, it's it's
- 15:07Speaker 1: it's it's probably not gonna seven invited to go over
- 15:09Speaker 1: to the house. Though, So does that have like any
- 15:11Speaker 1: preconceived notion they know it shouldn't. It shouldn't. But if
- 15:15Speaker 1: it's an easier step if we're gonna get there, like
- 15:17Speaker 1: we don't have to, like so you're going to my house,
- 15:20Speaker 1: are already here, you know, so if it does work
- 15:22Speaker 1: out very well then that it's not I'll give you
- 15:25Speaker 1: Uber back to your play. Yeah. No, I mean I
- 15:28Speaker 1: feel like and that's it's just like a different style
- 15:31Speaker 1: of dating. I guess I'm I'm more so typically the
- 15:34Speaker 1: type where like all my vetting process is a little
- 15:36Speaker 1: bit longer because you know, in a lot can get
- 15:39Speaker 1: lost in like translation with a text or you know,
- 15:42Speaker 1: even calling some times. But I don't like to put
- 15:44Speaker 1: myself in situations where I'm like, I'm in person with
- 15:47Speaker 1: this person and I'm not gonna be like I've done
- 15:49Speaker 1: it before, right, And it's just I want to know
- 15:50Speaker 1: that I'm gonna be able to have a good time
- 15:52Speaker 1: with this person. Um, and I just I don't know,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I don't like to throw myself out there and like
- 15:58Speaker 1: you know, like Andrew go and like you know his dates,
- 16:00Speaker 1: like he'll go walk around Chicago with somebody, right, And
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm like, I just don't want to like do that
- 16:04Speaker 1: with somebody that I don't know if I'll be comfortable with.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And I kudos to here. I respect you know you
- 16:08Speaker 1: you you know, you never know until you try it.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But I'm more so like I'm such an introverted extrovert,
- 16:13Speaker 1: Like I loving around people. I'm very social, but I
- 16:16Speaker 1: also value my alone time and I'm cool with just
- 16:18Speaker 1: like chilling and painting in my house by myself. And
- 16:21Speaker 1: then I'm like, okay, Like it takes a lot for
- 16:23Speaker 1: me to be like I want to see this person
- 16:24Speaker 1: in person and like and hang out, you know. I
- 16:26Speaker 1: just like to know people not behind like the phone
- 16:30Speaker 1: for sure, you know, And I can't read emotion. I
- 16:32Speaker 1: have a very good judge of character, I feel like,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and like, once I'm with someone, I can like just
- 16:37Speaker 1: kind of read body language along with their vibes, and
- 16:39Speaker 1: I just know right off the job, we'll see if
- 16:40Speaker 1: I like them or for me. And I think for
- 16:42Speaker 1: you to a big thing for me. And we just
- 16:44Speaker 1: talked about this. I need banter and I can tell
- 16:47Speaker 1: that pretty quickly through you know, texting, calling, whatever, if
- 16:51Speaker 1: you've got that, And chances are if I if I'm
- 16:54Speaker 1: not getting that, like I don't need to hang out
- 16:55Speaker 1: in person because I'm gonna be throwing jokes around and
- 16:58Speaker 1: like if it's just like, you know what I mean,
- 17:00Speaker 1: Like I don't need to be in like that's just
- 17:02Speaker 1: all effort. Though at the end of the day, like banti,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I can't pull that out of somebody. Yeah, And it's
- 17:07Speaker 1: that's that's the thing where I don't I don't want
- 17:09Speaker 1: to waste time because like if I'm sitting here trying
- 17:12Speaker 1: to text, I'm just like wasting time and I don't
- 17:14Speaker 1: want to put energy and effort towards something that's gonna
- 17:16Speaker 1: be How often is it, you know, you meet it
- 17:19Speaker 1: Like let's say you're like, hey, let's walk around in Chicago, right,
- 17:21Speaker 1: and within the first five attemptage like this in there?
- 17:24Speaker 1: You know, how do you get yourself out of those situations? Yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I mean obviously, you know you just kind of just
- 17:29Speaker 1: at that point, I'm like, all right, well I just
- 17:30Speaker 1: gained a new friend, you know what I mean, And
- 17:32Speaker 1: you just try to be there and try to be
- 17:34Speaker 1: like a good friend and try to enjoy the moment
- 17:36Speaker 1: when you can. And you know, obviously I'm like, hey,
- 17:38Speaker 1: I got some things that come up I gotta get
- 17:39Speaker 1: to and um, I think if we had a really
- 17:41Speaker 1: good time, Um, I'll see you around blah blah, blah
- 17:44Speaker 1: like that those and if that girl, you know, she's like, hey,
- 17:47Speaker 1: I had a great time. You know, let's sit the
- 17:48Speaker 1: next I had a great time. Would you want to
- 17:49Speaker 1: do this again? Like and like, well, maybe we can
- 17:53Speaker 1: do it again. But like usually I would like put
- 17:55Speaker 1: it into a point where we're like she knows that
- 17:57Speaker 1: it's just like a friend raise and I feel like,
- 18:00Speaker 1: don't do that. I won't do that in front of
- 18:01Speaker 1: her completely. I think you'd be like, yeah, I just
- 18:04Speaker 1: think we're better off as friends, you know what I mean,
- 18:05Speaker 1: rather than like going into him that I I there's
- 18:09Speaker 1: no like letting someone down easy. I think we we
- 18:12Speaker 1: try to cover up so many people's feelings sometimes, Like
- 18:15Speaker 1: it's just like it's okay to be like all right,
- 18:17Speaker 1: well we'll be good friends, you know. I mean, you
- 18:19Speaker 1: don't want to be friends with me, that's fine. I
- 18:20Speaker 1: have my friends. How are you finding most of these
- 18:24Speaker 1: ladies to go on dates? Um so I'm on riya um,
- 18:27Speaker 1: which is a really cool app Um. So it's like sorry,
- 18:33Speaker 1: um no, yeah, sorry, but no, but it's like it's
- 18:38Speaker 1: the easiest way because I don't, like I don't go
- 18:39Speaker 1: out as much as I used to. Um, you know,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it's just a lot different now, like everyone's always watching,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and it's hard with dates as well or getting to
- 18:47Speaker 1: know people because people will like see you and like
- 18:49Speaker 1: take photos from across the bar, like oh, Andrew's talking
- 18:52Speaker 1: to a girl. I'm like, I can't have that. I
- 18:55Speaker 1: hate it. I feel like that also is a factor
- 18:58Speaker 1: into my hesits patian to go out and date people,
- 19:02Speaker 1: because that's why I don't do dinner dates because yeah,
- 19:05Speaker 1: that's so intimate. Like if I do all these other dates,
- 19:08Speaker 1: it's like, all right, well we're doing this, this, we're
- 19:11Speaker 1: having fun, we're doing activities, we're walking around, Like those
- 19:13Speaker 1: are different compared to um sitting down with someone and
- 19:17Speaker 1: it's very intimate and like I think that's a date
- 19:18Speaker 1: three or date four thing I'll do. But also like
- 19:21Speaker 1: I don't want someone seeing me eat, like like we
- 19:25Speaker 1: just met, Like he really doesn't like people seeing me. No,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I don't, like, like I'm gonna, like you want me
- 19:31Speaker 1: to talk about this while I'm eating, Like it's so
- 19:33Speaker 1: hard to talk and eat, like do I cover my mouth?
- 19:36Speaker 1: You know, it's just too much like to worry about,
- 19:38Speaker 1: like come on now. So we went to a nice
- 19:40Speaker 1: restaurant last night, and um Andrew said, I'm not a
- 19:45Speaker 1: restaurant guy. I'm not. I don't know what to order.
- 19:48Speaker 1: That's so much pressure. And then like she's like, oh,
- 19:50Speaker 1: let's get a wine. I'm like wine, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 1: what do you like? He's not the guy that will say, oh,
- 19:58Speaker 1: this appetizer looks nice for the table, let's share. And
- 20:01Speaker 1: then Justin said that I think it was you you
- 20:04Speaker 1: said it was awkward, the awkward silence looking at the
- 20:06Speaker 1: menu and trying to decide what you want while on
- 20:08Speaker 1: a date. Yeah, because like if I'm at dinner, I
- 20:11Speaker 1: want to have conversation, and then the waiter waitress comes
- 20:13Speaker 1: over and I'm like, i haven't look at the menu, bex.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'm trying to make it not awkward. And then if
- 20:16Speaker 1: it's like a first dame, we're just both stre to
- 20:18Speaker 1: the menu. I know we're both thinking about how silent
- 20:20Speaker 1: and awkward it is, but I'm like, I want to
- 20:21Speaker 1: see what I want to get. Don't do dinner dates,
- 20:23Speaker 1: but on the type or I'm like, I'm always down
- 20:25Speaker 1: to eat, right, So even if I'm like, hey, let's
- 20:27Speaker 1: grab drinks, right, I kind of like hedge my bet
- 20:30Speaker 1: and like I'll have something light before I go on
- 20:32Speaker 1: the diate to eat, you know, and then I'll go
- 20:35Speaker 1: on the date because I don't want if the girl's like,
- 20:38Speaker 1: I'll be like, hey, are you hungry? I always like
- 20:39Speaker 1: are you you want to get something? Because I don't
- 20:41Speaker 1: want it to be this like if she hasn't eaten
- 20:42Speaker 1: yet and she wants to get something, like, let's do it.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I love a girl that can eat, you know, don't
- 20:47Speaker 1: like good you know, you know, so I'll like I'll
- 20:50Speaker 1: eat enough just to like kind of cook the stomach.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But I'm like, I could eat, you know, I'm always down.
- 20:54Speaker 1: That's I can started drinks. But if we're but if
- 20:58Speaker 1: like we can we can turn it into something, you
- 20:59Speaker 1: know what I mean. Like I never want to come
- 21:01Speaker 1: off as like a oh he does, like we're just
- 21:03Speaker 1: like you know, I don't want her to feel awkward
- 21:04Speaker 1: or hungry. It's like or whatever you want, you know
- 21:06Speaker 1: what I mean, Like we're good here. And I also
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm a huge fan of double dates or like just
- 21:11Speaker 1: friends on dates. He was on my last date. It's
- 21:14Speaker 1: it makes it so much easier because we can kind
- 21:18Speaker 1: of like he knows, like we can bounce off each
- 21:19Speaker 1: other and like I can kind of like pick up anything.
- 21:22Speaker 1: She's like, She's like, I had no idea he was here,
- 21:24Speaker 1: was like, yeah, well he is, we can just was
- 21:28Speaker 1: this a second day like us? She loved it so
- 21:33Speaker 1: much first day, she loved it so much that she
- 21:35Speaker 1: we did a second date the next day. He was
- 21:36Speaker 1: also there, so is Greg. And here's what they did.
- 21:39Speaker 1: They made and they made me kiss her in front
- 21:42Speaker 1: of them. She's like, she's like like, so, I think
- 21:46Speaker 1: you guys should kiss. Have you guys had a first
- 21:48Speaker 1: kiss you? So first let's let's let's start. So first
- 21:51Speaker 1: day we're literally we're in New York and we're in Soho.
- 21:53Speaker 1: We're just shopping around. He's like, hey, I'm about to
- 21:56Speaker 1: have a date. I was like, what, you leave me.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He's like, no, she's gonna come meet up with us.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And that that's such andrew thing, like when he like
- 22:01Speaker 1: he literally like like activities is like his his thing.
- 22:05Speaker 1: So she was cool enough to like just literally hang
- 22:07Speaker 1: out with us in shop all day because at the
- 22:09Speaker 1: end of the day, like my my my my person
- 22:11Speaker 1: is gonna have to be with my friends. Like if
- 22:14Speaker 1: anyone's gonna know, my friends are gonna know, you know,
- 22:16Speaker 1: soon as she pulls hip across stream, like, so what
- 22:17Speaker 1: are you thinking? Man? I'm like, hey, man, she got potential,
- 22:23Speaker 1: see the personality. And then midway through I'm like, and
- 22:28Speaker 1: then she came out. She had bear s accent. She's
- 22:31Speaker 1: from the UK, and he had to she was he
- 22:33Speaker 1: was how easily he went out the British accents this kids,
- 22:39Speaker 1: I've ever seen him because he had an authentic British woman.
- 22:43Speaker 1: And he was like, I don't know, she might call
- 22:45Speaker 1: me out. And she was talking about when people She's like,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I hate when people try to use the pretty sacs
- 22:50Speaker 1: in me. I was like, oh, he's waiting it for
- 22:53Speaker 1: like two hours. He wouldn't do it, so he wouldn't
- 22:56Speaker 1: got hot chocolate like these little these chocolate chip things
- 22:59Speaker 1: and you know, really cool three persons. And then and
- 23:02Speaker 1: then we got dinner and Greg was there and literally
- 23:04Speaker 1: out of nowhere, Greg's like, so, what are your intentions
- 23:06Speaker 1: with Andrew? So now she's all nervous and he goes
- 23:11Speaker 1: and so I'm like, we're gonna get this started. I'm like,
- 23:14Speaker 1: and no, tell me how do you feel about her friend?
- 23:15Speaker 1: And she's like, okay, we're not doing this. I was like, no,
- 23:17Speaker 1: we are Greg goes, I think you should kiss and
- 23:20Speaker 1: now Andrews like, I hate you guys, Like this is
- 23:23Speaker 1: why I hate. I go, I go, and she's not saying,
- 23:26Speaker 1: she's not like no no, I'm like, well, Andrew seems
- 23:27Speaker 1: like she's pretty into it. And now he's a nervous
- 23:31Speaker 1: one and she was waiting on it. She was like,
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm like, well she hasn't objected, and she's like, I said, Andrew,
- 23:36Speaker 1: you better go ahead. And so he's like, I'm not
- 23:38Speaker 1: doing this for you guys. He's like, I don't think
- 23:39Speaker 1: guys have ever seen me kiss. I said, well, no time,
- 23:41Speaker 1: like the President. I was like, well, we definitely wrote
- 23:43Speaker 1: a show together. So I kid, I haven't seen your kids.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Like he was like, you guys haven't seen me kiss,
- 23:47Speaker 1: like not on camera. I was like, well, don't telling
- 23:50Speaker 1: the president. And she's you could tell she's weight because
- 23:52Speaker 1: she has a personality where she'd be like no, no, no,
- 23:54Speaker 1: but she was. She was, she very she was she
- 23:57Speaker 1: was like waiting on it. She's that's like a this
- 24:00Speaker 1: European thing. They're they're like very not and so they
- 24:03Speaker 1: don't get nervous about stuff like that. So she was ready.
- 24:06Speaker 1: So I didn't anywhere. He's just like, come here, and
- 24:09Speaker 1: then me and Greg are like and it was a longer.
- 24:13Speaker 1: It was a long kiss. I was like I was
- 24:14Speaker 1: in it, and it wasn't like a pack. It was
- 24:16Speaker 1: like we were explaining like a little peck, like allright,
- 24:19Speaker 1: like oh, we were like oh. We turned away and
- 24:23Speaker 1: I walked her out and then she like text me.
- 24:25Speaker 1: She was like fireworks. I was like, yes, So the
- 24:31Speaker 1: next time we're in New York, are you going to
- 24:32Speaker 1: see her again? Ill? Yeah, we'll see I mean fireworks
- 24:36Speaker 1: and then we'll see Please explain the description younger than me.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I think we're going to be for New Year's as well.
- 24:42Speaker 1: So she works, she works on working New Year's. Yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 1: well we're just like I said, we're just you know,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I haven't been like swept off my feet yet. Um
- 24:56Speaker 1: it was a date. You know, we went on two dates.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And I can't tell one of this situation that you have,
- 25:02Speaker 1: Like bringing her on group first dates is totally disarming
- 25:06Speaker 1: and so fun. And when bring out the best of
- 25:09Speaker 1: my personality or if it brings so much pressure to
- 25:12Speaker 1: impress multiple people, I can figure it out exactly. Takes
- 25:15Speaker 1: the pressure off of me. So then so then like
- 25:20Speaker 1: if she's like nervous, like that's good. Like that's that's
- 25:22Speaker 1: where I get to be like, all right, let me
- 25:24Speaker 1: call in the situation make you feel better, Like I
- 25:26Speaker 1: can like make this like ease you into this, you
- 25:28Speaker 1: know what I mean, rather than like all the pressure
- 25:31Speaker 1: is always on the guy wouldn't go on dates. It's like,
- 25:33Speaker 1: all right, now you gotta hold the conversation. Now I
- 25:35Speaker 1: can like banter with him, and then she can make
- 25:37Speaker 1: comments off of you. And it's and it's also not
- 25:39Speaker 1: like I feel like it depends on the friend dynamic
- 25:41Speaker 1: as well, because if I walked into a situation with
- 25:43Speaker 1: two women, like and it's like one of those one
- 25:46Speaker 1: of the women's like trying to grill me right, and
- 25:47Speaker 1: I'm like, this is a lot of pressure. But he
- 25:49Speaker 1: knows like I'm gonna try to make her feel comfortable
- 25:50Speaker 1: and I'm gonna trying to bring out the best in
- 25:52Speaker 1: him so she can see him at his fullest self.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You know. Like that's like the stand office. You're like,
- 25:58Speaker 1: so like what do you do? Like what Like I'm like, no,
- 26:01Speaker 1: like see us in banter and like fit in. You know.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Greg's up. Greg's a friend that thinks he's Kevin Hart
- 26:07Speaker 1: when remember there's a girl around for me, he's he
- 26:12Speaker 1: has to pull out all the jokes. Okay, dude, he's
- 26:16Speaker 1: this sidekick Frost, Like when when we're with Trey, Oh
- 26:21Speaker 1: my god. So when I brought them to Baltimore, right,
- 26:24Speaker 1: we met, you know, we were down on the field,
- 26:26Speaker 1: we we went in the tunnel, we met. All the
- 26:27Speaker 1: cheerleaders were taking pictures right and you and Greg goes
- 26:32Speaker 1: so um, ladies, Tray has actually performed a rehearse to
- 26:36Speaker 1: dance routine. He's like performed for you all right now,
- 26:38Speaker 1: and trades like what he goes, No, Tray, don't be nervous.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Show him your routine and he will put you on
- 26:43Speaker 1: the spot when in front of girls. He did that
- 26:46Speaker 1: birthday Natalie Andrew has his birthday dance. He wants to
- 26:51Speaker 1: show and like there's like so many people like intuitive
- 26:54Speaker 1: like listening really listening to Greg here, and I'm like
- 26:58Speaker 1: not paying attention, like like what are you talking about?
- 27:02Speaker 1: So I'm starting to understand the couple that is Victoria
- 27:06Speaker 1: and Greg now more hearing more about Gregg's personality because
- 27:09Speaker 1: it seems like Victoria than him have very similar senses.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Of humor. Yeah, they do. They really do. Like one
- 27:15Speaker 1: thing that you people don't understand, Like Victoria is funny,
- 27:18Speaker 1: She's hilarious, Like she's got like this edgy like kind
- 27:22Speaker 1: of dark humor, but like this like sinister like chefs.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I don't know that I know of any bachelor friend
- 27:32Speaker 1: group that like is so close as you guys, like
- 27:37Speaker 1: we have are really close friends, you know, like people
- 27:40Speaker 1: like at our bridal party that will be friends with forever.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But like you guys have a crew and you guys
- 27:45Speaker 1: do everything together everything, Like I always say, like everybody eats,
- 27:49Speaker 1: you know. We we like same pr manager, same deals.
- 27:52Speaker 1: If we get a deal, like hey, can I bring
- 27:54Speaker 1: my friends on on this? Like that's just kind of
- 27:56Speaker 1: how we operates. Like I mean, it's like we're trying
- 27:59Speaker 1: to COMPLI were we trying coup which it's called the
- 28:01Speaker 1: couple's retreat now. So we want to get like the
- 28:04Speaker 1: holy trinity of you know, we want to be able
- 28:06Speaker 1: to get to a nice spot with our people like
- 28:09Speaker 1: you know, and be like with each other. Here's some
- 28:11Speaker 1: more hopeless romantic from Andrew. We're literally I mean we
- 28:13Speaker 1: love traveling together. Um, and I'm so fortunate to come
- 28:16Speaker 1: across some friends that also love trial, like we just
- 28:18Speaker 1: we do so much together, and we were talking about
- 28:20Speaker 1: what our next international trip is going to be, Like, Hey,
- 28:23Speaker 1: how about Greece. Andrew's no, I'm saving that from my
- 28:25Speaker 1: future wife. He's like, I won't go to Greece until
- 28:27Speaker 1: I'm until it's the honeymoon or a couple of strip
- 28:29Speaker 1: or something like that. I'm like, all right, another like
- 28:31Speaker 1: Greg's got one, like the pressures on, because like we're
- 28:33Speaker 1: dying to do like a couple's trip. Yes, yes, like
- 28:37Speaker 1: we are. We are holding the group back right now.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I think it's more so I'm trying. I just can't.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I can't. I can't find I don't know what I'm
- 28:46Speaker 1: looking for, but and I won't force it. So like
- 28:48Speaker 1: that's what I'm going on in these states. I'm like
- 28:50Speaker 1: I need to like I need to be more at
- 28:51Speaker 1: and like I'm getting older. I feel like I don't
- 28:53Speaker 1: want to be like an older dad. I don't want
- 28:55Speaker 1: to be like thet with a newborn. Probably want to
- 28:59Speaker 1: be five with the newborn. How old are you? Yeah, okay,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I mean you're at a great age right now until
- 29:04Speaker 1: find your person. But I promise you as somebody who
- 29:07Speaker 1: has eleven month old, Like you can enjoy time with
- 29:12Speaker 1: your wife when you find her for a while, because
- 29:14Speaker 1: it will never be the same. I just you know,
- 29:18Speaker 1: you know, obviously obviously, like I said earlier, like not
- 29:21Speaker 1: having a dad usually in my life, That's just what
- 29:24Speaker 1: I'm super excited about. Like, you know, I just wanna,
- 29:29Speaker 1: you know, I want to be able to be in
- 29:31Speaker 1: shape to whoop his ass in like basketball. You know,
- 29:34Speaker 1: there's no way he's gonna beat me in anything. So
- 29:36Speaker 1: do you have a girl her too? You don't matter,
- 29:40Speaker 1: that's not We're gonna be a tough family, Like it
- 29:42Speaker 1: doesn't matter what it is. We're gonna be competitive and repeat,
- 29:45Speaker 1: and uh, you know, I just want to push them
- 29:47Speaker 1: to be their best and I want to be there
- 29:48Speaker 1: for them, um when they do their best. So like
- 29:50Speaker 1: that's kind of what I want to do. Oh Andrew,
- 29:53Speaker 1: you are just like the sweetest, sweetest thing ever you
- 30:00Speaker 1: it is. You're just making everybody so mad. You're not
- 30:02Speaker 1: the bachelor. All right, Well, let's talk about your romance
- 30:10Speaker 1: or lack thereof with Teddy. So you slide because you
- 30:19Speaker 1: thought there was a fairy tale possibly there. You're wrong.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Com was possibly there. It was a New Year's Eve
- 30:24Speaker 1: DM that you center. You said, hey, our crowd, our
- 30:28Speaker 1: paths are probably going to cross at some point, like
- 30:32Speaker 1: you didn't want to get into it because you looking
- 30:35Speaker 1: forward to it. Yeah, and I think like the response
- 30:38Speaker 1: was so like receptive of that, and I loved it,
- 30:42Speaker 1: and I was like like, damn, I just want to
- 30:44Speaker 1: like talk to her now like I wanted to, just
- 30:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't skip Paradise to at least try it outside
- 30:50Speaker 1: before even going down. Um. So yeah, you know, Paradise
- 30:55Speaker 1: didn't go as planned, but you know that's fine. We
- 30:58Speaker 1: just keep moving on. But how much pressure it was
- 31:11Speaker 1: there when you actually met face to face which was
- 31:13Speaker 1: on Paradise. See, it wasn't the pressure that I thought
- 31:16Speaker 1: I put on the pressure, That's what I mean, like
- 31:18Speaker 1: you put pressure on yourself. It wasn't like the fan
- 31:21Speaker 1: they were a little bit, but the fandom got the
- 31:24Speaker 1: fandom was more than the pressure I put on because um,
- 31:29Speaker 1: like the shipping started happening in the podcast started happening.
- 31:32Speaker 1: So actually no, it was producers. Producers put way more
- 31:35Speaker 1: pressure on us than anyone. It was like, um, I
- 31:39Speaker 1: would get into interviews or I would walk around and
- 31:42Speaker 1: get calls like are you ready for Teddy? And I'm like,
- 31:44Speaker 1: like Jesus, guys, like I don't know if it's gonna
- 31:47Speaker 1: work yet, Like yeah, it's like okay, like we know,
- 31:51Speaker 1: but you don't have to say it like that, you know,
- 31:53Speaker 1: And I think it just got to be so much,
- 31:58Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I will I will share
- 32:01Speaker 1: this one thing. This is this. Not a lot of
- 32:03Speaker 1: people know this. So she did text me right before
- 32:06Speaker 1: we went off to the beach and she was just like,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I know there's a lot of pressure surrounding us, and
- 32:11Speaker 1: I just want to let you know, like I know you're,
- 32:12Speaker 1: like you said, you've interested in a lot of other girls,
- 32:14Speaker 1: like I do hope that I just don't want you
- 32:16Speaker 1: to know like that you can go after whoever you want,
- 32:18Speaker 1: like there's no like expectation and just only be for me.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, I appreciate that, Yeah exactly,
- 32:23Speaker 1: you know, I, like I said, I want to be chosen.
- 32:25Speaker 1: So we had that conversation before we even got on
- 32:27Speaker 1: the beach. Not a lot of people know that, um,
- 32:30Speaker 1: which could have been a flag. I was like, I
- 32:35Speaker 1: could have been like something maybe I knew something like that,
- 32:38Speaker 1: or maybe she was just like feeling overwhelmed with everything,
- 32:41Speaker 1: and I think that's a lot of it, and like,
- 32:42Speaker 1: here's the thing. I I think that's where I messed up.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I think, which was so out of pocket and and
- 32:48Speaker 1: different for me, is I I bought into the hype.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I bought into, you know, the TV aspect of everything,
- 32:55Speaker 1: and I don't think she ever was there for that.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And you know, like that's where I was like I
- 33:00Speaker 1: failed because I feel like she genuinely wanted to find
- 33:04Speaker 1: like a real connection between us two and it didn't happen.
- 33:08Speaker 1: And I think I wasn't myself truthfully because I was
- 33:11Speaker 1: like like, oh, we gotta have this big moment here
- 33:14Speaker 1: or this big moment here, And like honestly, when she left,
- 33:18Speaker 1: I was like I started remembering like the small moments
- 33:20Speaker 1: that were so valuable that I overlooked and like we're
- 33:23Speaker 1: so great that, um, we're so stuck in this like
- 33:27Speaker 1: looking for this like fairy tale, but like looking for
- 33:30Speaker 1: the big like firework moment like we never had that,
- 33:33Speaker 1: we never had that like click, but like just like
- 33:36Speaker 1: thinking about all the small moments and I was like,
- 33:38Speaker 1: oh my god, those are great, Like those are the
- 33:39Speaker 1: ones I actually want really in real life, and I
- 33:42Speaker 1: think I like skipped so many steps and trying to
- 33:45Speaker 1: hit this home run and get like straight to like
- 33:47Speaker 1: Brandon Serene, you know what I mean. And I'm like,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I think that might I think I might have scared
- 33:53Speaker 1: her in a way where I'm just like that's like,
- 33:55Speaker 1: you know, well, we're not Brandon Serene, Like it's not
- 33:57Speaker 1: gonna work, you know what I mean. I think that
- 34:00Speaker 1: was a lot with Jared. Like Jared was coming off
- 34:03Speaker 1: of Caitlin the season where he had so many these big, sweeping,
- 34:06Speaker 1: romantic moments and he's expecting the same thing. So when
- 34:09Speaker 1: he wasn't getting those that with me, he kind of
- 34:12Speaker 1: like wrote it off. And then you slowly discovered that
- 34:16Speaker 1: it's like the little things that doesn't have to be
- 34:18Speaker 1: this this rom com without the small details in between.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Because Teddy is an amazing girl. Um, I don't think
- 34:25Speaker 1: a lot of people know, like she's way funnier than
- 34:27Speaker 1: I gave her credit for it, Like not like I
- 34:29Speaker 1: just didn't notice that from Clayton season, so I didn't know,
- 34:32Speaker 1: like and honestly, she carried a lot of the conversations
- 34:36Speaker 1: like I was drawn up blanks. I was like, oh,
- 34:37Speaker 1: my god, I don't know what to do. Like I
- 34:38Speaker 1: told you, when I like a like person, like I
- 34:40Speaker 1: like fail. So I was like, there's a lot of
- 34:43Speaker 1: situations where I was just like, oh my god, what
- 34:44Speaker 1: am I doing? What am I doing? When I doing it?
- 34:46Speaker 1: And she was like so yeah, this and this and this,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and she would always talk about real stuff like her
- 34:51Speaker 1: life and what family was, like what that was going on.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, those are great, And I
- 34:56Speaker 1: was like, oh, so, what do you want to do
- 34:57Speaker 1: with like like you know, love style, like lovely. I
- 35:00Speaker 1: don't know. I was just not like talking about the
- 35:03Speaker 1: real stuff. And you know, I'm just very disappointed and
- 35:06Speaker 1: like how I just operated things that could have done better.
- 35:08Speaker 1: And I think, um, I think I drove her away
- 35:12Speaker 1: or anything. Yeah, but at the same time, I feel
- 35:14Speaker 1: like you guys just weren't it. Like that just wasn't
- 35:16Speaker 1: your girl. You weren't her guy. And I haven't really
- 35:19Speaker 1: said this, but when we sat down there and I
- 35:21Speaker 1: met all the girls and we had like our little
- 35:22Speaker 1: girl pow out, she said that she felt like something
- 35:25Speaker 1: was missing. And then and then last night you told
- 35:28Speaker 1: me separately totally not knowing that that that you said
- 35:31Speaker 1: the same thing about her. You were like, I really
- 35:33Speaker 1: wanted it, but I you said that like it felt wrong,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and then she left and then you were like, oh wait,
- 35:38Speaker 1: I want but I wanted, I wanted, I feel it.
- 35:40Speaker 1: And I think it's just because to possibly was just
- 35:43Speaker 1: like one of those moments where you were just like,
- 35:45Speaker 1: I want one I can't have. Yeah no, I said
- 35:47Speaker 1: that as well. I said, I said it was I
- 35:49Speaker 1: want what I can't have. But it was just more
- 35:51Speaker 1: so this like the the passion and just like how
- 35:56Speaker 1: much she didn't want to hurt me and the fact
- 35:58Speaker 1: that like I was like, Okay, well you care, that's one,
- 36:00Speaker 1: but like why couldn't we just communicate that, Like if
- 36:04Speaker 1: we would have just communicated just more deeper level, like
- 36:07Speaker 1: on that on that level, um, it just felt like
- 36:10Speaker 1: that's that was what I was kind of missing, was
- 36:13Speaker 1: that kind of thing. I think both of you knew
- 36:14Speaker 1: it wasn't it, but I think you were more willing
- 36:16Speaker 1: to see it through and give it more chances. And
- 36:19Speaker 1: I mean I know him, and like even as a bystander,
- 36:22Speaker 1: I kind of like, you know, keep an eye peeled,
- 36:24Speaker 1: like what are they up to? And I I had
- 36:26Speaker 1: a feeling I was like, this isn't it because I
- 36:28Speaker 1: know him and I know when he's in he never
- 36:31Speaker 1: like he did he was he never seemed like himself.
- 36:34Speaker 1: You know, he'd come back and I was, you know
- 36:35Speaker 1: from what I you know, briefly saw her and in
- 36:38Speaker 1: our interaction she was great, and you know he's great,
- 36:40Speaker 1: and I'm just like two people can be great, but
- 36:41Speaker 1: that doesn't mean that they're great for each other. And
- 36:43Speaker 1: I remember going back up to the bunks and I'd
- 36:45Speaker 1: be like, how you feeling right? That was waiting to
- 36:48Speaker 1: see if I'm like right, and he's like something like
- 36:50Speaker 1: that like X factors missing and he's like yeah, I'm
- 36:53Speaker 1: like dude, I was like I can see it, like
- 36:55Speaker 1: it's something that's just not there. I'm like, you're not
- 36:57Speaker 1: being yourself, Like like I don't know, she's not like
- 37:00Speaker 1: this isn't fun, Andrew. This isn't like you know the Andrew.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I'm like, I just couldn't get I couldn't read it.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I couldn't read her. And all I knew was it
- 37:07Speaker 1: wasn't like it wasn't clicking um and like I just
- 37:11Speaker 1: couldn't There's nothing, and I was gonna try, Like I
- 37:14Speaker 1: was like, hey, I but there was so much hype
- 37:16Speaker 1: and pressure built up around Like we would talk every
- 37:18Speaker 1: day before Paradise and he's like he's like, he's like, man,
- 37:22Speaker 1: like I'm going in, I'm proposing. He's like, I ain't
- 37:25Speaker 1: gonna do the He's like, I ain't gonna do the
- 37:29Speaker 1: typical one of the beach proposal. He's like, I'm talking
- 37:31Speaker 1: to the producers. Yeah that's we're gonna go to some
- 37:34Speaker 1: jungle and we're gonna do it. No no, no, no no,
- 37:36Speaker 1: no no, And that's what I'm saying, Like I was,
- 37:39Speaker 1: there was so I was overthinking. I was skipping steps
- 37:43Speaker 1: to where line. That's where I'm like, yeah, I over like.
- 37:47Speaker 1: That was on me because I was looking far past
- 37:50Speaker 1: where we were actually at and it was bad. But yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 1: that is really funny. So I did. I did talk
- 37:56Speaker 1: to her. I was like, Hey, if I'm gonna get engaged,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get on a knee where other people
- 38:01Speaker 1: have gotten out. I want you guys to fly us
- 38:03Speaker 1: out of similar romantic place. Then I'll get on a knee.
- 38:06Speaker 1: But this's gonna have his rom com ending one way
- 38:11Speaker 1: or another. So how do you see your proposal one day? Um,
- 38:20Speaker 1: honestly now, it's like just tailored to the person that
- 38:23Speaker 1: I meant. I feel like I'll read the room with that,
- 38:25Speaker 1: not a lot of people like all that big flashy stuff. Um,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and like I just didn't want to do the same
- 38:32Speaker 1: thing as everyone else on the beach. I'm like, hey,
- 38:34Speaker 1: you're way more deserving of something else, and I'm not
- 38:38Speaker 1: gonna give you what other people have given. But what
- 38:40Speaker 1: if Serene, here's this, that's fine. I mean like just no, no,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, go ahead, you don't do your You
- 38:45Speaker 1: guys did your thing like me. I'm like, hey, you're
- 38:50Speaker 1: my person, so I'm gonna go above and beyond. It's
- 38:52Speaker 1: just me showing like every day, like you're going to
- 38:54Speaker 1: be different than every other girl in the world. So
- 38:56Speaker 1: like that's kind of my angles. Like I'm not going
- 38:59Speaker 1: to propose to you in this spot, like we can
- 39:00Speaker 1: go up to the top. Uh yeah, we can go
- 39:04Speaker 1: somewhere else. We're not gonna get proposed. I'm not proposed
- 39:06Speaker 1: to you where everyone else is. Like you know, you're different,
- 39:08Speaker 1: You're different to me, so, um, no one's been my fiance.
- 39:12Speaker 1: So like that's what that was where my head was at.
- 39:13Speaker 1: That's really funny he said that I totally forgot about that. Well,
- 39:17Speaker 1: you continue to blame sort of maybe you're not maybe
- 39:21Speaker 1: the cast is maybe the girls that you're with our
- 39:24Speaker 1: um the teddy thing kind of lingers with you and
- 39:28Speaker 1: you're not over it. So which is why you know
- 39:32Speaker 1: he's cringing right now, which is why like it didn't
- 39:35Speaker 1: work out with Jacenia and then n C. But was
- 39:38Speaker 1: that true? Maybe that was true in the moment, it
- 39:41Speaker 1: was true, Yeah, but then like in hindsight, you're also
- 39:43Speaker 1: made have just probably been like yeah, but it's all
- 39:45Speaker 1: it's like it's I'm thinking of her, but it's also
- 39:47Speaker 1: just not you. Yes, yes, absolutely. Um. And here's the thing,
- 39:52Speaker 1: like if they had brought someone down there, Um, it's
- 39:56Speaker 1: like every other breakup, like your boys are like they're like, hey,
- 40:00Speaker 1: go back out there, you get back in the field
- 40:01Speaker 1: and you know we'll get back in Sometimes you're not ready,
- 40:03Speaker 1: but you still do it anyways. Um, Like it wasn't
- 40:07Speaker 1: that I wasn't ready, It was just there wasn't the
- 40:09Speaker 1: right girl to do it. And like and here's the thing,
- 40:12Speaker 1: like everything sped up there and like they want me
- 40:14Speaker 1: to be to be able to get to propose. I'm like,
- 40:17Speaker 1: there's nobody here that I believe that I would get
- 40:19Speaker 1: to that stage with UM, But like that doesn't mean
- 40:23Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna try, you know what I mean. But
- 40:24Speaker 1: it also like I never had the rose again, so
- 40:27Speaker 1: it's like I wasn't picking people. Only give out one
- 40:32Speaker 1: rose and that was a teddy girl girl girls was
- 40:36Speaker 1: a girl girl girl like yeah, so like exactly, and
- 40:41Speaker 1: then Brittany chose Tyler over me, and then like just
- 40:44Speaker 1: saying you like I never said, just saying you couldn't
- 40:46Speaker 1: go talk to any other boy. She's like, oh, you
- 40:48Speaker 1: let me on or you. I'm like, no, I didn't,
- 40:51Speaker 1: Like I told you, I'm gonna try, but I'm going
- 40:53Speaker 1: at this pace like and there's no telling if like
- 40:55Speaker 1: we ever get to this part, but I'm gonna try,
- 40:57Speaker 1: you know what I mean? And we try hide and
- 41:00Speaker 1: I was gonna go home before NC. You don't know
- 41:03Speaker 1: the timing of what the producers are gonna They just
- 41:05Speaker 1: dropped bombshell. N He gets there and I'm like, oh,
- 41:08Speaker 1: she's really cute. Maybe I'll go on a day with Ancy.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Maybe there's something I felt a little something go on
- 41:12Speaker 1: a day with NC. UM if Ncy came earlier, we
- 41:17Speaker 1: could be still talking, you know what I mean. Um,
- 41:20Speaker 1: but it was just all Timing was crazy. Timing was crazy.
- 41:25Speaker 1: The Hunger Games of love, Yeah it was insane. But yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I think I think the whole teddy thing did have
- 41:37Speaker 1: a lot of I wanted to go home. I was gone.
- 41:42Speaker 1: I was gone with n before all of that. As
- 41:45Speaker 1: soon as I laughed, soon as she laughed, I was like,
- 41:47Speaker 1: all right, well that was the reason I came here, Daddy,
- 41:50Speaker 1: Like you wanted to leave. Did you feel jealous that
- 41:52Speaker 1: she got to leave and you didn't? No, no, no, no.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Michael A stepped in and gave me the speech of
- 41:58Speaker 1: a lifetime. Same way him and Rodney, they just were
- 42:02Speaker 1: every day like no, bro, you gotta stay, you gotta
- 42:04Speaker 1: do this, Like Michael is talking about, like what kind
- 42:07Speaker 1: of father do you want to be? And you're just
- 42:08Speaker 1: gonna give up and quit, And I'm like, tim cool,
- 42:11Speaker 1: And then these guys like, come on, bro, we're gonna
- 42:14Speaker 1: be here man, like you you're gonna find someone. Just
- 42:16Speaker 1: take your time, just get back out there. Like you know,
- 42:18Speaker 1: you weren't really like feeling it. She wasn't feeling It's fine,
- 42:20Speaker 1: like you know it's over, like just you can move
- 42:22Speaker 1: on from this and you can still save something. You know,
- 42:24Speaker 1: you can find something. Every single second I'm getting like
- 42:27Speaker 1: they're hitting me with those and I'm like all right, alright, alright, alright,
- 42:30Speaker 1: And the producers are like, well, you know, if you
- 42:33Speaker 1: turned down a Rose, that person goes home too. I
- 42:35Speaker 1: was like, you mother, because why doesn't work like that.
- 42:40Speaker 1: People were like, we'll give you a friendship ros. I'll
- 42:42Speaker 1: be like, I'll be damned if I get a friendship
- 42:44Speaker 1: Ros in this minute, Like I will flip this place
- 42:46Speaker 1: upside down, don't you dare. I was like, There's no
- 42:50Speaker 1: way I'm doing that, Like I'm going home. Um so yeah, okay.
- 42:55Speaker 1: So Teddy wrote something on Instagram about like it was
- 43:00Speaker 1: like kind of alluding to her making her own choices
- 43:05Speaker 1: or like feeling screwed over from the producers and like
- 43:08Speaker 1: never wanting to be in that situation again. It was
- 43:10Speaker 1: kind of cryptic, what's your take. It's actually the first
- 43:15Speaker 1: time someone's asked me that. Um, you know, I one
- 43:23Speaker 1: of the things that like, you know, I I trust
- 43:26Speaker 1: a lot of people, and I, you know, it's just
- 43:28Speaker 1: how I operate. I don't know anything and what happened, um.
- 43:32Speaker 1: And that was the first thing I texted her when
- 43:33Speaker 1: I got out of the show. I was like, you know,
- 43:35Speaker 1: I heard things when like someone haywire and I just
- 43:39Speaker 1: wanted to check in on her. I was like, oh,
- 43:40Speaker 1: I hope everything's well and she's responded to me, and
- 43:42Speaker 1: she was like, yeah, everything went well. I want to
- 43:44Speaker 1: thank you. You're like you're a paradise to me. But like, UM,
- 43:48Speaker 1: the producers were not treating me kindly, And I was like, okay,
- 43:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I wish I hate to try to go
- 43:53Speaker 1: through that alone whatever. UM, But I don't know, you know,
- 43:58Speaker 1: it's off because I keep seeing like people saying that
- 44:03Speaker 1: um the producer for forcing her to be with me.
- 44:07Speaker 1: First of all, no one's gonna force you to be
- 44:09Speaker 1: anyone to be with me, Like that's unacceptable. I would
- 44:12Speaker 1: never accept that, UM. So I don't know how far
- 44:14Speaker 1: oh extent where they're talking about with that UM. And secondly,
- 44:18Speaker 1: you know, had I known, like like I said, communication
- 44:21Speaker 1: was lacking there because had I known she had a
- 44:23Speaker 1: conversation with Rodney like that, like here's the thing, like,
- 44:26Speaker 1: you're not gonna burn, You're not gonna hurt my feelings.
- 44:29Speaker 1: If you're like, hey, I would love to like I
- 44:31Speaker 1: wish we got challenged. I wish someone else was there
- 44:34Speaker 1: to be like hey, what can we talk or you know,
- 44:37Speaker 1: take her and talk to her. Like I feel like
- 44:40Speaker 1: she was kind of thrown like to me, like in
- 44:43Speaker 1: a in a in a way because we had said
- 44:45Speaker 1: we expressed interest in each other, um and I feel
- 44:48Speaker 1: like in that as soon as that happened, and like
- 44:50Speaker 1: we were on the beach and felt like she felt
- 44:53Speaker 1: like it was just like I was she was the
- 44:54Speaker 1: only thing. I was the only thing she was like
- 44:55Speaker 1: allowed to talk to you. Like that's not the case.
- 44:57Speaker 1: It's like I just really you want to talk to
- 45:00Speaker 1: you And if you don't want to like express that
- 45:04Speaker 1: to me, like be like, hey, I want to talk
- 45:06Speaker 1: to other people. I kind of want to do my
- 45:08Speaker 1: own thing. I'm be like, hey, that's okay, Like that's
- 45:11Speaker 1: way better then, like, oh, I don't want to hurt him,
- 45:13Speaker 1: And like obviously we go back to the point where
- 45:15Speaker 1: like the fans like trying to bash someone for you know,
- 45:19Speaker 1: like oh she left Andrew, how could she do that?
- 45:21Speaker 1: You know what I mean? And like that's the one
- 45:22Speaker 1: thing I hate more than anything, you know, and I
- 45:25Speaker 1: didn't want her, and I feel like she felt like
- 45:27Speaker 1: that was what's gonna happen if she had chose Roddy
- 45:30Speaker 1: or chose someone else. And I'm just like and it's
- 45:32Speaker 1: not only that, but it's also we've talked about it
- 45:34Speaker 1: like the same token, like you don't want the fans
- 45:38Speaker 1: to be like, oh, poor Andrew sympathy card because she don't.
- 45:41Speaker 1: It's like he don't like one of the thing I
- 45:43Speaker 1: hate more anything, just how I've grown up and I've
- 45:46Speaker 1: never had it like easy, Like I don't love. I
- 45:48Speaker 1: hate pity, hate it, sympathy, pity, whatever you call it.
- 45:51Speaker 1: I hate it more than anything, Like I cringe more
- 45:54Speaker 1: than anything. Like when I when you're talking about the
- 45:56Speaker 1: sympathy rose, I would have I would have been I
- 45:58Speaker 1: would have been I rate if I would have been
- 46:01Speaker 1: so pissed so like to me, like it was it
- 46:05Speaker 1: was not her fault, but it was just like, um,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I get that you were upset, but like to me,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I was like, damn, well, like you can just you know,
- 46:15Speaker 1: like no one was forcing like oh I wasn't like
- 46:17Speaker 1: forcing the case, like you could have laughed at any time,
- 46:20Speaker 1: like and that's just kind of how I felt about it,
- 46:22Speaker 1: but you know, she's she's a strong woman and you
- 46:24Speaker 1: know she's gonna say how she feels, and that's good
- 46:26Speaker 1: and I'm glad that she got, like to say her peace. Um,
- 46:31Speaker 1: I mean that's pretty much you know, really I got
- 46:33Speaker 1: from it. Like I just hope that she knows that
- 46:36Speaker 1: there's no way I was gonna let someone forc you
- 46:38Speaker 1: to be with me, like zero percent chance. Yeah, uh,
- 46:45Speaker 1: it was I don't know. It was kind of confusing
- 46:46Speaker 1: to me, um, because talking to some of her friends,
- 46:50Speaker 1: like you know, Serena, I mean, Serene was confused as
- 46:52Speaker 1: all all too. You know that she kinda just up
- 46:55Speaker 1: and left. But you know, I know you wouldn't have cared,
- 46:57Speaker 1: but she you know, aside from you, I heard that
- 47:00Speaker 1: she had expressed interest in Rodney and that's who would
- 47:02Speaker 1: asked her on the day. So it's like, I know,
- 47:04Speaker 1: it's not gonna hurt, but it's not gonna like it's
- 47:06Speaker 1: not gonna be catastrophic if she wants to go with Ronnie, right,
- 47:09Speaker 1: and and so you've got two great guys that are
- 47:11Speaker 1: interested in you, and it's okay if one doesn't work out.
- 47:13Speaker 1: You know that being Andrew, but you had another great
- 47:16Speaker 1: guy there that that you were also you know you
- 47:18Speaker 1: were in there was mutual interest and I would have
- 47:21Speaker 1: left and you could have did something with Rodney, you
- 47:25Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like that could or I would
- 47:26Speaker 1: have stayed, but like there was no one really I
- 47:28Speaker 1: was interested at the time, but like, um, I just
- 47:31Speaker 1: felt really bad that she had to leave in that manner.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Um And obviously I don't know what happened with her
- 47:36Speaker 1: in the producers and you know what she told me,
- 47:39Speaker 1: she was treated on like our respect to believe it,
- 47:42Speaker 1: you know. And from the producer's side, they said they
- 47:44Speaker 1: did nothing, and I'm like, okay, well that's you know,
- 47:48Speaker 1: to each other. How someone feels is how they feel.
- 47:51Speaker 1: You can't tell them how to feel. So um so,
- 47:54Speaker 1: both party. I mean, I have a great relationship with
- 47:56Speaker 1: the producers. And also I think me and Teddy your friends,
- 47:59Speaker 1: I believe that. Um So, you know, my interpretation of
- 48:04Speaker 1: it is that she just must be very skeptical, maybe
- 48:11Speaker 1: a little paranoid at the direction that she thinks that
- 48:14Speaker 1: they're leading her in, just because of that comment on Instagram,
- 48:19Speaker 1: her trying to get out of paradise so quickly, and
- 48:24Speaker 1: then even if you look back on Clayton season. She
- 48:26Speaker 1: was such a favorite at the beginning and everybody was like,
- 48:29Speaker 1: can't wait to watch Teddy like that, she was all
- 48:31Speaker 1: the focus was on her on that first episode, and
- 48:35Speaker 1: then she kind of faded into obscurity on the season
- 48:37Speaker 1: gets limited, like sort of midway through. And I'm wondering
- 48:41Speaker 1: if just because she had a hard time being like
- 48:44Speaker 1: super open and honest in interviews and then that led
- 48:48Speaker 1: to less air time and just like just not an
- 48:51Speaker 1: interesting character because she was so close off. Um. I
- 48:55Speaker 1: have no idea, but I think she's closed off in
- 49:00Speaker 1: some situations. Like I said, communication, if it's just been
- 49:03Speaker 1: you just let it, let me have it. I'm a
- 49:06Speaker 1: big boy and girl, man, UM I can handle. There's
- 49:09Speaker 1: a lot less worse things than just being, you know,
- 49:12Speaker 1: told that you're not the one. UM. So I was
- 49:16Speaker 1: just like, okay, well, you know, if we had those conversations,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I think that would have been easier. She does. It
- 49:22Speaker 1: seems like she has a couple of ayers and needs
- 49:23Speaker 1: to be pulled back. Um. But also like we're on
- 49:26Speaker 1: we're on television. It's not the easiest, you know what
- 49:28Speaker 1: I mean. So it's like I get it, and I'm
- 49:30Speaker 1: like the same way too, Like I want to be
- 49:32Speaker 1: this super confident guy that I am all the time.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Once that camera hits your face and there's everyone sitting
- 49:38Speaker 1: there watching, and we're supposed to have this fireworkup relationship,
- 49:44Speaker 1: like it was, it was tough. It was tough. So
- 49:47Speaker 1: I mean I think the first the first time we
- 49:49Speaker 1: started talking, the first shot we had, I think there
- 49:51Speaker 1: was like maybe nine or ten cameras, like I mean
- 49:54Speaker 1: all the way around, like every angle, and I was
- 49:56Speaker 1: like holy, like and like, and that's when you're like, Okay,
- 50:01Speaker 1: they're really pushing this, you know what I mean. But
- 50:03Speaker 1: and I can see how that scared her. And I
- 50:07Speaker 1: think I didn't help. Yeah, and I didn't help because
- 50:10Speaker 1: I was like I was looking for the big moment. Oh,
- 50:13Speaker 1: here's our big moment. Here it is, here, it is,
- 50:15Speaker 1: here's the big moment. And uh, you know, I just
- 50:17Speaker 1: wish I would have just spend more like reeling down earth.
- 50:20Speaker 1: I understand. Why do you think she didn't show up
- 50:34Speaker 1: to the reunion show? Oh she's over it. She's over
- 50:38Speaker 1: the show, over the men, over the women, anything that
- 50:42Speaker 1: has a Bachelor tie she's over. And that's like I
- 50:44Speaker 1: told you, she's she's a strong independent woman. She's um.
- 50:48Speaker 1: She didn't even take for no one and she's gonna
- 50:50Speaker 1: do what she has set her has set her mind
- 50:52Speaker 1: for um, you know, and that's cooler. And I one
- 50:56Speaker 1: thing I would say, I was kind of disappointed, um
- 51:00Speaker 1: that Bachelor didn't air my part about it, because that
- 51:03Speaker 1: was like my clarity, like I needed to just like
- 51:05Speaker 1: I hope she sees it. And like because we we
- 51:08Speaker 1: didn't really get to talk much about like anything. So
- 51:12Speaker 1: what was the moment. Oh, we just I just sat
- 51:16Speaker 1: down on the on the on the couch and just
- 51:18Speaker 1: kind of really it was just like a message to
- 51:19Speaker 1: her and just be like, hey, you know, I hope
- 51:23Speaker 1: we're good, you know what I mean. I hope that
- 51:25Speaker 1: you know, you know that I wasn't mad at you
- 51:28Speaker 1: or none of the things that are people are saying
- 51:30Speaker 1: or like and you're not alone or you're not like
- 51:33Speaker 1: ostracized in this really in this franchise, Like I think
- 51:36Speaker 1: people still love you, like you know, and I think
- 51:38Speaker 1: you're really a person. And there were moments in our
- 51:41Speaker 1: relationship that I thought were incredible and I wouldn't trade
- 51:44Speaker 1: it for anything, and I wish that we could have
- 51:45Speaker 1: did you know, we could have did some things differently,
- 51:49Speaker 1: and that's just like the clarity that I needed to
- 51:51Speaker 1: kind of say. And I never got to like really
- 51:54Speaker 1: get it to her because but you said it through
- 51:55Speaker 1: a screen, not to her. But that's just that was
- 51:58Speaker 1: the only way you're gonna get it. And I isn't
- 52:00Speaker 1: gonna go freaking reach out again. Like so she didn't
- 52:02Speaker 1: respond when you damned her message? She did? She did, Yeah,
- 52:05Speaker 1: but like we never had a chat chat. Like I'm
- 52:09Speaker 1: not going to send a bunch of paragraph boxes to something.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, yeah, I would really love to hop
- 52:15Speaker 1: on a call with you one of these days, just
- 52:17Speaker 1: kind of check in with you. And that third message
- 52:20Speaker 1: that I sent when I said that didn't she didn't
- 52:23Speaker 1: respond to that. So I was like, Okay, we just
- 52:24Speaker 1: never had a conversation. Yeah, all right, Well we can't
- 52:29Speaker 1: end the podcast without talking about the moment with n C,
- 52:31Speaker 1: which was the most awkward moment I can remember from
- 52:34Speaker 1: the show. You guys were at the prom was it prom?
- 52:38Speaker 1: What was it? Nineties party? Sady Hawkins and um, she
- 52:44Speaker 1: you had it. You were ready to leave and there
- 52:48Speaker 1: was a just sendia thing or she got annoyed. Oh
- 52:51Speaker 1: my gosh, it was so ridiculous. She got annoyed because
- 52:54Speaker 1: he were talking to Senia. She must have been drunk,
- 52:56Speaker 1: off r asked, because if we were all drunk, all right.
- 53:00Speaker 1: It So then she goes up to you and you're like,
- 53:02Speaker 1: I'm leaving and you're and she's like please Andrew, please,
- 53:05Speaker 1: please please please? Was it just as awkward experiencing in
- 53:09Speaker 1: real life? Um? Justin, I feel like you were there?
- 53:14Speaker 1: Were you watching this? Yeah? I was at home home
- 53:17Speaker 1: at this point. I was booted again. UM so my
- 53:20Speaker 1: first time seen was when it when it aired, I
- 53:24Speaker 1: I I again, I will take responsibility for this again. UM.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I wasn't very good at like communicating with n C
- 53:32Speaker 1: of the situation with Justina. What's going on? Um, that
- 53:36Speaker 1: was not a pleasant conversation between me and Justin. You.
- 53:39Speaker 1: I don't think really anyone got the full gist of it.
- 53:42Speaker 1: So there's a lot more things that were said that
- 53:44Speaker 1: I wasn't very happy about. Um. And it was like
- 53:47Speaker 1: it was just like a shot at my character and
- 53:49Speaker 1: I was just not happy about it. Um. So then
- 53:53Speaker 1: NC coming up and I was like, hey, it's not
- 53:56Speaker 1: like I really need to just clear this up. I
- 53:58Speaker 1: you know, I mean just an have been friends before this,
- 54:01Speaker 1: like at the end of the day, like I still
- 54:03Speaker 1: want to be like friends, like where we have like
- 54:05Speaker 1: a good you know, and I hope this is we
- 54:07Speaker 1: may have kissed like eight times total, like we weren't
- 54:10Speaker 1: like very you know, in paradise like me and just said,
- 54:15Speaker 1: you know, I was like we weren't. You know, we
- 54:17Speaker 1: tried it. It just wasn't just never clicked for me.
- 54:21Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, So I was like, I
- 54:25Speaker 1: was like, oh no, I hope you know. I completely
- 54:27Speaker 1: adore you. I just don't think we would work. And
- 54:30Speaker 1: you know, obviously like I'm trying, but also knowing that
- 54:33Speaker 1: my heart's in some other place. Um, and I wish
- 54:36Speaker 1: we were just told Ncy was just like yo, my
- 54:39Speaker 1: questions being in character, you know, like just give me
- 54:41Speaker 1: a second. I'll be right with you, I promise you.
- 54:44Speaker 1: And we're drunk. We're drunk drunk, like this is like
- 54:48Speaker 1: four am maybe and I've had like thirteen white wines
- 54:51Speaker 1: not even kidding you, and everyone's like, dude, I applaud
- 54:56Speaker 1: you. You You were I don't know how you were. So
- 54:58Speaker 1: like I get like so overed up really fast, Like
- 55:01Speaker 1: when there's a serious moment, so I gets sorry but um, yeah,
- 55:07Speaker 1: so and he comes back over and then she lays on.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I mean, she's like, if you don't leave her like
- 55:12Speaker 1: this or then I'm like, okay, And how long had
- 55:16Speaker 1: you known her at this point? Seventeen hours? Maybe? Well no,
- 55:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying because you know TV time and lifetime. Yes,
- 55:26Speaker 1: So our date was at night, um, and this was
- 55:30Speaker 1: it was okay and it was like twenty seven hours.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry about um. Anyways, Um, great girl, and she's
- 55:37Speaker 1: and he's great, like super fun, great to be around. Um. Um.
- 55:44Speaker 1: But the situation. She was drunk, we were all drunk, intoxicated,
- 55:48Speaker 1: and you know, it was it was awkward, but like
- 55:52Speaker 1: it's just overheightened because of the situation we were in.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Like it was late and like I said, we were
- 55:56Speaker 1: we had a couple of drinks and yeah we were.
- 56:01Speaker 1: We were having the and it's Andrew Spencer. Nobody wants
- 56:03Speaker 1: to see you go, man, shut up. So we were
- 56:06Speaker 1: we were just having a great time, like it was
- 56:07Speaker 1: the best time on the beach. Like I'm dancing, I'm
- 56:10Speaker 1: dancing dancing. I'm like they're they're playing music for us,
- 56:15Speaker 1: Like oh yeah, that was a treaty. I was like,
- 56:20Speaker 1: I am not going I am going all out as
- 56:22Speaker 1: my Super Bowl. Um and where everyone's more rally in
- 56:26Speaker 1: that place was so high, I mean seeing smiley faces.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Everything was great. And then just saying it came out
- 56:32Speaker 1: of here with a dark cloud. I was like, oh
- 56:33Speaker 1: my god, don't do this to me. I was like,
- 56:35Speaker 1: I just wanted one night. Actually I was gonna I
- 56:39Speaker 1: don't think it would have. I think I was gonna
- 56:40Speaker 1: go home regardless. Then the next road ceremony, okay, but
- 56:46Speaker 1: I wanted to see as far as I can go
- 56:47Speaker 1: within see and I wanted to have conversations tomorrow at
- 56:50Speaker 1: the road ceremony like the cocktail party, and just just
- 56:54Speaker 1: really get in serious to see where we can go.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Maybe I'm like, hey, we can leave and maybe we
- 56:59Speaker 1: start dating after this. That was still like a thing possibility,
- 57:02Speaker 1: But obviously I know the back of my head, I'm like,
- 57:06Speaker 1: they're not teddy. So I was like, I think I
- 57:10Speaker 1: was gonna be done the next rostemoney anyways, but like
- 57:13Speaker 1: Sadie Hawking is just going on, I'm like, I'm in
- 57:15Speaker 1: such a good mood, like and he was there and
- 57:18Speaker 1: we were having a great time together. You know she's
- 57:20Speaker 1: really good girl. I just think, you know, the situation
- 57:24Speaker 1: was just not ideal for for her myself. And yeah,
- 57:29Speaker 1: and she's located. She's I met it for the first
- 57:31Speaker 1: time at the at the reunion. She seems awesome. Um
- 57:35Speaker 1: where she living. She's in New York. Okay, So we've
- 57:40Speaker 1: got a couple options for this new year. We're not
- 57:45Speaker 1: we're not circling the block and we're doing it. Okay,
- 57:49Speaker 1: it's gonna be like what's that one with Ryan Reynolds
- 57:52Speaker 1: yet maybe yeah, definitely, maybe, definitely maybe, yeah, And you'll
- 57:59Speaker 1: have to tell your kids the story. Like alright, I'm
- 58:06Speaker 1: gonna let justin wrap this up and ask the last question,
- 58:10Speaker 1: whether it be funny, whether it be heartfelt, just the
- 58:14Speaker 1: a question between best friends. You know, UM, we talk
- 58:19Speaker 1: a lot, obviously, we do everything. Um. You know I'm
- 58:27Speaker 1: the same way as you. Um. You know I'm looking
- 58:30Speaker 1: for something to happen organically. You know I can't force it. Um,
- 58:34Speaker 1: So I guess, is there is there that wow moment
- 58:38Speaker 1: or that one action or character traitor or anything that
- 58:43Speaker 1: when it happen or have you ever felt it? Is
- 58:44Speaker 1: there anything where it's like when this is when I'll no, Um, yeah,
- 58:50Speaker 1: it happens. Here's here's a here's a hot take. I
- 58:54Speaker 1: believe you have multiple soul mates. Um, and I've had multiple,
- 58:58Speaker 1: Like there's there are times where I was like, oh wow,
- 59:00Speaker 1: like I feel something with this person like I've never
- 59:03Speaker 1: felt with anyone. Like you love each person that you've
- 59:06Speaker 1: been with differently, Like it's never the same love. You're
- 59:09Speaker 1: never gonna love someone the same. So every single spark
- 59:12Speaker 1: or everything, every firework that you have with one person
- 59:14Speaker 1: is not the same as it is with you know another,
- 59:18Speaker 1: So like you just kind of like I don't know
- 59:21Speaker 1: whichever one that like really takes you the highest? Uh,
- 59:24Speaker 1: is what like I'm really looking for? And sometimes you
- 59:27Speaker 1: know that goes by going on dates and you know
- 59:30Speaker 1: seeing it. It It doesn't mean you go home and sleep
- 59:32Speaker 1: with someone. It just means that you know you're going
- 59:35Speaker 1: and just try to get to know their personality, who
- 59:37Speaker 1: they are a person and who you know, know their
- 59:39Speaker 1: heart is. Might P always say, um, and That's what
- 59:42Speaker 1: I'm doing, Like I swhy I said I want a
- 59:43Speaker 1: wholesomee wholesome because wholesome is like the general base. You know,
- 59:47Speaker 1: if you're a wholesome person, Um, you know it doesn't
- 59:49Speaker 1: matter at the end of the day, like the but
- 59:51Speaker 1: the decisions that are gonna make between us are gonna
